Greetings and salutations, listeners. Thank you for tuning in to the Going Global podcast series powered by Global Collective.
My being is Ashley Davis, also known as Mother of Five Girls on a mission to bring more communities together and save lives.
Let me just take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about my journey, my current focus, and really why this podcast series even exists.
So if you listened to episode one, that was really about what is the Global Collective?
You know, who are the Crisis Ready Institute? What does it mean to be a part of the Champions
Institute? And really, what is the mission of all of these partnerships with the Global Collective?
And it's really to empower community leaders and emerging leaders to take action, make change, and make this world a better tomorrow by growing and developing and honing their skill set to be able to lead their communities and provide solutions and streamline processes
and better practices and procedures to really allow more individuals to thrive rather than
survive with the goal of all individuals thriving in their communities and all the while connected through the global collective
and really being supported by a community of global champions, global crisis-ready leaders
who are out there taking action, making change, and making this world a better tomorrow and
providing services and products and solutions, tools, resources, boots on the ground,
all of the above, right? In their niches and across their industries to really elevate the
status quo and lead by example. So today, really what I wanted to talk to you about was that was episode one.
Now, episode two was, it ended up being, because I was free flowing at the time, about a local
ice cream shop changing the world and them not knowing or not really realizing that they were making an impact in their community by providing moments
in time that inspire life, right? Such as going to your local ice cream shop. It's nostalgic.
You're celebrating something or you're just treating yourself or you're treating your loved
one or your family or your friends, or you're just going out together
and being together and enjoying time together. And it's about all of those different toppings
and ways that you can, you know, create this little piece of happiness, that little moment
that you're sharing with those individuals that you're with. And so that's what episode two was about, was looking at the world from a different perspective, not just saying I'm an ice cream scooper at an ice cream shop, but really realizing that every single person, every single being out there has an opportunity to, you know, take the gifts that they're given, good, bad, and ugly, and great,
and make them do something with them, right? Choose to make change. Choose to not let it
be an obstacle. Choose to look at it as an opportunity. Choose to look at it from a
perspective of gratitude and really understanding that we all have an opportunity to make a difference in this
world. Don't we want to make a positive one? Because we're surrounded by so much negativity.
It's so easy to be a no person or to be a, you know, I don't think so. That's not possible or
keep dreaming, sweetheart, or any of those things, right? It's easier to do that. It's hard work,
right? To follow your dreams, to build your dreams, to build a solid foundation for your
dreams to live on, right? And that's what this Going Global podcast is all about. It's about
interviewing those people who are in the communities, boots on the ground, leaders,
those people who are in the communities, boots on the ground, leaders, emerging leaders,
interns, you know, that are joining global companies and global missions to make a change because they know they have an opportunity to do so.
And because the pandemic has opened up everybody's world to be connected, to be more connected
globally and be able to come together more
seamlessly than we have ever been able to before, and really make change in our communities,
but also in our global communities as well. So I just really appreciate you hanging in there with
us and just understanding that this journey will be taken together.
You, the listeners, we, the host and the interviewees, we're excited to bring our passion to the table, our expertise to the table, provide a ton of value, right?
And really give you access to what you have available to you and allow you to
make an educated decision on how you as a human being can make an impact in your world and find
out what you're truly passionate about and how you could be doing this from, you know, your couch at home. We talk about having these devices and this technology available
to us and all of the different avenues that we can really explore and monetize, right? And there's so
many different opportunities to do that. And one of the ways that I will share with you is through the Global Collective Partnerships. When you find a solution or product or service that has made a change in
your community and has really given you an opportunity to make a real difference and not
just slap a bandaid on it, but you found a solution or product or service that really is helping you now
and evolving with you with all of your future challenges, we want you to be able to monetize
that relationship with that solution provider so that you can share it with other people and so
that you can help that company elevate to the next level because they deserve it.
And instead, I'm sure you've heard of this before, instead of throwing millions of dollars of marketing and advertising out there on TV commercials and all that other kind of stuff, they're choosing to provide it to the community leaders who have tried their product or solution, been successful with their product or solution or
service, and now want to share it. So become a referral partner of these global collective
community solution providers, and then be able to share their product or service with the world,
helping them make a difference, because they made a difference in your community,
helping them make a difference because they made a difference in your community, and then you are monetized. So that's the other thing that we want to talk about on these episodes is really
organizing and monetizing your connections and finding ways to bring in additional revenue
to your bank account. And really just join a global community of champions, of crisis-ready leaders,
of community leaders who are passionate about making a difference in their communities.
And we'll be bringing them to the table. Some of them have been doing this for years. Some of them
have been doing this for days, but they have,
the one thing that exists with all of them is that they have passion. And the second thing is they
have ambition and drive, right? And, you know, the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, whatever you want to
call it, is that they want to make a difference in their communities and they want to see change happen
because they know way too many people that deserve it and way too many people that need that change
to happen in their communities. And all they need is to be provided the tools, the solutions,
the connections, the relationships that can help them make change in their communities.
