Starting point is 00:00:00 A LISTENUP PRODUCTION Activate your internet Cause the hay mission and the podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering 1 A Hoi-Di-Hem! Hoi-Boot! A hoi-do-you-jack-o. Oh, hoi. Back in the studio. It feels nice. Oh, you bring in the headphones.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Just to kind of keep a bit of a... We are still rocking the headphones from Corona Safe. You didn't notice last week, but take off your headphones. Have a look on the side of them. HD 280 Pro. Notice at the top. Oh, hoi-bote. Oh, hoi-bote.
Starting point is 00:00:38 We are still rocking the headphones from Corona Safe. You didn't notice last week, but take off your headphones. Have a look on the side of them. HD 280 Pro. Notice at the top. Oh, hoi-bote. We are still rocking the headphones from Corona Safe. You didn't notice last week, but take off your headphones. Have a look on the side of them. HD 280 pro. Notice to the top.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Labeled my headphones. I've labelled your head. So much effort must go into your life. I noticed before to get cast quite a sharp eye at me when we all caught up just before the show, just to tell you what we might talk about, because immediately it'd be a coffee cup of mine tip sideways on the floor. It's filled with a coffee. I'm a very sharp eye from Andy. I mean, it's company for, mate.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Yeah, it's a rather... I actually noticed that as well. We rub it in, we move on. That's life. Scrub and move. I mean, what, you can't rip up the whole floor and set it off to the hand steam cleaning. And nor will we.
Starting point is 00:01:30 I mean, let's not leave this. I'm glad you're rubbed in the evidence. That was my worry. That was my worry. It was just like, we're using the company office. Let's just rub that in and move on. You know, I'm fine with that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Good on you though, for using a, I assume you've got a label maker on, we had one, one, so bought one, just gonna label some stuff. So you did a bit of labeling, but then I used me and Sonny used all the tape, just like labeling ourselves, and then who can be bothered
Starting point is 00:01:55 ever getting a tape refill? Like exactly. That label, now it's just a, you know, just sits in the cupboard as a reminder of better days. But Blackhead for intense, black label, white riding. Did you put different tapings? Change the cartridge check. Oh!
Starting point is 00:02:09 That, that, that, just the amount, the amount of admin. It's nice, like, I mean, you probably did it yourself because your eyes have to see my headphones. Yes. I've also got Andy on. Oh, you wouldn't get a focus if you knew
Starting point is 00:02:23 what was happening up on your head. Didn't label Jacks. Felt he, but he replaceable. He was calling us a hobby. I thought the new guy. I wish you'd have just put miscellaneous homies. I noticed how good a different brand as well. Did you get you guys the best brand in me or a register?
Starting point is 00:02:37 Possibly. Well, we've got pros. Yeah, yeah. Because the name we've been doing is for a long time. You could try me instead of not just felt like. You're gonna get a match. I've actually been doing radio for a long time. You could try me into the night, I just felt like. You're going to die, so I've actually been doing radio for a long time. After Jack called us... You've been around it.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I've certainly been hovering. Hey, after Jack accused the show of being a hobby for him, I didn't feel like he was allowed work equipment to be labelled as a hobby. How could you then turn around and buy him pro head coats? I'm... Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh this is weeks ago and I meant to talk about this on last week's show, but Jack reminded me of something that he, remember I gave Jack my bicycle and he got it stolen. Yeah. And he never really cared about that. I did care about that. The care we wear is off with some experience. I can't much leave. You care because you were enjoying riding the bike around, I was my bike now I don't have a bike
Starting point is 00:03:47 So I can't I can't usually I just I'm I guess I'm just we're so used to being generous check that I'm still the bike Honestly my mind my question would be my question would be are we so are we too good to jack? Yeah Ask his mom yeah, she says that we're too good to answer. But when you ask my mum if you're too good to answer it, we'll call the new to catch up. We'll call the new to catch up. And it is a hot topic of conversation. She's the one calling us to say turn it down because he doesn't know what the real world's like.
Starting point is 00:04:17 It's an explosion of the real world. Exactly. Because if there's anyone who's lost touch with reality, yes. No, no. And then I know I live in reality, a common man and woman. So you've lost touch of that, you've lost touch with reality, yes. No, no. And the hell I live in reality, a common man and woman. So you've lost touch with that,
Starting point is 00:04:27 you've lost touch with that whole universe. I am common and I have my finger on the pulse of reality. Why don't you like your bike up then? Hey, it was locked up, they used, they probably used, yes, it was a cheap lock. Common, they're common lock. We've only used a can. We've only used a can about your possessions
Starting point is 00:04:42 enough to invest in a good lock. Sorry, play the order of fall. Hoi, hey, Mish and Andy. Just chilling in a hammock at the moment. We can tell. In ISO, obviously, watching my mother shovel some horse poo. Anyway, I just want to show love over the radio wave to my best mate, Mil, who was supposed to get married on the 5th of April.
Starting point is 00:05:07 But classically, postponed thanks to Mr. Rona himself or herself, rather. Anyway, Mil's a big fan, and I didn't do anything that's special on the day, so I'm really hoping this will make up for it. Alright, stay alert, stay safe boys. Stay alert, stay alert. Stay alert. Harrison, it was. And stay safe is Corona. Long message.
Starting point is 00:05:33 That would have taken a while. I'll post. It's hammock vibes. hammock vibes. You don't rush a hammock message. Hey, you want to kick off today. Got a quick question for you. It, someone contacted me saying, I know Andy, and then they've asked for something.
Starting point is 00:05:46 But before I get to what they've asked for, I've written down the name because I don't know for my, you might, for whatever reason, because I don't know if you've got personal history with this person, you might, we might want to say this man's name or not. If you look, you can, so three things, I guess, can happen when I hand you this note. You look at the name and you say I do not know this man Okay, so it's a name. I'm looking at a picture It's a name you can see I'm just torn it. It's been brought for you and written the name down You might look at the name and go I do know this man. I do know which to talk about
Starting point is 00:06:15 And the name will remain secret and he won't even know that we're talking about it You can say I know this man and I do wish that I have no issue talking about it. Okay. There's a three response of all that to say I know this man. Why do I feel like we're playing a bad game of the third of history? And I have no issue talking about it. Okay, say the man's name. Benny Craven. Benny Craven. Was he at school with you?
Starting point is 00:06:43 He was at school. I'm gonna say, there was two Cravens, neither in my year-level. I have another riddle as we try and solve this murder. From memory, I feel like he was, you below me. The younger Craven. Yeah. It could be. It could be. I can't remember. I think he was, you below me. I think a hog's good friend of the show. I think he played 40, amateur 40 with hogs. A good dossier on Kravit. He's content.
Starting point is 00:07:09 It's not a bad thing at all. But I thought it was all more than that. He contacted though with an interesting question. Okay. He said, look, you know, he found the show, listen to the show. Oh, thanks man. And he said, I said, look, I want to talk to you
Starting point is 00:07:23 about electronic drum kit. To me, I said, right, you come to the right place. I've bought several, I've played them several times a piece. Uh, he said, I, he follows you, I guess, Jack, as well, I'm going to give you a guy the way. Well, he's my question. He's very itchy. He, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he,
Starting point is 00:07:37 he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, room, that he very, like, seriously has at his custom build house. It's really, it's still a custom build house. It's still a custom build house.
Starting point is 00:07:51 It's a really custom build house. It must be very nice, enjoy it. Every house is custom, pretty much, except for like, you had, you built it to your custom requirement. Yeah, it's exact. Jack, not every house, mate, there's a lot of display homes. I bought mine of someone else, but it must be very nice to have a custom build house, and I hope you do enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I hope you're appreciative of that fact that not every common man would have access to. Anyway, he's seen building it yourself. That's very common man. No, not really. Not how long it took you. You can't build it. I end up building it. Anyway, I spoke handcrafted.
Starting point is 00:08:20 In the background, he's in the drum kit. He said, look, the new Bione He said, look, the buying drum kit, I went to running drum kit, he goes, if you're not using yours, I see it at Jack's house. And you know, he said, you're not to be fair, you're not getting a good price for the rental.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Yeah, he was kind of worried that I was getting a bit stiff by Jack, even though he's essentially just storing it for you because your wife wanted it out of the house. I think he sees Jack as sort of more of a medieval landlord and me, like, you know, stiffing me and just throwing me a pittance and I, he wanted to pay good money to rent. He said I'd pay good money to own the drum kit.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Unless you're using it again. And I thought, well, he raises an interesting point. He hasn't asked us specifically, but that is a drum kit I use for cool boys and the front man, our band. We haven't talked about any gigs for a while. I guess I'm coming to the band to say I've had a very generous offer made on the kit. It would be at current rates, the same as him paying almost hundreds of
Starting point is 00:09:19 years of rental in one hit. For the money I'm making, renting the kit. Yep. So it is attractive when someone pays you 500 times advanced rental rates. 500 years worth. But you have a contract with the person currently renting it. That's tough for you. That's something I could wriggle out of. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:36 But the one thing I can't, I won't put a price on, is the band's intention, and if we would do again. Would we make this commitment? When the world isn't allowed to come together again, with cool boys in the front man, play a welcome back gig show. Oh yeah. Would we do that?
Starting point is 00:09:55 Because I'll go back to band and say, look, it's not for sale, I appreciate your offer. If we're committed to looking at a post social distancing, so this thing has to be completely over. So when we're back to looking at a post social distancing. So this thing has to be completely over. So when we're back to a full audience, it's like, we don't want to do like a zoom one. No, no, no, no, no. We're talking about live time.
Starting point is 00:10:13 I mean, Lady Gaga did one of those from home and it was good, it was like some of the others. Some of the others really, Dave Dobbins, they go, You're doing it as well with your brother. Yeah, but not like to the point where people should pay or be excited to go and see them. You go, Hey, what are you doing in this world with your brother? Yeah, but not like to the point where people should pay or be excited to go and see them.
Starting point is 00:10:27 You know, like, we want people. I think we want people. We want people. We want shoulder to shoulder. I catch it with my brother, but again, you wouldn't want anyone to be. We're a live band. Yeah, we are a live band, Jack.
Starting point is 00:10:38 And we, and we're a good band. Oh, very good. Yeah. It's not forget that. We're a great band. Yep. And good. Yeah, we're a great band. We're a great band. And so I was just thinking, if that was in our sites, for when crowds will add to Stan Shorter to Shorter again, I'll go back to band and I'll say, look, Andy, does remember
Starting point is 00:10:53 you, and he does not have a dish you're talking about you. But we know we talk about the final show of the year being something that we're going to show off our skills. Oh, that's off, I think. That's going to probably be off, isn't it? I've been thinking we can do a public show. So no need to keep training on the skills. Well, that's interesting, because I actually have my first session this week. So good to know if we're canceling or not.
Starting point is 00:11:14 I think the Vandy's sort of heard about mine or close enough. Well, you said like, is it in this region? Oh, I was just joking. Now, and then I was like, oh, look, it's not that, but it's similar. So I just threw a, like, I don't have to practice. No, I have no idea what yours is. No, I think you do, so I think it's off. I was never married to my wife.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Do you want the right to change it? I've kind of already have a bit. Really? Okay. Anyway, you're the one that asked to do this. I know, it seems like a fun idea. No, I'm not. And I said at the time that he'd be the one to do it.
Starting point is 00:11:50 It just hasn't sat right since then. I love the idea of coming up with a good idea and I just never really felt like it nailed it. I don't hate my skill. I'm just not. I've been super motivated to do it. Well, I wouldn't know if it's all right. How motivated are you to do yours?
Starting point is 00:12:03 Well, I was in and I was putting it off for a long time. Until, how long do you need to use it? I'm calling my finger out this week. Having started but didn't need to, was it kind of eyeing of August to kick it in? Yeah, I could nail, I mean, one month of actual practice and I could get mine. I'm still keen to try it.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Yeah, I'ma come find, well, it looked... He doesn't. I'm not talking about that anyway. What we're saying is we're probably not gonna do that public show where we show us because thank God because let's call off the skills then because I just know That you're not going to do it now. I'm more interested in Perfect timing if it is because I was just literally three days away from doing my first session now. I don't have to well Okay, so this has been a big meeting We will gig again. We can gig again is the front man.
Starting point is 00:12:46 It will probably some time in 2021. It's gonna be 2021 and we're not doing our skills anymore. Yeah. Great, what were they? Let's hear it. Well, if we have a change of how, let's give it a two, three or four. I'm gonna let you do it.
Starting point is 00:12:57 If it's off, it's on. A four week. What was yours, Jack? No, what if we, what if we come back this time next week? So you want to do it? No, this time next week? So you do want to do it? No, this time next week, we just give us, we're out of the giddiness of whatever's happening now. We were great, we were great,
Starting point is 00:13:11 we were great, canceling it. I'm worried I'll regret canceling mine. Right, we can still learn them, it's still a skill you have, like I'll still be able to fall drive. Okay, anyway, it's not enough, but the announce and tell you. Pop it off, it's off,
Starting point is 00:13:23 but with one week review period. As to whether we tell. Yep. Cooling off period. Why are you confused? Why are we dead? Hey, we've got something to talk about with the group. Yep. I haven't told you this yet. We're back in the building today, first day since the incident. Yep. I went to the bathroom just before. And as was at the place.
Starting point is 00:13:54 What incident? The cap I can see. Yeah, right. So there's a new bathroom. Sorry, don't tell me you've had another operation or something. No, no. Came out of the cubicle, Yep. Turned the security guard was right there.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Around into him in the lift. Yeah. And I tried to say, I think there's only one person in the lift. No, there's two. Right, so my mistake. I misread that giant sign that says only two people in the lift. People would know,
Starting point is 00:14:19 and we've talked about it before, that we like ghosting each other out of the car park. We're involved in an arms race. At the moment, each other out of the car park. We're involved in an arms race. At the moment, with the owners of the car park here in the building that we park in, they have known about us for years. We've been on their radar. And I guess they've reached a breaking point lately because we talked about them putting the new security cameras in.
Starting point is 00:14:40 So we would wait for someone to leave who was a paying member and ask that we assume we should be free because of the great vows We give to this area. I think so. I think so. I think we just paid our dues. We paid enough times over the years that from now on we're gold members and we're part of free. We can drive out behind the other cars because enough for the system to think it's just one long car. Along sausage car. And a lot of people when they hear this method, my wife and people, oh, well, you know, don't do that. The boom get will come down on your car,
Starting point is 00:15:08 which we will of course say it's a scam. That's what they want you to think. That's, it's a giant game of chicken. It's not worth their hassle to damage a car. The paperwork that comes with that, we're calling their bluff. It's a steering contest. They always blink, we get out.
Starting point is 00:15:22 So to come back smoothly, they can, they had an old camera there and they could see us doing this with reckless abandon. We're not, I mean, we're very careful with the distance to the car in front, but with quite a lot of abandon still, and then they've put in a new system that they are ledge, try to speak us in there. They went, oh, we'll get your number plates now and now we'll refer it to the police. Sure. Here's the number of detective, constable, doesn't exist because there's no way the cops are investigating such a low level crime. You're trying to speak us again and it's not going to work. And they said, well, we're going to get you. And we said,
Starting point is 00:15:57 we welcome the challenge. It is our job to never pay for parking. It's your job to try and catch us. May the best man win. PS, you'll notice where I'm talking about us because you're one man and where the man. Hey, that's when we got an email we never thought we'd get. We did. From Fee, who runs administration at the building here. We got the cameras to buy and large. I had a 50-50 bet on the fact that cameras were the fakies. We're just fakies. The ones you buy in two dollar shops to spook, you know, they put in like a pub or something to go, oh, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:29 we're watching you cash handling team, but you just can't afford putting cameras in. So I thought they might be just an expensive decoy. Yeah, they're not. They're not. They're the ones who turns out they can record footage and they do have not just the capacity to record footage, but they show us, they've got the capacity to scroll through it and they cut together
Starting point is 00:16:48 like a highlights reel of our best criminal activity. She said, hi guys, please watch the below footage. So we clicked on the link. Found a bit of time in that day. And sure enough, hey, we should know, walk up. There is a part of the footage that's scoping out the new cameras because we were like, are they even turned on? How do these things work? Yeah, so we go and have a little bit of look at it. Which at the time, you're allowed to look at cameras.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Oh, yeah, that's innocent. It's innocent. It's like looking at a policeman's gun on their belt. You're allowed to look at a gun. Yes, can't. I think I'd take the gun. That's one of the big rules. So you could even, oh, you probably can't fake take it.
Starting point is 00:17:25 No, you, I'm just saying, looking at a camera, you can look at the gun and think about what you might do with the gun, but you can't, you can't actually take the gun. And you can look at a security camera and that's not incriminating in and of itself. No. Unfortunately, then when you're being presented with your crimes, that's what they call circumstantial evidence
Starting point is 00:17:43 and it really does, it builds a good case for them to... To argue that it's permitted. To argue that these guys have some of them in their mind. I thought it was going to be enacted hot blood. Oh, it's too opportunity to take a note. It was accidentally, it was simply an accident. I got spooked by something behind me and I just sped off as fast as I could through the open game.
Starting point is 00:18:02 We'll put this up at the website, wwwhamishneed.com, this footage. But as we try to make pretty innocent in the video too, as Fee then goes on to note, she says notable techniques, column one, well thought out, camouflage, we are in very bright, and come out being a bright pink top. Two, lovely scoping of the location pre-crime. That's what it does, this goes.
Starting point is 00:18:24 I looking back at the footage, I don't think we have the demeanor of some bird watches. Disappointed to not be finding a red belly-definch in the underground car park. I thought we looked quite casual. Three, the nothing to see here, hands behind your back as you both look at the camera. Like a school principal. I mean, just slug any more criminal which show their hands. Then four, this is when we're in the cars. The incredibly subtle hand signals between gang members.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I'll explain what's happening here. Got to the front, right? I'd heard a rumor that the gate was just opening. Yeah. We'd heard that rumor hadn't we going, oh, cause of COVID, all beds are off. And we didn't think we were going to have to do with this for months.
Starting point is 00:19:12 So got to the boom gate, it's not opening. So the, well, I, we wrap up our ticket every day. We take great delight in doing that. We never need a ticket. Very, very rarely do we find ourselves front row. So I'm at the gate, you're behind me. I press on the thing, say a few things about how, you know, we thought it was free,
Starting point is 00:19:29 we thought it was very managed. It's COVID time. We are taking tickets, shouldn't be holding the notes. I name another business in the building. Oh, what's your name? Doesn't matter, I'm from that business. Like, just wear it and I'm down. They let the gate up.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Once I say I had the gate up, I thought the chances of you being able to talk you out as well, they'll get onto us. So that's why you up, I thought the chance of you being able to talk you out as well, they'll get on to us. So that's why you'll see a bit of a thumbs up for me. You can take quite clearly on the video. And that's St. Emil, mate. Rev hard, stay on the break.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Let's do this. And we zip out in 10 and perfect. 0.5, the recognized international we're on here, thumbs up. So she saw it as well and and then she just says look you guys are taking your ghosting talents to a new level. Thank you. So we've been caught. Yeah. I don't know what it means to us from here. Um, there, there was a bit of a, now we've got your number plates. Your voice got it.
Starting point is 00:20:20 It's written on the front of the car. Yeah. You know what car I drive. Go and have a look at it any day one. I don't care that you've got, you're not scaring me by threatening me with data collection. Check out HamishDew.com. We'll put up the CCTV footage. I know, I know all the pipes. Please check out HamishDew. Where does it stand for you now?
Starting point is 00:20:37 What's the next approach for us? I feel like we're still in this cold war. Look, I've thought about we maybe spark, we go up, we get a custom made Velcro cloth, we cover the camera each time we drive out, we park out on the street, we walk back in, we get our cloth back. You know what we should do?
Starting point is 00:20:56 Just so we don't have to park. You should get a tiny roller door on my, no, for my number plate. Oh, that's an idea. I was thinking over the camera. So we're coming and we hit the roller. We hit the buzzer for a tidy roller that goes over the camera. Yep. We go down and get in. And then, I mean, and then how about this? When we put this up online, we'll put up on Instagram, this video, this security video. Comment, if you're
Starting point is 00:21:21 a cop, comment, I'd like to see a few police officers in there. You can just say, I will believe you, just saying it's all clear from us boys, this isn't it. I'd like to just get a bit of a coverage from the men and women in uniforms going, look, not a big deal. We would never prosecute this, so I'd like to get a bit of a thanks from them. Or if you are from a miniature roller door company. Thanks for not tying up our day, We've got real stuff to do. Or if you are from a miniature roller door company, we'd like a quote. Hey, we haven't really got this one away yet. This is the show, but this idea.
Starting point is 00:22:03 It's an idea that's fascinated a nation. We haven't cooked it to perfection as yet. The idea is pizza lotto. People are coming for it, they want to play. They want to play. They want to play pizza lotto. Marcus, we want them to play. We want them to win.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Marcus went to HamishNeddy.com and contacted this. Marcus, you're a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur. I've been known to double. Oh, hoi, hoi, do you, mate? Thank you. Oh, hoi, hoi. Hasn't in the past. Oh, hoi, Marcus.
Starting point is 00:22:29 And you wanted to play pizza lotto. Correct. Yeah. Marcus, the concept is simply, obviously, a fan of the segment. We've run it now twice. Zero from two. I believe first time we seem to be ring a pizza shop.
Starting point is 00:22:42 We have to stick with him, because Pino is great. Pino, we're like, we rang when it ran. He doesn't know, he never knows it's going to happen. So this stage Pino is unaware. Yep. But he, me, must know every day he's a chance to get called by us. If I, if I'm correct, the first day was a garlic pizza. Yep. That I, we believe Pino was cooking for himself because that was during heavy lockdown. And we think we might have caught him just at the shop doing book work. Cooking himself a garlic pizza. And then the second attempt, of course, no pizzas in the oven.
Starting point is 00:23:10 The game is simple. Do we, you must, Marcus, you will be asked. And when the time comes, don't tell us now, because we'll be, you know, shooting our shuttle a little early. But when the time comes, we will ask you to guess a pizza. And if it is the next pizza due out of the oven, you will have one pizza lotto. We're about to, we're about, well, not that easy.
Starting point is 00:23:30 We're about to, are you mate? Eat a foul. Great, okay, great. So you won't be able to get the pizza delivered because I believe we've called a mascot, but that's okay, we'll send you out. What do we get? We, I think it's a coin and a pizza.
Starting point is 00:23:42 A coin and a pizza. A coin and a pizza. You won't have to have a snack if you guess the the correct variety of pizza that is next out of the oven. Can you obviously one of the thrilling moments that's available to us in this sport that we've never experienced is you guessing a Hawaiian better capricious as next out or something like that in the Hawaiian second next to be out. But we haven't even experienced a standard attempt yet. Can you put marks on hold for a second? I've got a question for Hamish. Didn't the first week we turn it? We turned it into a past a lot of very quick.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Can he go no pizza? Yeah, I guess it's like zero or double zero on all that. Because it's so common. It's more like betting on red. More than that. Yeah. I just don't know. It's a mic betting on an integer when you're playing roulette. If he asks for it, we'll give it to him. Yes. But, now over and what, but from next week's contestant, we'll be listening to this, you would think, because they're a fan of the sport.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Yes. They may be the other first person to win it. We'll see. Is this a rule now for all future attempts? Yes. Okay. Okay. Are win it, we'll see. Is this a rule now for all future attempts? Yes. Okay. Okay. Are you there, Marcus?
Starting point is 00:24:47 Yep. All good, man. Nothing to worry about, nothing to worry about, man. And let's give Peno a call. When you're having a try to guess the pizza by that's a lot too. It's a lot too. Beautiful. Hey, off you go, Jack. Here we go. To get the pizza by that salotto. Pizza-lotto. Beautiful. Hey, off you cherry check.
Starting point is 00:25:09 We haven't had a no answer from Hino yet. No. That suit we available to us too in the, um, for right, he's a failure's that- Oh, it's been a- Pino! Tamish and Andy, how are you? Hey, hey, hey, got my friend. Yeah, we are good, Pino.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Well, you know why we're calling? Okay, okay, come on, come on, come on, come on. Yeah, okay, okay, don't tell us. Pete's a lot of time, Pino. Remember, Pino, we're just refreshed the rules for me. What have I got in there? No, no, don't tell us yet. Pete knows the rules. He knows, you know the rules.
Starting point is 00:25:37 We've got Marcus on the line. Would you like to say hello to Marcus? Which one? Marcus. Yeah. Marcus, would you like to say hello back to Pino? Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:25:49 It's a spot in electric. Okay. I'll break it up, you two. So Marcus is going to do the guessing Pino, okay? Off you go, Marcus, and have a guess. Okay, fair mix. Mexican. Mexican. guess I get Hermit Mexican Mexican Ana is there a Mexican a pizzer in there no no no come on go and have another one
Starting point is 00:26:12 oh no I'm offering a repertoire mark is it you like a secondary guess you won't win a coin but you will win a pizzer in a token of no value ever second guess what do you think is in there there? We do hear a mate love his piano. No, no, no, no, no, no. You want to guess, you know? No, we're going to see. A much like in the real lot when your number doesn't come out. That's sort of it.
Starting point is 00:26:40 It's a very easy one. Tell us, Pino! Supreme! No! You would have been more like a supreme and easy one! Very popular, isn't it? What's your favourite thing about the Supreme Pizza? It's a little bit of a dingo. Beautiful.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Thank you very much, Marcus. Thank you for your next time. Thank you sir. As always, thanks for playing Pino, or thanks for hosting against. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. And Marcus Commiserations there, first person to get a second chance.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Yeah, nice. And also, Pete's being in the oven. That's a huge moment for us to show. Yeah, I'm sure. The format now feels like it's taken off. Well, no, that was good. That was the way it was meant to be. We're the weak plague it every good.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Got one more in us, I think we go, go, Jack. One more. Doesn't have to be next week, but it will be back in the future. In the future. The end of last year. One of the final shows came up that Jack had lost my Bitcoin. Yes, it did. Or the portion of my Bitcoin that I owned.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Yep. And to refresh everybody, this is what I was. It wasn't his fault. It wasn't if I might remember correctly as well. It wasn't it because you had a very busy summer job. No, no, no. This is before summer. All right. Let me tell you, let me tell you. Sorry, summer was because..., no, no. This is before summer. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Oh, sorry, summer was because... You, someone's when you were trying to find it. I will. This is what we, this was discussed last year before, before summer. Before the busy summer. What I'd like Jack in exchange is one big ask. Like, you get to, you get to, when you think of it, ask for any favor and I can't say no.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Yep. Give me a big ask. What about this? Like you get to, you get to, when you think of it, ask for any favor and I can't say no. Yeah. Give me a big ask. What about this? You have all summer to find the Bitcoin. But if you come back episode one of next year and you haven't found it, if you haven't found Annie's point 189, the big ask is in play and I will mediate it.
Starting point is 00:28:40 That is sadly only fair. Yeah. Yeah. So we got a bit of a point where you felt guilty about losing it. Yeah. Then he came back over somewhere and the guilt had worn off, hadn't it? Absolutely worn off. Now, have listened. This is what happened when we were doing from summer.
Starting point is 00:28:56 To whom are we making soon? Over some of Jack has been spending much of his time helping his elderly neighbour with chores around her house. Let's see what is this going, Jack. With his increased extra curricular load, Jack has been unable to complete his assigned Bitcoin homework. We request that you allow Jack a three-month extension, Jesus. There's...
Starting point is 00:29:17 Jack, in ten weeks, you both have... That's been quite a long time. By show nine. By show nine, you better have that password out. I'm an anti-sighted you too. I'm not... Or a bloody good sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. three months. So I've waited till show 93. That is has thrown a bit of fat on their Jack. Now that did go fast though. We will all admit. We will all admit. I think the pandemic sort of distracted us in it. Jack, was it possible to help next to a neighbor's? Because we've been in our society. I understand. I do understand you and do chores on a neighbor's house. I'm here in that end. I understand your concern and I certainly am registering your desire to have either your rightful past, or your password back. So access to your 0.189 of a Bitcoin, which would, I don't know what they were at the moment, but let's just, you know, that's a few thousand dollars. That's obviously a sting. Well, I mean, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:21 there has been, it swings around about, isn't it? I know you've done very well from the golf bag sponsorship, you know, it's to weasel into the previous shows when we're in your golf simulator. You can get a single dollar out of there. Well, a dollar, but perhaps a few in kind gestures. I know golf courses are back open. And a golden baggy might be awaiting you when you hit the links again, which must be very nice.
Starting point is 00:30:45 But Jack, my heart and dollars have been lost. I've given Jack money to get me this thing. Jack has taken my money. You didn't promise? You didn't give it back. You made a promise to the listeners. Yes. And when Beardball is making a promise, we try and keep it.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Of course. We try our best. We make best endeavours to keep it. And course. We try our best. We make best endeavors to keep it. And you did say... He's the paper in play. You did say you would fulfill the big ask and his big ask. Like a genie, I suppose. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Like a one-wish genie. Or you'd have a very good reason. Now, I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. We have, of course, lived through a global pandemic and we continue to live through it. And funny you should say, because I actually found that time, very difficult to search. That's not true at all. You actually see. Right. Okay. So are you applying for some... That's the only thing you can possibly do.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Are you applying for some sort of excuse keeper program from the government where you would like to extend your searching time, search keeper program? Because it has been just a generally weird time. Hasn't it just turned everything upside down? It has. Okay. Can I just pause both of you there with your collaboration? As soon as we walked in the studio today,
Starting point is 00:32:02 I said, how have you been, Jack? He goes, I've actually loved, I saw, right, putting on a bright face. Good on you, mate, because we have to. We have to. What use is there in sucking? I've actually loved it. Plenty of time to get in front of the computer. He can sit there and try and work this out.
Starting point is 00:32:18 The Bitcoin is online. You don't have to go anywhere. But on the computer, what were you looking at? Were you looking for the Bitcoin or were you trying to keep abreast of the ever changing health situation? Yep, I was. And the Bitcoin's not actually on the computer. I've written, I think I've written it down somewhere.
Starting point is 00:32:33 So it'd be in your house, the place you are. Maybe I really could have hidden it anywhere. That's true, you could have hidden it apart. Did you check your house? I didn't really have a look for it other than the places where I usually go like, so I could go. With that, Hamish jumping in. Is there any reason why you didn't really have a look for it other than the places where I usually go like soccer. With that, Hamish jumping in.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Is there any reason why you didn't check your house? Sounds like there is. Yeah, there is. Don't say anything. It sounds like it's correct. I don't know. It is correct. It's just been a weird time.
Starting point is 00:33:04 And now it's starting to resettle. Now I'll definitely have a weird time. And now it's starting to resettle. Now I'll definitely have a good time. Straight away today or soon. No, no, because I mean stage one, when we, you know, what stage one, I'm looking for the bathroom. Yeah, it's a stage one of like, like Sam's on March and says like, there will be three steps to get into getting.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Sounds like Jack's sort of following the government. And that's what we recommend. You're going to put them home. Yeah. Jack's looking at reopening. The investigation investigation. He had to shut everything was shut, and everything was shut, including investigations. Four weeks?
Starting point is 00:33:36 No. Well, I was kind of hoping like an international travel kind of like it might not be till next year. So when when hoodie stadiums are full again, that kind of era, there's, there's no correlation. It's just that no correlation to when we're, when mass, so crowds are when we can, we can play away the big ask is in players that we're saying. So it's been my slogan.
Starting point is 00:34:00 So we get the password. So when in full international travel or the trans Tasman bubble. No, I think it has to be. It has to be international travel for tourism purposes. Okay. Okay. And that includes New Zealand. So let's say I can do that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no of hear me's nodding, and he understands Jack's logic. So it seems like we have a good, in principle deal here. Did you have a big ask ready, Andy? I have a few ideas for my big ask. What I wanted to do is clarify on the big ask.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Is it a one-off event, the big ask, or could I say to Jack, hey, can you put my bins out for the rest of the year? I recurring, big ask, an automation. Yeah, I think it's It wouldn't be single-fade because the you go to work close to my house And you could always go and just on your way to work drop-by putting it out there. I would hate that Well, let's be let's be I don't think the big ask was ever gonna be something you would love It'll be like hey, I was wondering if you could go to Byron with your life this summer.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Was that be okay? The big ask is always going to involve an element of discomfort, Jack. And I'd say that as a beard boy and a mate, I believe Andy's... That'd be too much. Andy's trying to parlay some of the discomfort he's felt from losing thousands of dollars. Yes, exactly what I'm doing. And we'll mediated for a change. Sorry, until then, I've also been distracted by the pandemic.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Is that, or mediated, is that too big in us? Look, it's certainly something we will look into in this interim period while we wait for our... I just want to know what level of ask I'm a last flight to open up. What level of loud? We'd like, we probably, I'd probably, we'd like it to see. That's four times putting a bin out. What's it?
Starting point is 00:36:08 I'd like it to see, I'd like it to be more of a one big thing. So Jack can know that it's up in his plate. I would take the four bins probably. Well, okay. You just press it on the air. Maybe that's not it. That's not it. I just wanted to see where I am.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Okay. No, four bins was not the hell for. 52 bins. We're gonna, I guess we'll wait. I guess we'll wait. I guess we'll wait. We'll see, of course, in New Zealand, a Qantas Virgin could be back up and running across the Tasman that will not count. Jack wants to see planes going out of Oshiana.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Out of Oshiana, waiting. Good bye. To New Zealand. Indonesia, Bali, is that Oshiana? Yep. Is that still in Asia? The question, is that, is that Oshiana? That's one Oshiana, that not these days, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:36:46 I don't know, yeah so is... Right, anyway. I think you got me on a technicality there, well done. Well, that was an evident year. And before we finish, people will remember on last week's episode, we spoke to a young man at the end of the show who claimed that before he did a wee, he knew exactly how long it was going to last and seemed impressive.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Oh, I was 50-50. I sort of tabled it to you and then we dug a little deeper. And it turned out that it was— We gave him a bit of a pressure test on the conditions. We'd love to know how this works. Who's a taxi pressure test? Can we? Can we squeeze him wider a bit? a pressure test on the conditions. We're not gonna have this work. Who's timing it? Not a pressure test. Who? Yeah. Can we squeeze you bladder a bit? We investigated and then we found out that he wasn't using a phone or anything to time
Starting point is 00:37:34 with. He was doing misacipis on himself and he was writing down his predictions either. He was just sort of internally guessing the number, then counting to that number. Not scientific enough for us too many variables seemed like a closed loop eruptable system. So there was no double blind, it was all him, it was sort of like a North Korean science lab going, yes, all good, happy with the results, yeah, been through an event of time travel, but we're not showing you. So we're all right, that didn't pass muster, because of course, for someone to come
Starting point is 00:38:05 and test their special skill or at the moment sort of do it in a socially distance way we need to be significantly impressed. Yep. And it just didn't pass. Yep. The reason I give that preamble is I'm reticent to bring this to the table but there's been another year and airy based special skill that has come on my side of the fence. Right. And again, and the other reason I bring it up is to say, okay, well since we're in the mood of thinking about what is or isn't an impressive way skill, is Jackson's skill impressive. I've got the young man himself up online, Jackson, Halleyser. Oh, how are you?
Starting point is 00:38:39 Good. How are you going, boys? Oh, how are you, Jackson? Oh, Jackson, we are robust regulators at the moment before we related special skills. Now Jackson, you heard that. What was your opinion of the canning your own way in seeing how long it would go for? Impressed by that or not impressed by that? No, not particularly impressed to be honest.
Starting point is 00:38:58 No. It's just not quite up there. Good effort. It's a great beginner skill. And then a great, great option for someone to move to a higher level of you and Erie skill. Why don't you like the table today? What's your skill?
Starting point is 00:39:10 Well, I believe that I can tell you after I've weighed how much liquids just come out in millilators. To what degree of accuracy? Yeah. Well, usually within, what I'm on fire, usually within 30 meals maybe. As in plus or minus 15? Plus or minus 60. Oh, you mean plus or minus 30?
Starting point is 00:39:37 That's about 30 the way. So 60 meal band. OK. OK. Yeah. It's neither amazing nor terrible. It's probably, how do you know, Jackson, have you weighed into a beaker or scientific philosophy?
Starting point is 00:39:53 Well, I think what you're doing is weighing yourself out. You put foot, foot, foot. No, no, no. So we, we into a bucket or whatever. So you can't, you can't really tell how much is in there. I got your foot. And you guess, you know, that was 400mph. Pour that into a measuring jug.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Right. Right. And see how you've got it. It's like wet wild in your butt, bro. There's lots of different areas for the family to enjoy. Right. So that's the fun of the game. People have been teaching us how to wash our heads correctly.
Starting point is 00:40:22 I'm just a piece of beard. Very cool. So, peeing to a bucket, and then is it only once you see it in the bucket, do you know, is that using a visual gauge there, or do you just go by feel? No, the bucket's just there, so I don't miss. Bucket's there to catch the way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:39 They thank goodness for that. I hope that was from the outset rather than the actual period after initial testing. So, okay, I am interested in this one, but I feel like, how many mills come out normally? Ish, on average. An average wanted to be about 400 mills. Okay, so, No, not bus thing, not, you know.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Okay, so 30 mills, I've done a fail before. Is 30 mills either side of that, I'm impressive. So we're looking at close to 10, close to 10% of your side. Hmm. You want to refine that a little bit? Can we go, can we go, can we go 20 mils, flow saver nozzle one? Can we go 12, 20 mils either side?
Starting point is 00:41:24 Yes. Possum under 10. So that, that, Can we do a 12, 20 mils a side? Yes. Possum on a 10. So that, that, that, no, I reckon 20 mils a side. Sorry. Yeah, so plus or minus 20, so 40 mil area, which is exactly 10%. Is that impressive with them 10%? Yeah. Jackie, you impressed by that?
Starting point is 00:41:37 Yeah, I mean, I mean, I mean, I'm sorry. Jackie, in the end, Jack's on on the phone. Yeah. If you think of a 20 mils is a shot glass ride, so if you think of that being the air, that doesn't feel like much. Are you thinking about shutting Jack's week? You are now.
Starting point is 00:41:54 I reckon 20 mils either side is fair. Yeah, at least a less than a shot glass. I reckon, would you be up for that, Jackson? Yeah, definitely. We'd only test you once. I don't know if we can wait around all day. Yeah, we'll be at the start of once. Yeah, it'd be best at once.
Starting point is 00:42:13 And if you get it, you get a coin. How accurate is your measurement? Because I've got a measuring jug at home that you use for baking or whatever. The slashes on the side, I mean, they go by 50 mils kind of thing. Do you have a I really want one of those very very long, yeah, high back tubes, a high back that you see in the United Science class. Yeah, that's access to a long high tube. That's not what I use, but I can do. What do you use, Jackson? Just the standard one later that you'd use in the kitchen. I have not.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Yeah. Do you live? Who do you live with, Jackson? Just my girlfriend. Yeah. I bought it specifically for this. Wow. Well, I mean, we should do this in the start, but where did the
Starting point is 00:42:57 Genesis of this come from? What made you decide to abandon the toilet? You use a bucket to start measuring it? I just, you ever just wonder how much, how much come out? I do. And that's why I would like to do this test. Well, Hey, mission I did wonder. We, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, so shall we? I mean, I'd like to see, we can't do it in person at the moment. Can we? No. Not that I want to see him do it, but I'd like to be there for the measuring.
Starting point is 00:43:29 It seems 10. Would your girlfriend, uh, be an impartial judge, you reckon, if you poured it into the jug and she could do the reading for us? Yeah, she's not real happy, but she'd probably be able to do it. Hmm, I can understand. And hesitation. I'm sure there are things around the house that probably need you doing. We will organise how to pull this off.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Yep. So just match if you lose, but if you win, you keep that and you win a coin. We'll come back to you. Absolutely. So a lot to play for for you. We'll come back to this. OK, mate. Stand by.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Hi, thanks. Listener.
