Hello and welcome back to Althea the Dragon Empire. The heroes of Ash and Rest were
awoken by Crownfall, an event where a piece of the Crown breaks away and crashes down
on Althea, bringing with it not only fragments of the rare and rather illegal material
known as Crown Steel, but also terrible monsters driven mad.
by sovereign's power.
Duke Ignarius sent for the party
and entreated them for their aid
in dealing with the powerful head of these monsters,
a being called an emissary who can call forth
more monsters to attack the living.
During this briefing, Xanthia stepped away for a moment
and attempted to communicate with sovereign,
to bargain with them, but to do so
had to disable the protective ruins around his chest
and the crown still shard,
which kept it from affecting others
and causing greater harm.
Sovereign was deaf to Zantheus' pleas, and as he struggled to rebuild the warding runes,
Lord Obsidius approached him.
Trying to offer sympathy and understanding, Zanthias was forced to push him away and run off,
but not before Obsidius was exposed to the Crownsteal's corrupting aura.
Gruff and the others had all agreed to go with the Holy Knights of the Church of the Sions
to recover the Crownsteal and stop the emissary.
They met with Sir Glory and Sir Morning, as well as several other church warriors and with Drake mounts set out for the crash site.
But as they drew closer, however, they encountered a scouting pack of monsters and battle was about to commence.
And that, my friends, is where we pick up once again today.
And I believe that you had successfully managed to sort of sneak ahead and scout out there.
So you have the opportunity to ambush these creatures.
And also one thing which I'm going to add on to the information that would have been shared last time is, you know, Sir Morning probably would have made the point to you that if you don't deal with these creatures here, they are going to then go and reinforce the army and probably inflict a lot more casualties there.
So if they do escape the battlefield or if you don't deal with them here, they will have a greater effect on the battle.
is being fought elsewhere that currently Duke Ignorius and Sir Gryold are sort of leading the charge with.
As more of these things, you know, hundreds, maybe thousands of these things have like poured out from this crash site to attack Ashen Rest.
In fact, actually no Duke Ignorius has been set off to the village of Hath to protect them because a contingent of these monsters is head that way.
So it would only be Sir Gryol and the army that currently stands between the massive horde of these creatures and Ashen's rest currently.
So any of these creatures that you do not slay here right now,
they are going to reinforce that battle.
Got it.
That's okay, that's easy.
So what I would like from everybody is to begin with a fate roll.
Hell yeah.
One, two, three.
Oh, four.
You thought I was gonna say a different kind of roll,
but it wasn't it?
Oh, a six.
A six, that's a dice.
For you.
It's nice for me.
No, wrong side.
Yeah, and another dice for us.
I got a something, four.
Oh, I got something, I'm a girl.
One for you, too.
Oh, lovely, thank you.
Thank you.
I rolled a two.
Oh, another dice for me, how lovely.
A six.
Oh, that's a dice for you.
Very joyous.
Could we get a nice even three, three?
Yes, please.
Oh no, it's actually, oh, my God, what?
It's actually in your favour, that's four to two in terms of fate.
Forty two.
Forty two.
It currently...
It currently...
It's like that new four two.
Four two.
We're so in touch.
Do I give you disadvantage on a roll for a time?
Can you just keep you chaos, please?
You keep it up, that's, I'm going to start doing it down.
I can imagine during the release of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,
that would have kicked hard.
That would have been a big meme.
Anyway, can everybody please roll an initiative for me?
Oh, yes.
That one.
Give me my fucking dice back.
Thank you, thank you, I love you.
In fact, actually, that is a good point.
Because these creatures are being surprised.
is they will have disadvantage on their initiative.
Seven roguing.
Oh, why is they called me?
Oh, yes, boy.
Oh, God, let's not go there.
That's why I was so insulted.
Okay.
Daisy, what do we get for initiative?
17. 17 for Daisy, Xanthius.
Eight.
Eight for Xanthus, gruffet.
A filthy 20.
Dirty 20. Rowan.
Seven.
I said filthy.
Seven for Rowan.
Ophelia.
Do you laugh?
And 19 for Perth.
You'd love to see.
Well, we'd win for a person, you said.
Do you want a team tag?
So I will also...
Everybody, please?
Sorry, please.
I will also remind you, you do have
Sir Glorian Sir Morning with you.
They are holy knights.
They are pretty capable warriors.
They do have a little bit of spellcasting as well.
Why do you always announce them in that order?
You know why.
Oh, okay.
And then you also have six warriors of the church.
Yes.
Again, how much you care about these guys up to you guys?
They are not as sturdy as, they are sort of elite warriors.
They have families.
They do.
And I leave it to you to decide how much you care about them.
Cannon bottom.
As a reminder, I also have passed without a trace up.
Yes, that's good.
So anyone within a 30-foot radius of moire does stuff.
There's also, you get a bonus to stealth.
Advantage to the first round of combat?
Because of all...
We're ambushing.
Ambushing.
No, so surprise means that they have.
had disadvantage on their initiative roles.
But it was, re-did the unseen servant stuff
that gave us all like water and welfare
and all of this thing during the journey.
Oh, that's right, yes, yes, that's right.
That's a very good point, yes.
You do have advantage on your first sort of role
of this combat turn.
This guy remembers.
No, that's great.
I had actually forgotten about that,
so that's well remembered.
Yeah, I don't think of a brain man.
He's a brain man.
I will once again describe,
you are traveling through a,
a small copse of trees, a small woodland
sort of out in the wild lands
between civilization in Caldra.
There is a ruined tower,
sort of an old watchtower that's long overgrown
and being sort of abandoned in the corner,
and then sort of a scattering of trees and shrubs
and things like that.
There are maybe eight or so of these lesser
kind of beast-like creatures
that seem to be very quick, very nimble,
sort of running on all four limbs
but able to kind of stretch themselves up
into the form of a humanoid.
There is also this angelic,
a strange mixture of demon and angel,
almost equine-like lower body
and then this humanoid upper body,
almost a bit centaurish.
But instead of a face,
they have this kind of smooth, like, you know,
head with this strange half halo behind them.
There he is.
Just tucking behind there.
And then of course, probably the most prominent-looking threat
is this huge lumbering brute
that has got this hardened, mineral-like skin,
except its arms are almost like muscle fibers
that have swollen and stretched
and almost tubular-like musculature to its arms,
clad in armor that is laced with golden veins
and things like that.
carrying a weapon. And to begin us, it is indeed Ophelia followed by Gruff.
Yeah. Okay, I think Ophelia will kick things off with the classic flying to a rage.
Wonderful.
Rage.
Yeah, and then she's going to move for half her speed.
I think I'd like her to...
Are you just going to charge out into the battle?
I kind of want to keep the element of surprise a little bit, so I might try and stick to the tree line.
There are two...
I can't reach them, I think.
on the directly on the other side of the turret there.
Yes, yeah, exactly.
There are two just behind the tower.
We have a pack of three by the trees
next to the larger creature,
and then three more,
and then the strange central-like angel.
Okay, so I think I will move my half movement
and go round to the trees on the...
You want to go over there?
Yeah, on the west, east side of me.
25, so I'd say 25 will get you just behind...
Do you not breaking the tree line.
Not yet, no.
Nice.
Then I might use the rest of my movement
to get to that second copse of trees there.
The trees are cops.
You're currently still in the tree line.
I'm gonna say as long as you're not in front
of the trees that are currently on the mini map,
you are still in the tree line and hidden currently.
Cool.
And then I think I might cast a spell towards that big boy.
That would be your action.
I will cast toll the dead.
Toll the dead.
Okay.
What am I doing for this one?
A whiz saving throw, please.
A wisdom saving throw.
throw okay just check I've got a lot of things going on here wisdom saving throw that is
probably going to be a fail that's only a 10 that is a fail so that is bub-d-bib-bibbibbibbib
um 1d8 necrotic damage yeah unfortunately it is at full hit point so it is not well if it's a
can't trip you are high enough level so it should be two of that dice 2d8 lovely jubly yeah but it would
normally be higher if that creature is 10 necrotic damage 10 necrotic damage yeah well you do see as
this spell, this dolorous kind of bell rings out
as you conjure the power of the grave father and reach out.
This creature does sort of stumble,
but it is not quite as affected as you think it should have been.
It is resistant to necrotic damage.
Yeah, the resistance to necrotic fire, I think,
which probably were getting.
Where did she just pulled that from?
I pulled out my big radius measurement.
So that's your action, Ophelia.
And I've done my bonus action to rage,
So that is my turn.
You are raging, you've attacked,
so your rage is going to keep going,
so you're all good.
So we then go to Gruff,
and then it will be Percy.
Cool.
I will use my bonus action
classically in that you will see
thick vines and bark
break out upon his body
as he cast armor of oak and thorn.
And then I will raise my staff
and Cernal shoot out
flying in a line
across the centaur, the minions.
So it's a...
What spell are you casting?
Tidal wave.
Okay.
And how long does it go again?
The area can be up to 30 feet long and 10 foot,
wide and 10 foot tall.
Okay, so starting at the central creature.
So 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
It will land just before the Big Boy.
So it will catch them like that.
So the center and then the three beasts.
Do I want to try and take all the minions out?
No, they're minions, different.
They do look minion-like.
I will say as well, for the purposes of making it easier for identification,
the centaur-like creature is called a crown-fallen lancer.
The minions are called crown-fallen beasts,
and the large one is a crown-fallen brute.
So I'll be referring to them as that.
Let's go with the lancer then.
This is Tuddleway of what save am I making here?
DEC-16.
Dex.
It does look quite nimble.
That is going to be dexterity.
That is going to be an 18.
Yeah, they'll save.
Okay, and then for the three minions,
the first one is gonna save, the second one is gonna save,
the last one is all, they're all going to save.
These creatures are all very dexterous.
You can see that there'd be sort of leap up in the air
over the waves and everything else.
So they still take half damage.
Yes.
So seven, eight, nine, ten, fifteen, sixteen, half eight points of damage.
Eight points of damage to that group.
I'll say group A.
Yeah, and they're not knocked around, so yeah.
No, none of them.
So the wall of water crashes down.
These creatures seem to leap over it.
They have now, because you're casting a spell,
they hear the gestures, they hear the somatic components from that tree line.
The stealth is basically broken because they know that there are combatants in that area.
So the ambush has fully, truly sprung at this point.
Any movement, gruff?
Are you going to stay where you are?
I'm going to spread out.
So can I go actually towards the tree?
So where Ophelia basically was.
So 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, like here?
Yeah, just peek behind the tree.
Peek behind there, perfect.
Percy is currently up.
Percy is then up.
Yeah, I'll get Percy to follow Ophelia.
So if you could move eastwards towards the tree line, 30 feet.
30 feet.
So 5, 10, 50, 20, 25, 30.
Yeah.
he's currently in amongst all of these holy knights.
Oh, do excuse me, please?
And they're so focused on the battle,
still not realizing that there is an undead skeleton
amongst their number.
Yeah, that'd be his turn because he can't reach anybody.
Well, he could dash.
He could use his action instead of attacking.
He could dash.
Or you could take the dodge action with him
if you want him to be a bit more defensive.
That's a good point.
Yeah, let's get him to dodge then.
Okay, so he just kind of takes like a defensive stance
protecting himself.
Okay, that's going to be Percy's good.
It is then the crown-fallen beasts.
and they are going to rush up.
5, 10, 10, 20, 25, 35, 35.
Yeah, these two gruff, you are suddenly pounced upon
by two of these creatures as they come screaming
into the tree line.
I think he makes sense because he wouldn't have seen them
behind the tower.
Yeah, 35, 40.
Rush up towards the tree line.
Come screaming and then Ophelia, these three.
are gonna basically surround you.
Nice.
Okay.
Oh no, Ophelia's surrounded.
As they come screaming.
That is, they move exceptionally quick,
so they do get their action still as well.
And as these are means, they are going to make
a group attack, a frenzied strike.
So Gruff, this is against you with two of them.
That is a 24 to hit.
Oh, yeah.
That is going to be because there's two of them.
Six points of slashing damage, four points of fire damage,
fire damage and four points of radiant damage.
As they start tearing into you, their bodies, their claws,
exude this divine burning light as they tear into you.
I also need a constitution saving throw from you.
And as a point, do you have any sort of advantage
on things like poisons or diseases?
Poison and disease.
Okay, you have advantage on this.
Thanks to the ampule, I believe.
19 plus four.
Okay, so as these things sort of rake at you with their claws
and their teeth biting into you,
you can feel something trying to get,
not necessarily into your blood,
this isn't like a mundane poison or a disease,
this is something trying to get into your soul,
into your very essence,
and you feel this warmth and this heat beginning to build,
but that ampule just gives you,
there's something in it, this kind of holy protection
that sort of helps you rebuff it,
and it does not take a,
does not quite take root.
Aphelia, I'm now going to make a group attack against you.
That is going to be 18, 19, 20 to hit.
Yeah, just it.
Okay, this is, because there's three of them,
they're all contributing to attack.
This is going to be pretty bad.
It's nine points of slashing damage,
which you would half to four,
because you're currently raging,
but then it would be six fire damage
and six radiant damage, which you don't half.
And I need a con save from you as well,
unless you have any immunity or resistance to diseases.
Nope.
Is Ophelia resistant to necrotic damage?
I don't know.
No, I'm not.
There was also no necrotic damage, Del.
Oh, sorry.
It was fire and radiant.
15, 12.
Just barely.
You managed to resist whatever this kind of affliction
that these creatures are trying to put upon you.
You feel, yeah, your soul, the very heart of your body
begin to almost heat up and burn,
but you managed to through your rage, fight it off.
But they do strike pretty hard as this frenzied strike.
launches into you.
And then the other group of three
that were not quite in melee range,
they kind of chained together and launch
a fiery salvo group attack at the nearest warrior,
which is the lady in black, sort of dark,
midnight armor out in front.
Yes.
That is gonna be 25, which will hit her,
and she takes 6.12, 18 points of fire damage.
So six per boy.
Yes, when they do their fiery salvo.
Okay.
And you see like she wheels back like,
ah, kind of brings her shield up.
She's burnt, but she's okay for Nile.
And that is gonna be the beast's turn.
We then go to, I'm gonna give priority to PC.
Daisy, you are up next.
Hello, can I take out Parheelion?
Yes.
Parheelian, it says that I can choose
to deal radiant damage, but it could also do piercing damage.
Yes.
Can I make the choice to use piercing damage?
Absolutely.
They are using radiant damage.
And it is a magical weapon as well.
So this is magical piercing damage.
So I want to try and mitigate any resistance they might have.
Perfect.
Maybe.
So are you moving or are you going to shoot at the group of minions?
I'm going to shoot at the group with, beside Gruff, please.
Beside Gruff, okay, the two attacking Gruff.
You turn round, you draw as the, as you pull back on the sort of energy string, this arrow forms.
25 to hit.
Hit.
Roll damage, please.
Get them dead.
They're not dead.
Get them dead.
Get them dead.
27 points of piercing damage.
Instantly, this one on the side,
Fump is taken out as the arrow just passes through it.
The piercing thuds through it,
and it looks like there's a little bit of gift,
but the magical nature of the arrow passes through.
These creatures are actually resistant to non-magical normal damage.
But the magical hour of Parheelian rips through it.
Okay.
Okay, and can I move behind the,
behind those trees, yeah, towards Xanthias-ish.
And I want to take the hide as a bonus action.
Absolutely, yeah, give me a stealth throw.
Well, make Stealthrow and keep a note of it.
Would pass without a trace still be in effect?
Because I cast a non-concentration spell.
Could you give me a concentration,
constitution, same throw to see if you,
and your total damage would have been.
11, 12, 13, 14, 15.
What was your total damage?
It would have been 6, 14.
Yeah, it would have been 14, so, yes, you succeed.
Okay, so you technically have passed without a trace on you as well?
Yeah, very hard.
Do you want the number?
No, actually, I don't. I do.
35.
35.
That's pretty good.
All right, Daisy, that's your turn.
Yes, please.
All right, the holy warriors.
These are the mundane warriors.
You hear, they draw weapons, they cry,
for pirates, for Malia, for the Scion's ground.
They just charge in.
They come charging to help you, Ophelia.
They're gonna kind of charge and surge in here,
kind of come around the side, and then on the side,
they're gonna charge into this group of minions.
Salvin your mignon.
serving your mignon.
Okay.
Saving your mignon.
And they are going to launch their attacks at these beasts.
They're going to use their strike.
I've got six of them.
So group of minions around Ophelia.
The first one is going to miss.
The second one is going to miss.
Third one is going to miss.
I just rolled, I didn't roll a single time above 10.
That's high limit.
It's on-rack.
Luckily they get two attacks, so I'm gonna try again.
Nope.
Oh.
Oh, yes, the second one on his second attack hits.
Great.
The third one misses.
Oh my God.
He will do, the one that hit,
does do a big 10 points of damage.
And he yells his name as he attacks.
He yells his name.
This is the guard with the sword.
Let's say it's the guy with the cool sword.
Okay.
This is, cool as swordless.
No, his name is John.
Oh.
You get it, John.
John one one seven.
John, John, not John, John.
John.
Jonathan.
That's why I'm specifying it's John.
Jonathan.
Spurton, Jarn.
Now that was one of the ones that Gruff had injured
with the Tidewave.
However, these guys are striking with mundane weapons
and it only does half damage to them.
Still, it takes a heavy swing.
However, every single one of these Holy Warriors
that just made those attacks.
As they go to strike this creature in melee,
you can see that their bodies are giving off
that fiery radiant light.
They all take damage.
So it's not when they do damage.
I'm just going to do this to all of the warriors.
This is anybody who makes a melee attack against them,
and they all made melee attacks.
So I'm going to just do this one roll for everybody.
They all take four points of fire
and three points of radiant,
so that's eight points of damage to all of the warriors.
In that first group.
Charne.
No.
No.
Not really seeing this,
the other group of three that are on their own,
they're going to basically do the same thing.
First one hits.
Yes.
He hits with his second attack.
The next one barely misses on his first attack,
misses with his second attack.
The last one, she hits with her first attack
and misses with her final attack.
What's the guy that hit twice, isn't it?
Well, actually, no.
You know what, it's this dwarf lady in gold.
What did she do?
What does she do?
What was her name?
Her name is Agna.
Okay. Agna.
Agna.
I'm gonna have to write that down, hang on.
Agna. Agna and Jarn.
Her first attack is only,
it's gonna be two points of damage with the resistance.
Her next attack is going to be five points of damage
with the resistance.
So that is seven points of damage total from that one.
And then the one person on their own
just does a little four points of damage too.
Good job. Good job.
So they're kind of like chipping away at these minions
but aren't able to like really do too much damage
because their weapons are just being resisted
by these unnatural things.
After the warriors, we then go to
the crownfallen lancer.
We are.
You guys are, for a surprise round, like yeah, like.
Surprise.
I rolled pretty well in their initiative
despite the disadvantage.
And everyone was like,
There. There, there they are.
There they are.
The Crown Fallen Lancer is going to use their,
I'm gonna spend one point of fate right off the bat
to use Radiant Pylon.
They throw into the air three,
these jagged, black and gold javelin-like things,
the arc in the air, and they come slamming into the ground.
One, oh, two, oh, three.
Oh, do, do, do.
They slam into the ground, and they slam into the ground,
and they begin pulsing with radiant, golden, fiery energy,
worm, realm, rium, rium,
as they begin to pulse.
They are then going to, that is their action,
they are then going to move behind this tree line
and get a bit of cover with it,
taking a bit of cover from the tree line.
From us and the camera.
Well, listen, the camera can suck it, okay?
I'm describing it.
Yeah.
And that is gonna be the Lancers' turn.
Um, he's a little base.
You can see him,
so who from the low initiative team is, uh,
it is Zen and then it will be Rowan, then it's the Holy Knights.
Tis me, tis it?
Yes, tis.
Um, so I want to take out many, many boys in many little turn.
Um, so I've got my radii disc out.
Okay.
And I want to use my fireball.
Uh, can I hit Minion,
and boys at the back.
You place that and you tell me what you can hit.
Yeah.
I think the minions are.
Well, there are a couple of MPC warriors in the way.
That's the thing.
Do your spell, your shiny fancies?
Yeah, I'd like to, but I'm afraid in this instance I can't.
I know.
I'm going to launch a...
Psychic attack.
He charges!
I make that noise.
Do we win the fight now?
No.
No, I'll instead, I had a thing about fire,
demage, but I will instead do a chromatic orb at the people
ponds the back line.
Can I see the centaur-like?
You can see the Lancer.
I mean, from your current position, you can see it.
They are going to have cover.
I think it's more than that, isn't it?
If it's 120 feet, you're definitely in range.
Oh, it is 90.
5.10, you'll be within 90, because I think it's, yeah.
If I can see one of them,
that's fine.
50, 50, 60, 60, 65, 70, 70, 70, 70,
80, 80, 80, 90, 90.
No, actually, if it's 90 foot range,
you would have to move first.
You are approximately 5, 10, 15,
a foot away from the Lancer.
Okay, can I just do a little vault
through that, the twin pines mall there?
Yeah, but I want to.
On to the other side of it?
Yeah, that works, and I think that gets me five feet closer.
That'll be five foot closer so you can hit the big guy.
And I will launch, yes, a chromatic org at,
at, let's say, third level.
When does the, oh, he's last.
Yeah, third level chromatic orb,
and I will pick the damage type of not fire,
not radiant, not necrotic,
let's go with lightning.
Okay.
Roll to hit.
Yeah, with a...
Where are my dice?
KT.
Give me my GD.
Oh, they're in your sleeve.
That's cool.
There's another one in there.
Yeah, I knew.
All right.
You do have advanced.
I do have advance.
Well, that's a 14 plus, but let's see if I get the, no.
14 plus 8.
A billion.
24, and yes.
Oh, yeah.
24.
And I do 5D8.
And if you get 2.8.
And if you get 2.8.
That's right.
No, Jane.
So far, so fucking awful, one, two, and three.
Oh, so six.
Oh, and then these two are gonna be eight.
No, four and two.
Oh my God.
One three, four, two.
So I roll, I got 12.
12.
I mean, don't we even wanna, no,
I'm not even gonna use my ability to reduce that, no.
Oh, wow.
12, 12, 12, 12 lightning.
I'm not even gonna reduce that damage.
It's not worth it.
It's not even worth it.
Wow.
points this guy's got?
I'm like, no, I'll save it.
I'll save it for a real hit.
I'll save it for a real hit.
I'll save it for when Ophelia critz.
Yeah, it's a really cool
chromatic call for the start.
Ophi's a little crit for a while.
It's like you're doing a Naruto Reseng gang
and it's just like, bha.
Oh no, it flies and it's like
by the time it hits them, it's just
like a fly hitting one of the traps.
This huge brute who's covered in armor
and muscles just made of like
rippling flesh, this light.
really, it does impact, but doesn't seem to have a huge effect on it.
Dude, anything else, Xanthius on your turn?
You can't get struck by lightning.
I think you, just grounded all the time.
I thought you're gonna say, dude, imagine being Xanthius right now.
Anything else, Zanthius on your turn?
Fuck, I mean, I've moved, I can't, I haven't really got any bonies.
Oh no, I will, I'll create some, uh, some, some,
some, some, some ruins.
Some roans, sochery points, etc.
Rowan, we come to you, then it will be the holy knights.
Benevolent.
Oh, here.
Wonderful dungeon master.
Yeah, that's good.
I'm going to do a regular thing.
Okay.
And you're going to accept it.
Okay.
Because it's well within the realms of possibility.
Tell me.
Tell me about this thing.
I have performance of creation.
You do?
And you've allowed me before to create a sprue.
So that it's all one object and it splits into multiple objects.
Now, you weren't doing that in a battle scenario.
Just wait and see.
Okay.
I'm listening.
I'm open to the idea currently.
Just be open right now.
I'm open.
So, Roan's going to.
run forward up to the Holy Knights in front of this tree.
So, five, ten, ten,
joining them at the rear.
Yep.
25.
Now, in an unoccupied space, ten feet in front of me.
There is not currently an unoccupied space unless you put it next to the tree.
Can I keep moving until there is an occupied space?
Yeah, where'd you want it to appear like back here?
Yeah.
Yeah, okay.
So you would have to go here basically, which you do have just enough.
Excellent.
Now, I can do this totally.
So a 10 foot, no, wait.
It's got a readizability.
The maximum size is medium.
Okay.
Five foot square.
So just a boy.
Five foot square.
You remember the earth elementals
that sprouts out the ground
when we are underground.
I would like a cylinder of them
all touching hands
as like a cylindrical wall,
like a pylon that slams into the ground.
Okay.
That slamming into the ground will break apart
their little hands from each other.
This is Trot using his 3D printing knowledge.
Collapsing a bunch of tiny men,
Earth Elementals,
spilled out onto the thing.
They're not like...
They're not doing anything.
They'll literally just be little statues.
They're little statues.
But that's what you're going on to the floor.
How many...
How many can I cram into a five-foot cube?
Well, that's it.
They would be pretty small.
I would say you could have four of these things,
and there'll be small creatures.
That's what I would say.
Four small earth elementals.
You know, you've got to think about the size of like a little halfling,
you know, kind of stacked on top of each other
and then tightly compacted.
I'm going to say four.
A five-foot cube?
They're not touching.
It's a Kim cube.
A five, yeah.
Think about Kim in a cube.
And you've got to get like a creature.
size thing.
They're like three feet.
Three feet.
All right, find a three-foot object
getting bent over.
That's crow as a cube.
Okay.
That's what I'm going to say.
I'll accept four.
You accept four.
Four will slam down.
The impact will split them apart.
Yeah, I have a feeling I know what you're doing.
And they will just be on the floor.
Okay.
I'm going to use these tiny invisible creatures.
Yes.
Where would you like it?
10 feet.
Where?
In front of you?
Yeah, 10 foot in front of me.
And they'll just be there.
I'll put them in like a little.
And they'll probably like spill out from the impact.
Yeah, I'll put them in a five-foot cube.
Brilliant.
Like that.
Okay.
There it is.
There it is.
All right.
Now.
That was your action, your movement.
Bonus action.
Who's really quick out of us?
Phelia Daisy, basically.
Is Daisy within range?
I answer 10 minutes from now.
Over at the tree.
Yeah.
I'll give you Bardock inspiration.
Yay!
Yes.
A D-8.
Yeah.
So you get that.
Perfect.
So you've got Bardick.
Keep a note of that.
All righty.
I'm maxed out.
You're maxed out.
MPCs go.
you will see, I imagine, in fact,
I am going to use as a bonus action,
so Morning is going to analyze these pylons
to see if he can figure out what these things do.
A bonus action.
He will say, I do not understand these things.
I think that they will do something.
But is unable to just does not.
Thank you for that.
Cool. Great.
Sir.
We'll say.
They're doing something.
Shut up.
He will say,
I think that we can strike them,
but I do not know the consequences of doing so.
They may be able to be destroyed.
That may trigger whatever is coming with them.
So glory as their bonus action will cast Bless.
I agree.
I am going to do something.
I cannot wait for Tom to say something fucking dumb.
Then I'm going to be on him.
You've already rinsed him for his shit.
It's a trash.
Garbage lightning bolt.
Everyone laughed.
Everyone laughed at the dumb thing you said.
Bless on the three nights by Ophelia.
So they're now going to get the bless spell.
And then they're going to basically try and attack themselves.
Stupid.
So, Gloria, we'll move around to Jop's fight here.
The morning will actually move here
and do a ranged attack.
These pylons aren't.
emanating all the time, are they?
Oh, yeah, they're like,
they're building power.
You can see them like glowing
and radiating energy and power yet,
and they're definitely charging or charged.
Is that five foot around them right now?
The pylons themselves,
like they are just in the ground
and they are just glowing with malignant power.
They're probably full of earth elementals.
We're holding hands.
So, glory's first attack will miss.
Second attack will miss.
These NPCs, dude.
I can't roll above its end, dude.
I can't roll above its end, dude.
I can't roll above a 10.
So morning with his range attack, we'll miss.
Oh my God, and then miss.
Holy shit.
Oh my God!
That was not a single one above a five that time.
Oh, amazing.
Change dice.
No, I love my net 20.
No, because finally.
They just charge you gonna off.
All right, here we go.
Dupy.
Oh, here we comes.
Brutus.
You will see he begins to just storm.
Agarox.
His name's not Agmox, is it?
No.
I just want to chint his name.
Maggie Ox.
He will move to there and then I think.
The middle of the map.
Just targeting, he hasn't really seen anybody
do too much damage except for Daisy who is hidden.
Hello?
Simon 35, never seen me.
He's not seen you.
I'm not here.
Rowan and the two holy knight,
the two warriors who are out the front
because you guys are the most forward currently.
He is just going to,
I don't want to spend all of my points
stuff. I will do one.
I will use Radiant Fury and use one of his fury points
that he has to make a radiant Fury strike against you, Rowan.
He's a range only of 14.
That does not hit.
He does not hit.
He manages to kind of deflected away the last time.
He raises the sword in this beam of blinding light goes to strike.
You manage to duck down and get out of the way in time.
And then I think he is, that's it.
That's going to be it for now.
He seems quite slow, and he wants to get to melee.
Yeah, he's kind of currently holding back.
kind of currently holding back.
Was that like, 15 feet of movement, if that?
No, he moved about 30 feet, yeah.
Oh, okay.
It's the size of face.
He's big.
He's a big.
We then go to, it's the top of a brand new round,
Ophelia, followed by Gruff.
Ocky-Doky, quick quizy-quaz.
If I do true strike, will that affect my multi-attack?
Yes, so if you cast true strike,
you will just get the one attack,
but you'll get the benefits of true strike.
Cool, okay.
So you do like extra damage,
and you can do the different damage types and stuff like that.
But you lose out on the multi-attack.
It's kind of the thing of like most of...
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, cool, cool, cool.
I will...
Now, these three creatures, these crownfallen beasts by you,
they've been weakened by the tidal wave.
Some of the Holy Warriors have managed to get some hits on them.
They are looking quite weakened.
I think the knights have got that.
I think that'll be okay.
Okay.
I'm going to...
You're going to leap over?
I'm going to go action misty step.
Passing...
Oh!
Hell yeah.
Hell yeah, where are you going to go?
You want to go for the big boy.
5, 10, 15, 20, 25.
You can literally get right in front of him.
Bam.
Good as us.
Nice.
And then I shall do two strikes against this guy.
Love it.
Lots of abilities to control here.
So let me just see what I can do.
Okay.
So first strike.
No.
Absolutely not.
11.
A lovely stack of juicy, juicy fade.
Don't forget.
True, true.
Right, second strike.
Can I do a true strike on this?
No.
Because you've already initiated the attack action.
Yeah.
So once you've initiated the attack action,
you get to make two attacks,
you can't swap the action you're doing.
Right, I'm going to fate this one.
You're going to spend a point of fate?
Yep.
Lovely.
That's better.
But I didn't really...
That's Tetla.
This episode is sponsored by...
Amazing.
Didn't even need the fate.
Explain.
So, I have piercer as a feat and savage attacker.
Lovely.
What do they do?
So for Pierser, I can re-roll one of the attacks
damage dice, and I have to use the new roll.
And then for Savage Attacker, I can roll the weapons damage twice
and then use either one.
You've kind of doubled up there.
Kind of doubled up there.
Because you can never re-roll a re-roll.
So what I would say is, do the Savage Attacker first,
roll it twice, and then you can choose one of those to re-roll.
Is how I would rule that.
Okay, so I've got a D6 from the,
from the blood point and a D-8 to roll.
So this would be on the D8, by the way.
All of this stuff, the re-rolls and stuff and the double rolling that,
that's only on the D-8, not the blood point.
And the D-6 are necrotic.
So again, that's separate to the piercer and the Savage attack.
That only applies to the D-8.
Well, max damage on the D-8, so that's fine.
10, 18, plus 7, 23 damage on that.
How much of that is necrotic, though?
Necotic is, I will say that is a 6.
Okay, so that goes down to a 3.
So what's the total damage?
If that's a three, not a six?
24.
24 points of damage.
Okay.
And a two for a rage bonus.
And an extra two for the rage, perfect.
Kind of counteracts the resistance there to the necrotic.
As you plunge Verasti in,
the magical weapon bypassing some of this creature's defenses.
The necrotic draining of Verasti
does not quite have the same punch to it as it normally does,
but the driving force of the blow itself is more than enough.
Awesome.
So that is my full turn.
That's your two attacks.
You've bonus actioned.
You could move.
I can move just go to the back of the guy.
As long as you stay within his reach,
he does have about a 15 foot, 10 to 15 foot reach.
I'll go like 10 feet back then.
So just sort of like scoot around him.
Which way would you like to go?
Go behind him, please.
Towards the lancer on this side?
No, towards a tower.
Okay, so 5, 10, like here?
Yeah.
Okay, you can move around to the side.
All right, I feel a great turn.
In fact, actually, no, I'll save it.
going to do it just yet.
What?
Gruff.
Extend Percy.
This night over here, are they within five foot of the pylon?
Uh, yes, so morning is right next to the pylon, because he tried to examine it.
You for sake.
Well, he was trying to examine it. He was trying to figure out what it does.
Science.
Percy is also currently only like 10 feet away.
So I have a thing that's within five foot, so I think I might hit the night.
It's a shame?
It could be worth it, though, to stop them blowing up our entire back line.
I don't know what.
what they do.
Blow up our entire back line.
Could be.
Might do.
Can't blow up the black line,
if black, black,
da-da-d-d-d-d-da-da-
There it is.
Now we all laughed at Tom.
Fucking everyone laughed, everyone laughed
at what you said.
Yeah, but you just, you're so much worse about it.
Yeah.
It was pretty fucking stupid.
What you said?
What you're doing, Kim?
What's Gruff doing?
I kind of want to shoot my words.
void star ring at them all but then I might make it worse do we want I need an
decision that I'm gonna attack the um the pylons no the minion on the guy because he's quite
irritating okay um um so might be a nice guy he's irritating um 18 plus eight to hit with my axe um to hit
the mignon yeah um and then that is can i see it uh yes yes
10 points of axe damage.
Is your axe magical?
So, we have this conversation about Shilalee, right?
Like, I can use it without Shillai or there's Shaleli in it?
I wasn't sure.
No.
You've just trained to use martial weapons.
Oh, okay.
So it's not magical.
Steam Tams, but Skinner is weirdly agreeable.
I don't have Shillali equipped.
So it's just a regular one.
So that would go, so 10 damage, it goes down to five.
But I do have primed.
strike, so 1D8 of lightning damage, six points.
So that was six points.
Yeah, of lightning.
And then four points of regular?
Or 10 points of regular plus the...
10 points of regular axe damage.
I see what you do.
Six points of lightning.
So 11 damage total, basically.
Okay, it is still just about standing.
I have a second attack.
Okay, go for it.
19 plus 8.
Hits.
And then that is 8 lightning damage.
And then...
So with that lightning damage is enough,
actually to finish this thing off.
As you bring the axe down,
the lightning damage kind of cleaves through
whatever resistance is it has,
and this minion is destroyed.
However, you did strike it in melee,
which means you are gonna take,
six points of fire and one point of radiant damage.
And that is your action currently.
Sorry, seven points.
Yes.
I'm gonna do it separately because I know
quite a few people have got like fire
and radiant resistances and stuff.
So you have move and bonus action left.
I will shout,
more away from the pylons.
And then can I...
Is that Xanthias sneaking behind me over here?
Yeah.
From where I look, there's a tree, so I can't see Xanthia.
There he is a little scamp.
I'm going to eat more crash deal.
I'm just...
Why don't you use that voice?
It's funny. I need you to tell me what you're doing.
It's not funny. I was making my brain melt.
That's the nicest you've ever said.
I just want to circle around the tree away from the pylon.
So, right here?
Yeah.
That's your hope, or do you want to go further?
A bit further.
Maybe towards the castle.
The tower?
Actually, where Zanthius?
He's right there.
Move.
Eventually.
Sorry.
I'm going to stand in front Zanthius.
No, I don't.
You're next to a pylon there.
Okay.
Pylon won't explain before my next door.
Leave me there.
I'm super fast.
You done?
Yeah.
Percy.
Percy will move up to the line of Holy Star.
that Ophelia was just at.
So basically take Ophelia's position.
Pretty much, yeah, and he's just gonna strike against this one.
Yes, get it.
Get it, boy, let's go, my lad.
Let's go.
18 plus seven.
It's.
Look at this boy go.
Unfortunately, non-magical.
You can kind of tell that Percy's a gamer.
He's such a gamer, but these guys are pretty weakened.
10 bloodsening damage.
10 bludging damage, so half to five.
But even though they are resistant to non-magical,
Percy brings with enormous sort of undead strength,
and one of them is destroyed.
However, Percy too.
Percy then does take five points of fire and four points of radiant damage
as these creatures, as he did a melee attack against them.
Anything else from Percy or has he done?
He is done for now, yeah.
Doesn't have multi.
No, he's got the one for new.
She's got the one for new.
The beasts.
The beasts.
Will.
I sound like Jeff Goldblum.
What's going on?
Semptuous.
What are you thinking there, brain boy?
I'm gonna move around.
They sort of take a few steps back.
So one, two of the Holy Knights
are gonna get a tax for opportunity.
Percy and these knights are also going to get a tax for opportunity.
Oh, my boy.
As they are going to come rushing towards Ophelia.
Oh.
Bring it.
It's Britney bitch.
Act 20 for Percy.
Nice.
Give me that double.
So D8 max is eight plus two, so 10 plus another D8.
Full damage.
So 18 points of damage.
Yeah!
God.
Bam!
I already counted the plus three.
But no, he catches again.
One of these was already weakened.
He does catch one.
He does unfortunately take another two fire damage
and one radiant damage,
but just brings the staff down as it turns to flee.
All three of the warriors there are going to get their attack opportunity.
This is it.
First one hits.
Second one misses.
Third one misses.
John, once again, strokes true.
John.
John.
John.
Does three.
Points of damage.
That was after the resistance.
So he sort of clips it, but it's resistant to his weapon strike.
Oh, no, the Bless wouldn't have helped them actually.
That one managed to run away, and then two more of the Warriors do get attacked opportunity
over near Rowan.
First one hits.
Second one hits.
They both hit this time.
Yeah.
First one is going to do eight, so four.
The next one does six, half to three, so seven points to that second group.
Still no kill.
Still alive, but very weakened that per third pack.
The ones that sort of moved away,
one is gonna attack Ophelia,
22 to hit.
Yep.
That is gonna be three points of slashing,
so half to one, and then two fire damage
and two radiant damage.
And I need a con saving throw.
I get a D6 on these,
because I have an ability empowering blood.
Oh.
So, two.
26.
26 is enough, you succeed.
Awesome.
And then Rowan, I think you're gonna get
two of these creatures are gonna group attack you
and then the last one's gonna go for the Holy Knight here.
So against Rowan that is gonna be a 25
and against the warrior is gonna be a 28.
Rowan, you are gonna take six points of slashing damage,
four fire damage and four radiant damage.
So 14 damage total.
Unless you have any resistances.
I don't think so, but my HP's now six and nine.
Nice.
Nice.
Is it kind?
Weed.
We nailed there.
So good.
I need a piss so there.
I was just thinking that, actually.
What about me needing a piss.
Thank you.
You get sassy when you're black at all.
Perfect.
You actually know it?
Fuck you.
Ten years.
Ten years.
Daisy.
Hello.
I would like to.
basically I'm going in a line
and I'm going to end up behind the tree at the tower
so it should be 30.
Moving through this tree is difficult train.
So moving through these trees is difficult terrain.
So that would be 10, 20,
that's 30 feet of movement to get to currently here.
Okay, I will do it anyway.
You can bonus action dash, right?
So I'm going to...
They peek at it.
We've got another PT.
I'm gonna shoot bow at Big Boy.
This guy? Yeah.
Okay. Yes.
Yeah, go for it.
I'm going to add a D8 for my bardic inspiration.
Yes, and if it's an attack, you get to do extra damage, right?
Yeah, it's like lightning, I think.
Thunder.
Sick.
Oh, whoa, whoa, oh, con save.
Thunder.
Oh, hang on.
Oh, that's actually terrible.
Cons really good.
23 to hit.
That will hit.
The con save is a failure.
Nice.
So thunder damage equal to the number roll
on the Bardock dice as well.
Oh, four of that.
Four thunder damage.
I will note that first.
Plus.
I'm going to keep this separately,
because I'm gonna need to do this in a minute.
So this arrow slams with thunderous force into the creature.
26 piercing damage.
So 30 total.
Yum.
Then I will tuck myself behind.
Well, hang on.
I'm gonna use a reaction.
As this arrow strikes, I'm gonna spend one of his fury
points to use pain absorption and reduce that damage.
Okay, it's a reaction though, so we can't do it.
Can't, can only do it once per turn?
That's fine.
Oh wait, I think his son is very soon.
So I'm gonna reduce that by 16.
Oh, wow.
Wow.
That's a really little bitch thing to do.
That's a big thing to do.
That was a good move.
What a bitch.
What a bitch.
It's okay though, because he deemed my attack worthy
to reduce.
Oh yeah, that was a nasty hit.
30 damage.
Stop and sniff at.
The worthiness of that beach.
But yeah, you see that it's kind of,
these muscular kind of fibres just like flex
and damage is not quite as impactful as you are hoping.
You may then take the rest of your turn.
Tuck myself behind that tree.
You're as, you're as you're going to be on the battlefield,
but you are tucked away.
Well, I'm purposefully skipping in and out of comedy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I mean.
But I'm not going to move you off the battlefield.
I'm going to keep you where you are,
but yeah, we know that you are currently tucked around.
You're at the tower.
She took up.
Or as in like you're gonna dash, because that was fine.
Because I still have 15 feet.
510, 15, 5.10, yeah, you can, you're.
That's what I wanna do.
You're like, but the tree as well is difficult terrain,
so you're here.
Gotcha, you're in ashen rest.
Yeah, you're like here.
I would be slightly tucked, I think, further.
Tree is difficult to rain, so it's double movement to move through.
But I have another five feet.
No, I've just moved you 10 feet.
You don't have 10 feet to move through the tree.
It's difficult terrain.
Sure.
So that's where you're on.
Is there not?
Okay.
It takes up the full space.
Like, you can't, I'm not going to move you off the battlefield.
I'm not going to move you off the battlefield.
I'm just putting that hard rule down.
There's a bigger tree there.
Yeah, there's a bigger tree there that we can't see in the cinema.
You know, and that blocks the view.
And when you walk past it, a big sign comes up that says turn back.
Yeah, invisible wall.
Yeah.
DLC.
But you are, you're still very tucked away.
Nothing's going to be coming anywhere near you.
It's one of the campuses that someone's back.
painted like a forest on, so you just walked into the canvas.
Yeah, that's it, exactly.
Just to keep things on the thing.
Okay, sure.
You couldn't be further away.
Yeah.
We could.
Off the map.
I just don't want anybody going off the map.
That's the thing, because if we do that,
then it comes very tricky to track and who's where
and everything else, so we're just gonna stay on the map.
With that, that is Daisy's turn.
We then go to the Holy Warriors.
They got heard your message gruff,
they are gonna start moving away.
Nice.
They're gonna charge in and try and support
these warriors here.
It's gonna be embarrassing if it turns out
they heal now or something, you know.
The pylons.
Yeah.
They might heal them.
I don't think they're gonna do anything good for us.
They're gonna try and move in here.
Constructing a digital pylons.
And then constructing a digital pylon.
It's a good reference.
Thanks, thanks.
That's a shame if someone set us up the bomb.
It would be a shame.
Yeah.
Just going really old with it now.
Someone sets up the bomb.
God, they just sneezing pandered.
Oh, gee, a laser.
I'm a fire.
I'm a laser.
I'm a fire, okay.
And has cheeseburger?
First one.
Oh, God, ceiling can.
Both miss.
John.
One hit from John.
Oh, John.
Other guy at two misses.
Big.
Agna in gold, one hit.
And then the two at the back, two misses,
and then two misses.
Oh my god, you do our soldiers in the world.
It's so bad.
Well, also, I should make it clear,
these things are very, very quick.
Like they have a high AC, they are dodging and snapping
and moving around at rapid pace.
So the fact that a couple of them are landing hits
for regular soldiers is pretty good.
John does eight,
half to four points of damage.
Agna does five points of damage, half to two points of damage.
Wowee.
Wow, we.
Wow, you, Zanthia.
Carrying the team.
And then unfortunately, all of them take seven more points of damage
from more than they tell.
Yeah, thanks for that.
Thank you for that.
Got Nian cat in my head.
No, don't start singing it.
That's it, yeah.
No, no, no.
And...
And...
...help.
And everyone will look back and say,
remember that bit of Althea when they just all started singing Yan' cat?
For a really long time.
That is the...
I know that reference.
That's the warrior's turn.
The Lancer, the Crownfallen Lancer.
So those pylons that slammed into the ground at the start of its turn,
they explode!
Oh!
Have the big 20 foot radius template please.
The 20?
Yes.
Uh-oh.
So the first one is gonna strike
Percy, Sir Glory, and I'm gonna say
one of the soldiers there.
This one is gonna hit Sir Morning, Sir Glory,
Rowan, Agna, and one of the soldiers.
And then this one is gonna hit Xanthius and Gruff
and Sir Morning and Rowan.
Bam, bam.
Can I have?
Oh shit, twice for Rowan.
So Rowan is gonna be two dexterity saving throws, please.
The two MPC Knights are also doing two deck saving throws.
You know, maybe they should just reinforce.
Zantheist just one.
Oh Percy, my boy, you cannot be stopped.
Here's the best of us.
Is it none of that time?
Is it actually?
Holy shit.
Jeez.
Sex them for a failure.
I know this why I don't get any because he takes them all.
Success.
Oh.
Agnes really nippy on her feet.
Most of the soldiers felled this.
Right, what do we get?
Dick saving three, why is Thomas?
I got a 15.
15 is a success.
Oh, good.
Oh, Roman, what do we get?
Got a 12 and a 20.
Okay, so one success, one failure.
So you succeed on one and one failure.
Gruff, what did you get?
I present a natural 20.
Oh, nice.
So see, what did Percy get?
That 20.
Not 20, Percy, he succeeds.
The soldiers mostly failed it.
apart from Agna, the two knights,
so glory succeeded once,
so morning failed both.
Yeah, I'm just gonna do, yeah,
I'm not gonna roll, actually yeah,
I'll roll the damage once for everybody.
Is it half for those it passed or no?
It's half for those who passed, yes.
So, it is, oh, luckily a very low roll on that one.
For those who nine.
What is that quote, an expedition 33?
Come after.
For those who come after.
For those who come.
After.
So it is nine points of radiant damage
and 14 points of, sorry,
nine points of fire damage,
14 points of radiant damage.
So for you Zanthius, you're gonna need to half it
if you succeeded and then you half that fire damage again
because you've got your resistance, right?
Yeah.
So nine fire damage, this is the full damage.
Fourteen radiant.
23 total.
I've done 23 plus.
If you don't have any resistances.
Half.
Huh?
11, right?
What?
It goes down, it runs down.
Yes, yes, yes, it's round down.
Yeah, I've taken 34 damage.
Perfect, okay.
And you failed once and succeeded once in you.
Yeah, so you took 34, so which means,
so Glory also takes 34.
Ouchy.
Whereas 46 for some morning, right?
Yes.
Oh, crikey.
How are they looking?
Pretty bad, like these explosions,
they're still standing, but they look hurt
as these pylons explode,
obliterating everything else.
And that is just at the start of the Lancer's turn.
The Lancer will then sort of dash across the line here,
turn around and it's gonna throw two energy lances.
One at Ophelia and I think one towards Gruff.
Okay.
Sensing these two melee threats.
Ophelia.
That's a miss, that's a natural one against you.
And it gets gruff, that's also a miss.
See, I can roll badly for the monsters too.
So these two energy lances, it kind of conjures
these bolts of red, crackling lightning,
whoosh, go sailing past both of you.
And can you roll a D6 for me, please, Ophelia?
I can and I will.
If it's pylon ability recharges.
Two, it does not recharge.
That is the lances turn.
We then go to Xanthius.
Fuck.
Robin, you're up after this.
Right, if I was to fireball again,
no, there's too much flack in there.
Hey, Ophelia, do you mind if I hit you with a gnarly fireball?
No.
Really?
You know Rihanna loves being collateral damage.
What are you resistant to?
Not fire.
Not fire.
Blightening, piercing and slashing, because I'm raging.
Oh, okay.
But not any element?
No.
No.
No.
Not moving.
No.
So if I was to do a fireball, basically we've got it there.
I hit the Centaur guy, the big dude.
One of the minions, Ophelia.
You would also hit, no, you also hit two of the soldiers
and another one of the minions.
Oh, it's too much, too much, too much, too much.
It's too much.
Okay.
I go home.
You could move it so that it was just the big guy in the lantern.
Yeah, you could hit the minion ophelia
and then the two big ones.
You could just hit those guys.
Yeah, that sounds funky.
Yep, you can do it here.
Sorry, Ophelia.
She's also gonna hit the tree line as well.
Tree?
Yeah, as in trees, it might set trees as well.
Great or good.
I've set trees on fireball.
It's true, you have.
All right.
In that case, they have to make a dexterity saving throw,
but the fireball that launches towards them,
a ruin appears in front of it, it breaks through that,
and the entire thing changes to green acid
as I have the feature, sorcery point,
that lets me change the damage type.
Excellent, perfect.
Well, the minions is the only one to succeed
and is still gonna take half damage.
Felia, what did you get on your dexterity, same through?
29.
Succeed?
So you're gonna take half damage on this.
Roll me that damage.
The damage in that case is Fibyl eight, D6.
I feel like we should probably feel like the damage first.
Acid.
Yeah, it's fine.
Six.
I'll just do four at a time.
Oh, okay.
A six or five and a one and two.
Eleven and twelve.
13, 14, and then,
20, 23, 26, 29 acid damage.
29 points of acid damage.
The big guy is gonna spend,
actually no, he's not had his turn yet,
he can't spend a reaction,
because he hasn't had his turn yet,
so he's also gonna take the 29.
Hellish rebuke.
Even halving it, this minion is obliterated.
Great.
and you see this burst of acid raining down over these creatures,
and they begin to scream and howl in pain.
And you can see that their movements are so erratic.
And even the angelic lancer, it has this kind of tormented,
kind of agonized movement to all of its body movements,
even before this acid hit,
but that did not go down very well for them.
They were both very unhappy about that.
Anything else on your turn?
Great, great, great.
Well, there's no more pylons.
Not yet.
Hmm, let's stay where I am for now
because there is a good line of protection
with trees and gruff in front of me.
Okay, so after Zame, we go to Rowan.
Rowan is going to look at his creations on the floor
and he's going to cast animating.
Yeah!
Animate objects.
Perfect.
On all four.
Blah-bl-bl-blah-blah.
To life.
Beep-bib-bib-bib.
They move.
like Game and Watch.
Yep.
Oh, good.
And they're all going to, they take their turns after mine.
Okay.
So what I'm going to do.
So you cast animate object, that's your action.
Any bonus action or movement from running?
Yeah, I'll move my Barthic inspiration
to Ophelia up the front line.
So you grant Ophelia a brand new Bartick.
Yep. And so now it's their go.
Now it's their turn.
The animated objects are gonna attack with slam
on the closest things that they can see.
So yeah, basically I'd say they can attack
three minions remaining there.
Because they're also small so they can kind of like reach
through each other's spaces.
Like I've just kind of grouped them up there where I can.
This is force damage?
Cool.
Perfect.
And is this four separate attacks for each one?
And they are small creatures.
So they do the damage type of a small creature.
It's forced damage, which is very good.
That's a five.
To hit?
That's a miss.
All right.
That's a 22.
That's a hit.
Great.
That's a 15.
That's a miss, unfortunately.
That's a four, no.
So one hit.
One hit, they're just as good as soldiers.
But this guy, yeah.
1D4, plus three.
Where did that go?
Five points.
But it's forced damage, they're not resistant to it.
These guys are all quite weakened as well, and indeed.
Yay!
Now, do these animated objects have their own hit points?
Yes.
Okay, all of them then take five points of fire
and six points of radiant.
Oh wow.
I brought Neil Max.
So they'll take 11 damage, basically.
Do they explode?
They're gone.
How many hit points did they have?
10? Oh no.
They have any resistance?
Oh, my God.
No.
Poison, psychic, charm, exhaustion, fright, and paralyzed.
So, yeah, it's like fire and raided.
So they kind of throw themselves at these creatures
and just evaporate on the sort of furious divine energy around them.
But one of them did manage to take one out.
That took two turns of prep.
Wow.
But it was awesome.
It was cool.
It was cool.
Rowan's crying.
I mean, they are probably the worst target for them
because the minions just do damage on being attacked.
Or is like ever the things, probably wouldn't.
All right, Rowan, that is the end of your turn
and your minions' turn.
The Holy Knights, you are quite badly hurt,
are going to spread out, I think.
Seeing that the minions seem to be being whittled down,
they are going to, Sir Glory will cast
Healing Word at second level on Sir Morning.
Cool.
So this is gonna be at second level, so 16 health back to Sir Morning.
There's a bonus action.
Sir Morning will, in fact actually, I think that what I would probably
have done is actually have someone move closer in.
He will remain back.
He's not gonna cast any extra spells this time.
He is just gonna, they're both gonna make
their radiant flare ranged attack at the big lad.
Unfortunately, range, radiant damage,
but nothing else they can really do.
So glory, two attacks.
Natural 20 on one.
Yeah, that's it.
13 on the other, which does not hit,
but it is a crit on the first one.
So this is going to be,
but brubbh, brubh, bra,
almost makes up for his past sins.
Yeah, unfortunately they are gonna be
resistant to this.
So morning, that's gonna be,
because it's a crit 20 plus, 28, 32, radiant damage,
which is halft to 16 to the big guy.
Still, yeah.
And then, so Glory's gonna also do the same thing.
That is gonna be a hit and a miss.
So just a regular radiant flare,
four radiant damage half to two.
So that is gonna be there.
Hey, that's pretty good damage.
It's pretty good damage.
So they're just bombarding, almost summoning these kind of like sacred flames
and launching them with range attacks towards this creature.
Bring it down, bring down the beast, as they call out, as they do that.
And then finally, we come to the brute.
The brute itself.
Is he the last one in the initiative?
Yes.
Yes, face me.
He's going to move here, so he has plenty of ponens.
Of ponents.
Of ponents.
One powerful slam at Ophelia.
Let's go.
Oh, it happened.
It had to happen.
It's gonna be bad.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No.
The move was described as powerful.
Powerful slam.
Described as powerful slam.
Just puffed into a blood cloud.
Now, it is regular bludgeoning damage.
Oh, you can have it.
That's good.
Oh, great.
41, half to 20.
Great, that's okay.
That's okay.
Is she already low though?
That's fine.
I'm fine.
I'm so good.
He's then powerful slam.
to the soldier the Holy Warrior next to him.
No, that one's gonna...
Missed?
13! Misses! The guy brings his shield up,
bam, gets slammed into the ground.
I thought he was gonna be splattered.
No, but then I'm gonna spend a point of fury
to perform a burning fury attack on Sir Glory behind him.
Turns around, points the sword,
and a blast of fire rockets out.
That's gonna be a 21 which is gonna hit.
And this is gonna be
eight points of bludging damage.
It kind of throws this sort of all
of fire at him kind of slams into Sir Glory's chest
and then five points of fire damage.
So we're looking at eight, five, 13.
But, Sir Glory is set on fire.
No.
And is burning currently.
She's the one with the Grey Axe and things like that.
This is the orange, the Pyris Holy Night.
Yeah, orange one.
So she's the knight of Pyris and you can see her just like,
ah, trying to put herself out as she's set on fire
by this kind of blast of flame that comes around in glory.
It is indeed burning glory.
We go to where are we at?
Well, it's time for break, actually.
I just had to check the time.
Tis indeed.
It is indeed.
So we will be back for the conclusion of this fight, I imagine,
in the second half of the episode.
Thanks very much to checking us.
We'll be back after the break.
We'll see you then.
Take care.
See you next time.
See you next time.
See you next time.
See you next time.
See you, bye.
Bye.
