Pickax.
Wait, was that the group chat?
Sent a text to the group that definitely wasn't for everyone?
You're good.
Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers.
Goldfish have short memories.
Be like goldfish.
At Starbucks, we serve cold coffee just the way you like it.
that refreshing chill of ice,
that rich, smooth taste you crave,
that handcrafted care every time.
Your summer ritual is ready at Starbucks.
Welcome back to part two, everybody.
Our heroes have sailed across the sea towards Twin Peak Isle
and have descended deep beneath the waves into the blood kelp forest.
This massive expanse of invasive underwater flora
that seems to conceal the wreck of the glory of Palladrax,
a shipwrecked, a warship wreck that is being used perhaps as the headquarters
or the lair of coral song.
Thanks too, although they have navigated a sea urchin minefield,
and Xantheus and Rowan took the brunt of the damage in such an endeavour,
they have, Gruff has managed to use the Commune with Nature spell
and has not only located a very strong lead towards the shipwreck,
but also witnessed a great creature dwelling within,
some powerful servant of choral songs,
but also that there may be another settlement nearby,
which does not seem to bear the same magic and corrupted essence that Ajanya's minions have.
And that, my friends, is where we pick back up on the session today.
As I said, thanks to Gruff Spell, there is no real risk of you getting lost
as long as you are moving towards either this settlement or the shipwreck of the glory of Paladrax.
However, you may still encounter difficulties and things along the way.
So, my question is, what would you like to do?
And where are you going?
And what is the plan?
How much of a diversion is the settlement from the path to the ship?
About an hour, I would say.
An hour.
It's an hour more off to the western side more than going straight north.
And we're about two hours into our journey so far.
About that, yeah.
Okay.
All right, I've got good news and I've got...
Bad news, which would you like first?
Oh. Bad.
Get it over with.
Yes. Yes. I'm a big fan of the shit sandwich theory.
Well, if it's shit sandwich, then I need to begin with good news, right?
And then do bad news and then do more good news at the end of it.
Do you have two bits of good news, Grove?
Okay, the first good news is that I've located the ship, I think, I believe.
That's great news.
The best news.
Really good news.
I tried to ask the spirits for guidance towards gold.
and thinking of the gold figurehead on the glory of paladrax.
Very smart.
And I think I have a very strong lead of where to go north.
Excellent. Right, here's the shit bit.
The shit filling in your sandwich.
One gruff of curses, you know it's bad.
It's pretty shit, if I'm honest.
Three times.
Okay, it's very bad.
It's not just choral song there.
choral song there. She has
a creature in her bidding.
A giant creature.
I couldn't see the full thing, but I got a
sense of it's massive, some kind of eel
like creature with horrible antenna that glow
and needle-sharp teeth.
From your vision
from your vision graph, this creature
was certainly large enough to be able to swallow one hole,
as in one of you, swallow one of you whole.
I think it's definitely big enough to swallow some,
and probably Xanthius.
So you do kind of tend to be the one.
I suppose I'm sort of the middle, the average,
between Rowan and Daisy.
If it can eat me, it probably...
Maybe you should use Rowan, though. Can it eat Rowan?
Well, I was about to say of all of the creatures
that we've encountered so far that can...
chomp, you two boyos seem to be the ones who get chomped.
That's true, actually. Why is that?
Just delicious.
Very chompable.
Very chompable.
So that is a concern.
That is a concern.
Yes. It's a big concern.
Well, we knew that chorosong was going to have guards or something.
It wasn't just going to be Coral song, was it? It must have had to be.
Yeah, but not a giant, horrible eel.
No, that is true. That is very true.
Probably very fast as well.
Oh.
Like a big version of Boros, that little dragon thing that Xanthius has.
That already freaks me out enough as it is.
Is that...
It's on land.
A full-sized version?
I didn't see it.
All right.
So there's got to be good news at the end, right?
Oh, yes.
Yeah, what's the other good news?
I got some sense of a settlement on a peaceful one.
It would be a diversion to get there, though.
Perhaps with fae creatures.
I got a sense of elemental...
magics and, well, elementalism in general, fancy word.
But it will be a diversion to go there.
It's somewhere in the West off this way.
Probably will add a couple of hours to our travel time.
Okay, well...
Maybe they can team up with us.
Against the horrible eel.
It could be good to get intelligence from them at least.
Perhaps they know more about this creature
and this chorosong and maybe they have ways
to block her influence or something like that.
So perhaps I'm a bit low because it's short on time,
but maybe if we just try and be quick smart about this,
we go to the village, we see what we can find there.
Hopefully they think we're peaceful as well.
And then we go north for this wreckage
and for chorosong and this beastie.
Could you point out the bearing?
of where you saw the gold, just so I can lock it in.
Gruffle Point.
I'd say that you still see this kind of faint shimmering golden line.
It's a line that goes off north-ish that way.
Great.
I think it would be nice to maybe meet more people who know what's going on.
But also, it's your choice, Gruff. We'll do whatever you think, Beth.
I'm in favour of gathering some intelligence, perhaps.
Do you know they're friendly or that they're just not corrupted by the things around us?
I've got a sense of peace, peacefulness.
Okay, well that's something.
And Fay, well, Faye, they have a mind of their own, really, don't they?
Yes, they do have opinions about things, that's for sure.
I forgot about that.
I do like their opinions.
Perhaps the reason why they have sustained there is because they are powerful in their own right to,
to keep Coral Song away.
They might have something of use, yes.
So that's what I suggest.
Let's do it.
It's a bad idea.
Make new friends under the sea.
In a forest of blood cow.
Yay!
None of this kelp is natural here, by the way.
It's natural in that it is plant, but it's not local to this area.
It's not normal.
You see, this floor right here, that's what should be growing here.
growing here.
It's almost an invasive species.
Invasive, yes.
Good word.
Hmm.
I wonder who planted it.
Well, I imagine Ojania.
And her service.
Yes.
It's her magic.
They mentioned that in that cult journal,
filling that font with this stuff,
so they could make a connection with choral song.
Ah.
Yes.
True.
Strange.
So they're going to be a chance that
Georgiania and Korosong watching us through these kelps.
Oh, I don't like that.
Don't look at me, quiet. Don't look at me.
Kelp!
A photo gaze.
A lot of sways, gently.
I don't think you can avoid all of it.
It just extends and stretches out for miles.
We're coming for you.
Just gently sways.
A small detour.
Get out of it.
Everything could put the voices in your heads,
the sounds of your body swishing through the water
are very muffled to your ears.
So slight detour?
Slight detour.
I don't like to head towards this settlement.
Okay.
And hopefully have friends.
So, in doing so, you will spend another hour
making your way there.
How many hours have we been down here now?
Two hours underwater, sorry, yeah,
Yeah, two hours, sorry, three hours underwater, two hours since Dasey activate telepathy.
So three hours.
You have one hour left on the Romans, yeah.
The rudders, which do help you.
They do help you with now with Gruff knowing a direction to head in
and having this sort of constant beacon guiding Gruff's way.
You do not need to make a survival check.
Instead, you will just automatically progress at a steady rate,
provide you follow that along.
However, I would like to know, like, how are you proceeding
just in case you were to encounter any hazards or difficult?
along the way, constant barrel.
Yeah?
Just constantly like, hugh!
So dizzy by the time he arrives.
It's corkscrew.
Cork screen.
Yeah.
That's gonna be an acrobatics check for arriving.
Oh no.
Yeah.
I'll probably try and do the stealthy head thing again
like we did last time.
Absolutely.
If I'm trying to, if I'm just,
thinking if I'm trying to follow the path, I guess I would be at the front.
Yeah, but you automatically, you don't need to worry about making survival checks.
You're just going to automatically succeed on those, so if you'd like to do something else.
You kind of are the one leading the way, so like you succeed on the survival checks,
but it means you don't really have time to do anything else.
You're still sort of guiding it, I would say, but you just auto-succeed on it, basically.
Sweet.
All right.
That me, then, baby.
What about Ophelia?
Can I cast Magehand and get them to just, like, float ahead, be like, part
the swish in part the kelp as we go through.
Okay, yeah.
I feel he's like, I don't want to touch this.
I don't want to touch it anymore.
The mage hand has to do for me.
But also, because it's like spectral.
Is it like a window that like Daisy could like see through
so she could get like a wind, like it's like a shield that she can see through.
The mage hand.
Yeah.
So like it will touch something bad first before it touches anyone else.
So it's kind of like a like a floating hand-shaped window.
Like a plastic bag.
drifting through the wind.
I don't see how it's a window.
It can be like the hand can move forward.
Yeah, but because it's spectral, right?
So is it like, has it have some layer of opacity?
Yes, it does have some layer of opacity.
Yeah, it is a physical thing, like presence, yes.
So you could, like, see through it.
Sort of.
Kind of.
Yeah, it's quite, it's sort of semi-opake.
Okay.
I love jelly.
But it's certainly, like, if it's going to win,
it will hit something before Daisy course.
Yeah.
100% do that.
I will consider that the help action if Daisy needs to make a check.
Cool. Because Daisy's the one sort of moving up ahead.
Fantastic. Who would like to roll a D20 for me?
Oh God, no.
Roll a D20 for me.
Oh, God. A hand has been raised, and a dice will be rolled.
Oh!
Three.
Three.
Nailed it.
Absolutely nailed it.
Absolutely nailed.
I enjoy your presents, Rhee.
Me too.
Good.
It's healthy.
Three, excellent.
It is not long after you set out making your way towards this settlement.
As you are swimming, the rudders kind of peddling away,
the squeak of the sort of bizarrely magically created wood,
barely audible, your legs kicking behind.
as you swim through.
Nothing up ahead.
Daisy, you don't spot any sign of danger.
Everything seems to be fairly normal here.
You maybe pass odd-looking rock.
You think at first that they're sort of underwater rocks and stones,
but there's too much of a geometrical shape to them.
And you begin to think that maybe these are very, very old, ancient dwell.
but from not from a civilisation it sort of strikes you as utterly bizarre that there could be
anything like this down here almost encrusted with with sea life and everything else
but you do make out the vague sense of crude early civilization mostly broken worn away but
something definitely but to be down here to have been this old
must have been created before the bright storm,
before the destruction of much of the surface world,
before Alfei restored life to the planet,
perhaps where the very first ancestors,
before they became dwarves and orcs and everything else,
nothing much left more than an odd cave now populated by fish
and everything else.
Rowan, I'm afraid, even before you go to investigate further,
you get all of you get the sense of something behind.
You glance and look around, expecting to maybe see deep children
or predatory beasts, a great sea serpent.
There is nothing.
But you begin to feel something.
The water turns.
cold, your spine shivers, but not just from the temperature, but sensing almost malice in the water
around you. And as you look back, you begin to see forming from the very surf, the very ocean itself,
the kelp forming around like hair as an enormous, angry face begins to manifest.
and begins to rush as it begins to pursue all of you.
I need everybody to make an athletics check.
Oh, my best act.
Hell yeah.
Oh, boy.
Plus three.
Just a straight-up athletics check.
This is, yeah, unless you can think of something.
So you are being pursued by this thing.
I will let you change the role if you can think of something.
But you are being, this giant face of surging seawater is chasing you,
like the scene in the mummy, right?
It's kind of chasing and pursuing you.
And you can tell that if this thing gets you,
it is going to crush you with force of pressure or something.
It will not be good if this thing catches you.
So you tell me, like, do you try and outrun this thing?
Do you try and split off from the group?
Like, what do you guys do?
My default would be like an athletics check is to outrun it.
I already did your athletic check.
You could, I don't mind, you can change it.
I absolutely don't mind.
If you'd like to keep that, you may keep that.
I've got an 18, so I'll keep that.
Are you gonna keep the 18 and keep the 23?
Okay.
Hmm.
I don't, well, yeah.
I will also do, just for the sake of these,
and Xanthius will do in athletics.
He gets a seven.
Oh, cute.
Yes, I'm going to keep my role.
It's not good, but I will, I was trying to outrun it.
Okay, what did you get? 11. 11.
Ophelia?
I was wondering if I cast armor of Agathus
and just try and slow it down, just tank it.
It may perhaps.
May perhaps.
May perhaps. It does create sort of frigid.
It freezes around you. It may do something.
Yeah, I'm going to cast armor of Agathis.
At level one, tank this.
Okay, so you gain five-temper HP.
Okay.
Give it a physical barrier to slow it down against.
Okay.
So you purposely lag behind the others then.
Yep.
So, unfortunately, you're feeling this surge of water, as it passed it,
you hear this deafening, rage-filled scream.
This is the scream of a...
of a being, of a creature just so full of malice and hatred and fury.
This is a mother's house that you have trespassed upon.
And you get the sense.
This is not choral song.
This is the essence of a jania,
her rage, her divine will manifested as it surges over you.
You'll gain the benefit of the temp HP,
which is going to help because this is going to just,
do damage to you as it passes over you.
In terms of slowing it down,
I will say that that will turn,
Gruff's 18 was actually gonna be a failure,
but it was a failure by one.
Okay.
So I will say that that Armour of Agathis
will cause it to Gruff to become a success.
Nice.
But as it passes over you,
you feel this crushing weight,
almost like a pair of jaws snapping shut
and crushing against you.
And again, this icy cold permeates through your body.
Xanthias, desperately trying to swim and pedal and everything you can.
He is next in line, and he is also crushed and consumed by this thing.
And then finally, Rowan, you desperately, just ahead of Xanthus,
you two are also engulfed by it.
But now, you know, Gruff, you see your allies fall behind you,
unable to do anything, and you're desperately trying to stay ahead of this thing.
Eventually its power seems to fade or whatever malice or rage drove it,
It breaks away as it just becomes dark, cold sea once more.
Those of you who failed are gonna take some damage.
I'm afraid to say.
Is that the 12 or the one?
No, that's the 12.
That is gonna be 23 points of bludgeoning damage.
And six points of cold.
points of cold damage, so 29 total.
29, 24.
Oh, I just healed Zanthias for that amount.
I wasn't raging either, because my rage would have probably gone.
It would have done, yes, because it's last an hour.
Zanthius is like crumpled up and you can see he's quite badly hurt by all of this.
How's Rowan looking?
You can also use reactions and things like that if you wanted to like Stone's Endurance or anything like that.
or if you'd like to save it.
I'm going to save it.
Yeah.
So, yeah, the three of you are just sort of engulfed by this angry face of Ojania
as it surges forward, kind of crushing the water in its jaws.
But it seems to dissipate, leaving behind this sense of fury,
not yet sated, but whatever power manifested this was temporary and fleeting at best.
Oh, what was that?
Is that this, you're okay?
Oh, no.
I can't, I can't.
It's all right, so I've got this.
He is currently on 16 HP out of 74.
It's right.
Oh my God.
Was it good thing you weren't holding your breath?
I've got you, boy, oh, it's okay.
I will reach out and I will cast Kill Wains at level three on him.
Sorry, Tom.
I will then...
I'm not sorry.
Tom?
That's not...
Too bad.
This is what happens when you're not here.
Mark rolled all of your checks and you failed them.
Straight.
Straight.
I'm gonna roll a D20 right now.
16.
Still would have failed, actually, with the plus one.
This is very hard.
This is a very tough area.
It is a magical area.
I'm gonna mass healing word after that.
At level three.
Oh.
Well, gruff.
After the cure wins to top up me and ophelia.
Because I'm also injured.
Sure.
Do we want?
You're...
Yeah, you're not looking great, are you?
I'm halved.
Half.
I'm just going to use my medics re-roll to re-roll that again.
Yes, please see.
8.
8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 13, 17, 17, 18, 21, 20, 21, 24, 24, 25, 26, 17, 27, 27, 27 points of healing.
Thank you, gruff.
And on top of that.
And another 11?
Yes.
All right.
Well, yeah, Xanthus is 10 off his max, so.
You see him just like, oh, God.
Oh, that was awful.
So angry.
I mean, obviously, I think it's very clear that, yeah,
this Corosone, this area is definitely rife with their magic.
The water itself can attack.
I got the sense that it probably can't do that again,
or at least not anytime soon.
It seemed to dissipate after.
after it crashed Ophelia you and me.
Oh, thank the Great Barber.
Can't do that again, then.
Felt like the very-
Well, at least not for some time.
It probably will be able to do it again, but.
Felt like the fury of Virginia herself.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, we did kill one of her champions, I suppose.
Good reason to be angry.
True.
And you have now located where
Coral Song is and we know more things and generally.
It means we're doing a good thing.
Good point
We're getting close
See I try and tell that to my wife
When she's angry with me
You know I say well it's only because I'm doing a good thing
That you're pissed off
Doesn't work
It's more how you phrase the wording
Actions are better than words
You know this gruffer
I don't need to give you wisdom
You're far wiser than me
But we have friends nearby right
Hopefully friends
I will say, as well, there are very positive things
on this list of events that can happen.
It's just somebody rolled a three.
You put your hand up so fast.
I mean, if it was rolling D-20, I'm gonna roll D-20.
Is one of the nice things, jellyfish trampoline?
It's not, but it could be.
I could like bounce.
I could put one on there.
The boing-boing-boin-boin.
About, is it a sea bunny cuddle?
Oh, like they're like the little sea-o.
Little sea slugs with the ears.
Sea slugs.
Yeah, I love those.
But that happens, you know, by the time you've out, you know,
you've raced away from this thing, you know,
you've spent a bit of time trying to chase, you know,
flee from this giant angry face through the seaweed.
You can continue on to the settlement.
It's not too far now, gruff.
And as you lead everybody, you begin to see more sort of underwater hills
and like crests where the kelp sort of rises up.
to see that the terrain gets a little bit more uneven as you've been sort of descending deeper
and deeper you're now sort of pushing up onto the sides begins to slope back up and up ahead
you see through the kelp you can see movement and you can get the sensation of you are
approaching something else uh Daisy because you were moving stealthily can you give me a stealth
check uh with advantage please because I feel they did give you the help action so that stuff carries
over. Nice. Oh, 19 plus 13.
19 plus 13. That's a lot. 32.
Wow. Not many. Daisy, you'll at first, you sort of peek through some of this kelp.
And up ahead you can see buried into the sort of side of these underwater hillsides,
a cave. And you can see that there's all different flora, there's all the blood kelp,
there's other types of underwater plant here. But you see something.
you see one of those deep children,
these crab-like soldiers,
riding a giant mantaray,
and it's kind of got like rains,
and it's made of this kind of sinew seaweed
to kind of tied into a rope, and it's riding it.
And it is battling another creature,
and it's holding in its hand a very tightly knitted mesh net,
and you can see these like colorful shapes
like fish sort of flittering around inside this bag
but the creature is actually currently fighting
a winning battle unfortunately
the Deep Child is currently winning against a wounded creature
you never seen anything like it before it is a turtle man
the turtle!
Turtle man!
It is like turtles down here.
It has like this underwater like Galapagos kind
a style turtle shell, this little bold head sticking out.
And you can see that around his shell, around their waist,
they have these gauds, almost like these kind of like pouches
with stoppers and corks, like quite a few of them scattered around their body.
And, you know, he's got, he's wielding probably would have been,
not a sort, it would be like a spear, this tortal.
Not a tortoise, it would have been a tortoise.
It's called something different.
This turtle, a capparin, as they're called.
Oh, nice.
And you can see, like, he's hunched down or they're hunched down.
They've got, like, plates of armor on their forearms and legs,
but obviously they use their giant shell as protection.
But you can see that this one has deep gouges and cracks in it
and whispers something and conjures like a green primal energy
and, like, tries to fight off this deep child on the manterey,
but the creature just parries it aside and then strikes back.
And this kappa and this turtle man is very clearly on the losing side of this battle.
You can already see he's quite wounded and seems to be quite desperate to get to this creature.
There is also, because you rolled so high, I would say that you can see that not far from here,
another creature is swiftly approaching.
And you see that coming to join his deep child ally is another one of these deep children,
deep children, soldiers, the crab-like knights.
These two, though, they look different to the ones you've fought before.
They're more ornamental.
That kind of thunder-coral armor is a lot more neatly presented and carved.
They have short capes made similar to the ones that Agamox had.
They wield different sort of looking spears and weapons.
And one is riding on the back of a giant Mantrae.
The other is riding on the back of a giant,
giant shark.
He is like riding it
and it looks like he's obviously gone to scout
out or come back and is now returning to
join his friend and this
capper and this turtle has no idea
about the danger he's currently in.
And you get the sense that that settlement that you
sensed here, Gruff,
is close to here.
It's probably either, you can see
there's maybe a network of caves. It might be
within these hills, perhaps
in a network of caves here.
But yeah, you see this happen.
and I will.
Now, it is an orca whale,
but you have to imagine it's a shark.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, badass.
Mark's been to the aquarium.
I did order some cool minis.
Look at the mandarin.
That's so funny.
I will have to use Mateo for now.
I forgot to pick up a little caper in mini,
but I will put him here.
Actually, no.
or you sojourn because he's a bit more of a warrior-y type.
Rangoran down there.
And then, yeah, you guys are all in this kind of far edge over here.
We need swim versions of our minis.
Like horizontal, yeah.
Yes, yes, yes.
I can't reach and nobody is helping me.
This is quite fun to watch.
The opposite side from me.
So, Daisy is at the front.
Yeah, Daisy is at the front.
Obviously, just because I couldn't completely cover this thing in foliage,
imagine there is a lot more blood kelps scattered around the outskirts of like the squam.
This is like a small open.
There's a little pocket around this cave opening, yeah, for sure.
But this is what you see.
Daisy, instinctively, Nim probably tells you this in your mind.
Little one, whoever this warrior is, does not have long.
know that if you do not help this turtle man soon,
they are probably going to get killed.
And also, I would say that you,
you're quite sharp-eyed as well.
That bag that the one on the Manta ray is holding,
like this net,
you think, at first you're like,
oh, it's a bunch of, like, clownfish,
but then you catch a glimpse as a creature
kind of puts itself up against the net,
and it has the bottom half of a clownfish,
but it has like a little pixie sprite,
mermaid top half but it's tiny
and it's like reaching
through the net towards the turtle man
and then it kind of gets like pulled away
I will relay the situation
to the group
and then I will swim in the direction
of
Manta Ray Boy
yeah once you
once I'd say once you get like at maybe about
15 feet from where you are now
that's when you're opening into open water
right there's no more kelp to hide
doing amongst, so.
Can I, is there a way to get on the edge of the kelp
and be within 30 feet of it?
Uh, I mean, if I know, so 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
I'd say like if you get over to here, you're still,
I would say like the five foot edge on the battle map
is still kelp.
Can I do that?
And can I shoot a crossbow at the one on top of the mantaray?
You can go five, so let's say we're like moving
sort of initiative here.
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
Yeah, but I can't reach those and do the claw hand.
And do the pointing.
So with one normal movement, you can get to about here, Daisy.
You could dash and get another, oh, technically also,
you know, you have Rowan's rudders, so you are,
for now you are moving at full speed.
So you could dash and get another 30 feet over this way.
And 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
The crossbow, what's its range?
Well, it says 30 and then 120.
So you would be a disadvantage because you would be here.
Do I get advantage for being in the kelp so you can't see.
So I would say it would be a normal roll.
You'll be a straight roll, yeah.
5, 10, 15, 20.
Okay.
Get over there.
I'll try that.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
So this is, yeah, does anybody, so,
This is going to take Daisy a turn.
You guys have a turn
if anybody else would like to do anything
before Daisy fires this crossboat.
Because that is going to basically
be our role initiative.
Because you, I would say right now
with Daisy's stealth role,
these guys do not know you're here.
Cool.
We also, because you rolled a 30-something,
aren't aware of that one over there?
Or are we aware of that?
Daisy can just telepathically relate to.
I think Roam would want to head in that direction
to try and intercept this second one.
So anything, five or more feet inward, you are in open water.
So I'm preparing to do that.
Okay, sure.
Also, if anybody, like, if you want to swim up above or down below,
we can make that, I've got, like, flying bases here.
Actually, yeah, if we're not in initiative yet,
do I need to be counting my movement?
Because we're not.
I'm just for the sake of it,
because I don't want you to go too far.
Like, this is like the first six seconds.
So we're not in initiative, but I still want to go round by round.
Do you know what I mean?
So do you want to move then?
I will move so long as it doesn't break my stealth,
so it's probably only like 10 feet forward, right?
If you don't want to break stealth, I would say, like...
Oh, yeah, I'll skirt that...
5, 10, 15, 20, 25.
It's about there, and then I'm going to cut in
when initiative begins.
So I'd say, if you want to maintain self,
I'd say you can kind of get to here.
Okay, cool.
And, like, you're kind of using this rock
and everything else to kind of stay hidden.
Cool.
That's it.
Anything else anybody wants to do in...
You sort of have one turn free.
I don't want to push my luck with stealth,
so I'm going to...
Yeah, stay here for now.
Move up when it's ready.
Go on.
I just remembered as well, I do have to mark off a spell slot
for Xanthius for Mage armor.
I wish.
I wish.
Does jump work underwater?
No.
What if I push myself off a rock?
No, you're still swimming.
I would like to heal the turtle.
turtle guy I've got healing word at 60 foot so can I so you would need to so do you want to
stay hidden stay hidden okay get into range like I say go over there I'd say if you move to here
you just have line of sight that's going to be your full movement cool and I will
prepare to do that yeah roll it will do that old simultaneously with the attack roll
Ophelia?
And would you guys like to tell me what to do with Xantheus
because I don't want to make decisions?
Explode.
You can't do that.
Would you give in to Sovereign?
He can't use fire under wars.
He can, but everything has resistance to it.
Okay.
Automatic resistance to it.
What can he do that's not fire?
He can do many things.
He can do other spells.
So we've got...
Yeah, but what's his spell options that could be...
Well, his easiest one is just to do a cantric
which is sorceress burst because then he picks the element.
That's probably what we'd do.
Can he cut?
120 foot range.
Oh yeah.
target. Maybe we'll deal with that one first.
Mantraigai guy?
Yeah. Get rid of the immediate threat.
Sure, he can literally do.
Zanthias will remain exactly where he is.
You all have independent thought. You're all seasoned fighters.
Zanthias doesn't right now, so...
Ophelia?
Um...
I said what I wanted, I wanted him explode.
I'll move a little bit closer, but I don't want to break stealth.
I don't want to push it too much.
You basically go up next to gruff.
Yeah, I think I'll...
Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.
I don't want to give away our...
Position.
Okay, all right, so in that case,
the two things that are gonna happen
is Daisy's gonna make an attack
and Gruff is gonna cast Healing Word.
Perfect. Can I prepare an action?
You can prepare an action, yeah.
I would like to prepare to cast slow
on those two creatures back there.
Okay.
I'm casting it at level.
Do you want my method?
Three.
I will need to know the attack roll.
And eventually I would just need to know
how many hit points.
25 to hit.
25 to hit. I rolled a 16 plus not.
Are you targeting the rider?
The rider. Okay.
So this is...
Do I get sneak attack because the little turtle man's beside him?
Um...
That's an interesting question.
And he doesn't know I'm here.
No, but...
So it's a straight roll.
If you had disadvantage, it wouldn't matter.
But it would have been an advantage.
But disadvantage means you don't get sneak attack
no matter what. I will say
he is currently distracted
with his current target.
I would say
yes, I will give
you the sneak attack on this.
I get 5D6.
What?
That hits.
Oh my God.
Sorry.
Disgusting.
Okay, uh, it's a vivid 11, 12, 13.
Are you broken another one?
28 points of damage.
My God.
Please.
Please and thank you.
Please and thank.
And then how much healing do we do?
22.
22 points.
Very good, very good.
Okay.
So at this point then, what we see is
from the edges of the kelp revealing herself,
Daisy fires this crossback.
It is long, this hand crossbow,
it is long range, but being sort of unaware,
you try and account for that,
and I will say that the bolt barely is able to strike
with enough force to do damage,
but what it does do is it strikes a vicarious,
honorable point in the creature.
If he had been further away, I think that, like,
because I think that underwater weapon ranges are limited to their short range,
but I'm going to allow it for this anyway.
The bolt connects, and you see it sink into the creatures underneath the carapus,
it does not react to that as if it was as bad a blow as it should have been.
Like it kind of, these things seem tougher than the soldiers you fought before.
You get the impression that these are elite soldiers.
These are not the same as the ones that came with Agamont.
their decorations, their just their manner, they look bigger, they look tougher, it sort of
looks over towards you, Daisy, and spots you and kind of yanks on the reins a little bit.
Meanwhile, the primal energy of your healing seren sort of, almost as if flying through the water
encircles this, this caporim who looks up and sort of raises a three-toed sort of hand
almost to like touch, say like, what is this?
like, you know, this creature,
and then tracks its eyeline back to you.
Definitely seems wary, like, is now, like, not sure what's going on.
It doesn't know whether to point their spirit you,
but knows that this is a greater threat.
And looks at you, Gruff, and will gesture with, like, gestures,
it does a series of gestures and points towards the creature.
I am proficient in common sign language.
This is not common.
This is a special capperan language.
Is there similarities, like between Americans and British?
I would say there is a, you get the sense,
you don't know exactly what's being said,
but it's urgent.
The way that they're doing is very urgent,
and you almost get, like, help,
and it's pointing towards the bag,
the net of the little fairy creatures,
little fairy mermaids.
It's like some sort of, like, help them or get them
or do something like that, you know.
I will give them.
a very affirmative nod back.
We love that.
And I will communicate with everyone else.
The net, the bag, those creatures need to be freed.
All right, with that, I would like everyone
to please roll initiative.
Initiotov.
I also need to check my text messages
because I've had some from Mr. Thomas.
Did he explode?
I don't think so, I just check.
And then we have Elite 1.
10.
Two, I'm just gonna have the mounts go together.
Oh, this D4 is a really spiky.
What's the D4?
They're so spiky.
Blah blu-l-l-l-l-l.
Especially on these dispelled dice.
Xanthias gets a eight.
Oh wow.
Wow.
Shot one, terrible.
What can I do?
You're rolling really interestingly for Xanthius today.
I just rolled interestingly for my monsters as well,
at one and a two on their initiative.
Ew.
They're going fast.
And then, and Melm is also awful.
So Daisy, what are we looking at initiative wise?
16.
16. Oh, also they should have had
disadvantage on normal initiatives anyway.
Not that it fucking matters with those rolls I made,
but they would have had disadvantage
because they do have the surprised condition.
Rowan, I got 18.
18, so 16 for Daisy, Rowan, 18, 8 for Xanthius,
Gruff.
10.
And Ophelia.
23, I've got a natural 20.
Always high on the initiatives.
Our names have Vantage.
Yes.
Thomas, what you take to me.
Okay.
Oh, okay, so before Rowan's thing,
so this would have been in Xanthius'
in that round when Daisy attacked.
Tom said he would cast mine sliver
on one of the guys at the back,
whoever Rowan is preparing.
to cost slow on.
So I will do that now.
Nice.
Because I think Mineslipper wouldn't have given away his position.
And I think it has plenty of range as well.
60 feet.
Ooh, maybe not.
Might not be able to.
No, might not.
We have this one now.
5.10, 15.
25, 30, 45, 40, 45, 50, 50, 55, 60.
Would not be enough this guy.
Unless he moved to work, because he didn't move.
He didn't move, but even then he can't get to the 60 feet
get to rowing because it's 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
He wouldn't be able to get close enough.
So, not if he was going to try and stay hidden, I don't think.
Anyway, um, that's Nick?
What's that?
I will move him closer.
Um, but yeah, he will, instead he will do the same thing.
He'll do a held action.
Um, he'll do a held action to try and cast that.
Oh, fuck is what Tom said to that.
Uh, but I will, what I'll do Tommy is I'll have him do a held action.
so if he does get a chance to cast it before Rowan's spell, he will.
In that case, Ophelia, you are up first.
Yeah, I think Ophelia's just going to sprint up to the Manta race.
You're going to do a full dash.
Right, as a reminder, because the Rowan's rudders required two hands.
Do I have a Rowan's rudder?
You have a Rowan's rudder.
You can get there, but then if you want to draw your weapons,
you have to basically abandon the device.
I'm not going to draw my weapons yet,
because I don't think I can get close enough to start with.
You've got 50 feet, because remember with the Rowan's rudder,
you can move full, full distance.
Oh, it's full speed, okay.
Yeah, with the Romans route.
So in that case, I will, yeah, move the 50 feet.
Get with, let's see.
50 feet would get me in striking range then.
No, you are fighting.
With my whip?
With your whip, yes, but a whip is going to be disadvantage underwater.
True, true, true, true, true, true, true.
But if I, okay, I'm going to.
You could reckless.
I'm going to reckless rage, strike with the whip.
So it's just a fight.
flat roll, the vantage and disadvantage cancel out.
And then...
But the Romans rudder now sort of is abandoned
as you like draw the whip, basically.
Kind of like that fourth hour, ish.
Yeah, after this encounter, basically it was gonna be gone, so.
16 to hit with the whip.
16 to hit with it.
Who are you targeting?
I'm targeting the ray.
The ray.
I'm gonna try and hit it with slow.
Okay, I will attempt to make a check
to see if he, because he is a mounted combatant,
I can force you to attack him instead.
So keep that roll.
That is going to be a successful check on his path.
So you have to target him, and his ACE is not 16.
So he kind of rears the mount to the side as the whip.
Instead of striking into the creature,
he kind of causes the mount to dodge the side
and it strikes into his armor, but is not successful.
Okay, with my rage, I can move half my movement.
Oh, so you can dash in?
So can I dash up into the old,
into the rider's business?
Yeah.
And then strike him again with veracity.
Yeah, so you sort of sheathe the whip as you're going
and then whew-ch-come-on, baby.
Ooh, 19, so 26 to hit.
That will definitely hit.
Fantastic-ish.
So just straight up damage, D8 plus 5, full 8, 13,
and my rage plus 2, 15 damage.
15 points of damage.
So, 15, sorry, I've got to do some maths.
Yeah, that strike deftly wounds the creature
who is now bloodied as Veracity strikes in,
piercing through the carapace armor.
Can I feel you do that thing like in Nemo
when the blood goes through the water
and it goes up as I.
However, as a reaction,
I'm gonna have, as a reaction,
he is gonna trigger his toxin spine shield.
I need you to make a dexterity saving throw.
Do I see this coming with my day six?
You do see this coming.
Lovely jubly, natural 20, boy.
No problem.
So he swings this shield to kind of impale you with these spines,
but you push yourself back, deftly agile,
which the creature seems to find, surprising, kind of looks at you.
It just kind of gurgles underwater speaking
in some guttural primordial language.
I don't like that.
I don't like that.
All right.
Ophelia, anything else on your turn?
That is me all done, thank you.
All right.
Then unfortunately it would be Rowan next.
Unfortunately.
Well, just because Xanthia's held action
won't go off.
Rowan is casting slow on those two creatures.
Yes.
You cast slow on those creatures.
Wisdom save of 15.
Wisdom save of 15.
This is, I'll do the giant shark first.
A five.
The giant shark is.
slowed. What about its rider?
Natural 20.
So the rider, obviously, protected by Ojania's magic or
Chorosong's magic, shrugs off the effect, but its mount suddenly
kind of lurches, sluggishly making its way through the water.
The shark blinking and turning its head in confusion as to
what is happening to its body.
Cool.
Excellent. Concentration, don't forget.
Yes.
Oh, do you like to move?
Yes, I'm going to move.
You have revealed yourself now as well, so.
I'm going to rudder for the last time.
For the last time.
I'm literally in a straight line.
Blub, blub, blub.
Don't take my plant with you.
I got caught in the kelp.
And then, um...
Yeah.
And then throw the rudder.
And just prepare to be an interception.
And slow is they move at half speed, minus two AC.
To AC and deck saving throws.
And it can...
Can't take reactions.
Can't take reactions.
Can it affect...
how many attacks it makes.
On its turn, it can take either an action
or a bonus action, not both.
Right, okay.
And it can make only one attack
if it takes the attack action.
There you go, that's important
because the shark does have multi-attacks,
so it can only make two attacks.
Anything else for Roan on your turn?
I am maxed out.
Daisy.
Hello.
I'm gonna move.
Okay, Rich.
Have you got the things?
Where'd you wanna go?
A lend a hand.
Thank you.
Andy.
This is because we've lost all of the frickin' things.
Mark's taken all of her.
I did not take them.
You did.
Just a lot of them broke.
A lot of them broke.
A lot of them broke.
Mine disappeared.
I'm a move there.
Tuck in here.
And then I'm going to shoot the crossbow at the rider.
Again, please.
Yep.
So now I would say, yeah, it's just a normal attack.
Straight attack.
Yep. And at the rider, yes?
Yes, please.
15 plus.
Nine, that many.
Uh, twenty four.
Can I do anything with that?
No, I cannot.
Okay, I get sneak attack because Ophelia's next to him.
Mm-hmm.
That wasn't a very good sneak attack role, however.
20 damage.
20 points of damage.
Looking pretty rough.
Absolutely looking.
Pretty beaten up.
Still up.
I can't shoot a crossbow as my bonus action.
Sadly, not that's a special feature of your radiant blades.
In which case, I...
And I believe you have to attack with the first radiant blade
to then summon the second one, I think.
Hang on, I did have a thing about bonus action stuff
that I meant to talk to you about anyway.
Okay.
But I can't fade it.
Well, Gruff is on deck next and then Xanthias.
It's right, Tom.
You've got time to message in your attack.
Yeah, text, because the mine sliver didn't go off.
So if you would like to do something else, I was going to have you sorceress burst.
Pugh!
So, so explode.
Sort of, mini-expload.
Controlled explode.
Yeah.
When I... Nick, for a dagger, when I make the extra attack with the light property,
I can make it as part of an attack action instead of a bonus action.
Yes.
So the way that works is you have to attack with the main hand weapon that is light,
like your radiant dagger, and then the second attack has the Nick property with your normal dagger.
So you could throw it, but it would have to be when you attack with your normal dagger,
not with a can crossbow.
Because a crossbow doesn't have the...
So I don't get anything else?
I don't think so, not right now, no.
Crossbow, that's pooh.
Okay, that's me done then.
Okay, uh, gruff.
Did you say the crab boy looks bloodied?
The one on top, yeah.
No, it's... No, the rider was bloodied, yeah.
Okay.
Form of an octopus.
Okay.
I don't have an octopus.
That's fine, we can in the theatre, mind it.
Um, I will...
With my, no, with my 60-foot, uh, movement, um,
um, movement, uh, uh, um, um, uh,
swoosh over towards Manta ray and Ryder.
Mm-hmm.
Ryder.
Mm-hmm.
I'm trying to decide whether or not to attack them
or try and wrestle all the net out of their hands.
It's your choice.
I...
That was instead of as a bonus action.
It's what?
As part...
I can do it as part of the attack action
instead of as a bonus action.
So does that mean in standard, I would...
You still...
No, because it's still, like, you have to be wielding two light weapons.
Which I don't think that, if the hand crossbow is a light weapon.
Is this a medium or small picture?
Yeah, range, light.
Okay, so in that case, yeah, you can, with your main hands, you can crossbow,
sorry, Kim, I'm gonna come back to you, I just need to answer this.
Sorry, I just want to.
You can hand crossbow, and then you can attack with a normal dagger,
not your radium blade.
You can attack with a normal dagger, which has the nick property.
Because I don't believe the radiant blade has the nick property,
it has the Vex property.
property.
It doesn't just
doesn't matter.
Yeah, it's a normal dagger
that has Nick,
not the radiant blade.
Because I'm a giant
octopus with grabby little tentacles.
Yeah.
And octopuses are well known
for their fantastic grip.
Yeah.
And it does say that I can grapple things
if I attack,
but can I grab the net
and try and like
latch myself onto it.
You certainly can.
Yeah.
That would be, that would be
I would say that would be an opposed strength role.
So, pull it out of his hands.
Can I use that as my octopus strength?
Because it says if my octopus strength is higher,
stat is higher, I can use that over my own one.
Well, I would say you would have to use the octopus to stat
rather than you're right.
I'm an octopus.
Yeah.
I will give you advantage because you are an octopus.
I'm an octopus.
And you have many tentacles to grab.
Yeah.
You've got eight.
So I would say that you may have advantage on this role.
Octopal advantage.
Yeah.
Can I have eight?
Is that where you roll?
No, can I have eight rolls?
I rolled.
Highest was a 14, lowest was one.
Plus three?
My strength is 17.
So plus three?
15, 16, 17.
17.
I roll a 5 plus 5.
So, yeah, you...
And I think it's like,
this creature is stronger than you still,
but you wrap your octopus tentacles
maybe around that rocky outcropping
and you sort of use the leverage
and it's also being attacked and it's being distracted
by everything else and it just sort of lets go.
Choosing rather to focus on the immediate threat
with Daisy and Ophelia in its face rather than some giant squid
that's just...
I'm not a squid.
An octopus.
Just sweet octopus.
Yeah.
Je sweet octupy.
So let's go and this net sort of opens
and three of these little clownfish tiny mermaids
or meur people I should say
because it's hard to tell their genders.
They sort of swim, and they start, like,
chattering immediate around like, wow, what are you?
Are you an optimist, blah, blah, blah,
and they're just babbling away at you,
like, thanks for saving us, I can't believe you,
we're gonna die in there,
but they're gonna kill us, they're gonna eat us,
blah, blah, blah, borgh, baffin'n it.
And they're just, like, babbling away at you
as they just swarm around you.
Very excited, but that would be your action to do that.
That's all I have.
Okay.
Oh, I have a notification from Tom Hazel.
Let's go, Tom Hazel.
Salk Burks.
It says, Salk Burst, Psychic.
So I will have him join,
I'll have him swim out a little bit as well.
And he will sorceress burst upon the rider of the...
Actually, should he go for the giant sharks?
It's got less AC right now.
What would you like him to do?
Shark or rider?
Shark.
Shark, thumb.
That is going to be a 19 to hit, which will be a hit.
He's doing psychic damage.
If I roll an 8 on the D8 for the spell,
I could roll another D8.
I did roll an eight.
Oh, so 10, I roll another D8.
If I roll another eight, I did.
Tom's gonna be so mad that I'm the one doing this
because he hasn't done this before.
You did roll terribly for him earlier with all his saves.
So I feel like this makes up for it.
So I roll, how many extra eights can I roll?
When you pass the spell, the maximum number of these d-8s you can add
is the spell casting ability modify.
So you can add up to, I think, three or five,
three or four of these.
So another eight.
Another eight.
Oh, no way.
No way.
Eight, eight.
Oh, my God.
That's very lucky in Chinese.
Tha, fah, flat.
So let me just do the, most prosperity to you.
Eight.
I think it outweighed before.
He's blowing up my phone.
I know he's mad.
That's like two extra so far.
Oh, a seven.
I mean close.
That's really good, though.
That's ridiculous.
You watch Zantheis just does 33 points of psychic damage
with a cantrip.
For the shock.
Oh my gosh.
Poor shark.
That's the best I've ever seen Zantheis.
Yeah.
That's what happens when Mark rolls for him.
I'm going to check the wheel.
I'm going to check the messages in a minute.
He's going to be so annoyed.
He's still typing.
He's been in the discourse.
Can I just send a voice now?
It has come to my attention.
Just get, what the fuck?
So 33 points of psychic damage.
You watch us, this shark just starts thrashing its head around
at some imaginary force that is not there
as it becomes enraged by something.
Amazing.
Excellent, that was Xanthius' turn.
Then we go to finally, the bad guy.
get to go.
So I'm gonna do a couple of things here.
Immediately, I'm gonna, for this rider
who is in combat with Ophelia,
I'm gonna spend a point of fate
to activate their blood feed ability.
Ooh, kindred spirit you say.
Which means he, you watch, as you see,
he sort of almost tightens the reins on the manta ray
and blood and essence begins to flow off the manta ray into it.
He is going to heal 13 damage off himself.
Who does that?
And deal 13 points of damage to the Manta ray instead.
Disgusting.
Yeah.
That is, he could do that for free at the start of his turn
because I spent a fake point.
Then he's going to do his suite of attacks.
The first thing he's going to do is he's going to throw a harpoon at Daisy.
Harpoon!
Bhopoon!
24 to hit.
Yeah.
Just a little bit.
Who's the little whack?
That is going to be 12 points of piercing damage, Daisy,
and I need a strength-saving throw from you, please.
Well, that will be not very good for you.
Probably won't be.
Because I am shit at those.
Although I rolled a 19, minus 18.
It's actually enough.
I think, like, the harpoon strikes you,
but some surge of strength that you manage to, like,
grab onto the rock.
The turtles in danger!
As it tries to pull you closer towards it.
It kind of throws out,
It's like a chain wrapped around its wrist
and it tries to yank you towards it.
It does do a scorpion get over here,
but you would manage to resist it.
So that does not successfully work.
It is then going to claw attack against Ophelia,
and you did reckless, didn't you?
I have advantage.
You are punished for the advantage with a natural 20.
No, no, I can take it.
It's what happens when you get the reclush.
So this is going to be 1216 plus wherever I roll.
That is 22 points of slashing damage.
Halfed.
Half because you are raging, so 11.
As it cuts into your body, causing blood to spray up into it.
That is that soldier's go.
This soldier, as a bonus action,
will command its mount to move, but it is slow,
5, 10, 15, 20, that it can barely just get to Rowan.
Brum.
Brum, what is that?
Brum, what is that?
It is going to do something similar.
It is going to try and harpoon Xanthias.
Oh, that might miss.
That is going to be 13 misses Xanthius.
Pings off of his mage armor.
So the harpoon does not strike.
And then he's going to attempt to claw Rowan.
That is only going to be A12 to hit Rowan.
It does not hit.
It does not hit.
Your armor protects you.
So yeah, he swims up and then the two mounts get their turns.
The giant shark is slow to only gets to make one attack.
Yes.
and it is gonna try and bite the man,
just the bite the nearest thing, which is Rowan.
Fight the man.
Bite the man.
18 to hit.
That will hit.
Oh, do you have all of your hit points?
No.
Oh, it has advantage.
That's good.
27 to hit, sorry, we'll let me hit.
It hit the first time.
What have you got a net 20?
Yeah, exactly.
That's a good point.
Nine, 15 points of piercing damage.
H-hmm.
Is it chomp?
I'm gonna stones endurance that one.
All right, because that sucks.
You suck.
I've got a four, plus, plus three, seven.
Seven, so you reduce it by seven, so 15 down by seven
is eight left.
Meanwhile, the Manta ray has its kind of giant stinger tail,
but it also has like mandibles, it's a Manta ray,
but it's like a fucked up Manta Ray.
And so Ophelia is gonna, all of its attacks going into you,
because you currently have it.
have advantage and it can sense that you're vulnerable
to being attacked.
It might have tried to attack Daisy if Daisy had been pulled closer.
So first claw with advantage, sorry, is only an eight.
No hit.
Second claw is going to be a 18.
No hit.
No hit.
All of you got your armor active, your scarabana.
I'm not taking it off.
So that is the two claws, the Stinger.
19 to hit.
That just hits, yep.
Okay, that's the stinger.
That is gonna be 11 points of piercing,
so half to five, but then poison damage, I'm afraid.
But the poison?
Nine poison damage.
Nine.
Stinger, which strikes you.
Perfect, that's actually great, thank you.
Oh, that's, you're more than welcome.
Wait, what?
Right.
I wanted to be at these hit points.
This is good, not really.
I'm in a good place.
The turtle man.
Paprin, and actually the Silmere get to go
as well after this as well,
because they've now been freed.
The Tuttle Man is going to strike,
sensing that this elite soldier is weakened.
He sort of pushes up off the ground,
and swims up and around to the sides
to come and join Ophelia.
And with his spear, he strikes out.
And you watch as his spear is kind of glowing
with green druidic energy,
coral begins to kind of almost form around
where he strikes trying to,
ensnaring strike.
That is going to be an 18 to hit,
which just barely hits the rider.
He is going to take 10 points of piercing damage,
and he is restrained on a failed strength saving throw,
which he passes, unfortunately.
So the coral sort of tries to trap him and slow his movements,
and he just, this creature just flexes his muscles
and breaks free of the coral restraining effect.
He then will also take a reaction
to try and impale the Tuttle Man with his shield
which the Tough Man unfortunately fails
and you see he takes some poison damage
I'm just gonna look at the average on this
to save myself some time
That is gonna be 11 points of poison damage
And you see he kind of like flinches
as these all these like deadly spines
are embedded into his forearm
But he kind of weakly gestures back
That is going to be Turtle Man's Go.
The little murfish, the Silmir, as they're called,
they flit around you.
Wow, oh my gosh, you're so strong.
Thanks for saving us, Optimus.
We're going to help you out.
We're going to help you.
We're going to help you.
As they are going to cast, who is closest to Gruff?
They will cast Bless.
One of them will cast Bless on Gruff, Turtle and Ophelia.
all have a D4 to your attack rolls and saving throws.
The next one, because there's three of them,
is going to whisper something and is gonna try to cast
Tasha's hideous laughter on the night.
Aw, yes.
He does have advantage against charm effects, unfortunately,
and does succeed.
So you hear this little creature in some,
again, that kind of guttural, like,
it tries to tell a joke and the creature just looks
and just shrugs and disregards it.
It seems like a laughing man.
No.
And then the other one is gonna look over towards
the shark and the rider on the shark
and sort of, it blows bubbles that then become
these multicolored fairy fire bubbles
and it surrounds this area.
And I'm gonna cast fairy fire on those two.
The shark fails.
The rider also fails.
These two are currently, any attacks against them,
have advantage.
Nice.
I will try to make a note.
Very cool of this.
Advantage, advantage shark.
Yeah, and they kind of...
And then they whip around from you, Gruff,
and go and hide in the rocks and the ferns next to Daisy.
They're just like, we're gonna hide now!
Very, very chaotic Gremlin energy from these creatures.
What's happened?
Ophelia, we are back up to the top and I think...
Actually, it's the top of the round.
I think that is the best point for us to end the episode,
because it is time, unfortunately.
Time.
And rather than starting halfway through a round,
I think it's better if we just jump straight in with it.
the fresh new round.
Trug. Trug.
Trug.
Trug.
Yes, you have leapt to rescue this Kaeparin
and the Silmir facing off against two of Coral Song's elite soldiers
and their mounts.
Hmm.
Yes, some excellent work already.
The shark being slowed is gonna be very beneficial.
Yeah.
And putting a lot of damage from those sneak attacks
onto one of the nights or this early, very good.
as well. But with that, we'll have to see what happens next time for our next episode.
Yay!
Yay!
Thanks for watching.
I just imagine if Mateo and Sir Dorian have been here.
And take this as your note to go to the aquarium if you need to build underwater maps because it's fantastic.
Just order aquarium things. It's great. I'm going to use these for like, these are great for alien planets or like, you know, just bizarre flora.
I got a big bag of it off Amazon and I've shown.
all the non-red bits.
They're gonna be used for other things.
But yeah, mixed with Dwarven Forge,
it looks pretty great.
It does, it does.
It does.
It does.
Also, orca makes great giant shark.
Orca.
And this dark mantle, perfect manta ray.
Yeah, that's pretty spooky that one.
I don't like that one.
Love it.
With that, thank you so much for joining us, everybody.
That is gonna be the end of today's episode.
We will see you next time for more Hirollers.
Take care.
Bye bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Thank you.
