sun's light uh far far to the south but as the the drop ship semi sinks into the mud the soft earth that has been piled up on this island um with a kind of wet squelch. And you all emerge from it. And if you go on roll 20, there is a map. And you can immediately see a large pond with sort of wooden structures, some sort of stone. Oh, I've not moved you. That's my fault. There we go.

And you might want to scroll and zoom out a little bit, Chris Trott. I've also given you, Chris Trott, a control of a camera icon. Oh, my God. If you might want to scroll all the way down. Yes. Okay. There you are.

So, yeah, you can see it's quite extensive. There are these kind of long pools all over the place. Seems to be some sort of stone pond in the middle of this uh swampy puddle um and yeah this risen up stone temple in the very middle with a couple of other buildings and you also see that it is populated that this island does have creatures on it because as you land you can see in the temple, the stone temple, and a couple of them further behind. A group of frogmen. They stand on two legs. They wear rough spun tunics

made of kind of thick mossy-like hides and cloth, almost looks like sail cloth that's been cut and tied. They're about the size of people. They're not tiny frogs. They are like full frogs they're about as tall as some of you, maybe a little bit shorter and they have crude looking

weapons and they are looking very puzzled in your direction but they don't appear to be taking any sort of aggressive stance just yet just kind of looking more curiously. What on earth? What on earth are those creatures? They have weapons, so they're intelligent.

Do you think they speak? Common. The common. Common is a language, yes. Let's try the age-old putting our hands up in a... A couple more of them kind of emerge from the side of a building, kind of stick their thick, green, kind of slimy heads around, their bug eyes kind of...

As they kind of look around. Let's try and look as non-threatening as we can, everybody. One of them... One of them moves up to the edge of the water and is kind of moving towards the bridge and is looking your way. And yeah, you hear it just call out like, Who are you?

What are you? Hello. Where have you come from? An airship. We came from an airship. It kind of turns around, hops up the sloped hill, and calls to... You can see in the back of turns around, hops up the sloped hill and calls to, you can see in the back of this temple,

kind of in the distance, you can see sat in a large pond, a very overweight, almost covered in boils and scars, a very overweight looking frog man, clutching something kind of like a long spear but it's all covered in in like a cloth and a fabric like it's been tied up um and you just hear it kind of it's a big kind of like cheeky bit kind of expands as it lets out this loud croak um

bring them to see gloom ships do not go on the air they go on the water bring them to sea, Gloobor. Ships do not go on the air. They go on the water. Bring them to sea, Gloobor. Very good, very good, Lord Gloobor. And it bounces over. You are to come and speak with Lord Gloobor. Cut! Bring no weapons, oh we will get you

very well come on everybody um well we're not going to leave our weapons now we're going to just not have them out that's. You see it kind of turn its head back into the temple. The big fat one is like, they pose no threat to us. We pose no threat to them. Perfect. Okay.

We'll sludge through, I guess. So on the map, those of you that can see the map, anywhere that's kind of brown and shaded is this bog-like mud and it's like a proper your feet kind of sink in and you have to really like uh pull them free so it counts as difficult terrain in terms of like any movement so it does take you a little bit of time for me not me. Not for Ayla, I know.

But anybody who is affected by default terrain, you really have to kind of like, it takes twice as long to make your way out of this thick mud. The water looks blackish with kind of tinges of green algae floating around in it. It's very swamp-like, this area. A couple of the frogmen begin hopping their way over. So you guys just approach.

Yeah, just slowly trudging our way through. Lucius is tutting. It's just going to take so long to rinse off. It really will. It really, really will. Did you ever do your own laundry? That's not the point.

As you begin making your way over the bridge, you see that behind the temple, there is two more large ponds and pools in which sit two giant frogs. They are enormous, the size of bison and they're just kind of sat in the pool um just kind of looking around snatching at a few flies

but yeah they're looking around the two that you meet um at the end of the bridge these two frog men they appear to be wearing like hide armor kind of thickened leather tattered covered in scraps of all sorts of things really bark and tree mixed in with a little bit of metal that seems to have been sort of bent and fused to it by some sort of glue they carry wooden shields ramshackle as they are and they have uh crude spears um but they kind of just march uh with you, leading you to a small wooden gangway that leads up this kind of sloped gravelly hill into the larger temple. They just kind of shuffle,

they kind of just gesture up and remain where they are. You will go and see Lord Gloomor. Very well. Straight visitors from the Owl. You should be honoured to be in Lord Gloomor. Very well. Straight visitors from the out. You should be honoured from the end Lord Gloomor's presence. Oh, good. As we're walking along, can I messenger

ring Nova and just ask, like, is there any update on the shard? Is it near here? Please don't tell me he has it. Oh, 100%. It's the thing he's holding in his hands. You can sense it coming from it. It's wrapped up so you can't see the Tiangong shard, but it looks to be

about the size and shape of a spear. And Tiangong will tell you. Shard. Okay. I'm just... I'll tell you at the end of the episode. I'm just, yeah, messengering. I'll just kind of... Oh.

Hurry. Do not keep Lord Gloom waiting. Oh, yes, absolutely, yeah. See a few more of the frogmen begin just kind of making their way round, curious as to these shenanigans. When you get into the main temple, you can see it's overgrown with thick foliage, mushrooms, all sorts of vegetables have been grown here. There is a crude shrine carved to resemble a giant toad that these frogmen appear to be worshipping. And one in particular is holding up a long spear-like object and is holding it up to this

toad god that they appear to be worshipping. In the back of the room, you can see that there is a pile of gold, some sacks, a worn-looking treasure chest that looks waterlogged, covered in a few barnacles and things like that, and sat in this large pool like a sauna is just this fat frogman. So, visitors from the air, why have you come to the Drifting Isle? You have entered Lord Gloobar's realm. I'm looking around at who's gonna be the most diplomatic here.

Can you speak my language, air people? Or are you too primitive to understand language? Um... Uh... Or are you too primitive to understand language? We heard great tales of the magnificent Lord Gloobort, and we thought you would come to make tribute. Very well.

What tribute have you brought one gloom or do a Oh. Why do you waste Lord Gloom more time? Where is my gift? I have a wondrous item that can conjure monsters and animals as if by magic from the very air. And then I'll... Your kind is so primitive, you do not understand magic. Likely a small trick. Perhaps if you are lucky, if you entertain Lord Glooball, I shall show you my magic.

Okay, I'll take out the pipe of smoke monsters that I've never used before and had since 2017 and start conjuring, I guess, little frog creatures that look like them. And then, yeah, let me just double check if I can... Can I get them? A single creature.

So I can summon a Frogamoth? What the hell is a Frogamoth? But yeah, sure. Frog. Giant frog. Giant smoke frog. One foot smoke frog. Are you summoning the Frogamoth or a giant frog?

Whatever looks closest to King, Lord... Probably... I mean, you don't know what a frogamoth is, so I guess you would just make a giant frog. So yeah, you summon a giant frog, and he kind of looks at it, he's just like,

a most amusing trick. This is a petty trick, but your tribute is sufficient. Attendant! And he kind of waves a big floppy finned hand in your direction, and a smaller frogman

kind of hops and hops over to you like I will take this full old gloom off his little hands. I'll take it off the pipe, sure. Very good, and he kind of takes it and hops back and hands it to lord glooball who kind of examines it and then throws it behind him into his treasure pile oh my god well we have brought the most thing. Is that all you wish for? It's a land of berries. What else?

Why have you, is this all? You have come to offer me this pipe of smoke monster? We heard that you have a magnificent weapon demonstration of its powers I don't know something like that yeah make a deception check for me. Deception check. I have a plus five on that. Eighteen plus five. Eighteen, nineteen, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three. It is true. It seems the tales of Lord Gloomore have traveled far and wide. I command the most mighty weapon recovered from under the sea.

But it is not for just anyone to see it perhaps you should stay as guests and if you are honored by our lord Krokatoa then then perhaps you will be allowed to see my weapon and all the little frogmen that have been gathered

outside when he says the words Krokatoa they all go crocotoa is that who the statue is of up there yes a global metal woman is very perceptive it is indeed lord crocotoa that you see it wasn't oh it's very magnificent. You are wise. You are wise to worship Lord Crocoteur. He is very powerful.

I only hope one day for us to truly be honoured by Crocoteur. Well, if you remain for our dinner, perhaps you will be honoured by him. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay as guests. Ayla's just going to say in the earring i literally cannot stop staring at the wall right now because if i look at any of them i will burst out laughing and or

make fun of them heavily so i'm just gonna stare at the wall and try not to move it's also uh it stinks this whole island just reeks of rot and just swampy gas it smells like farts everywhere um it's a very stinky place and it's very putrid the floor is covered in like mud and muck, Lucius. So if you do go to sit down, it's very difficult to find anywhere where it's not going to completely cover your trousers. I spent a long time kind of like a cat trying to find the best part of the floor, just rotating around.

No, no. Okay. Here. Squelch. Sure. Yeah sure yeah you find a seat the uh frogmen outside begin to kind of um kind of bring down and you see them one of them fetches and starts bringing these very strange ripe uh purple and green fruits that grow on the trees here. They're all misshapen. They have lumps in weird places. But as you all begin to take your seats,

you can position yourselves in the temple, wherever you would like. The frog attendant who took the pipe hurries to the front of you all, wherever you sit, and will begin a performance once you have all taken your seats. Um,

another one of the frogs, uh, makes his way up and begins bringing around these, like, carved pieces of fruit. Um, and it smells very sweet.

Very, very saccharine sweet, um, as you do so. Mmm. Where's everyone sitting? Who wants to sit next to, next to Lord Gloobor? So Nova goes and sits sort of just below Lord Gloobor?

Yeah. Somewhere like that. Yeah. Is this some sort of mat? Straw mat or something? I mean, you're not quite sure what it's made from. It is the closest thing to a cloth, you're not quite sure what it's made from. It is the closest thing to a cloth, you can see.

Maybe like tree fibers or like straw that's been woven together, but it is still just as filthy. It's covered in sort of like froggy mud prints everywhere. The fruit is kind of offered to you all as the little attendant frog

begins kind of singing, but it's like a chirping, like frogs in a swamp all kind of singing together. This kind of mesmerizing chirp begins to kind of echo from its voice. Can you all make a wisdom save for me, please? Oh. Interesting.

You will close by. One, two. Plus nine, I got twelve. You should get plus three, too. Oh, yeah. I think everybody but Ayla does. Yeah, so Ayla doesn't get a bonus. 10 feet, yeah.

Yeah, no, it's the song itself. The fruit is offered to you, and you hear Lua Gloob like, this cocktail of fruit from our island. It is very delicious. Thank you. So generous. Yeah, they give it to you, a slice, a slice of this very sweet-smelling fruit. You know what? I'm warming to this place. I dip my hand into it and pull out some of that juicy slurp. Yep. Shove it in. Sure.

Anybody else eating it? Just Lucius? I shall eat some. Okay, Century, it's it. Century, you don't need to eat, do you? But you're gonna just like partake in it, Just Lucius? I shall eat stuff. That's what I mean. Yeah, Nova's a polite girl. I'm very relaxed. Are me and Ayla hearing a totally different song? No, it's the same song, but it's just to you. It's like a very soothing, almost like a totally different song no it's the same song but it just yeah it's just to you it's like a very soothing almost like a cicada jungle noise like something you might put on like in the background when you're trying to fall asleep

I thought they were hearing like a siren song and we were just hearing it's like a kind of chirping like a continuous chirping coming from this frog but it sounds like cicadas in like the, or like, you know, it sounds quite nice. It's relaxing.

But it doesn't have as much of a pronounced effect on you as it does clearly on them. Yeah, Nova, you eat some as well. Ayla, Quill, gonna eat the fruit? No. I think she's still looking at, she's trying not to make eye contact

with any frog because she will just burst out laughing in their face anybody who's eaten the very strange mysterious frog fruit, can you please make a intelligence saving throw with disadvantage please oh no

the song's chilling you out. Oh! Oh! I definitely passed. Oh, shit. 16 was my lowest. 16 was your lowest, okay. Nova?

Three was my lowest, so five. All right. Okay. Five. Century and Nova. Man, colors are getting really bright. Like, everything seems really, really vibrant. And this song is just so relaxing.

And, man, wait, hang on. Is that? These frogs, like, their skin skins shifting and dancing, man. Like, it's... You are tripping pretty hard on these... Yeah. Lucius. You look like the universe.

You're so pretty. Wait, who's the universe? I don't think I've met him. Now that you have partaken in our island's fruits and you have enjoyed the song of my people, now it is time to see if you are worthy of being honored by Krakatoa.

Krakatoa, Krakatoa, Krakatoa. Krakatoa. Krakatoa, man, yeah! Krakatoa! Very well. We must go down to his sacred pod. Come, bring our guests. And all the frogs begin making their way.

And even Lord Gloobor pulls himself from the pond and is kind of ushering you guys all forwards down towards the pond. Let's go, Sentry, Nova, come on. I can see every colour in the existence of the world. I just wonder with the primes

like you know so much sometimes and it's there's a lot happening right now like oh man what

Where am I going? He kind of takes your hand, this slimy wet hand, pulls you over towards the pond. And then Lord Gloobor raises his, you know, wrapped up staff to the air. Oh, Lord Kokotawa, this one wishes to be blessed by your presence

to see if they are worthy of witnessing Lord Gloobor's mightiest weapon. They have imbibed the sacred fruits. They have listened to our frog song. Now we await your appearance. Sentry, you don't need to put your hands up. We await your appearance. Sentry, you don't need to put your hands up. Those of you who are not completely out of your minds,

Lucius, you still feel very relaxed and chilled out, but you are not as hallucinogenic as the other two. The waters on the stone pool begin to shift and you begin to see something bubbling and emerging from under the surface and in a giant spray of water a enormous creature

appears it is perhaps 15 foot tall with four tentacles and a long rolling ton and three ice stalks on the top of its head with a giant gaping mouth. You have summoned Crocotele, a worthy sacrifice. And we are going to roll initiative.

No! No! No, I did not consent to this. to roll initiative. No! No! No! I did not consent to this! The frogmen of the Drifting Isle have a sacrifice and they are hungry. Nom nom nom nom. I did not consent!

So is this a frogamoth? This is indeed a frogamoth. Yes. So what would have happened if I'd summoned a frogamoth. Yes. Oh my god. So what would have happened if I'd summoned a Frogamoth from the place? They might have thought

that it was Lord Crocotele. Lucius, total initiative, please. I got a six... 22, sorry. 22. Quillacad, come on. Sentry and Nova, you have disadvantage on the initiative.

You basically count as poisoned. So you have disadvantage on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. What if I... What if I'm resistant to poison? Are you resistant or immune? Resistant to poison. Then I will say...

Go on. Oh, no, no. It's just... It says magical creations. Oh, it's because it's me. I'm a magical creation, never mind. I'd say maybe you can make a, on your turn, at the start of your turn, make another saving throw against the effect. I'm the magical creation, never mind. It does make sense that you would be less affected by this than other beings, but make another saving throw on the start of your turn. Oh, you play one?

All creations, like me? Quilek. Ooh! Nine. Nine. Nine. Aayla? Twenty. Twenty. Sentry? That's a ten. Nova?

Fifteen. Okay. Well, Lucius, you react first. You see this giant thing like emerge and one of its giant tongue is reaching out towards nova who's looking up at it um nope nope nope none of this i'm going to wall of ice and just create a wall around this frogamoth. Okay. Well, you can make... How tall is the wall? 10 feet high.

This thing is 15 feet tall. Yep. It is a huge creature. So you can still do it, but it will be able to reach over. Can I create a wall that's twice as high and not as wide? Well, what does the spell

say? What does the spell say you can do? I'll make a... That's up to 10 feet. If it's the same as Wall of Light, it's 60 foot long, 10 feet high, 5 foot thick. Thick, yeah. And you can choose any orientation.

It's just whether you can stack them on top of each other. It doesn't really specify. I'll keep it as is. So I'm just going to create a hindrance for it. Sure, just draw it on the map as you want to. And then take your move and bonus action as you desire. Very well.

Meanwhile, I'm going to do the next couple of things, the next thing to go. This thing's movement speed is 30 feet, so... Yep, hops here. And picks a man up. Any movement or bonus action, Lucius? I'm going to move closer towards Nova, but I'm making this thing right now, so...

Sure, okay, but you're going to move closer to Nova. Ayla, you're next up, and then the next one of you to go will be Nova after a lot of monsters. I will rage, and then get to hitting,

I think, because, you know, this isn't going to go well. I think I'm just going to hit the dude that's right next to me. think, because you know, this isn't going to go well. Yeah, so you see all of these little frogmen that had been chanting Krokotoa, they're all pulling out things like stone knives and stone axes from beneath these kind of

flappy, leathery tunics that they were wielding, like little murderous cultists. They're like, So I'll hit that boy next to me then. So first one is an 18 to hit. Yep, that hits him. Solid crack of the hammer. And the second one is a 23.

That will also hit. Excellent. So. 11 on the first hammer swing. Okay. He dies. Okay. You hit this tiny frog man.

This tiny frog man, you hit him with an upswing of the hammer He flies through the air, his little neck Broken as he lands amongst The rocks and dies Can I redirect my second swing? You will have to make another attack roll, but yes you can So do you want to move to like it?

Actually no, it would be the same Yeah, you move to that guy And then, what was it? the same to that yeah dude yep yep you move to that guy and then what was it seven eight nine nine eleven thirteen damage smash him against the wall wham plus a zap bam i mean the zap like yeah i mean i don't think anything's in range for you but yeah like these things just crumple under the hammer blow and you see Lord Gloobor like kill them quickly they are stronger than we thought I think Aayla is yeah

before she started attacking she probably finally let out a little bit of a laugh because they're so ridiculous it's like ha ha ha ha frogmen you're so ridiculous. It's like, frog men. You're so dumb. Two of the Bollywoods are dead. The others will run away from Ayla in terrified horror.

And instead, they will gang up on Nova and Lucius. So Nova and Lucius, they make two attacks each, two of them on each individual one of you. So Nova tries to stab you with its little stone knife. That is going to be a 14 to hit. No. Nope.

And then it tries to bite you, which is a 18 to hit. No. No? No. No? No. Is your AC 19 now? A 19 AC. Oh, because you got your shield, didn't you? Yeah, I keep forgetting you've got your new shield now. That's why you're a tight title champion. So,

and then it tries to bite you, like wrap its giant froggy mouth around you, and you're just like, kind of shrugging them off. I'd like to think that Nova's so stoned at the moment. She's kind of shrugging them off i'd like to think that nobody's so stoned at the moment she's she's kind of just swaying around and as she's swaying that's how they miss her she's just like yeah okay well while you're doing that the other one that was attacking you was a 21 and then a 20 to hit yeah so these ones do actually strike. So you take

whopping two points of piercing damage from the little stone knife and then four points of damage as he wraps his big mouth around you and is biting you. You can feel that there are teeth. There are like sharp teeth.

Dude, that's gross. 19 to hit. Yeah. Natural 20 to hit you, Lucius, on the stone knife. Oh, for God's sake. Every time, Lucius. Seven points of damage as it stabs you in the arm. Hey, ow.

And then one of them bites you as well for six points of damage as it wraps its big mouth around one of your hands. Gross. 14 to hit Lucius. Yep. And then a... No, that's like a seven to hit Lucius. So you take another two points of piercing damage

as the other one shivs you. Get off! Stop it! Krokatoa! Krokatoa! Krokatoa! Krokatoa krokatoa krokatoa krokatoa my butt no your turn i don't know what to do i'm afraid

would nova know what to do if she's tripping balls oh well i mean like does kim know what to do like i look i once smoked the reefer when I was at university and I very much did not know what to do then

so I you know yeah I don't think it was all a trap get her get that arrest her

right damn it no do you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna do something I I'm going to do something... I think I'm going to do something that is, I think, in keeping with what Nova would be thinking right now,

given that she's tripping out of her tiny brain. I'm going to turn into a gaseous cloud. Okay, sure. Nova's just going to be looking at all the pretty colors and this little frog that's gumming on her arm. And she's like, this is way too much, dude. I want to be one with the universe. You turn into like a nebula cloud.

Yeah, you just see. It's almost like you see her hair just spin and turn and her hair almost becomes her whole body And then yeah, she's just a beautiful sparkly cloud Yeah, I'm a gas now. I'm a gas. I'm a gas. Okay All right, well Nova turns into gas and just floats away. Yeah Yeah, 10-foot. I believe you can't do anything while you're in gaseous form as well. Like you can't attack or call spells You're just a gas no yeah i'm just like over it i can move you can move yeah so move yourself as you wish

um and you can move through creatures and stuff float away um can you still be attacked as a gaseous form um i think i have a uh, target can enter and occupy the space with another creature. Resistance to non-magical damage, advantage on strength decks and con saving throws, I can pass through spaces, blah blah blah. Perfect. Right, the two, um, as you were, as this all kicked off, two giant frogs that you saw behind the temple have bounded their way, behind the temple, have bounded their way, and the two more warrior-looking frogmen have clambered up and mounted them, riding on top of them, and they hop to try and strike at Aayla

and probably Quillek, I think. In fact, they've actually got reach, so they're going to stay a little bit back. I would like to protect the quill, please. Protect the quill, absolutely. Protect the quill, absolutely. As they do so, I've moved you by accident. They're sentries. Laters!

Yeah, they just kind of hop and land where they need to, and then they... and try and strike at you twice with their spears. These long spears. They've got particularly long-looking, brutal spears. So Aayla, this is against you. That is going to be a 18 to hit.

No. And then that is going to be a 10 to hit. So both of them, they kind of just parry away. The next one actually won't. It will only make one attack against Quill with disadvantage. It's a natural one. So essentially you manage to kind of deflect and

protect Quill as they're fighting. But for its second attack, instead it bellows this loud croak, this loud and you see all of the other Bollywugs, all the other frogmen begin getting really hyped up as this croak kind of echoes out around them. They kind of are like
