The party ventured through a mysterious portal found in the Sahogun Caves at the bottom of the ocean.
They arrived in a strange crystal room with signs of Starbane Empire technology.
A curious Nova opens a series of metal shuttles to reveal that they are on some kind of structure
floating in astral space above Erois and within a debris field of broken starships.
Alongside this revelation, both Helios and Tiangong feel the presence of a corrupted
Eterna coming from below, along with the sound of music. Exploring further, it is revealed that the
doors of this citadel only open to Aayla, who has no memory or understanding of why. The structure
is an astral citadel called Aegis V, and seemed to be some sort of staging ground for Starbane's troops.
It is abandoned with no sign of life and large parts of the ship broken and destroyed.
Exploring deep into the heart of the Astral Citadel, the party find the Eterna's power core
at the bottom of a large cylindrical shaft, where the Sahagin High Priestess appears to be praying
to the corrupted Eterna called Silveredge.
However, the Priestess transforms and reveals herself to be an Eladrin who works for the Starbane Diplomatic Corps.
She taunts the party and rebuffs their claim to know Kallus, and a fight begins.
And that is where we kick off today.
Aayla, for Aayla's relevance, there's quite a lot of stuff that happened.
One of the other things you found is you found some sort of strange
medical room where there were these
kind of containment
units or like glass chambers
and Aayla had a very
strong recognition on them, had memories
of being inside one long ago.
But like as an adult, not as a child.
Yes, as an adult, not as a child.
And was somewhat stunned but then was
quickly ushered on to do more uh and i believe uh sansara uh who is the eladrin who revealed
herself to be the uh priestess in disguise um has summoned forth two strange flying mechanical
creatures um and then a laser grid sprung out of the ceiling and
proceeded to kind of blast
along in these four columns of light
throughout the chamber itself.
And that was where we left things off last week.
And I believe the only person who was
hit was Sentry.
So let's kick this off proper, shall we?

nice so uh we jump in lucius is actually uh the very top of the round uh the laser grid will go
first and then it'll go to lucius okay you also have a shield of faith on you as well so to set
the scene uh it is a large pretty much a square or rectangular crystal room.
At one end is the containment chamber, which houses Silver Edge,
inside of which you can see this kind of warped and twisted battle axe
that is turned black and smokes with energy.
It seems to be in some sort of like separate chamber,
which Sentry is currently pummeling
with radiant energy from her moonbeam.
And you can see the glass on the containment field
is beginning to crack as she does so.
Sansara and her drones are off in one corner.
Aayla has already pressed the attack a little bit,
so has Sentry,
but not a lot of damage has been dealt so far.
So Lucius, what would you like to do?
If I remember correctly, last time I cast Elemental Bane on her.

So, and that was cold?
I'm assuming you would have used one of your Daikomancy options.

In which case, I'm going to do a Chromatic Orb at level 3, cold.

nimbly, or fifteen I think, she nimbly
dodges. She has the grace of a
dancer and as you kind of throw out
this orb, she just pirouettes
and pivots in place, spinning to the side
as the cold orb smashes against the crystalline
walls of the cylinder around you.

her hands and you can tell whenever she
starts singing, one of the two drones is
amplifying her voice from wherever it is

going to take nine radiant damage and the next attack against you has advantage shit cool um
rock and roll as you do that uh after century it's the assault red drones turn so that was its reaction now it's going to take its turn it will fly kind of in between the two of you in fact actually no it won't
it will kind of hover about five feet back and then it will take a shy Ayla
who's just taken a big hit towards its owner I'm gonna react against it I think
five feet away yep give disadvantage okay So that would have been an 18.
