See you next podcast. Hi everyone. Today is January 9, 2022. How are you everyone? Thank you for coming to this church, Global Jesus Mission Church. Happy New Year. This is the, you know, first, you know, second week of 2022. And so today's title is the sevenions for How to Start 2022. So today's sermon title is that. And also today's Bible is Psalm 18, 1 and 2. Let's read Psalm 18, 1 and 2. I love you, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my rock of refuse, my salt, my horn of salvation, my stronghold. So this is today's Bible word. stronghold. So this is today's Bible word. And I'd like to today, I want to think about, you know, what is good sermon for this new year. So I choose seven principle of suggestion for the starting this new year. First, forget the fail of past task and stand up again and work to the

spiritual recovered. You know, so Pastor Doug suggests five practical methods for recovering the soul. Once the restoration of the beginning when we believe the word of Jesus and acknowledge him

as Christ. Second, if we live as a disciple who obey the word but abide in the word abide in the word our soul will mature. Third, he realized the true observation and the way of human knowledge apart from God. Fourth, we must have faith to see from God's perspective and see beyond our circumstances in front of us. Fifth, he said that he should do our best to the end, but do not stop until the moment we bear hundred flute so you know this this is that uh this is the one pastor uh

So you know once I wanted to share my story that what I do in first 10 days of each year, I'm doing first check of my prayers list which is God answer this playlist or not and then you know sooner we answered or it will take a longer time I make another playlist in 2022 and then next step I choose the one I found still not answered, pray. I strongly pray for 10 days. And then I put in another prayer list in 2022. After I asking God what is my life to do for God, need God, in God. So that I restore, recover my spiritual, that I am doing that way to listing my player list.

my player list and then you know I drawing all the pictures and visualize my you know player list and then also I selected strong word of God able to give me you know strong spiritual power to believe that God will come through that. I choose those words. And then I put all of the, well, print out almost 30 pages, room and living room and everywhere else, church, office, church, everywhere I put in that blessing word. That's I do within 10 10 days so what you guys doing so what you guys doing uh you know we can maybe try like what i'm doing same way but i'm so

i'm a pastor at church usually i deeply pray before two months, New Year's Day, you know, already had a list of the players. So I'm just recommending to, you know, you check up to, when you check up those, your players list, maybe you will find out those fail. You know, you want to try that you want, but you might fail. But just forgot the fail, pass the task, stand up again, need a player's list. That's I want to recommend you to. But people, they don't load 2021. They might not load 2022 but I'm really strongly recommend that all my life is ever pastor I'm doing before to two month ago I have like a hundred days player deep players day before you years and then after you years ten days I'm always pray for deeply that what should I do for God so I recommend you guys to do same thing check check up

write a load writing your playlist in this year what past task you fail you want to try again and you wanna what you should or check up that your strong part weakness part what opportunity you had 2021 or you what opportunity you will have 2020 what threatening so maybe you have because of covid most, like myself too, we want to go out, you know, preaching gospel more. But because of COVID-19, we cannot go out because there is threating, because limitation we have. So you might find out those, your failed past tasks. You can check up why I failed, what is threatening. Because of COVID-19, we cannot control.

So we only believe God. We can have God's perspective beyond God's circumstance, we base on God. That's the number one we can do because of, you know, if you fail some, your past test. Maybe people, many people say that because of COVID-19, I can unable to go to the work. I unable to do this, do this, do this. Even kids are unable to go to school. So we had many threats last year and another 2021, 2020 also. So we will keep on in 2022,

2020 also so we will keep on 2022 but we have to just not give up we have to stand up again even this kobe the 19 you know all kind of uh threatening economic threatening you know circumstance copy the 19 lose people's jobs, and then many mandates, vaccine mandates, so many things make us fail. Our task, even playlist, same like I'm a pastor, I always go out to meeting you non-Christians, you are Christians too evangelist but because of covid i cannot go out even i will i have a dream to getting so many peoples but you know i cannot because that is threatening but we have to stand up again and then destroy our spiritual recovery to overcome those.

Because last year is last year. So we have a new year, new hope. We have to stand up again, need God. So we can, you know, so then we can start again. Second, I'm suggesting that throw away unnecessary inventory and go out, you know, have a you things, take you things, grab, seeding you things and become a you being, you know. So what is this? You know, I mean you go to the Example you go to the store

Life is so advanced, you know the manager every years, you know, or every Quarterly they are replaced their inventory. So they throw away unnecessary inventory They are you know place different place they put in there so I just wanna you know this is good things we can do throw away unnecessary inventory to your life you know each people different inventory so if I'm a pastor I have my own life inventory. And if a housewife had different inventory, business owners different inventory, so you might have something inventory not necessarily always there, like stuck in the bonds of our life, never sailed, not good sail,

but they put in a very valuable place. So we have to replace replace which is unnecessary things. And then we have to try new things. And we have to always challenge our self to be you person, become you being, you know. So we have to, you know, really be really try other things. We have to try looking for a chance in 2020 because God gave us a future. Because why do we have 2021, 2022, because God is not

living in past. God does not want us to live in breakdown or break out to the past. God always wants us to enter the future. That's why God gives us

this new year. Looking for your challenge, looking for your change what you can change in your life maybe spiritual being you you are not a non-believer non-christian so you can try to believe god if you are not working hard, you can try working harder. You know, if you want to be like exercise every day, lose weight, all those, you want to try new things. If you want to financial settle down, investment, new things. But they need the commandment. There is not just idea bring up. You have to have a commandment yourself to take in, take out your inventory and try to do things. And then you will become you being, you know, you will develop yourself.

That is the second thing that I want to just recommend you guys to do. Third thing in Bible, you know, recite, pray, tapping, and giving thanks to hear your prayer. Thanks to God to hear your prayers, you know. And Matthew 7 and 7 to 8 said ask and it will be given to you seeking and you will find locked and it will be open to you for everyone

who ask receive who will seek find to him who locked it will locked it will be open so so if this is Matthew chapter 7 and 7 and 8 is really wonderful

word of God that promise that prayer will answer us. But if we are not praying, we will not be answered by God. So I talked already. I'm doing every eight years. I'm checking my playlist

and I make another playlist in 2022 and not just only plan. We have to deeply pray to God every day like minimum one hours. I'm doing pray every day minimum one hour. Pray for America, pray for church, pray for client, pray for company, pray for community, pray for family, pray for my husband. So we are the community. God make us to not only pray ourselves, we pray for others. Then we will have more thinking about service to community, more giving away to others, seeking to help others, then you will receive more.

Because if you lack, lacking is so important because even someone who stands in front of your house, they don't lock in your door. You never open the door. Even they stay there. So many Christians, they stay outside, stay nearby church, stay near pastor, but they are not really know about the power of play. The play is the number one key is christianity life to lock the key lock the door of the prey lock the locking is very important

then the your opportunity open by god that's the very very important to i wanted to share that and then number four or another things i wanted to uh sell you have a you know the new visions you know we never give up i want to share the seven up story so seven of companies now so successful, everyone knows about 7Up, but their company is behind the story that they make one up, but they fail. They make two up, three up, four up, until six up. They failed like six times, and they want to stop, but they did not. And they want to stop, but they did not. So until six times they failed, but seven times they had great success. So they become, until today, big success. So, you know, the believing is so important.

Continuous, confidentiality, God is giving the way, pray and vision resource to you that you know Philippians chapter 4 and 13 said I can do all things through him who strengthens me let us not grow worried in doing good

for at the proper time we will live a harvest if we do not give up so that is a caladian chapter six and nine so we have all things is the proper time so people's like example what is proper time is a seven of company when they make a seven of is their proper time. So the harvest time is seven up, made seven up. If they give up in six up, they don't have a proper time, they don't have harvest time. So everything, you have a goal and you have a play, playlist, focata. You try again and try again, try again and never give up because profit time you will

leave a harvest. But unless you do not give up, everything will be success. And another fifth, decide who to go with you. Where is team work, you know? So who's going to go with you in 2022? So, you know, you want to change team members or you want to focus on other things? So team is so important because, you know,

in Hebrew, chapter 10 and 24, 25 said that, and let us consider how we may support one another toward love and good deed. Not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching so, you know team is so important because Encourage each other's one another and then you know today coming Approaching each other's so toward to love good did each other because those team You know is so important, you know, is so important.

You know, we can see that the 12 disciples, Jesus had a team of the disciples who went wherever go, whatever do, they do need him, Jesus. So, you know, so because of in the message from Mark, Jesus sent his disciples out to be doing their own ministry in a team of two. And he gave them specific instructions to not pack anything, but rather to rely on people who invite them into their homes. So Jesus even, you know, giving two people a team and ministry and giving special instructions. So that's why we have to decide to whom can be together this year

to be success, to be come to your, you know, your whatever church, you know, whatever the, the, anywhere school, whatever, everywhere, you know, business, everything. And we have the teamwork is more like a benchmark, you know we man powers and we have more that so Jesus or using that too so number six is a soulful real problem for you changing so because you have to solve the problem what you have have now, then you can change your life to the next level. So I want to say, you know, one story that one village was changed totally in a political way,

or they tried to change it by, you know, the police could not stop anything but the state of Tennessee there is a tower there is so high a big problem crime every day violations you know every day so that's but even you know police could not touch anything to stop. But one day, a simple evangelist came to the town, gathering some believers and started a church. Two years later, what happened? The village was cleaned by the influence of the church,

and everyone changed their life. No drugs, no violations, no rampant, nothing. So they become good person. And then the one person is good, all the Torah or village changed. Because where is the gospel? Christ preached, the gospel of Christ is preached, the people changes and the village, the Torah village changes. So that is the real story. And then another thing, I want to also say that the change in England, the situation in 18th century England was the village, the one village, not only one village, there is all the place during the days, all the streets were fully unemployed people and homeless people and beggars.

At the night times, thieves, robbers, and all of close by, people's corruption and ruin country. At that time, it was John Wesley, the founder of the Mesopotamian church, who was born by the Holy Spirit, who was burning by the Holy Spirit, received grace and preached the gospel. And many people baptized him and began to you know open Christianist life started little by little so they end up the transform you know they end up transform all whole England into the gospel so they you know, people stopped drinking, people stopped gambling, so they all life, you know, changed as a real Christian life.

They find hope and, you know, they success, they are out of fails, you know, wealthy, they are out of faith, you know, where did they are out of poverty. So this is the, we remember until John Wesley is so famously, you know, very burning by Holy Spirit. He can do everything. The spiritual things, by God, the village changed, even whole country, whole country is changing. changed, even the whole country changed. So the Bible changed peoples. So we have to remember those things during we are living this world. So we have to be fruitful in the Holy Spirit, we have the bad habit have to be collected this year.

And we have to know how to control ourselves. We have to be creative. And we have to know the value of spiritual value and the Christian value. And we have to know, you know, we have to be you know we have to be this agreement are accepted also we be faithful basic you know optimist every day

and then grace giving peace those who around you so this is we can try to change this year because of changing by yourself by by Holy Spirit. You can change the whole country. So seven things, remember that God is the one who gives you strength. So there is Psalm 18, 1 and 2, we already read, I love you, I love you, love you alone my strength the road is my luck my

fortress my deliver my god my lack of reviews my uh my shelter my own observation my stronghold so you know the the things is the we uh should remember that everything's strength is from God, finally. You know, even through, maybe you have strength through your parents, your wife and husband, or your co-worker, but those strengths, they have those strengths to talent because God give them to talent. So you have to remember that you can change your life through Holy Spirit. So I want, as I am a political leader, political leaders. I just want to give two examples of who believe God strongly. I want to talk about one story that I wanted to talk about is the story of Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln visited the opposite candidate, who was a pastor. And the pastor at that time was preaching, asking the church members, those who want to go to the heaven raise your hands all members of the church who want to go to heaven raise their hands no one raised their hands and then

after that he asked those who want to go to hell, raise your hands. No one raised hands. And then he looked back and saw that Lincoln was slow and did not respond, like almost asleep. So his pastor, he got the seizing opportunity against the other candidate, Abraham Lincoln, and the candidate loudly said to Abraham Lincoln,

said, Mr. Lincoln, you jump out of your chair and reply loudly and say yes if you can. Say yes, if you can. And then, you know, Lincoln, he asking to Lincoln, same question. Do you want to go? Where do you want to go? So Lincoln, you know, said that, you know, I want to go to the, if I can, the National Assembly has the election next month, you know, I want to go to the Congress. So this is just one story, a very famous story that Lincoln is using the other positive, other, you know, the opposite candidate, the other positive, other, you know, the opposite candidate, you know, shitting the opportunity, but Lincoln wisely answered,
