Welcome back to Othea the Dragon Empire.
Our heroes are currently engaged in an epic clash
against Rexanath.
Xanthius's sibling, his brother,
who has been sent here by their father, Organis,
and a very reluctant battle is taking place.
This is not what Rex wants to do,
but he's showing no mercy in his mission.
And in fact, I'm afraid to say that it is
Rexanath's turn next.
and I think that he is going to,
he's not really had a chance to do some of his various things just yet.
Just for a recap of the battle map,
Rex andath has just charged through Rowan and Gruff
to the edge of the battlefield onto the west side.
Gruff about 30 feet away is prone next to Rowan.
We have three shadow warriors,
the sword and shield in front of Ophelia,
Is that Benedicta there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Mage, Shadow Warrior,
off to the north a little bit,
behind a wall.
And Daisy has just
bamped with a dimension door,
Xanthius, to the exact opposite
side of the battlefield,
to the north.
Good time.
To the east.
Rexanath sort of moves back into the battlefield,
charging back the way he just came,
frustrated that his, like,
Xanthus got away from that
that devastating charge.
attack. He leaps up on top of the kind of crumbled, broken wall that he blew up with
as an explosive. You are currently prone, gruff. He is going to make an attack with his
great spear. Yes, with his great spear against you, as you are downed. As he will have
advantage on this attack, and I think this is the first second he's had advantage, he has a
trait called brutal advantage, which means he deals more damage whenever he attacks a target and
has advantage on the roll.
That's not a crit.
That is gonna be a 23.
Yeah, even with the Song of Stone and your armor of open thornt.
Oh, that's right, so yeah, the hell goes away.
Back, back.
It wouldn't have been enough, actually,
if I wasn't in the anti-magic field.
Yeah.
Well, the anti-magic field is unfortunately still up.
I need more D6s.
Just don't bother.
No, no, I do. I need to bother.
Do you lose your temp as well?
I haven't been tracking it this whole time.
Oh, okay, very.
Because all the time that I'm doing stuff,
it's been in his anti-magic field.
Okay.
So I don't have the ability.
You're not getting the good news.
He just came to you.
That is going to be...
That is 28 piercing damage,
and you get the sap again from that.
He is then just going to leap over the both of you.
I think he's going to land here.
You technically get an attack of opportunity against him as part of that movement, both Rowan and Gruff, if you would like to remember, it does use your reaction.
I have used my reaction.
You've not had your turn again yet, so you don't get it.
I'm rolling around on the floor, dribbling. Is that fine?
You can still make the, yeah, absolutely.
You, like, swing as he leaps over you.
Okay.
Seven is my lowest.
And you see that he powerfully just leaps up into the air, slams down in the ground, and then I think he...
But so I rolled it to disadvantage because of sap.
So sap has gone away.
Yeah, that's great way of using it.
Yeah, good way of burning it.
He is then with, I think,
really doesn't like the fact that, like,
Daisy and Xanthias keep, like, Banffin and running away.
Oh, also, I did forget that his tri-blade that he threw
would have moved, but I don't think it would have hit anybody.
It would have gone five.
I think it would have gone and hit one of the shadow creatures.
No.
It would have hit the guy, but he moved.
So it's close to, but it's not quite hit those guys yet.
Do I want to, like, try and...
I think after he lands, he will, so he went 20,
he jumped another 20, so he has 10 feet of movement left.
So he's gonna move up next to Aphelia.
Your AC goes down, unfortunately, then Aphia.
And I think that he is now,
you see he moves the spear to one hand,
and from his back he pulls out this great battle axe,
and he's gonna swing that at your legs.
Not my legs.
This whole fight, all I can hear is the Halo Shield.
No, is the, whoo-hoo.
19.
Yeah.
Against your new AC.
for the new AC as unfortunately, it is one candidate.
So that is gonna be 14 points of slashing damage
and I need a constitution saving throw from you.
Consum, yeah, 13.
13, you are unfortunately knocked prone
as he is the top all weapon mastery.
Down I go.
Okay, right, yep.
And that is all of his movement.
He's made one attack, two attacks.
I think he then drops the battle axe,
just on the ground.
He just drops it, basically.
Oh, my God.
And now that you're, now that you're pronophilia,
he's gonna get the spear in two hands
and plunge it into you, because now he has advantage.
Good thing he has the advantage.
That is gonna be a 22.
Yep.
It's basically the same.
It's, so 20, oh no, this is all physical damage.
You're gonna half this.
That is gonna be 34 piercing damage.
So halved to 17.
All right.
I told you, this is not your fight.
Let me finish him.
That is Rexna's a ton.
He has no more bonus actions to use.
Yep, that is the end of his turn.
He does get his reactions back at this point.
He just cleared half the battlefield.
And then he's turned up and he's back to me.
Two of us fell over.
Yeah, he has a movement speed of 50 feet like Ophelia, by the way.
Like he is as fast as Ophelia, but he is heavily armoured.
He's bulky, carrying all these weapons.
It kind of shows like he is a physical, like, exemplar, basically.
And that leap he did, by the way,
he literally left like 20 feet in the air
and then came down.
Like, scared job.
He's got a job.
He's a gym, bro.
He's got a job.
His job is assassin.
Assassin or just straight up murder?
He's not getting paid for this.
I guess more just straight up murder.
He doesn't have the stealth.
Do you have to be stealthy to be an assassin?
Technically you don't, right?
You just have to kill people for money.
I guess actually doesn't get paid.
But then do you disappear?
It's disappearing and being sneaky.
Are we talking about like hitman,
where you have to like implicate...
Anyway, Santhians.
Before I say this, I'd like zero judgment
because on the first turn I wouldn't have been able to cast this
because I was punched in the stomach.
The second turn absolutely could have cast this,
but instead decided to spaff a level six spell slot
into an anti-magic field.
Can I...
Am I able to cast a spell magic?
Would you like to make a check on the field
to know if you can do that?
That would be your free...
That's the main thing.
Arcanic.
I want to know if I can burn through
the field to get to the Roanstone.
Arcana!
Arcana!
Fairly nowhere.
Oh, buddy.
You have no idea.
He's too far away.
I can't see the field.
That's really weird.
Everyone else is seeing this green orb.
You can't.
It's green colorblind.
I have been this entire time.
He sees all the dirt as just textualist.
It's like the black and white grid.
Yeah, the grass is always blue or on the other side.
It's not a lot of light.
No, because he's saying it's invisible.
He's saying the green field is invisible.
Missing texture.
Yeah, right.
You don't know.
You don't know if the spell magic will work or not.
It's worth a try.
No, it's worth a try, absolutely.
It's worth a try.
Yeah.
So I will try.
So it's a third level spell, and I can upcast it.
I don't know how magical, powerful this giant magic is.
I know that giant magic is very magical powerful.
Could you get melody?
To make a check?
To make that check for you.
He's already made the check,
but I would allow you to spend fate to be...
Like, Malley, you can interrupt, basically.
If you would like to.
Yes, I would.
Spend a fate point.
Because otherwise, I'm just burning a spell slot here,
which I already don't want.
19.
She sees you going to cast a spell magic
and just is like,
Xanthias, it won't work.
It won't work on the anti-magic.
Oh, my God.
Oh!
We have to destroy that stone.
Okay.
So you like chain lightning and dispelling.
It's like, what are you doing?
She's like, I just taught you some powerful magic.
Zanthias, it's green in there.
It's green.
You can't see it, but he has a field.
Melody, I can't see that.
But yeah, she just calls out like,
the spell magic won't work.
Um, okay.
What's green?
What is green?
What do you mean?
What's green?
Does that even Rowans looked really weird to you this whole time?
Let's not canonize that Xanthias can't see the color green.
It creates a lot of,
My big purple friend, Rowan.
So would you just see a purple field?
Yeah.
As Shadow Warriors will have found him.
I don't know, man.
Anyway, what would you like to do instead?
Action, move, action, bonus action.
Yeah, I want to use my flight, my drachronic flight,
which no action required.
Oh, okay.
Great.
So I have 10 minutes of flight.
I escape the dimension door with a flying daisy,
I get inspired.
I cast my own fiery wings
as a direct counterpart
to Daisy's radiant wings.
And I will shoot up,
up and up.
How high?
Crown.
Nope.
I will go just, let's say 30 feet up.
Okay, 30 feet.
And do you want to move,
are you just going up or do you want to move
like more in?
Fully upsies.
Okay, so 30 feet up?
Stay away from him, but now upsies.
Okay.
You can chase me across the battlefield.
He can't come up.
Can't he?
I don't know, maybe.
He doesn't have a boat, does he?
You saw him jump 20 feet in the air,
but maybe that's the limit.
30.
Pretty good.
And I will just cast a, let's do a,
ah, my brain for a second.
Can you speak for me?
Scorching Ray, there it is.
Scorching Ray, let's do these at the Shadow Warriors.
Which one, all three of them?
This, again, I need to, no, I'm at it.
actually going to do it. I moved him and didn't realize he moves within 10 feet of that
shadow warrior. When he does, he doesn't seem to notice, this thing just turns back into a black
crystal and he's gone. I didn't realize I moved him that close. But yeah, you see that as it
enters the field, it just vanishes into a black crystal. Take the win. Yeah, because the other one
I was like, oh no, I moved the other guy into it. He can do that. Rex moved into him, yeah. So,
yeah. So there's the Magus and the sharpshoots. I'll do just two, I'm casting at third level. And I
do two on sharpshooter, two on magus.
Yes, perfect.
And that is a plus eight to hit.
Just roll max damage.
Just roll max damage.
Okay, watch this.
So plus eight to hit on plus one.
So that's a, let's do two against the magus.
Okay, so this against the magus.
Four plus eight.
Which is?
12. 12, barely just misses the Magus.
AC 13, major armor.
All right, another one against him.
Buddy.
What's 12?
Was 12 hit?
Another four?
I rolled another four.
Okay, it's a sharpshooter!
Scorching ray never plays it up.
Unnatural 20.
Oh, that hits.
Great.
You get another one against him.
Oh, yeah.
Because you did it at third level.
I have advantage because I'm in a raging.
Okay, let's just re-roll all of this.
Let's just start again from the beginning.
My first two rolls were four.
Okay.
Let's say I rolled two.
So that was the first ray against him.
The second ray was an unnatural 20.
So one's hit against this guy.
Great.
Now let's do this guy.
So you get with advantage.
Sharp sugar is a six plus four, plus eight, sorry.
So 14.
He has slightly a higher AC
because he's wearing armour.
It does not hit.
There's your advantage roll for that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
17 plus 8 and then a, oh, 18 plus.
19 plus 8.
Okay, yeah, so it's basically one hit
against each of them at this point.
Okay, do you.
Do you've got fire dice.
You've got fire dice.
I do have fire dice.
You do buy me fire dice.
I'm so sorry.
Big fireball fire dice.
Watch them roll two ones.
No, no, this is going to be matched damage.
Two and a five, so seven against the majors.
Seven against the majors.
And then it's a sharpshooter, two and a three, so five.
And they're both dead.
That sounded like a different place.
They are not dead.
You just got dubbed.
Unfortunately, you did get dup.
The scorching rays do affect them,
but if you're not powerful enough to take them out,
as you are flying up 15 feet in the air.
30 feet in air. End of turn?
I'll sorcery point some rooms in as well.
Okay, I'm gonna spend a point of face.
for Rex and ath to use his lunge ability.
So he gets to move up to half his speed.
You will get an attack opportunity, Athena, even though you're prone.
Rock him up.
You do have disadvantage because he hit you with his spear.
Yes.
10, 15, 20, 20.
I will use fate.
Whilst you're rolling that, are you going to spend fate?
Yes, please.
Give me my fate point back.
Delicious. As he moves, as he's running,
he puts the spear on his back,
and from his waist, he pulls out like a fold
compound bow and with a flick it extends
and he draws out an arrow with a strange crystal head on it.
So he does use his other weapons.
Unnatural 20 against him, but we'll hit.
Not being used my original on that.
It's just something that we're tripping over all his discarded
weapons.
Yeah, well the battle axe he dropped and two of his throwing discs are out,
but the spear he did put on his back.
I was hoping all the other ones were just cardboard and just for show.
11 damage.
11 damage, perfect.
So you do mention to catch him in the leg as he runs past,
but, and then he continues on his way, basically.
He pulls out this boat and he's gonna fire this arrow up at Santhias.
Me? Why?
What does the crystal tip do?
Yeah, that's a great question.
You know what if a guy's concepts this in this game?
Maybe they do, we just move on too quickly.
This is a gravity crystal.
Only a 12 to hit.
Doesn't hit.
Because the major armor's up, right?
Major armor's up?
I don't really, it's just like songs of stone.
So he is not as accurate with his bow
as he is with his melee weapon,
so he actually has a lower attack bonus
because it's like dexterity base.
He's still good, but like the arrow,
and it bounces off the mage armor
or you kind of deflect it with Dr. Strange hands or whatever.
But the arrow flies.
As it flies off, I will say that you would probably see
it like impacts, maybe it impacts the tree behind you, right?
As it does, there is a thunderous kind of like
impulsive power.
Okay.
It's never really.
Revolution stone.
Yeah, but that was his legendary action,
and that is one of his arrows fired as well,
so I need to mark that down.
One thunder arrow.
Got to make a right show out of you.
Malady, Sister Superior, Malady.
How unhealthy is everyone looking?
Pretty bad.
You're looking pretty bad?
One third.
One third.
Phelia?
I'm nearly down to half.
I'm at half.
I'm at 11.
Gruff, can you remember me,
what's to range on mass cure wound?
60.
60, okay.
I'll double check that, but I'm pretty sure it's 60.
That's B-Fee.
This is D8, isn't it?
It's a D-8, it's it?
60.
Yeah, okay, so I think she can hit everybody if she sort of moves.
And it's like, yeah.
5D8, plus your spell casting lot of fire.
Yeah.
So I think she can hit everybody, and it's how many creatures?
Is it five?
Cinco creatures.
Six.
Six.
She does want to include Benedicta, so one, two, three, four,
five, five.
Five.
Daisy's not really been hit much, has she?
She's not too bad.
I think she needs to heal herself more than Daisy.
And she is gonna heal her sister.
So yeah, she is gonna cast, she can only do this once,
she's gonna cast mass cure wounds on everybody.
Nice.
This is, um, while she can as well.
So it's gonna be.
You know, like.
No, that's it.
14, 15.
It's crazy, this is the first time I've ever seen this spell.
I'm never healing you again.
You can say it.
27 hit points to everybody.
Nice.
Hell yeah.
Thank you, Melody.
How much, sorry?
27.
You can see that she is sweating more than normal.
She does sort of restore some health to herself,
but it seems to be less effective against her.
It's still enough to heal her up,
but it does seem to be less effective against her.
And then 27 to her sister.
That's the most powerful healing spell
I've ever seen, ever.
Never seen anything like that.
It's good to finally have a protector
I'm just making a list.
That is her action.
Would she be able to move that far, actually?
It doesn't matter, I think.
I'm just going to step over your body.
Mali only has a movement speed of 20 feet, by the way,
so that's why she can't move too far.
That is the end of Melody's turn.
We jumped to the top of a brand new round.
The Shadow Marksman is going to fire two bolts up at the Flying Man.
Hi there.
All right, that was like we caught.
25 to hit on the first one.
Yeah. Actually, yeah, I said that I show you twice,
so I'm just gonna do that.
Oh, that's fine.
25 again, two 19s in a row.
Why not?
No, not 20s.
That's true.
Could be worse.
Could be worse.
Could be worse, though.
That is gonna be eight plus four.
12 points of damage to you on the first one
and you are shadow marked.
And then that is gonna be 11 points on the second shot.
Would the second shot be affected by Shadow Mark?
No, it applies to his allies basically.
Sorry, seven.
11 on the second.
Yeah. So 12 and then 11.
Ophelia. Cool, cool, cool.
Then Gruff is up unless I interrupt, which I probably will.
Fair. Stand up.
Yeah, get up, stand up.
Oh, sorry, hang on, let me move your reminder.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Yeah, and she'll move 5, 10, 15 feet towards Rex.
15 feet?
Yes, please.
15 like that?
Yeah.
So staying out of the 10-foot range?
Sure, okay.
Yeah, and then I will,
see if I throw Veracity but as a mundane weapon?
Veracity is a rapier, it is not designed to be thrown.
You could do it, but then it doesn't come back
to your hand or anything like that.
You will literally just be like throwing a rapier.
Okay.
Not the most effective use of a weapon.
If you wanna attack with Veracity,
you will need to probably get in melee with him.
You can use the whip.
I'll just get this face.
You know what?
Yeah?
Just going to go in there and like engage him?
Yep.
Cool.
Yeah.
Cool.
I'll try and get this brutal strike off as well.
Okay.
Yeah, I'll try and aim for this.
You're going to go for the ruin stone?
Roonstone as well.
Do you like to fate?
I would like to fate, please.
How would advantage to it?
No.
Well, if I, if I reckless as normal, I will,
but because I'm trying to get brutal strike,
if it negates my reckless.
But you do more damage.
I still do more damage.
Okay.
Mara still gets the.
Advocates against you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh my...
Six plus seven.
Six seven.
Six seven, six seven.
Not enough, I'm afraid.
Not enough, I'm afraid.
First attack.
Yes.
Second attack.
We got it.
Lays and Jets wrap this up.
My hand twitch.
All it's gonna take is one big 20.
Unfortunately, Ophelia both strikes.
He is very maneuverable. He's very defensive.
He knows to protect himself.
Crazy, dude.
Gruff.
Yeah, the dice rolls are.
The dice rolls are really screwing, you guys.
I hate today. So if I stand up, I go from 35 to how many feet?
I say take off 15, so you have 20 feet of me.
20. So if 20 would get me where?
5, 10, 15, 20.
Okay, I want to do that.
And then I want to use my Sir Leo Spirit and jump 20 foot.
Oh, okay.
Will I get him?
Five, 10, 15, 20.
No, it gets you like just outside.
of him.
Then I can't.
Can't do anything?
Yeah, you have to strike him to finish the jump.
So you can't actually jump unless you're gonna hit him, basically.
Ophelia?
I could hit Ophelia.
Yeah, you could hit Ophelia.
How is everyone's HP around?
You could, I don't know how we'd coordinate this role play.
Like mid-snees by the way.
You're saying, you're holding the world.
I can use the wanders the sculptor to fuck me.
This is crazy.
I've never been midst this long.
Cast jump on you as you go by as a held action,
but you'd have to wait until my turn to do it.
But that's still, jump will still not get me.
Oh, it's 30 foot with you?
And so you could add that to Sir Leo's jump.
So if you held Sir Leo's jump until Rowan's turn,
yeah, I'd let you do that.
It's a cool team up.
Combo.
You look fucked doing it because one of the Skull.
Oh, I've got an idea of it.
Don't worry.
Cool.
Is that what you want to do?
Hold action.
The legs never leave the floor.
They just get really long.
Well, would I need to cast the Silio jump, though, if...
You wouldn't need to, but you get damage bonus himself.
Yeah, and advantage himself, I think, right.
I can't remember exactly what it gives you.
But I'm, like, not that far after you.
Let's do it.
So you're standing next to Row and then it's turn.
Currently, until...
Is it a touch spell jump?
Yeah, it would be.
Okay, so that's a gruff end of turn?
I'm going into Healing Word.
myself
at level
three.
So I'll just get that done
while you guys do that
because I'm going to spend a fate point
to do a interrupt.
No, no, no, he does, like,
Rowan's going to move up and cast it
because then you can do the jump.
Right?
I'm going to interrupt.
Rex is going to turn around.
He's going to use his
You're in my way.
Action on Ophelia.
I need a strength saving throw from you.
Ophelia's behind you.
Do you have an advantage
because you're going to?
your rage. 24. Oh, enough. So he goes to grab you and he goes to like throw you,
but you manage to like maybe you dig Veracinto the ground as he like kind of throws you and
you kind of drag yourself to and you resist basically. But he was going to basically throw you
into the wall next to the marksman. But yeah, you managed to resist it. So then we go to Rowan.
It's Rowan's turn. So I will be giving you as a bonus action the jump ability.
Okay. I will use 10 feet of movement to get to you first.
Yep, and then that triggers your jump, so that activates now.
Yes.
What does it look like?
So Gruff's legs break forwards, and they become, like, rabbit-like hair legs.
They become, like, leoprene hair legs, basically.
Sweet.
I will attack.
Penis.
Oh, great.
I will attack.
Do your Siliot attacks.
You get one attack against him.
Well, is it just the one that, do I not get the two attacks?
Not on a held action.
Okay.
I'm gonna fate.
Okay.
And are you attacking him on the Roonstone?
Fucker.
Doesn't matter.
Okay.
What'd you get?
Natural one?
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
11, 12, 13, 14.
Dice, man.
I mean, yeah, fortunately.
I haven't rolled anything over double digits.
Yeah, you guys is really screwing you guys.
But yeah, so you go to like bring the axe down,
like creaning in from the sky,
but he almost just seems to sense it
and just at the last minute takes a big side step.
The axe slams into the ground and he just looks.
Okay, let's all just take a moment above the table.
We can manifest destiny.
We can do this.
We can win the fight.
Let's just turn tides right now.
Don't worry.
Roll that dice.
Positive energy.
Roll it.
Positive energy.
Actually.
Kind of mid.
Kind of mid.
Kind of mid.
Min might work.
We got rid of mid.
Right.
And now we're into the high rolls.
Okay.
Take minutes.
All right.
Stop.
I think that he said disappointing.
Inside Groff's head, he would have been like, I know.
That was the start of my go.
Yeah.
So it's still your go, yeah, yeah.
So that went on, yeah.
Now, Mara.
Yes.
Let's go.
Go on.
You know.
I love it.
You only have one point of fame.
This is gonna be huge.
Performance of creation.
Uh-huh.
Ruance.
I think probably genius level.
Mm-hmm.
What if?
Mm-hmm.
I can create a medium-sized thing,
which is five foot.
You can actually create up to a large size thing.
14, level 14.
Yeah, you can create up to a large size object.
I'm level 11.
Yeah.
I thought it was at level 11 you can create a large thing.
Yeah.
Yeah, I did check.
Okay, sure.
I'd be totally on that if that was it.
However, Rowan understands engineering super well.
Does he?
Yeah, he studied.
He's studious with it.
Sure.
I feel like he could create a clockwork creature
that's entirely analog and not meant.
Can't create a creature.
Can't create a construct.
It's not a picture.
It's a lot of individual.
It's a lot of individual parts.
You can create a deco, like a dummy, yeah?
It's a wind-up toy that will move.
No.
I think Rowan is so good with biology
that he's able to create a human being
from all the individual bones.
Almost certain it specifically has to be an object.
It cannot be a creature.
It says non-magical.
Yeah?
A non-magical object.
Non-magical item.
Item.
Not a creature, not a construct.
Little creatures my item.
Uh-huh.
What do you want the creature to do?
He's tasked with the sole ability to hit runes.
No.
What is my purpose?
To gouge that fucking gemstone out.
Destroy ruins.
I am going to put a hard note on this one.
I love the effort.
I love the enthusiasm.
No, no.
Yeah.
Right.
In which case I'm going to...
Just turn around and punch Rowan's giant stone.
Psh, psh, psh, psh, psh.
I'm going to Barthic-inspired Gruffeth.
Okay, yeah.
Barnic inspiration is not magical.
This is Rowan's presence.
It's his personality.
You feel yourself inspired gruff.
But no moat.
No moat.
No moat is magic.
And with my action, I'm going to cast
vicious tone on...
The Magus, the Shadow Magus.
Okay.
It's a cantrip wisdom 15.
That is an 18, unfortunately.
It's made of like construct,
material does not seem to be affected to your tone.
Rowan rolls over, sticks his head up as an eyes and dyes.
That's quite the reaction.
Sure. Okay.
Would you like to do any more movement, Rowan?
You do have 20 feet of movement left.
He's actually...
He's going to stay in front of melody, I think.
Okay.
All right. Perfect.
And my reaction is back now.
So my song of stone is continuing.
That's it.
I will move forward actually
so that they're within 60 foot range
at the back there of my song.
Cool.
So where do you want to go?
Just until they're 60 foot range in.
I know these guys.
Zan...
Zan, Zan, the 25th dead man.
I'm very, very far away.
50, 50, 60.
You're just already in.
Even with his height?
Yeah, because it's like a dome.
I don't do diagonals.
Fuck that shit.
You don't do diagonals here.
I'm going to do...
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty.
Oh my god.
This thing's just gonna.
Who's close?
It comes whizzing past, but I'm gonna just.
Does it hit the magus?
It would end as it got to here
because that was where he originally kind of threw it.
Actually no, it might hit the Magus,
but the Magus might get to act before then.
Sister Superior Benedicta, she is going to,
I wanna get as many of you in 30 feet.
Five, ten, 15, 20, 25, 30, yeah, okay.
She can't get you guys, unfortunately.
She is going to, I think,
or maybe she would move up first, then do it.
She is going to...
Sorry, I've got to think a lot right now.
Sal go to...
Yeah, maybe she does need to deal with these shadows, I think, still.
But she is going to just say,
friends, sister Ophelia, Gruffeth, Rowan,
we can do this.
I know that Pyrrhus, the gods, the scions,
they are on our side, the saints are with us.
We can do this, and she holds aloft her sword,
and she's gonna use her fate ability,
radiant blessing, which grants you guys a fate point
because it comes out of my pool.
All allies within 30 feet can either clear a condition,
gain 20 temp HP, or have an advantage on your next attack.
Oh, that one.
Advantage.
Yeah, Advantage please.
Roman, what'd you like?
I don't think you have conditions to clear right now.
Advantage.
Advantage, okay?
So all three of you get advantage.
Malady is going to gain 20 temporary hit points.
Cool. Yeah.
And it doesn't affect Benedict herself, unfortunately.
And then I think she is going to, can she...
5, 10, 15, 20, 20.
Yeah, she's going to charge over here
and try and take out this Magus.
Her first is going to hit,
so she will spend a divine smite on this.
Holy smite, I should say.
7 plus 11 points are physical.
Based on the last roll, this guy might be roasty-toasty.
22.
It felt really hard, sorry.
29.
I feel not.
Damage to the Magus.
Looking pretty bad, looking not quite bloody, but pretty nasty.
And then she's gonna do her second attack,
which unfortunately is gonna miss.
That's okay, the spinning blade is about to get in.
I think so, yeah.
That is Benedict's turn.
Benedict.
It is then the Magus.
Save yourself.
Magus is going to, he moves, but when he moves,
he becomes like an ethereal smoke
and does not provoke an opportunity attack.
Not convenient.
Very convenient.
And then, I wish I was a shadow man.
In real life.
Would you vape?
Would you vape?
Can you go over there? I'm hungry.
Would you vape yourself?
I think he's just gonna blast Benedicta.
Vake that.
Would you be like Blackberry or something?
and misses.
So that is Megis done.
Great.
So Daisy.
Cool.
Okay.
So for Daisy, I'm thinking.
Steady aim with a bow.
Okay.
She hasn't moved.
It means that she can't move this turn.
Right?
Her speed becomes zero.
Yeah, that's fine.
So she's going to steady aim.
So she gets advantage with the bow to aim for the run.
And what kind of arrow would you like to use?
A radiant arrow or a piercing arrow.
Piersing arrow.
Okay.
A not magical one.
So she pulls out a physical arrow.
Okay.
And she's going to take aim at the.
the Roonstone? Yes. Okay, so she has advantage.
Would you like to spend a fate? Would you like to spend everything else?
I will spend the fate. Yes. She has plus 10 on this.
Come on. Plus nine because, oh no, yeah, because the mad, the boat.
Actually no, it's outside it. It's, it's out of the field.
Yeah, so it does plus, yeah, yeah, yeah. It will lose the damage.
It loses the possible damage.
This could be big. You do.
It could be big.
Go, Daisy.
Rough is there, I know if you're.
26.
Ah! 26.
So 30, because of fate.
I can't parry it.
That's unparryable.
Well, actually, no, it's a range attack.
He can't parry range attacks anyway.
So the arrow, this mundane arrow, and I think he's just not,
he's like so focused on Ophina and Gruff who have rushed up.
He's kind of fighting the two of you off.
You're like the blade, the axe is swinging,
he's kind of fending you all off.
He turns at the last minute, and that's when Daisy fires the shot,
and the arrow hits the Roonstone.
Now, does it do enough damage?
This is...
Can you be a DC damage?
With sneak tag.
I am going to tell you that the Roonstone is made of some tough crystal.
but it is resistant to piercing and slashing damage
because it's like a hardened crystal.
But still.
Still.
How much sneak attack is six?
And the, so it's six, D6 sneak attack damage.
The bow has normal damage as well.
Is it a D8?
So 1 D6, plus six.
Oh, one D6.
Yeah, so plus five because it does lose one.
So another D6.
Another D6 plus five.
Holy shit.
Oh, that's not bad.
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14, 14, 16, 17, 17,
20, 20, 25, 35, 30.
30 points of damage.
As I said, it is resistant.
So it's half to 15.
The arrow strikes the runstone,
and a big crack forms down its middle.
Maybe about half HP.
Okay.
The field flickers for a moment,
but it comes back online
as the gemstone is deeply cracked.
15 HP down.
Fate turning, I told you.
Manifest destiny.
Manifest destiny.
Did you take a fake from us?
I think that's everything.
Oh, yeah, I do.
You can bonus, oh no, you've bonus action.
It's the...
Yes, stay young.
So I can't move.
Done my action.
Yeah, that's it done.
Good too.
Okay, great time.
I figured it out. It took three rounds.
I did it.
You did it. You did it.
It is Rex and Hatt.
You guys have advantage from Benedicta, don't you?
Uh-huh.
I'm gonna be such a dick.
I'm so sorry.
Don't do it, do it, do it.
He sees Zantheus up in the air.
up in the air, that's a problem. He needs to get him down. Daisy just did a lot of damage to the
Roonstone. She's a problem. You two are a distraction. So he pulls from that band DeLeer, another,
a different looking one of those ceramic orbs, and he throws it just behind you so a 10-foot
radius catches just the two of you as a blinding flash of light goes off. I need you both to
make a constitution saving throw. I want great at those. Actually, I am.
We got one faith there's something I have thought I've not used for...
16 for me.
It's a failure, I forgot.
As a reaction, when you make a strength text constitution of charisma ability check or saving throw it after you've rolled,
but before knowing a result, I spent two blood points to increase the result by 1D6.
Perfect.
So I'm doing that.
Okay.
Oh, you can do it after you see the result if you roll like super high.
Before you know the result.
Yeah, before you know the result.
Okay.
Sorry one more time.
15.
14 is a failure.
The two of you are blinded as his flash bomb.
As you are both blinded, you both have the blinded condition.
You may repeat the saving throw at the end of your turn,
otherwise it is going to take some time for it to go away.
Again, he came prepared.
As your ears are ringing, like the flash has gone off,
so you both have the blinded condition,
which means any attacks have disadvantage, basically.
and you can't see you automatically fail any checks that require sight.
He is then going to, yeah, he'll take a step.
So you do get a tax opportunity, but it would spend your advantage from Benedicta to make it a plain roll.
Yeah.
Okay, that'll take it.
Okay, sure.
14.
14's not enough to strike either of them.
Cocked, but...
You can re-roll it if it's cocked, yeah.
It was a 17 if it...
It was.
You should just push it down there.
Yeah.
Two.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I fucking hate myself.
That's not 17.
I hate myself right now.
Do you want to put your head up in my mouth?
He still has his bow in his hand.
He's going to fire up at Xanthias.
Why, though?
I don't know why is he targeting me.
Oh yeah, the law.
The law.
Is that advantage gone forever as well?
It was a one on the next attack, yeah.
21.
That's why I said I was being a dick,
because I knew that I was going to make you waste it.
Yeah, 21's unshieldable.
Unshieldable.
In that case, my dear friend,
I need you to make a Constitution saving throw.
It's one of these arrows.
It's a special arrow.
And the thing is, the reason these go off
is because they explode outside of the anti-magic field.
They seem to be inscribed with effects.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so, what is that, eights for this one?
Constitution.
I think losing all my dice.
Manifest. Manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest.
19.
19.
Yeah?
Is just barely a success.
You are still gonna take,
You're still gonna take 14 piercing damage,
and the thunderous explosion erupts.
You're gonna take half thunder damage.
So 13, 12, six points of thunder damage.
But more importantly, this kind of force of explosion
tries to knock you prone,
and if a flying creature is knocked prone,
they immediately fall.
But you succeeded, so you managed to kind of, like,
pivot yourself and keep yourself up in the air
as that arrow goes off.
Okay.
That is the second one of those.
Does it look like he has a quiver of these things?
He has eight arrows left.
Oh my God.
They do seem to have different tips.
He's going to pull out one with a green tip this time.
Healing.
It's not the one with a USB stick on the end.
What's that?
So he's upload.
That is going to be a 19 again to hit.
Got me.
I will shield that one.
You can shield that one.
You can shield the 19.
No, sorry, I can't, because that'll meet it and beat it.
You've got plus 1 AC from Song of Stone.
That's true.
Then I will shield it.
Okay, perfect.
That's great.
Song of Stone coming in clutch.
So this one, it flies past you,
although it bounces off the shield,
and when it impacts with the shield,
you see that it becomes this tangled mess of vines
and all sorts of like foliage as it tries to, like, wrap around you,
but it hits nothing and falls above.
That would have restrained you, which also...
Which wouldn't have worked because of freedom of movement.
He doesn't know, yeah, exactly.
Perfect.
Very good, very good.
But that's another, and then I think he's just like,
having fight that, he's then just gonna move up next to Daisy,
and he's just gonna fight Daisy basically.
He will, he puts his bow, he can swap weapons when he moves,
so he puts his bow away and pulls out his spear again.
That is gonna be a 24 to hit Daisy.
Yeah, I'll use my uncanny dodge.
So you're half the damage of this.
Unk dodge.
Oh, that's a fun noise.
I'd be happy with that.
Don't be happy with that.
You dropped a six, seven earlier.
Yeah, you did.
And we all amounted like crazy.
That's an advantage against Daisy.
So that's 25 piercing damage.
Yeah, cool.
So Haft would be 12.
Twelve.
And she has disadvantage on her next attack against him.
Okay.
As he uses the SAP weapon mastery.
Yeah, I think that's going to be his time.
Cool.
It's going to be his turn down.
Hmm.
Well done, Rex.
Xanthius.
Oh, fuck!
Well, I still cannot do a huge amount against him.
Forget not.
If thoust, you still have heroism.
You heal three temp HP every turn.
Heal three temp HP.
If he has more than three temp HP,
then he doesn't gain any.
Do I still have Barnock?
Yeah.
Key 10.
Save and all things.
You should have fucking used it.
Yeah, you should have fucking used it.
Fucking idiot.
Put your head up your own hand.
I will.
I've got a huge team play move right here.
Can I cast Death Ward on myself?
Smart move?
Yeah, love it.
Any movement?
So for anyone that's not aware of Death Ward,
any time I go down to zero, I regain one.
Immediately.
Would you add tuning movement?
Yeah, I want to do a 30 diagonal.
I want to basically
running back away from Daisy if he's gonna follow me.
Mm-hmm.
So I think I would then end up, what is that,
flying over, Gruff and...
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty, five, yeah.
Basically flying thirty feet above Gruffin Ophelia.
Okay, so he's staying thirty feet in the air.
You're not going any higher.
Um, and as a bonus action, I will again convert ruins.
Okay, perfect.
With sorcery points.
And that's my turn!
All right, Malady.
Trust me, once that shield is down.
Malady does not regenerate her fateability.
I think.
Ophelia, how far can you move with half your movement?
25.
Can you get to him with 25 feet of movement?
She could have given you like an extra hit against him,
but I don't think she can.
I think she'll just try and take out, try and finish off some of these shadows.
Yeah, it's a good idea.
It does nothing.
Yeah, she's just gonna manablast the Magus.
That's an actual 20.
20.
Oh, okay.
This is 3D10 Cantrip.
So 30.
30 plus.
So it's 44 points of damage.
She blasts this thing into nothingness.
Great.
Just with radiant light and blasts the Shadow Magus away.
No, it's just the sharpshooter.
Just the sharpshooter left.
And it is in fact the sharp shooter's turn.
Yeah, it is the sharpshooters turn.
Your draconic wings aren't concentration or anything, do they?
They're just, you're a trachonic feature.
Yeah, so you just keep them as long as you need to.
About ten minutes.
Okay.
Alrighty.
Yeah, I think that the marksman will...
Probably, I think he is going to...
Yeah, he's going to shoot at Xantheist.
12?
Misses.
21.
Hits?
Hits.
Yeah, that one hit.
That one hit.
for 11, 15 points more damage.
I'm gonna use a fate.
Okay, your last remaining one.
D12 plus my Rizzy Whiz.
Okay.
So reduce it.
Nice.
Nine.
So reduce it by nine, so you take six.
Great. Okay, okay, okay.
Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, thank you.
Cool, cool.
Ophelia.
Oh, I'm Shadowmarked.
Hi, um, cool.
Yeah, Ophelia's gonna chase this,
chase author.
Okay.
Okay. So you get your full movement.
You go into MLA.
Yeah, into MLA.
Okay.
And you're blinded.
I missed, did I miss him last time, okay?
You are blinded, so I would say you can go in his direction,
but yeah, you have disadvantage on all attacks while you are blinded.
At the end of your turn, you can repeat the saving through.
If I reckless, does that then make it?
Does that make it?
If you give yourself the advantage, it would be a straight roll.
I'm gonna do that then.
Okay.
With fate.
No fate to spend.
Rowan spent the last one.
That's okay, because it's a 20.
Manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest.
Manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest,
Manifest, manifest, manifest, 17.
That's not.
Wait, total.
If you said manifest three more times, it would have done.
That's your first attack.
Manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest,
manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest,
when you three, we're going for?
A Roonstone?
Yeah.
You will use his reaction to parry.
But it nearly struck him, but that is now used,
yeah, he's used his parry.
Okay.
So as you go to strike it, the first blow's a bit clumsy,
as you're swinging blind,
he doesn't think much of it,
but then he realizes that
actually your senses are a bit more honed,
like you're not just swinging blind,
and he's forced to like parry your way
from the run stone at the last second.
Cool, cool, cool.
Which is okay.
Great stuff.
It's fine, it's fine.
Alright, anything else on your turn?
If not we go to,
I'm gonna go off time,
because I'm gonna spend the late,
I'm gonna spend fate.
Why that was me?
Why always me?
Is you a threat?
I'm a blind old man.
You're a problem.
Me, I have a problem.
Tom Hazel or?
This whole thing is your fault.
I'm gonna spend one now.
I'm a victim here.
And I think he is gonna attack you,
Ophelia, he's gonna use his lunge.
He's not gonna move, but he's just gonna make
the weapon attack, basically.
Go, Frick, you have a vantage.
I do.
Cool, lunge.
Come on, that 20, here we go.
Do it, do it.
No, I didn't.
23 though.
Yep.
This is gonna be, oh, actually, yeah, I'm gonna do that.
He kicks you in the stomach.
Oh, hell yeah.
Oh, hell yeah.
Who runs.
Seven.
All right, 13 points of bludging damage,
only six, but then you gain the winded condition.
When did.
On your next turn, you basically either do nothing,
like you can spend an action to get rid of it,
or if you just choose to do your turn normally,
you'll gain an exhaustion level at the end of your turn.
Huh?
Yeah.
I've had wind in the entire time.
No, so it would have gone away.
You basically, you've got one level of exhaustion.
Okay.
You just did your turn as normal,
but then it goes away after you get the level of exhaustion.
Got it.
Okay.
So you have, we just need to remember
you've got a level of exhaustion.
That was at the end of a feeling's turn,
so Graschitz, now your turn.
Hello.
I would like to cast lesser restoration on myself,
which removes the condition blinded.
Yeah, it does, correct.
Oh.
And then I am going...
Love, lesser restoration, often overlooked,
but for things like this, it's perfect.
So Bardick doesn't do anything for me on an action.
Is lesser a bonus action or an action?
Bonus action.
Brilliant.
I've been staring in it for the last 20 minutes.
All right.
And then you have 40 feet of movement?
35.
but what I might do that you can get to him is another jump because I just want to get
that extra bonus advantage if I hit because I can I can do the jump and attack again I can
attack twice it was just I couldn't do it last time because it was held right and what is it
30 foot jump 20 5 10 15 20 20 20 20 foot won't get it so you have to move a little bit and
then jump yep you can yep okay I would like a fate you only have the one but yes
manifest manifest manifest manifest man you have a bardic
Don't forget, the bardic can be spent after the roll.
Yes.
If you fail the roll, you can add a barric to it.
Mm-hmm.
So it's better than fate.
Manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest.
Manifest, manifest.
11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22.
That will hit the rindstone because he cannot parry it.
Yeah, he's parried it.
Yeah.
He's parodephalia.
Sick.
Sick.
Nasty.
Bro.
So I guess.
Well, you could use the bardic.
Mm-hmm.
And that would give you extra.
No.
No.
I'm in there, I'm up in it.
No moat, no magic.
No, moat is magic.
That was what I said.
Moat is magic.
I get one D8 plus four and one D8 from jump.
Yeah.
And this is slashing damage.
12 points of slashing damage.
Is resistance, so it takes six.
I've slashed a roonstone before.
The runstone cracks, it's cracked further,
but still intact.
Manifest, second attack.
Manifest, manifest, manifest.
I don't know it.
10.
Why did you roll an extra D8?
Because that was gonna be my attack damage if I hit.
I should do it to save time, but now I told you it's just save time.
But no, I can't bar it.
No, I can bar it.
You can bar it?
It can do it after the roll.
10, 17, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24.
It's gonna hit the ringstone.
I rolled an eight, nine, 10, 11, 12 points of damage.
Six. Half to six.
That's 12 points total.
12, 15.
It's 12.
So we're, three more.
It's just, it's flickering, the field is like coming and go,
but it's strong enough that it's still active.
All right, but it is still in place.
But I hit, baby, and I can't do any of the like,
mountains war, I can't do any, I don't have fate anyway,
I can't do, I can't do primal strike, no, okay.
Very good though. Yes.
Done something, it's taken me two hours.
No, once the field goes down though,
it's gonna be big time.
Zankees is gonna be.
I am online.
That's when you ask for sovereign's help.
Bung.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm going to spend on the point.
I've got so much of it at the moment.
Why not?
I am going to, oh, you've both acted, but Daisy hasn't.
And I think that, like, this isn't much, but he's going to do this.
I'm going to use him that you're in my way.
So Daisy needs to make a strength savings throw.
Oh, okay.
Hey, don't worry, though.
Daisy has bark skin.
Daisy's got a strength saving throat.
And barkskin is down.
And barkskin is currently down.
Strength saving threat.
Oh, minus one, so 14.
14 is not enough.
He picks Daisy up and throws her into the tree behind her.
He basically moves her 20 feet.
If she impacts with a character or a piece of terrain,
oh, I could throw into each of you.
Spin around.
No, I think he'll throw into the tree.
If she collides with a terrain piece,
not only is she going to take damage,
she also gains the winded condition as well.
Oh, shit.
So he basically picks her up, throws her 20 feet
into this tree.
Fucking hell.
She's gonna take
the Odyssey trailer.
Six points of bludgeoning damage.
And then as she lands, she is now winded.
So again, on her turn, she has to choose to either spend
an action to get rid of it or act normally
in gaining exhaustion level.
Right. Okay.
That was at the end of Gruff's turn.
Rowan's turn.
Roe-Roh.
Rowan is going to Starry Wisp that crossbow should do.
Love it.
Yeah.
He's got advantage from Benedicto.
He does.
So is that plus seven.
With advantage?
Yes, uh, 20.
Oh yeah.
Three. Oh yeah, easy hit.
Wicked sick, sick and wicked.
3D8.
Yeah.
Two.
The hand trips do a lot of damage, especially on a...
Nine points.
Nine points in average.
Of radiant.
Perfect, yeah.
The wisp kind of,
burst away and some of the marks
and begins to turn to smoke and mist
as it's taken pretty significant damage.
How does Malady look?
Do you need healing?
No, I'm fine, I'm just getting it.
Benedict, do you need healing?
I'm fine, worry about yourselves.
Do you want the healing?
I could take some healing, Rowan.
Healing word, Xantheus, level four.
Okay, so that's 8D4 plus your...
That many dice.
Is that gonna be the end of your turn?
Yes, I'll just do this off.
Okay, perfect.
I will have Benedict to act.
Hoops, she can hop over that 10 feet.
She's right.
She will just move,
sort of almost trying to become a bit of a roadblock
for Effie tries to like charge towards that piece as well.
Unfortunately she does not have any sort of ranged attack or anything.
But I think...
Yacht sword, 29.
Oh, God, she's leaving that.
29.
Yeah.
Holy shit.
There's a little four, so.
It's a big, big boy.
It's the biggest boy.
She, and you just cast a spell.
She knowing that this, the sibling is after you, Xantheus.
Yeah.
She will hold up the sword and whisper a prayer
and basically cast a holy shield around you,
which gives you plus two AC.
Oh, fucking A.
It's kind of like a shield of faith,
modified shield of faith.
Plus the one from Song of Stone?
Yeah, yeah.
So you got a lot.
I've got like a million.
I just checked the stats.
Yeah, it is concentration, and it's a million.
If Malady is in danger, she'll probably drop it to put it on her,
but for the time being, enjoy your plus 2 AC.
Hell yeah.
Wicked.
Thank you.
Could I have moved?
Yes.
30 foot directly towards naughty man.
Nice.
You make that a bit like.
Yeah.
Perfect. It's Daisy's turn.
Alrighty.
She is winded.
I think I'm going to give Daisy the level of exhaustion.
Okay, so she's gonna act normally?
Yeah, I think she's.
She is in, well, no, she was throwing
So she is outside of, not outside of his thing, but like, because I think she's like thrown up against the tree.
But not in melee range. Yeah, yeah. Cool, cool, cool, cool. She could be.
Um, yeah, I think. Did she get sapped?
She can transform. No, she got the winded. Yeah. She can give sapped. Oh no, she did get sapped as well.
Because she got hit by the spear on the previous time. So she's disadvantaged on an ex-attack.
No, was that Ophelia who got sapped?
He got both because he stabbed Daisy as well.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
So she has disadvantage as well.
Okay.
So I could transform her weapon into...
Mele weapon.
Mele weapon.
I'm sure outside of the level.
I'm trying to finish off this.
But she has this advantage.
Mm-hmm.
Out of interest, the bonus action thing.
A steady aim.
The steady aim with neutral.
Stadey aim would neutralise the disadvantage, right?
Yeah.
But the extra attack that she's got with a bonus action.
Psychic blade.
Is that way less damage?
It's only a D4 and it's also magical.
Yeah, it's magic.
Oh, yeah.
You see that note in front of you there?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh!
Yeah, I think I'm just going to transform...
Rex has an anti-magic field?
Yeah.
I'm going to transform Lumeros into a spear form,
so she has a 10-foot reach.
Okay, nice.
And then, yeah, try it.
We'll still be in the field because it's 10 feet around him.
Yeah.
But yeah.
We'll just give her a little bit of distance.
Yeah.
Try and try and get this, the last of this gym.
Just three.
Yeah.
Just three damage.
That's all.
Just need to hit.
Well, six, technically.
He's not his turn so he doesn't have his parry.
I'll use the last fate as well.
Oh, okay.
Just three.
Manifest, manifest, manifest.
No.
Why?
I can get there.
18.
It's not enough.
Mm-hmm.
And she only gets the one attack.
Yeah.
So Daisy transforms.
Maybe it's the unfamiliarity of the spear.
The first time she's used this form, thrust it for,
but he glances it off his shoulder arm again.
Then I think I'll just have her move back.
Um, she has her wings, actually.
Could you lose what?
Mm-hmm.
Do we do.
Oh no, Lucky gives it fun to.
Yeah.
Yeah, so she has a wings, so I'll get her to move backwards out of his range,
basically, and just out of the way.
Do you want her up in the air?
Up in the air, please, yeah.
Okay. How high?
Um, let's see.
Let's do, let's do 30 feet, same as Zan.
30 feet up in the air.
Yeah, because he can jump.
Yeah, okay, yeah,
because I'd say that the wings would come back online
once he was out of the anti-metric field.
Yeah. Yeah, cool.
Okay, that's my turn.
Okay, after Daisy's turn,
I'm going to spend two points of fate
for Rex and F.
Xanthius is 30 feet up in the air.
Yeah, about 30 feet away from him.
He needs to get to you.
and there's one way he can do that.
No, but no.
From his belt, he pulls out some sort of like injector
that has some sort of alchemical mixture.
Oh my God.
He puts it into his neck as he activates adrenal stem.
This gives him a number of benefits
until the end of his next turn,
and his next turn, and his turn is now.
He is then, on his turn, he is going to...
He's a dragon board.
He's got wings, probably.
He doesn't have wings.
He doesn't have wings.
Oh.
He has to chug the equivalent of Red Bull, though.
He's jumping.
Jump it's 40.
40?
That's a bigger jump.
That's a big jump.
You watch as from a standing position,
he just crouches down and leaps propelling himself in the air.
You will technically get opportunity attacks against him.
Okay.
And this is gonna matter.
Can opportunity attacks hit room?
They can try.
Yeah.
Has he had used both reactions this round?
He gains his reactions back at the start.
He's got two reactions.
But he can only parry once.
So both are just need to make.
Can I fate mine, please?
You can fate yours.
Grafie, are you going to fate yours?
I've already done the roll, so.
Mother fucking don't.
I'm guessing that to miss from Rihanna.
You spent the bardic.
I spent the bardic.
You both miss?
19.
15.
The Rune.
It would have hit him but doesn't hit the Rune.
And 15 doesn't hit.
He leaps.
launching himself through the air.
You almost see his muscles bulge,
his eye flaring as that adrenal stim runs through his system,
as Xanthias, he gets next to you,
and as soon as that anti-magic fits,
your wings disappear,
you are going to fall 30 feet immediately.
So you take eight points of bludgeoning damage.
I don't even cushion my fall.
Well, I think that what he is,
is going to strike you mid-air
and then follows up after you.
There you go.
So he will also take the falling damage.
So he then takes 15 falling damage.
He lands directly on the room and dies.
He does not.
I'm just spam all these things.
Go in the bin.
Get in the bin.
Manifest.
No, they're done, they're dead.
He's then going to attack Xanthius three times.
Huh!
Really?
Are you prone?
You do fall prone, yeah.
He does not.
Also, my runes are down.
Yeah.
Also, I lost all of my AC bonuses.
Yep.
Is it.
He has advantage, because you operate.
28 on the first one.
28.
Yeah.
So, just so you roll where?
Uh-huh.
Unless he rolls two ones with the advantage.
It's going to hit me.
Uh-huh.
But you're looking for 20s, aren't you?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Of course I am.
That's the mechanics of the game.
I am advanced.
After all, so.
Any 20s?
Not on that first attack.
Idiot.
You're also prone, so he has advantage, so he gets his extra damage.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
28.
34 points of damage on the first attack.
Oh, bud.
You still up?
That's for me to know, and for you to...
Well, I know. I need to know if you're at zero.
I'm not at zero.
Okay, second attack with advantage.
No 20s, still hits.
Roll a 20, forehead.
Roll a 20, forehead.
Roll a 20.
You're dancing a dangerous dance here, son.
28 piercing damage on the second attack.
You down?
Is he still gonna attack a third time if I was?
I need to know if you're down.
You need to inform the DM if you're down.
Legally, you have to.
Legally you have.
I am down.
You get arrested. Check your contract.
I am downed.
I am downy down.
Down, down.
Downs.
That is that's, down.
That is, that an attack.
You will stab it into you, causing two
immediate death saving throws.
Zantis.
Death save fails.
That is the end of his turn.
Now, there is some benefit because when at the end of his turn,
oh no, sorry, it's the following turn.
You can see that adrenal stim is still in his system,
but it looks like the star of his next turn,
he's going to have effects that are going to, like,
basically he's going to have a retributive effect,
because the stim has only lasted for a few seconds.
However, it is then Xanthius' turn immediately after him.
Fait your throat.
You have one fate left.
I mean, I have to fake too.
Do you have your Fyola?
My Fyola, I think I've used.
I have my Fyot.
I actually do have my Fyot.
You have Death Ward.
You have Death Ward.
I'm in his aura.
You're in his aura.
Can I hand this up?
Which also means the Fiola won't work, because it's a death ward.
It's a magical item.
Oh my god.
So this is just a pure, but you can fate it.
You can do it.
Fake.
Stop, wrecks.
Yeah, no, it's true.
Even I forgot.
Manifest, manifest.
Manifest.
I mean, should I just check the words
Net20?
Or like.
No, no, it's a spell.
It does a magic.
Just do it at 20.
Forehead.
But I can fate it.
You can fate it.
You remember you need a 10 or higher
to, you know, not be bad.
What's you can roll as a four?
10 or higher?
To not get a failure.
If I roll a failure.
If I roll a Nat 1, what happens?
You die.
It fails.
Okay, if I roll anything other than the Nat 1,
including the fate dice, I will be okay
because I have plus 8 to my constitution.
You don't add constitution to a death saving 3.
It's just a straight roll.
It's a straight roll.
I forgot that.
Yeah.
Why do I think it was that?
Just don't roll 1, roll the 20.
But the thing is, so the thing is,
if you roll the 1, it would be 2 death saving throws.
If you add fate, you can only get a minimum of 2.
That's still one death saving throw
and he's only got one left.
So he needs like to get above 10 with fate basically,
to not die this round.
But also, I will then remind you,
you can't heal Zan until he's out of the anti-magic
or you destroy the anti-magic.
Can I just use my reaction to just accept the gift from sovereign?
Do you like to you?
Oh, come on.
The ruins are down.
You still barely conscious know that he is listening.
He's waiting.
God, you're going to die.
That's the thing I know I am.
I just don't know if it will bypass this.
Like, in my fading cognitive state,
I probably wouldn't push back.
Well, he's not offering anything,
but you could ask for something.
But you have to ask.
You almost get the sense that he's waiting.
I mean, I'm laying on the...
You see Rex is above you.
And I think Rex looks down,
He's just, I'm sorry, little brother,
but this is for the best.
It'll be easier this way.
And he's pulling the spear back.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm looking up at him, pulling the spear back,
ready for it to like come back down onto me.
But like, my focus isn't on him.
It's on a distant object far, far into the sky.
We see the broken moon, almost like a halo around wrecks up in the sky with the pieces breaking away.
His glowing eye staring down at you.
And even before the spear would come down, like the vision is flickering as I am slowly like closing my eyes.
And I will ask for help.
What do you say?
Zanthius.
You've got to roleplay this with me.
It's a very weak, but definite.
Like, do I need to ask you for a specific thing,
or is it just?
You role play, you tell me what you're saying.
I accept your gift.
My friend.
Zanthias, with your runes down,
you feel a power, surgery.
You felt this power once before,
when it took your life.
But this is the opposite,
where that was like a chilling,
grasping hand clutching you,
squeezing the life out of you,
something oddly necrotic about it.
This time it feels like fire and radiance,
light and life.
As that ember of your heart is stirred,
you do not need to make a death saving.
You are at one hit point.
Great.
And then you watch as your sleeve and your shoulder burst,
not into flames, but because the musculature
and all the spikes of your arm,
as armoured spikes and scales begin to warp and twist and mutate.
This is magic, but it's not being stopped by the anti-magic field.
This is the crown seal mutating your body somehow in this field.
Oh.
Oh, that's the thing.
There's a thing.
Okay.
Oh.
This is temporary.
This will go away,
but when needed,
you may be able to call on it again.
Wow.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
The attack bonus is coming from your constitution modifier.
Can I, from the ground,
with that arm then,
just as...
It can be bludgeoning as well as slashing.
As I'm standing, I will just turn it into a fist
and just thrust it into the crystal.
Going to go for the reenstein.
It's a melee weapon.
It's a melee weapon.
I'll read the rest to everyone.
So it's the enhanced crown steel arm.
Melly weapon plus 8 to hit 1D8 plus 4 slashing or bludgeoning.
My AC becomes 18.
Oh my God.
And I gain 20 temporary HP.
Holy shit
but at what cost
at what cost
probably none cost
no cost
this is your friend
none cost
yeah probably none cost
I'm alive
but it is the start of your turn
I just need to see
I need to well
are you spending fate
uh I'm spending it
sorry I'm spending it on
oh did you roll to see
what your death saving throw was
what was it
I would be dead
I rolled
I rolled the
a seven and a one on the face.
Okay.
So, I had to know, I had to know.
You had to know, I'm glad we knew.
Right.
So, yeah, I will fade the attack on that Chris.
Sure.
Plus eight to hit.
Uh, uh, mm-hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, plus eight.
13 plus eight is 21.
With one fate.
22.
So 22.
Has he taken his turn?
He has had his turn.
Okay.
He's not used his reaction.
He would.
So you, the fist comes up, and I think that in this moment,
he just spins, like, the strike that was about to plunge into you,
he now has to reverse, and he sees this arm and he looks at you.
And his expression changes.
Zanthias, what have you done?
What I need to do?
And with that, Zanthias, I mean, it's still your
turn, you've used your action to attack, you have movement and a bonus action.
Yes. So it's the arm itself is the magical thing that's persisting, right?
It's not magic, like basically the crown seal in your chest, something happened to it
that has basically sped up your mutation temporarily it seems. It's given you like a temporary
mutation burst. So that doesn't seem to be magical. The actual mutation itself, it's
It's more biological.
Cool.
But maybe it is magic
and somehow
sovereign is overcoming it,
but...
Okay, so since I'm still within
the anti-magic,
I will...
I mean, I don't really want to move.
You may as well stand up
because you don't want to stay proud.
I'm definitely standing, yeah.
And, yeah, I mean,
can I use my bonus action
to generate the runes for when I am outside the field?
Yeah, okay.
But the reason that your AC goes up
by the way, is like all of these spikes
have almost formed like an armored plate along that arm.
So you're almost using it like a shield,
like kind of holding it up to like defend yourself
and that's why your AC's higher.
Very cool.
End of turn.
End of turn.
End of turn.
Turn, turn, turn, done.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh, that's a bad idea.
Yes, they are.
That was a bad idea, but I'm alive.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
So systemality will look over and seeing all of this.
And I think that...
It kills Antheists.
Kills Antheis.
She can't heal him because he's in the anti-magic field.
But can see that the rune stone is nearly destroyed.
And I think that her sister is nearby.
She will just say,
Benedicta, help them destroy the stone.
and she will use her empowered attack bonus action
to allow an ally within 60 feet
to move up to half their speed
and make a melee attack.
Very nice.
Benedict will step up
and will make an attack against the run stone.
Do it fate to spend,
but she does get a bonus to the hit roll,
a plus five bonus because it's Malady's intelligence.
So it's like almost Malady directing Benedicta.
You almost maybe see like shadowy puppet strings
out of her hands that seem to almost flow out
from Benedict's shoulders.
and she's gonna make that attack.
16 plus 8, 24.
Okay, unpariable.
Parry. Yeah.
So the Great Sword comes smashing in
and is, I mean, even on a minimum damage,
even resisted is gonna be enough
to do the three points thanks to you guys.
So you watch as the Great Sword smashes in,
the last few fragments of this runstone disintegrating.
As it does get destroyed,
you do see that the magic that was holding it together
has some sort of retributive strike,
and it's very good that maybe Xanthia didn't hit it
because as it hits her,
she does take some damage in retribution.
I mean...
I mean, I rolled very well,
but it's 15 points of damage to Benedicta
as she sort of struck by this damage.
As there's a blast of magical energy kind of erupting,
but you watch as that field vanishes.
Your runes, Zanthius, they come back online.
And you just see Benedicta just sort of lower into a guard
sort of next to you.
Just say, it's time to pay for you and your father.
You're coming with us and answering our questions, heretic.
Very cool.
That is Malady's turn.
That was her bonus action,
which means that she has her action
and now he's open to attack.
But also, Xanthius is in desperate need.
And I think she'll look over to you,
gruffeth. Healing, can you do it?
It's all I'm good for.
Right. You can see Maldi is looking very unwell,
and she will just turn up and just be like,
all right, I can't keep this up long, but it should help.
Holds out her hands, and you see the area,
about 40-foot area around Malady,
the shadows elongate, and almost like this phantom forest,
and phantom fauna begins to, like,
to life, manor zone, moonlit realm, as she's going to activate her manor zone ability as her
action. And Gruff, you get this immediate sense, and wrong because you can do healing magic as well.
You get the sense that, like, Malady can now boost healing magic as well as reduce radiant
and accruity. I mean, she can actually enhance healing magic in this place as she activates that.
But that is going to be us out of time.
Whoa.
The last turn.
What a hell.
as we start round six.
I didn't think this was going to be a multi-episode fight,
but I think those dice rolls early on.
You didn't have the faith that we rolled terribly.
I didn't have the fact.
I mean, we can keep playing,
but I'm assuming you guys want to go home.
Look, the field is down.
Now we can go to work.
Zampheus is cool now.
I mean, Zandhi's got a cool arm.
I will point out he is not very hurt today.
No, no.
No, we've done nine damage to him still.
No, you've done more than that.
You did 15 points damage to himself.
That's true.
But no, yeah, the anti-magic field is down.
He is now susceptible to your spells.
He'll have any more ruins, does he?
He does not seem to have any more runes on him.
I will say, if you were to look at him,
he does seem to have another one of those vials at his belt.
He also has one more of those flash bombs,
and he has the arrows in his quiver as well.
Seven more arrows, yeah.
That's just phased,
one okay he's gonna unleash something else I mean basically I mean basically
just think about it you're talking to your dice what you've done today yeah better
what you haven't done yeah exactly you let me down but I mean some close calls I
know a few of you are quite injured Zanciate I mean Zanfreyas was so close I mean
had I have rolled it I would have that would have been it so yeah I had to question
mark had to question um spicy is interesting though but here you know you're super spicy I'm
That's going to be it for today's episode.
Thank you so much for joining us, everyone.
Very nice, very nice.
It's brutal, but it is very fun.
Yeah, perfect. Well, I'm glad it's spot.
Especially after the last four combats we have
where we have just eviscerated people.
Well, listen, the Stone Elemental was meant to be a tough fight
and then pushed him off of the mountains.
What?
Because fucking tidal wave is a deck saving throw,
and the brutal strike doesn't even let you have a saving throw.
But anyway, that is going to be it for today's episode.
Thank you so much for joining us.
We'll see you next time, everybody.
Take care.
Goodbye.
