Lately, I've been trying to be more intentional about what I wear, intentional about everything,
just choosing pieces that feel effortless, still put together, timeless, but also not overthinking it
every morning. It's why I keep going back to quince. Their pieces just make getting dressed
easier and I feel so classy. I feel elevated. The fits are flattering. The fabric is really
high quality. Everything is wearable day to day. I actually got this really, really,
beautiful yellow V-neck midi dress from them, and I paired it with some Italian leather sandals.
It's one of those outfits that just works. It feels polished but still comfortable. It's exactly
what I've been looking for. What surprises me, though, is the quality for the price.
Quince uses premium materials like European linen, organic cotton, but they cut out the
middleman. So everything is priced way lower than you'd expect. Refresh.

Where is daredevil?
Am I? Don't miss the return of Marvel television's daredevil born again.
So what's next?
We're going to take this city back.
In an all-new season, now streaming only on Disney Plus.
They're hunting us.
It's time we started hunting them.
I can work with that.
This should be tons of fun.
Marvel television's Daredevil, Born Again,
now streaming only on Disney Plus.
My family says they're moving out in a month,
and everybody is going to hold them through it.
Got a lot of.
You're sure?
Oh, yeah, they're like, yeah, they're like.
All right.
We need to talk about that line there in that phone call between Kendra and Joseph Dugger
while he was behind bars.
Because that right there, that one moment eludes to a lot that's been going on behind the scenes.
And while Joseph Dugger is out on bail now,
reportedly living with Kendra.
We'll get to that in just a bit because first we need to just process what Kendra said there.
We've got Kendra.
So let's set the stage here.
We've got Kendra on a recorded jail call talking about getting her own family,
her mom and dad and siblings out of a house, her family, the Caldwells.
They've been living in a home Joseph and Kendra Ducker built.
Her mom and dad are living there with Kendra's siblings,
her brothers and sisters, some who are as young as Kendra's own children.
And she's putting a deadline on it.
They need to be out.
And she is sounding honestly incredibly snarky about it,
all while talking to her husband, Joseph Dugger,
a man behind bars charged with a child.
And not just any child, but likely, likely a child related to Kendra,
likely a child living in that very home.
The possible victim of the man Kendra is talking to.
Let your mind go there.
And you know how you, when you start like pulling on a loose thread on a shirt, right?
And it starts unraveling and it becomes worse.
And then you start having regrets that you're pulling this thread.
But then you still keep pulling hoping it's just going to.
the stop and then all of a sudden there's a hole in your shirt where there used to just be a loose
thread. Well, when you start pulling on this thread, it leads to a much bigger story because
we have a reported family feud between the Duggers and the Caldwells that's looking real and
it's looking big and getting bigger and a situation that just keeps getting more and more
complicated. First, let's start with where things currently stand. As we know, Joseph Dugger is out of jail.
He posted a $600,000 bond after being arrested, and it's been reported that he is now back in
Arkansas with Kendra, his wife Kendra, the mother of his children. He only had to put up $60,000 to get out.
And while we did originally report that Jim Bob might have been the one to step in and handle that,
is now looking like Kendra may have played a much bigger role in getting her husband out of jail
than many of us realized. Because while Joseph was sitting in solitary confinement after his March 18th
arrest, Kendra was busy, like really busy. She had just gotten out of jail herself on March 20th,
and almost immediately she and Joseph started talking about how to bring in money. There's a jail call
from March 25th where they're literally going through a list of things that she could sell, trailers,
a four-wheeler, a pressure washer, a waterproof tarp, a wood splitter, just going on the list.
So all of our other trailers.
Okay.
You could try to sell the four-wheeler, which, you know, the four-wheelers kind of got some issues.
Like the transmission has some real, I have some other...
I only can get a mechanic to look at it, so we can...
Yeah, it's an older one.
I mean, if so you might as well, I'll try.
I have a wood splitter out there.
I have like a pressure washer, that kind of stuff.
So most of those are the all the other tools and cedars, stuff like that.
And she didn't stop there.
She moved everything out of their home so they could turn it into a rental property.
The goal is to create a steady stream of income, especially in case Joseph can't provide
financially moving forward.
I mean, and when I think about it, at least they're not in denial of what Joseph's charges
mean when it comes to legal consequences, I guess, like he might not be around to support Kendra,
right? I don't know. Anyway, nonetheless, during all of this, Kendra was physically struggling as
well. She told him on the phone, and I'm going to quote this, if you could pray for my health,
because I don't know, I've just been really, really fatigued in the last two days. I couldn't move
after moving the stuff downstairs, my body is turning off like a weighted blanket, end quote.
And Joseph responds by basically saying he's surprised she's lasted as long as she did given her
past health issues. And she just repeats, it's an absolute miracle. So she's dealing with legal
issues, selling off belongings, moving out of a house, trying to set up rental income,
and physically breaking down while doing it, all while the kids are not even with them.
Because that's the other part of this, right? Kendra cannot see her children for a month following
her own arrest and charges on child welfare charges, at least according to what Anna said in her emails
with Joseph, Anna Dugger, the wife of Josh Dugger, Joseph's older brother. And at first, I thought
that one month timeline was kind of this weirdly specific rule, like, who just decides, okay,
you can't see your kids for exactly 30 days. Because logically, you would think it would be more
open-ended, like until she fixes whatever led to CPS getting involved in the first place.
But the more I looked into how these cases actually work, it's not really a random timeline at all.
What usually happens is that when CPS removes children, a judge steps in almost immediately
and puts temporary rules in place until the next court date, which is often about a month later.
So that one month is less of a permanent rule and more of a pause button.
it gives the state time to investigate, assess the situation, and figure out what level of contact is safe, if any.
At that next hearing, they can decide whether visits start if they need to be supervised or if restrictions stay in place.
So it's not really you're good after 30 days.
It's more like no contact for now until the court takes another look at everything.
Regardless of what happens in that case, Joseph, on the other hand, is not allowed to be alone
with any minors, including his own children unsupervised, as part of his pre-trial release.
So while they're both out of jail, they're not actually back to normal life.
They're separated from their kids, dealing with court, dealing with money, and trying to
figure out what happens next.
And if Kendra decides to stay with Joseph, her children can't stay with them.
They have a court date coming up on April 29th for the child welfare charges in Arkansas,
and then Joseph also has his felony charges.
Florida, where he's already entered a not-guilty plea and requested a jury trial.
His next hearing in that case has reportedly moved to May 18th.
And really quick, let's talk about those charges again.
Joseph was arrested in connection to alleged sexual abuse of a nine-year-old girl during a 2020
family vacation to Panama City, Florida.
The victim is now 14 years old, just 14.
And on top of that, both he and Kendra are facing charges.
in Arkansas for endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment after authorities allegedly
found locks on the outside of bedroom doors in their home. So this is not just one case.
This is multiple cases in multiple states happening at the same time. And legally, their interests
may not even align anymore, Kendra and Joseph's interest. There are attorneys who have weighed in
saying Kendra getting her own lawyer is a huge deal. It suggests
That she's possibly going from the mindset of we, the we mindset, to a me and the kids mindset.
And that attorney said that if her main objective is to get the kids back, she may need to distance
herself from Joseph completely.
And I mean, if she gets the kids back, she can't even be with Joseph.
But now, let's bring in the Caldwell family, because this is where things get messy in a loose
thread pulling and putting a hole in my sweater.
sort of a way. We've actually been in the middle of a workspace refresh, and Dr. John is finally
giving his office a glow-up. It's been a long time coming. I know many of our listeners know.
And I am so excited, not just because it's been a long time coming, but because we just ordered
his new desk and chair from Article. And you are all going to see it very soon. We will have
picks. And of course, you'll see it on YouTube. It's just that it's still in the works,
so stay tuned. But what I love about article,
is how easy they make it to find pieces that really look elevated, but are also built to last.
Everything feels really intentional, like it's designed to fit together without having to
overthink it. And even just going through the process of picking things out, you can tell the
quality is there. Their furniture has that clean, modern feel, but it's still functional for
real life, which is exactly what we need in our household and our working office space.

Kendra's parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, are now asking for help.
They created a go-fund me saying, quote, my family is facing a difficult and urgent situation.
We are in need of support to cover legal fees and secure.
safe housing. This has been an incredibly stressful time and we are doing everything we can to protect
ourselves and move forward, end quote. They go on to say that the money would go toward legal
representation and finding a safe place to live saying that both are essential for their
well-being and peace of mind. They mention needing to rebuild and find safety. And here's the thing,
though. The alleged victim in Joseph's case, again, is likely another Caldwell daughter,
Kendra's own sister. And while that still hasn't been 100% confirmed, all of the evidence
taken together points to that being the case. And that evidence starts with the timing of the
Panama City vacation in 2020 and everything that's going on with the Caldwell family.
And if it isn't a member of their family, everything else that's happened would be extremely
coincidental. So now you have a situation where Kendra's parents are raising money, potentially
in connection to a case involving their own son-in-law who's been charged and their own daughter,
who is a victim. And to understand how we even got here, we have to go back a few years.
What Paul Caldwell is a mechanic. He also used to be the Dugger's pastor. Yeah, their pastor.
And the church provided him housing and a salary. But eventually, things fell apart, to say the least.
There were major conflicts between Paul and Jim Bob Dugger. It's been said that a lot of the centered around
IBLP teachings. We've talked a lot about those teachings in our past episodes. Paul is described as an
independent fundamentalist Baptist and reportedly did not agree with bringing IBLP material into the church.
Jim Bob wanted more of that influence, but allegedly Paul refused. There were also disagreements
about COVID regulations and issues surrounding Jim Bob allegedly not being honest about what his
son, Josh Dugger, and what Josh was being investigated for. Jim Bob not being honest about it.
It wasn't just one disagreement, in other words.
It was a lot of stuff.
Everything building up.
And ultimately, all of this boiled over and affected the church.
Jim Bob allegedly swayed the other church elders to push Pastor Paul Caldwell out.
I don't know the details.
But it sounds, honestly, from what I'm learning and what I have learned, a bit like a smear campaign headed by Jim Bob.
But again, I don't know, reading between the lines.
But what I do know is that Pastor Paul Caldwell lost.
his position. Thus, he lost his housing. He lost his income and his reputation was damaged.
According to this account, they essentially lost everything. But after that, Joseph and Kendra,
they stepped in. They gave her parents, Kendra's parents and young siblings, a home. Or at least
that's how it was presented publicly. But who knows the inside workings? Reportedly, though,
Joseph and Kendra sold a house they had built for themselves to Kendra's parents.
for $10,000 in 2021, which is extremely cheap, right?
I'd love a $10,000 house.
But then things changed again.
It's been reported that last year, Joseph and Kendra parceled off part of the land and essentially
took the house back out from under them.
But without their knowledge, without Kendra's parents' knowledge.
Then they started subdividing the property into multiple parcels.
At some point, the house was transferred back to Joseph and Kendra in 2025.
for zero dollars. So now there's this back and forth ownership situation, unclear agreements,
at least from what we can see, and rising tension clearly. So then can you imagine, just imagine
how it must have felt when Paul Caldwell allegedly finds out that one of his daughters
was allegedly victimized by Joseph Dugger on a family vacation nonetheless, where you
where you're supposed to be making core memories and having fun and feeling safe.
And that seems to be the breaking point.
It makes sense.
So now, let's go back to that jail call we started this episode with.
Kendra and Joseph talking about getting her parents out of the house,
laughing about it, saying they're going to hold them to a one-month deadline.
That doesn't seem random.
That's likely connected to everything.
Take a listen.
One more time.
My family said they're moving out.
in a month, everybody is going to hold them to it.
Got a lot of.
You're sure?
Oh, yeah, they're like, yeah, they're, like, anyway, so they're holding them to it.
Uh-huh.
And we'll also have to, I need to figure out all the stuff that I want to do over there.
I have, I already have a list out of that.
Oh, good, I thought so.
Where's the list?
Well, it's on my reminder.
Oh, gotcha.
Okay.
According to Paul Caldwell's GoFundMe account, they are trying to leave because they are concerned for their safety and facing legal challenges.
And at the same time, Kendra and Joseph are actively pushing them out.
And yes, while the Caldwells had already mentioned moving in Facebook Marketplace posts before the news about Joseph broke.
Yes, that's true.
It now does seem, though, like that could have been in preparation for what was to come.
But the Caldwell's GoFundMe was taken down pretty quickly, though, after it went public.
But not before people grabbed screenshots, and there's a few different reasons that could explain why it was possibly pulled.
Some people think it was a mass reporting, which definitely can happen, especially in a high profile situation where a lot of people have strong opinions and have taken sides.
But even beyond that, GoFundMe has pretty strict policies.
And if something raises red flags, it can get pulled fast.
One big issue could be how it was written. If a fundraiser is too vague, doesn't clearly explain where the money is going, or it involves an ongoing legal situation that can violate GoFundMe terms.
They're especially cautious with anything tied to potential criminal cases or child welfare situations because they don't want to be seen as facilitating or profiting off of that.
It's also possible there were questions about who created it or who the funds were actually going to or whether proper authorization was given.
So while mass reporting, it might have played a role.
There are a lot of built-in reasons why GoFundMe itself would step in and perhaps take something like that down.
However, the Caldwells are still reportedly accepting donations through Venmo.
But then on Wednesday, the GoFundMe was back up and public.
But it was different this time.
It states, quote, my family is facing a difficult and urgent situation.
we are in need to cover displacement expenses.
We will not be using these funds for legal expenses.
So a big change, which probably tells us why GoFundMe chose to take it down.
They don't want to get involved in anything legal.
An interesting change.
This is purely now for housing for the Caldwell family.
Right now, they've raised over $20,000 to help the family,
and we'll have a link to that in the description of the family.
this episode. They state, thank you so much for your care, concern, prayers, and donations during this
difficult time. Thank you even if it's just prayers. Your support means the world to us as we work to
rebuild and find safety. And then there's the internet speculation. People on Reddit and other
platforms have been going back and forth about what really happened between the two families, the
Caldwells and the Duggers. Some people are even calling the Caldwells grifters.
saying they had a large family without the financial means to support it.
Nine kids. Yeah, it's a lot of kids.
Or they're pointing out that they accepted a home that was originally built for Kendra and
Joseph. And look, people are going to have their opinions. No one is without blame here.
But even if, even if you don't agree with every decision Paul and Christina Caldwell have made
over the years, what they're going through right now did not start with them.
What they are going through right now, it starts with one person.
It traces back to Joseph Dugger.
Joseph Dugger confessed, according to charging docs.
Joseph Dugger was charged with abusing a child.
This is about Joseph Dugger and Joseph Dugger's actions,
and not how many kids the Caldwells choose to have
and whether or not they can afford them.
From everything that's been reported,
if Paul is the victim's father. He did what any father should do. He reported sexual abuse involving
his child, regardless of who the accused was, regardless of the public backlash he knew he might face,
regardless of the private backlash he knew he might face. That is not an easy decision,
especially knowing it could completely blow up. His older daughter, Kendra's life. Again, she's married to Joseph,
you know, Dugger, the accused, and Kendra and Joseph's children are Paul and Christina
Caldwell's grandchildren. And now it seems like the fallout from that decision to speak up for a
victim, a child victim, to speak up for the abused, has displaced the entire Caldwell family.
They are being pushed out of their home during an already incredibly sensitive time, not just for
them, but especially for the victim who is still a child and facing the pain.
and cost of what it means to speak up and tell the truth. I hope she knows that she did the right
thing and never second guesses herself. And that's the part that gets lost in all of this.
There is a young girl at the center of this who is dealing with something incredibly serious.
And now on top of that, her entire world is changing. Her family is under stress.
They're potentially being forced to move. There's tension with her older.
sister. She may feel like people are upset with her or like she caused this, which is something no
victim should ever feel. But those ripple effects are being made worse by the way the situation
is being handled. Because instead of focusing on her and her needs and her healing, Kendra is
focused on Joseph. And that's hard to ignore. In a situation like this, you would expect her to be
supporting her little sister, an alleged victim, making sure she feels safe, believed,
and protected, not spending that time on the phone reassuring the person accused of causing
all of this.
There's a part of running a business that no one really talks about, and it's all the back-in
stuff, payroll, onboarding, HR, the kind of things that can quietly eat up hours of your
week if you're not careful.
And that's why tools like Gusto makes such a difference.

In addition to everything we've already talked about, there have been other hints that this
situation is related to the Caldwells as well, one being that they've seemingly removed group
photos with Kendra from their Facebook page. Yeah.
Remove photos, take a look, family photos, public family photos on Facebook, and no Kendra.
They have a total of nine children.
There are eight kids in the photo when there should be nine.
Kendra's missing.
There was also something else in the jail calls that makes it seem like Kendra wants to pull away
not only from her parents but from her siblings as well.
In one call, Kendra tells Joseph that they no longer want Timmy working as a cleaner for their Airbnb listing.
And people online are speculating that this Timmy is referring possibly to Kendra's teen brother Timothy.
So, okay, let's zoom out now and let's look at everything together.
That is where things stand.
Joseph is out on Bond facing serious felony trials.
charges. Kendra is dealing with her own charges, separated from her children and possibly changing
her legal strategy. Their kids are out of their custody. They don't have their children. Their home is
being turned into a rental. Assets are being sold off. The Caldwells are trying to secure housing and
legal help while being pushed out of their home. And in the middle of all of this, there are recorded jail
calls where these decisions are being discussed in a way that at times feel surprisingly casual.
And it seems that while we were all originally worried that Kendra might not recognize her
options and that she knew that she could leave Joseph Dugger if she chose, now it seems that
not only is Kendra standing by her man. That's what we were worried about. But now it's more.
She is seeming to be turning her back on the family who raised her and likely distancing herself from the victim herself.
And what is the Dugger family narrative in all of this?
I ask because clearly Kendra is spending all of her time with the Duggers.
We learned that on the jail calls too.
The Duggers are rallying around Kendra.
They're housing Kendra, supporting Kendra, feeding Kendra and taking care of Kendra.
might I dare add controlling Kendra.
Yeah, controlling Kendra.
I don't say that lightly.
Many have speculated on a recent email that we read on our previous episode,
an email between Jim Bob Dugger to Joseph Dugger while he was in jail before he was bailed out.
And we've discussed how that email from his dad mentions Joseph's terrible decisions.
Terrible.
And the question is, what exactly does Jim Bob mean by terrible decision?
Is he talking about the crime itself?
Or is he talking about Joseph confessing and getting caught?
Because some of you had a very strong reaction to that one line about terrible decisions.
One of you wrote in comments on our episode,
When Jim Bob tells Joseph that he had made terrible decisions,
I don't think he was talking about the horrible and disgusting things he had done to the little girl.
I believe that he was talking about Joseph having confessed to the motivation twice
and law enforcement being able to hear his confession the second time around.
Now they won't be able to cover up for him and he will have to face the consequences.
And quote.
And then another one of you wrote this comment on our episode.
Is Jim Bob considering the bad decision to get the crime itself or simply,
the admission on the phone. I'm not sure what the bad decision is that he is referencing.
And here's another comment from one of you, our listeners.
Quote, do you think that maybe when they say they are praying for the victim,
they mean Joseph and not the actual victim? The statement is super vague and I feel like they could
see him as a victim of persecution. And thank you for your comments. I do read your comments.
The more that I have looked into this case, and let's talk about the recent things here, the bail being bonded out right away, the not guilty plea that Joseph made, the way Kendra has been pulled in close, very close to the Ducker family, the tension and feud with the Caldwell family, and it being Pastor Paul Caldwell who liked.
allegedly reported the abuse to law enforcement. It starts to raise a bigger question for me
about the Dugger narrative. Is this about accountability or is this about control, loyalty, and
choosing sides? Because what we may be watching unfold here isn't just a criminal case.
It's a family fracture. And maybe even a quiet punishment.
of the people who did speak up and a desire to punish the Caldwells and put distance between
Kendra and her parents after Pastor Paul Caldwell did what a good father should do,
tell police, and get Joseph to confess.
So I'll ask you the same question that you asked me.
When Jim Bob says to Joseph, he's made a terrible decision, what do you think he means in that in that email?
to a son behind bars. And we do, again, read the comment. So thank you for sharing your thoughts.
And the biggest question now is what happens next? Does Kendra continue to distance herself
legally from Joseph while staying emotionally aligned with Joseph? What happens to the Caldwell family
as they try to stabilize things for their family? And how much more is going to come out as both of these
cases move forward. Because if this is what we're seeing before, everything is fully on the table,
there's likely a lot more still underneath the surface. And the thing about secrets is,
once they start to surface, they usually don't stop. At the end of the day, though, this is not
just a legal story or internet drama. There are real people, real consequences, and a victim, a victim, a
child victim at the center of it deserves to be the priority over everything. And the question,
at least for me that lingers after everything I've seen thus far, is this. Who is actually
being protected? Because that jail call, it wasn't just a conversation. It was a window.
And now that we've seen through it, it's getting harder to unsee what's on the other side.
