Starting point is 00:00:00 A LISTENUP PRODUCTION Activate your internet Cause the Hamish and the Podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering 1 Oh, what are you, Ham? What's up? On my right, everyone. If you wanted to visualize it, oh, what do you, Ham? Oh, my sir, on my right, everyone. If you wanted to visualize it, oh, do you, Jack? Hello from the left.
Starting point is 00:00:30 He's on the left. And where does that place mean? If you're in year four and you want to fun Max or Geometry Quiz? We'll wait. Jack, we can't wait, and don't. We'll see. Big shake, and we'll see, because we've got pizza a lot of intel or something. We haven't thought of it in a while.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Not often we do the old teas. Oh, you know, oh, we've got a big shake coming up, because we assume you'll listen to the end. Yes, but actually, right in, that comes from that type of time. Did you like the contents read out? Yeah. Was that what it is? No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:01:01 I mean, to be honest, in radio days, that's one I once said, more time, to be what's coming up, then actually one I want. And more time, J.B. What's coming up, then actually getting to it. Because you need to fill. Yeah. You know, pink only spoke to you for two minutes. Yeah, exactly. So it's better off to talk for four or five hours about A.G.P. coming up.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Yeah. And then you're plating grabs and talking between it, because you only got pink for two minutes. And we should point this. I mean, we might go back to radio one day. Oh, who's the trick? Who knows? So I'm disclosing a trick here, but it is one of our favorite things to listen to in radio when you'd often talk to someone before the show.
Starting point is 00:01:30 You get 10 minutes with them, but then you need to make that into like 20 minutes of radio. And the classic, you just insert the ending of, you know, you've had a bit of a laugh and you do a bit of, that's great pink. How'd I hang on the line for us there. We've got always pink. Yeah, just always put it off afterwards. And I mean, you wait, you talked for four minutes and then
Starting point is 00:01:51 after the fact we insert a great stuff pink stick around here. And then all right, there we go. Guys, it's, you know, you're listening to music news. Still got pink on the line. Pink, assuming the same tempo of voice and if you haven't been waiting for six minutes, pick up exactly in the middle of that story you were just saying.
Starting point is 00:02:12 It's that classic twist with an X. Yep. A hoi-to-deen in Texas. Oiboys, Dean here in Sulphur Springs, Texas. I'm just procrastinating and putting off work by browsinghamishanandie.com. Thought I'd drop you online. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:02:30 A couple of things to give you a heads up about. First of all, my wife who lived with me in Australia for a number of years before we moved out here, she says the best two things about Australia, a sweet chili sauce and Hamishanandie. So who are you guys? You boys probably feel pretty good about yourselves. We're hearing that.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Secondly, I've got my father-in-law onto the Hamish and Andy podcast. He's a 60-something year old, big Texas man with a voice-like barbecue sauce, and he quite enjoys the podcast. He listens to it every day on his way to and from work. He works in Paris, Texas, where I know you've had some adventures recently,
Starting point is 00:03:06 but unfortunately, I haven't seen the most recent adventures because I can't find a way to get Hamish and Andy's perfect holiday here in the US. I don't wanna get on the deep dark web to have to, you know, download those video files, but if you give me a heads up of a simple way to do that, it would be much appreciated. Thanks boys.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Hey, he's gonna have to get on the deep dark way. You're gonna be being. The VPN's not dark web. Yeah. Well, no, you're gonna have to hide your IP address. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Various portal network. You need one of those.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Gee, a lot to unpack there. It was, wasn't it? Two source references, you can, that was a little bit. Or do you reckon after you talked about sweet chili sauce, then when he was talking about his father and morning, so he's got a voice like, and he's brain just up and up and up and you type of sauce. Do you think?
Starting point is 00:03:50 I know sweet chili sauce. I don't think we can claim that either. That's another thing I want to bring up. Isn't that South Asian type? Definitely. Condomin. Definitely don't think we can claim that as an Australian invention in the same way we're claiming Vigie might.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I know we have it readily available. But can we claim a DMCM? Can we? Australia, the DMCM was invented in Australia. Huge claim. Yeah. Jackie, you scared to insane, you think? Jackie, you still got to get in trouble.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I wish that I was on the other side of the talk. You are. I can't just see you doing facial expressions like you're a guest that hasn't been introduced yet. You don't feel fake. You're checking his. I can't just see you doing facial expressions like you're a guest that hasn't been introduced yet Things of shoulder shrugs and I just agreed I didn't have anything further to add It's pretty sour. It doesn't feel Australian to me. I didn't have anything else to add around Was getting distracted by the panda my all try and stay still
Starting point is 00:04:46 Jackson getting distracted by the bad divide. I'll try and stay still. No, Jackson, don't be nervous. You know what I mean? But just be vocal. I was putting me off like, like, and when there'd been a memo that you'd been told not to, not to be as vocal as you'd been. On your radio show, just before we get into what we need to talk about, on your radio show with Christian O'Connell,
Starting point is 00:05:01 wonderful breakfast show in Melbourne, Christian O'Connor Breakfast Show. I have there times where Christian goes, I'm doing all the talking here, and you have to pretend like you're not here. No, no, there's not strictly that, but sometimes he hits a groove, and I can tell that it's a Christian groove and I'll say that.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Maybe that's what we were saying, that's what I'm wondering, I think we're seeing Jack in that muscle memory now going, oh, you know, let him dance. Let him dance in the middle. And I'll clap my hands on the outside. Yeah, I'm one of the people making up the circle. Yes, it's your dance. And he's excited because you're like the longer you're dancing, I don't have to dance. That's exactly, I think we're giving Jack too much credit. He was chewed out.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I've seen he screams. He's probably browsing something online. I've seen you chewed out when I've seen you tune out when I've got and watched you do the show. I've been on your show, the Chris show, I've seen you tune out. I can hear it now when you're tuning out. We always catch up the day before doing the podcast for a video call. Even if you haven't turned up. Maybe we're seeing a bit of a month of tuna. It truly is a hobby. Jen, Jack, see.
Starting point is 00:06:09 What which one? Like, is this the hobby? Is that the hobby? Am I tuning out of this? Am I tuning out of that? I don't worry about it. I don't worry. It's just anything you do outside of home is a hobby.
Starting point is 00:06:19 What we're on the top of your jacket and don't... And you know how I hate to do to do this, because this year we have built a soft alliance as the beard boys. But you've rocked the alliance a little bit lately with some of the little bit. Big advantage. The king came to me and we were going to a short-term collaboration to do a dance. I discovered a conspiracy. I mean, I didn't feel like that was operating with another gang. short-term collaboration to do a dance. The end. I discovered a conspiracy.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I mean, I didn't feel like that was operating with another gang. I felt like that was just a dance with somebody. It was a secret dance. It was a secret done. It was going to be unveiled on a day when you know that I would have believed we were all coming with individual talents.
Starting point is 00:07:00 And you knew that the unveiling, there would have been a shock element to go, well, there's been a conspiracy. I certainly felt that I was portraying him a bit. And I think that's what I think. If you should know it, then that went through and into the dance. So you've been loyed into a dance under false pretenses. So the beautiful eyes of the lines have been rocked a little bit.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Yeah. And so I had to throw you under the bus, but the relationship between us are a little bit rocked. It's a bit China, Australia. I'm probably China in this situation bus, but the relationship between us are a little bit rocket, and it's a bit China or Australia. I'm probably China in this situation. I feel like we're powerful, big. Well, I feel like I'm a very valuable trading partner to Jack, the drum kit, the bike that we talked about,
Starting point is 00:07:36 the other thing you got stolen off me. I think I gave you an old computer monitor of mine. I mean, the list of generosity has been long. Bedsheets, only just recently throughout those bedsheets, you gave me 10 years ago. I gave you data sheets. So, and if I'm correctly assessing the beef between China and Australia at the moment,
Starting point is 00:07:54 it's the China just things would be uppity. Just like, no, not really appreciating the relationship we have. No gratitude. Yeah, no gratitude being a bit, just being a bit flippant with the relationship. And flippant's probably the right word to use because we discussed recently that Jack is working
Starting point is 00:08:08 on a backflip. Yes. And we both pledged to not watch him do a backflip. I want to publicly warn you and I on the show, I'm gonna make you aware of some of the actions Jack is taking. I mentioned to him during the week, I swear to God mate, I'm gonna do everything I can not to see you doing that backflip. And he sends me a video going, oh, so I guess this,
Starting point is 00:08:30 you wouldn't be watching this. Of course, I didn't watch it, but it looks like he is with some sort of backflip coach on a trampoline or something, learning how to backflip onto a crash map. All right. Were you doing that while we were meant to be doing the meeting? No, what were you, I can tell you this, Since I told you about the backflip, I have had no backflip training. What I said to you when I sent you the video of the backflip is, oh, what a shame that I did this before you knew about it. What a shame I did this and I wasted the time learning a backflip, which I'm not doing anymore. No, we know you're going to try and make a switch backflip.
Starting point is 00:09:06 So this is must be so what did you send to him? Oh, I did have backflip training at one stage. With Ryan, thank you Ryan, who listens to the podcast, reached out. No, no, no, not rushing in. He's a feeling. He's putting us in back flips. I was before it was revealed, what talent we were going to do at the end of the year. Mine is a flip. Before it was revealed, I started my flip training.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Then, on the show, you said you would never watch the back flip. We won't. And we won't. Then, that week, Hamish sent me a photo of a backflip and said, oh, is this what you're trying to do? No video of a backflip. And I sent back, I was a guy doing a triple backflip.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I said, I hope yours is gonna be as good as this. I was talking like that. So I sent back a video that had been previously taken when it was all a secret of me doing a backflip onto a crush mat during the training with Ryan. All right. And I said, what a shame that I went through this, but now I'm not doing it anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Yeah, I mean, all of that I don't contest. What I'm saying to Andy is be careful because he's sending around videos of him doing backflip stuff. If you do a double backflip, I watch it. Well, no, I'm not doing any backflip, but if I do do, if I do, if I do, I'm not going to learn at the end of the year,
Starting point is 00:10:23 I'll be a single backflip and you will see it. Well, what a learning. This is what I'm trying to say at the end of the year, I'll be a single back flip and you will see it. Well, what a, this is what I'm trying to say to you, Andy, just be careful because Jack now has shown me that he will stoop to digital warfare and he will send videos. He might send you an attachment going, this is important for the bug us. If we can close the video. Hey, check this out.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Oh, look at this. Look, I, I, I, I know this money Christian O'Connor my top fell off or some sort of suggestive clip mate. It's like a Rick Roll. Yeah, that's gonna flip Roll. I'm gonna hire someone to read every, every bit of correspondents that comes in Jack. Jack. I'm gonna, it's like, to me now you,
Starting point is 00:10:54 you have the aura of like a Wild West villain, Flippin' Jack. Yeah. Who you gotta watch out for, you like, he's stories of Flippin' Jack. Yes. Like, you know. Well, put your guard down for now. No, I can't, I can't. He's because I can't even,
Starting point is 00:11:05 if I was doing the flip anyway, if I was still training, I won't be able to do one for at least three months. So don't worry now. It seems like a long time to learn a flip. No, how can you do it in real quick? The flip is not easy to learn, no. I appreciate when I did a flip on the radio show.
Starting point is 00:11:19 That was on a trampoline. This is gonna be off fresh ground. I'll flip before jack. I like this. I won't before Jack. I like this. I like this. I'll watch you. I'll flip before Jack. I'll flip before Jack. I'll flip before Jack.
Starting point is 00:11:34 If there's ever been suspicious words spoken, there can be no greater suspicious words spoken than put your guards down. There has never resulted in guards being lowered, nor shallower today. I have a lot of people have been emailing at Hamisherry.com asking to play this game. This is so exciting to have it back. Should we do the opening hour, discuss the hats? Think we do the opening, then we do the hats.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Okay. It's been a while since I've thought about Gerard Deford, you. Yeah. And it's been a while since I've seen them. Yeah, I haven't thought about Gerard Deford do this year. I don't think I have. No. He went a bit, he did something weird politically. I think he renounced, did he renounce his French citizenship or something in protest and moved to Switzerland?
Starting point is 00:12:30 Yeah, so I thought about him last year when he was up to that. I thought about him nonstop. But then, times change, world moves on, things happen. And you stop thinking about Gerard Dippardieu. Do you hear a younger listeners know who Gerard Dippardieu is? I think you'd know of him. It's like we know, you know, Clark Gable. I wouldn't be able to name his films,
Starting point is 00:12:47 but I know he was a famous old-timey actor. Yep. So yes, I'll give myself a pass there. Okay. For a famous French actor, Green Card was his big film. Big US film, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Yeah, I'm in him. The game, of course, is, tell us some, and we haven't thought of in a while, the rules, just in case you don't know. You say someone, we have to honestly tell you if we've thought of them this year. If you do name someone we haven't thought of this year, you can win yourself. Ah ha. You have three hats you can play for today.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Some have appeared before in the segment. Very excited about the top one, very, very special. You won't, I'll just quickly brush over the ones that have appeared before. You've got your BPate hat. That is, I don't know how to Velcro back, not my favorite. Um, but it is an embroidered BPate, it's navy, it's a bit of a white D-cam. It's slightly not brand new, because I think they said it when they sponsored the show a year ago. Yeah, yeah. So they might even have a new logo by now.
Starting point is 00:13:37 But if you are a fan of easy online payments and you'd like to wear the BPate, with pride, that is a fully embroidered logo. Sometimes we do see an iron on, so not the worst quality you can have. No. Designs the problem. Designs the quality's fine. Looks a bit like they've gone for a sporty design. You know, they've put the speed stripes on the side.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Yeah. Really, really basic hat here, plain black, again, an embroidered what if. What's the latch at the back, logo? Lava Velcro. Velcro. Again, I actually all three of, La Velcro. I can't have too much of a go. Again, I actually all three of them are today, so I can't have too much of a go. But that'd be a problem with Wayne's World's hat. Yeah, well, there you go.
Starting point is 00:14:11 I mean, the Wayne's World hat. I know your girlfriend Beck loves her, Zander. Yes, your I've got to apologize. What is missing? It probably is. Well, it was meant to be the communal pile because when we're doing the shows at my house, Beck went down and said, I love this hat
Starting point is 00:14:34 and she's been wearing it nonstop. She's a great ambassador for the organization. 100% cotton. Beautiful quality on the hat there, made in China. I would have loved the different latch, but that's okay. It is Velcro, maybe you don't hate it as much as I do. We have four lines of stitching on the peak. That's neither too many nor too few. I don't think you'll find the fabric coming off the peak.
Starting point is 00:14:54 It's a good hat. It is the peak of a liver, but you might have a special affinity to be pay or what if we won't push you in either direction. Sorry, Navy blue. And of course, the Wayne's World logo is we all know in yellow. Yeah, not the film. Oh, how are you? Actually, I'm a holly join just a holly. Hi, how are you going? Very good, holly. You'd be, I mean, I did not get bother asking you what how you be going for, but just tell us anyway. Definitely Wayne's world. We all know you. We all know you. For our on Wayne's world, we have notices a few other Wayne's worlds around. Did we mention this on the show before? Did I just see an email?
Starting point is 00:15:30 A welding company. Wayne's weld. Oh, that's good. Is out there too. So if they want to send us a hat, we'd be more than happy to accept that. Holly, tell us when we haven't thought of for a while. Don Ed Hardy. Don.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Remember in the early 2000s, the Ed Hardy fashion brand? Oh, Ed Hardy. Yeah, right. I didn't know it was started by Don Ed Hardy. I know, either did I until I googled it. So there is a bit of a gray area often in the contest here where you can't not think about something you weren't aware of. You have to have thought about them then stop thinking about them.
Starting point is 00:16:02 So we will accept Ed Hardy, the fashion brand. Yeah. I have. I have. I have. I have. I don't know why, but I think Tommy Little said something. Oh, mine was that Beck and I were going through the ridiculous fashion hats. It was actually hat based fashion when Von Dutch came out originally and they were $130 a cap. Yeah. I can't remember if I either saw Tommy Little stand up and he mentions Ed Hardy as a hat. Or if it was a person conversation I had with him, but his name is coming up in association with Ed Hardy. I think in a joking way I should point out,
Starting point is 00:16:35 I don't know, people thinking that Tommy, Tommy, public facing his other on the project or he's in a crafty shirt with cool tats and then privately he wears a lot of Ed Hardy. It's not the rumor I want to start. Holly, thank you. Good suggestion. Really good, Holly. Okay. Jacqueline, oh, how do you, Jacqueline? Hi, boys. How's that, Andy?
Starting point is 00:16:55 I need to. Good on you, Jack. Who haven't we thought of for a while? Mrs. Cabuple from The Census. I haven't. Oh, yeah, I mean, I've been watching a favourite of the Simpsons on Disney Plus. Sorry, Jack. I mean, I've gone back early to shoot the game. I know that's the fun of the game, Jack. It's crubbubble throughout the game. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:17:20 but she throughout the whole series. Great question, because what I meant to be doing on Disney+, is did he catching up in that sort of season 15 to current day patch that I'm fell off the scene? Is Crebuffle just threw the whole thing? Because she was very prominent in early seasons. I really only know the pre- like season 10 episodes, and she's all the way through that. She is, okay.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I mean, that's the golden era. Mike, you've been to this stuff. Mike, is this Crebuffle in the whole, all I thought he's written a note. I didn't even know he had this. The voice actor is Marcia Wallace passed away in 2013 and the character was retired. Great. Back to Mike. Checkland's still on. Did you still enjoy the fun of the game? This is great. Well, thank you, Jack. Good good good stuff. Dylan, well, no, no wonder. We Well, thank you, Jack. Good good good stuff. Dylan. Well, no, no wonder we had a thought you won't you won't you if you're if you're only just gone into the Simpsons recently and started at season 20. Yep. Yeah, we're never know idea Dylan. Oh, I
Starting point is 00:18:15 I had thanks a lot. Very good. Dylan tell us when we haven't thought of for a while? Ah, the duo, the fly to the Concord. No, sorry. Sorry. Listen to their live in London and the car the other day. Yeah, they're also one of the prominent, when you're flying back when we're allowed to fly, on Quantus, they're one of the prominent in the entertainment. Oh, they're live in London's there.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Yeah, they would be. Sorry, do that. I'm also, I'll say, I mean, you're not to know this, but I, Brett is a friend of mine. I, he messaged me last week. So, I mean, one of the, uh, very, one of the very few times that I could just go and go really hard to mess, hard to message someone and not think of them. It was much of a delay. Sorry, Dill.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Uh, Mitchell, don't want to, I mean, the, I thought the hats, the, the, the veins would have would be terribly gone by now. Mitchell, how thought the Wains would be tearfully gone by now. Mitchell, how do you? How are you fellas? Happy birthday Andy. Tell us when we have a throttle for a while. So we're going into 90's, just serial mascot. The King Willie Wheatie.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Oh, that's a heaven for him for a while. Willie Wheatie, full of fruit and nuts if you go to the fruit and nut variety and packs of wheat. I have not thought of King Willie. Wee-T I I haven't either. I can't You're with her. You're with her. You take us back through King Willie. Wee-T
Starting point is 00:19:37 The way you still though? I don't know. You can get around the same ones. You had a cereal box? columns. He had a cape, didn't he, and a staff as well. He had the full King's outfit. I wouldn't go to the King's called a cape, though, do they? He gets a King's cape. Is it a gown or a... Maybe a cloak?
Starting point is 00:19:57 A cloak? Yeah. But he was a benevolent King from what I remember. It was a generous King, like to I remember. It was a generous king. I went to his subjects. Yeah, he never attacked him. He was a weighty. He was a weighty himself, wasn't it?
Starting point is 00:20:10 He was. And so in one sense, a benevolent king, but in another sense, he knows all his peasants are being off to the Eaton. And he himself was never eaten. Mitchell, what had to you want? Oh, I heard there's a Wayne's World hat. I'm also, so that's pretty good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Well, that's what it's my choice. You've got the ones I love, which is devastating for George who joins us now. Oh, hi, George. Hi, boys. Yeah, Wayne's World hats go on. You've got the B pay hat or the what if hats still evolve. I would go the what if, but, um, uh, uh, mate, tell us someone we haven't thought of in a while.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Uh, have you thought of Christopher's case? Yeah. Oh really? Haven't what do you think what you think in a scacy? What's going on? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Bit of an insight into Andy's mind here. Man who's obviously often thinking about funneling funds offshore and where would be a nice place to hide from the government. Must be nice. Must be nice to spend our days thinking of tax havens and dodging paying our fair share must be very, very nice.
Starting point is 00:21:15 No, no. It's not nice. Oh, and he was thinking of him as he was putting up a bronze statue of Christa Viscayne in his circular driveway to pray for him each morning. No, I was explaining to Beck, he was here as well. No, I was explaining to Beck there was a series of kind of like famous billionaires that were ripping people off back in the day. It's stemmed from us seeing where, when I was in New Zealand, the Australia two, this year, January, the Australia two,
Starting point is 00:21:51 and well, actually the New Zealand yacht is there for the America's Cup. And then we started talking about Australia two with the winged keel. And so you're going. That started the Ellen Bond. Bond. And then it went out to the sky.
Starting point is 00:22:03 We. Yeah. Yeah. You're just sort of wistfully looking to And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face.
Starting point is 00:22:11 And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face.
Starting point is 00:22:19 And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then it went into the face. And then because they were trying to expedite him back to Australia and he's not sick, he's not being died. Eventually. And so that is a great way to clear out the situation. That's right.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Well, for the heroes, you'll get that second golf simulator, and I'll go on. Please get you being here for the stacks on George. Please hang up on him, Jack. LAUGHTER And I've been working on a project to solve a problem for us. Great. It's a problem that comes up a bit, Jackie, you're involved in this too, but for reasons that will become, obviously, I'm directly mostly this at Ando.
Starting point is 00:23:00 It's, you know, I mean, even pre-COVID, which presented its own sort of host of issues with this era that I'm talking about, we've sort of encountered this for a couple of years of the podcast has been going. The issue I'm talking about is of course our dollar offer to people when they see us in the flesh. We run the reverse prescription, say, hard of us, you get a dollar. Now over the years, cash has become less common for us to have in our pocket. Jack was ahead of the curve.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Jack was ahead of the curve. It's less common we have a dollar coin. So I've been thinking of this, okay. We never ever ever want to let down less now. You know, it's their birthright to get that dollar from us. Yep. This is something that happens from time to time, is we're finding ourselves more and more going,
Starting point is 00:23:43 yeah, look, not carrying cash. What can we do to solve this? I have come up with a solution and I have put in the form of an exciting ad to tell you of the new thing that has been invented. I've recorded my bit, but it's more of like one of those conversational ads. So there's some gaps here for you to...
Starting point is 00:24:02 I've got to fill it in. Well, just react naturally. Okay. It's good news. for you to fill it in. Well, just, naturally. Okay. It's good news. Hey Andy! Yeah, him. I said, hey Andy! Yeah, I replied.
Starting point is 00:24:12 That's more like it. Now I've got your attention. Listen up! The UUP set by the number of times you get stopped for a dollar in the street, but you don't have a dollar. Yes. It's certainly the dollar bit, not having the dollar. Are you so upset it makes you cry?
Starting point is 00:24:28 No, I've never come to... Well, drive those tears, champ, because your old bad aim has once again invented the perfect solution. Hooray! Hip-Hip! No. Thanks, using my skills at accessing the join account, I have been able to free up some of our money to purchase something very useful want to hear more No, I don't and I don't know how you got the access as well at the wall
Starting point is 00:24:54 You got it no longer where you have to walk around the streets without a dollar because now you will have a Custom minted and not cheap I owe you one dollar coin on you at all times What I think that's pretty good. Yeah, no What Andy in real life? I'm now showing you the coin. What do you think? Yeah, it's a coin. I owe you a dollar You're probably noticing the quality of the coin might I say you've got a good eye sir Yes, they're not cheap coming in well over one dollar per coin. But can you really put a price on the convenience of never being without a coin again? It was a cheaper solution I could think of. Alright, high five bud. Well, I forgot the other
Starting point is 00:25:40 thousand for the record. No, I didn't give a high five. Jack, check him out. What are you reckon? Why would you go? Oh, very cool. How convenient is this? Fill your pockets with these before you leave the house. And you're just handing it. Sorry, don't have a dollar. Here you go. I owe you one dollar. Yes. And then what, when do they exchange this? Well, when we get a dollar back on it, so I suppose they come back and exchange this token back to us. Yeah, I'll just show it to us. I suppose they can keep both.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Well, no, because the value of this is over a dollar. Well, I can get a man any cheaper. But my point is, I'd prefer to have it back off them for the dollar. Well, that's it, it's dingy. I mean, I asked for a much lower price than they gave us, but they said no. I wasn't even aware that I did ask, because to me, because they're about $7.00 a coin. So I was like, well, you know, they're not $7.00 a coin. Oh, yeah, not including just see.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Yes. Do you say $100,000 of them? I said $1,000. So $7,000 of them. I said $1,000. $1,000. Well, you're mumbling, so I'm rewinding the conversation. No, you realised the whole loyalty card to rempose at the moment because we're in the whole front.
Starting point is 00:26:57 I started this world before that. I was to be fair to me. When you were talking about how sad you were about all the money during the loyalty card expense blowing up, which was no one's fault. I was thinking of this as well going, oh, these coins are coming down the pipe and he's not going to be happy about this. But then I remember you would be happy about it because think of the joy people are going to get when you're able to handle a IOU $1 coin.
Starting point is 00:27:23 You're lucky I didn't buy the slightly bigger $10 coin that was I was gonna get an IOU and IOU $1 coin for the times we didn't have these on it. But they were coming in around the $10 mark and I thought, you know what? We can't just blow all the joint account money. You've got to have some sensible fiscal responsibility. So that's it, fill your pockets and free your mind of any worries
Starting point is 00:27:47 from now on. What do you reckon, J? I feel really cool. It feels like a real coin. Yep. That's a dollar coin. Yeah, but $7 is not really worth it. Well, what else we meant to do? Not do it. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:28:06 I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:28:14 I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I can see you know what you hear. For you hear to guess the weight of raw food as you stated on a previous episode, you're staring at the pumpkin. Try not to think about it too much, baby. You got overwhelmed by the pumpkin when you walked in, didn't you? Oh, I used to work at a fruit shop, so... Oh, maybe she was. Maybe she was underwhelmed by it. No, I'm appreciating. I'm appreciating that.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Appreciate it. It's a lovely specimen. And do you prefer everyone at home? But in the Buddenut, yes. She knows. Not the game. All over. It's not the game. Picture pumpkin species.
Starting point is 00:28:51 It's probably only about four that are readily available. And but it's nice to know that you straight away knew it as a peanut and you will know how much they weigh. Um, the, we spoke to you on the phone for people who are going out of order of the podcast. We wouldn't recommend it. We don't recommend it. We don't recommend it.
Starting point is 00:29:06 We'll go back to one. We'll see you in a few months here when you're ready. But page you can guess accurately guess the weight of any raw food. We didn't decide how many grams either side of kind of error you're allowed. Yeah, I was going to. I'm going to ask that. Okay, so what do you think? What do you think? Knowing now what we're looking at, and you will notice here I have a salad bowl full
Starting point is 00:29:30 of raw pasta, angel hair. We know pasta comes in 400 gram lots. So you sort of already have an idea, don't you? The range it's going to be in. I mean, you're not going to accidentally guess 10 kilos for the whole pasta. Are we saying 10 grams either side is too generous, have, or is that about right? No, I think that's about right. With 10 grams either side. Yeah, I'm happy with that.
Starting point is 00:29:55 So an error rate of 20 grams. Yeah. Plus or minus 10 grams. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Well, Hamish has got scale set up in front of him. He's got a selection of raw food that he'll name as we go through You're ready page. Yeah, let's get into it This is the one I'm guessing the weight of the food I'm uncomfortable with this girl Like there's no need for scales When page pulls her special move So what is the way? Jack knows, Jack's having a knowing laugh.
Starting point is 00:30:33 But you know very well, Rianna. I was my fault. Oh, you got a great idea and I tried my best, but Jack, you know as someone that writes music. And you've seen a lot of these songs, the intros. Obviously Andy come up with the last line, which I think works. But then it's like, is it worth sitting through all the first, the first four lines for the payoff of the last line? No, it was interesting to see it was only hardly a sentence in before you already got
Starting point is 00:30:58 uncomfortable and started apologizing for how bad it was. I was just remembering before I recorded it. Right, remember. Walking on a marshy studio going, oh, that's not good. I got the timing right, but I don't know. I don't think the timing was right. That's true. And again, not a popular enough song. It's a bad choice for me.
Starting point is 00:31:17 It would be great to see Rihanna do it live. I mean, I think if we all went to see Rihanna, we would be working on it. But we are saying more than GeoTarming was on. We were so much more fun than that. But also the real winner out of that is Rihanna. Because everyone's like, she must be good. She's so good. If not even Hamish and Andy.
Starting point is 00:31:33 I can't see it perfectly. But anyway, the gist of the opener remains, which is... Is that your mum out there? Yeah. That's so lovely. I just know this. She loves you guys. I'll pet her mum. What's your mum's name? Karean.
Starting point is 00:31:48 I'm like, I was gonna say, it's got a bit of my mum vibe about her. And your mum's name's Karean. My mum's name's Karean. It's Kameka, the same name. Yeah. Okay, great I'm in. I hope.
Starting point is 00:31:58 I'm glad you've bought a supporter base because when there is triumph, obviously in these situations, great to have someone to run out and leave your hands off. Exactly. And also nice like any kid attempting sport, or you're a woman, you're a grown woman, but the drive home with a parent telling you
Starting point is 00:32:15 it's not all about winning a new fit. Oh, that was mum and dad was the one that you should be like, you didn't win. So that's why I brought mum. Mum, there'll be a life lesson no matter what. How many items you got over there, him? I've got spaghetti, I've got a pumpkin, I've got two apples, I've got an, a tray of timetown.
Starting point is 00:32:33 So four, and we're expecting page. I think we were in page two, three out of four for a coin? Three out of four. Okay. We're going to start with a handful of spaghetti. I don't even know how much this would cost. Oh, sorry, how much this was worth. What, what do you reckon? Can she see it there? Does it want to make handful of spaghetti. I don't even know how much this would cost. Hmm. Oh, sorry, how much this was worth.
Starting point is 00:32:46 What? What are your records? Can she see it there? No, I can't see it. Um. They're dial. I think. I'm sorry, we've set the scales up so I can only see the dial.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I think that that... ...290. Maybe. ...300. And... Oh! That's 12! Which we all know from the number system.
Starting point is 00:33:12 That's two more than 10. Two grams off. That's pretty good. Yes. I mean, if anything, I go great. You're in the zone. Exactly. That is a horrific loss you you you you you swam all world record but looked up and someone else swam one just but just not good enough. Wrong race to do it in. Okay. God. Angel hair is breaking
Starting point is 00:33:38 everywhere. If you go birth to an angel brushing her hair very nice very messy hair. Okay so Hamish there's two apples there. Right, don't put them on yet. I won't. What do you want? Why not? Because I'm worried that there's any two-hands that the page can see it. I don't think she can see it.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Okay, put all this girl. Okay, here we go. Two apples. What are they, ham, pink lady? No, Andy, I can't touch them now. They're on the scales, but I will get you the information. They're not that big. By the way, of course. They've got a green Andy, I can't touch him now there on the scales, but I will get you the information. I'll have to pick it up. Of course, I've got a green bus again.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Um, 260. Oh, this is not a setup. You saw me randomly take the handful before. 303 grams. Oh, basically. The same weight. I would not, if you put the apples and the angel hair logs side each other, I would not have said they are the same weight.
Starting point is 00:34:25 I agree. Would have been a wonderful subgame. Yeah. Yeah. Now it's for pride. Yeah. Now you're lucky dad's not here. I'm really lucky.
Starting point is 00:34:36 You've dad or I in the back and he's had against us. No, you'd be in the car. You'd be getting a tram home. I'm going to put, I'm going to put four Tim Tamms on. OK. Good. Amy, she to put four Tim Tams on. OK, good. Hey, me, she's getting four Tim Tams. They're on.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Which, I've stacked them up like you see high rollers stack up the planks when they're playing backer app. So it seems like a huge bet that I'm making here. I feel like they're 22 grams each. Wow. OK. So remember, just go off your gut, though. Go off what you're seeing rather than trying to you know game the system
Starting point is 00:35:07 Don't get too caught up in the maths of it just I'm gonna go 85 Oh, she's taking a couple of crates off the original late world on 75 I got it in the room. Oh, thank you. You did an exciting range. Which now brings us to the moment. The elephant in the room. But which I mean the butternut pumpkin.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Yes, it's the elephant because it's the biggest of the raw foods we've got. Here we go. You ready, Paige? Yep. She's coming on. OK. You can already see the scales straining
Starting point is 00:35:41 under the weight of that butternut. I'm going to say that's... 2... 2 kilo, 2.9. Oh, 2.9? Yeah, 2.9. The scales do go to 3 digital places. So, 3 decimal places.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Okay, 2.95. Hmm, you're moving in the right direction. 3.22. Damn it. Good call, Jack, before you do. You got one? Yeah, I know, that's hard. I was so concerned about being the Simpson guy. Having a look now at the pumpkin again. I'm trying to ignore what I said. What would you guess now? The same. Well, no, like, because I was like
Starting point is 00:36:30 twing with four in my head. Oh, all right. And then you went all the way to the 2.9. I'll move around a little bit now. What does that look like? Definitely looks like a 3.2. Yeah, she is good. So what would it have you worn off a little bit?
Starting point is 00:36:43 And then you really get zoned in interesting page We're gonna give you a token of no value Carry on you mum. Yeah carry on. We're gonna give carry out of token of no Thanks, guys. Thanks, guys. Hey, I'm LoverWinPaperContactus at thehamishney.com. Henry did just that. Put down his special skill. He knows exactly what Peter is coming out of the upper deck. So, how's that a kind of guy?
Starting point is 00:37:18 We could use to play our least successful but most exciting game. Peter Lotto. Henry, how are you? Hi, boys. Ihoi Henry. How did that say Andy? Good like, go to the captain's on the superior pain and same issue. Really appreciate that Henry. I'm trying to move on with my life. I'd like to be known for more, although one can't blame one for noticing superior already when they see it. So thank you, and we move on. Henry, can you give us a real life example when you have guessed the pizza correctly? I'm one to one from your first round of the game.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Also, you felt you knew her bread, which is huge. Okay, Henry, we'll call Pino now, who owns Pino's pizza area. What's it called? Zio Pino's. That's what it's called. Which I think means Uncle Pino's. Do it. Yeah. Okay. So we've got Zio Pino's, Pino himself, or Lance of the phone, he now knows what the situation is. He knows how to play. Oh Pino. Oh Pino. How are you, sir? Hey, how you doing? All right. It's him, he's an idiot. Hey, how are you? Yeah, you're good. Pino, we're very excited. We have a young man on the phone.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Okay, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me. Okay. Hey, Peno. Yeah. You never take a Tuesday off, do you? Never. Never. What day, do you have a day off at all?
Starting point is 00:38:37 Well, before you had nine, nine to moment. Nine to moment. What a workhorse. Brilliant style of Peno. Peno, we wanted to introduce you to Henry, sailor to Henry. Yeah, how are you? I better, how are you?
Starting point is 00:38:50 Hey, good, good, good, good. Okay, gentlemen, you know what to do. Don't tell us anything yet, Piano, we should probably go to play the music first, don't we? But let's get ready to play. When you're having a try to guess the pizza by that's a lot too. It's a lot too. It's a lot already to go. It did.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Hey, no, Kais, just a yes or no question. Yeah. Is there a pizza in the oven? Yeah. She's loaded. Okay. Here we go. We got a live pizza in the oven? Yeah. She's loaded. Okay, here we go. We got a live pizza in the oven. Henry, would you like to guess what the next pizza ready
Starting point is 00:39:32 out of Pino's pizza oven is? Go for it. I'm going to go root, supreme. It's gone with supreme. You got there. Oh my God! Yes! Henry is that a bitch! You got the Henry Henry, you hang on picking himself up the floor there. He's ecstatic quick question Henry, you knew you were playing today didn't you? Sorry? Yeah sorry, Piano one sec. Henry, you knew you were playing today, didn't you? Sorry? Yep. Sorry, Peno, once again. Henry, you knew you were playing today, didn't you?
Starting point is 00:40:07 Yeah, I did. Did you order a supreme pizza? No, I didn't. I was going, my original plan was to go no pizza. Oh, okay, so the pizza in the oven is not ordered by you. We've done our check. We've done our cheating check. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Thank you very much for playing, Peno. Okay, thank you. Have a good day, yeah. You've been so much. I'm the leader. I'm waiting for you to come here for a pizza, okay? We can't wait. We can't wait.
Starting point is 00:40:35 This is just traveling again. We're heading straight to see your Peno. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Congratulations. But I will do, Peno. You've got your fill for coin, Henry.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Sorry, I'm not just hitting the dinger. That's a wrong Ding and we're gonna order you a pizza that was the one of pizza you've won a coin Do you want a supreme or would you like another pizza? I'll go with the supreme and would you like?
