Yo!
Oh, it is another edition imagine the weary look on his face
after the roller coaster of emotions last night,
unable to get to sleep and then getting up,
sucking it up, running 10 miles,
fritzy, all-timer last night.
We'll obviously get into it before you leave for New York. But, um,
how you feeling like you doing? Okay. Yeah.
Hopefully we have a long run years. So I need you to, you know,
need to check in on you. Yeah. No, I'm sure it was me last year.
Everyone was worried about me with the sleep this year,
worrying about you with the running. No, Ronnie's good. And he's killing me.
Feel like Kirk Gibson in 1988, like the
last four miles were tough. And people, a lot of people seem to be concerned that I'm
going to hurt myself, which I appreciate the, the looking outness, but we're going down,
you know, it goes from, from 11, 10, nine to eight, seven. We all know the countdown.
So I'm good, whatever it takes. And the energy levels are high, probably because the games are at four rather than eight. So thank God, as long as the games are the time they are,
everything's going well. So I feel like I haven't, I'm gonna stop smiling since, since
last night, I haven't stopped, you know, kind of just gushing about how awesome that game
was yesterday. And I just, I just pray that it carries over to tomorrow. They
relock back in. They, the JT quote after the game about we feel like we can
breathe again or it was like a deep breath kind of moment. Yep. While I
appreciate it and I get it, they've had this a couple times when they were
struggling where it's like, all right, there it is, there it is, there it is.
Like they got to show up tomorrow and back to square
one. Like flush would happen the other day. You've, if you, again, remind yourself that
you're still a damn good baseball team and man going into city field and ripping the
hearts out of that fan base and out of that team would, it would just mean the world to, to this city. And it's not a world series.
It's not the ultimate prize year, but man, beating the mats up there. And, and again,
ripping the hearts that a New York city, I need it. Maybe it's cause Brandon Nemo was
chirping yesterday, but I need it more than, than life itself.
Yeah. I think we all do. Look, especially to your point,
I mean, any Mets fan, any Mets player,
if you said, I'll offer you a split
before you go down there,
they would have said, awesome, I'll take it.
That sounds great.
And you know, it's just, thank goodness,
the way it happened to your point,
hopefully, you know, we should be like,
damn, they should have won two here.
Instead, we're sitting here riding high because we saw an all time great
playoff game, much less citizens bank park game, much less Phillies playoff
game and the Phillies won it and walked it off.
And we hope to your point that momentum carries over, but you're exactly right.
Like this team, you know, it is not like that.
We know that they can go from one to the other.
I mean, we've seen them have the 10, game, the seven nothing game. Like we know how quick
and can turn to your point. I hope they know how quick it can turn and are going in really
thinking not like, you know, oh, we can breathe. Like that's great. But also you did lose a game
at home. You know, like the Mets flipped the series here. It's your job now to, you know,
ideally go in and take two there, but But you have to win one there now.
That's on you guys. So I'm with you. I hope that they're not riding too high from that win,
but also I do hope that it energizes them and to your point reminds them that they are the better
baseball team. They are the team that this Mets team this Mets team has had this, you know, all their magic and the, you know, they got the look and look, we, we, we've seen it.
I mean, they are resilient and they fight and it's important to put your foot on their
throat because they're not going to just go away and give it to you. But the same time,
like this group of Philly should be able to look across the field and be like, we've been
here. Like we have been in these moments before.
It's our time to move forward.
So I'm hoping they have that mentality now, Jack.
I want them to go into these next two games as the aggressor.
Like for far too often with this team.
They never and they never feel like the bully.
They never feel like, OK, we're we Okay, we're gonna we're gonna do different things. We're gonna be aggressive. We're gonna
Again like be the aggressive team. Don't let the like keep the Mets on their heels
I mean this came this game or the series now shifts to their home field
Where we were in a tight ballpark for about 14 innings.
You know, we've no doubt make that ballpark tight.
Mets fans in their in their gut.
They know when to not believe they know when to do it.
I mean, they know they're the Mets and look, things change.
You know, the Phillies ultimately finally won a World Series in 1980 after 98 years
and not winning and like it can happen.
But Mets fans definitely and you know, deep down in their core, they don't expect it.
They expect their team to find a way to, to LOL Mets them and, and who knows what will
happen.
But to your point, like they are still the Mets.
Like that is, that has to be remembered, especially by the Phillies.
Yeah.
I just, I need them on their heels yet tomorrow.
I need the Phillies to be, jump out, jump out to a two, nothing lead jump, like
step onto the field and make sure it's go time.
It has to be.
I mean, we all remember the Oh wait, run.
I mean, Rollins let off every clinching game with a home run.
And it just immediately set a kind of a tone for the game.
The aggression has to be there.
You came back, you even up the series,
your season doesn't feel like it's falling apart,
doesn't feel like it's on the brink anymore.
Man, tomorrow is obviously a huge game.
It is funny. And I hope that, that it bears to be
true. It is funny. The amount of we got an old smart, we're fine.
That I've heard. I know who am I, who am I listening to? Well,
what, what tweets am I reading?
We've had more confidence in Aaron Nola. Most conversations is like 2018.
And I appreciate it.
Hope he shoves tomorrow.
But I also, a part of me is like,
can someone just say, I'm nervous about Nola tomorrow?
Can someone just throw that out there
so that we could be where we need to be?
Again, when we get cocky, when we get confident,
so I start getting a little bit nervous.
So again, I just, they have a golden opportunity. If they go up to one,
they go up to one being aggressive, met start, maybe doubting themselves a little bit. You have
a real opportunity to put a stranglehold on this series and carry over what happened yesterday,
because man yesterday was, was just remarkable. Yeah again honestly it was we did the you can hear
in my voice my voice is like on the edge it's good they don't have a couple home games right
you're going so you're gonna have to be loud again I couldn't be loud in my my you know my my house
which is a lot different um but yeah I like in the moment last night you you I thought you had a
great phrase calling it an all-time citizens bank part night.
But you know, when you really zoom out and I was, you know, thinking about, and I mentioned on the broadcast,
the, you know, it's only the fourth walk off of our lifetime in the playoffs for the Phillies.
It's a rare thing.
But, you know, you really step back and look at it and really see what a lot of, you know, people around baseball.
But like, you know, it really wasn't not just.
And again, the Phillies need to win this series for it to be that for us, but it was an all time
great playoff game, like period that, you know, you don't get that many back and forth late ending,
heroic walk off games where, you know, it's just with that kind of crowd and that kind of atmosphere
and you'll do stars, two rivals,
big stars having big moments on both sides. Like that was like, you know, that was special, special
baseball man. And, and to your point, like it was just, it's, it's hard for us to, you know, again,
like I, I feel like we should be more upset about a split, but we, we can't be because of what we saw last night.
So I need them to, to it's all about them locking in cause they are the better team.
And you know, once they started going, they can punch with this Mets team.
I know that this Mets team is annoying and resilient.
And I, I like, look, I'll say it and I hate saying it.
And it's the first time I've felt this about Mets team in a while, but I respect this Mets team.
I respect how they battle and like how they put the ball in play and that the amount of
O2 hits they get and all that stuff like they're a good baseball team.
So to your point, like be aggressive, but also the Phillies have to, they can't take
this team lightly.
They can't take this round lightly, Jack.
I know they have bigger goals, but this is a, this is a tough match right now and they have to,
they have to be fully locked in.
Well, I think Saturday was their wake up call. I mean, Saturday was their wake up call. And,
and then, you know, Sunday wasn't going well. Sunday, the first five plus innings were a
wake up call too. Yeah. Yeah. But I think the Phillies have a healthy amount of respect. It's almost, I, I, maybe Saturday was, okay, they've played other teams, but
they haven't played us yet. And then Saturday happened and they're like, all right, we see
it. Now we get it. And then as the Mets kept coming back yesterday or kept having those
kinds of moments, the Phillies had to, to extra lock in. Yeah. And I think when they get in that mode and it's hard to say I trust them to stay there.
I don't. Other than Harper, I trust Harper and Wheeler when they're out there to stay in that mode,
just like that can can make it happen in any moment.
But I've seen them reverts.
They had it. They have it for moments.
And then they revert back to the frustrating
Philly's offense that they are,
that are chasing everything.
By the way, you know, like Trey and Castee,
and Castee was great yesterday.
But like, what do you think they're gonna throw you
first pitch?
I know, I know.
It's like what, honestly, it should almost be like a rule
where it's just don't swing first pitch
until they realize you're not gonna swing first pitch and start pumping it down the middle and then maybe you take advantage of it then like just don't swing first pitch every single time you go up.

There don't swing first pitch take the-1 hole if you have to,
because you're probably gonna be in one anyway.
They're throwing one pitch.
They're throwing one pitch at the sweeper.
But it's hard to say I trust them to carry it over,
because again, this offense is the biggest concern
heading into the postseason.
But if they can just do it,
if they can just remember how they got back into that game,
and the nice part is, I know we, we mocked it on Saturday and it looked like it was, you know, coming to fruition again yesterday, but on the positive side, shadow shouldn't really be a factor.
And the fillies, there you go.
Yes.
Wow. Carrie, zero game.
In the belly of the league.
Jacked it too. Jacked that flip, the whole thing.
Wow. I guess the, uh, the Tigers aren't dead. Wow.
Did you see that stat? Not to, to high hopes it in tangent too much, but the, the, the
Tigers do not have a player, you know, saved they have a bias, their highest paid guys hurt. Like the, the,
the highest paid guy on the playoff roster makes like $2.7 million or something.
Well, I mean, they're total salary is that, I mean, they're, they're total salary right now on the roster, I
believe is lower than what, like three Phillies. Yeah, it's crazy. Four, five, five. I mean, I think it's absolutely
unreal. Turner, the Phillies have no excuses. When you look at this
Tigers team, like you're going to win, man. You guys are so
good. Like you're so talented. There should be like the only
time that this team has lost the last two years in the playoffs,
Jack is when they've, you know, I, it's such a cliche to say,
but like they've beaten themselves by, by going cold.
And look, the Astros, you could say the Astros beat them, but like they've beaten themselves by by going cold. And look, the Astros, you could
see the Astros beat them. But like, they, they also went cold. And they also had opportunities
still to win that series, as we know, but defensive and offensive mistakes plague them.
But you know, this team, when they're locked in, in the playoffs, is as good as any playoff
team they're going to face like without a doubt and they can come through in the biggest moments. We've seen it so many times now and they just
have to go out and be themselves and not the themselves we love the Phillies playoff team
that we've loved the last few years and not the one that shows up at the worst times and
end series.
Yeah. Yeah. And what I liked about yesterday and they talked a lot about a postgame is the amount that they mentioned
past the baton
Yeah, that was Harper said it like three times that one
It's so key and Harper has to be the one that drives that that point home
I mean hardly because he's the one who's gonna gotta be okay taking walks have to be okay taking walks
You have to trust your teammates and that might have galvanized
I know that the the fans galvanized Castellanos yesterday,
but Harper having the faith that Castellanos
is coming through, not expanding the zone.
They will lose, this is not rocket science,
they will lose if they expand.
And the fact that Trey worked that walk in the ninth.
I think it was the biggest moment that,
you know, we talked about so much today,
and there was so much, I feel like,
and it got brought up, but I feel like that Trey walk in the ninth was the biggest moment that we talked about so much today and it got brought up, but I feel like
that trade walk in the ninth was the biggest moment that probably won't get as much credit
as it probably deserves.
Why couldn't I believe the amount of two-out rallies they created yesterday?
Totally.
It felt like through the first, again, before the Harper homerun, it felt like up until
that point, they'd only started rallies with two outs, which is annoying, you know, to do that with no outs and your.
Well, and the Harper one was it to the Harper Homer and Cassie, obviously were both two
out homers. And then obviously the ninth walk off was, was two out. So yeah, it was. Yeah.
I mean, that's, it's, it's important, but it's also not super sustainable. You get two
outs and then squirters and runs. But I loved, I loved the amount of pass the baton because that's trusting your
teammates. That's saying you got my back. I got your back kind of thing.
And they, when this team gets into hero ball mode and,
and they are trying to all, again, a six run home run.
It's when they're at their worst.
So the fact that that after the game was something they really tried to hit home,
important and you know, it's not football,
it's not basketball where you can like run plays
or whatever to try to free up the offense.
But passing the baton, getting more base runners on,
base runners in the post season, create a habit.
Yeah, dude, Jack, that's what I was about to say, dude.
Yeah, it's exactly right.
In the regular season, sure, home runs are fine. But in the post season, getting a dude Jack. That's what I was about to say, dude. And it's exactly in the regular season.
Sure.
Home runs are fine, but, but in the postseason, it changes the game.
It all sudden does the picture, the picture starts exactly, dude, exactly.
Come on, come on.
Now I shook out 11 times yesterday, which is annoying, but okay, whatever.
Pass the baton and, and make that ballpark tight.
I'm, I'm curious to see how the Phillies handle, handle a really big-time
atmosphere like city field.
They haven't really faced that in the last couple of post-seasons.
I mean, we know Truist Park is an absolute joke.
We know Chase Field is a joke.
We know Houston is a joke.
I mean, they haven't really, they haven't really gone up
against the Padres Stadium.
Sure, it can get loud, but San Diego, I mean, come on.
The beach is right there.
This is their first big boy Northeast,
like people feel like they're on top of you.
And how does this team respond and I
hope it's positively I've seen them not play great at city field again last four
years in the regular season they're 10 and 21 so hard to hard to take that you
know it's it's a different beast you know I agree I agree but that is, it's a different beast. You know, I agree. I agree. But that is a it's a it's a big ballpark and feel like a behemoth.
And I just I'm obviously I want them respond well,
but I'm fascinated to see if if the bright lights are, you know, really too big.
I don't think they will be.
But it's a huge storyline heading into tomorrow.
This is a big, big like step up in stage.
Yeah, well, yes, I agree as a road game because obviously Citizens Bank Park is stagewise.
They're comfortable there.
And I think it's funny. I think probably the, you know, fun are, you know, ironically, I think
that probably the biggest one they've been at is Bush for, I don't know if it's still Bush stadium,
the St. Louis stadium for that, that very first playoff round. I mean, that's probably the best, you know,
road crowd atmosphere that they've had to face. You're, you're absolutely right. I mean,
it really is a fair amount of, you know, just kind of, you know, blase fan bases and the
Mets won't be Mets fans, you know, and look, shout out to the lack of Mets fans at Citizens
Bank Park. That was unbelievable.
Certainly less than I think most people thought.
But while Phillies fans will definitely get up there,
I don't expect it to be like we took over.
The fans of Philly will do a great job.
It will be a good amount of Phillies fans there.
I'll bet you there's more Phillies fans there percentage wise
than here with Mets fans for this series. But it's going to be a hostile atmosphere for them, Jack.
And I do think to your point, especially New York, I mean, it's a Northeast city. It's
a Northeast fan base. Like again, a rivalry where the fans hate the team they're looking
at. I absolutely, I think it's a great point that this will be the, you know, most intense, harshest, most hateful fan atmosphere that this Phillies team has
faced on the road in the playoffs yet.
Like I think without a doubt.
Makes me excited.
It makes me excited.
It's awesome.
That's what it's all about.
Like it's great.
It's just like them coming here.
And I, I, if I get, if we get a true Bryce Harper silencer,
oh, I can,
Schwab's too.
I feel like Schwab's is the one who,
when I think of like moments up there,
I feel like I just anecdotally,
it feels like Schwab comes through up there
more than others.
Yeah.
It's, and this isn't shocking.
It feels like a Harper Schwab or two games.
These are the two that first off you've seen do it on the biggest stage. Schwab, I feel like on the
road actually has more big Schwab bombs. I mean, I do too. I mean, yeah, like San Diego, obviously we
remember San Diego, Houston, game six, where the way to the world kind of feels like it's on the Phillies and there's their guy, Kyle Schwaber.
So it feels like a Schwaber two games.
It feels like a Harper two games.
I can just feel it in my bones.
I can feel it in my bones.
A monster Harper home run.
Like, yeah, I don't know what situation it's going to be.
I feel like it's a, it's a three run bomb late in the game to kind of turn a game around but
Ever since he hit the home run yesterday, by the way, I completely forgot that he looked like he had no power a month ago
I know it was halfway up the friggin batters. I like I I couldn't believe how far that ball went
Yeah, it was just like he had a home runoff of a sentence,
sent to the tail. Yeah. Whatever. With the, with the Rockies.
And that was the first Armando similar to that one
right yesterday. But yeah, I just, at some point,
it feels like we're having another huge Bryce in New York. I mean, Bryce,
we know him. He's, he's a big stage kind of guy and
I
Just I feel it. I feel it. I mean we're living with a split but I think it's
This don't clip this audio and then please don't clip this audio
Mm-hmm. I think it's more likely they go up there and take two than lose two. I
I think it's more likely they go up there and take two than lose though.
I totally agree with that.
I just, I'll be completely honest.
Uh, you know, don't clip this audio.
I think it's going five.
Like I do. I want them.
Yeah.
I really want them to go up and, and to your point, you know, if they go up and
take two up there, then it's like, you're cooking with gas.
I feel really good about it.
And look, the Padres are really good.
I mean, that team just rakes, rakes and rakes. And also they clearly, you know, with all the
Phillies fans throwing stuff at them last night in LA, they responded and hit like 8,000 home runs
after it. So, you know, I don't think they're going to be intimidated by this atmosphere.
They've already seen it. So, yeah, but again, I, you know, if this
team goes up and handles business, it's like, yeah, we're going to, and again, not over
confident, but I think we should have confidence that this team can handle anyone. This is
a, a really good test for this team. And obviously if it comes back five, which I expect to,
I, you know, we'll feel good about Wheeler in that game. But, um, this one's huge, you know,
game three is so big because like, look, we love Ranger and I trust him in the playoffs, uh, you
know, just inherently because the heart beats lower thing and all that. And I know we, you know,
they said he looked better in the scrimmage type thing, but like down to one with Ranger, you know,
the way he's been trying to save the season. I think that's concerning.
And to your point before where you're like, can we get nervous Nolan?
And yes, I think to our point about Mets fans before where I'm sure deep down,
they still expect their franchise to Mets them, so to speak.
I do think that deep down a lot of Phillies fans still feel that
Nolan's gonna give up a homer here or he's gonna kind of blow up. I do think that deep down a lot of Phillies fans still feel that, you know,
Noel is going to give up a homer here or he's going to kind of blow up.
But we should not expect that from him in this game.
And to the point where you're like, it feels like a Harper Schwerber,
you have two games up there. It does. But it has to be a Nola game.
Like this guy got paid $175 million.
He has been on this stage before and thrown freaking gems in these spots.
And yes, he's had a couple of bad starts, but for the most part in the playoffs, when
you hand the ball to Aaron Nola, he's going to go out there and give you a six or seven
strong and give you a great chance to win a baseball game.
And like they need that from this dude in this spot, especially after making the decision
to go Sanchez and to, and to go with Nola because you know stoic Aaron on the road can handle
any situation. We just talked about the environment he's gonna be stepping into
and it being the most intense road environment for this team like you know
it's a big spot for for Aaron Nola but I I think we have to like we should hold
him the expectation that he needs to shove tomorrow
and he should shove tomorrow.
Yeah, tomorrow comes down to,
there's two major things that have to happen tomorrow
for the Phils to win.
Well, the first doesn't have to happen
for the Phils to win.
It's just imperative to me,
is he's got to give them at least six,
give them where the bullpen is and given and the range range
Yeah, the range going in in game four
Where we can make a big deal about Ranger and that's fine
It just I feel like it's it's three innings four innings of Ranger
I would be shocked if he's you know in the fifth sixth or even you know that that's a thing
but he he has to give them length tomorrow to, to not burn this
bullpen heading into what I think is going to be more of a bullpen game in game
for the nods. And the other thing that is, that is massive,
speaking of our bullpen, their bullpen is in a way worse spot.
So when it comes to working Shamanaya,
and when it comes to having tough, pretty at bats,
get him out of the game by the fifth.
Get him out of there.
He's nasty.
I mean, Shamanaya's at a really good year.
Yeah, and he's had like the best year of his career,
and it seems like he's made some changes.
He looks, he kind of looks like an infant.
He was on from 91 to 94.
Yeah, yeah. And it seems like he's done some arm slot stuff that,
that is different than he used to do in the past too. He's,
he was awesome this year. Like he was one of what the five to seven best
pitchers in the national league, probably.
Now he still can walk you. He'll still walk in. That is a part of his game,
but get him out of there as fast as you can grind out some at bats foul off pitches and
and
Get into that Mets bullpen as fast as you can because I don't know who Carl
I don't know who Mendoza goes to you know I mean
They went to Edwin Diaz in the seventh day and then brought him back out you know
He's thrown a ton of pitches. I mean, who can he turn to that he really trusts?
So getting into the Mets bullpen is beyond imperative
tomorrow, Noah has to give them a good amount of length
just because of what is looming in game four.
But wouldn't it just be,
I don't want to speak it into existence,
but wouldn't it be so fails to lose tomorrow
and then win game four?
Of course it would. And look, they just did that. They so fails to lose tomorrow and then win game four?
Of course it would. Uh, and look, they just did that. They, they lost the Wheeler game
and won the game too. Like, yes, absolutely. I just, I could, you could see it. You could
just see it. If we know this team the way that I think we know this team, that's how
this one is going to play out. But, but, but either way, I, I do like Nolan in this spot.
He had some good moments in 2022.
Now he ran out of gas in the, in the world series, but at least in his,
his first start and that's what tomorrow is.
Yeah.
He was great.
He was always, it was like six, six and two thirds, like shut out.
He was like no hit for a while too.
He was, it was like the Houston start.
He had like back to back freaking gems to get them in the playoffs.
And then in the playoffs, I watched, he was good in his next his next one that Braves game the nine to what the strike, you know
Beating up on Strider game like he was good until that that second start in San Diego
he was good for those first three starts that run I
watched yeah, cuz I watched the whole or like a 30-minute highlight clip of the
22 playoff run before before the postseason started and. And it really, it made me miss Sir Anthony.
And Sir Anthony was unbelievable.
He was in an off-rata.
We're all we had, like those were the only two guys we felt any, you know,
it's, it's, it is weird to that point that it, it's weird to have them go to
the bullpen and feel that anxiety again.
Like it feels like it's been a while.
It has been speaking of which happy anniversary to the 2022 Phillies. This was the, the date of the Alec bomb hit by pitch.
Love it. The comeback in the ninth and that, I mean, had they lost that game, who knows where
we're at? Who knows? Change Jeanne Segaro, baby. Who, who the Jeanne Segaro hop? Who'd have thunk it?
Bring him back, bring him back. Just as like, he should throw out a first pitch along the way. If
they keep winning here.
And then take a pitch hit when we need to put the bat on the
ball.
Yeah, you're damn straight. All right. Anything else before we
get out of here? Fritz, he will be going to New York. If you're
going up there, definitely say hi. Tell him you love the pod.
It makes him happy. And, and obviously, we'll be figuring out
ways to do the post game and all that stuff after.
So we're doing anything else?
We're doing. Yeah, we're doing. That's what I mean. Final out the postgame.
Yep. Would you put bone back in there tomorrow?
I think he's going to because he said he was going to put no, I can't remember.
I think it was the midday show today had a poll like what combo do you want for game three and it had you know stop Bones, Statsosa, Bones, Stott and I without even thinking hit Statsosa
without even thinking so well I think with tomorrow if they can get Manaya out
of there quickly then he can go back to Stott yep like I think I think Amundou
is gonna start at second and then I think I think it yeah I think it's gonna be boom at third and then moon to a second. I just starts been swinging the bat
Well, he's that good at bats. I just you know, I know the lefty thing batting 280 at city field
I mean bad new mon. Yeah, these the new Utley as everyone said he's the he's the new Utley up
It's we knew it all along. We knew it all along
Three two game in the eighth
Mimo is the guy you need to get out.
Are you going to Alvarado or Strom?
It's a great question. I'm going to Strom.
We're still on Strom.
Yeah.
I'm still on Strom though.
Look, if he doesn't come through in that spot, then done.
But yeah, I gotta trust him one more time. I have to.
Yeah. And I think Rob will.
I mean, what Rub said with you guys this morning,
I think is really true.
And I felt that after the first game, the layoff affects relief
pitchers, I think the worst because they are in a rhythm.
I would say, yep.
They're in a rhythm.
They're in a good spot.
And now they got
pitching every day, every two days, every other day, you know, like it's, and then
it's all of a sudden five days off, no matter what you simulate, it's not the
same as, as real reps.
No.
And then they just stop. I, and then they just stop.
I mean, then they just stop.
So with Hoffman and Strahm,
I think that's kind of what we're dealing with.
It did not affect Carlos Estevez again.
Oh, who'd have thunk it?
I mean, honestly, I'm not kidding.
Like, I still trust Jeff Hoffman
coming out of the pen the most,
but like tomorrow, I might feel most confident
with Estevez coming out just because of how good he
did editing.
I'm like, all right, bring him out.
That guy's a one, two, three machine.
You know what I think is gonna be fascinating this year?
The, these, these two games,
Rob Thompson, very aggressive with getting Johan Rojas
out of the game yesterday.
That is a bigger part.
Great point.
It's a big center field.
So I, I would not rush to get you. You would agree with that. I think it's, I think it's Hayes and Rojas tomorrow.
Yeah, definitely.
But yeah.
But I know people are in a rush to get Johan Rojas out of games.
I just not at city field with how big center field is there.
I, he has to stay in.
So that's going to be something to monitor.
I think it's going to be a big center field.
I think it's going to be a big center field.
I think it's going to be a big center field. I think it's going to be a big center field. I think it's going to be a big center that- Not at Citi Field. With how big center field is there, he has to stay in.
So that's gonna be something to monitor.
I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait.
I'm so excited.
Seeing how this team responds in that kind of situation
is fascinating to me.
If there's something I love more
than the CBP crowd going nuts, there's something I love more than, you know, the CBP crowd
going nuts, there's something about a silencer. There's something about a silencer.
Especially in New York, right? Like with those fans, I get like the chance to sile. Like,
like I have hated the Braves over the course of my life more than the Mets, just because
as you know, how old I am, the Braves have won. It feels like my entire life, I've just
seen the Braves win the NL East. So it's like, you know, I just, they're just always do it like my whole
freaking life. So there's something about that. But, but when you include the fan base, like it is
not even close. Like the Mets, I just, to silence that fan base up there in that spot,
it would be, it would be awesome, man. It'd be something we talk about forever if Price can just to silence that fan base up there in that spot.
It would be awesome, man. It'd be something we'd talk about forever
if Price can have that kind of moment.
Or if any of these guys can have that kind of
late inning, heroic, silence that crowd moment,
like that'll be something, you know,
that's a special one.
I wanna hear a pin drop.
That is what I wanna hear.
What you wanna hear is what you hear the silence
and then the one dude who just shows bleep like at the top of his lungs. Nothing better.
Give me the silencer, Bryce. Give me it can feel it in my bones. I promise. Won't bring
up Andrew painter going to the Arizona fall league. That's equally as exciting. Equally
as exciting at the 99 is last. Can
he pitch next round? That's what I want to know. No, out of the boat. I'm kidding. I'm
kidding. He will be in the opening day of rotation. Yes. He will. Yes. He will. All
right. Um, Fritzy have fun up in New York. Everyone check us out tomorrow night after
the game. We'll be on WIP with the post game. The pot will be in the feed. Um, go up there
and get us a win, Fritzie.
You know I will.
I know you will.
I do, business trips only.
That's right.
I found a new jersey, I found my new thing
that I'm not ready to release yet.
We gotta go on a little bit of a streak,
a little bit of a run here before I'm like,
all right, here's the thing.
We're monitoring the situation.
That's what we do on the podcast.
We monitor so many situations.
All the situations. Speaking of what we do on the podcast. We monitor so many situations. All the situations.
Speaking of what we do on this podcast,
I'm going to say go get us a couple wins.
But if nothing else, in true high-ups fashion,
get us a split, Fritzy.
OK?
Given my luck, I hope you enjoy the end of this year.
Because I will bring back nothing.
No, he's got this.
Don't worry.
All right, I'm going to bed. You got to start packing and preparing your legs for you know, a run in a couple miles around New York. Let's do it. All right
Go Phelps. We'll talk to you guys tomorrow after the game
Freaking win man until then he's for it themselves
Now it's Tucker know we're done as the good question. We get to it in the chat.
We are done.
Hey, I got it.
He's there. All right.
This is fun, boys.
I'm happy we did this.
