Doubt welcome on it. It is the final out
Jack Fritz hanging out with you here on this Wednesday night as we react to like the boys said right there a
Wednesday night as we react to like the boys said right there a
gutsy gutsy win by the Fells tonight down in
Atlanta the game wrap-up is sponsored by Roto Router when plumbing problems hit wrap them up quick and call Roto Router
Their team tackles clogs and leaks so you can stay in the game
Roto Router your MVP for plumbing solutions 215-592-9494
To get in and react to this one whether you were in Atlanta or you watch this one
On your couch like I did a lot a lot of stuff to react to a lot of good and of course
like always some some stuff to complain about stuff to complain about for sure the biggest takeaways of the game
brought to you by Morgan & Morgan
America's largest injury law firm and the biggest takeaways that was a gutsy win and
There's been some times early in the season last game of the national series sloppy
They came back at the next game much more locked in
Last game or the middle game of the Dodger series lost that came back the next day
Walked 11 times got glass now the game early looked more locked in
Last night was a sloppy loss.
There was the Rojas play, there was the JT play,
Wheeler wasn't great, and they came back tonight.
It wasn't perfect, but when you have Ty one on the mound
and you can come out of it with a win,
and it's in Atlanta, a place where,
you know, they've had better success recently,
but I just never trust the Phillies down in Atlanta
I think you're seeing some good mental toughness from this team and I thought even last night, you know last night
They should have won. I thought they gave away a game
It's frustrating when you give away a game and you win a game like tonight, but that's baseball
I mean who would have had Taiwan and
Taiwan by the way, it's not a lot of run yet
Who'd had Taiwan pitch better than than Zach Wheeler down in Atlanta
That didn't exactly have that on my bingo card
But again, that is the beauty of baseball but you know, they they they
Taiwan battled hosier a wheeze came into a tough spot and sure Bryson stop made a great great play, but that's still a tough spot
Harper big home run in Atlanta again. I mean just picturesque, a picturesque
home run from MV3. Joe Ross has to take down multiple innings, wasn't perfect, allowed
the home run to Austin Riley but still a big spot for Joe Ross. Trey hits the home run
latest first of the season. Now very happy with the home run but I don't want him to
try to get home or happy. I feel like that's when Trey gets a little bit off. So he had a good night tonight
He got on before the Harper home run hit that home run and it was a positive Trey night and then Alvarado in the night
I mean Alvarado has not pitched a
Two innings or gone back out there and tuning something gel about it over a year and a half. So yeah, that's Alvarado
Really kind of announcing that last year was,
was a bit of a fluke. You know, he's been a really good reliever here. I thought 2022 was great, obviously coming back from being sent to the minor
leagues, but they worked him really deep into that year. Same thing in 23.
He might've just been overworked and needed.
It's hard to say needed a year like last year
But I think he was overworked for two straight years and then last year was a setback year got in great shape
And I mean he was on like his 30 some pitch of the inning and he was still
9900 on the Albies
Ground out is 101 point six. I believe so he looks great that curveball is a nice little weapon to have and
You know, I think Jose Alvarado last year
He probably walked someone in that spot or does not execute but that looks like the Jose Alvarado where it was like strike
I forget what his saying was but it was was like, strike one, strike two, you're dead or something.
I mean, it was along those lines.
You get the point.
And that's what Alvarado did tonight.
So it was gutsy.
And, you know, the reality is the more and more I think about the playoff picture and
how this is going to go.
And I know there's a lot, the consensus is you need 90 wins to make the playoffs because
there's a lot of good teams in the National League.
And I will, I think that's probably true.
I think there's a lot of great, great teams
in the National League.
We're also gonna beat up on each other a lot.
And even this month for the Phillies,
like it's not exactly an easy start to the season.
I mean, Cardinals have not played great baseball,
but still, I think they were top three in team average heading into heading into today
I mean, they're still a competent team and then the Giants have been maybe this is that random year where the Giants win
Like a hundred games out of nowhere, but regardless they got them for four Marlins have a really good pitching staff
They beat the Braves five nothing today
And then they go to New York to Chicago where Kyle Sucker has been the best player in the National League and
then they get home versus the Nationals where the Nationals hung with the
Dodgers for this entire series. It's just the National League is gonna be a grind
this year so you take these wins whenever you can get them obviously but
being able to win a game started by Taiwan
and where a night you were down a good amount of relievers that's gutsy. 215.592.9494 to get in on
the final out tonight. Second big takeaway is it's just the reality this bullpen is like walking a
tightrope and tonight I was thinking about how grateful I was for last year's bullpen because last year's bullpen
Was pretty damn near lockdown. It was it they had two middle relievers that made the all-star team
Alvarado had moments
Kirkering was pretty good
Pitch like a two-some era. So yeah, it says pretty good
And even I wasn't the biggest of step as, but he was a competent major league reliever
I mean tonight they asked Hozer we used to get a big out and then come back out for another inning that
Rarely goes well Joe Ross who I think they signed as a swing man or someone that could take down multiple innings with
Some possibility for more for sure
but they were treating him tonight like he was a eighth inning guy. And they asked him to go two innings.
And he made the pitch to Austin Riley, which he didn't miss.
Again, no one better heating up Austin Riley
quite like the Fells, but man, that is a tall task
for two guys that haven't really done it.
Hozer Ruiz did it a little bit last year,
and I think there's a chance he could develop a pretty good pitcher there, but I still don't think
that's a back end of the bullpen type option. And Joe Ross, we'll see. I think that his
stuff is intriguing. Maybe as he gets more comfortable, he can develop into that. But
man, this certainly feels like the 19 to 21 bullpen and man
they have had a Romano in the bullpen seemingly every year I think Kimbrough
sometimes unfairly gets lumped into that that group but second half of the year
sure even when they had Romano and then even if the idea was he was gonna be
good they still felt an arm short.
And now with him being a huge question mark, they're two arms short.
So the bullpen is a big, big, big old question mark with this team.
And then the last point here before we go to the phones is, I think for the, for the,
for the best interest of the player, I think they got us at out bone for
They might even need to give him a couple days here. It's just he's so clearly
Not handling this well at all
You know, it hasn't totally translated into the field
But still there's some plays tonight like the one that squeaked by him and then got past Trey
He should have got to but at the plate. It's just
Just no impact. I mean his OPS is in threes. The OPS is in the threes. He's a three or four hole hitter and
He just looks like he's pressing I mean, I don't know when it became such like
Voodoo to sit a guy down for a couple games. Our whole thing is it's a marathon, not a sprint. And our whole thing
is, you know, sometimes you, you sit guys down and while it doesn't make you better
that day, it can make you better in the long run. I mean, kid looks like he's stuck in his own head and
what I can't figure out is if Charlie Manuel in 08, thinkin' 09, one of those years, one
of those years, 08 or 09, he felt comfortable enough to sit Jimmy Rollins for like eight games in the middle of the year
because you know J-Roll had a mental error down in Tampa Bay where he threw the wrong
base and he could see that he was in his own head and just needed a couple days off.
That's Charlie Manuel.
That's Jimmy Rollins, the leader of that team, of the best Phillies team of our lives.
We can't sit at Alec Bohn for a couple days
and put a Mundo in there and just let him breathe?
The kid needs to breathe right now.
Every, everything that happens at the plate
causes a huge emotion.
Because I think they're on the verge of losing Alec Bohm.
The best version of this Philly's team is still with Alec Bohm being a productive piece
of this lineup, but I think they're on the verge of losing Alec Bohm.
That's the concerning part when I watch every single night and I think when you watch every
single night is that we're watching a guy that
Is on his way to becoming a broken player and I think for the greater good of Alec Bohm
they got to sit him down they got to sit him down and
If it's one game two games, I don't know but back in the day and not to do the whole back in the day thing
It's okay to sick guys. It's okay to not let him just continue to to nosedive up there at the plate because he's killing them right
now I mean he's a hundred percent killing him right now
Marsh's killing him right now, Bohm's killing him right now, started at a good
night. 215-592-9494 to get in. Blake is in Narberth, what's happening Blake?
Hey Jack thanks for taking my call and I know it's
April but that game it felt like October especially with Alvarado and the Nines and all the pressure
really I mean it's serious to a degree it's early but the Phillies never hit Spencer Schroll box
really well. He's pitching tomorrow for the Braves it just seemed like for the Phillies they wanted
to avoid the sweep they just had to win this game tonight and now it's all turned around with the pressure on the Braves
they need to avoid getting for that hole tomorrow the Phillies it seems like they have a chance for the series win and
And to put the Braves even further in the hole for tomorrow. Yeah, it's huge. It's huge and man
Lazardo versus Schwellenbach is a fun one. It's it's it's one where you get two guys
versus well and back is a fun one. It's it's it's one where you get two guys Schwalbe is awesome, you know, and he's got the he just has the look of a great
homes had a look of a guy that would drop on the fills. He had a big sweeper.
He wasn't totally in the zone and they there was some of the old chase a little
bit early. Now they settled in into the game is fine. But yeah, like it did have
an October field of it. I didn't like like I don't care
what the Braves record is. I really don't. I don't care that they're two and eight or
whatever now two and nine. That's still a good baseball team that's trying to to lift
itself off the off the mat here. And you know, even last night and and I think for tonight
they've they've outplayed the Braves. I think they completely outplay the Dodgers. They're
they're playing good baseball
There's some things to be concerned about a hundred percent. But again, the biggest takeaway from earliest in the season
I think for a lot of us is that this looks like a more locked-in business like tough baseball team
And I think that's that's something to be proud of
Definitely and I have a point about Boam and how it rates the bullpen to a degree
I'm not giving up on Boam yet, but he as you said, he looked really lost out there tonight and it wasn't just his approaches at the plate,
but his defense looked like it was getting worse as well. Multiple misplays of balls. Last year
he was a pretty good defender by OLA. This year he has not been. He looked like he forgot how many outs there were at some point.
He was going to throw to second base and then he threw at the first base when they were two out.
So we're at some point he's gonna throw the second base and then he threw it the first base when they're two out
um I think there's still a time to turn it around
But I think there's a possibility that perhaps could they trade him for a reliever seeing Joe Ross go out there again tonight after another
And he never reminded me of Joe Girardi using Nick Nelson against the Braves after Bryce Harper hit a home run
I mean Joe Ross, I think he's okay, but but the bullpen as you said is a real concern. So do you think
bringing in
some sort of reliever and another utility player and you could cartoon them with a Mundo Sosa
For Alec Bohn could that be something to fully look at because the bullpen is concerning and you saw Kirk ring up again today
so what are your thoughts on that? Yeah, and I appreciate the phone call Blake and
It's it's tough and I I am still the mindset where I'm keeping Alec Baum
because I think that he, again, the best version of his team
is with him figuring it out and being an important piece
to this lineup and having a run producer in that spot is big.
Now, do I think he's the ideal three or four hitter?
No, obviously not.
And maybe they can just switch him and Castellanos and see how that goes. Castellanos I think he's
looked really good almost at another home run tonight almost for for player
to count on. Maybe it gets to that point where it gets so bad that they feel like
they got to trade him that's why I think they got to sit him for a little bit and
I looked it up yeah it was 2009 they sat Rollins. He made a mental error in the in a game at Tampa Bay on June 24th and and
Charlie's and at that point he was hitting 211 with a 582 OPS and this is coming off winning the World Series
You know still Jimmy Rollins now, I think he was battling some injuries that year. Probably part of the reason why didn't get going and
And Charlie Saddam for
five games. Five games. That's Jimmy Rollins. That's Jimmy Rollins. So yeah, I just think
they're on the verge of losing them. And if it comes to the point where they feel like
they got to move on from dead weight, sure. but that's not gonna happen right now.
That's more of a late June, early July,
even probably later July kind of decision.
But again, like I've brought up,
the Red Sox in 04 trade,
Nomar Garcia-Para in the middle of their season
and replace them with Orlando Cabrera,
not the same player as Nomar,
and won a World Series.
I mean, there is some precedent here and
I guess that's the worst case scenario is that this gets so bad that they feel like they have to do this and
Again, hopefully doesn't get to that point
But I really think that for for Alec and the greater good there
I think they got to sit on for little bit here. Travis is in California.
What's happening Travis?
Yo, what's up? Can you hear me?
Yeah, I got you man.
What's going on?
All right, well, first of all, good win, way to come back.
Bryce clutch as always.
It reminded me exactly of the Nick Nelson swing
or the Nick Nelson situation last year
when Joe came in and brought him in.
It was eerily similar, eerily similar.
Yeah, big swing from Trey too, that's what we pay him for. So it's about time he does something like that.
But, and I don't wanna be too negative,
but the bullpen just fricking terrifies me, dude.
I talked to you about it last night,
about the fact that like they have three good arms
or two good arms for some people,
whatever you wanna think, two to three good arms. Um, and like, God forbid, what, like,
what are they going to do if for whatever reason,
Alvarado gets injured, like they are so thin back there. And like,
like I told you last night, like by the deadline, if they wait till the deadline,
um, like their arms are going to be fricking hanging by a thread,
especially Alvarado, like he's getting overworked. They'll get a day off,
two days off, but then he'll come in, throw 30 pitches and he's off again and then they need him again
it's just like they desperately need like a couple like blowout wins to give those guys a break um
but my question is like what do you think they could do to fix the bullpen like do you think
there's anything they could do before the deadline and you think they just have their force to like sit and wait?
Yeah, yeah.
Because I know David Robertson is out there but I know they're worried about the whole
like oh if they sign up for 4 million it's really 8 million like stuff like that so.
I know, I know, I know it's a tough one Travis and I unfortunately I think you got to kind
of sit tight now I think that there are some arms up in in AAA that are
Relatively interesting. I've mentioned Max Lazar a couple times, you know, he's up to 96 and I still think his cutter is relatively
relatively interesting
Degeist was someone they picked up off waivers a couple days ago, but he has some big league experience
Just looking real quick who pitched tonight for the Pigs.
Jose Qas is, he's probably not it.
And Aogi, who they brought over from Japan,
he struck out all three batters he faced tonight.
He's got a little 245 ERA.
He would give a different look.
What are we doing?
Come on, let's get a different look in the bullpen.
But yeah, you can make a trade now, I guess, but you're going to pay way more than you
would by the deadline. I would be surprised by that. I feel like the earliest trade I've
seen them make in the last 10 years was the J. Bruce trade, and even that was in June. So I just think
it's going to be tough sledding. I think it's going to be hold on to your butts every time
they go to the bullpen and it's annoying to be back in that situation. Not that they weren't
in that situation last year, but man, it was a nice year with a couple guys with ERAs and the two coming out of the bullpen.
This is what 19, well 20 was the worst of all time, but even the 21, most of 22, right
back.
I mean this is what it feels like.
I don't think they're as drastic as those bullpens were, again alvarado strong Kirk ring really good
Key is Romano like is he done and I'll probably give him a couple days here and see the next time he pitches
Hopefully in a low lever spot if his fastballs ticking up at all, but with
With how he's pitching right now. It's it's
They got three arms and hopefully one of these other guys pop two one five five nine two
9494 is how you Get in on the other side. We'll get to the player the game the pitch count and some more positives from tonight

Oh, thank God. Thank God. Trey Turner goes yard deep off of Glaciers. I love, I love.
It's not Brockston, you know, it's not where they just dominate the guy for a couple years
stretch, but there's just some big moments off of glazius. Obviously Bryce has a lot of them
You know just kind of dominating the guy and then Trey got him tonight
It was it was absolutely beautiful and Trey is my player the game brought to you by South Jersey gas conserve
Helping customers and the community save energy and money visit South Jersey
Gas comm slash conserves. They had the home run. He had the single right before Harper and I'm not getting hit on myself
But defense hasn't looked that bad doesn't look that bad heating up there in the field
and again, I mentioned in the open but
appreciate the home run tonight, but like I for he just
Just just be gap to gap guy be gap to gap guy think line drive I think sometimes
when he starts getting too homer happy or trying to home runs that's when he starts
seeing the the big swing and miss now he did have the first of bat tonight that was was
not great from the chase standpoint there was they chased a little bit more tonight
than they had for a majority of the season. Now, I think they also did a pretty good job
about how they adjusted as the game went on.
And they got Holmes out of there relatively early,
given how well he was pitching.
And that's a guy with a good breaking ball.
And Grant Holmes is a pretty interesting pitcher.
They got their work cut out for them tomorrow
with Schwellenbach, similar breaking stuff stuff so they have to be on their game again
But there was a little bit more chase tonight, but overall again a gutsy tough
Good win by the Phillies tonight and on top of Trey. I thought some good started bats tonight
They got to get him going
You know, there's some classic started he's fell off a ton of pitches
and then roped the single up the middle.
So that was good to see.
Obviously made the big play for Jose Ruiz there in the sixth.
Yeah, so in the sixth.
And then I thought Max Gephler hasn't good at bats tonight,
which was good to see as well because I
do think that he can be a good addition for the Phillies.
Went cold there for a couple days,
but hung in there against a lefty.
And I think there's a good player there.
It was good to see him get back to how he's swinging it
in spring and early in the season.
215592, 94.94 to get in my guy Phillies.
Noah, what's happening?
How you doing Jack? Doing good, buddy. How you feeling?
Um, I would like to issue a a me a Copa on my behalf
So my first call I said that this fan base would love
Jordan Romano after they got over his funky delivery, but I am I'm full full out on him
I mean he the VLOS down, he doesn't work ahead,
and the slider has just absolutely zero bite.
So we do have some bullpen issues, I'm afraid,
but I do have a question.
So I know Ranger has a rehab start, I guess,
now in Clearwater this week.
If you get him back mid-season,
do you ride with Taiwan at five?
I mean, first of all, also I like to say this,
the people that booed Taiwan Walker on opening day
Are the same people who?
Do Eagles chance at fillies games like that was just ridiculous and that dudes laid it all out there as first two starts
But yeah, um, I mean do you move do you slide Ranger to the bullpen if you need a guy like it?
What do you do there? I mean, I don't think you're gonna get anything for
Marsh if you move Marsh and Crawford ready, like I don't really know what's out there
But how do you kind of handle that in-house we buy in the Taiwan essence is that what we're doing?
Yeah, I I mean look I mean
Last year he was not good. That's that's very odd. He was he was fine. He was fine the year before that
I mean, this is like a top five overall prospect at baseball
He got kind of gets treated like he pitches like
For a JV team in the Catholic League. He's not that bad. He's a fifth starter
Yeah, and I appreciate the phone call. I
The Ranger bullpen thing I think is gonna be tough for them to navigate because I
He's in the contract theory. He's signed with Boris. Obviously. He wants a starter. He had paid more as a starter.
I know that they can just say, hey Ranger, you're gonna go in the bullpen.
But I think they wanted him to come back and go back into the starting rotation and Taiwan.
I mean, listen, they could go six-man and keep Wheeler on his normal rest. I don't know. Again,
this is all with these guys staying healthy, of course.
But Taiwan again tonight, and we might as well get to it,
the pitch count is brought to you
by the Plumbers Union Local 690.
Protecting the health of the nation, visit plumbers690.org.
94 pitches for Taiwan tonight.
Fastball was back up to 93, which is good to see.
I think that cutter has developed
into a really good weapon for him,
especially against left-handed hitters
he can get it in there and and
Get guys off the barrel even against righties if he wants to get it, you know away from them
And again off the barrel like his three pitch if he can stick to
four seamers up that that
Get above the barrel
Slider or cutter away that can get off the barrel,
and then the splitter, it's not a bad three pitch mix.
Again, I'm trying not to get ahead of myself with Taiwan
and say there he is, like that's our fifth starter,
he's an innings eater, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It is funny, he's the only affiliate starter
who's not allowed to run yet,
and it's not like the starting staff
has been bad to start the season
but yeah, I just I
think I'm still just in wait and see mode Taiwan and if if if
Rangers ready to come back and Taiwan's still shoving guess what? That's a good problem to have so
I'm a bit in wait and see mode with the Taiwan Walker situation
But at least through two starts, I mean doing gets the Rockies is one thing doing tonight is another thing pitching into the sixth inning allowing no runs and and working his way out of some jams I
think Taiwan first of them happy for him you know last year was was brutal and I
know we had the the liking tweets thing after the the the NLCS against the Diamondbacks but I think for the most part he's a good dude and I know we have the the liking tweets thing after the the the
NLCS against the Diamondbacks, but I think for the most part he's a good dude
and I think last year his arm just might have been shot and
To his credit he worked hard this offseason and the velocity is up
you know four or five ticks or man three or four ticks, so
good for him and
We'll see if you can keep it going. We'll see how Ranger does on Thursday, tomorrow.
And then the really interesting part of this is Painter.
I mean, in a perfect world, the Phillies might have too many starters.
And do they maybe think about transitioning Andrew Painter to the bullpen or one of these
other guys?
I don't know.
But it certainly could be a good problem to have and they certainly need some bullpen help Dave and Marilyn
What's happening brother? Hey, what's up, man? It's
you know good to be eight and three and
You know the I just things I like tonight obviously Taiwan
I mean he didn't have I mean he ran in and out of trouble, but he pitched gritty pitched
you know, he pitched tough and
The other thing I liked that they saw 198 pitches tonight. Yeah.
You're not going to lose many.
You're not going to lose.
Yeah.
When you, when you see that many pitches, obviously they haven't gotten to the point
where they're doing damage and, and, you know, putting big numbers on the board.
But I think that'll come as, as the on. Couple concerns, obviously the Boam,
it's just hard to watch him play right now.
It's like watching a little league team play
when the kids get out and they cry
when they get the first base,
they get out of first base.
It seems like just the look, he's lost.
And I think he said it, I think they're losing him.
And I think he needs to, I think they're losing him and I
Think he needs to you know couple more than just one day off I think he needs to take a series off and then you know come back against the Giants hopefully and you know
Get it try to get it going and then Brandon Marsh is also lost at the plate. He just is
You know very quick very quick with. Ben Davis is staying quick with
the seat and he needs to produce a little bit. That center field is going to come in
a black hole again for us.
Oh man, going on what, 100 years running? It feels like since Shane they haven't been
able to get center field locked down. I wish there was a, I don't think, you can sit him
against the cardinals if you want. I just wish there was a road series after that but unfortunately
they come back home. But yeah, the Alec Baum thing is certainly starting to reach a breaking
point. On the other side, a look ahead to tomorrow and two things that I find interesting
going on with the team right now. We'll get to all of that coming up next on the Final
Night on Sports Radio 94 WIBA.

Tell you what, some big game calls by Fransky tonight.
I mean, that's a playoff feel.
That's a playoff feel.
That one, the Turner, the final play of the game.
That's dynamite stuff from Scott Fransky. Love to hear it. Love to hear it. Welcome on back
It's the final out sports radio 94 WIP hanging out here for the next couple minutes before we hand things off to
Tom Kelly will take you through the rest of the night come hang out with me and James Seltzer tomorrow night
It's a high hopes night and Maxis on Temple's campus,
where we'll be having some Miller Lights
and enjoying their great pizza.
And of course, we've got a little Jesus Lizardo
versus Spencer Schwellenbach.
So that'll be a fun one.
Come out tomorrow at Maxis, and we'll
watch some Phil's baseball.
We'll play some trivia, where you can win tickets watch some Phil's baseball. We're playing some trivia where you can win
tickets to Philly's game. So a lot of good stuff going on there. Now I do think it's interesting.
That was Bryce's 13th home run if you count them that series of a 12th regular season home run
since he came back from his injury in July of last year, like early July of last year.
It's been a little bit of an extended power outage for Bryce.
I mean, I'm one that needs to see Bryce Harper hit 500 home runs in a Philly's uniform.
So hopefully the power continues to kind of come back.
It's not something to, I think, press the panic button on
because he's still been a really good hitter, obviously.
But again, it's a pretty extended time
where just not a lot of home runs for a guy
who's obviously been a really,
he's not been an unbelievable home run hitter.
I think he's an overall great hitter,
but just from a home run standpoint,
that's an extended period of time
where he hasn't exactly been launching baseballs.
And hopefully as he continues to get his timing back
and he's not dealing with the injury,
we start seeing him get into one of those Bryce rhythms
of hitting home runs.
Because before the injury last year,
I thought that was the best Bryce had looked in a Phillies uniform,
even in the year that he won MVP in 2021.
So that is definitely one to kind of monitor is the Bryce home run
situation. And then another good sign,
I think for the fight of this team and playing a full 27 outs.
Now they haven't been great against starters.
You know, Sale they were great against,
Glass now they were great against,
but other than that, it hasn't been great.
Grant Holmes tonight, again, was good.
He was all around the strike zone.
I thought they chased early and then settled
into a bit of a rhythm, but still couldn't break through.
To their credit, they got him out of there in the fifth. So I thought that was good but still a lot of strikeouts and whatnot. But
heading into tonight, they were hitting over 300 with an OPS over 1,000 in the seventh
inning or later. And tonight in the seventh inning or later they had the Harper and Turner
home runs. So that number is going to get even better.
But I think from the standpoint of not giving away a game
and staying in it, their seventh inning and on stats
are pretty good.
So that's good to see.
Now tomorrow, Hazel Zardo versus Spencer Schwellenbach.
Schwellenbach's awesome.
Strider's their ace when he gets back.
Chris Sale, obviously really good.
I mean, Schwellenbach is right in there.
His last outing went eight against the Marlins and struck out 10.
So the Philly's are going to have to be patient tomorrow and be smart because
he's got a really,
really good sweeper that I just feel like I've seen the Phillies swing over,
not even just him, but like pitchers like him for the last couple of years
So we'll see it would be a good test for their improved
Chase rate either way that's gonna do it for me again come hang out on axis tomorrow
By the book ring the bell book comm the book the book that I wrote that I will shamelessly plug every night of the final
out and
Go Phil's tomorrow should be fun fun so hopefully go for a series win well
they're gonna go for a series win and hopefully Hazus Lazardo can come out
and and dominate would love to see that after last week's Dodgers start which
was absolutely electric but either way that's gonna do it for me Tom Kelly's
coming up next he'll take you through the rest of the night here on sports
