Starting point is 00:00:46 The drama the sweep and the stroke is this rowing Really close Dragon Dragon boat dragon boat racing. Well done. What's the dragon boat? Starting point is 00:01:32 So Mum never bothered about it? Well, so the other thing from University, remember, her mum was big on Dragon Boat and that all get together and Dragon Boat. Why did you bite that Dragon Boat in a dead moonboat in Melbourne? So, but when you got a pretty, anyone was it anyone under 45. I don't think so. He did it for his part of his work. He was, could he have been a Cox
Starting point is 00:01:52 would they have a Cox under Dragon Boat? He would be the sweet, which is what you are. I think he was. He's the sweet, the farmer, the farmer, the farmer, the farmer, the farmer, the farmer. And is the drummer to someone actually drum the, like facing the rest of us, and you being the drum to keep the tie at the timing Right and you've got to make sure that time is fine for everyone 45 to 75 years
Starting point is 00:02:13 It'll be slow beep. You're the sweep Jack. Oh, you're at the back of the boat and charges steering. Yep, and you say fathers two people on this boat along for the ride No wonder Everyone's g people on this boat along for the ride. No wonder everyone's gassed on the boat. What's going on? Usually the team coach is world jack, the sweep. So your dad must have been important to the dragon boat. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:02:32 And so what are you, you just one of the understriker guys, I'm just part of the run of the deal. I'm a little factory, you know. That's Jack, did you, does this change the way you thought about your dad's participation in the sport finance, he was just steering these no actually these middle-aged people I'm getting it not great for him if anything that he he was the
Starting point is 00:02:52 coach or he's like the leader of the the dragon boat he says that this heaths a people on board from memory yeah lots of lots of strokeers yeah yeah yeah where a diamond doesn't where I'm sitting there yeah I'm proud of my dad for that he should should be, by the way, if you've got any other occupations, I find them hard to find. So send them in, amrgda.com. I know you don't like the game.
Starting point is 00:03:12 You've tried to retire a few times. Yeah, and every time we start the podcast, don't you think there's a bit of like, I just want to finish it. Honestly, and though, we appreciate you sheltering the burden. You're a bit of the sweep of the team in that same store. I'm the store. You're the John Post, and we appreciate your shoulder in the burden. You're a bit of the sweep of the team in that same style. You're the John Post because we are,
Starting point is 00:03:30 so Jack and I know we're excited, aren't we? The mid boys are excited to see what fun guessing game might come up. And you're well over it. But I still encourage you to keep it up for at least the next couple of years. I think no. To the end of your year. No, no, to the end of this year.
Starting point is 00:03:45 No, no, no. No, it can't be a love thing. Which is another word you use for firing. We did learn that recently. No, I think it's barely mid-morning. I think the sun sets along my way. OK. Hey, Mishnani does one.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Because what are you going to replace it with? I'll think of something. I didn't love the saying hello in different languages. Okay, I'm not gonna go back. I'm not gonna go back. I was saying, thank you for the feedback. Keep the sun on that one.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Yeah. Keep that midnight. Yeah, that's what I just think it's, I think it's everyone, common like it's tough in podcasts, in the podcast game to start strong. And you've just had more hits than missing With these don't want you to put this in an early growth. Okay. Okay. I'll hoi also to Jeremy who went to Hamishney.com and Left little messages to what he's been up to
Starting point is 00:04:35 Oh, boys. I'm just checking in. I just wanted to say that today I've been severely disappointed by the podcast. I was coming down to Get a bit of free speed golf practice in and I had to sit through about five minutes of Andy just being quite rude and mean about it. I'm pretty upset. Yeah, well anyway, hopefully I can figure out how to upload this file in the next 12 months and you guys don't forget about this, but anyway, cheers.
Starting point is 00:05:02 I was don't forget about this, but anyway, cheers. Ah! The least friendly one. Frisbee into the, the wife thinks in anger. At the end of it. No, no, that's not a wife, hence, that's the hole in Frisbee golf. It's a bucket with chains hanging down. Jack gets it.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I've just golfed before, yeah. Seemed to win, so that's the hole. It seemed windy for Frisbee golf. Yeah, beautiful, go. It's like, like from his audio, it seemed like that had beenbee gold. Yeah, beautiful gold. Yeah, it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like,
Starting point is 00:05:28 I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like,
Starting point is 00:05:36 I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, I think it's like, like, I think it's like the end, it's the... Everyone, everyone that eats the chains. And the chains are there to catch the frozen
Starting point is 00:05:45 and it dangles into the... In the... Fuck it. Um... Um... ...cuff the leaf. I think if we actually went out and played disc golf that you would enjoy it,
Starting point is 00:05:55 your competitive nature would overcome you and you would actually get into it. We'll never find out. Love to take you on a boys disc golf trip. What? What? Um, hey, you a boy's disc golf trip. LAUGHTER Um, hey, you wanted the start of the show. Pack your frizzos.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Uh, guys, who here has the serial All Brand in their house? No. You got All Brand? No. I've recently got onto the All Brand. And I'm talking not the fun All Brand. There's several, it's been a while since I've... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:27 All-brand, if you did drag and brooding your head all... That would be a cheap spot. They probably put a big sack at the end. That's where everyone's going so fast. You're all trying to get that barrel of all-brand. Get to it. You're a drumming dude. Oh, I can't find her.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah, it's definitely. It's totally different people who... You know, regular. Regularity. Hearts of your body. Closed to your own due to old age. Digestive. Digestive.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Regularity. Well, you know, in your 20s, it's something of... You get permused. You might have caused it to be like, well, that wasn't a bad one. But as you get older, it becomes a critical part of aging. Anyway, I've gone, you look into it like, it is, there's not a lot of great ways to get, you can eat vegetables and leafy greens and things like that.
Starting point is 00:07:14 But as a way of getting fiber, all brand, you're like, gee, bang for buck, you get, you get your fiber in there. And, but they know, all brand knows, and it's always known. It's the least exciting of all the cereals. I mean, it can't be exciting. It's a box of sticks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And they could even call it a box of sticks. They could even call it a box of sticks. And it wouldn't do much, I think, to damage the brand. I mean, it's just not a sexy cereal. Is it cowlox? Cowlox. Yeah. Imagine if you just got, you got the job at cowlox,
Starting point is 00:07:43 you got the job at cowlox. Yeah, first aid cowlox. Well, what's my portfolio? come on cocoa pops? Yeah, because I've got a lot of ideas for that funny little monkey And I'm gonna do some great stuff with this now. We're gonna start you off just with all brand. No, I'm not a box Do it well funny you mention it because I reckon that's exactly what's happened with all brand, right? So we've got the box in the house, and I'm thinking this to myself going, she can't, there's nothing you can do with this,
Starting point is 00:08:12 really, marketing-wise. Since you and I did marketing at uni-anti, briefly, it's always sort of in the back of my mind that I go sliding doors, could've been me. Could've been me with the all brand account. And I look at the back and I go, what's all brand? I said, how do you feel the back of the box? Cause some kids here as you know, they might have a nasa or a game or whatever. Yeah. There's a lot of,
Starting point is 00:08:31 obviously, like a lot of stuff. I get a bit dragon boat racing. Yeah. About, you know, regularity and fiber and all the good things. fiber does. On the side of the box, this is what, this is what caught my attention. They're like, hey, download the VR game, the Kellogg's interactive VR game, and take a journey through the human intestines, and it's got a QR code, and it encourages you to download the all-brand VR game. I thought it was a little...
Starting point is 00:09:02 So follow me. No one has ever downloaded this game. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought it was a little bit more fun. I thought So here's the trick you got. I'm scanning the QR code. It goes right. Pretty simple. Download this file. And then you have to get a separate VR player.
Starting point is 00:09:33 And then load it onto your headset. This could be GTA 10 and it would be tough. Right? Like this could be a brand new call of duty. It's still this is difficult to do. Like you are creating serious barriers to entry here. Anyway, go through, jump through the hoods, just with a ring roll. I managed to get here a, I've done it. I've had it. You've done it. So you effectively took the front of me. I've got to be one of the allowed it to flow through
Starting point is 00:09:59 the barriers easily. I have got to be one of the only people on earth that's that's that's experienced this game. It's and it's more of and this is not a surprise like they're not trying no one was thinking no one no one was thinking hey you know what the games now have taken the cereal ditch the cereal like you know again no one was like oh do you know, again, no one was like, oh, do you know, yeah, Call of Duty was initially a granola, but the game got so big we just stopped making the granola. It was, it was doing the franchise they looked after itself. So I don't think there's any risk of that happening here with the all brand VR games, because it is more of a tour. It's a slightly interactive tour. Yeah, I would. So essentially,
Starting point is 00:10:48 if you'd go on to realestate.com and they give you a 3D walkthrough of the house, is that's what happens without someone going, it's my absolute pleasure to take you through the small intestine today. An entertainer's dream. Watch out for the boot. It doesn't have the intro to the video, but you go in a mini submarine. Okay, so you get shrunk down, and then it's you going through a human's digestive track to experience, I guess, the good work that all brand does. I've been out of get select bits,
Starting point is 00:11:16 just so no one else has to go through the ring roll. Got a few select bits here. This is the start where you get into your submarine. And they're away. the micro shrinking actually worked. Oh, I'm Sally by the way. The one who'll be guiding you through the human gut. Initiating digestion sequence. You're going to love this.
Starting point is 00:11:40 No. So your autopilot, Sally, she's really trying to keep the vibe high as you can hear. And again, you think game is a bit of a misdirection because immediately you look down and you've got all these controls in the submarine, but you can't use them. Like I was trying to immediately turn the ship around. Can you fly up the sinuses, get in the nose. Let's have a peek in the brain.
Starting point is 00:12:04 No, no, no, no, no. Sally's pretty much, she's taken care of the control. So you can certainly look at the controls. Yes. And there are a lot. Yeah. You know, you're on a ride, don't you? I know.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Not, they're not labeled. The controls are also branded Kellogg's. So they can all speak. You plug in there. There are a lot of controls that don't seem to be being touched by anyone. You do kind of wonder what else does this ship do, how are we or else do we go? But that's just questions, I guess, for the sequel. You go through the small intestines.
Starting point is 00:12:37 That's first. I will say slightly educational. You notice that they're sort of like a little it's kind of like a little coral reef, they're purple, nonjules and stuff. Like I can see from your face, it's not really moving in the evil, but it's... It's worth mentioning. Right, so then,
Starting point is 00:12:54 probably the most dramatic parts of the game slash ride is when you go from the border from the small to the large intestine. Okay. From the northwest. See that up ahead? That's the valve. The door to the large intestine. Okay. Okay. See that up ahead? That's the valve. The door to the large intestine.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Hold on. Holy hell. Oh, I can't look. We made it. It's a bit dark in here. We're just confusing. It's a bit dark in here. Okay. So I was a bit dark. We're just confusing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:28 It's kind of, it's kind of exciting, but I was confused by this part of the game because in the, sorry, the ride, in the small intestine, we're using what seems to be like ship-based lights to light up where we're going. Then you get in the large intestine, and she's like, oh, it's dark in here. But I'm like, but it's dark in the small. It's not dark in here. It's dark in the large intestine and she's like, oh, it's dark in here. But I'm like, but it's dark in the small.
Starting point is 00:13:46 It's not a big doubt. They don't have to go into the corridor, Flores. It's like that. Very, very easy. Someone gets sliced in half and beams of light in the stomach because we've all got Florescence in our small intestine. That's true.
Starting point is 00:13:58 So I kind of put that, I'm like, look, if you're not going to let me in controls, that's your job to turn the torches on. Yep. And also, if you didn't make it, when she's really worried about gosh, I'm glad going to let me in controls. That's your job to turn the torches on. Yeah. And also, if you didn't make it, when she's really worried about, gosh, I'm glad we made it. It's like a big problem.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Because I think everything goes through there pretty, you know, normally. Yeah, again. That would be a real confusing one for like a surgeon to pop the camera down and go, you've got a tiny submarine stuck in the valve. You didn't even eat an all-brand like you're in the large. This is where it gets into gameplay and you can interact.
Starting point is 00:14:32 You're able to shoot all-brand at, uh, like I believe we've got from Frisbee Golf. I've just, the so far today's shows just had a lot of Andy staring at me non-plus. Yeah. And I don't think we've got from Frisbee Golf. I've just, so far today's show has just had a lot of Andy's stereo at the non-plus. I don't think this will plussy. You shoot all brand at bad bacteria. He's a moment from the heat of battle. The emergency, emergency, bad bacteria overload. Huh?
Starting point is 00:14:59 There seems to be more bacteria than usual. The good bacteria are so hungry, they've eaten the mucus layer that protects the gut wall. Good thing we prepared some fiber ammunition earlier. Let's get feeding. Initiate fiber feeder. Ready? Aim?
Starting point is 00:15:15 Fiber! No, no, no. Good, yeah. Good, good, ready-owned fiber. It means a lot of work that's going into getting that pump from one knee. So I think by this edge of like, all right, we've had this, I've got it. Like, what's the conclusion? I'm a good, really own fiber. It's a lot of work that's going into getting that pun money. So I think by this end, you're like, all right, we've had this.
Starting point is 00:15:27 I've got it. Like, what's the conclusion? Like, it's not a speed run for people that game. Like that's obviously where you go through the level as fast as you can. You can't really speed run it because you are going at one pace. But you do get excited to go, wow, on my first try at this game. I'm going to clock it. Like I have been healed. The bad bacteria didn't get me. I made it through the valve. I can't believe I I'm gonna clock it. Like I haven't been killed.
Starting point is 00:15:45 The bad bacteria didn't get me. I made it through the valve. I can't believe I'm gonna clock it. And, you know, for anyone that's familiar with the digestive system, like you know what the final scene is. But in case you're not, here it is. Now you might be wondering how you can get out of here.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Wow, there's only one way out. Now I'm approaching Rector. I'm going to pay this for the squeeze! Go! Again, again, it is a bit of a squeeze, but I hope not, because you're a microscopic submarine. So if you're squeezing out a microscopic submarine, that is a tight rectum. Is it not? You know, exactly, that's a worry.
Starting point is 00:16:36 It shouldn't be a squeeze if you're microscopic. It should be kind of a, you know, if it's time to go, you shouldn't even really notice the edge. You're like, anyway, I probably won't play it again. I know. Hey, there's an aspect of this show, there's plenty of aspects of the show that I love. You appreciate that. Jack, thank you.
Starting point is 00:17:04 A big fan of Jack. The bell. The bell. I like the bell. We don't talk about the bell very much. We don't talk about the bell very much. But it's basically the fourth co-host. But when we get to the end of a topic, oh, all right, get boy of one. You have become the bell guy. I'm fine with that. You even have a bell right? We all had bells at the start. I lost my bell.
Starting point is 00:17:30 And he probably knew that that was going to happen, Jack, that you and I would misplace or lose interest in the bell. And it just sort of gravitated well that Andy's gone, well, I'll keep my bell, and I'll bring it every show, and I'll be the bell man. And I just felt like it's so great. We often, we all abide by it. Like as soon as the bill goes, sometimes we come back, but on the most part we go, okay.
Starting point is 00:17:52 That's, no, I'm happy to respect the bill. Yeah, and I wondered how could this would be in real life if we had a bell to get us out of boring conversations that we end up having with people. And if it would work. Dream of the bell. So, I tried it. I think it did work. It might be a new product for the Hamish Nandy store.
Starting point is 00:18:12 New to the Hamish Nandy store, alongside a few must-be nice hats left in the warehouse, comes a product you simply can't go without. The Wind Up Bell. BELL Made from the cheapest metal available, this bell can get you out of any conversation you can't be bothered being in,
Starting point is 00:18:29 like hearing about the gardening while on the phone to your mum. The gardener came on Thursday to do them, mow and blow, as if he calls it. That's okay, say, is that, oh, that's the date with 40, actually, that year. When was it 40, you say, is that, oh, that's the date with 40, actually, that year. When was it 40, you say? Was that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Yeah. Well, that's trying to, yeah. I was like before, yeah. Which year did the date one? They were here. Well, sorry, man. The bell's gone off so I better go. You go.
Starting point is 00:18:56 You go. Okay, bye done. Thank you. What about your dad giving you live commentary of what's around him? Get busy on the eye. Hey, sir. We've just been running. Dad giving you live commentary of what's around him. Okay, okay. Okay, ready, I think. Alright. The wind up bill is perfect. If you're part of the things you care about, the latest pop gossip. Eight years ago, it was rumored that Olivia Wilde, Harry Styles and Em Rider had a three-sem
Starting point is 00:19:36 when Harry Styles and Olivia were dating. Right. They were videoed, but I think it was like an older brother. Sorry. Sorry, the bell's gone up. I've got to run. What? I've just got to go. The bell's gone. Okay. Okay. Bye.
Starting point is 00:19:59 If a telly marketer calls, you know what? You've got that bell! This is Jane, not Victoria and it's your breath. And we're operating your old exhaust fan by installing a brand new Zuff Stopper in Saturn. Absolutely free. So do you have an exhaust fan at your home? Oh, sorry, my bell's gone off, I better go. Oh, you have to go. Yeah, the bell, can you hear the bell? The bell's just gone off, so I better go.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Okay, should I call you back later The bells has gone off, so I better go. OK, should I call him at the end of the day? Nah, thanks, mate. Bye. Bell. And for those daily occurrences where podcast Mike, for no reason, whatsoever, starts telling you about his favourite Pokemon. Mewtwo? Mewtwo. He's like a big kind of five-heedle sort of cut kind of thing with a long tail and the story
Starting point is 00:20:48 behind him is that he was a clone of another Pokemon called New, so he's new too and he was cloned by an evil organization trying to help take over the world. Sorry mate, but then my bell's gone off. I've got to run. Okay. Bye. What? Bye. It's perfect. The Hamish and Andy wind up, Bill, to purchase yours. All you have to do is, sorry, got to go. And everyone involved, basically the Lee family were the ones that abate at the most. It's genetic. Your mum and dad gave extreme, quickly legitimacy
Starting point is 00:21:32 to the bell. Yeah. If anyone else has went, what do you mean the bell's gone? It's not, it's gone. It is not a really real life. But we could make it available. We've got to go for it. For the four of it.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Fellas. It didn't mention this last week, available. I've got to go for it. Fellas. I didn't mean to say this last week, but recently back from Japan, a family holiday over to Japan, which was a lot of fun. Had a great time. I go, there's not what I want to talk about, but sorry, just by think of it. I got water-borted, which is an interesting experience. Kind of accidentally, by my daughter, because we had a staying in a hotel that had a bath, right? Zoe was out doing something, and I was running out of things to do in the hotel room. So I go to the kids, have that some place to go.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Well, let's do a traditional Japanese onsen, which means we have a shower, then we all hop in a hot bath, right? So did that, hop in the little bath. They got bored of it and then they're walking out. I was quite enjoying the bath. Not very often as a man, do you have a midday bath? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:31 So I'm having a soak. And then really my little girl goes, oh, dad, do you want me to, I'm gonna do it. I'll do like a head racer. Can I be like a days bath for you? I was like, yeah, great. So I'm hanging my head back out of the bath. She's like getting like, you know, champions or whatever and she's got a face washer. I didn't know,
Starting point is 00:22:48 but she is just sort of like draping the face washer over my head, like brushing my hair and stuff. And I'm just like, whatever it, whatever's winding, I mean, it's off the clock. Like, that's all good. Then quite fast. She laid, because I'm leaning my head right back, right flat back, laid the face watch over my whole face Before I could go. Oh honey. I can't really breathe She picked up then the jug and just had pouring water over my face, which is what He's waterboarding in his water and then she started like genuinely This is not fun. So not what I expected to do.
Starting point is 00:23:25 One of my core memories from Japan. No. Got waterboarded. And I'm here to tell you, let's, let's, let's get effective. An effective, schooled like a pig. And maybe it's immediately told where I'd hit all the candy.
Starting point is 00:23:37 So yeah, that was one big memory. But there's the thing I wanted to talk to you guys about. Do you remember my rule about Japan? No. I had banned myself from buying anything online, following any of my impulses to purchase things late at night, which seems, it kind of grabs me with intent and intent, 30, my most dangerous time.
Starting point is 00:24:01 I had banned myself from purchasing a thing till I got back from Japan. And it occurred to me this morning, and I was keeping a list of all the things that I would have bought, but had to write down to not buy them to step back. Now, I've written the list, the list up. So that's all the things that you were thinking about purchasing online, and then you held back because you were going to try and be absent for it until they're until post-Japan. So yeah, I guess it was like abstinence except then going, but then in a month, look out. No, right.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Yeah, okay, be wild. Okay, yes. So this is the list. This is the list of temptation, I suppose, for the last month. This is, like I said, unfortunately, it just, something gets a hold of me late at night and I'm just, that's where the purchases happen. So a great month, a huge money saving month really, like phenomenal. But worried about what the onslaught now. Like when you're like a 40-pointer.
Starting point is 00:24:58 So instead of just going, it's having had a beer or a year. And then instead of just going full onslaught because then once the point, I thought, do I Put the items in a like on single pieces of paper scrunch them up like a raffle. Yes. Give it to you and Oh, and then you draw like let me just see let me just look at the master list here. I think there's probably about 12 Probe of 15 things there great. What's a fair amount of things to pull out?
Starting point is 00:25:27 So at least I know I've saved some money because I've like resisted. I think three. And three out of 15, I thought ten. Oh, I was gonna say one, like one a month. Oh, no. Well, I'll do it. I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Well, I mean, any, remember'm doing it. Well, I'm getting it. I mean, any, remember, any saving is a positive here. No, but I think you'll prove to you that you don't need any of these things in you. Oh, my God. Five? Ah. Well, why don't we split the middle? Like, I said, one, you said five, go three.
Starting point is 00:26:01 That's what Andy said. I said three originally. You said one, so it should be two. Three, you said ten. For a rootle. Let's go three. That's what Andy said. I said three originally. You said one, so it should be two. Three, two, three. But you said two. For Rufl five. Let's go five. That seems about it. I'm going to grab this hat off here. Three, one. He's the first. He's the first one. God, I've got a, I've got a, that infuriates me so much, Jack, I almost want to buy all of them twice to split you. That's so funny. The golf, golf, range jacket, better than the one you have.
Starting point is 00:26:26 Yeah, I didn't even want that. Really? Do you have to buy these or is this a choice? Yeah, I guess I can buy it now. So I've got, I guess this is, I've got permission to buy that now. I have a range jacket that I've used. Like, I've only played golf now, four rounds in my life. And it rained one of them.
Starting point is 00:26:43 I thought I didn't really have a good, um, was it a bit restrictive? Got a fine, a good golf range. I think it's good. That's what I thought. Because I didn't, I don't have one that's specifically made for golf, but the one I use actually, I enjoyed. That's a joke.
Starting point is 00:26:54 But that's all right. Any way, clearance to buy another one. He comes the next thing. Damn it, that's not one of my faves, that one. The best beard hair clippers. Good. Good. I do still want that. How are they better
Starting point is 00:27:08 than what you've got at the moment? Yeah. The ad, I've saved the ad, that was just like, you know, you should see the reliability, like the titanium construction. Really good. Okay, he's the, he's the, the one I've got at the moment, just too much plastic involved. Okay, he's the, he's the, the one I've got at the moment, just too much plastic involved. It's done. I thought out the best hair clippers, again, the razor raider. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 00:27:33 But too different there. There was a few on there because this is the interesting part about keeping the list for the month. You'd write down, you'd immediately forget when you've written down on the list. Like you would, and then what to do. No, I would have, no, but I wrote down one, like let's just say like 10 days in,
Starting point is 00:27:49 I'm like, oh yeah, best here, but that's what I need. Oh, this is killing me, I can't buy it. Follow the rules, put it on the list. Then I would have gone, gee, that's an amazing ad. That's for the razor raider, isn't it, which is this brand I must have seen, I got, oh, can't buy it, put it on the list. And as I've gone to put it on the list, I realize
Starting point is 00:28:05 there's already been, there's all the list. So they do appear twice. That's number three. Right, it's taken by two pairs of earquipers now. A noise machine keyring. That did look fun. That's a little keyring that you can store noises on like drum noises.
Starting point is 00:28:22 All right. Do you think they could be a bit of fun for the car. For the kids. Okay. That's good. I'm happy to have that back in. A Jack, it's okay mate. Well, I mean, this is why you put him on the list.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Last one. I can't believe. I could have Jack evading that good. Jack and I didn't really want two pairs of hair coming through the noise machine, Kering, please be the bow. A compound bow by 12 archery accessories. Yes!
Starting point is 00:28:46 Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! You don't need a compound bow. Yes! They're really expensive.
Starting point is 00:28:57 That's the jackpot because it includes 12 accessories. Man, I went so deep one night in a rabbit hole looking at compound bows because I got a friend that's just got one and he's like just like he's expensive super expensive and all like the sights the weights the you're not gonna go release I might and that's why I was getting involved like different arrows arrowheads there's a lot you can die in the in the archery world because he was like look I've just started you know fired a bow for the first time's really different arrows, arrowheads. There's a lot you can buy in the archery world. Because he was like, look, I've just started, you know, fired a bow for the first time.
Starting point is 00:29:28 I was really great, like the mental side of archery, physical side, and I was sold. And I was like, oh, I can't believe this was happening during the month where I'm not buying things, because this is exactly what I would do. He's buying bow before firing one. You should go to the range five times before you buy it. Five times. Three.
Starting point is 00:29:47 I'm no fair enough, that is a responsibility, didn't it? I am going to try that, but I'm very glad that I hit the jackpot. Not stoked about two bearded clippers, but yeah. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. got hers, we've got hers. The tricky, you know, for example, running the 100 meters as fast as you can,
Starting point is 00:30:27 is a special skill, but there's already existed body that will recognize that. Yeah, Olympics, World Games. Creating world peace, is a special skill with the Nobel people to be in charge of recognizing someone that's tried to do that. Deep that one. We ain't taking nothing away from those special skills.
Starting point is 00:30:45 This special in the world needs them, but we exist for those that are not recognized by the Olympics or the Nobel Committee. That's where we come in. People can do incredible things, but yet no one gives them the recognition they deserve. And, oh, today we've got a goody.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Marcus Moss, a Maldean, he said, hey, boys, my name is Marcus, and I live in New South Wales. I can tell you what streaming platform any form, if it's popular, but it's known by most people, I can tell you what streaming platform it's on, whether it's even on a streaming platform. Pretty exciting stuff, he said,
Starting point is 00:31:21 but he'll tell us within five seconds, we've got Mike, podcast Mike out here, it's going to have have him on zoom as well just to make sure he's not cheating or looking at anything up Because you know, unfortunately Not that we would ever put this past marks, but we know that in In the competitive world of special skilling It's the accusations have been level before sometimes they've been proved sometimes they haven't, sometimes they've been taken offline for an informal discussion. Yes, sometimes you can use the French, French, you're bad at it, but the fact remains, there will be people that always listen to this stuff and go, you, but that's databaseable, or there's an app or whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:58 We have my here watching to make sure it's all just human powered as the attempt is made. watching to make sure it's all just human powered as the attempt is made. And going to say in the terms of special skills that you rate, this is a huge one. Yeah, this is what a time saver. This would save you so much time. And you'd almost get two movies in because there's a lot of people that might have one or two or you know, must be nice, three or four of the streaming services, but not all of them. Yes. And so there's always that moment of excitement
Starting point is 00:32:28 to go easy on one of the ones we've backed. Yep. And that's what today's skills all about. You can find that bit of information out soon in the numbers. Marcus joins us now. Ohoy Marcus. Ohoy, Hamish and Andy.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Happy birthday Andy. No need. Marcus, I have just been told by podcast Mike that because he's watching you on the Zoom that you're at school at the moment. I am at school. I've got all my friends with me here just watching for support. Really? Now, this is great. This is great. But I was at school. If you're in a moment where I've weakness and you failed, that is the absolute pits and people will remind you of it for years to come.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Yeah. If I fail to say, I guess I'm going to get a rips for the rest of my life. Okay. Good to see you. You and any both went to a school that had the Latin motto, God help you if you try. Because we will tell you to shreds. Good old fashioned fun. I'm a bit like that man. Absolutely. Good old fashioned phone. We've got five movies.
Starting point is 00:33:28 We're going to throw at Marcus. What do we expect for him to take away a coin today? We'd love to hear four out of five. There is imagine for error. We will give you bonus for a specced not points. Should you notice that one or two or three of the movies appears on dual platforms because that does sometimes happen. You'll still get the point if it's on one. Are you going to get a point for naming one? You will get bonus respect, not points.
Starting point is 00:33:56 If you highlight two, don't go crazy with trying to do that, though, so don't just start scatting them, though. That's right. I know what I'm talking about. It's fine. Okay, okay. Okay, you get it. And the other thing is we've given you the, we were sort of like, what's a decent amount of time here? Are you familiar with, this is the THX sound effects, isn't it? And it's start of a movie when they play to let you know that it has THX sound. Usually you see it, it's in them, but people will be familiar with this sound effect.
Starting point is 00:34:29 You've got to bend. You've got to bend to that effect reaches its crescendo. Yes. That's when we're going to need the answer by. We reckon that's a swift enough amount of time. How do you feel about that, Marcus? I'm feeling good about that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I mean, this is good. I love that sound effect. Marcus, think about the movie though. Don't get sucked into going, oh, that's a nice sound effect. You always thinking time. Oh, I'll manage. Okay. After you've won, go home tonight and treat yourself. Just listening to that Exactly. Marcus, shall we jump into it? What's the word? It's fair to say he's a streamer and he knows every single one. Throw any movie at Marcus and he'll know the platform that is on. What did you think, Hando? Beautiful. Oh, thanks.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Oh, shut that end up. I was always trying my best. You do wonderfully well. Marcus. Yes. Your first movie is... Step Brothers. Netflix.
Starting point is 00:35:44 I think there was a fast Netflix. Your first movie is... ...Step Brothers. Netflix. I think there was a fast Netflix there, wasn't it? Netflix, yeah. Incorrect. Clash. Is it Stan? No, no, you're not allowed.
Starting point is 00:35:57 This is the problem. This is what I run into with my wife, and I tell her I have a skill. What I realize is I have... I have a skill on the second or third stab. The one annoying thing about streaming platforms is they change around. Because I know that brothers was last year at 27. So true. Well it is on Stan currently and to all of Marcus's friends standing by watching get your end assault ready because he's a sharp and witty male lips here. It's okay, it's still possible.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Okay, I'm sorry I'm distracted here because I'm running with stepbrothers ever on net. James, I mean, quick look. But then you also got the problem of US Netflix. Well, someone's written, why did stepbrothers get taken off Netflix? That's one of the questions online. But it's got to be, it's now. We'll come back. If it's a close one, Marcus, we'll come back to it. And we'll review that.
Starting point is 00:37:03 We've always got grounds to repeal on this show. Second film for you, my personal favourite, Braveheart. Disney plus. He's got it. He's got it. You've got it. Hey, you're a particular film that you wanted to add. OK. I mentioned it recently. Hey, you're particular film that you wanted to add. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I mentioned it recently. Pronunciation can be wrong. Banshees of insurance. Not on a straightening platform. Correct. I know. Recently has come to Disney+. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:37:41 She, this is tough. This is tough, but can I go back to question one? Yeah. Step brothers from Elm still Googling this over here. Historically, looks to have been all over Netflix. It was, it was a big thing on Netflix. I think it's a victim of a recent licensing switch. And then we've victim with Ben,
Starting point is 00:37:59 Jesus will, yes, it is a double victim, but he can't know what Will Ferrell's doing behind the scenes on a day-to-day basis selling his films. Exactly. Okay, so let's give him a, but needs to get two, we just need to see two impressive showings over the next two questions.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Yeah, let's do it. Of course, you're happy with it. We're giving you a stave execution. We know you're happy with the deal. We started with Jack's, his his stepbrothers went to mind-brave heart home bench. He's his podcast mic Slumdog millionaire Paramount plus Guys only she's in salt
Starting point is 00:38:42 Guys, unleash your insults. LAUGHTER OK, it's not fair. I'm not going to lie, I've never heard of it before in my life. Never heard of a strong dog milling in it. I'm one birth picture. Never seen it, laughing what's it. It's a fantastic film. I'm not just, I'm not nichely saying this,
Starting point is 00:38:58 it did win the Academy Award for this. Yeah, this isn't Andy Liking, you know, his year 12, maybe a project. This is a well-known film. Um, okay. Maybe it was the date of it. I mean, that was a while ago. What about, I mean, this is just for fun and maybe to avoid even more ridicule from your friends, but bridesmaids?
Starting point is 00:39:20 Netflix. No. God. Good luck with that friendship group of yours. Fuckers. Already, I don't know what time class starts, but you shall be going with toilet water in your hair. If again, it was anything like at his school.
Starting point is 00:39:40 No, look, Balletmunk, it seemed like a terrific young man. And I hope if the friends are listening, they take mercy on you and commend you for your bravery, because they can't commend you on your result. Is there still a token of no value on the table? Absolutely. We'll send you a token of no value. Exactly what your high school certificate will be. If you keep up this rate.
Starting point is 00:40:04 See you, Vargas, thanks, Hitchfuddy. Good stuff. Thank you, man. MUSIC Guys, we thought that we'd put the Bunnings sausage-settle variations of orders to bed. We had to. If you're a new listener of the podcast,
Starting point is 00:40:24 welcome by all means. We welcome to. If you're a new listener of the podcast, welcome by all means. We welcome everybody. And I'll hold you. We literally cover it off from what I can get it. Every permutation of... Because there's only... There's sausage, onion, bread, and sauce. And there's only so many ways you can combine those things.
Starting point is 00:40:41 I guess in Serbia, to produce a food. I think we have uncovered off non-foods. Yeah, exactly. We've heard every order. We encourage everyone to go back to episode one that you eventually get to this bit, but we've talked about it a year. This would be a long run up for the sausage stuff I think it was about four episodes ago. I feel like to this year we've covered every possible order because we had the people that just liked onions then but like the juice of the sausage one more is coming in him Why we miss what did we miss from grace? She she writes in I helped run a bunning sausage sizzle once and a few people did ask for just onions So she'd seen that and we've discussed that
Starting point is 00:41:23 She said the weirdest sort of though was when I got asked for one bunning sausage, cut in half long ways. No bread. Just a flat out sauce. Well yeah, like cut in half long, why would anyone... Why would you need that? Why would you? There are, there are rees.
Starting point is 00:41:43 You would cut a sausage in half, kids, you'd cut a sausage in long ways. Because they, yeah, always long ways, because they choke. If you cut circles and get stuck in their throat, but if you cut strips, they can't choke on them. Oh. That's just, you're not at that stage yet, Jack, give it a year and you'll be cutting everything
Starting point is 00:41:58 in strips. So like carrots, sausages, always go a strip. But without a kid present. And also that might have been a cool, but without a kid present. And also that might have been a cool, I sometimes cut them long ways for the kids for cooling. Okay. Cause it calls it faster.
Starting point is 00:42:11 So a picky kid doesn't want sauce. Or a dozen one yes. Yep, you know, that happened. Didn't want bread either. So that is the cilia. But just a strip of sausage, a non-chocable strip of sausage, is the order.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Because the only way, like I'd say, this is apparent doing that. That's the parent going, I've got two kids, they're at me for a sausage. This time if they're not present, they're still in the car. Windows down, obviously. Yeah, because I mean, it's just, I was gonna say, it seems like if it's good parenting on one hand because you cut the sausage in strips so they don't check, but yet neglectful parenting on
Starting point is 00:42:48 the other hand because you've trapped them in the car and you're coming back and trying to half snags at them to go feed on this. Because I, when I, because I, you can't, not that many runnings. Have a sausage in bread? Yeah, so because we're, winter, Saturday morning, footy, like it was kick every weekend, it's sausage time. And half time was something and it was a game. No, you do at the end of the game. I mean, I go during the game. I mean, they just start the sausage sizzle.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I try and run off during the game and get one for just get a warm up sausage and then we can all have one after the game. But there's often no heavy notes back from my daughter on any food that's presented to you. The same food that she was begging for 10 minutes ago that would like solve all problems. It now there's like heavy feedback on the temperatures, source, consistency, why'd you get onions,
Starting point is 00:43:43 why didn't you get onions? I don't like the bread. I wanted the crust. I can't fold the crust. I hate the crust. I want two sausages. These are too hot. You're the worst. Not the brat worst. Not a sausage gag. Literally the opposite of the best. Why am I stuck with you? Where are you going? I love you so much. I hate you for this. Why gonna have more? Is there fairy floss here? I'm starving. I don't want this.
Starting point is 00:44:11 What else is there? I don't just want bread. So you, you know, would you? So to dance, it's a dance. And I've probably got, I would have got a sausage cut in long ways, I was for cooling,
Starting point is 00:44:22 because you want, you want the sausage moment to be a time of joy for all. And often the feedback on it being too harsh is something that can throw a spanner in the works for that. So I probably, I would go, I don't think I can, I can't remember having no, it's plausible I would have said, hey, cut it in half. Then I'm going to pour a ton of cold sauce down the middle. And that it'll cool down. Should mean that it's cool enough, that we can all just stand here for two freaking minutes
Starting point is 00:44:51 amongst the complaints. And just enjoy the sausage and bread. Please. Please. That's the possibility. Thanks for listening. The Hamish Nandy podcast will return next week. Catch up or contribute at hamishnandy.com.
