Lately, I've been trying to be more intentional about what I wear, intentional about everything,
just choosing pieces that feel effortless, still put together, timeless, but also not overthinking it
every morning. It's why I keep going back to quince. Their pieces just make getting dressed
easier and I feel so classy. I feel elevated. The fits are flattering. The fabric is really
high quality. Everything is wearable day to day. I actually got this really, really,
beautiful yellow V-neck midi dress from them, and I paired it with some Italian leather sandals.
It's one of those outfits that just works. It feels polished but still comfortable. It's exactly
what I've been looking for. What surprises me, though, is the quality for the price. Quince
uses premium materials like European linen, organic cotton, but they cut out the middleman.
So everything is priced way lower than you'd expect. Refresh.

Hello, gems.
We now have a suspect in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance.
We also now have activity reported in the Bitcoin address.
TMZ first broke that there is now activity in the Bitcoin address that has been linked to alleged ransom emails to the media.
They would not report the amount.
Well, Kagan, a Tucson station, has reported that there is indeed activity in the Bitcoin account.
That is listed in the ransom email.
but that activity is less than $300.
We're going to get into that more.
I see a lot of you asking questions about the Bitcoin activity.
I'm asking all the same questions.
And honestly, I needed a lot of time to have process a lot going on.
We're going to go through everything.
So stick with me because we officially, again, now have a suspect.
Law enforcement has officially called.
called this image, a suspect, although they have no name, but we have seen their eyes now glowing
in the light of home surveillance footage. We've seen those latex-looking gloves fumbling with Nancy's
doorbell cam in the early morning hours before she vanished. We've seen the suspect's backpack.
It's chilling, looking very full, full of what we don't know, but very full as they approach
Nancy Guthrie's home in the middle of the night,
a time that no visitor should ever be visiting an 84-year-old grandmother,
let alone a visitor wearing a ski mask,
and removing what seems to be her biggest security,
a camera equipped to capture any movement
outside her Tucson, Arizona home.
And the house, the crime scene,
is nestled in, it's breathtaking, the Catalina foothills.
I've been there.
It's a place where, honestly, homes are being,
Jaylan's cameras usually catch wildlife like coyotes or havelina, not a masked intruder who is
armed and seemingly determined with a plan. But it is Tuesday, February 10th, 2026. It's day 10 in
the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, a case that has grabbed all of our attention, the world's
attention, because Nancy is the mother of the beloved and well-known today show anchor Savannah
Guthrie. But before we go any further, this is me now Wednesday morning because there was
breaking news that came in while we were live recording the Tuesday night episode. And then
this breaking news continued to develop overnight into Wednesday morning. A couple
days before TMZ. Breaking news. Breaking news, guys. Stick with me. Oh, go. Hold on. Stay with me,
guys.
Caroline, I see this question.
Okay, look at this guys.
Breaking, the Pima County Sheriff's
Department with assistance from the FBI
has detained an individual for questioning
in connection with the abduction of Nancy
Guthrie and law enforcement official briefed
on the investigation told ABC News.
Caroline, we're going to wait on your question.
Oh, my goodness.
So yeah, this case is changing every hour, which is why we are going live with our updates on YouTube, but we are bringing you the latest info we have as we follow this case closely.
So again, a man was detained last night as we were live on YouTube and they were detained for questioning and connection with Nancy's disappearance.
He later identified himself as Carlos.
He says investigators searched his house in Rio Rico.
this is south of Tucson, about an hour from Tucson, near the Mexico border,
and that he was released after several hours of questioning early this morning, Wednesday morning, February 11th.
And then as of this recording, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has not officially confirmed his release,
although he says he was released and we're seeing interviews with him.
And law enforcement has not publicly named him, though, as a suspect or even a person of interest.
He did, again, speak to several outlets, including TV News Now, take a listen.
You were apprehended for questioning.
How would you describe what happened to you?
Terrifying.
Something I didn't do for something.
I was being like, I felt like I was being kidnapped, bro, because they didn't tell me anything at the beginning.
And investigators showed up to this house, or were you the one who's pulled over in the traffic stop?
I was the only one that was pulled over at the traffic stop.
Where was that?
Right here by Chihuahua.
Okay, and you were taken into custody at that point?
Yeah.
I was being detained.
Detained, okay.
I was detained the whole time.
Okay, where?
Where were they holding?
And the back of a car.
Back of the back of the car.
And then they moved me into a Pima County Sheriff.
Were you being questioned in the car?
At the Morana car, I was being questioned,
but they only asked me for my first name,
my last name, my date of birth, and my social.
Okay.
What were they asking you about?
That were my whereabouts.
Okay.
Where did I work?
Where was I and all that, but...
Are you ever up in Tucson?
Yeah, I work in Tucson.
What do you do?
GLSs, different packages.
Okay.
think you might deliver it a package to Nancy Gutther's house?
I don't know. It might have been a possibility out of all.
Yeah. Do you ever deliver like Amazon packages or anything?
Well, it's kind of the same thing. Yeah.
And then one more breaking development overnight coming to us Wednesday morning.
This one coming from TMZ. TMZ says that they received a new message just before 5 a.m. Pacific.
But this note or email does not appear to be from the person who originally demanded
millions of dollars. TMZ described this email as someone claiming they have information about
the kidnapper. And according to TMZ, the sender says they've tried and failed to reach Cameron
Guthrie and Annie Guthrie by email and text. Those are Savannah's siblings. And then they make a
demand of their own. The message says, quote, if they want the name of the individual involved,
then I want one Bitcoin to the following wallet. Time is more than relevant, end quote.
So TMZ says the Bitcoin address included appears legitimate. And importantly, though, very
importantly, it's a different address than the one tied to the original significant ransom note,
alleged ransom note yet significant ransom note. TMZ says they've forwarded this new message to the FBI.
Now, we need to be careful here. There is no confirmation.
this person is legitimate. This could be someone trying to exploit the case again, inject chaos or cash in and on the desperation of a family living a nightmare.
But it's also notable that one Bitcoin is roughly the mid five figures right now. And TMZ points out that it's in the same ballpark as the reward currently being offered up to $50,000 for information leading to Nancy Guthrie's recovery or an arrest and conviction.
So here's the bottom line as we head into the rest of this episode.
Investigators are working in active case with a newly released suspect image.
We'll get into that more.
A detained man who says he was searched and released.
Activity tied to the original ransom wallet.
And now a separate message demanding payment for a name, which law enforcement is now reviewing.
And if you want my personal take on this latest info, it reads less like a tip to me and more like someone trying to sell a name for Bitcoin.
But nonetheless, back to our original episode, recorded live Tuesday evening with everything you need to know.
Stick with me.
It's day 10 in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the case that has grabbed all of our attention, the world's attention.
because Nancy is the mother of the beloved and well-known today show anchor Savannah Guthrie.
And it was just hours ago, just hours ago that investigators released the most significant
and disturbing update in this case so far. And I was live earlier on YouTube. I see many of you
that were with me then with the footage. It was breaking. We took in our first reactions
together. Honestly, those were truly my first reactions. I was processing it with all of you. And since then,
I've still been sort of taking it in. I had to take some time. I have a lot more to say,
which is why I'm back. And a lot more has also happened, again, activity in that Bitcoin
address. And it's interesting because for days, right, we all worried that there wasn't footage that
had been saved. I mean, the sheriff made that clear. That
was heartbreaking, right? We worried. No footage captured this disappearance of an 84-year-old
grandmother. And yet today, I think now we're all worried about what we're seeing. It's shifted,
right? Like what the FBI has released is honestly chilling. The more I watch it, honestly,
it's terrifying. And I'm not, I'm not using that word lightly. In fact, I try to
to steer clear of that word because it seems like everything in true crime is terrifying or
these adjectives and this this is terrifying it's what nightmares are made out of i can imagine how
the guthrie family is feeling and i'm sure they saw that well before we ever knew about it um but
the images and the videos show a masked individual wearing gloves appearing to be armed and
the FBI says that they are indeed armed, so we can take their word for it, and carrying a backpack
again that appears full. And I have asked this so many times, what is inside the backpack? That question
is haunting me. What is in that backpack? You know, maybe if they had intentions to rob her, the backpack
would be empty. It is not empty. What is in that backpack? This person,
so far as the clearest visual that investigators have and the public has of a person that they believe
may be responsible for Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. And law enforcement again, now officially calling
the person a suspect. In fact, they reported this to Brianna Whitney, someone that has been on
our channel and sharing her boots on the ground reporting. Yes, a suspect. So who are they?
And why are they at Nancy's front door?

TMZ is now reporting activity in the Bitcoin account associated with the ransom note.
And so, you know, does that mean the ransom is about to be paid? What happens next, right?
So what TMZ stated, and let's just read this together, let me pull this up, TMZ stated, first off, their headline.
and TMZ's been on this case, you know, receiving a ransom note.
Their headline is Nancy Guthrie Knapper is from Tucson, law enforcement believes.
Kind of an important headline, too.
And an update, 4.34 p.m. Pacific time.
We've seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note,
which was sent to us here at TMZ and also to two TV.
stations in Tucson, K-Gun and K-W-L-D.
For various reasons, though, TMZ is not going to reveal the amount,
but the activity happened in the last 25 minutes.
That was at 4.34 p.m.
And Kagan was like, no, we're going to tell you exactly how much.
Well, not exactly.
They're going to tell us, he told us that it was less than $300.
Less than $300.
So let's speculate what this can mean.
Plenty of people certainly have this Bitcoin address now.
If you realize that it's coming into newsroom, a lot of people work in newsroom.
So while the ransom email, the alleged ransom email to this, we still don't fully understand the authenticity of the ransom, or, you know, if this is the kidnapper.
But these significant ransom emails, law enforcement has called them significant, are going to newsrooms.
A lot of people work in newsrooms.
A lot of people have seen this Bitcoin address, everyone at TMZ at the local stations who work there.
Then you throw in why then is somebody maybe sharing this money.
Maybe they're testing it, right?
I, for those that have used Bitcoin addresses before, for those that use Venmo or Zelle, do you test it?
Is the money going to go through?
Is this right?
Let's find out.
Is somebody testing to see if money is going to go through?
I don't know.
Is somebody that just knows the address sending somebody less than $300?
We don't know.
But what matters is that there is activity.
for the first time in this Bitcoin address that is connected to ransom emails.
So I'm going to go over everything anyone needs to know on day 10 of the investigation
and everything leading up to today that matters because a lot has happened since our last
full rundown of the investigation, but we have been watching with all of you.
But I wanted the way my brain works, I wanted to put it together all in a concise
sort of way that we can take it all in to process what today means when we when we discuss the last
nine days because this case is changing daily hourly so please also hit subscribe hit notifications
stick with me as i lay this all out so when the fbi released the newly recovered images and videos
from the nest doorbell camera at nancy guthrie's home earlier today a statement was released
along the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI said the footage shows, quote,
an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door
in the morning of her disappearance.
Clearly. So terrifying. The footage was shared publicly by Savannah Guthrie herself and FBI
director Cash Patel, who oversees federal investigations and public communications.
in major cases like this one, and this is certainly major.
So in her Instagram post, Savannah Guthrie Nancy's daughter, who should be hosting the Olympics
right now in Italy, but is instead searching for her mother, I can't imagine, she shared the
video of the suspect approaching her mother's home wearing a dark jacket in light color
pants, carrying a backpack, and tampering with the doorbell camera.
And Savannah wrote with the video, quote, I'm going to read this here, someone out there recognizes this person.
We believe she is still out there. Bring her home. That was her full quote. And alongside the photo she shared, she did write, though, that they believe her mother is alive. They still believe that Nancy is alive.
Cash Patel also released several black and white images along with the two short video clips of the same individual.
The footage is so terrifying. The footage shows the person again wearing gloves, a mask, khaki, sneakers, and a backpack standing at Nancy Guthrie's front door in those early morning hours.
And in one clip, the individual walks up to the door,
with their head down, which is interesting because I do, you know, wonder, did they know the
doorbell camera was there? Did they not? Many have been speculating about this online, but in one
clip, one of the clips, this person walks up to the door with their head down. The person's eyes
are visible through holes in the mask. Patel explained how difficult it was to recover this footage,
he said, over the last eight days, the FBI in Pima County Sheriff's Department have been working
closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from
Nancy Guthrie's home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors,
including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located
in back-end systems. Working with our partners, as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered
these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered
with the camera and Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance. So that is from our,
from FBI director, Cash Patel. So the Guthrie family we now know was notified about the images
before they were released publicly. Makes sense. I'm sure they know a lot more than we know.
but neither the family nor investigators recognize the individual,
which is interesting because I think the first thing we all wonder is,
do the Guthrie's recognize this person?
We know that law enforcement has been at any Guthrie's home that lives 10 minutes away.
We know that many people have been speculating about family being involved,
about band members, about other people that might be.
be known to Nancy Guthrie.
But neither the family nor investigators recognize this individual, which is why the FBI
decided to release the footage in hopes that someone may recognize the person, the clothing,
or the items being carried.
It makes sense.
This is when those in Indiana released Bridge Guy in the Delphi case or many other times
we see this type of investigation.
We need the public's help.
And Savannah Guthrie again, you know, she also recently shared, we need the public's help.
Before this video was even released, clearly they are asking for tips.
And since the release, people online have been analyzing every frame, the backpack, the jacket, the shoes, the mask, and any potential identifiers, including yours truly.
In some images, it does appear the individual may have a mustache.
I'm also very carefully trying to label this person an individual because many are disagreeing about the gender.
The majority of people see a man.
I see a man, but there is argument.
So the FBI, excuse me, has now stated, definitely it is a man.
All right, that's nice to know.
The individual is male.
although many might disagree with the FBI,
but the FBI is dating male, I thought male.
So in some of the images, though, it also appears that this male, this individual, may also have a mustache.
And there's also speculation that the person could be using a bite light.
We were talking about that earlier, a flashlight in their mouth.
There's actually a name for it.
It's called a bite light.
and that may explain the illuminated mouth area seen in some photos.
Law enforcement hasn't confirmed either detail that I know of unless that happened since I've been live.
Someone let me know.
But there is such thing as a bite light.
It could have also been a simple flashlight that they decided to put in their mouth.
But also notable was no vehicle is visible in the footage.
So that makes me ask.
Did a car arrive later after the cameras were.
were disabled was the vehicle parked out of frame. That's also likely. Those questions remain
unanswered. And then this I really wanted to break down, honestly. So the person, let's talk about
this. The person grabs flowers, right? It looks like they grab flowers from the yard to seemingly
hide behind while tampering with the doorbell camera.
And so now we know what those flowers were laying scattered on Nancy's porch.
That was filmed by reporter Brian Enten.
Remember sort of the mystery behind those flowers?
I had wondered if they were left by passerbyes, right, honoring Nancy, hoping to bring her home, filmed by reporter Brian Enten.
Now we know what those flowers were, though, that they might have actually been held by those latex glove-looking hands.
And so now I am wondering, admittedly, why didn't law enforcement take those flowers into evidence?
And I've wondered, could they hold DNA from the suspect?
Yes, he was wearing gloves.
But if he had a flashlight or a bite light in his mouth and any saliva possibly transferred onto those flowers,
could they have held answers we no longer have?
I don't know, but I wonder with many of you.
This footage also puts renewed focus on where investigators have been searching.
So over the weekend, law enforcement was seen examining the septic tank of Nancy Guthrie's, right?
And a nearby manhole on the property that naturally also raises questions.
What were they looking for in those areas?
Was anything flushed?
Was anything discarded?
And so now I want to tie in all of this new information that we have into what we already
know about Nancy and her disappearance.
So let's try to process this all together.
Nancy Guthrie, we know, is 84 years old.
She was dropped off at her home outside Tucson, Arizona on the night of January 31st.
And she was reported missing around.
noon on February 1st the very next day. Her family believes, again, that she is still alive,
and they continue to ask for the public's help. In a video that was actually just posted yesterday,
Savannah Guthrie urges people to report anything unusual to law enforcement saying,
we are at an hour of desperation and we need your help, an hour of desperation and they need
our help. And now the FBI has also said,
it needs our help. And the FBI has also said it isn't aware of any continued communication,
though, between the Guthrie family and the suspected kidnappers. We're now officially past the second
deadline mentioned in the alleged ransom letters as well. We all held our breath all day yesterday
because that was the second deadline in the alleged ransom letters. That was Monday. And what that
actually means right now isn't clear. Again, people can see activity in the Bitcoin address so you can
know if there is millions of dollars put into this account. So we don't know what that means that the
second deadline has passed. Every group has someone who insists on doing things the hard way.
Still paying for things they don't need, still overpaying because that's how it's always been.

I see mintmobile.com.
But what is clear is that Nancy has been missing now for 10 long days.
An 84-year-old mother and grandmother and churchgo are missing for 10 long days.
In the past few days, we have seen renewed searches.
We've seen federal escalation, newly recovered evidence, and a family that's publicly saying they will do anything to bring her home.
The FBI has confirmed it is working around the clock on this case.
Additional personnel have been brought in from field offices across the country, including Phoenix.
A command post has been established in Tucson with crisis management, experts, analysts, and investigative teams.
The FBI's cellular analysis survey team, also known as Cast, C-A-S-T-L-C-C-C-L-Caps.
they are also assisting. They are a big deal. They will essentially, in layman's terms, they are checking pings. The cast data system is collecting pings at cell towers. That was also used a lot in the Coburger case. The team is collecting and analyzing digital data, including cell phone activity, financial records, and social media information, and around Nancy Guthrie's home activity has also intensified. So residents in the
the neighborhood, they received a letter informing them that additional searches would be conducted,
right? We know this. Roadways near the home have been restricted. Media, they were asked,
you know, days ago to leave the street and then investigators were seeing searching nearby
desert terrain and using flashlights. I mean, the search is intense. And this desert brush,
this landscape is intense. I mean, these, the cac die around here. They are, they are not kind
to people searching terrain. The Pima County,
Sheriff's Office confirmed detectives are continuing follow-up at the home and in the surrounding
neighborhood. They've said there are no scheduled press briefings, no pressers, and no one-on-one
interviews unless something significant breaks. But of course, every hour, it seems like something
significant breaks. And today, something significant definitely broke. No pressers. No press briefings,
no one, no, you know, no interviews. Although Brianna, Whitney was able to
get an interview where they confirmed suspect.
But investigators were also seen going door to door in the neighborhood after confirmation
of a new message related to Nancy's disappearance authorities are reviewing that message
for authenticity.
They've reiterated there is a reward, though, already for $50,000 for information leading
to Nancy's recovery or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved.
Details of the message haven't been released, but multiple reporters, again, have confirmed
the message didn't include a new ransom demand and didn't provide still a way for family to
communicate, which is strange. There's still, yeah, and this is last week's note for those to remind
there hasn't been a recent note as of today. So last week's note to clarify, two rounds of notes.
The first round, three emails, the two local Tucson stations and then to TMZ. Then the second round,
one note to a local Tucson station.
And this is what reporters are saying about it.
And according to time around that note,
there was still no proof of life and no open line of communication.
But we don't know if that's changed.
Anchor Mary Coleman reported that the new note
contains something the sender believes will prove
that they are the same person or people who sent the first note.
KOLD News confirmed they received the message via email and then they immediately notified law enforcement.
And then anchor Brooke Wagner said they aren't releasing details out of respect for the family.
So we were all again holding our breath yesterday as that second deadline was coming.
She did say also Brooke Wagner also pointed out that it's not the same IP address as the first message,
but the sender appears to have used the same type of secure server to hide.
that IP address. She also confirmed the note contains something that the sender thinks proves they're
the same person. So interesting, right? So let's talk about all of these ransom letters themselves.
A lot of skepticism around these ransom letters, including me. It's very confusing. And again,
you know, according to what we can see, nobody's, nobody's paid a ransom and two deadlines have
passed. So two ransom were sent to the media outlets again.
the first demanded millions of dollars in Bitcoin, reportedly $6 million and included, again,
those two deadlines.
The first deadline was February 5th at 5 p.m., which passed that passed with no contact.
The second deadline, again, was yesterday, February 9th at 5 p.m.
That letter explicitly stated this would be the only communication and that family wouldn't
be contacted again.
This is extremely unusual.
The family has no way to contact whoever sent the letter, which is why they've been
publicly pleading for proof of life. But again, Savannah came on on a video yesterday,
and the three siblings also came on and kind of did communicate. We hear you, we understand.
So I do think there could be some communication that we don't know about. But I don't know.
It's very strange. Harvey Levin from TMZ analyzed the first letter, right? That first letter that came,
they were the ones to break the news of the ransom letter.
And he said it was well written, structured,
he said it was deliberate.
He said it didn't appear rushed.
The writer seemed educated and spent a significant time crafting it.
He also said it included details publicly not known at the time
and a real Bitcoin address.
And we now know that those details were a floodlight
and about an Apple Watch.
But according to the letter Nancy is alive,
she's scared and aware of the ransom demands.
I spoke about this, just how this is like psychological warfare.
I spoke about this with Bini-Politan.
Like, just can you imagine, your mother's alive, she's scared, and she's aware of the ransom demands.
A horrendous thing to do to anyone.
Harvey Levin also pointed out a phrase suggesting the writer may be connected to that Tucson area,
not necessarily inside Tucson, but tied to it because it implied Nancy.
would be returned there if the deadline was met.
And now interesting full circle,
tonight's headline at TMZ.
Again, let me read it to you.
Tonight, Nancy Guthrie Knapper is from Tucson Law Enforcement Believes.
So that was posted this afternoon by TMZ.
So that's also interesting, right?
They have reiterated that twice.
They've always felt that because of this first,
initial ransom letter. And it's important because the letter that was sent to TMZ and the, again,
two Tucson-based television stations, so the first email, that raises the possibility of local
knowledge rather than any international crime, which has been speculated about. And the Bitcoin
wallet tied to the ransom, though, again, showed a balance of zero with no transactions until
this afternoon. So again, I just want to read you one more time what TMZ,
is reporting today at 4.34 p.m. Pacific time. We've seen activity for the first time in the
Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note, which was sent to us here at TMZ, and also to
two TV stations in Tucson for various reasons. We are not going to reveal the amount, but the
activity happened in the last 25 minutes. So that means it happened after 4 p.m. Pacific time.
And again, we have heard from Kagan, a local station who stated that the amount deposited into the Bitcoin account was less than $300.
So clearly that's not millions of dollars in ransom money that was requested for a deadline yesterday that we know about.
again, this, I'm just going to admit, this makes me speculate that perhaps there is communication now going on.
I don't know. I don't even know if these ransom emails are real. So if they are real,
I wouldn't be surprised if more communication is happening than the public knows about. Because the
family has said in a video statement that they are willing to pay and that they understand what the
person is asking, that was the second statement that all three siblings may take.
together that Savannah Guthrie is posting on her Instagram account. There was a first statement
asking for proof of life. And then the second statement by the brother and then the third statement
with all three of them sitting there. And they said they are willing to pay, but they have no way
to communicate with the sender. The family videos, it's interesting. Again, they really have evolved.
So let's just go over the family videos. Let's lay these out, okay? February 4th, Savannah, Cameron,
and Annie, they released their first Instagram video together, right? Every fourth. And they describe
Nancy that she's kind, that she's faithful, she's loyal, she's a fiercely loving woman of goodness and
light. They talk about her health and the importance of proper medical care. They're worried about her.
They addressed rumors of the ransom note and they said, we want to hear from you. We're ready to listen.
then, interestingly enough, the very next day on February 5th, Cameron posts his solo video,
directly addressing whoever might have their mother.
And he said, they hadn't heard from them and again, needed proof of life.
He said, we need you to reach out and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward.
That was from Cameron, the oldest Guthrie sibling, the oldest of Nancy.
these Nancy's three children. And then on February 7th, so a couple days later, all three siblings
appear together again, and they're holding hands. And it's Savannah, that's a spokesperson when all
three of them are sitting there. And Savannah's in the center. And Savannah states that they'd
received their message, your message, was quote, your message, referencing a note sent to K-O-L-D.
It was a little cryptic.
It was confusing, but I believe it's referencing the note sent to KOLD.
And she begged for their mother's return and said, we beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her.
A lot of people thought, as she said, celebrate her.
I heard celebrate with her.
This is the only way we'll have peace.
We received your message and we understand.
We beg you now to return our mother to us.
so that we can celebrate with her.
This is the only way we will have peace.
This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.
Again, for those that speculated whether or not Savannah said,
celebrate her or celebrate with her,
either way the family has stated they believe that Nancy is still alive.
And then she also, again, said for the first time,
this is very valuable to us, and we will pay.
I think that's why we all sat with baited breath,
because we knew that yesterday, February 9th, was this alleged second deadline and that perhaps
would be seeing activity in this Bitcoin address.
But instead of activity on the Bitcoin address on February 9th, Monday, Savannah posted a video
alone.
This was her first time posting a video alone, asking the public for help and thanking people
for praying.
And we will watch it in just a little bit.
She said, we believe that somehow, some way she's feeling these.
prayers and that God is lifting her even in this moment and in this darkest place.
She then also reiterated, we believe their mother is still out there.
Our mother is still out there.
She was taken and we don't know where and we need your help.
We're at an hour of desperation and we need your help.
Let's play this real quick.
Hi there, everybody.
I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we,
enter into another week of this nightmare.
I just want to say, first of all,
thank you so much for all of the prayers
and the love that we have felt my sister and brother and I
and that our mom has felt because we believe that
somehow, some way she is feeling these prayers
and that God is lifting her even in this moment
and in this darkest place.
We believe our mom is still out there.
We need your help.
Law enforcement is working tirelessly
around the clock trying to bring her home,
trying to find her.
She was taken and we don't know where.
And we need your help.
So I'm coming on just to ask you,
not just for your prayers,
but no matter where you are,
even if you're far from Tucson.
If you see anything, you hear
anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement,
we are at an hour of desperation. An hour of desperation. It definitely had a different tone. I am receiving
some breaking news during this live that according to those there, that the FBI's elite hostage
rescue team is in Tucson right now.
Sources are telling this to Brian Enten.
The FBI's elite hostage rescue team is in Tucson.
So we will keep going while we wait for additional breaking updates.
I just want to walk through the timeline then.
On January 31st at 5.32 p.m. again, Nancy traveled to a local family members home.
We assume that is Annie Guthrie.
and Tomaso Sione at 9.48 p.m.
she was dropped off at home.
And let's point out that she traveled to a local family's home with an Uber.
That's important.
The Uber driver has been questioned.
That's pretty much all we've heard.
At 9.48 p.m. she was dropped off at her home.
The garage door opened at 9.50 p.m. 9.50 p.m.
The garage door closed.
And then on February 17th at 147 a.m., the doorbell camera
disconnected. At 2.12 a.m. software detected a person on the camera. We wondered if that had maybe
been wildlife. We didn't know. And we'd also heard that no video had been saved. So, or so we thought.
Now we know that it was indeed a person. And thanks to backends, whatever that means, we now have
video. And it's terrifying. At 228 a.m. Nancy's pacemaker app disconnected from her phone at 1150.
6 a.m. Family checked on her. At 12.03 p.m. a 911 call was placed. At 1215 p.m. patrol arrived.
Family only looked for her for seven minutes total. I think that's important to know because it was
first reported that they looked for an hour. Clearly they saw something in the home that told them
things were not okay. So seven minutes went by. They call 911. At 12.15 p.m. patrol arrives. And then she
was reported missing around noon. On February 3rd, blood was found at or near the front porch,
right where the suspect is seen. DNA later confirmed that that blood, which it looks like
blood spatter, belonged to Nancy. Sheriff Chris Nanos had originally said that he was frustrated
and disappointed the cameras didn't capture usable images. Nancy didn't have an active camera
subscription. Motion was logged, but no video footage was saved or recoverable, according to Nanos.
He even told the AP, the Associated Press, and I'll say this in quotes, it is concerning.
It actually is almost disappointing because you got your hopes up. But now, today, we know that
video did save to back-end systems. Again, whatever that means, if you understand what that means,
let me know, but we have it. We have the footage. And I originally honestly thought that today,
today's footage would be from a previously unaccounted for camera that was recovered from
the roof on Friday evening. Remember that? Because all of a sudden, hey, there's a camera
on Nancy Guthrie's roof. And the sheriff seemed so sure there was no doorbell video that I thought
when NBC announced it today, and that is Savannah Guthrie's network is NBC. So when NBC announced
it, by the way, there's going to be breaking news later today on this day 10 of her disappearance,
that it would maybe be recovered from the roof.
But it wasn't.
It was doorbell video that we didn't think there was.
And it was more chilling and more close up and more frightening than I could have ever imagined.
And we still don't know what that rooftop camera captured, if anything, at all.
We have no idea.
We don't know about that.
Investigators were also seen towing a vehicle that was inside Nancy's garage.
They searched the roof.
They searched vegetation.
the septic tank behind her home.
Sunday, at least two investigators were seen examining that septic tank.
They were using a long stick and a flashlight.
And then when they finish, they replaced the lids.
Detectives continue follow-up at multiple locations.
Law enforcement is also looking into a vehicle of interest.
It's a Circle K on Oracle Road.
And it was visited by law enforcement after a tip regarding a vehicle.
vehicle, officials have not commented further about that vehicle of interest at a Circle K on
Oracle Road. But the Circle K is, this is interesting, according to, again, on location reporter
Brian Enten, that Circle K is closer to Annie Guthrie's house than it is to Nancy Guthrie's home.
And I think that wasn't clear to a lot of us listening, not in Tucson. So according to Brian
Nenton, that Circle K where there was an alleged vehicle of interest days ago is closer to Annie
Guthrie's home than Nancy Guthrie's home. So her daughter, Annie, sister, older sister to Savannah
Guthrie. Neighbors reported suspicious activity weeks before Nancy disappeared, including a white
unmarked van and a man who fled a yard after being startled by a light. That's interesting,
too. We still don't know about that, right?
And so now let's talk about the fake ransom message. And yes, I'm talking about the known fake
ransom message because that has caused a lot of confusion. There are, again, a lot of ransom emails
going on. There is the first batch of the first to three people. There's the second one to one local
station. And then there's this confirmed fake ransom message. And on February 5th, the FBI arrested
Los Angeles man named Derek.
And he's accused of sending that fake Bitcoin ransom text to Annie Guthrie,
the sister of Savannah, the daughter of Nancy, and her husband, Tomaso Sione.
So investigators, I mean, if you want to know how quickly investigators figure this one out,
Derek used a virtual phone number tied to an email account with his full name.
So there you go.
The IP address traced to his California home.
So there you go.
He admitted sending the messages, so he confessed, after finding the family's contact info online.
And one of the texts read, did you get the Bitcoin? We're waiting on our end for the transaction.
So he's charged right now with intent to transmit a ransom demand and making harassing phone calls.
And the FBI confirmed these texts are not connected whatsoever to the ransom letter sent to the media.
Prosecutor said that he learned of a family.
family with a horrific trauma and saw that as an opportunity for personal gain, end quote.
Derek did not enter a plea at his Friday hearing and then he was released on a $20,000 bond
thanks to his mother who is retired.
She got her little boy out.
He must submit to computer searches, maintain only one cell phone, and have no contact with
victims or witnesses.
At that time, Sheriff Nanos emphasized that no suspects had been named.
so at the time of Derek's arrest, and that no one, though, had also been eliminated,
and that publicly naming suspects is reckless and harmless.
And he warned that speculation of suspects and persons of interest can damage the investigation,
as well as damage innocent people.
And this is interesting.
Take this for what it is.
The Guthrie family is reportedly considering least.
legal action against reporter Ashley Banfield for claiming Nancy's son-in-law was or is the prime
suspect. I don't know where Ashley Banfield is with that now, but was is the prime suspect.
So Banfield alleged that investigators took a car belonging to Nancy Guthrie, the sister of
Savannah, and connected it to Annie's husband, Tomaso Sioni. The sheriff's department has
denied these claims, completely denied these claims.
claims. Hollywood insider, Rob Schuter reported that the Guthrie family began consulting litigators.
And Shudder was quoted by both AOL and Yahoo and Yahoo as saying, quote, you can't flow accusations like that and hide behind disclaimers.
This dragged innocent people into a nightmare, end quote. But I want to be clear, no lawsuit has been filed.
And I have a hard time imagining that that's where the Guthrie's are putting their focus right now.
I think they have bigger issues. But I also want to read.
reiterate the Ashley Banfield, who is a very seasoned journalist and the former News Nation host,
stands by her reporting and says her law enforcement source is impeccable and ironclad.
You know, it's interesting. That whole conversation, I bring it up. I bring it up because it has brought
a widespread debate about how independent journalists and this changing world of where we're
getting our information, many from independent journalists, now not connected to network,
or TV stations or newspapers.
These are independent journalists now in the digital world,
how we, they, us handle information that we receive
in ongoing and active investigations.
They don't have the answer to it,
but it has been an interesting discussion
that I think needs to happen.
And at this time, law enforcement have not named
Tomaso Sione as a suspect or a person of interest.
Let me be clear.
Although, also, let me be clear that
as of today, there is officially a suspect, but no names have surfaced and the Guthrie family
has stated they don't recognize the suspect. So after the surveillance images and videos came out,
law enforcement was seeing canvassing the neighborhood of Annie Guthrie going door to door,
talking to local residents and looking through Desert Brush, a pizza on Tuesday.
Today, we talked about this on our live earlier. Today a pizza, Tuesday, was accidentally
delivered to the home of Nancy Guthrie. It was ordered for an independent journalist,
JLR. He's doing a great job out there. And he's reporting on scene. And this delivery man made it
all the way up to the door without law enforcement noticing that they were there to a crime scene.
The Pima County Sheriff's Office later released a message stating, and I'll read it to you,
since this happened. Quote, we can't believe we have to say this, but media on scene, please do not order food delivery to a crime scene address. This interferes with an active investigation. Please also respect private property laws. Thank you. End quote. And finally, questions remain unanswered. Authorities believe, let's put this all together. Authorities believe the suspect may have been inside the home for about 40 minutes. What was he doing inside that home for 40?
minutes with that full backpack.
Police are asking why the first ransom note wasn't left inside the house, right?
Or why Nancy wasn't forced to write a handwritten note, right?
Others wonder if the family's videos, though, suggest knowledge beyond what's public.
I clearly am wondering about that.
Law enforcement hasn't confirmed any of that.
But on location reporters, again, like Brian Enton, they have continued to speculate on the
authenticity of the ransom emails. And again, this was one interesting bit of Brian Enten
investigates video on scene this minute. Let's take a listen to this. And now the tone seems to have
changed again, which makes me wonder, is there a possibility? And I think there is a possibility
that these ransom notes are unrelated to what's really going on here, that these ransom notes are
just some jerk somewhere trying to extort money out of the Guthries and that what really happened
to Nancy may have nothing to do with whoever's writing the ransom letters. I think that is a possibility
based on everything that I'm hearing. I don't think that that's for sure. They wouldn't have made
Savannah create those emotional videos if they didn't believe that there was a possibility that
those letters were legit. But just based on Savannah's most recent video, asking the public for help,
It makes me wonder based on all these other things that I know if the ransom letters have nothing to do with the actual disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
And they, again, they still may. They still may.
To show you how quickly this case goes from hour to hour, it's Brian Enten that's posting on X right now, you know what I mean, that the FBI's elite hostage rescue team in Tucson.
is in Tucson. That would tell me that they still believe that these rancin notes are real, but we don't know.
The FBI's elite hostage rescue team is in Tucson. Sources tell me, according to Brian Enten on X.
This is changing hour to hour. In a conversation I had with Benipollison of Court TV,
that was a few days ago now. He suspected they were real, as did I. I agree that, I agree
that Savannah Guthrie's video yesterday solo made me speculate just like Brian Enten.
Today, I'm feeling like they are. We have activity today, activity on the Bitcoin address
for less than $300. But still, are they testing? Are they making sure this is going to go through?
Millions of dollars to this Bitcoin address? We don't know. But that ex post from Brian Anton is
chilling, isn't it? I mean, that's our latest information right now. Add in, again, that TMZ is
reporting that activity. They're not, I do find it's interesting. You know, they were the ones
to share the first ransom note. They are saying that they're not going to share the account
to be careful, but then to, you know, but then Kagan let us know, less than $300.
Kagan, less than $300.
We've heard about the millions, the ransom note writer, was asking for.
And so if the activity in the account is consistent with the amount being asked,
why did it come after the deadline?
So that's my question, right?
Again, is there now proof of life?
Is there finally communication going on behind the scenes that we aren't privy to?
I mean, the public would certainly not be privy to conversations going on behind the scenes if that is happening.
But it does make me wonder if there is conversations and communications happening,
the Guthrie family does believe that Nancy is alive.
They have stated that.
they are asking for the public's help, though, with this suspect.
Would they be sharing that if they were hoping to make a deal with him, to bring Nancy Guthrie home?
I don't know.
So is there proof of life now?
Are the Guthrie is going to pay it but just needing to transfer the funds in the correct spot to get it paid?
again, testing, making sure it goes through.
I've sent $3 in Venmo before.
Are they checking to see if the account works first?
Or could it be the FBI trying to trace?
And again, if they are in communication, and this is real, this ransom,
and they're believing it's real, and they're believing that Nancy is alive,
and they're wanting to get her home, would this be the right day to share with the public video of the, of the, of the sustenance?
I mean, wouldn't that scare him?
Would he be concerned now about dropping Nancy off?
So many questions.
Could have, you know, but there is activity.
That's what matters.
There is activity on the Bitcoin account.
And right now there is one unnamed suspect, haunting images,
and videos.
The Guthrie family who, by all accounts,
remains absolutely desperate for answers.
A bit of activity on the Bitcoin address
connected to an alleged ransom.
And law enforcement agencies
who continue to work around the clock
on solving the case.
There's clearly intense activity.
There's renewed searches,
a new message under review,
and a family,
still pleading for help,
not just pleading for help,
pleading for the public's help.
This is where we are tonight.
In pleading for the public's help,
they're asking the FBI,
you know, if you have any information,
the FBI is asking you to call 1-800,
call FBI or to submit a tip at tips.
