Pickaxe. crispy jalapenos, and a super tasty sweet and spicy sauce.
You'll wish this spectacle of flavor never ended.
Try the new Firecracker McCrispy today at participating McDonald's restaurants.
Need a great reason to get up in the morning?
Well, what about two?
Right now, get a small organic fair trade coffee and a tasty bacon and egg or breakfast sandwich for only $5 at A&W's in Ontario. the dropship glides through the fresh spring air before coming to a not so gentle stop uh on the southern edge or southeasterly edge of this mysterious island
this uncharted island in the tropical sea between giselle and uh mirsky uh you can almost see i
would say from this point the glint of the city of glass on giselle's northern continent you can just see a faint glint in the
sun's light uh far far to the south but as the the drop ship semi sinks into the mud the soft
earth that has been piled up on this island um with a kind of wet squelch. And you all emerge from it. And if you go on roll 20, there is a map.
And you can immediately see
a large pond with
sort of wooden structures,
some sort of stone. Oh, I've not moved you.
That's my fault.
There we go.
And you might want to scroll and zoom out a little bit,
Chris Trott. I've also given you, Chris Trott, a control
of a camera icon.
Oh, my God.
If you might want to scroll all the way down.
Yes.
Okay.
There you are.
So, yeah, you can see it's quite extensive.
There are these kind of long pools all over the place.
Seems to be some sort of stone pond in the middle of this uh swampy puddle um and yeah this risen up
stone temple in the very middle with a couple of other buildings and you also see that it is
populated that this island does have creatures on it because as you land you can see in the temple, the stone temple, and a couple of them further behind. A group
of frogmen.
They stand on two legs.
They wear rough spun tunics
made of kind of thick
mossy-like hides and
cloth, almost looks like sail
cloth that's been cut and tied.
They're about the size of people. They're not
tiny frogs. They are like full frogs they're about as tall as
some of you, maybe a little bit shorter
and they have crude looking
weapons and they are looking very puzzled
in your direction
but they don't appear to be taking any
sort of aggressive stance just yet
just kind of looking more curiously.
What on earth?
What on earth are those creatures?
They have weapons, so they're intelligent.
Do you think they speak?
Common.
The common.
Common is a language, yes.
Let's try the age-old putting our hands up in a...
A couple more of them kind of emerge from the side of a building,
kind of stick their thick, green, kind of slimy heads around,
their bug eyes kind of...
As they kind of look around.
Let's try and look as non-threatening as we can, everybody.
One of them...
One of them moves up to the edge of the water
and is kind of moving towards the bridge
and is looking your way.
And yeah, you hear it just call out like,
Who are you?
What are you?
Hello.
Where have you come from?
An airship.
We came from an airship.
It kind of turns around,
hops up the sloped hill, and calls to... You can see in the back of turns around, hops up the sloped hill and calls to,
you can see in the back of this temple,
kind of in the distance,
you can see sat in a large pond,
a very overweight,
almost covered in boils and scars,
a very overweight looking frog man,
clutching something kind of like a long spear but it's
all covered in in like a cloth and a fabric like it's been tied up um and you just hear it kind of
it's a big kind of like cheeky bit kind of expands as it lets out this loud croak um
bring them to see gloom ships do not go on the air they go on the water bring them to sea, Gloobor. Ships do not go on the air.
They go on the water.
Bring them to sea, Gloobor.
Very good, very good, Lord Gloobor.
And it bounces over.
You are to come and speak with Lord Gloobor.
Cut!
Bring no weapons, oh we will get you
very well come on everybody um well we're not going to leave our weapons
now we're going to just not have them out that's. You see it kind of turn its head
back into the temple.
The big fat one is like,
they pose no threat to us.
We pose no threat to them.
Perfect.
Okay.
We'll sludge
through, I guess.
So on the map,
those of you that can see the map,
anywhere that's kind of brown and
shaded is this bog-like mud and it's like a proper your feet kind of sink in and you have to really
like uh pull them free so it counts as difficult terrain in terms of like any movement so it does
take you a little bit of time for me not me. Not for Ayla, I know.
But anybody who is affected by default terrain,
you really have to kind of like,
it takes twice as long to make your way out of this thick mud.
The water looks blackish with kind of tinges of green algae floating around in it.
It's very swamp-like, this area.
A couple of the frogmen begin hopping their way
over.
So you guys just approach.
Yeah, just slowly trudging our way
through. Lucius is
tutting. It's just going to take
so long to rinse off.
It really will. It really,
really will. Did you ever do your own
laundry?
That's not the point.
As you begin making your
way over the bridge,
you see that behind the temple,
there is two more large
ponds and pools in which
sit two giant frogs.
They are enormous, the size of bison
and they're just kind of sat in the pool um just kind of looking around snatching at a few flies
but yeah they're looking around the two that you meet um at the end of the bridge these two frog
men they appear to be wearing like hide armor kind of thickened leather tattered covered in scraps of all sorts of things really
bark and tree mixed in with a little bit of metal that seems to have been sort of
bent and fused to it by some sort of glue they carry wooden shields ramshackle as they are and
they have uh crude spears um but they kind of just march uh with you, leading you to a small wooden gangway
that leads up this kind of sloped gravelly hill
into the larger temple.
They just kind of shuffle,
they kind of just gesture up and remain where they are.
You will go and see Lord Gloomor.
Very well.
Straight visitors from the Owl. You should be honoured to be in Lord Gloomor. Very well. Straight visitors from the out.
You should be honoured
from the end Lord Gloomor's presence.
Oh, good.
As we're walking along, can I messenger
ring Nova and just ask, like,
is there any update on the
shard? Is it near here?
Please don't tell me he has it.
Oh, 100%. It's the thing he's holding
in his hands. You can sense it coming from it.
It's wrapped up so you can't see
the Tiangong shard, but it looks to be
about the size and shape of a spear.
And Tiangong will tell you.
Shard.
Okay. I'm just...
I'll tell you at the end of the episode.
I'm just, yeah,
messengering. I'll just kind of...
Oh.
Hurry.
Do not keep Lord Gloom waiting.
Oh, yes, absolutely, yeah.
See a few more of the frogmen begin just kind of making their way round,
curious as to these shenanigans.
When you get into the main temple, you can see it's overgrown with thick foliage, mushrooms, all sorts of vegetables have been grown here.
There is a crude shrine carved to resemble a giant toad that these frogmen appear to be worshipping.
And one in particular is holding up a long spear-like object and is holding it up to this
toad god that they appear to be worshipping. In the back of the room, you can see that there is
a pile of gold, some sacks, a worn-looking treasure chest that looks waterlogged,
covered in a few barnacles and things like that,
and sat in this large pool like a sauna is just this fat frogman.
So, visitors from the air, why have you come to the Drifting Isle?
You have entered Lord Gloobar's realm.
I'm looking around at who's gonna be
the most diplomatic here.
Can you speak my language,
air people?
Or are you too primitive to understand
language?
Um... Uh... Or are you too primitive to understand language?
We heard great tales of the magnificent Lord Gloobort,
and we thought you would come to make tribute.
Very well.
What tribute have you brought one gloom or do a Oh. Why do you waste Lord Gloom more time? Where is my gift? I have a wondrous item
that can conjure monsters and animals
as if by magic from the very air.
And then I'll... Your kind is so primitive,
you do not understand magic. Likely a small
trick.
Perhaps if you are lucky, if you entertain
Lord Glooball, I shall show you my magic.
Okay, I'll take out
the pipe of smoke monsters
that I've never used before and had since 2017
and start conjuring, I guess, little frog creatures
that look like them.
And then, yeah, let me just double check if I can...
Can I get them?
A single creature.
So I can summon a Frogamoth?
What the hell is a Frogamoth?
But yeah, sure.
Frog.
Giant frog.
Giant smoke frog.
One foot smoke frog.
Are you summoning the Frogamoth or a giant frog?
Whatever looks closest to King, Lord...
Probably...
I mean, you don't know what a frogamoth is,
so I guess you would just
make a giant frog. So yeah, you
summon a giant frog,
and he kind of
looks at it, he's just like,
a most amusing
trick.
This is a
petty trick, but your
tribute is sufficient. Attendant!
And he kind of waves a big floppy
finned hand in your
direction, and a smaller frogman
kind of hops and hops over to you like
I will take this full
old gloom off
his little hands.
I'll take it off the pipe, sure. Very good, and he kind of takes it and hops back and hands it to lord glooball who kind of examines
it and then throws it behind him into his treasure pile oh my god well we have brought the most thing. Is that all you wish for?
It's a land of berries.
What else?
Why have you, is this all? You have come to offer me this pipe of smoke monster?
We heard that you have a magnificent weapon demonstration of its
powers I don't know something like that yeah make a deception check for me. Deception check. I have a plus five on that.
Eighteen plus five.
Eighteen, nineteen, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three.
It is true.
It seems the tales of Lord Gloomore have traveled far and wide.
I command the most mighty weapon recovered from under the sea.
But it is not for just anyone
to see it
perhaps you should stay
as guests
and if you are honored by our lord
Krokatoa then
then perhaps you will be allowed to see my weapon
and all the little frogmen that have been gathered
outside when he says the words Krokatoa
they all go crocotoa
is that who the statue is of up there
yes a global metal woman is very perceptive it is indeed lord crocotoa that you see it wasn't
oh it's very magnificent.
You are wise.
You are wise to worship Lord Crocoteur.
He is very powerful.
I only hope one day for us to truly be honoured by Crocoteur.
Well, if you remain for our dinner,
perhaps you will be honoured by him.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay as guests.
Sit upon my floor and I shall have one of my people perform for you
as you await for dinner.
Ayla's just going to say in the earring i literally cannot stop
staring at the wall right now because if i look at any of them i will burst out laughing and or
make fun of them heavily so i'm just gonna stare at the wall and try not to move it's also uh it stinks this whole island just
reeks of rot and just swampy gas it smells like farts everywhere um it's a very stinky place
and it's very putrid the floor is covered in like mud and muck, Lucius. So if you do go to sit down,
it's very difficult to find anywhere
where it's not going to completely cover your trousers.
I spent a long time kind of like a cat
trying to find the best part of the floor,
just rotating around.
No, no.
Okay.
Here.
Squelch. Sure. Yeah sure yeah you find a seat the uh frogmen outside begin to kind of
um kind of bring down and you see them one of them fetches and starts bringing
these very strange ripe uh purple and green fruits that grow on the trees here. They're all misshapen.
They have lumps in weird places.
But as you all begin to take your seats,
you can position yourselves in the temple,
wherever you would like.
The frog attendant who took the pipe
hurries to the front of you all,
wherever you sit,
and will begin a performance
once you have all taken your seats.
Um,
another one of the frogs,
uh,
makes his way up
and begins bringing around these,
like,
carved pieces of fruit.
Um,
and it smells very sweet.
Very,
very saccharine sweet,
um,
as you do so.
Mmm.
Where's everyone sitting?
Who wants to sit next to, next to Lord Gloobor?
So Nova goes and sits sort of just below Lord Gloobor?
Yeah.
Somewhere like that.
Yeah.
Is this some sort of mat?
Straw mat or something?
I mean, you're not quite sure what it's made from.
It is the closest thing to a cloth, you're not quite sure what it's made from. It is the closest thing
to a cloth, you can see.
Maybe like tree fibers or like
straw that's been woven together,
but it is still just as filthy.
It's covered in sort of like
froggy mud prints everywhere.
The fruit
is kind of offered to you all as
the little attendant frog
begins kind of singing,
but it's like a chirping, like frogs in a
swamp all kind of singing together.
This kind of mesmerizing chirp
begins to kind of echo from its voice.
Can you all make a wisdom save for me, please?
Oh.
Interesting.
You will close by.
One, two.
Plus nine, I got twelve.
You should get plus three, too.
Oh, yeah.
I think everybody but Ayla does.
Yeah, so Ayla doesn't get a bonus.
10 feet, yeah.
So Katie's really happy about that.
Great.
What'd you get?
I got a 15.
Okay, 15. It's you get? I got a 15. Okay, 15.
It's alright.
So, totals. 13 for
Sentry. Yeah.
13 for me too.
13 for Lucius.
15 for me. Nova.
10.
Nova's making a 10. Okay.
And then Ayla, 15 as well.
So, Sentry, Luciusus and nova um you just feel really
relaxed like yeah this song's really cool and it's nice i just feel really just you just feel
really chilled out here like this song is so relaxing and just really just feels nice this is
um the song itself doing this not the yeah it's the no it's the song itself doing this, not the fruit. Yeah, no, it's the song itself.
The fruit is offered to you, and you hear Lua Gloob like,
this cocktail of fruit from our island.
It is very delicious.
Thank you.
So generous.
I'll hold my hands out for it.
Yeah, they give it to you, a slice, a slice of this
very sweet-smelling fruit.
You know what? I'm warming to
this place. I dip my
hand into it and pull out
some of that juicy
slurp. Yep.
Shove it in. Sure.
Anybody else eating it? Just Lucius?
I shall eat some.
Okay, Century, it's it. Century, you don't need to eat, do you? But you're gonna just like partake in it, Just Lucius? I shall eat stuff. Okay, Sentry eats it.
Sentry, you don't need to eat, do you?
But you're going to just partake in it.
It's polite, you know?
I'll think about how that affects you in a minute.
Anyone else?
That's what I mean.
Yeah, Nova's a polite girl.
I'm very relaxed.
Are me and Ayla hearing a totally different song?
No, it's the same song, but it's just to you. It's like a very soothing, almost like a totally different song no it's the same song but it just yeah it's just to you it's like
a very soothing almost like a cicada
jungle noise like something you might put on like
in the background when you're trying to fall asleep
I thought they were hearing like a
siren song and we were just hearing
it's like a kind of
chirping like a continuous chirping
coming from this frog
but it sounds like cicadas in like
the, or like, you know, it sounds
quite nice. It's relaxing.
But it doesn't have as much of a pronounced effect
on you as it does clearly on them.
Yeah, Nova,
you eat some as well.
Ayla, Quill, gonna eat the fruit?
No.
I think she's still
looking at, she's trying not to make eye contact
with any frog because she will
just burst out laughing
in their face
anybody who's eaten the very strange mysterious
frog fruit, can you please make
a intelligence saving throw
with disadvantage please
oh no
the song's chilling you out.
Oh!
Oh!
I definitely passed.
Oh, shit.
16 was my lowest.
16 was your lowest, okay.
Nova?
Three was my lowest, so five.
All right.
Okay.
Five.
Century and Nova.
Man, colors are getting really bright.
Like, everything seems really, really vibrant.
And this song is just so relaxing.
And, man, wait, hang on.
Is that?
These frogs, like, their skin skins shifting and dancing, man.
Like, it's...
You are tripping pretty hard on these...
Yeah.
Lucius.
You look like the universe.
You're so pretty.
Wait, who's the universe?
I don't think I've met him.
Now that you have partaken
in our island's fruits
and you have enjoyed the song of my people,
now it is time to see if you are worthy
of being honored by Krakatoa.
Krakatoa, Krakatoa, Krakatoa.
Krakatoa.
Krakatoa, man, yeah!
Krakatoa!
Very well.
We must go down to his sacred pod.
Come, bring our guests.
And all the frogs begin making their way.
Isn't this place just fantastic?
Sure, I thought the murder... Isn't this place just fantastic? Sure.
And even Lord Gloobor pulls himself from the pond
and is kind of ushering you guys all forwards
down towards the pond.
Let's go, Sentry, Nova, come on.
I can see every colour in the existence of the world.
I just wonder with the primes
like you know
so much sometimes
and it's
there's a lot happening
right now
like
oh man
what
Lord Gloobor
I keep forgetting his name Lord Gloobor I keep forgetting his name
Lord Gloobor gestures towards Nova
You are the one who will succeed
Lord Gloobor's mighty weapon
You must step forward
Come, stand before the great Krokotoa
Krokotoa, Krokotoa, Krokotoa
Stand before his palm
Dude
Are these my knees?
Nova, he's pointing at Nova
What are my feet? Are these my knees? Nova, he's pointing at Nova. Where are my feet?
Are these my feet?
Go on, Nova, go.
Don't disrespect.
Where am I going?
He kind of takes your hand,
this slimy wet hand,
pulls you over towards the pond.
And then Lord Gloobor raises his, you know,
wrapped up staff to the air.
Oh, Lord Kokotawa,
this one wishes to be blessed by your presence
to see if they are worthy of witnessing Lord Gloobor's mightiest weapon.
They have imbibed the sacred fruits.
They have listened to our frog song.
Now we await your appearance.
Sentry, you don't need to put your hands up.
We await your appearance.
Sentry, you don't need to put your hands up.
Those of you who are not completely out of your minds,
Lucius, you still feel very relaxed and chilled out,
but you are not as hallucinogenic as the other two.
The waters on the stone pool begin to shift and you begin to see something
bubbling and emerging from under the
surface and in a
giant spray
of water
a enormous creature
appears
it is
perhaps 15 foot tall
with four tentacles
and a long rolling ton
and three ice stalks on the top of its head with a giant gaping mouth.
You have summoned Crocotele, a worthy sacrifice.
And we are going to roll initiative.
No!
No!
No, I did not consent to this. to roll initiative. No! No! No!
I did not consent to this!
The frogmen of the Drifting Isle have a sacrifice
and they are hungry.
Nom nom nom nom.
I did not consent!
So is this a frogamoth?
This is indeed a frogamoth.
Yes.
So what would have happened if I'd summoned a frogamoth. Yes. Oh my god.
So what would have happened
if I'd summoned a Frogamoth
from the place?
They might have thought
that it was Lord Crocotele.
Lucius, total initiative, please.
I got a six...
22, sorry.
22.
Quillacad, come on.
Sentry and Nova,
you have disadvantage on the initiative.
You basically count as poisoned.
So you have disadvantage on attack rolls,
saving throws, and ability checks.
What if I...
What if I'm resistant to poison?
Are you resistant or immune?
Resistant to poison.
Then I will say...
Go on.
Oh, no, no. It's just...
It says magical creations.
Oh, it's because it's me. I'm a magical creation, never mind.
I'd say maybe you can make a, on your turn, at the start of your turn, make another saving throw against the effect.
I'm the magical creation, never mind.
It does make sense that you would be less affected by this than other beings, but make another saving throw on the start of your turn.
Oh, you play one?
All creations, like me?
Quilek.
Ooh! Nine. Nine.
Nine. Aayla?
Twenty.
Twenty. Sentry?
That's a ten.
Nova?
Fifteen.
Okay.
Well, Lucius,
you react first.
You see this giant thing like emerge and one of its giant tongue is reaching out towards nova who's looking up at it um nope nope nope none of this i'm going to
wall of ice and just create a wall around this frogamoth.
Okay. Well, you can make... How tall is the wall?
10 feet high.
This thing is 15 feet tall.
Yep.
It is a huge creature.
So you can still do it, but it will be able to
reach over.
Can I create a wall that's twice as high
and not as wide?
Well, what does the spell
say? What does the spell say you can do?
I'll make a...
That's up to 10 feet.
If it's the same as Wall of Light,
it's 60 foot long,
10 feet high, 5 foot
thick. Thick, yeah.
And you can choose any orientation.
It's just whether you can
stack them on top of each other.
It doesn't really specify.
I'll keep it as is.
So I'm just going to create a hindrance for it.
Sure, just draw it on the map as you want to.
And then take your move and bonus action as you desire.
Very well.
Meanwhile, I'm going to do the next couple of things,
the next thing to go.
This thing's movement speed is 30 feet, so...
Yep, hops here.
And picks a man up.
Any movement or bonus action, Lucius?
I'm going to move closer towards Nova,
but I'm making this thing right now, so...
Sure, okay, but you're going to move closer to Nova.
Ayla, you're next up, and then
the next one of you to go will be Nova
after a lot of monsters.
I will
rage, and
then
get to hitting,
I think, because, you know, this isn't going to
go well. I think I'm just going to hit the dude that's right next to me. think, because you know, this isn't going to go well.
I think I'm just going to hit the dude that's right next to me.
Yeah, so you see all of these little
frogmen that had been
chanting Krokotoa, they're all pulling
out things like stone knives and
stone axes from beneath these kind of
flappy, leathery tunics
that they were wielding, like little murderous
cultists. They're like,
So I'll hit that boy next to me then.
So first one is an 18 to hit.
Yep, that hits him.
Solid crack of the hammer.
And the second one is a 23.
That will also hit.
Excellent.
So.
11 on the first hammer swing.
Okay.
He dies.
Okay.
You hit this tiny frog man.
This tiny frog man,
you hit him with an upswing of the hammer
He flies through the air, his little neck
Broken as he lands amongst
The rocks and dies
Can I redirect my second swing?
You will have to make another attack roll, but yes you can
So do you want to move to like it?
Actually no, it would be the same
Yeah, you move to that guy And then, what was it? the same to that yeah dude yep yep you move to
that guy and then what was it seven eight nine nine eleven thirteen damage smash him against the
wall wham plus a zap bam i mean the zap like yeah i mean i don't think anything's in range for you
but yeah like these things just crumple under the hammer blow and you see Lord Gloobor like kill them quickly they are stronger
than we thought
I think
Aayla is yeah
before she started attacking she probably
finally let out a little bit of a laugh
because they're so ridiculous
it's like ha ha ha ha frogmen
you're so ridiculous. It's like, frog men.
You're so dumb.
Two of the Bollywoods are dead.
The others will run away from Ayla in terrified horror.
And instead,
they will gang up on Nova and Lucius.
So Nova and Lucius, they make two attacks each,
two of them on each individual one of you.
So Nova tries to stab you with its little stone knife.
That is going to be a 14 to hit.
No.
Nope.
And then it tries to bite you, which is a 18 to hit.
No.
No? No. No?
No. Is your AC 19 now?
A 19 AC.
Oh, because you got your shield, didn't you? Yeah, I keep forgetting you've got
your new shield now. That's why you're a tight
title champion. So,
and then it tries to bite you,
like wrap its giant froggy mouth
around you, and you're just like,
kind of shrugging them off. I'd like to
think that Nova's so stoned at the moment. She's kind of shrugging them off i'd like to think that nobody's so
stoned at the moment she's she's kind of just swaying around and as she's swaying that's how
they miss her she's just like yeah okay well while you're doing that the other one that was
attacking you was a 21 and then a 20 to hit yeah so these ones do actually strike. So you take
whopping two points of piercing damage
from the little stone knife
and then four points of damage
as he
wraps his big mouth around you
and is biting you.
You can feel that there are teeth.
There are like sharp teeth.
Dude, that's gross.
19 to hit.
Yeah.
Natural 20 to hit you, Lucius, on the stone knife.
Oh, for God's sake.
Every time, Lucius.
Seven points of damage as it stabs you in the arm.
Hey, ow.
And then one of them bites you as well for six points of damage
as it wraps its big mouth around one of your hands.
Gross.
14 to hit Lucius.
Yep.
And then a...
No, that's like a seven to hit Lucius.
So you take another two points of piercing damage
as the other one shivs you.
Get off! Stop it!
Krokatoa! Krokatoa! Krokatoa! Krokatoa krokatoa krokatoa
krokatoa my butt
no
your turn
i don't know what to do
i'm afraid
would nova know what to do if she's tripping
balls oh well i mean
like does kim know what to do
like i
look i once smoked the reefer
when I was at university
and I very much
did not know what to do then
so I
you know
yeah
I don't think
it was all a trap
get her
get that
arrest her
right
damn it
no
do you know what I'm gonna do?
I'm gonna do something I I'm going to do something...
I think I'm going to do something
that is, I think, in keeping
with what Nova would be thinking right now,
given that she's tripping out of her tiny brain.
I'm going to turn into a gaseous cloud.
Okay, sure.
Nova's just going to be looking at all the pretty colors
and this little frog that's gumming on her arm.
And she's like, this is way too much, dude.
I want to be one with the universe.
You turn into like a nebula cloud.
Yeah, you just see.
It's almost like you see her hair just spin and turn
and her hair almost becomes her whole body
And then yeah, she's just a beautiful sparkly cloud
Yeah, I'm a gas now. I'm a gas. I'm a gas. Okay
All right, well Nova turns into gas and just floats away. Yeah
Yeah, 10-foot. I believe you can't do anything while you're in gaseous form as well. Like you can't attack or call spells
You're just a gas no yeah i'm just like over it i can move you can move yeah so move yourself as you wish
um and you can move through creatures and stuff float away um can you still be attacked as a
gaseous form um i think i have a uh, target can enter and occupy the space with another creature.
Resistance to non-magical damage, advantage on strength decks and con saving throws, I can pass through spaces, blah blah blah.
Perfect. Right, the two, um, as you were, as this all kicked off, two giant frogs that you saw behind the temple have bounded their way,
behind the temple, have bounded their way,
and the two more warrior-looking frogmen have clambered up and mounted them,
riding on top of them,
and they hop to try and strike at Aayla
and probably Quillek, I think.
In fact, they've actually got reach,
so they're going to stay a little bit back.
I would like to protect the quill, please.
Protect the quill, absolutely. Protect the quill, absolutely.
As they do so, I've moved you by accident.
They're sentries.
Laters!
Yeah, they just kind of hop and land where they need to,
and then they...
and try and strike at you twice with their spears.
These long spears.
They've got particularly long-looking, brutal
spears. So Aayla, this is
against you. That is going to be a
18 to hit.
No. And then
that is going to be a 10 to hit. So both of them,
they kind of just parry away.
The
next one actually won't.
It will only make one attack against Quill
with disadvantage. It's a natural one.
So essentially you manage to kind of deflect and
protect Quill as they're fighting.
But for its second attack, instead it
bellows this loud croak, this loud
and you
see all of the other Bollywugs, all the
other frogmen begin getting really hyped
up as this croak kind of
echoes out around them. They kind of are like
yes! And they just begin chanting the name. waked up as this croak kind of echoes out around them. They kind of are like, ah, yes,
Fagrogatala, Fagrogatala!
And they just begin
sort of chanting the name
as they do so.
Sentry, what would you like to do?
Do I make a save?
A save for first?
Yeah, make a save
at the start of your turn
against this weird hallucinogen.
17?
Yeah, you pass.
You kind of manage to kind of come to your senses a bit more.
Cool.
I would like to move here
and give the smackdown to this frog dude in front of me.
See if we play?
When you move, actually, Century,
the one with the spear does manage to get a strike on you
because it has reach,
so you are still within its threatened area.
That is going to be a 24 to hit.
Yeah, that does.
It do be like that though.
And that's going to be
14, 17 piercing damage
and can you make a strength save please?
Okay, there's the bad one. There they are.
Seven.
Six plus seven. 12, 13...
13 is just enough. It nearly knocks you to the ground, yeah, 16. It nearly knocks you to the ground, but you manage to kind of pull yourself up and continue going as it strikes you as you move.
Crikey.
Alrighty, these boys are no joke.
Okay, let's get this boy. 19 plus 9 to hit.
Is this on this one next to you?
Just one of these regular frogmen?
Yeah, you hit him.
Easy.
Cool beans.
I'm going to do my level 1 Divine Smite,
so that'll be 4d8.
Level 1?
Oh, yeah, because you're including your normal damage.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sorry.
That's all right. 48 total. So, yeah, yeah. Sorry. That's all right.
48 total.
So 17 total.
I mean, he's dead.
It's just annihilating.
This little frog man is just skewered by Her Majesty's rose.
Can I target the one next to Luthor as well?
Yeah, yeah.
You can strike the next one.
Awesome.
Again, 19 plus 9. Yeah, yeah, you can strike the next one. Awesome. Again, 19 plus 9.
Yeah, sure.
Another level 1.
Make sure you mark off the spell slots.
I will do.
That is 20 damage.
This radiant light bursts out of Century's blade
as it just pierces into these frogs' chests,
stumbling, sending them stumbling back. Like Aayla, you just annihilate them in one hit as they just pierces into these frogs' chests, stumbling, sending them stumbling back.
Like Aayla, you just annihilate them in one hit
as they just...
as they stagger backwards.
Anything else, Sentry?
That isn't good.
No, I'm good, thank you very much.
Okay.
Krokotoa, the large, big frogamoth creature.
It will...
Let's see here. Okay, it doesn't have standing jump. Big frog a moth creature it will
See here, okay, it doesn't have standing jump
So he will go
Five ten fifteen
Begins trying to make his way around the wall of ice.
You can see this giant creature towers over it,
but he slowly makes his way,
swimming through the fetid water,
and then will lash out twice with these two large tentacle arms,
and then its giant tongue will also try and snap,
probably Lucius.
Sentry, one of the tentacles against you.
Quill, one of the tentacles against you. And then the tongue towards Lucius. Sentry, one of the tentacles against you. Quill, one of the tentacles against you.
And then the tongue towards
Lucius. Sentry,
that is a
28 to hit.
Yeah.
So it's going to be
16.
Oh my god, 3d8
and I just rolled 3d8.
24.
30 points of bludgeoning damage and you are grappled as this giant tentacle smack and then wraps around you um as it does so um quill that's a natural one
uh so you just leap to the side as this giant tentacle comes smashing down next to you.
And then Lucius, the tongue.
Can you make a strength saving throw?
Sure.
Happening to Lucius.
Plus three.
Five.
Sorry, eight total.
So the tongue wraps around you, the sticky, slimy, mucousy tongue,
and pulls you into its mouth.
And it's going to make a bite attack against you.
Jesus.
Yep.
And then it tries to bite
you. That's a 22.
Yeah.
Oh, crap.
I mean, these guys had a shot of Chengong.
You didn't think it was going to be that easy a fight, did you?
7, 11.
That's 17 piercing damage and
you are swallowed lucius as this thing and just pulls you and you are just feel yourself completely
constricted into this creature's belly uh okay uh you are you are blinded and restrained so remember
that because you're blinded you don't get dichomancy, because you need to be able to see colour
in order to use Dyncromancy.
And you are restrained, yeah.
But you do have total cover against attacks
and other effects outside the program.
Hey!
And you just hear this, just like,
one meal, more to go.
Can we all, like, get inside of him and operate him like a tank?
Just like that.
Putting on guts and stuff.
Have him forever.
Based on
how much damage I just saw that do
to Sentry, and now Lucius is
inside the damn thing,
I think I might do
a level 6 Guiding Bolt.
Oops, I just ported it.
I just ported that.
I saw.
Natural 20.
I did see that you had the natural 20 with the portent, yes.
Nice.
So 4d6 at level 1.
That's 5, 6, 7, 8, 9d6 max.
Yep.
Which is how much?
54 damage.
Yep. And then I roll another much? 54 damage. Yep.
And then I roll another 96.
You do.
Which is
25 on top of that, so
79 damage.
79
points of damage.
Holy crap.
Yep, that's right.
And the next attack has advantage, right?
And the next attack has advantage for Guiding Bolt.
And you spend that portent.
The Guiding Bolt, this surge
of radiant light, strikes the
creature dead in the gut. It's going to make
a con save to see if it regurgitates
Lucius.
Throw me up.
20.
Oh, 19.
Yeah, as it hits it in the chest,
you just hear it kind of...
And Lucius comes flying out of the mouth.
You are...
Yeah, you land prone in a space
within 10 feet of the Frogamoth,
so you land prone there, Luci within 10 feet of the frogamoth so you land prone there lucius
as you are thrown forward and land on the ground covered in sticky mucus um you see this thing
its beady eyes just lock onto quill with absolute fury um yeah and lord glueor next to him. You have dared!
You have dared to harm the great
crocodile! You must die!
And
he is gonna
summon
his own spell.
Oh!
There it is!
No!
I want my gas!
He will...
He's actually going to back up into the water
next to Krokotoa and then do this
so he can hit all of you, basically.
Well, actually, no.
He either has to hit Ayla or...
Oh, no, he still can't hit Slewis there.
He will, however, hit all of his allies when he does this.
The anger.
But he opens up his mouth and a glob jewel of...
And actually, he's going to cast Insect Plague.
He opens up his mouth and thousands of buzzing, horrible flies
just stream out
and surround the entire area.
The whole area
is lightly obscured. It counts
as difficult terrain, and I need
everybody to make a constitution
saving throw. What
category would this spell come
up? Is it a spell, even?
It is a spell.
Would it be fire, acid, lightning, poison,
cold, thunder force,
anything like that?
No, it does not do any elemental damage.
Is it a...
22.
No.
22 from Ayla.
Sentry, save.
That was a...
Columns, 10.
10, fail. Fail.
So Agla passes. Sentry fails.
Quill, I saw that was a 2, was that?
So that's a fail.
Nova, you still make the save, but you will have resistance.
Yeah, I get advantage, and I rolled a 16, so 19 in total from me.
19, so you succeed as well.
Lucius?
I'm going to counterspell this.
Are you going to counterspell? What level
are you going to counterspell at?
Do try and say that before people make their saving throws.
You count at level 4, I need you to roll
a d20 and add your charisma modifier.
Very well.
20.
That successfully counters the spell.
So as it starts bellowing these flies,
Lucius just gathers a swirl of orange and blue light
and it just kind of rips the spell apart from it being cast.
Yeah, you successfully countered that.
And then I go back just sobbing.
This is impossible
the power of
Tokatawa cannot
be denied
and then it's
Lucius your turn
I'm gonna forego
this entire action
as the realization
of being swallowed
and thrown up again
and covered in phlegm
froggy phlegm
is just too overwhelming
for one turn
okay sure so you're just
like i just sat there dripping with goo yeah okay sure
uh the in fact actually will their mounts will bound
forward uh and the giant frog mounts will try to bite ayla and quill ayla that is a 20 to hit
you quill god i cannot hit quill to save my life. Eleven to hit.
Nice. No.
Nice. God, that con save I was hoping I'd finally get you some damage back
but nope. Seven points
of piercing damage, Ayla, so you half that
to three and
you are... Oh, you are
grappled.
So it kind of wraps its mouth around you
which means you are restrained.
No!
You'll go.
Whilst you are restrained,
you do have disadvantage on attack rolls,
and it is an action to break free.
I guess I'll break free.
Or you can just attack it with disadvantage.
Okay.
Well, okay. That's a point. Actually, no, you've
got the thing of free movement, right?
You can't be restrained. Oh, yeah.
Yes!
So, okay, so he tries to wrap its mouth around you
and you just pull yourself
free. I can't be restrained.
There you go.
Ha ha ha!
So, I hate it twice, please.
Sure. Are you going for the
giant frog mount or the rider?
Can I go for the
rider, please?
Sure.
Wow, rider!
That's a natural 20.
That's going to be a hit then, isn't it?
Sure. So, let's work out the damage
So
It's going to be
10
11
16
19 because I'm raging
So 19 base damage
Yep and then add another dice.
And then add another dice for Brutal Critical.
Yep.
So...
15
more for the next dice roll.
You don't add the modifier.
Sorry, so 6.
Sorry, 6 and then...
19 plus 6, 25 and then another seven.
So 32 points of damage.
Yeah.
One colossal blow against this rider.
You kind of have to reach up to smack him on top of this giant frog.
The wooden shield he's holding cracks in half,
and he's left holding just half of this wooden shield
as this blow ricochets
through his body. Still alive, this
frogman, but looks very badly hurt.
But can you make a
save, a dex save,
against my zep?
That is
13. Nope, sorry,
16.
Just. Damn him. So, sorry, 16. Just.
Damn him.
So, he takes one. One point of damage.
One damage. And
then my second attack.
Sure. Against the same guy.
That was 16
plus 10, so
26 to hit.
It's the frogman.
Uh.
14 damage.
14 more points of damage.
Again, the blow is so hard
it nearly unseats him from his mount.
Still standing, this frogman.
Damn it!
He looks bad.
His little body is all bruised.
You can see this huge purple swelling
around his thick, mucousy neck
and just looks very, very badly hurt.
The next giant frog will make its...
Oh, no, I've already done that one against Quill.
The remaining lesser frogmen,
one of them will hop down and desperately try to attack Quill.
The other one will move.
Not being able to attack Nova will
also attack Quill because he attacked
Krokatoa.
Advantage on these attacks. Can I protect on one of them, please?
Yes.
In that case, I'll do this next one.
So it just becomes a flat roll because they have advantage.
So the highest I rolled there to hit
Tom was a 10.
The next one, however,
which is the one with disadvantage, but it had
advantage, is a 22.
Oh, there we go. Okay, yeah.
Oh, I actually have two
attacks I forgot. So that's going to be
five points of damage, and then his
next attack would be...
Nope, that's a miss. So yeah.
You take some points of damage
from this little frog man as they desperately
try and flail at you. Nova,
you are a cloud.
I am a cloud.
So do I get any saves
against tripping?
Yeah, I think now that the battle has started
properly, it will be at the
end of your turn.
Make another intelligence save.
So RP-wise like am i still i
because i don't really know like how smart can i be right now like how i don't know how does this
affect like what i want to do just do what you want to do man like don't worry about it okay
um so the wording of being a gas cloud says that it's a concentration spell and then it says like
the spell ends if the creature drops to zero hit points, but does that mean
I can only end it if I drop to zero?
Or can I just drop concentration?
I think all spells you can just choose to end.
I think it's just a bonus action or an action
to just choose to end the spell.
In which case,
can I stop being a cloud?
Yeah.
I would like to
cast... Oh, he moved. I'm like to cast
oh he moved
I'm going to try a new thing
I'm going to try synaptic static
which
you choose a point within range
and cause psychic energy to explode
there it's a 20 foot radius
so what I want to do is I want to catch
Croco Noah
and the little dude next to him
not Lucius
please can you make
intelligence saving throws DC
17 for both of those buds
I will do I'm just going to wait for my
thingy to spin back up
so let's
do Frogamoth first
intelligence saving throw Let's do Frogamoth first.
Intelligence saving throw.
Yeah, DC 17. The highest I got was a fifth.
Yeah, well, he fails that.
He's not very intelligent.
And then Lord Gloobor is a...
I think that's very high either.
Nope, that's a 10.
They both fail.
So that's 8d6 psychic damage.
A couple of ones in here.
A couple of sixes in here.
Tom, I might need your math help.
I've got three sixes.
Three ones.
And a four and a three.
I've lost count.
28.
28. That's yeah. 28.
That's what I said.
So 28 points of psychic damage.
And those two,
they have muddled thoughts for a minute.
During that time,
it rolls a d6
and subtracts that number
rolled from its attack rolls
and ability checks
as well as con saving throws
to maintain concentration.
You can make an intelligence saving throw at the end of each of your turns if you want to
okay nice well i don't think either of them are really making that save
um okay but you are now a person again yes i am now a person okay
annoyingly my window keeps keeps i don't know why it does this whenever I have
like roll 20 and D&D Beyond open everything just goes black for a while
and then I have to refresh everything very annoying mmm yeah okay you've
wandered off I mean this the the frog knight is having a hell of a time against Ayla, but you can't really get away
Yeah, because even if it jumps you're still gonna get an attack against him
So in a last desperate valiant zealot like attempt the knight will attempt to strike Ayla twice
That is gonna be a miss
and another miss.
The knight just
desperately tries to injure Ayla
before it can. The one remaining
will target Quillik again.
That's a miss. Jesus, I cannot
hit you, Quill, to save my life.
The highest
I rolled there was a 15.
No.
So you are just fleeing,
hiding around Sentry as Sentry's
shield is protecting you and just
ducking to the ground as these giant
spears pierce all around you
completely unable to
do anything.
It's got a frog men, Sentry.
Um, Mark...
And then Sentry and Quill, you will get an opportunity attack.
Oh yes, go on.
I rolled an intelligence saving throw, I got 14 just for the end of my turn.
Yeah, that's enough. Yeah, that's enough.
Cool.
Century and Quill,
you will get an attack opportunity.
The giant frog takes a leap into the air and is going to land next to Nova.
Okie dokie.
I'll take that hit.
Why not?
Hey, guys, you know I have a quarterstaff, right?
Oh, yeah, that quarterstaff you've always had,
that you've always carried around.
Tickle it.
I've got a 25.
25 will hit.
Quill's 21 will also hit.
Nice.
He's only got one hand,
so he can only do five points of damage.
Imagine if that decapitated him.
And then give him damage entry.
Gloucester!
Can I spell a level 3 Divine Smite on this boy, please?
You can, yeah, yeah. It's on a hit.
Awesome. So that is... I'll just do my little mathy maths.
So that is... Oh my god.
2d8 plus 1 for each one higher.
So 2, 3, 4...
Is it 5?
4, 5. 5d8.
You tell me.
19.
Well, if it's 4d8
for your level 1, you should get another
2d8, so... Because you you should get another 2d8,
because you're casting it at 3rd level.
So add another d8 onto that one.
Another one.
So 19... 20...
7...
plus 5.
So 32.
Now, so as this thing jumps away you just strike
upwards with her majesty's rose and this gleaming
light of the matrix
pierces through the
rider's belly
as the frog tries to leap him away
and you just hear this
as it lands
and then I
just
knock him away and then I just just knock him away.
And then Sentry, it's your go.
So I'm grappled
currently.
No, not anymore. I let go and jumped away.
Oh, sweet. Awesome.
Ah, you should have had disadvantage on those
attacks. Never mind.
Do you want me to roll?
No, it's fine. I've already done the damage.
Okay. So can I...
I'm going to cast Enlarge
and then I'm going to go move over to Lucius.
There we go.
You just see Sentry's form kind of expand.
The metal grows, the face armor.
And I'm going to kind of move, like, here.
Mm-hmm.
And I just, like, yeah, be like a barrier between the...
Yeah, yeah, because it's action to cast.
It's action to cast thingy, isn't it?
So, uh, cool.
Um, yeah, well, Sentry, after you...
That's your whole go, yeah?
Yeah.
Okay. Uh, well, the the giant frogamoth will attack you
yeah I forgot that you were grappled
as well
because it was this creature that had you grappled that's my mistake
never mind
this thing will try and attack you with at least one of its
tentacles it will still try and lash out
at quill because quill hurt it
really badly but its tentacles. It will still try and lash out at Quill, because Quill hurt it really badly.
But its tentacles have got like
20 foot reach, so it kind of wraps one around you.
In fact, it's actually longer than that.
And it's going to send the other one
out towards Quill.
But yeah, its tongue will probably try
and wrap around while you're too big.
And it can't really get to Lucius.
So it might
have to not use it.
Sentry, attack against you is a 29.
That'll do it.
Quill, 26.
Oh, yeah.
Oh.
Oh.
All right, Sentry, this is 8.
13. Alright, sentry, this is 4, 8 13 That is
19 points of bludgeoning damage
and you are grappled again
I'm going to remember that next time
Is this Krokatoa making these attacks?
Oh, it should have
reduced it by a D6, shouldn't it?
Yeah, D6
I think a 29, it goes down to a 23
It still would have been over 20
And then Quill It goes to a 23. It still hits.
And then Quill, yeah, it goes to a...
What did I hit you with?
Like a 22, a 21?
It goes down to 18.
Oh, I'll shield it then.
Okay, so you shield that one.
Yeah, if I can shield it, then yeah, I will.
Yeah, yeah, because it would have been 18
with the synaptic static.
Perfect, yeah, I'll do that. So, so okay so as the tentacle comes slamming down again quill narrowly avoiding being hit by this giant creature um after it's dealt such a heavy blow
but essentially you get whacked by one of it um it will try and bite you century even if it can't
fully swallow you it will still try and bite you. For only a 15.
In fact, that would be even less because it's synaptic static.
And then this thing can't actually physically succeed
on the intelligent saving throw, Nova.
So there's no point in even trying.
Yep, can't even make it.
What's its score?
It's got very low intelligence.
And it has no bonus.
If it's less than two, I should have asked. It's less very low intelligence. And it has no bonus. If it's less than two... If it's less than two...
Does it not affect it?
I should have asked.
Yeah.
It's less than two.
Did I...
It's less...
Well, it's two.
Oh, shit!
So it didn't take all that damage.
Oh, I thought it would have been more intelligence than a two.
No, it's dumb.
Okay.
Well, it still seems healthy.
It still affected the druid, though.
So...
Yeah, sorry. Quill, it would have been a It still affected the druid, though. Yeah, sorry.
Quill, it would have been a 23.
Could you still shield that?
Yeah, so Quill will take the damage, yeah.
I can't shield that.
Right, then don't spend the shield.
And instead, a 15, 17, 23 points of bludgeoning damage, Quill.
That's this tentacle.
And you are also grappled.
Is it normally it's like three or higher.
Shit.
Yeah, an intelligent, a creature with
an intelligence score of two or lower can't be
effective. Two or lower, yeah.
It is two.
Nice.
So, that was Itzko
Quillick.
Shit. Well, now that I'm grappled I guess it's a action
to get away from that right
yes
you have to spend an action to break free of the grapple
okay
in that case
I'm next to these little nerds as well
yeah the little nerds are there
trying to stop you running away.
Why?
In that case, I will do a healing
word on sentry
at level
55.
Level 3.
So that's 1d4
3d4
plus 5 so
3d4
7 plus 5
level 3 spell
well appealing
thank you
thank you very much
d4s
I know.
That was your bonus action, Quill.
My action was to get away from the grapple.
Oh, right, I see.
Okay, what did you roll on that?
Oh, it's a strength save, is it?
Yeah, you have to make an athletics or acrobatics check.
Oh, well, that was strength.
I'll do an actual athletics check.
Sick.
Oh, Ted.
You do not break free.
This tentacle has you gripped firmly.
That's cool.
All right, well, I heal Sentry, and that's my turn.
That's your turn.
Thank you.
Okay.
Okay.
In that case, the little Lord Gloobor
Having been denied
His big epic spell
Will in a kind of frustration
Waters
Of the island come to my head
And behind him a big kind of
Wall of water surges and he is going to
Cast a spell
Count a spell
At what level?
You counter the spell automatically So Lucius is just like is going to cast a spell. Count spell. At what level? Fourth.
You counter the spell automatically.
So Lucius is just like,
and then the water just splashes down behind him.
He's like, no!
Just stop it!
You stop it!
Incredible.
Stop!
Lord Bluebor is mighty!
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Fight your guard, not us.
I'm going to...
Can I mark?
You are marking these spell slots, right?
For counter spell? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I've got one left of fourth.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm going to move over to
one of these frogs here.
As you do, when you...
I actually know you're still within its reach.
Yep, okay.
Frogamoth can't get an opportunity to attack just yet.
Can I
just grab one of these frogs
and whip it round
so it's facing this way?
Yeah.
Well, you can make it.
You can.
You're going to make a...
This is a grapple check, so it's strength.
You're going to make a strength check against this thing. It's a regular old strength, yeah. Well, athletics can make it. Just pull it off, Quill. You can. You're going to make a... This is a grapple check, so it's strength. You're going to make a strength check against this thing.
It's a regular old strength, yeah.
Well, athletics, yeah.
Athletics or acrobatics.
No, no, athletics, because you are initiating the grapple.
All right, I'll roll that one now, then.
Six.
So you try and grab it, and it just like...
And it grabs you instead.
Yeah, you do not move it.
It is not grappled.
All right.
So can I use my font of magic to quickly spell
so I can actually cast this round?
Yeah.
But I'm grappled, so is that...
You're not grappled.
No, you just failed to grapple.
Right.
You are not grappled back.
In which case, I'm going to Chromatic Orb
at
my last, actually
fifth level
of
Cold on
the Frogger Moth.
Sure.
I'm sure I can hit
because it's so big.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Size of a building.
Alright, so 19.
19 does
indeed hit.
25 cold.
25 cold.
It does not have resistance against that.
The ice shatters against its large belly
and kind of spreads rime and frost across it.
No!
I'll send a shard as well of Dicromancy onto it as well of nine points.
Another nine points.
Another ice shard smashes against it as you do so.
Yep. Anything else?
That's it for me.
Okay.
The giant frog mount.
Go on.
I would have been in barnage.
You rolled a 19.
Unless you get a crit.
Whatever.
Do you want me to roll?
Well, this is where he'll probably roll one now you've said that.
No, it was a 12.
There you go.
Ayla, the giant frog tries to bite down on you again, but fails.
Then it's your turn, actually.
The mount is just like...
Can I hit the
doody what's it on top of this again?
Please.
Yeah, sure.
Recklessly.
26 to hit.
Yeah,
easy. The hammer
smashes into it
is this the one that you were fighting before
you don't need to roll damage dude
okay well it was 16
for the first hit
it had 5 fucking hit points left
so this knight on top you just jump up
and one big
you just hear it's little neck snap
and his body just slumps off the giant frog
mouth
can my little zap go to the frog then snap. His body just slumps off the giant frog mouth.
Can my little zap go to the frog then?
Because it's within five feet.
That's a two. Failed.
So
seven
damage. Seven points.
Lightning. The lightning arcs
through its body. You can see some of its internal
organs light up from the
lightning arcing through it.
And can I move to here
and recklessly hit this little dude beside Quill, please?
Yeah, absolutely.
Good job I did, because I rolled a net one on the first one.
So 24 to hit.
Yeah. Good job I did because I rolled a net one on the first one So 24 to hit Yeah 10 damage
Oh
10 to this guy
Not enough is it
Wait wait no
Wait wait wait
11
Is that enough?
Because I'm reaching.
Oh my god.
I was like, he's going to be on one hit point,
but no, Aelita just comes up and one big
smash, this big green
pussy blood just kind of splats
all over Lucius and Quill.
Anything else, Aelita?
No, that's my, all of my turn.
That's your whole turn.
Nova, the giant frog tries to nom you.
I'm just gonna skirt.
It fails.
I'm just gonna skirt back.
The giant frog mount tries to bite Nova.
I'm between these two.
Fails.
Um, yeah, I'm not even gonna make an opportunity attack.
Nova!
Oh no, sorry, the one remaining Bullywug.
I'm not even going to make an opportunity to attack
Nova. Oh no, sorry.
The one remaining Bullywug
will attack Lucius.
That is a 17 to hit
and a 21 to hit.
Lucius, that's
three points of damage and three points of damage.
I risked my life for
a little cockataw.
Very noble. I give my life for Lord Togata! of me, I guess the rider. So I'm going to attack with Tiangong, and I'm going to green frame bread it.
16 plus 10, so 26 on the
first hit, and I rolled an 8
on the damage, so
8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,
14 points of
Tiangong damage,
and then it is
2d8
8 points of fire damage to the rider.
And then...
Tiangong swipes through the air, the green flame,
or the bluish kind of green flame training behind,
and it just carves through him.
The rider just falls down dead.
Ah.
And then an additional 15 points of green flame blade damage to the frog mount.
Yeah, to his one, yeah? The one that he was riding?
Yeah, the one that he was riding, yeah.
So the flame then lances down onto the frog, scarring all of its back,
and you can see that, yeah, it's absolutely savaged by it.
Sentry.
Can I use an action to break out of my grapple?
Yes, you can.
Yep.
So, athletics check.
I need to check.
Let's see on this.
Let's go.
Athletics, 12.
Athletics or acrobatics.
Oh, okay.
Cool.
Athletics.
That'll be a natural 20 for athletics check.
You managed to rip the tentacle free from your body.
Yeah, and you are now free.
And I'd like to move back to here, please.
And you are still within range of that.
However, the Lord Gloobor will get to strike you.
And as he does, he kind of rips free the cloth around the spear he's been carrying,
and you can see the blue
black crystal of
Tiangong as he
thrusts it towards Sentry as you run
past.
13 does not hit, however, as he's
just like, swipes
past as you go.
That was such an epic setup. He unveils
his weapon and
misses.
I mean, he's a frogman.
Anything else, Century, on your go?
I know that's good, thank you.
I don't want to lose concentration on my
enlarge. Yep, okay.
We'll finish off this round. The frogmoth
will look towards
hungrily towards Lucius
and Quillic.
No, not again.
Two tentacles and a tongue.
Lucius, that is a 21 to hit
you. Yeah.
Quill, that is a 20 to
hit you.
That one I will shield.
Thought you might.
It's pretty stupid
and it really hates Quill. It would probably
try and grab... Oh, actually, no. Lucius is
in front. It will tongue Lucius.
Sorry, I need to do a damage Lucius.
So that is
12,
15,
21 points of bludgeoning damage, Lucius.
And you are grappled.
And then it will tongue you.
For 27, you are pulled.
And then it will try and bite you.
For a 15.
Yeah.
15.
Go on.
Five. Six. five
six
twelve more points of piercing damage
and you are swallowed
I'm down
you are unconscious inside its belly
that was right on the money there
taste
they're not going anywhere
I am
I go down inside him
wait no no I go down inside him wait
wait
no
no
I need him out to heal him
you do you can't see him
in that case
I will do another
guiding bolt
on
him at level 5 this time.
Okay.
Because how do I love spending
spell slots?
46, so
I need to actually see if it hits first.
You do.
You can't nat 20 this one.
Oh, that's a 9.
That's 9.
18.
18 is a hit.
Perfect.
8d6 is 25 plus 17, which is like 100.
Wow.
32.
Not bad.
Oh, you did it twice.
42 damage. 42 damage.
42 damage. I'll make a saving throw
to see if it can retain
the creature in its stomach. DC 20.
It has plus 9 to this saving throw.
Of course, I roll a 7.
Once again,
you hear this kind of retching as
Lucius's unconscious body is
thrown up back onto the floor.
Yeah.
And just lands in a wet, mushy pile.
In a long time, injury check.
It is an injury check.
Constitution saving throw, please, Lucius.
And the DC would be more than enough.
More than enough.
And the DC would be more than enough.
More than enough.
But sensing a moment of potential danger,
Gloobor will move over to Lucius's body and place the tip of Tiangong's spear at Lucius's throat.
If you can't stand down, I shall kill your friend.
And that is where we're going to win today's episode god damn i don't think i don't think what what don't you think
it's just a statement it's just a statement i don't think i don't think
lord glooball will have his victory it's a trap oh god it was a trap all along it was a trap
of course it was of course it was guys i haven't brookstoned you in so long and I just felt I had to.
Never eat strange fruit.
Never eat strange fruit.
Never listen to creepy frogmen.
Thank you.
Goodbye.
It's time to end the madness.
Farewell. Thank you.
