What was disheartening about this series is that those guys freaking mashed, dude. Like they can't pitch. Everyone who came up just were like ripping it all over the field. Like I was trying like, I can't, like I can't, you know.

Was I watching the Los Angeles Angels or was I watching the 90s Blake Street Bombers? Like, why are we watching this Angels line, which if you take Mike Trout out of it, costs one tenth what the Phillies cost or whatever, maybe less, who the hell knows? And I would swap lines in a second. I'd be like, sure, I'll take those guys. Yes. Those guys are awesome. Dude.

rich market in terms of a lot of the teams that are out of it and willing to trade have decent closers that are, you know, at least a lot of them. So, you know, him and probably bought Tista would probably be my top two, but I think Duran would be my top guy. If I could just choose any of them, regardless of price, but man, like even for him, I don't think I wouldn't want to give up. Eden Miller, like I would, I could get there. Like you could, you could convince me for him for two and a half years of control with him and how great he is and what he could do for you. Like I get it.

And I get that that's the price, but like, I don't think that there's any way if they trade for one of these top guys, I'm going to feel great about what they have to give up. Like, I just don't think there's any way it might work out. They might want a world series because of it. And it's like, great. We did it. Like who cares?

I like the bullpen is is really real. Like we talked about don't trade everything for the closer like the bullpen is so far from good enough. But to your point, like

the starting pitching, like we've said, it has to be special. It's the only thing that makes him special. But like, the lineup has to be good. good if not it has to be good for them to have a chance and potentially great because the talent is there for it but you know it's just well but it's really just not close to good enough i know but i'm saying the theoretical talent you're right i think we all know that it's not going to get there at this point yes like it it's it's after after harper it is a hope and a prayer just those guys You got three guys and that's it and like maybe maybe will you flip on the camp? Like yeah, he was like 73% like two weeks after.
