Lately, I've been trying to be more intentional about what I wear, intentional about everything,
just choosing pieces that feel effortless, still put together, timeless, but also not overthinking it
every morning. It's why I keep going back to quince. Their pieces just make getting dressed
easier and I feel so classy. I feel elevated. The fits are flattering. The fabric is really
high quality. Everything is wearable day to day. I actually got this really, really,
beautiful yellow V-neck midi dress from them, and I paired it with some Italian leather sandals.
It's one of those outfits that just works. It feels polished but still comfortable. It's exactly
what I've been looking for. What surprises me, though, is the quality for the price. Quince uses
premium materials like European linen, organic cotton, but they cut out the middleman. So
everything is priced way lower than you'd expect. Refresh.

been weighing heavily on the community of Victorville, California, is this story of 32-year-old
Joseph Ferranda, a son, a brother, a father of four who vanished under deeply troubling
circumstances this past July. Now, disappearances are never simple. They leave behind confusion,
heartbreak, and a thousand unanswered questions. But Joseph's case is especially haunting
because the trail seemed to start strong
and then seemingly just stop dead in its tracks.
His family is desperate for answers
and the community is rallying.
But months later,
they're still fighting to keep his name from fading into silence.
So let's walk through what we know.
On July 10th, 2025, Joseph was last seen
near the intersection of Stoddard Wells Road
on Dante Street in Victorville.
It's a dry desert area,
mostly dirt roads, brush, and a riverbed nearby.
And according to his sister, he was spotted around 3.30 in the afternoon.
At that time, Joseph was wearing a bright orange t-shirt with a small logo,
blue jeans, and black Nike sneakers with a white swoosh.
He may or may not have had on a black baseball cap.
He was photographed wearing earlier that day.
We don't know.
We don't know.
But Joseph stands about 5 foot 10 in.
inches, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a couple of identifying tattoos, including a
large one across his upper back that says Aranda, his last name, and another that reads IE on his
arm. He also has a chipped front tooth, just a small detail that could help someone recognize him
if they cross paths. But here is where things get strange. The very next day, July 11th, his family
found his car abandoned in the parking lot of Emmanuel Temple CME Church on Stoddard Wells Road not far from where he was last seen.
The car was not locked up and was left with all of the windows rolled down.
Inside, his personal belongings were left behind, even his car keys.
That immediately raised red flags for his family.
Joseph was not the type to just walk away and leave everything behind like that.
his sister, Angelia Aranda, said, quote,
it not like him to abandon his car.
And she's right.
For someone who was in regular contact with his family every day,
this was completely out of character.
Authorities confirmed he wasn't in any local jails or hospitals,
and the family has made it clear that he was not involved in any nearby incidents
like a stabbing that occurred at a Victorville motel shortly after his disappearance,
was not involved.
They say that Joseph had nothing to do with that.
that. And they personally saw the victim. So that rumor has been put to rest. Still, Joseph hasn't been
seen or heard from since that Thursday afternoon. Four children are waiting for their dad to come home.
His mother, his mom, his siblings, and his friends, they are devastated. And yet, despite how
urgent the situation feels, the investigation has hit a wall. On social media, especially the Facebook
page, frustration has been boiling over. The family says they've received multiple credible
tips about Joseph's possible whereabouts, but according to them, the detective assigned to the
case has been on vacation, get this, for nearly a month. That means those tips just sit there
unanswered, uninvestigated while the days keep ticking by. The family wrote, quote,
The Victorville Sheriff's Department is failing us and failing Joseph every day that passes is another
other day wasted." They are urging the public to help apply pressure to demand that law enforcement
treat this case with the urgency it deserves. And really, when you hear Joseph's story, you understand
why. His sister, Alicia, painted a vivid picture of who her brother is beyond the headlines.
She said that she grew up being told to lift her hair to show everyone how much she looked like him,
how they had the same face. Joseph, she said, love music. He's the one who shaped
her taste in it. And some of her favorite memories are those late night talks over a beer when
Joseph would share his thoughts about the world. She put it best when she said, quote, he's not just a
missing person. That's my older brother. And his name is Joseph, Miranda. End quote. Their mother,
Lori, has not stopped searching either. On day 76 of his disappearance just a few hours ago,
She posted, quote, I'm going to find you, son, and bring you home.
Never stopping.
I love you so much.
Hopefully, today is the day.
Now, those are words that don't come from a place of giving up.
They come from determination, love, and heartbreak.
The family has organized search parties, like the one that took place in September 20th at Grady Tramal Park,
bringing together volunteers from the community, neighbors, friends, and strangers alike showing up
to comb the desert looking for anything, any trace that could possibly lead them closer to Joseph.
But so far, there are still no answers.
What we do know is that Joseph was lasting alive on July 10th.
His car discovered again, abandoned the next day with all of his things still inside.
And since then, silence.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help, but Joseph's family has gone a step further.
They are asking anyone who knows anything, no matter how,
small, no matter who you are to come forward. Now, you can call police dispatch at 760-241-29-1.
Or remain anonymous by using We-Tip or the family has stated you can reach out directly to them,
Joseph's family, at 442-229-9-0. The truth is, Joseph's life matters. He's not just another case file,
not just another name on a flyer.
He is a father, a brother, a son, someone who means the world to the people who love him.
And until he's found, his story needs to keep being told.
Because for Joseph's family, silence is unbearable.
In fact, his mother, who has been determined to never give up, and his sister are here with me tonight.
And I'm going to bring them in now because, as they stated, maybe today's the day, maybe tomorrow,
but they are determined to keep looking.
to keep his name in headlines.
So I want to say hello to Lori and to his sister, Ariana.
And Ariana, really quickly, you are just 11 months apart from Joseph.
Is that right?
Close sister to him.
Yes.
And Lori, as his mother, you saw him every day?
Every day.
Every day.
Every day.
And so this is not normal.
He doesn't just disappear.
There's no way.
My son would not come home.
There's no way.
There's no way he would ever leave us.
You're a very close family.
Yes.
So Joseph has four little sisters,
and he's the oldest, my only son.
And he's their protector.
And he made sure everybody knew or knows.
And they come across his sisters, you know, he's their protector and he's going to be there for them.
And so him not like checking in or texting me, hey mom, are you okay?
My sister's okay.
It's so out of context for Joseph.
Yeah.
So do you have any idea?
what possibly happened or where we should be looking.
Are there any tips that we need to know about?
And I want to point out, too, we are sharing his information so people can look.
But is there anything else, I guess, that we can know to sort of help, any direction, anything at all?
I will tell you that Joseph would not have left this area.
He would have left his car.
If he was going to leave, he would have taken his car.
Yeah, there's no reason to leave on foot at all.
The car wasn't out of gas.
The battery wasn't dead.
The tire wasn't flat.
There was no reason why he couldn't get in that car and drive it.
I did.
I drove it to my house.
So there's no reason for him to walk away from his vehicle.
Was he working?
You said that you saw him every day,
Lori, was he living with you? Was he calling and checking on you? Tell us about the situation.
So he was living here. He, so he had went to Arizona a year prior and he got into the union with his father.
He didn't want to be away from his kids, so he came back. So in California, there's a long list for the out-of-work list.
You have to be put on it for the union. And then when your number comes up, they'll call you for
jobs. So he hadn't worked since March. And so I was helping him out. That's what I do. I'm his mom.
You know, so giving him gas money when he needed it, that's fine. You know, he was out of work. He's
waiting to be called. And there's a lot of speculation online of why did he need money? Well,
does he need a gas? You know, he was out of work. I'm going to give my child money if he needs.
needs it, you know? Or, you know, if he's an adult, he came and went as he pleased. So when he would
come in, hey, mom, you got something to drink, absolutely, you know. Or if he was out, I would give him
a case of soda to have in his car, you know, or even sandwich, like peanut butter, jelly, and
bread, whatever, you know, because he is an adult. But he checked in with me every single day,
every single day
and it's not like him to not
like him to not.
Like I told
Ahmed on the theater
that I had
some devastating health news
prior to Joseph going missing
he would not have
not been here
because I do have to have a major
surgery and he told me
I'm going to be there for you mom
he wouldn't have left
And you know what?
We actually have Ahmed here now.
So Ahmed,
Ahmed,
Ahmed,
uh,
Ahmed Beoza with on Dutera,
what have you been discovering in this investigation?
When did you jump on this investigation?
I know that Ahmed,
you have been a really big help in this investigation.
Tell us what you know right now and what we should know is the public.
Yeah.
Thank you for having me on and thank you for giving the,
around the family.
a voice in this
on this platform
and Lori
and her family invited me
to come visit her
on day I believe it was 68
maybe
and I had
seen posts throughout the internet
but I receive a lot of
like as you know
we receive a lot of different
cases that people wanted to investigate
and so you know
she lives quite a distance
from me so it's not that easy for me to just travel to her part. But more people were sending
it to me and, you know, from what I started seeing that it was gaining traction and I seen
the efforts that this family was putting into trying to locate, you know, Joseph. And, you know,
some families do more. And I'm just going to be honest. Some families do more. Some families stick out.
Some families show.
that they're in this for real and not just expect me to come over here and try to, you know,
and I've seen it myself.
They showed me and that's when I jumped on.
And when I did finally get on board with Lori and her family, it just blew my mind,
all the clues that we had or she had and that we have stalled out once again.
And to me, and I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but it just showed.
once again that there's a disconnect between law enforcement, the community, and I don't know if
it's protocol, they can't tell us absolutely nothing. And now, as I don't know, Lori told you,
because, you know, I couldn't hear anything. But, you know, now we're to the point where this man,
the lead detective, is on vacation for a month now, it seems. And I don't know who gets that
kind of vacation. And but if that's what's happening, then at least, uh, maybe, uh, maybe,
maybe a rollover to another detective or at least a liaison with the community and a law enforcement.
And since I do have a good rapport with law enforcement now due to, you know, how we handle investigations and, you know, we treat them at least to the best of my ability with respect.
And so I feel like in this case, at least, and in cases like Emmanuel Harrow and, you know, more as cases gain traction, I have become sort of the least.
liaison between the families and the law enforcement because sometimes it's hard for the families
to get a hold of them. And so that's where we're at. I jumped on on day 68. And I just now we're on
day 74. Oh, I believe 76. 76. 76. And still no call back from the investigators.
You know, we have new leads. I don't know how much Lori has told you. And I don't know how much
She's willing to disclose because obviously these are vital information that we have.
So we have a lot of things what I'm trying to say.
There's information out there.
And so we're holding the evidence that we have very close to our chest so that when the investigators are ready to do their job, we have leads.
And we, I'm like, we're screaming them from the riverbed because that's where we're at.
And it's literally in the same vicinity of where he disappeared.
We have clues.
There's evidence right now where they can go and put forensics and swab and do what they do.
But we don't know who to call.
And so San Bernardino County Sheriff Department, if you're listening,
please call whoever these investigators are and get a hold of the mother because we have so much information.
And so how do these cases get solved?
I don't know.
And so that's, I hope I answer your question, but you can see where the frustration comes in, Lauren.
And if I'm this frustrated, imagine this poor woman.
Imagine her.
And I have no connection to Joseph.
And, and like, I can only, I can only, I can only, I can only sympathize for her, for Joseph's mother.
And that's why I'm going, doing any little thing that I could.
And so I brought you on, Lauren, because I know that I know where you're at and I know what you can potentially help us, at least in getting the word out of the incompetence and the lack of resources.
And we're literally getting out there with ATVs.
We're literally out there with Cannats.
We're literally out there on horseback.
We're the human chain in this riverbed.
And it's like, dang, like nobody's helping us.
Now we see why all these cases go unsolved because nobody cares.
Nobody cares.
And it's just sad.
We've been walked the deserts.
We've gone in caves that he used to enjoy hiking.
And just we've gone everywhere.
We're going everywhere.
Any lead we get we're taking serious.
We will go there.
Okay.
And do we have any?
And look, I know that we have to hold the investigation close to, you know,
your chest and you can't share too much.
And I respect that.
I don't want to mess anything up.
So I'm the journalist asking questions.
And if you can't answer something,
do not answer it because I respect this investigation.
But do we have any leads or any ideas at all?
I mean, are we focused absolutely on foul play?
Like, you know, it is strange when a grown man disappears.
I'll be honest, because we think of trafficking,
of young girls, of children, of any ideas at all?
At this point, it could be anything.
We can't rule anything out.
I know my said wouldn't do this.
I know he wouldn't.
So at this point, I don't want to rule.
So I'll play out anything out.
It could be anything.
Thank you, Ahmed.
Thank you for being here, Ahmed.
And let's be in touch.
I'll continue talking to Lori.
and Ariana now.
Bye, Lori.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Thank you guys for having me,
and I'm glad that we made this connection.
Yes.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Bye.
Bye.

You know, I am dealing with all kinds of emotions right now,
and I'm trying to hold it together because I do want people to know that my son is a good person.
He is a great person.
He's a good dad.
He's an amazing dad.
He's an amazing brother.
He loves his sisters.
He loves me.
you know and I have so many texts hey mom you okay hey mom lock your door hey mom do this hey mom do that
and I'm like I haven't had that in 76 days you know he's a good brother Ariana he's a very good brother
are you guys close we're very close that's my big brother they're my Irish twins you know um
they started school together they went all through
high school together.
We were so close that in the mornings, I would ask him if my hair was teased, the same,
like height on both sides, and he'd be like, the side needs to go higher.
And I'm like, okay.
And then he'd come out and be like, does this match?
And I'd like, yeah, Joe, everything matches with, you know, like jeans.
And he had like, okay, cool, it looks okay.
And I'd like, yeah.
Or he'd go get on the bus.
And I didn't tell him that day that I wasn't going.
he'd get back off the bus, have the bus driver wait, come inside and be like,
Nanda, like, are you coming to school today?
And I'd be like, oh, I'm not going today.
And he'd just kind of stand there.
And I'd be like, I know.
And then, so then he would try to stay home with me.
Because we just didn't feel right.
I don't know.
He's supposed to be there.
Even if he wasn't in my classes, we just felt more comfortable with each other.
As long as I knew he was there, I was okay.
So, Ariana's allergic to bees.
and there's a situation where he, go ahead.
So M.E, we got locked in the gates,
and you had to kind of wait for the security to come and open the gates for you.
I'm standing there and you can hear the swarm of bees.
I'm allergic, so you can hear them coming.
And I just, everything goes dark and I'm just moving.
And I'm like, what is happening right now?
He threw a jacket over my head, over my head.
And I'm just getting dragged through everybody.
And then when I get through the front of the school, he's like, you're safe now.
But it is that serious.
My allergy is that serious.
So he wasn't playing.
He didn't care who was around.
He dragged me to the front of the school because, no, he didn't want me to be hurt, you know?
So he's a good big brother.
He's a very good big brother.
He's a little dramatic.
He's a very good big brother.
Oh, he sounds like the best big brother.
He is. Don't get me wrong, though. He could be a pain, but he's my pain.
Hey. Yeah.
You know, he's where you're cooking. He'll come up and fake box with you or, you know,
go in and shut the light off on you so you have to get up and turn it back on.
And, you know, always a smile. He's very soft-spoken.
Speaks with a very quiet tone, almost a whisper. I don't think I've ever heard him yell.
I don't think I've ever heard him, you know.
But he's very mellow, very down to earth.
And family is everything to him, everything to him.
Sounds like family is everything to all of you, that you have done a good job,
raising a very tight-knit, close family.
When I was pregnant with my third child, he wanted a little brother so bad.
And, of course, I had four girls.
And so she got to learn how to play basketball.
She got to learn how to play football.
And she had to learn how to play all the sports.
And she was good at it because Joe, you know, he would get out there and tell her,
don't be scared of the ball, catch the ball.
You know, she wanted a guitar so bad.
And she has an illness too.
And to make her feel better, he showed up one day with this guitar.
And he was like, here, I want you to learn.
You know, he did little things like that to make us happy because that's who Joseph is.
He's sweet.
He's caring.
He's stubborn.
But even when he's stubborn or any of that, he's still gentle.
He's still, I don't know how to explain it because he's just different, you know?
Like, he's goofy and he's happy and he finds like a silver lining.
And he'll, he won't allow you to be down bad, you know?
He'll pick you up and he'll, he'll make sure you're okay.
He's a good guy.
And even he doesn't hold grudges.
He'll be like, say, you know, we got into an argument or something the next day and I'm still like side-eyeing him.
And he'll be like, Mom, that was yesterday.
And he doesn't choose sides.
He's very much.
My son.
And I miss him.
Terribly.
I miss hearing, hey, Mom, what are you cooking?
Yeah.
Joseph, I locked the doors.
Like you say, your sisters are okay, but not mentally.
I'm not okay, Joseph.
I miss you so bad.
Made your daughter, I promise.
And I told her I'll bring you home.
And I'm going to bring you home
because I can't bring that promise.
to her. I'm sorry. You know, his youngest daughter started kindergarten this year. He was in 3rd December off. You know, he wouldn't do this. He wouldn't do this to us.
Do we suspect foul play then?
Anything is possible. You know, I can't say there was it and I can't say there was because I don't know. I don't know. You know, if I knew
then I would know where my son is.
You know, I've been out looking for 76 days.
And physically, sometimes I can't get out there.
But there hasn't been a day that not one family member hasn't been out looking.
You know, my nephew, my nephew and him grew up like brothers.
And he went hard looking for my son.
make this
effect
of my sister
and my nephew
you know
and my dad
did
my dad
did pass away
on Father's Day
and
Joseph went missing
two days
before his funeral
he went to miss
my dad's funeral
for nothing
that was his
grandpa
you know
no he said
he was coming
yeah
I even had
a shirt made
for him
and he's like
thanks mom
you know
so there's no
reason why
my son should not be here.
There's no reason why I should be wondering where my child is.
I know.
It's a mother's worst nightmare.
I want to know that and I'm so sorry.
It's hard.
It's guilt of having luxurias of a bed to sleep in or water to drink and thinking,
is he cold?
Is he hot?
Is he thirsty?
Is he hungry?
Does he need something?
You know, it's a constant torture.
And I'm begging the public, like, I'm begging you.
If you know something, you can call anonymous.
You can call the family.
You could call the Victorville Police Station.
There is an anonymous number that you can call.
You can call me private.
Yeah.
No question.
Asked, you know, just anything that can lead me to my son, I'm begging at this point.
You know, I beg God every night.
My son is very faithful.
And I beg God every night, please.
Give me something tomorrow so that I can find my son.
We want to help you find him and get, we want to help get the word out there.
Hopefully, if someone can know something, we'll let you know.
You are living a nightmare.
And I hope, like you, if anybody knows anything at all about what happened to Joseph
or where Joseph is to let this family know.
And that's a good point.
And if you don't want to call police, you can call anonymously from the tip line that we
mentioned at the beginning of this of tonight's show or as you point out you can call the family
they can call you and we will have all of those numbers also in the description of this episode
as well I can't imagine and it feels like it's not getting enough attention no it's not
and we need help like when we're doing search parties and okay because I
I need whatever help I can get.
You know, I'll take...
We can take people being physically here,
people sharing the post,
people talking about it with people in passing.
Anything helps.
If people know about him,
somebody could have seen him at some point,
or, you know, they might have...
They know somebody who knows something,
or it's anything.
We just, we need people to care.
Yeah, he's our family,
but he's a human being.
He's a person.
He has a family.
family. He has a future. He has children. He has, you know, he has a whole life ahead of him. Where is he?
He doesn't, like, people just don't disappear. You have a digital footprint and you have a physical footprint.
Where's my brother? Where's my brother? Where is my brother?
Yeah. You're right. You have a digital and a physical. And has there been any sign of either at all?
No. No. Not since.
July 10th of this year.
That is so strange.
Anything stolen out of his abandoned car at all?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know what was in there.
I know that I don't know nothing.
You know, I don't know.
We don't know what was on his car because he is a private person.
So we didn't just go through his things.
That's his personal area.
You know, just like how nobody really knows what's in my car.
But I don't know, we just, we need help.
We don't know where to start.
We don't know where to go, really.
We have general ideas of where we think that, okay, well, maybe he could have gone here.
Or, you know, so we're trying everything.
If you send in the tip, we go there too.
Everything, everything somebody tells us, we will look into it because it's that serious to us.
Because that is our family.
That is our family.
And we go hard for our family.
We don't just, he is not going to be just a missing person.
That's not fair.
That's not fair to him.
He doesn't deserve that.
People don't just vanish.
Somebody else knows something.
Somebody knows either where my son is, what happened to my son.
Somebody knows.
People don't just fall off the face of the earth and then are never seen again.
somebody knows.
If people have the ability to volunteer for search parties or to learn more about Joseph's case,
where can we go?
Is there a Facebook group?
Is that the best place to go?
Tell us where those that are willing can find more information.
So there's find Joseph Aranda on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
Okay.
We update every day.
every when we're having search parties it's announced a week prior so that and usually it's twice a week
but like I said we go out every single day but the search parties are we've had quite a few
some big turnout some not um but either way a second person is a second pair of eyes that we could use
in the area that is around here that we need people, you know.
So Joseph, find Joseph Haranda, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Okay, thank you.
So, and we will also have links to those in the description of this episode
so that people can hopefully join the search and help with any leads.
Have there been any leads?
leads that have help that have come in.
I know that you can't talk too much
about the investigation tonight
and we will keep a tight lip
but have there been any leads
that have panned out at all
or things that you're looking into.
So that's the thing
that the detective isn't here right now.
So we can't say if anything has panned out or not
because he left so early into it
that he's missed out on the whole
a month, you know?
And we haven't gotten a lot of things.
checked yet because he's not here and who you have to run it through is the detective assigned
to the case so if he's on vacation nobody else wants to talk to us because it's not their case
and they don't care um the detective assigned to the case cares um he's been amazing so far um he's
followed any and every lead that he's gotten or that we've given him or anything
like that but he um you know joseph's been missing for 76 days and he's been gone for almost 30 at that
you know that's half um that is half that is half yeah so any leads that have came in since he's left
have not been followed up on or pursued or anything you know that's you know that's a whole
a whole month.
This, you need the public's help.
I need the public's help.
Okay. Well, we will help you to get the word out.
Thank you. For your son, and for your brother, and for his children and your other, his other siblings.
And I am so sorry that this is happening to you.
Thank you.
But I hope that we can help bring Joseph home.
Thank you.
That's my hope as well.
Is there anything else that you want us to know right now?
That Joseph is a good person.
Joseph is deserving to be found.
Joseph has a spot in this world, you know?
People who come across him,
they always mention how gentle he is and how sweet he is,
or how quiet he is, you know, he's special.
And he's not just somebody on a flyer.
He's not just somebody's name you here
when you pass by, he's a person.
He's a person with a story.
He's a person with the future.
He's a person.
People matter.
And yeah, he may not be personally connected to them,
but that doesn't mean they don't have to care.
Doesn't mean they don't have to try when they get in their car and they drive every day.
Keep an eye out for him.
If you see him, let him know that we're looking for him.
Just try.
Just do something.
Because we are.
We're trying, but we're only us.
We need more people.
Yeah.
Well, we are here.
The hidden gem community is an impressive group.
And I know that many will join the Facebook.
group and we will do our best and perhaps there'll even be some in victorville that will help
with the searches so if anybody has any information please let this family know please please let
jose's family know we hope that we can help bring him home and if there's anything we can help
do during this process please let me know you're welcome thank you so much for being here tonight
And we will be continuing to follow Joseph's case.
Okay, thank you.
