This is the High Hopes podcast.
High Hopes.

The crowd was singing High Hopes.
Smiling through
Feel a little less alone
Oh, it is another edition of the I Hope's podcast
sponsored by Miller Lite, official partner of the Philadelphia Phillies,
tastes like Miller time, celebrate responsibly.
And Fritzie, that was a big yo
for a three out of four in Miami.
But what it really was, was it was three out of four
in Miami and winning on I hope snide at ladder 15 just a professional
Sanchez Schwerber type of win and it was awesome we had so much fun seeing people last night so
many awesome people came out obviously neighbor Dan like always and Richie and all kinds of awesome
people it was James was there was so much fun. It was so great seeing everybody really.
What a thrill dude.
And they won.
They won for it.
See how you doing pal.
They won Eddie Cabrera shoved, which you know,
may have maybe shouldn't have taken them out
at 70 pitches.
I don't know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Shouts in the Marlins clearly in the middle of their tank.
And he's any player that is showing any kind of progression
time to get rid of them.
So dynamite stuff, artz goes deep because like dude I
was getting so I guess proactively upset for Chris Sanchez and how he allowed
that run it was nonsense it was nonsense he was brilliant last night and this
starting staff.
I mean, it's hard to do the 11 comparisons, but they are just a treat
every single day going out there, Sanchez.
This is what people thought, you know, heading into the season. Like this is why he was where he was.
I heard Cy Young Kennedy, you know, in the Cy Young conversation.
He's filling up the strike zone back to back outings
without a walk. It was easy. He was, I think his velocity is like back down to 95, which I know
people would traditionally get worried about. But I think in his case, getting back to 95, but being
able to fill up the strike zone is a is a much different thing and then he can you can break out
97-98 when he needs to and and and and blow hitters doors off so man, you know
Schwab ergo's DP needed that I think he was five first last 44 heading into the game
Sanchez got really unlucky and we are only a hundred and twenty two saves away from Jonathan freaking
Papel bond, baby.
Yeah.
I love this.
I'm all in on this new bit.
I'm there with it.
A hundred and twenty two to go.
The fact that Jonathan Papel bond, it wouldn't the fillies have been, you know,
saves have been a step, whatever, since the seventies or something like, like
eighties, like early eighties, like the fact that Jonathan Pabobon in the history of this franchise is
the leader in saves is an absolute joke and a travesty. So I'm with you. I love the bit.
And look to your point, not to mention that, that, you know, has 97, 98 in his back pocket,
but Christopher Sanchez has the best outpitch on the team. Like one of the best pitches in
major league baseball, his changeup is literally statistically one of the best pitches in Major League Baseball, his change up is literally statistically, one of
the best pitches, if not the best, most effective pitch in
the sport right now. So he was awesome. I thought it was his
best outing of the season. I know that the strikeouts weren't
there in the same way it has been in other starts, but the
efficiency with which he worked last night, the, you know,
ground ball outs, just the speed,
the confidence.
I mean, it was a joy to watch.
It was like a two hour and 15 minute baseball game because Chris Sanchez was just like so
locked in and so efficient and just handling business.
And yet, your point, Jack, it really look, I think it it's an arguable that this staff is deeper than the 11 staff, you know, you can argue whether how they Lee and Hamill's at the top, make it better than Wheeler and Sanchez and Suarez or whatever.
But I really look, they have pitching staffs for a season. I would take this one.
Like I do think it's better.
I think it is deeper.
I think that, you know, yes, Roy Halliday is the best pitcher of the group, but it's
not like Wheeler's that far off from Halliday.
It's not like Suarez, what he's doing right now is that far off from Cliff Lee.
Like it's been, to your point, It's been a real joy and one of the it's really one of the best
Phillies units we've ever seen in our lifetime Jack literally
totally totally and
The nice part about where they're currently at is it feels like they're all rounding in the form at the same time
Wheeler's rounded into form
Suarez one point one eight e ra since May 10th
He's him and scuba by the numbers in the last
39 innings they have the same stats. That's Tarek scuba who is insane. Like it just watch the guy
pitch and say and watch Ranger pitch and be like, wow, how Yep. Yep. Chris Sanchez, I think his last
three starts has looked more like the Chris Sanchez that we have or again the one that we were were expecting. Losardo was not great the other night but
I didn't think it was a tipping pitches problem I think his command was just off
and I think that maybe being back in his in his home ballpark facing his former
team maybe a little jittery. We've seen stretches of brilliance. Mick Abel's been
a really fun little addition here. It continues to be intriguing. Wasn't dominant his
last time out, but still pitched, did his job, got them deep in the ball game and and was able to
help with a win. And then we'll see if Nola ever gets on a mound again. You know, I guess.
Think about like how we're talking about like best pitching staff we've ever seen or one of the best
two and Aaron Nola is not even a part of it. Not even a factor. It's crazy.
It is. And we'll see what happens with with with Andrew Painter,
but at least with those guys, the depth of the give them and 11.
Oswald was a bigger name than than what he actually put on the field that year.
You know, we always we always talk about the four aces.
Well, Oswald wasn't at that point not the same kind of guy.
So it was really those three and Hamels pitched to a two point seven nine. We were talking about the four aces. Well, Oswald wasn't at that point, not the same kind of guy. So
It was really those three and and hamels pitched to a 2.79. He was great that year
We know cliff we know when we know haliday, but at least I mean even the fact that we're having this conversation
And we know what the 11 staff did shows you how how truly great they are
and it just
It's part of why even the frustrations that you're going to have
with the offense, they're not great. They are a frustrating unit. Seems like some guys just
cannot get high at the same time, which I understand is baseball. But when you have
that staff, and you have the ability to eventually put one of them in the bullpen,
and you have the ability to eventually put one of them in the bullpen, you have a chance to beat anyone, anytime, in any series.
And I think it's actually been overlooked how great that staff is
because we are obsessed with the bullpen and obsessed with the lineup, which is fine.
Those things could come back to bite them in October. But you know what?
Almost every one of those other teams does not have this starting rotation. This group of guys
that are pitching at the level they are. So I just, when you have this with the deadline looming,
with everything we know about the question marks about the future of Ranger and the future of Wheeler,
know about the question marks about the future of Ranger and the future of Wheeler. We've both been kind of the same boat of, you know, do you really want to put some of
the big guys on the table to go out and make this team, you know, marketably better or
just kind of let it run its course?
You're not going to get this starting staff every single day, James.
You're not going to get this starting staff every single day, James. You're not going to get the starting staff every single season.
And then that just has to factor into the calculus as to how the rest of the season
goes with the trade deadline.
So I am absolutely turning on that.
Like I know you have to.
I am as look because they keep playing a baseball, you know, outside of that, that, you know,
nine of ten losing streak
They had I mean they've pretty much played good baseball since the start of the season and had been pretty consistently good and consistent
Series they've been a good series and that's why this weekend which we'll get to is such a massive
Massive series tied with the Mets by the way after last night the Mets have been on a losing streak the Phillies playing good
Ball, so they are tied going in the series. Well, obviously we'll get
to that. But yeah, look, I, I think that especially when we look at this window and this time
and Harper and how great Trey has been, you know, which obviously I know you've been pounding
the drum for him being underrated this year and he absolutely has been. I mean, he is,
you know, he's arguably been as good as Schwab. You know, we're talking about chores and MVP
candidate. And in terms of what the players meant to the team,
you could argue Trey Turner has been just as valuable
or close, maybe close to as valuable as Schwerber.
And with the staff and if Harper can come back,
it is an opportunity where it does,
and not just that Jack, they do have really defined needs.
You don't go into this trade deadline saying,
well, we've got a lot of holes. Kind of of what do we like? Yes, they have holes,
they could upgrade at certain spots, but you can really go into this and say, all
right, if they get an outfielder, a bat, or, you know, just a bat and move guys
around, if they add a bat and they add a legit bullpen arm, like, you know, they're
kind of there, they're kind of with everybody else. So I I'm right there with you
Especially as they keep playing well as they've won without Harper in the lap
They've showed some toughness and fortitude some resiliency from this group
And then also when you think about the rotation you were talking about
I mean, you're also going into the playoffs potentially with like guys like Wheeler and Suarez who are not just you know
Having great years but have been great playoff performers Christopher Sanchez last year was really good in the
playoffs. Like we've seen guys, like these guys are not just
great pitchers and a great starting staff. They're also
guys you can take into October jack with like, real
experience, real statistical evidence that these guys can
come through in these big spots. Like, Lizardo is really
the only one you go into the playoffs unsure about, you know, so as a playoff performer.
So I think when you put it all together, Jack, I'm, I'm really with you. Like this over the
last, you know, since we did that pod where we're like after, not after the losing streak,
but when they had won a few after and we're sitting there and like, we both were literally
saying, I don't know what to make
of this team.
I don't know how much I should believe.
I don't know what they are.
I'm so, it was the most confused we'd ever been with this group.
Like the last week and a half, whatever it's been has really started to turn me towards,
you know what?
You know, I'm not trading Aiden Miller, but I'm willing to move some guys that I care
about that I consider to be a part of the future
to go for this thing this year.
Like I'm really getting there, Jack.
We've reached bleep it mode.
We've reached bleep it mode.
Yes, yes.
Yes, they proved it.
I said they had to prove it and they're proving it.
Well, and the thing that I always forget
and then remind myself right around this time,
about a month away from the trade or from the from the draft
You know
Buddy is like if you have again if you have confidence in the guys that are drafting
If you have confidence in the guys that are developing if you have confidence in your international scouting
Which I believe that they are starting to, uh, you know, figure out a little bit
and then you should be all right.
Like you should be able to replenish supplement, supplement talent.
So yeah, it seems like the calculus could be changing here.
You start thinking about the expiration date that feels like it's coming with Wheeler.
You know, you start thinking about the 2020. Well, it could be the 2027
season. Yeah. 2027, the 26 lockout is going to be that. Another thing. Yeah. That influences things.
You're right. And that feels like it's going to be a bloodbath with like, it feels like a lockout,
sadly is inevitable. And I hate that, but it feels like it's inevitable. Yeah, I totally agree. So,
I hate that, but it feels like it's inevitable. Yeah, I totally agree.
So man, I just, and they're not perfect.
They're not great right now, but they're good.
And they have righted the ship here.
They don't look rudderless
and they have shown some real fortitude
and you're starting to get some contributions.
And the one thing that's going to be the one thing is hard to
judge right now is a couple of things.
One, like we I love Ranger.
Is he going to hold up?
Is he of course, remember the first last last year, what he's
doing now is exactly what he did to start last year.
Then the back thing happened and he was never the same.
How real is this bone thing where we've seen him have his great moments and then and then
we've seen him turtle up? How is this? Is this the Kepler they're getting the rest of the season?
Or is are we going to go through a month where he's hitting 150 again?
What version of of of Bryson stock can we expect? is that a position that you maybe should look to upgrade
at the trade deadline? I don't know. You know, like there's what and the biggest factor in
all of this and it sure it sure seems like he's gonna be back maybe this weekend. I think
Bryce could play this weekend. I don't know. I don't think it's gonna be tonight. I think
it's a little bit too fast because he just took dry hacks yesterday But I think and I think he's hitting off a tee today
But maybe tomorrow night Sunday night for Sunday night baseball Bryce gets back in there
What version of Bryce are we getting and that that could also?
Really factor in for the trade deadline of believing in the squad. Let's say Bryce starts going nuclear
let's say Bryce it comes off this this, this, this IELTS stint and the, and the wrist thing and
looks like one of the ten best players in the National League again.
It's gonna be pretty hard to sit there at the trade deadline
with everything going on with the staff and with the way that Turner's playing and the way Schwab is playing in a contract year and
with the way that hopefully Bryce
turns it on and just say,
we got to think about five years from now.
It's going to be really hard to do.

No one builds a legacy by standing still. Start your journey at remover.com. Absolutely it is. And especially with how much they've already
committed to this run. I know like sunk cost fallacy and all that, you're not supposed to
do something just because you put your chips in the middle, but they have put their chips in the
middle with this group over the last few years. And this is a group that does have a chance. And
look, they have one of the best records in baseball right now. I think it's only the tigers and maybe the Dodgers and the Dodgers.
I think you're only a half game better.
I mean, they're, they're right.
And obviously tie with the Mets, but you know, they've, they are right
there with the best teams in baseball.
I mean, we're talking again, like also the Dodgers don't feel as
invincible as it felt when they made all the moves, they've had some injuries.
They've lost some guys.
They're still a long way to go.
Now show is pitching again, all that.
But, and it's baseball, you know, we know that in, in October,
if the Phillies hit the staff, like they, and they get some, some key pitching the bullpen,
like they could absolutely win the world series. They are one of a handful of teams that has a
real, real chance to win the world series this year. And the pricing is so key to your point,
especially with about, you know, a month and 10 days a month and 11 days, whatever it is till the trade deadline.
You'll break because we've talked about it with him gone and the whole thing.
I mean, the life's just completely different when he's in there and when he's hitting it, it changes the whole complexion of everything they do.
Guys are putting the right spots in the lab.
You don't have bone bag three, you know, this, that, you know, you've got it.
It just works.
And I like it's, it's going come to and look, we know that hard
Brad, I think people give him a little grace when he comes back, we know that when he comes back from these
injuries, sometimes he doesn't start, he'll usually Homer in that first game and then struggle for a bit, like we
saw with Toronto. But, you know, if Bryce can can really get going and establish into your point show that he is
back to being Bryce, and we're not as concerned about like, has he, you know, uh, started the decline or we know he started the game, but is the
decline precipitating or whatever? I mean, it totally changes this whole team and, and
the field going into the trade deadline. So, uh, dude, I'm right there with you. All right.
We don't have a ton of time because you have to work and I'm off today and I got to do
some errands and stuff, but like a couple of things to get to before. And we'll talk
more big picture after, you know, Monday morning after the game.
And this is just a massive series, biggest series of the season.
The type of first place Philly's been going up.
The Mets been going down.
It's so especially with, as we know, like the last few years against the Mets,
the one this year, the playoffs, like it feels like the Mets really are right now.
Jack, that kind of like, you know, big bad for the Phillies that they just
haven't been able to kind of get past in the moment. So I do think it's a big series
from that perspective. But a couple of things we have to get to today before we are reacting
to the med series and previewing it. The Cassiano thing, because we have not done a pod since
that happened. That happened obviously in the, you know, the, the him getting bench and then
the, you know, the getting replaced late and then him getting
benched it happened after the last pod we did so we haven't really talked about it and obviously
casty back in interesting the last two nights in close games he doesn't replace casty late
uh where are you at with the old casty thompson thing and and doesn't really mean anything
yeah well first off i think how they've responded to it has been really important
I was very concerned, you know Monday night or you know
whatever Tuesday comes out that he's not playing and he says something inappropriate my first thought was
Did he rip a teammate?
You know, I didn't feel like it was a thing at Thompson might have ended up being that way no idea
But my first fear was not even like you took a shot at a younger player
I know a lot of people jump to the Rojas conclusion
But my fear was like well
Why don't you pull Trey laden games or going after another quote-unquote star on the team?
And I thought that could be fracturing and that's something that could come back to really hurt them
But I think how how those two guys have
maneuvered this Thompson saying over and over again, I love
Nick Gassiano's, you know, and pointing out all the good. And
by the way, giving him a shot, you know,
yeah, lucky and the ball found him, of course, the most
visible. Yeah, so it's hard not to laugh. It was hard. I
absolutely chuckled what once he caught it.
At first, I was terrified, especially
as it looked like the ball might carry
and it might just be a walk off home run.
So I was terrified in the moment.
But when he caught it, my first instinct was like a chuckle.
It was like, you've got to be kidding me, dude.
So good.
So good.
So lift the shirt up, does the whole thing.
I was just like, of course.
Of course.
But I think I think both learned a lot about each other during this thing.
You know, maybe Thompson has to massage it a little bit more.
Can't and I, I don't believe that was the first time he just was, I think they've talked
about it.
I think they've had this guy.
Oh, I agree.
I think it's insane to think that Topper just walked out there and was like, Hey, I'm taking
you out without ever broaching the possibility that he could do that in a game.
Like I think that would be, I just, I do not believe that happened.
So I think that, that I think both have learned, I think, I think Cassian has learned first
off, there's a line you can't cross. They ended his, his, his games play straight. Yeah.
I mean, Cal can rest easy again. I know. I know. So, so the players learn there's real
consequences. You can't you know cross the manager manager
Maybe learn something about how to to get his message across and it really feels like both are moving forward in a positive way
You know, there's the the article a lot of articles being written without what Cassiano said last night
But Cassiano said that you know, I went to Dombrovsky I said, all right, give me all the metrics give me all the numbers of where my defense is so I can dive in and try to be better and
You know to Cassie answers credit. He's looked a little spryer out there the last two nights
Cat out there, but he's he looks a little bit more locked in and and you know in the at least in the first game
He swung at four pitches and you know
He drove a couple of baseballs. I think I think angry Cassie good work
I think there's some angry Cassie could do some things here
So, you know, I think it was an interesting I think they much like how the Eagles with the BG comments
BG comments they navigated that that could have blown up the team.
And ultimately, I think that was something that pulled the Eagles together. I think that ended
up being a good thing. There needed to be tough conversations had with last year's Eagles team,
and that forced them all to talk about it. And ultimately, we know how that ended. I don't think
this was as dramatic as that was. I think this was just maybe a miscommunication or maybe hurt feelings. Pride was on the line, you know,
from Cassiano's standpoint defensively. And, and I think this could end up being a positive
and maybe a nice understanding moment between a manager and and a quote unquote star player.
Yeah. So I'm mostly on the same page with you. I, I give Crasty
credit for asking for the metrics, but you know, I would
have loved if he asked for the metrics earlier, you know, if
that was something, you know, and like, and also just for him
to have attitude when he in the past has talked about the fact
that during the regular season, he's not as locked in on defense. I mean, it just, I think that good managing in those situations,
like that's something we've seen a long time. Look, Eric Bruntley used to replace Pat Burrow
all the time in Oh wait, we remember that, right? Like, and Burrow was a big dog on the
team and frankly, Burrow was a better hitter at that time than Cassianos has been like,
honestly. So I, is this something that happens in baseball?
It's part of the sport.
I like the idea that Topper was willing to do it in the first place.
I now the next two are run, run games.
So I guess it was a three run game, then a two run game, and then a one run game
the next night, and I don't love that he didn't go back to doing it again.
Like I worry that the reaction cast the ad might stop Topper from doing it in a situation where he should do it moving forward.
But on the whole, in the moment, it definitely felt like something that could be a problem that
could be a sign of real unrest or a sign of a team that doesn't respect the manager or whatever.
And I do think we got to a point where, you know, the way they played and the way they talked and you know, the way they handled it. I feel good about it, but I just
worry that to your point about Rob learning something about the way to handle these guys,
I just hope he's still willing to make the move when he has to, and isn't kind of, you
know, scared off by it or however, you
know what I mean? Like I, I hope that this didn't cause him to in a, in a spot, not take
Cassie out when he should and ultimately comes back to bite. You know what I mean? Yeah.
And I think last night, you know, one run game, you don't want to lose it in the lineup.
Now the, the contrary to that would be that he did just that.
So the likelihood of him going back out there is pretty small.
But at the same time, I don't think you could just be the hard line, you know, hard ass.
I don't think you do it every game or anything like that.
I get your point, but like, you know, so that's my only concern.
But on the whole, I generally agree.
And I think we're on the other side of it.
All right. One other thing I want to get into before, you know, a quick take back
and we look at the Mets, but the Rangers thing, because I do think
she's restart calling the Ranger thing.
Are we sure you know what I mean?
Seriously, though, because we're getting to the point where it's like, hey,
I'm certainly not trading with the trade deadline.
I know that it's like, are you crazy? He's my, he's my game to starter
right now. Like him and say, like him Sanchez and Wheeler as of today are like my three and
Los Arcos, the four at the moment, like that's how great Rangers been with the playoff pedigree,
the whole thing. But like we're starting at the point. And obviously, you know, we, I think we
all wish we could maybe like just hand Ranger, theOLA contractor portion of it, but that's not
Right exactly. I would do that a second
but
where you have a three-inter thing because I do think it's starting to become a real question of
You know, do they find a way to resign? Do they say all right? Lizardo is gonna be gone in a year
Let's keep Ranger cuz we can't like it's just and then just moving forward to you know that the that we had talked a lot about moving range of the bullpen like is that something that's
on the table exactly right so um what do you have with the Ranger thing well again the nice part for
the Phillies is they have uh three months to of more data to collect as it stands right now
it would feel horrible to let Ranger just walk out of the door.
It would feel horrible. Now, if we gear, if we're sitting there in September, he is back is breaking
down. He that sounds harsh. It he's starting to get possible. The point being that if we if if it's
the same thing as last year, if where he had this great run, but then he can't finish it out and he
has some injury issues, whatever it is, like that is notable in the sense that he's never done this for a full
year.
Right. So yeah, so they have a lot. They have a good amount of time to get more data on
the decision. I'm having a really tough time just saying bye and just saying thanks for all the good memories, but
it's your time. And I love Hazes Lazardo. I mean, but if again, I know he's three years
younger. But like I, if I had to bet on the next four years, I think I would probably
bet on Ranger right now, just because of Lazardo's arm stuff and he can't.
It's easy for Ranger too.
Like it's not about velocity, it's he's a pitcher.
You know, he should age well.
He should age fine.
He should age fine.
It's pretty effortless out there.
So, and the Wheeler thing does have to factor in.
They only have two years left of Zach Wheeler.
What version of Erin Noller are you getting now also has to factor in. They only have two years left of Zach Wheeler. What version of Aaron
Nolah are you getting now also has to factor in? Man, I just what does a Ranger contract even look
like? I dude I don't know. Joe keeps saying on the air that it's like a lock to get over 100 million
and I kept being like I don't think so. I don't think so. And now I'm starting to be like, I don't
know. Maybe we'll get 100 million. Like, you know, my initial thought if I had to bet right now, how will
finish out of the state, whatever I would say like, four for 80 or 90 is is like, possible,
but like he's pitching himself to more money and Boris is his agent. So, you know, so I
don't know, I've, I've really increased what I thought it was a fair amount over the last
month. You know what I mean?
I mean dude knowles ended up getting five hundred and sadly. Yeah
so and that was a longer track record of it for what it's worth, but I
Know so as confused as we were after the cub series
I am still as confused as ever about what I feel about Rangers Suarez, but currently right now
He's a blast to watch and I'm gonna have a really tough time just saying

A three hour Miller Lite pint special.
What a great deal.
Any three dollar Miller Lite pint special is just a banger.
Miller Lite's for Phil's win. Shout out to the Hollywood Tavern.
All right. Quick take back for a nice little tough pocket of the schedule.
Met's Padres. Yeah.
Back to back series.
So a good test to see how how I guess battle tested this team is and how ready
they are to go. So Met's Padres back to back series.
Speaking of the Padres.
Can some met where one this weekend?
I mean, you talk about you talk about entertainment
You still an after Otani do the hit Otani go times. I love that. I thought it was so
You know, you know me I could be hit or miss on this but that felt it felt big in the moment, dude
Listen wheels first pitch. Ah, come on hit Lindor on hit Lindor on the backside and let's set a tone early
Come on, man. I need some Pista cups
this weekend. I want just a little just a little I want the
edge there. I want to feel like these two teams hate each other.
I want the old oh seven to 11. Mets hate back. I want that all
back. Where one where one.
Dude, I feel these meds hate and honestly, I feel like we're
we're ready for it. Like,
ready for at least a fan base right now there is no team that
we hate more than the Mets after the playoffs last year after
the last like, really last few years, I know we've had some
success against them. But it really feels like ever since the
Mets reestablished and had that 101 win season or whatever it was.
It feels like every like I feel like the Mets have just had our number far more than we've had their number over that time. So to your point, like, especially that series in New York this year after the playoffs, like we all wanted to see this Philly's team go up there and be like, screw you guys, like, I know you beat us in the playoffs, but we're back.
We're ready.
And it was the exact opposite of that.
So I, I need to see them like show some fricking toughness against the Mets.
I'm with you.
However they go about it.
Like I, I do need to see.
Get uncle Mo back on your side.
Get momentum back on your side.
Show a little gumption.
Don't treat this just like another June series.
I just don't want that. I want, I want to, I want them to play with an edge this weekend, play with
a fricking edge. Couple quick things. Were my questions too hard last night? I don't think they
were. I really don't. Honestly, I don't think they were. I think what it was was, and shout out to everyone who came it was
awesome. I think we realized pretty quickly that there were
only a couple people there who are like hardcore hardcore
Phillies trivia type people. So I had some questions that I just
kind of moved to the back and went with the lighter end. But I
do not think at a you know, a normal for a nor like high hopes crowd
I felt like your questions were fair
The one question the other one the other one everyone should have got where to a bone go to college
That's yeah, that was bad like that
It was bad for the for for people who are curious what the other question was
It was which member of the 2010 giants was in the marlins line up the night that Royale threw the perfect game.
And so that one else, you should just hear 2010 Giants and think something,
you know, I had to eventually give out the NLCS MVP and
memories and then final thing here.
Just saying.
I'm talking myself back into a Buxton trade. I just oh
God, but you know the moment trade from is gonna get hurt like he is raking though
And he had when he gets a hold of one like it does feel like he hits it about as far as anyone
Not named cash war, but like an Aaron judge like his balls really explode off the bat only
15 million each of the next
Three seasons 15 million. He's still an elite defensive center fielder can hit the ball a mile
Bats seven six fifth he can hit anywhere. I don't know man
healthy
That's that's the rub right? I mean like it's really what it comes down to with him
That's the that's the rub right? I mean like it's really what it comes down to with him
Bokston Bokston now, I don't think I'm currently fixated on Bokston or Duran Duran's probably not moving
But I think at the current junction
Those are the two two guys. I'm I they're the ones that make the most sense
And look the thing about bucks and two bucks and is a right handed bat, which would be a real thrill. So when you can like fire a box and that what I didn't know
those existed, he can play center field and hit.
That's a that's a big that's a good thing to have.
Compared compared to Duran, I think he will cost less than Bender.
And I think he has less years of control, but also just the fact that like,
Buxin is super talented, but we all know like the guy has never made it through a season.
So that will be factored into his value.
You know, Buxin and Griffin-Jax, that's the world's all buddy that actually,
seriously Buxin and Griffin Jackson would be or or.
Yeah, you know.
Yeah. Either of them would be just so massive.
Yeah. Now, Johan Johan Duran by cost.
Yeah, I was I'm happy you were
because we just talked about Jaren Duran and I'm glad you clarified they were
talking about the twins reliever.
Yes.
But Griffin Jackson.
Yeah, he's better.
I mean, Duran Duran would probably be I don't know how many years of control
He has but you know, he's one of the better relievers in the sport. Uh-huh. So that's all I got
That's all I got big weekend big weekend. Let's go start a brawl
fight
Show some heart and I'll see you on Sunday Harper. Oh
Yeah, buddy. What a big weekend take down the frickin Like, if ever we needed two or three, it's this one.
Uh, we'll be back Monday morning, I would assume,
because, you know, late game for your boy.
But, uh, we'll be act obviously back to react after this, uh, this big weekend.
Again, thank you to everyone who came out the ladder 15.
We had a great time. It was awesome.
Uh, we're planning the next night, the date for it.
So we'll let you know as soon as we have it and give you some time to plan and all that,
but we're looking forward to it.
So until then, peace for it's themselves.
