I want to talk about today about COVID-19 effective in California, how we can restore
relation and live there. In early 2020, the world was shocked by the COVID-19 threat, soon foreign virus arrived our country and began dispute, you know, all
our business, economy, and our life, the way we are live.
We were so comfortable, but after COVID-19, unfortunately, our state, especially in California, turned out to be the hardest hit.
So every day.
The case is increasing.
Now it's Omicron and another virus and name, another virus name coming.
So COVID-19 is so crisis, you know,
is so crisis, you know, inextimate damage to our state, California, economic and infrastructure,
little less strong, especially in the tourism present, Congress continue to play and pray politics instead of passing the, you know, similar little package promise they did several, you know, last year and, you know, but that stimulus relief package, not only the resolution because that is a short-term solution. And we should do something more than that.
You know, that's why I just wanna,
how we can overcome this COVID-19 right way to,
you know, as a political candidate,
that I just overview several different parts.
First, there is simply no way California can hope to recover
without direct, immediately intervention of BF of California citizens.
So it will bring both the politics and private sector working together
to restore our state, California,
economic to its former glory.
Not only California, all United States, we have the same implication on these older thought
and older resolution or older application is the same thing.
So I'm in California, US Senate candidate,
so that's why I focus on California,
but this is all of the people who are in the same situation right now.
So this will require a lawmaker,
Congress, like Senate and House at both state and federal levels
to do their part to get help for those who need it and assistance from business and organizations individuals as well as to think creativity and collaboration work together to devise
solution for the recovery.
So I am candidate, a U.S. Senator, and I think the candidate for also, you know, I have a proven tracking record
to provide direct assistance to business owners.
I'm more concerning business owner
than in any other situation right now
because the business owner is the most effective COVID-19.
Of course, workers, you know,
who are working in business place,
because the business place is closed, same time effective workers, you know, also. So,
employer, you know, close their business. Of course, you know, workers also lay off the employee ladies,
you know, go on non-employee ladies go up.
So this is a related situation.
So how we can solve this deeply problem,
destroy business in California and in the US.
So I want to have one sample approach
that are basically, you know, recovery first, focus on, and then prevention
to normal effect of COVID-19.
And then third things, restore this COVID-19 from all the situation right now.
So those three parts we should process in, you know, the, okay, in fact, no political candidate in California, either in our state of
office, is better suited to deal with this challenge our state faces, as no other candidate is a possession like me,
level of experience in business,
because I've been so many years,
like 27 and eight years for Pintech company,
I traveling all over California.
I understand all the kind of,
more than 100 kinds of different
business locations I know and I talked, I met business owners. So this is, I feel like
so sad, you know, this is not only my sub-business, all the business business effectively. I'm a Pintech company, a CEO, owner.
Before COVID-19, I used to go out
and then always to meeting client per day,
so many client, but at this point,
we have mandatory, mandated so many things. We are not easy to contact owner and even existing our client. We are eliminated meeting face to face. We always call by phone or email. It's better way to safety matter so you know we are just keeping client current client better solution but we
previous uh you know before covered 19 we always go out we always hire people to go
get a new client you know use of this it's the same situation, not only my business,
I think all of other business, same things happening
because they are not going to hire you staff,
staffing you people to, you know, more extend their business.
So that's the one I just want to really,
I know might be through my business.
Also, I'm learning real estate brokerage business people. I'm in office in Beverly Hills. We have
so many open house visited every Saturday or Sunday after service, you know, after Sunday church service,
I can visit just listing, you know, four, five listing after that even serve God.
You know, but at this point, we are not going out to meet people,
usually make appointment for client.
usually make appointment for client. And then, you know, we really hire many agents and also many seminary for first home buyer and, you know, first apartment seminary workshop. So many things we had
before, but not anymore. Even office meeting also regularly we had. But at this point, because of COVID-19,
we cannot do that anymore.
So I'm learning legal service also as a founder or CEO
of Meridian Beverly Hills Legal Investment, Legal Group.
Before COVID-19, anytime we can visit a court like Santa Monica Court and LA Court and Los Angeles Downtown Court,
anytime we go there filing, you know, business case, civil case and family case, also in the small bankrupt and the small court so we can
file easily but at this point we the court is often not open you know
regularly so it's a every time it's closed so and then client you know so
many many also eviction case we filed in law firm.
But at this point, people had so many problem to even filing at the court.
And as well as we are not like before we visited the court, we had a lot of people, like a hundred people, filing that one room.
But at this point, really, we cannot take a line.
We have to apply.
We are even not filing that regularly.
We go to the open county.
County closed a long time, but not at
this point now. They often, you know, San Bernardino County and L.A. County and, you know,
Orange County, all those I'm doing legal service and business, all those three counties,
legal service and business, all those three counties, they are open now but previous few months they are not open and we are visiting now have only appointment by appointment. So
this is a lot of change and our personal life too many changes because of COVID-19, we are not really going out to restaurants.
So before my husband and me, we used to go to all the time, like weekly after church
or Saturday we work rodeo in Beverly Hills and Canyon Park. We stay there because over there is our
business office front. We visit even Saturday, Sunday, go to the office to extend work.
And then we all go out to dinner together at a very beautiful place, many places in the Beverly Hills restaurant.
So we see many, many clothes locations in Beverly Hills, Lodeo Street, so many places,
rent signs, those commercial places.
So I feel like many, many people in my life,
even we had Black Lives Matter
and we had a lot of, you know,
the movement in area Beverly Hills.
We had last 2021 very serious, you know, gangs
or like they have a fight for their own,
you know, their or like they have a fight for their own, you know, vision and mission.
But anyway, they've broken all the vision in Beverly Hills.
So we had so many problems in California, racism and cancel culture.
So those is more appearance, you know, sexualism and socialism.
So those things, you know, not only COVID,
it's mixed together after COVID,
more serious employee, entrepreneur suffer
and low income and then even more homeless
and then more like a problem.
I am really as as a candidate of U.S. Senate,
I'm feeling face-to-face through my daily life and through my business.
And also I'm learning nonprofit organization.
Before COVID-19, we planned to have regularly meeting and education
for entrepreneurs about business investment and then also real estate
investment and then many, many other education
for the business owner and then also job seeker.
We have a 503c workforce non-profit,
so we did a regular regularly meeting but after COVID, you know, we cannot regularly
meeting every meeting by virtual June meeting, you know, so we would send envelope or visit for
donation or, you know, but now we are focused on not getting donation more focus on giving our people's
support through our non-profit so so because of you know many people's circumstance but anyway
we are keeping uh looking for donation supporting so i learning uh you know uh church so before So before COVID-19, we had a regular church meeting at 11, 12, 1.30, and 4 o'clock in our church.
But after COVID-19, many, many months, we closed our church.
And we even not can go there.
Every Sunday, Lord's lord days we serve god but you know we even
now is we have only uh you know just uh maybe uh 25 percent uh people allowed to uh you know
join to our church uh before a lot of people coming but that's a church a
local same situation have a lot of you know mandate at the church rather legal
issue at the church because of county and between churches so people they want
to go church but they cannot go so so this country is so destroyed because of COVID-19, before and after.
So we had in Beverly Hills, Lodeo, we had yearly, like, had a lot of meeting, you know, painters, you know, had a lot of meeting there.
Also car show, many commercial show in the Lodeo street and then Beverly Hills parks, but in front
of our church. But, you know, now we never see that after COVID-19 because of those are, you
know, mandatory too. So those are situations, I'm as a candidate of US Senate, really serious problem that we have also homeless problem.
More homeless are coming out because of COVID-19.
Even professional people, workers, because of COVID-19, they are no more, had jobs.
They become temporary homeless.
And then, you know, many renters,
you know, it's a real estate broker.
And they own the real estate company.
We are managing real estate property, apartment.
And so there is many, many people,
they are unable to pay. So there is temporary Congress and state level. They approve those. So many people, they have poor clothes, leather.
And then I am the National Prevention Center.
I am running also under Meridian Business Legal Investment Foundation.
I am also helping poor clothes know, prevention home foreclosure.
So before they closing, you know, or they foreclose, we give another chance to, you
know, keep their credit.
And then we buy those property, you know, before they go to the foreclose.
So those investment company I owned.
So we have more like a foreclosure people.
We send out like 200, 300 for time to local area
those who had a foreclosure.
But before that, I knew I want people proclosure later get the from the
uh in delicate uh delicate uh two months behind uh those those old situation that I had uh as uh I
owned really several because I owned also business school MIT uh MIT uh University Meridian Institutional Technology.
Previously, we had all planned for our school,
extended many, many plans to get as a non-profit, as a profit.
We think about franchising our school and our business,
Pintech and, you know, the real estate.
But as now it's all stopped because of COVID-19.
So many people, they had a dream, extend their business like me.
You know, they turned down right now, you know, business corruption,
political leaders corruption, political leaders' corruption,
all over the place, personal corruption,
economic corruption.
Everything is nine-hour corruption,
even stock market.
I invest myself or stock because of myself.
I think we have to have some, you know, some investment,
knowledge, and also stock is helping the group together as partnership.
I invented Apple.
I bought stock for Apple.
It couldn't turn down. and I bought stock for Apple,
it could turn down, I buy the Google and Tesla.
You know, the sum of stock is go up, even like IT, Pintech company is go up
and the same situation, but so many other business
is like financial, like example, example there is Upstart
you know the Upstart there was 400 I think two three months ago now is a 120
one hundred even ten so people lost a lot of money so we have some special
situation corruption that also stuck.
So these are all things, you know, happening in fact.
So in California, as candidate U.S. Senator, I really understand all those situations because myself, you know, I really feel that face to face.
you know, I am really feel that face to face.
So as I'm candidate US Senator, I'm going to very professional level
of experience in business.
So as a successful business woman myself,
you know, over 30 years experience private sectors.
As also educator, I had many, private sectors, as also educator.
I had many, you know, educated background
more than like 30 years.
So now even we have a school, you know, problem
that vaccinate mask mandate, you know,
post-order mask for children, vaccine children.
So, you know, as a church founder,
as a principal of, you know, school,
I feel that I feel like I devoted 30 years at the school.
So, you know, many, many things.
I am really issues, my life issues,
same times, not just any other candidate.
They are thinking that this is COVID-19. Now, they don't face to face, but I am so
many different fields, I am contribution, dedicate my life for a decade decades several
decades so that's why i i can be more like uh know that situation i can be more have a solution there
that's why i'm learning u.s senator to discover this copy the 19 the number one priority issue that we have to fight.
So that's why I want to just meet the proposal to complete the overall California social
and legal structure to deal with the crisis at hand in the recovery. First proposal that Revital in California included a grant tax break at
the force of federal and state level to small business owners as they try to receive a failed failed uh revival fails business uh the higher workers and uh building new properties uh that uh
uh that add uh uh uh and hurt to social distance guide us to do there will be similar outbreak in the future. So anyway, so I'm going to more like,
more, you know, we have to break the tax.
And then because of taxes, you know,
now it's so cold after Biden administration,
Biden, you know, became president of the United States.
Inflation and then tax is go up.
The inflation is so, we have to pay so many food price
more than like 200, 300 bucks than before.
And then we have to put in the gas uh you know more than one or two
dollars per gallon this is uh we have to really this is a really big problem to business owner and
individual because of uh we have to given tax problem but break break you know low tax but more tax to the people nine hour to the business
so you know this this is they give a grant they give all the uh you know that things um
uh you know they support many many uh plan but later on they increased the tax.
So that is a burden to business owners.
So that's why I'm going to fight for that.
We will not more than increase
or really need necessarily.
That's when I will do it for community.
And another thing is that, you know,
community outreach center that has local businesses both established and exploring one,
start new business will have to repair the branch and especially local business owners that establish safety, recovery, as well as building new business. building business because now many people even they are not thinking extend business
but we should all creation jobs because less than five years you business people stay our
creations you job is million millions business location in record so we have non-stop we needed to support those
EU business can able to start. And another thing is in a restaurant
target assistant for excuse me target assistant those in the tourism
restaurant hospital sector small business to include relief for lost
work and wages, as well as to encourage new business growth in the sector.
And MOA, so we had really target assistant, those restaurant, MOA assistants, not only like they have something we had last year,
restaurant had a lot of grant, you know, the funds from the government.
But however, we need more like, more than that, not just money,
more than that we have to assist on those restaurant, tourism,
hospitality, you know, business, you know, they have more wage up, go up, now
it's workers, need more workers and more mandatory safety.
So all those things we need more care of that.
And as well as promotion on educational recovery. So we will not spare any expense
in the repair our
sacred education system
to allow the student go back to the school.
Take class safety and conduct class.
More teachers can meet.
Student and teachers will not need to worry about lack of classroom.
So we need continuous school need open and safety have to guarantee
through the teacher's education and through the follow of the patient,
follow of the parents, follow up the parents, follow up by, you know, a student.
You know, there is many, many mask
and or vaccine mandate going on right now.
But anyway, we should not too much post,
but we have to guarantee to them safety all the way.
And then as well as education first to them.
Volunteering, they can follow those rules.
So I'm really seeking for those helping people in the school system
and also seeking spiritual renewal our state because our, you know,
comeback from the COVID crisis will require require more than simple caring in the virus.
And repair our school and business and individual level of life is more important.
So we need the spiritual recovery. church should be renewed and non-profit and you know all they need restored again like
before COVID-19 more than strong.
So America is the religious country.
So I fight for all those issues that as a candidate of U.S. Senate. So I myself, Dr. Yu, if elected as a refugee U.S. Senate, you know,
my life, you know, first, you know, proposal to Congress, all those old above matter I,
you know, mentioned, and then five for that uh thank you for listening today uh uh you know dr
for sure
