Welcome back to Althea the Dragon Empire. Our heroes sought out Rexenath Oregon, one of
Zampheus's estranged siblings who serve his gold dragon father. Whilst they hoped for a peaceful
resolution, Rexenath feared failing Oregonis and his retribution more than he feared the heroes,
and so battle ensued. Rexanath, however, had
come prepared and quickly activated an anti-magic field via some sort of giant runestone embedded
into his armor, and then relentlessly pursued Xanthias to try and finish the fight quickly.
The heroes and their allies, Malady and Benedicta, fought valiantly through, though luck and fate
did not seem to be on their side. With Wrexanath using strange black crystals to summon shadowy
allies to help even the odds, it was a tense battle. Eventually, as Xanthius attempted to take flight
to escape Rex's reach.
His brother leaped 30 feet into the air
and crashed into him,
causing the anti-magic field
to bear Xanthius to the ground.
Rex rained down blows,
and Xanthius was brought to death's door.
And in that moment,
Xanthius asked Sovereign for help.
And Sovereign answered.
Zanthius' crown-still arm
rapidly mutated,
and raw determination brought Zanthius to his feet,
now armed with a weapon and extra defense.
He attempted to strike the final blow to shatter the run stone,
but Rexanath was able to parry it.
However, this created an opening for Sister Benedicta to attack,
and with her great sword shattered the stone, dispelling the field.
And now the fight continues.
We find ourselves, you are on the sort of worn trail road
just adjacent to the Ashen Citadel,
where once long ago you fought several cultists.
We have Xanthius and Benedict.
dictator engaged in melee combat with Rexnath in the center of the road.
Rowan,
Rowan close by,
Malady off to the side,
a shadowy marksman hiding behind a wall nearby,
with Daisy using her celestial wings to fly in the air,
while Gruff and Ophelia stand near to Daisy in the tree line.
The last thing that happened was Sister Malady had taken her turn
and had activated her manor zone, moonlit realm,
causing shadowy, fey, fey-like trees and overgrowth.
It was almost illusory terrain to begin to appear around in about a 40-foot radius.
And the call out that this will aid those of you who are using healing magic.
And that was the very last thing.
So we haven't taken advantage of that yet.
Not yet.
No, that was the very last thing that happened.
Wanked off some spells on you yet.
No.
Sorry.
So, a couple of little little.
little bookkeeping reminders.
Ophelia, Xanthius, and Daisy all have one level of exhaustion
caused by one of Rexnaz's attacks.
The anti-magic field is now down,
but Rexnaf has barely been injured,
and as I mentioned, he has come very much prepared
and knew that the anti-magic field going away would be a possibility.
So don't think he's out of tricks and moves just yet.
We've got him.
We've got him on the ropes.
Yeah, and I think that is where we're going to jump
straight back in, I will...
Actually, no, there's one thing I do need to make clear.
Xanthius, you and Benedict are being so close.
Once that anti-magic field goes down,
you see Rexnav, who is on a sort of...
You can see that he's starting to come down
from that adrenal, alchemical injection he had.
But you now see Xanthius,
and you can now almost feel,
now that you've drawn so close to him
and that anti-magic field is no longer present.
There is...
you see, I imagine that for Xanthius,
you can almost see them.
There are almost like lines running through his body
and you can, you get the sense that there are
chunks of crown steel embedded into his flesh,
like surgically implanted into parts of him.
Not sure where, you can't tell where,
but you can just get the sense that like.
As in like painting, like honoring or?
You're not sure, but you get the sense that,
and you can see that once the anti-magic field goes down,
there is a sort of the muscles almost get a bit larger.
His reflexes seem to grow a little bit quicker,
as if whatever that crown steel was,
it's the type that enhances someone's physical.
Well, it's an element of that, right?
To link this back, it's a little bit where like
when Callas took off his heavy armor kind of thing.
You see his speed and his strength have gone up.
But, and that means that he has also now jumped up
in the initiative order as his initiative is also increased.
But Aphelia, followed by Gruff, are still to act.
We do need to do fate, that's very important.
Oh, new freight.
New freight, new freight.
That's gonna be very important for the day.
As he does have his fate actions back.
He has also used one of his two reactions.
Yes. Yeah.
I got his six.
A six, that is a point for you.
I also got a six.
That is another dice for you.
Dose.
A dose, that's one for me.
A dose.
Another dose?
That's another one for me.
Six.
A six, that's another one for you guys.
Is it gonna be an even Stevens?
F-f-f-you-Stevens.
F-f-frey-up.
B-P-Eep.
A one.
A one.
That's one.
Even Steven.
No!
No!
Stephen!
All right, tough it.
If you're watching this or listening to this
and your name is Steven,
fuck you.
You're fine.
You're fine.
If you know a guy called even,
oh.
Fuck that guy.
With that, lots of admin, I apologize.
Let's jump into the action with Cister.
with Sister Ophelia Del Aracer.
It is your turn.
Cool, cool, cool.
Yeah, I think Ophelia is going to charge towards Rex and Anthe.
You can just call him Rex, it's fine.
And I will go to his left side.
Left side to it, like here?
Yeah, but right next to him.
Right next to him.
So next to Sister Benedicta.
Perfect.
You charge up.
Charge right up to him.
And I'm going to try to attack him
but use a forceful blow on this one.
Okay.
or go any advantage.
Is that the push one?
Yes.
Cocked.
Give it a re-roll.
So you come in swinging with Veracity, I'm assuming.
Probably miss.
16.
He's not enough.
His tough defenses, you already saw that he's got wearing,
he's wearing heavy plate armor,
but he's also very skilled,
able to kind of parry the blow.
And you do see that, like, with that force will blow,
you still strike him and he kind of skids a few inches,
but he uses the spear to almost stop him
from being, like, launched as he parry.
not parries the blow, but, you know, deflex the blade.
I'll strike again, use fate this time.
Or you're going to spend a point of fate?
I would like to hit them.
Okay.
Oh my Christ.
You're going back in the dungeon.
14.
He's not enough.
Did you un-exile all over your prison, dice?
I did un-exile them, mistakenly.
And just to check with your brutal strikes,
is that on the attack you announce it for?
So the second attack, would that have had the brutal strike?
It says if it, like, if it hits, it goes off.
But if it doesn't, you can trigger it again.
Okay, perfect.
That's good to know.
Well, Aphelia, you rush up and this is a skilled combatant.
You go to strike and just not effortlessly,
but you can see that he's able to just sense your movement,
you're fighting starting with this great spear in his hand,
just kind of knock you to the side as you go.
Gruff is next up.
I am not going to do a fated action just yet.
So anti-magic down.
Antimagic is down.
I will slide.
Feeling up.
So, mask of your wounds is a thirsty radius.
So I think if I hit it in the middle of all of us,
I think I will get all of us apart from...
But it's 30 feet from you?
From me.
Oh, then it's 60 foot.
Range 60 foot.
Oh, okay.
Oh, so you can place it.
You can...
Is it range?
What does it say?
Read it out.
30 foot radius sphere.
I can shoot that out.
Oh, okay.
So it doesn't have...
Oh, okay.
It doesn't have to be from you.
That's great.
Well, these ones should...
Because it says range 60 foot area 30 foot.
Yeah.
Either way, I want to do this in a way that gets all of us
apart from...
probably not gonna get Malady, but that doesn't matter anyway,
because I can't hear it's only six creatures.
So Seren will shoot out, and lovely cooling, healing magic will...
An optical laser.
It will burn Rowan's eyes out, specifically Rowan.
Oh, oh.
Oh, shit.
That's nice.
So where you talking to you with this again, sorry?
So everybody but Malady.
Everybody but Malady.
Yeah.
So, did you do math?
So 7777, 777, plus 3.
Plus 3.
3.3.
3.5.
35.
And I would like to spend a fate to do the enhanced healing on Zanthias.
Oh, roll that.
Boy.
No, he just gets equivalent of my level.
So that is plus 11 to you.
So 46 to Xanthias.
However, Malady currently has her manner zone up.
She will use her reaction to enhance that healer.
spell. So you watch as she channels the life energy of her own sort of
fay magic and she increases, Jesus Christ, that's another 13 to
everybody. Wow. Oh, my God. So it would be to you guys, so 46 plus 13.
59 healing. And then to you guys it was 35 plus 13 so 48. Oh my gosh.
I know it's 59 for me because now I'm on 60. That was exactly my
Nice.
Amazing.
Exactly.
Back up.
And now that my armor of oaken thorns is up, I get my tent HP back.
Get your turn to be.
Yep.
I will stride towards Rex, 35 foot of movement.
5.10, 15, well, 5.10, 55.
Yeah, I mean, do you want to get like in melee?
I want to get in front of Xanthius if I can.
I don't know.
You can't.
No, he's right next to him.
You could get next to Xanthius.
Next to Xanthus is fine.
I'd say, yeah.
Just so I can do my time.
my warden's duty.
That's fine.
Is that the end of your turn?
Do you have a bonus action, but it's not a great deal?
I could do so, yeah, let's call it there.
Okay.
At the end of your turn, Rex and Ath just sort of nods
and is like, I was hoping to have this finished
before you healers would be a problem,
but I'll need to deal with you next.
And I'm gonna take a fated action.
Yep, yep, yep.
He is going to, like a conference.
Like a cockroach.
Bring the noise.
I need to get you out.
No, you don't.
I will be here forever.
Do I want to just...
Gruff is eternal.
Eternal gruff.
Like that statue of Ophelia.
You should have brought that to the fight.
Yeah.
Yeah, fucking bruff.
He is going to spend a point of fate.
He's going to use your In My Way.
I need you to make a strength saving throw, please.
Oh, I'm really good at those.
This is a push effect, so you will get advantage
thanks to your arm.
After gruffethe is you, I believe, Roman.
I actually know it's the Marksman.
Quick quiz.
Hang on, let me deal with this all this first.
No, no.
When it gets your turn.
Failure?
Nine.
Nine.
Nine.
I wrote nine and eight.
He picks you up.
He will three, five, ten, fifteen, twenty,
basically smash you into this rock.
You will take, not much, but you'll take six points of bludgeoning damage,
but you now also have that winded condition.
So on your next turn, you have to choose whether you use your action to get rid of
of the winded condition, or you can act normally,
but then you gain exhaustion at the end of your turn.
We'll come to it, but just know that you're
yeah, yeah, and do my react, no, no, it doesn't matter
because I'm out of range, go carry on.
Okay, that is at the end of Gruff's turn.
Then it goes to the Marksman.
He might have been in a different initiative order,
but I forgot to add him, and so I've just added him in here.
He is basically going to take, I think,
you can see Daisy flying up the air.
He's gonna take two shots at Daisy.
I think this was the correct.
Yeah, I think it was roughly right.
That is only going to be a 15 to hit.
Nope.
That is an actual 20, however.
He doesn't do a lot of damage, but it's still going to be painful.
He doesn't...
No, he's not the one with the explosive arrows.
That's Rex.
Yeah, Rex has those, yes.
These ones do shadow something.
They shadow mark.
Yeah.
Yes.
I don't think shadow mark matters too much when there's no other shadows, though.
No.
It doesn't.
It's completely pointless.
Let me just get up his marks in form.
As a reminder, this is one of Rex's Shadow Warriors.
There were four before.
There's only one left.
So that is going to be...
He's on the ropes.
He's on the ropes.
They rule a bunch of losers.
Yeah.
23 piercing plus another six force.
So that's 29 total.
Ow.
Ouch, geez.
As fires twice up at you.
Then we go to Rowan's turn.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Rowan's unleashed.
Forms of Chris.
creation. He's going to create a net above Rex with weighted ends.
Okay. And it's going to fall onto him.
Okay. A standard net.
It has to be mundane.
Okay.
It's going to be thick as I can get it.
Kind of itchy too.
I don't know. How can you make it itchy?
It's a little bit, yeah.
How do you?
Hard.
I'm very scared.
I will count this as you taking the attack action.
He has to make a dexterity saving throw.
We'll use your...
Yeah, so it's your decks and proficiency.
So what's your decks and proficiency bonus?
My dex is 10 plus my proficiency of 4, so 14.
No, it's the proficiency.
It's the dex modifier, not just the score.
Plus 4.
So plus 4, so that becomes a DC of 12.
He passes.
The net forms in the air.
He senses something rushing down below him.
He sets the side, and the net lands where he was stood.
Just went until the next turn though.
Annette's on the floor.
You wouldn't see that coming alive.
Start lacerating.
That was your action.
Is there anything else you would like to do?
Yeah.
I put my head up my own ass.
I mean, it's certainly a creative use.
I also need to check if you can object of creation in the middle of the air.
I don't think you can.
I think it has to be in.
And then occupied space, I believe it says.
Oh, okay.
In that case, I guess you can.
An unoccupied space within 10 foot of me.
Okay.
Nice. Yeah, that's going to last four hours on the floor there.
You would have had to take a five-foot step to put.
Yeah, let's just assume I...
You stood behind Ophelia like that.
Ten foot, boom.
Perfect.
Did you take the fate when I did the enhanced healing?
Yes, I believe very...
Because I thought we started on three inch.
No, it's now five of one.
Oh, I spent one.
He spent one, that was it.
That's it, I spent one.
Is it a bonus action to Oroboros yourself?
Thanks, though.
Bonus action or anything else?
I put heroism on Xanthias.
Did he technically go down?
I...
Yes.
So that would have gone away.
Okay.
Sure.
One assumes.
You tell me it's your spell.
I would assume if a creature goes down and it would.
Well, if the cast a creature goes down, yes, but I don't know if it's the target creature.
But you guys need to lit this up.
I can't cover this for you.
I also currently don't...
End of turn around?
Until the spell ends.
No, you still got it.
There you go.
So would that gives me...
10.
10.
10.
And it tops up every day.
But you've already got 20, 10 pageb.
It doesn't stack.
If that goes away.
you can get fall back.
Okay, cool.
All right.
I'm not going to do anything else.
End of turn?
Yeah.
I'm immediately going to take another fated action.
I think on this one, oh yeah, let's do that.
So he pulls out that last remaining tri-bladed, like throwing disc.
He threw one before and it kind of did like an arcing thing.
This one he just throws in a direct line to Malady,
which is basically going to cause a line like this.
So this is going to be an attack against...
Descriptive for podcast.
Yes, sorry, through Xanthias, like down the road towards Malady.
This is going to strike Xanthius and Malady as it goes past.
Does it look like it's a similar to the other blade?
Is it going to turn or is it like...
Well, this one's just going in a straight line.
It's not arcing this time.
It's going to go forever.
Maybe.
Maybe so this is a weapon attack with his tri-blade against Zanthias.
I don't think it's flat right.
29 to hit you, Xanthias?
Yeah, no, that does hit me.
Okay.
He has advantage on his next attack against you
because of his weapon mastery.
Got it.
You take, that's nine, 15 points of slashing damage.
Ouch.
And then he makes the same attack against Malady.
That's also going to hit.
That is a 28 to hit Malady as well.
That is going to be nine.
That's another 15 points of slashing damage to Malady.
Don't forget you've got plus one to AC from the Song of Stone.
Yeah.
Is Malady having to do concentration checks for Man
No, that's not concentration.
The amount of zones, you burn a spell slot every turn to...
Oh yeah, to maintain it.
The malady's got a billion.
She actually has a billion, yes.
So you watch as the tri-blade kind of spins.
Also, I need to check this.
Bap-bhap-bhap-pah-bhap-pah.
Sister Benedicta also needs to make a dexterity saving throw.
As it sort of spins, you can see that it's throwing out this violent slashing force.
Oh.
That is going to be a failure from her.
So she is also going to take a bit of...
slashing damage as it goes past.
Is that a demon hunter ability from Diablo?
No, but it's very predatory.
But you see that as the Triblade passes Malady,
it hovers in place and then it's almost kind of coming back
as if it's like a returning, but it's not doing that just yet.
Sure.
But it is spinning and looking like it's going to return along that way.
Got angry eyes.
Yeah, basically.
And yes, he now has advantage against you and Malady on his next attack.
After that, Sister Benedicta will go.
Is it Diablo?
Diablo? Diablo.
Diablo.
I was put Diablo.
For some reason, no.
Radiant Blessing does not recharge.
So she will,
her sister is getting attacked.
She will just make some melee attacks against Rex.
So she gets two attacks.
The first one is gonna miss.
The second one is going to hit for 26.
seven, two, two, two, two, two, six.
And I think she's got one last divine smite,
which she will, holy smite.
She will use that.
She's now out of those.
She can't do this again.
But this is going to be an extra 48 radiant damage on top.
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
So that's going to be eight, lovely, 12,
plus 48 radiant.
It's okay to feel carried by Sister Superior.
Listen, these guys have not carried.
If you hadn't taken down that anti-magic...
No, I know, I know.
Pretty much Aphelia, Gruff and Daisy.
They've done the most damage so far.
Anzantias.
Yeah, Xanthias did a lot of work.
I'm going to take full credit for that,
even though I wasn't here.
Yeah, absolutely.
Perfect.
You should have seen Rie.
She was, like, doing homework.
Oh, God, yeah.
We sat down and did a whole thing
going through your current sheet for it.
You watch his sister, Benedict,
kind of taking advantage of Aphelia charging up,
Gruff kind of coming in, doing this big heel,
being distracted, and gets like a really good,
solid strike in,
And you just hear her kind of just scream like,
in Pirates' name, as her sword explodes in light, basically.
He takes that blow pretty well, however.
How much did she do?
She did 32 points of damage on top of what I had.
Okay.
Apologies, lots of things happening.
That's okay.
He has now received a certain amount of damage.
You watch as kind of dark, tendrils.
of light begin to form around him,
and you get this sense of this is a figure
who is touched by the dark side of fate.
Every 50 points of damage that Rex takes,
he generates what I'm gonna call a shadow fate point,
which is a point of fate that only he can spend,
and when it's spent it's just gone forever.
Like he doesn't come back, but it's like a temporary fate point, basically.
So I'm just gonna leave that.
Shining new dice.
Okay.
Perfect.
Right, from that.
How do we have light fate?
Huh?
I want light fate.
It's then his turn.
Yep.
Fuckle up, let's go.
That's a good.
God, so many things.
I'm so sorry.
This is a very complex fight.
No, no, no, no.
I think what he's going to immediately do is
he is going to,
he is going to, can I throw this in a way?
Yes.
Each creature in a 10-foot radius, just behind Sister Benedicta.
He pulls out one of those flashbang bombs, alchemical bombs.
He chucks it behind Sister Benedicta, which will hit all of you and not him.
Gruff, you're fine.
But I need Xanthius, Ophelia, and Rowan and Benedicta to all make a Constitution saving throw.
Okay, oaky-doke.
Okay, okay-dokey.
Fail, ten.
Oh, okay.
Motherfucker.
To jail with you.
I can't put all my dice in jail.
You can. I don't have space.
It's full.
What did you get total?
Eight.
My failure, I'm afraid.
Zanthias?
23.
You succeed.
So at the last second, you know,
there is this blame that you all shut your eyes,
but it's this ringing in your ears.
Zanthias, you are unfazed by this.
But the rest of you are blinded now.
You are blinded for one minute.
You can repeat the saving throw at the end.
of your turns.
So you have to repeat the saving throw.
That is one of his multi-attacks.
He will then basically move round.
So Ophelia, you do get an attack of opportunity,
but it is now disadvantage because you're blinded.
Telepollah behind me.
Worth a chance.
Move behind.
Move behind.
Yeah, no, don't worry.
11, 12.
I think he also leaves, technically,
if he's circling around me counterclockwise,
he leaves Benedict's range as well.
He would, yeah.
She has disadvantage.
Yeah, but.
She misses, unfortunately.
Worth a try.
Worth a try, but thank you for pointing out.
Hits me and set.
I think then, yeah, he is basically going to
kind of give you a knock as he's going past.
In the kidneys.
With his great spear.
Actually, yeah, with his great spear, I think.
28 to hit.
28 does hit.
Uh-huh.
That is gonna be, you're not prone or anything,
He doesn't have advantage of his attack against the loss.
So that's gonna be...
9.15.
21 piercing damage and you are sapped
so you have disadvantage on the next attack roll you make.
Okay.
Okay, okay, okay.
And then I think he doesn't like what Malady's doing.
And he uses the rest of his movement.
So Xanthius, you can make an attack opportunity.
I will.
I'll use my new murder.
Melo-o-o-o-o-o-o.
I'll use my enhanced.
crown steel arm plus eight to hit so this my major age is only on spell attack yes so
it's not a magical attack that's an at one you go to swing but kind of advantage on that anyway
as well you so he's not blinded no he just got sapped oh that's true yeah so you did use that up
that's good um yeah uh but you go to swing with it and just you're not used to this massive
like heavy mutated arm um but you have to you're the only one who watches like benedictor's like
I can't see him like Sister Ophelia and Rowan
you're all the same thing,
but Zanthew, you're the only one.
You and Gruff who see him just basically walk up
to Malady, ready the spear, and plunge it into it.
Yeah, yeah, yep, yep.
That is gonna hit her.
She's unfortunately has a very low AC.
Oh dear.
Why is she up there?
She's trying to heal you guys.
819.
It's time for Rodry.
25 points of piercing damage.
Ooh.
Oh, ooh.
What's his movement to be?
It's got to be.
Slow.
3000.
I think it's pretty slow.
He does look a bit slower right now.
He's kind of shaking off the kind of after effects
of this adrenal stem.
And so he is like kind of staggering.
He doesn't look as quick at the moment,
at least for this turn, it looks like.
As he staggers forward, and that is going to be the end of his turn
as he's moved up for Malady.
Malady does not look good.
Got it.
Daisy.
Still man is owned.
She is still conscious.
It's not concentration effect, so she's fine.
I am going to take a shot at him, please.
Yes, full form.
Natural 20.
Yes.
Wow.
Yes.
That would be with a sneak attack as well.
It will.
Malady technically counts us an ally.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
He's dead, he's dead for sure.
Destroy him.
Okay.
Probably about to be in another shadow fade.
What's not prepared?
What's that?
66? I think it's seven.
With your weapon, yes.
With my weapon, it's 76.
So that's going to be 35 plus another.
42.
42.
Let's go.
Plus.
Yeah.
Yeah.
77.
Six for my, plus my modifier.
So 5.42?
Seven times six.
Yeah.
I think we're all on same picture.
Well, hang on.
Except when he said 77, that really threw me.
Yeah, so 42 plus 6, so 48, and then you roll the dice and then add that onto it.
It's huge.
So he's getting shadow fate.
Plus 6.
And then whatever you roll.
48 plus whatever I roll.
Mm-hmm.
Oh yeah.
It's going to get another shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Unless you do one damage.
Sorry, no.
That's not going to happen on a sneak attack crit.
We need this.
Yeah, we do.
This is the first attack.
I only get one if I use a bow.
Oh.
No, bow.
78 total.
Oh, Jesus, because of the C.
Close to 77.
Oh, you're predicting the final role.
Pre-coct it.
That's gained another shadow fake point.
No, that's not good, mate.
We need that damage.
No.
We need that damage.
You watch as this, is that radiant damage or regular damage?
radiant damage, this arrow of light streaks across,
you know, across the battlefield from up high
as it slams into his back, no longer being prevented
by the anti-magic.
And you do hear a kind of like,
kind of looks back in Daisy's direction,
you'll be next.
Anything else?
I'm gonna go and hide behind that tree.
Okay.
Please.
Are you flying?
Are you still up in the air or do you want to go down to the ground?
I'll be like 10 foot up in the tree.
Can I bonus action hide?
You can do a bonus action hide?
19 plus 13.
Minus two.
Minus two.
Yes, so still gonna be like 31.
Yeah.
Okay, so this arrow of light comes streaking out
and then Daisy flies off and disappears into the tree line, banishing.
Definitely has phased,
Not bloodied, not anything.
Seems to be that whatever that adrenal stim is
did give him some sort of temporary vigor
that maybe helped abate some of the damage from that.
But yeah, yeah, well, you should be.
I'm after Daisy's turn, you're done?
I'm done.
Cool, I'm definitely gonna spend a legendary action
and I've got so many wonderful points here.
Loads.
That's not a fair.
Gruff, you're not blinded, are you?
He sort of looks between you and Malady,
Let me give you something to worry about for now.
He looks around and he sees Rowan.
No.
And you watch his crown steel eye glows
and goes completely black and black flame
almost coils out of it.
As he looks at you, Rowan, you don't see him
because you're currently blinded,
and you just hear him mutter, black soul flame,
as he uses one of his most powerful fate abilities.
I'll spend my two points, two tent points.
and then do one.
So that's three fate total, sorry.
Three fate to do that?
Three fate to do that.
I need a dexterity saving throat
with disadvantages you are blinded.
Oh, wait.
You can't use a fate.
You can add fate.
I'll add a fate.
Yeah.
Yeah, give me another, give me four.
20.
20?
Mm.
You take half damage, but not the full effects of this.
Shit.
You are still taking half damage.
Is that D10?
Yes, D10.
See what it would have been on this.
Oh no.
What is your Dex modifier?
It's plus four.
Plus four, okay.
16 plus four, yeah, 20.
I'm proficient in my saves for Dex.
I'm worried about how much you could have taken here.
Pretty averagey kind of role.
So 32 Necrotic Damage Half is gonna be 16,
but you watch as this like,
coiling black flame.
I feel here if you could see this,
you might kind of recognize it, but you don't.
It kind of launches out and ruined.
You just blinded, oh, did you roll that with disadvantage?
You still got the 20?
And you're not exhausted, are you?
No.
Perfect.
I don't think so.
So you just barely something in you.
Maybe it's the stone, maybe it's the earth,
maybe it's Ulfei, but something tells you to move.
And as you dodged the side,
this black flame just narrowly misses you.
You feel yourself scorched by it.
but it's not burning, it's cold, it feels like death,
it feels like the grave, but it doesn't latch onto you,
which it looks like that flame was trying to do,
and it kind of fades out to nothing.
Okay.
That didn't feel good at all.
Oh, what was that ability called, sorry?
Black Soul Flame.
Kind of figure out what it does from the name,
but like, so.
It burns your soul.
Oh yeah, burns you, yeah.
And it did seem to be a crown steel mutation ability.
I'll get that one day.
It could be where it takes you over or something.
Damn, I can't believe you got that high on disadvantage.
That's so good.
That is my cheating, yes.
You got the five on the...
Five on the...
Oh, the five on the face of being out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Amazing.
Well, that we then go to Xenthias.
Oh, shit.
Sorry, I've been watching and enjoying.
Yes, I want to...
I've got my wings, so I want to...
his movements up a bit or his actions up a bit.
He can basically, he's like freely swapping weapons
at this point.
Well, not entirely freely.
He does have a limit,
but he easily swaps between his weapons
as he needs to.
I mean, I'll make it a little bit more difficult.
He has to deal with the melee weapons,
but also the bow.
I'd like to fly 30 feet up into the air.
Mm-hmm.
I still have my mage rage.
I need to tick that down.
I've got six turns left of that.
Um...
A little tracker.
And...
I will, yeah, bonus action, I want to get more runes.
I am now glowing like a candle.
Nice. Yeah dude.
One, one.
The candle's not that bright.
Candle's five foot radius bright, actually.
It's a very powerful ability.
Yeah, we've heard this, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, it's a very strong, very cool class feature bonus to have.
I want to cast, you're gonna hate me.
I wanna cast scorching ray at him.
Okay.
At fifth level.
Okay.
which means one, two, three, four, five blasts, I think.
You tell me, is that right?
Tell me, baby girl.
No, sorry.
I think it's six.
It's six blasts, of which I have advantage on all of them
because of my mage rage.
And I'm wondering how much I care about enhancing them at this point.
But I guess I'll see if I hit, right?
You can only enhance one, don't forget.
That's true, that's true, that's true.
That's true.
So yeah, six individual blasts.
Let's go!
With advantage.
Whatever the Bahamut move is.
Mm-hmm.
Quiet.
With advantage, so seven plus, that's a bad roll.
It's a plus eight, so 15 minus two.
No good, 13.
There we go again, we're squashing ready.
That is, 17 plus eight minus two, so 25, 23.
Hits.
Great, that's one.
Just keep doing that.
Just do plus six.
Yeah, that's true.
17 misses.
Miss.
18 plus 6, 24.
It's.
Natural 20.
Nice.
Separate on the third.
Well, that was the fifth blast, but third success.
One more.
One more.
One more.
Yeah.
One more is two nines.
No, one under six.
Six, nine.
That's going to be a miss.
That's going to be a miss.
Two hits, one crit.
Yes, which basically is...
50%!
Yeah, like 12 plus another 2D6, so it's 12 plus 66.
So yeah, let's...
G4D6?
I'll just do them separately, let's...
Why is Mara on fake?
Six.
Because the heat comes...
Wow, match damage on that one, 12.
If I enhance the crit, it's a dice that I'm adding to the damage,
I'd like to enhance that one.
Sure.
Another 10 plus another D10?
So it's...
No.
Is it a D10 that you add?
It's a D8, isn't it?
D10, no, it was upgraded.
It's been a long time since I've used it,
but I have to make a save.
Yes, that's fine.
Is this with the crown steel thing?
So, he's using his crownstile.
I'm like shooting these out of both.
Can I get a total damage?
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
So the first two that weren't crit,
that was 19 damage.
Plus another 24, because you rolled 12.
You rolled max twice, right?
Because you got the crit and then you rolled max.
I haven't done the crit.
This is pre-crit.
Great, okay.
Yeah.
So now I'm doing the crit, which is...
So 19 plus 24 plus...
Wait, hang on, what do you mean you did the crit?
I haven't done the crit.
No, what do you mean?
This is pre-crit, two hits, pre-crit.
So two hits, you did 19 damage.
Yeah.
Right, okay, so then we add 12.
Now I'm doing the crit.
So that goes to 21, 31, now 2D6.
So 31 plus 2D6.
But I'm enhancing this final.
Yeah, let's do the enhancement of the end.
Let's do the enhancement of the end.
I've faced out a long time ago.
Okay.
31.
9.
9.
So...
40 plus 10, 50, plus a D10.
Plus a D10, two.
52.
Now he is a gold dragonborn,
which means he's resistant to fire.
That was what it was.
That's a good point.
That's a good point.
You're probably too angry to share though.
That's a good point.
If I, what was it?
My ability to convert it, is that to the entire spell
or is that per hit?
You have to do that before you cast a spell.
That's true, I didn't do it, I'm a dumb dumb, that's fine.
Is that a metamagic?
Yes.
So a transmuted spell, metamagic, yeah.
Yeah.
Which I didn't use it, so.
You didn't use it and you didn't think about it,
but you kind of launch these fiery blasts, they do impact into him.
They're just, you know, p, plasming into this barrage of fiery missiles.
Each one kind of staggers him a little bit, but as you see that gold-flex skin,
suddenly Dantheus, of course, you remember he's going to have some resistance against fire.
but still a heavy, heavy blow, multiple, multiple blows against him.
End of turn.
End of turn.
The enhanced, the empowered one, it only empowers the ability of the spell, right, if it is fire.
It doesn't add radiant to it.
I believe you choose if it's fire, radiant or necrotic.
Okay.
It depends on what it says in your ability.
Again, you guys need to know your abilities because I can't check everything all the time.
I've got a lot of things going on right here.
I just say it does that for me.
Sure, okay, perfect, thank you.
I am then going to, at the end of his turn,
spend a fake point and do his lunge attack,
which means he can actually take a five-foot step back this way
and still attack Malady with his reach.
Does she get an attack on him if he's steps?
She does, she does not have a melee weapon currently.
She has a staff that is not really,
she literally has like a minus two to her attack roll.
But he is, if, I mean, I'll roll it, she misses.
I believe, a bit at 20.
And he hit her, but, oh, he has advantage against her
because of his tri-blade, which I...
Ah, yeah.
So...
She also had disadvantage.
She did have disadvantage.
That is going to be hits.
Not a crit, luckily, but it is a hit
with his great spear.
Four.
Where are we in the tunnel, don't he?
What?
I think we're talking...
We're basically at the bottom now.
17.
Because I think I was...
last.
Yeah, I think everybody's honest.
You watch as Sister Mallee desperately trying to maintain this like control zone to help enhance
healing magic and hoping that she's going to get a chance to do something else with it, but
she takes this nasty, vicious stab wound to the side.
You can see her holding it still desperately trying to control as, you know, Rex has locked
in to try and take her out.
She is on the sliverest of health left.
It is her turn.
How does Benedict look?
How does Benedicta look?
Benedict can't see this because she's currently blind.
She's the worst.
So she just hears her sister cry out like in pain.
It's like, Malady, Malady, are you alright?
And it's like kind of trying to spin around,
trying to sense where it is, but you can tell
that she's so disorientated from the blindness.
This isn't good.
It is Malady's turn next.
She's not down.
She kind of sees Rex there and she's going to cast a spell.
She's going to cast invisibility on us.
Nice.
And you see that she kind of almost uses those shadows,
that shadowy realm.
that she's conjuring as it sort of begins to illuminate around her
and you will see her vanish.
But Gruff and Xanthius and Daisy,
you can all see that Rex, that glowing eye.
Oh, no.
He still sees her.
I can still see you, little priest.
And that is gonna be the top of a brand new round.
Sister Ophelia.
I was gonna heal her and now I can't see her.
Yeah, literally almost feels like,
but you can see within range.
Yeah.
She's trying to defend herself.
She thought that maybe that would give her a chance to get away,
but.
She might drop it.
Yeah, I'm gonna try.
Yeah, she could do.
If he's just gonna try and sprint towards Rex again,
just try and run some sort of interference.
Yeah, sure, you are blinded,
but I say that you have enough senses to know
that you can run this way.
Is it just the end of turn to repair blinded?
Ah, is the same through at the end of turn.
Oh, got it.
Yeah.
If I use my blood, mm.
Uh, I'm gonna try, I'm gonna try,
I'm gonna try and push him again.
You will be at disadvantage.
Mm-hmm.
Fade.
I'm gonna fate it, yeah.
Okay.
I just, I need to get them off her.
Please.
Come on, dice, you, I'm fucking done with dice.
I haven't hit.
I mean, you're stacking disadvantage,
it's gonna be hard.
But even just like, if I, if I didn't have
disadvantage, it's still a shit roll.
Yeah.
Nine.
Dice don't want you to succeed.
Seven.
Fuck.
He just doesn't, he just doesn't,
He just sidesteps and lets you kind of stumble forward
with that first attack.
You do get a second attack.
Oh my god.
This is the one.
This advantage.
Double net 20, here we go.
7.14, 12.
Again.
Just you're swinging blindly, unable to,
you're trying to smell his blood,
trying to sense where he is,
but there's just no ability there.
I'm sorry, dice.
It's just the dice.
It's just the fucking dice.
Get rid of dice,
you know what, but you've put yourself there as a bit.
I'm not going to do.
I can't use any of his fate actions again until his turn.
He's used all the ones he can use.
So we go to Gruff.
Save the day.
Sister Malady to me.
What is that?
Can I mean he's gruff?
Santhias, Synthes.
Sister, Sister Malady, to me.
I can't see you, to me.
But I will walk.
I say walk.
I will trot towards.
Oh, pricked is the warrant that she decided.
I should also make it clear as well.
I'm going to leave Melody's miniature there.
That's the last place you saw her.
She may have moved away from there already.
I would say that you probably saw Rex track like movement behind the wall.
I'm trying to decide what to do.
You winded as well.
Yeah, I'm winded.
So if I move.
No, no, you can move in bonus action,
but your action you choose whether you act normally or you get rid of the winded condition.
I will move towards Sister Ophelia.
Okay.
How far?
Can I go up to her?
10.
Do you try to get rid of your point?
20?
Yeah.
No idea.
I will place a paw on sister Ophelia
and cast Lesser Restoration.
Lesser Restoration removes the blindness.
Nice.
Oh yeah, mind.
It is a bonus action.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Can't cast another spell there unless it's a cantrip.
May as well figure the exhaustion then.
Or you could step in and make two attacks.
But I think with the exhaustion, I'm just worried,
because I'm worried about sister thingy.
So you could clear the winded condition.
I'm going to take up a defensive stance in RP
and clear, get my breath back.
You're no longer winded?
Yeah, I know I can't hold my action,
but I will be trying to locate malady.
Yeah, of course you are.
You're like looking around this desperation,
but you have to take that minute, bring the shield up,
bring the axe up defensively,
because he threw you against this thing
and it knocked all the wind, you know, you're exhausted,
but you recover, you are no longer winded.
at the end of Gruff's turn, this little annoying Shadow Marksman
is going to, Rowan, you are still blinded, don't you?
He's going to have advantage on his attacks against you, I think.
Or does he try and snipe Zanthias out of the air?
Is Shadow smart?
He's pretty smart.
He's like a, he has the sort of tactics of a trained mercenary.
So he knows that he has a great advantage against you,
but he also has just seen what Zanthius did,
and he posed a great threat.
I think he's going to go for Zanthia.
Although he's seen a shield before.
Is he smart?
Yeah, that's what I just said.
He has also seen I have now a big shield arm.
Yeah, that doesn't worry him as much.
I should.
Because you and Rowan basically have a similar issue.
I'm gonna go for Rowan because he's gonna take advantage of the advantage.
Sorry, it won't it anyway.
Where's my other 20-go?
If you don't have two, you actually can't roll advantage.
Is that, oh, is that how it works?
How does the rule, yeah.
Well, luckily I've got two hits.
Oh, that's okay then.
That is going to be a 20 to hit on the first one.
17.
And that's an actual 20 on the side.
Oh, God, this guy.
He's twice now he's had an hour 20.
Well, he has advantage.
You've got to remember that's doubling my chance to crit.
So the first attack, which is normal damage,
is going to be seven piercing plus 11 force, so 18.
And then the crit is going to.
to Stone's Endurance, this one.
The crit one, you're going to Stoke's Endurance.
Okay, so you've taken the first damage.
All right.
So that's gonna be 13, 17 plus 12, 29.
Oh, luckily, low damage.
33 total.
Okay.
So Stone's Endurance reduces it by...
1D12 plus three.
Four, seven.
Seven.
So that's still gonna be 26 points of damage to Rowan.
Taking advantage of you,
just not being able to see where these attacks are coming from.
One just strikes you in that vulnerable point,
working its way past your armour as a nasty, nasty blow.
It's not even a noise as a bow makes here, that was him.
Rowan is then your turn.
Rowan?
Oh, we should have done a save for the blindness anyway.
Sorry, Ken.
That's right, no, I forgot.
Well, we could do it now because then Rough might have moved up to, like, Rowan, basically.
I don't want a retcon too much.
What's the point?
Yeah, that keeps this all canon.
It's okay.
That's the universe telling us that this is correct.
It's locked in.
The pushing thing that you have, the pushing attack,
does that give them advantage against you still?
Yes.
It works with a reckless.
It still applies the reckless debuff,
but instead of the advantage,
you get extra damage and the push.
Rowan is going to cast slow.
He doesn't need to be able to see.
He just needs to choose creatures up to four
within the range of 120 feet.
Okay.
So I'm going to pick.
Rex, and it's a 40-foot cube, so can I do like a him in the corner?
I think can.
That's him in the corner.
Yeah, I should easily hit him because this is like a...
So hit the marksman and Rex?
No, no, just him.
Just Rex?
Because otherwise...
Oh, I can just choose, can't I?
Yeah.
Is there a 40-foot distance?
I believe that's 40 feet.
Yeah, I think that's 35 between them, so...
Try and slow them both, so that's a WIS save.
To beat is 15.
Wisdom at Saving Thray.
It'd be interesting to see how good he is with wisdom.
Rex.
Rex, that is a failure.
I'm gonna use one of his tormented resistances,
which is like a legendary resistance,
but what you see is as this spell takes hold,
he is mentally unable to resist it,
but before the spell takes full hold,
you see Rex hold his head and he's like,
no, father, I can do it, I can!
He takes 20 psychic damage from using his legend resistance,
but he succeeds for.
a saving threat.
Interesting.
Oh, okay.
What's happening?
That, however, did push him over the point
where he does get a shadow fan.
20 damage, it's not bad.
Like, pretty good.
Sorry, my punch is 25 points of damage.
Wow, even better.
Is his fight being audited?
Yes.
Well, you get the sense that that is like some,
it's like Manchurian candidate, like some training
in his past that is like, if you've
like if somebody tries to affect your mind,
you're going to remember these painful lessons.
It's kind of like that, basically.
It's like CIA, Black Ops training.
Yeah, it's in his mind, basically.
It's not like an immediate effect now.
As for the Shadow Crossbowman,
that's a two.
He is definitely slowed and has no ability.
So you can only make one attack now.
Yes.
And no reactions.
And lower AC.
Yes.
But as long as you keep concentrating on it.
But yeah, Rex on Fortune drops on you.
Okay.
Okay.
Do I keep the temp?
You've got this.
The temp you have.
is not from me anyway.
No, the 10th, 20 from my arm has been burned.
So at start my turn, I gained four.
I also, as a point of order,
I rolled the damage from my enhancing as well.
That was tanked by the same, temp HP from heroism.
Bam. Perfect.
So it's gone.
Your temp HP's gone.
I've got one left. Can I keep it?
You can keep it.
Yes, so you don't get any more.
You don't regain it at the start.
That one is gonna last for the rest of this campaign.
Ah, right.
Rowan, would you like to move or do anything?
Just to check.
Rowan is going to start making his way toward, he's blind, so can you go towards...
You can still hear and you can get a sense of what's going on.
Like, you know, I'm not going to basically be like,
you've got to move in a random direction or some bullshit.
So he's going to move east towards the marksman.
Okay.
Oh, okay.
How far we're ready to go?
All the way up to him.
15, 20, 25.
Yeah.
Because you get disadvantaged on it, right?
Yeah, well, he would now have disadvantage on a range of attack against you, yes.
Nice.
But he has advantage, so it cancels out.
You also get your saving throw against blind at the end of your turn.
That's true. Thank you for well-remembered, KT.
Constitution.
Is that an out one?
Carry on.
Carry on.
Perfect.
Well, after Rowan,
I punch myself in the eyes.
This is work.
You want to put it out?
I can blind myself.
It is Benedict's turn.
She's blind, she's gonna stagger in the direction
that she knew Malady to be.
Five, and then basically Malady isn't actually there.
She basically takes up a position, like,
kind of like swinging.
around blindly like, sister, get behind me,
I'll try and protect you, and is just trying to defend, basically.
But she doesn't, I don't think she's in a state
to try and attack Rex or anything like that.
What I will probably say is that if she will hold her action,
that if she can see Malady, she is gonna cast warding bond
in her, basically.
And then she makes her, same throw at the end of her turn.
Nat 20.
Nat 20.
Oh!
You see that she's just, you see her just off of,
Iris, please, Sions, grant me sight so that I may defend that I love
and defeat this enemy of you, please.
And you just see this kind of, the light sort of comes out,
the sunlight and kind of beams on her face, and she blinks,
and then you can see that her sights come back.
But she doesn't see Maliki, Maliki's still invisible.
Nice.
The dice-node story.
The Mana circle, monosphere, manor zone.
Manazone.
You can still see that.
There's the reason there.
So could we not just say it's the center of that?
circle, it's where Melody is.
No, because when she conjures it, it's where she was,
when she conjure it.
Yeah, it's like a fixed zone.
Got it would be the same for you when you create yours.
Yeah.
It is Rex Nester.
Rock and roll, Buccane-roll, Buccure.
No, rock and row is right.
Rock and roll, Rock and Roo.
Rook-n-Rer, Rick-N-Rae.
The thing is, I stumbled over was right.
Yeah, right.
Rook-Roe Riz, right?
I will say this.
Rok and Ruck-W-Rack.
You have bloodied him.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
So I'm gonna use his bonus action
for him to go berserk.
Yes, yes!
As you see, he just slams the spear into the ground,
and he begins to just scream,
and you can see that his muscles,
there's almost like these pulses
of red and black and gold light running through his body
as he is gonna go berserk.
Hell yeah.
Which is very similar to a rage,
not fully the same benefits as rage, but enough.
Okay.
And yeah, and then he is just gonna spin around.
You are no longer blind, but he does have advantage
because you're reckless.
So I think he's gonna do a series of attacks here
with his great spear.
He's going to, sorry, at the start of his turn,
this blade goes, whiz-bh-bh-bh-bh-bh-back.
So Benedict takes a hit,
but Gruff, I need a deck save from you,
gruff. Oh, he's gonna miss Benedictor actually.
Yeah, go ahead.
You just misses Benedicta with the blade.
What'd you get on the deck save?
I rolled two plus one.
So you're not in the direct path,
so you only take seven slashing damage
as it's kind of like the reverbent force around it basically.
And then it sort of just clatters to the floor
to where he was, it's on the ground next to him.
I'm having it.
Did it hit my net?
I got it.
It's in the net.
It's now in the net.
Fucking net, man.
Nothing but net.
They'll come back.
Nothing but Nat.
That's the episode title.
Nothing but Nat.
Nothing in Nat.
Wait until like episode 160 when Net returns.
Net awakens.
I remember the origins of this.
Net main villain.
Oh.
What are you thinking of?
Just laugh now.
Because you won't be in a second.
My first step here.
Next to graph.
Choshaw, Slide.
Cha-cha slide, did you just sit?
Slat.
Between Gruff and Ophelia, basically.
He's gonna switch his spear to just one hand
and pull out his battle-axe with the other,
and he's gonna take a battle-ax swing at Gruff.
That is gonna be a 28 to hit you Gruff.
Just using it one-handed.
Oh, that's okay.
That is gonna be 12 points of slashing damage,
and I need a constitution saving throw,
or you're knocked prone.
You have advantage because of the arm revocent point.
arm revoken for.
Oh yeah, the Constitution safe, you say.
Yes, please.
16.
That is not enough.
You are not prone.
Shit.
Whilst you are prone, if he has advantage on an attack
role against anybody, he does extra damage.
So with his other two attacks, he then basically
switches back to the two-handed spear,
because he can switch between two weapons,
and he's gonna make an attack against you
and an attack against you, both with advantage.
That's Gruff and Ophelia.
Yes, Gruff Nafil.
gruff that is a 26, not a crit and against Ophelia.
Not a crit either, a 25.
So just a regular, like, reckless.
Huh?
Is this what the Berserk is doing?
No, no, no, no, this is,
just because they're in a,
he knocked her prone and had reckless against,
he had, sorry, he knocked gruff prone
and he already had advantage against Ophelia.
Oh no, no, she's, sorry,
oh, it's not blinded anymore.
Because it's because of the reckless, yeah.
So that's gonna be late.
There's so many things.
Just call it like 12.
That's cool.
It's got a 12.
Yeah, we could.
Call it.
That is going to be 28 points of piercing.
Oh, sorry, I didn't wrong his extra for having advantage.
That is going to be 36 points of piercing damage to UGruff.
And then, ex-Afelia.
Oh, my God.
A lot of ones, right?
Put it this way, 46.
How many sixes do you think I just rolled?
Six, six.
Three.
Number of the boost.
What do you think the other one was?
Nine? Five.
Five.
Hell yeah.
So, 23.
Yeah, 23 plus...
I believe the stage of fraud, a 20 on a B6.
31.
41 points of piercing damage.
Now half because you're raging, so 20 points.
Oh, okay, that's good.
Because of rage.
Yeah.
But yeah, just slam, slam as he knocks Groff-prone and then just wails into the two of you guys.
And I think, so that was his bonus action.
He still has some movement left.
And I think,
you can see he's looking to the other side of that wall.
But he's not gonna, yeah, no, actually he will move, I think.
He's gonna hop over here like this.
So Gruff and Ophelia, you both get an attack of opportunity.
Does Benedict get one as well?
I think he's gonna move in a way that he avoids it, basically.
Because he's got so much movement, I can just hop him over.
Alright.
What's my...
How do I...
It's just a melee attack.
What's it?
Natural 20 on a cron.
Oh, nice, amazing.
Yay!
There it is.
While that.
I'll take it.
23.
Both of you hit.
Nice.
Do you promise with your bedroom?
Do I get primal strike as well on that?
Yeah.
Yeah. There's no anti-magic fields at all of your benefits, the necrotic damage from Veracity.
Don't you love me?
No.
I rolled poorly.
poorly on the damage.
It's a free hit, it's an extra hit.
Nine axe damage and one lightning damage.
Okay, so 10. Perfect.
Lightning damage, not resistant.
Oh, but, so it was nine regular damage.
You do see that his berserke estate does make him resistant to physical attacks.
Oh, we've got a lot of feelings.
Kind of like a barbarian, he's getting the resistance of physical attacks.
Yeah.
Do I know?
I've never seen him.
What?
What?
What?
What?
Could you imagine?
What if he was like?
22, 24.
I am.
How much is physical and how much is necrotic?
Necrotic is the five.
Okay.
So the rest, so 19 was from the Crip.
was from the Critt.
19 is from Crick.
Oh, yeah, 19 from the Critt.
So that would go down to 1918, so that would be nine
and then five from the Chrotic C's resistance.
That's 14.
Yeah.
It's a way past my face.
You see that as these strikes, he hops past,
but the two of you kind of take advantage
of his reckless behavior and kind of get a strike,
but he's just shrugging that off as he lands.
And yeah, you get the sense of he's looking
at the space right next to him,
as if waiting for somebody to be.
there. Then we go to Daisy.
Hello. You are currently hiding behind this tree up in the tree line.
I shall pop out from hiding. If I take a shot at him, I'm guessing he's beside Malady.
He seems to be. So it would still get my...
Possibly. You don't know because you can't see Malady.
I will try and take a shot at him regardless.
Okay.
Hopefully. 18 to hit.
18 would not hit him, sadly.
No.
And I will also tell you that he has reach on his spear
so he's not within five feet of melody currently.
Okay.
But unfortunately, that 18, he kind of almost senses this time,
this blast coming from nowhere and yeah, leaps to the side
at the last second as this arrow blast past him.
You still have your movement and bonus section,
but you are revealed currently.
I will instead use my movement and join Rowan beside this shadow mark.
Who's that?
It's making it so good.
I'm like basically right next to.
I punch myself in the eyes.
That's a good idea.
Yeah, just move yourself where you want to.
Are you going to go down on the ground?
Are you going to go down on the ground?
Down on the ground, okay.
So you just move up next to Rowan
next to the Shadow Marksman.
Are they there?
Yeah, they're right beside you.
At the end of your turn, Daisy,
I'm gonna spend my bonus free shadow point
to just do a simple lunge, which is Rex gets
to make a melee attack.
Yeah, take it easy.
And Benedict Cancy.
Yes, she has one use of her martyrs.
Yes!
Oh!
So you watch as she throws herself leaping over,
revealing, there is a Malady, Malady was here, sort of hiding,
literally throws herself in, like, sister, throws herself in the way.
It is just a regular hit, not a critical hit.
You take those.
You watch her, she throws herself in the way,
just barely managing to get into the strike as the spear comes through,
kind of takes her in the side as he had Benedict who absorbs the blow,
saving Malady's life, who is weakly probably would,
probably at this point, sort of the invisibility.
I think drops because she was moving towards you on her turn
but wasn't gonna, you know, probably drop the invisibility
because she doesn't necessarily know what you were planning.
But yeah, I think that at that point, yeah,
you see that that's gonna be her reaction.
He's used that fate action.
You're only going to get yourself hurt.
Just let me finish them.
That goes to Xanthias.
Okay dokey.
So, Melody Visitori.
I would say yes at this point, I think that a suitable sacrifice from her sister would make her drop the invisibility.
But Benedicta also looking pretty bad.
Pretty bad.
But you guys, some of you, I don't know how bad some of you are looking?
Um, okay, well I think I'm gonna do this anyway.
Um, I'm going to cast
Sanctuary.
Sanctuary.
It is a, what is this, a first level spell.
Yeah.
30 foot range, I want to cast this on Malady, please.
Oh wow, amazing.
It's a bonus action.
I award a creature within range until the spell ends,
which is forever.
Concentration, I think.
One minute, not concentration.
Is it not?
No.
Surprised.
Any creature who targets the watered creature
with an attack roll or damaging spell
must succeed a wisdom save,
or choose a new target, or lose the attack or spell.
It's a wisdom saving.
Yeah, wisdom save from Rex on each attack.
So potentially protecting...
Yeah, that's awesome.
That is a bonus action to do.
In terms of my full action,
is there like a push or like a charge
or something I can do to try to...
You can do a push?
It's a melee attack and then...
Mele attack, but it's basically strength afterwards.
I kind of want to...
Have you got this name?
I almost want to...
I mean...
Full fly into him with this crown-steel arm
and just push him back
or punch him or grapple him or something to...
Yeah, no, absolutely you can.
I just want to bring up the exact rules for it
because they've changed it.
I believe it's part of unarmed strike now
that you can do that.
Oh, you're right.
Yes, shove.
The target must succeed on a strength or dextery sin
throw, it chooses which.
The DC is equal to 8 plus your strength modifier
plus proficiency bonus.
So what's your strength mod?
My strength mod is plus one.
So it would be a DC 13 strength saving throw.
I basically want to...
And you have to hit him first.
I have to hit him first, yeah.
Either way, I really want to just be up in his face
and be another target for him that's not Malady or Benedict.
Yeah.
Malady is kind of in this space at the moment.
So she's there.
so you can kind of go next to him.
And then you want to try the shove?
I'll try to hit first.
Okay, so on the strike first to see if you hit.
Plus eight to hit.
That's a three, so does 11 hit?
Oh no, actually the shove is just,
I make the strength saving three.
You don't need to make the attack roll.
Good.
I mean, you're probably gonna...
Did you have a plus 13 to this?
Oh, and you need, what, 13 to pass it?
Of course I roll a Nat one.
Literally.
Yeah, I love it.
I literally works.
You only shove him five feet away,
but you push him back five feet.
Little brother comes in just,
and I think he's so surprised
that you've come in to do this.
Like, what are you doing?
You've opened yourself up to an attack.
You were safer in the air.
I'm protecting them.
Why?
Because I love them, all of them.
And that's your weakness, little brother.
We know.
End of turns, Zepheus.
Is this a way in which I can...
He finally said it, guys!
Is this a way that can shove him away
but also get in that gap between Malady and...
What's your movement speed?
I was flying, so it would have been 30 feet.
10, 50 feet.
So basically, like, when I'm above him,
I punch him back and land in the space
where he was kind of thing.
Absolutely.
Nice.
And I wish to just be here glowing
with my shielding runes as well.
That's...
I mean, yeah.
That's awesome.
A scary turn to make, but...
It's really good.
I love it.
I mean, I rolled a one.
The only way I could have failed that shot.
The nice tell the story.
I think he's just so taken aback,
but just looks at you like,
what are you doing?
He's like,
hmm, then I need to show you why that's a weakness.
And I'm going to spend three fate points.
Oh.
And he's going to do Black Soul Flame
on Sister Bennett.
Oh, with the range, yeah, shit.
And it's a deck saving throw, which she is not very good at.
Oh, it's not like a ranged attack, is it?
Yeah.
Can she use our fate?
Technically she uses fate from my pool.
That's fine too.
I would say, because they spend it on their abilities,
they don't necessarily can get to add it to attack rolls
and saving throws.
But I'm gonna say no, because this is where the dice land.
She takes the black flame.
It's not a counter spell of front.
You could try to.
So it is a spell?
It is not a spell, but I have specifically described
it as a magical ability, which is why he's not using it.
I would allow it, but it would probably be a pretty high level spell.
Yeah.
I imagine it could be like crownstile versus crownstile, right?
Listen, I love the idea of it.
The only thing I say is like you have no idea what spell level
or how it's gonna work.
Like you would just have to cast it and guess
and tell me what you're doing.
I'll fifth level this one.
Fifth level.
Fifth level counter spell, which means...
Any spell of fifth level or lower,
it's not the number I picked.
I decided that this was a sixth level.
Yeah, I mean, I imagine this today, yeah.
But what that means,
I still a save.
I still make a constitution saving throw
to against the spell, basically.
I believe is 17.
My major age might be.
Okay.
Now, interestingly, his...
Because I want you guys to be aware of this,
His tormented resistance, his legendary resistance,
only works against mental saving throw.
So intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.
He can't do it on physical.
Mental saving throw.
So, and this is a physical saving throw.
Okay.
For the countess.
So this is just a straight roll.
17 to beat.
15.
5 plus 10.
I mean, so you watch,
as he is, the eye lights up,
and the black flame coils out as he directs it to Sister Benedicta,
who is, you know, it's the anales.
She's like eclipsed by this black flame.
She's not gonna dodge out the way.
She just almost accepts it and just stands in front of Malady like,
yeah, like I'm gonna protect my sister from this.
And then just, like my arm, just kind of the crown steel arm.
The crown steel arm reached out.
And I imagine that what we see is the arm,
all the black and red begins to glow in the veins.
And it draws that black flame in.
And then just the arm is briefly engulfed in flame
and then extinguishes as the counter-spethens
Wow, what?
Ducks.
Oh, yes.
I can't shield now because that was my reaction, but.
If you don't, I'm gonna make-
Shriek in with your-
That's the thing, I want to, I want to, like,
have that power into the next, but I don't know.
I'm gonna tell you a little spoke,
I'm gonna make a specific note that you did that,
because that might be something that comes out.
Oh.
Malady will remember this, that kind of note.
So I think both of them were gonna remember this.
Yeah.
And it was the corruption that helped, well.
I'm a little worried because before the fight started,
he did say that Oroglyos was watching.
Well, okay, actually, one thing I want to correct,
do you want that to be the Crown still doing it,
or do you want Zanthius to be the one who's dying?
Because that does change it.
I don't mind retconning, like, how you do it.
Because it's Zambia's your decision.
Yeah.
But, like, I mean, I...
This is your choice, Tom.
Thematically, your choice.
Thematically in a cool way, it makes sense
that the Crown Ste alarm is what...
But is that what you want it to be?
Kind of, yeah.
Yeah, but in that case,
then yeah, that's what it was.
So you watch as like,
and I think that you probably would hear,
see, I can be so healthy.
Oh, I know.
I love you too.
And you, you,
Rex kind of stumbles back
and like holds the side of his head
where the crown steel eye is
and just sort of blinks.
Love it.
That was at the end of your turn.
Josie, Josie.
That was his.
Yeah, because his,
Fate action at the end of your turn.
Sister Malady.
Sandius, you have my thanks.
Now, let's try and finish this.
She's gonna use her mask your wounds.
Oh, oh.
Oh!
Just clapped into a nerve.
She is gonna include herself and Benedicta.
So I think that like Daisy and Rowan,
you two are unfortunately gonna be left out of this
because you're quite far away.
Fuck you.
Manis.
Make this man.
Oh, it's not bad.
Yeah?
Well, it's average.
It's in the manners room, right?
25.
So she can spend her reaction to boost it, which I think she would.
Great.
So 25 plus another.
Ooh, very good.
38 HP.
Wow.
To you guys and herself and sister Benedicta as well.
I've got that one-temp HP.
I'm telling you it's going to laugh for the rest of the campaign.
Well, it lasts an hour, Thomas.
But I'll keep it packed up.
What?
Last an hour.
Keep it in mind.
No, a minute.
Oh, wow.
A minute.
Yeah, I think she...
Ends the campaign.
Last a minute, Thomas.
It's like when you're a kid and your pet dies
and the parents...
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Okay.
Let him cook.
The parent keeps replacing it so you don't know.
I'm just topping up your heroism.
Yeah, it lasts forever.
It's a new gold twitch there.
I stopped my toe earlier, so I should have lost it, but...
I have so.
Okay.
She will then, she doesn't regenerate her fate ability,
but she does keep the manor zone up.
5, 10, 15, 20.
She only has 20 feet of movement.
She's going to back up and just try and get away.
As, yeah, she unleashes this powerful healing spell.
And then that is the top of a brand new round.
We go to Sister Ophelia Delarosa.
Come on, Ophelia.
Off the house.
I have vexed because I hit him with my reaction.
Hell yeah.
You did.
You have advantage.
Do you charge in to Poseidon?
I want to push him away from Xanthias.
I want to push him.
Okay, okay.
So you have advantage from Vex.
You're using brutal strike.
Yes.
Faint.
Yeah.
Oh, God, yeah, I should have given you
three points from that as well.
Oh, yeah.
But then I'm gonna get one back like that.
Let me push him.
One, two, three, four.
Come on.
Him, push him.
You want to touch him.
Fuck, next for 20.
Right!
Literally, I can't carry it.
Well, Reid's back, baby.
Love it.
So let's work this out.
So your base damage is your D8,
plus your D6 from Veracity.
Plus the brutal strike is what?
D10.
So we're looking at 8, 6, 14, 24.
And I get a D6 of Necrotic.
I've added that from Veracity.
So we're at 24.
Plus what's your modifier?
Plus 6.
So 30.
And Rage is plus 2.
32.
Now you roll all the dice,
you roll the D6, the D6, the D8 and the D6.
D10. Boom. Now max these out too.
Yeah, I mean honestly.
10. 10 total? How much? So we know the necrotic is six.
What's the D6? The D6 is the necrotic.
So what number did you get on the D6?
Two, sorry. So we know that the necrotic was eight.
So it's 42 total damage.
36 of which is physical, which he is resistant to. So that's that's
It's going to be 15, 18 plus the eight necrotic
for 26 total damage.
Nice.
Then he gets shoved 15 feet away from Zanthia.
It's basically in the opposite direction of where I'm facing.
Yeah, basically 15 feet this way.
And then that isn't an opportunity, is it?
No, because the force movement.
And then I can move 15 feet towards him.
You can chase after him.
I go after him again and fuck him a second down.
Yeah.
Love it.
Do you get Vex?
You hit him again.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, right.
Can you really apply?
This is a standard attack.
With advantage.
Two sixes, baby!
We're back, baby.
Seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
Yeah, fourteen.
Okay.
Fourteen is not enough.
This time he's waiting for it.
The spear kind of clashes,
parrying veracity to the side as you get this strong hit.
You can see that he's kind of paying attention to you.
You just struck this, like, nasty blow.
But his gaze just keeps going back to Xanthias.
As you get this incredible strike on him.
Well done.
Got one.
Big one.
That's my end of turn.
Okay.
I am going to.
You can't use that anymore.
Can't use that.
Okay, I'm just going to spend the one
and he's going to do, you're in my way.
Ophelia, you need to give me a strength saving throw.
We'll do.
An advantage because I'm raging.
Yeah.
Rage.
19 plus...
You're enough.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you, again, he goes to grab you and throw you behind him.
But you sort of, because I imagine Ophelia's more dexterity in it.
You sort of like flip over him like a graceful dance.
as he goes to grab you and throw you
and just, who-ch-ch-ch-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h.
And just kind of take up a strike
as he doesn't get to throw you.
Hell, yeah.
Amazing.
Gruff, you are up next.
I'll stand up.
Because I've been not prone.
You have been not prone.
You didn't see any of this.
I'd like to use...
I saw it from where I was dribbling on the floor.
I'd like to go over next to Xanthias, please.
I'll have half speed, because I had to stand up.
15.
Yeah, so I'm protecting Xanthus.
Mm-hmm.
I think, actually, what I'm going to do.
is I'm gonna cast a little tidal wave.
Just a little bit of life.
He's probably gonna survive, but he's kind of the best of what I can do.
Deg save, right?
Deg save?
Famously.
Femously.
Please.
16.
Famous.
That is gonna be a success.
That is gonna be an 18.
But he's still gonna take half damage.
Well, he's gonna take quarter damage because he's bludgeoning, so he's resistant.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
10, 14, 17.
Quarter of 17.
So 17, half, 16, 8, 4.
Well...
But you put a little bit of chlorine in it and went up his nose.
Yeah.
This, like, golf of water erupts in front of Ophelia,
but he just implants the spear in the ground,
weathers the tidal wave.
He's unfazed by it.
End of turn, gruff?
Yes, I don't think...
Oh, I should have gained another shadow fate point.
Oh, goody.
Shit.
Luckily, I have an easy way of tracking it.
Yes.
I was going to cast another spell, but I can't,
because it's double spells.
It's fine.
Did you cast a spell this turn?
Tidal Wave.
Title Wave.
Yeah.
Perfect.
End of ten.
What's the spell?
Yeah, I got no.
Okay, you've given me a perfect opportunity to use this,
so I'm going to spend all of my points,
which is one regular point and one shadow point,
so you are fully stacked on fate.
Great.
As he leaps up in the air and comes slamming down in the middle of all of you
and spins his great spear in a massive arc attacking every single one.
one of you around him.
He has advantage against you.
Ophelia and Zendis.
And is it Benedicta as well?
Yes, he's 10 foot reach,
so he strikes every reach.
So he attacks everybody.
This is with his great spear.
So I'll do the attack on Ophelia because he has advantage.
That's not 20.
Oh no.
The advantage every time.
Gruff, that is only going to be an 18.
Does not hit.
Thanks to armor of oaken thorns,
which is up, I believe.
Why do they have advantage on Ophelia?
Because I did my, I'm brutal strike.
Brutal strike.
Oh, of course.
Yeah.
Zanthius.
Nat 20.
Out the advantage.
My new dice as well.
My new dice.
That's gonna-
Shit.
My one 10 page three.
Do you want to?
He's still got turns though, hasn't he?
This is a legendary action after your turn,
so yes, he were happy to also take a hit.
Yeah, well, I'm just thinking.
No, I miss Gruff.
He might do bigger, he might do bigger attacks
is what I'm thinking.
He might do.
You have to decide now.
I will leave it.
You can leave it.
So Zan's gonna take the crit.
Yes.
Sister Benedicta is a regular hit against her.
I just, he might have a attack on.
So, oh, hang on.
Before I take the damage,
I think I need to declare the amount of runes I spend, right?
Okay, sure.
Do you want to know how...
I need to remember how my fucking class works.
Yeah, please do.
All right, I'm gonna roll Ophelia's...
Yeah, I'm just gonna roll...
Go for it.
I'm gonna do the crit damage.
I'm gonna apply it to both of you
just to try and speed things up, okay?
Okay.
So that's gonna be 24.
Sorry, it's when I take the damage, so.
Eight, five, seven.
But then against you, he has advantage,
so he does extra damage.
Hang on, I need to write this down.
37.
That's true.
What are you on?
Full.
Oh.
What's that like 600?
100.
Oh, it's actually a clean Honda.
Yeah.
So Ophelia, it is 70 points of damage.
Good night.
So it takes 35.
That's good.
Because of his extra damage against advantage.
No, no, no, no, no.
Wait, wait, wait.
That's because he had advantage,
so he deals extra damage.
Against you, it's 47, Xanthias.
47.
He gets extra 30 from having advantage.
He has 40, his weapon does 46 damage base.
Because he basically does twice the weapons
and all damage, and it's basically a great sword.
And then he has plus eight to his damage rolls.
I'm going to burn all six.
Wait, can I do that as a reaction?
Fuck.
No, is it a really?
Action! Okay, I take the damage.
Okay.
The runes.
47.
My temp, HP.
So you just took 47 points of damage.
Oh, I was still there.
She is going to take a regular attack.
So that's 8.
Don't worry, I'll shield the next one.
22.
He doesn't have advantage against her,
so she takes 22 points of damage.
Okay.
Still standing?
She is against.
She's still very hard there.
Yeah.
So that was his legendary.
He jumps in the middle and just,
this big sweeping like right this is a berserker like he just leaps up in the air
smashes down the ground all cracks up around him spins the spear around him and
just strikes everybody that was the end of gruff's turn the marksman the shadow
marksman he will try and shoot Rowan twice because he well it's straight it'll be a straight
roll exactly so first attack against Rowan is a miss 11 second attack is an 18 plus
26, 24.
Oh.
If that was a Nat 20 again, I was about to buy.
I would have lost my shit.
It is nearly max damage on some of it though.
So that's 14, 18, 19 points of damage total to Rowan.
I will, stones and durance that.
Okay.
It's your turn next after this.
11.
So that's eight points of damage.
Nice.
Okay, so you take eight and then it's your turn, Rowan.
And I think we'll do this and then we'll take a break.
Rowan's coming online now.
Okay.
Still can't see.
I was fucking around.
But, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Rowan is gonna look back,
and there's a low angle shot, close up, of net.
Okay, keep in mind you can't see.
It's like, animating performance.
Do you need to see?
No, I don't.
Okay.
You look it up.
Great, I love that.
It comes to life.
And it goes after my turn.
Okay.
Fuck yeah, that's gonna kill him.
Okay.
Um.
Who, kill who? The Shadow.
Who?
Daisy.
Probably at this point.
Right.
I'm going to Bardock inspired Daisy.
Woohoo!
Okay, yeah.
As part of my dancing thingy,
I can also move them in my Barthic Inspiration
bonus action apparently.
Oh, very nice.
Huh.
So 30 feet of movement.
It flies.
Let's use this.
Okay, so where would you like it to go to?
Directly towards Rex.
Swoop in.
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty.
Yeah, it can basically nestle itself between Xanthius, Benedicta and Ophelia.
Yeah.
You guys watch as a dancing net,
like an octopus, just flying my face.
Or jellyfish.
I just love the idea that all four of us just kind of look at each other like,
what?
What?
You're throwing's net.
Alright?
A net. So you moved that as part of your bonus action.
You use your action to do your animating performance.
So do you want to move before?
before you end your attack.
No, I'm staying very close.
So then we go on to the net's turn.
I'm hoping that I'm gonna be, yeah.
So now it's Nets turn.
Yes. I'm gonna call them a net.
That's great.
A Nets times.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Go a net.
I'm gonna put that in.
Succeed where I have failed.
So yeah, the dancing object does get to straight.
It's not blinded.
Force and pound slam.
Yeah.
Mealy weapon attack using my spell attack.
Which is a million, I think.
It's not.
It's plus.
Spell attack modifier?
Yeah.
Seven.
Get ready.
In total, the net sort of floats around.
I know it.
He just sort of grabs it and throws it.
I know you hit it to net.
The weeks on the end of the net just gently caress his face.
It's just slat.
I think he just sort of backs up like.
Unleash fury, Annette.
Are they doing it?
Can you see, Daisy?
It's not the most effective.
Okay.
And on that beautiful image, we'll take our break.
So we'll see you back in five minutes.
Can I roll the blind?
Oh yes, let's do that.
And roll that one.
Oh, my!
Still blind.
Still blind.
With that, we'll see you on after the break.
See next time.
See next time.
Bye-bye.
