Very first campaign's characters They were all level 15 When we started And they are in pursuit Of their friend's Soul contract Their companion A former player in pursuit of their friend's soul contract. Their companion, a former player, Trelemar Aleth, his soul contract, he made a bargain with Asmodeus near the end of our campaign,

and now they have come to Avernus to recover his soul contract. And in doing so, they become aware of some plots going on with Zariel and such. Up until now, they have been working with an Iranese called Khaleesa who has offered the party her aid in exchange for performing a task, which they have now done. That task was kill Arkhan the Cruel. Dunzo.

Dunzo. Complete. They travel to Arkhan's tower, they fought Arkhan, as well as his two companions, Toragar, Steelfist and Krull, as well as legions companions, Toragar, Steelfist and Kroll, as well as legions of undead and dragons and all sorts. They slew him, they've recovered the hand of Vecna, and now

they have travelled to a place called Fort Knucklebone. Khaleesa the Aranese has transported them there as a bit of a safe haven while they make their next steps, and overnight Khaleesa the Uranese approaches Alzra the Voidwalker and made a little offer.

Alzra you can feel it you can feel the power of not just Avernus but all of the hells bubbling in your veins. Eldritch powers that you never had access to just fill you. All of the training and the knowledge that you had gained as a servant of the Raven Queen is gone. Replaced with these new memories of power, of incantations and spells. And you are now

a 20th level warlock oh yeah we forgot to tell you that no I know that, you did tell me that but it's just level 20 the first level 20 in High Rollers yeah and it goes to the new girl

as I feel it should the rest of you you're all kind of sleeping separately to Alza. Alza had gone off with Khaleesa. The rest of you were kind of kind of huddled together underneath the sort of ramshackle kind of shanty tent

made from corrugated iron and some like bone-like planks. There it is. Of course it is. I was waiting for the bones to come out. It's always bones. There's a lava pool. And you are awoken after about eight hours of sleep and rest,

whatever you need, by the sound of metal whacking against metal. This kind of like... Clunk! Clunk, clunk. And as you kind of, your eyes open and you look around, you just see a little black raven creature, a kenku, looking at you. Clunk, clunk.

What is that? Why? What is that? Why? Clunk. Like the hazel-y voice. What is that? Why? That's what you sound like Tom. That's how they hear you. Oh jeez I'm going to stop talking. What?

And as you're looking around, you see a fiery skull just tearing across this fort, chasing after these little gnomes in red hats. And the skull is like Come back here, you worthless monsters! Where is my eye? And it shoots fire out of its mouth and the little gnomes are jumping out the way. We've fought one of those things

before, actually. I turned into a water elemental and put it... it was inside me and it was funny and okay cool i'm just like something that i've actually seen before and honestly that's not that weird and no i'm not as scared as that as everything else just just saying it's actually quite homely yeah something like that you know something that you recognize yeah big bird it's just a bird. Right? I mean, it's like a little

bipedal humanoid bird. It's like a raven. It's like a little raven that walks around on legs, but it doesn't fly. And it has arms. It has like

feathery arms rather than wings. I'm just picturing those birds with arms being like this. It's got like feathery arms, but yeah.

I think Alzra and Khaleesa emerge from a corner. Does Alzra look any different? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, what does Alzra look like? Cool.

So she was pale before, but now she's almost blue. Like her skin is almost blue, it's so pale. Like her eyes are just like where they were white before are just burning with like red demonic magic so your skin looks like dead like dead yeah and then she has two or four four let's do four massive horns four horns she's like six looks like a destiny mpc. She has two that curl up and massive ones that curl up towards the back of her neck.

And then she has two smaller ones that kind of frame her face that come forward. Oh my god. Oh. And you can see that Khaleesa is like hanging off of Alzra and just whispering in her ear. And like, is like literally like kind of like

And I think that we'll pretty much wrap up the session here, because this is a good point, with you drive for about a day across the plains without too much incident

but as you begin on the second day so you'll have a long rest so you get spells and stuff back on the second day as you are driving from a valley of mountains, these kind of obsidian black mountains you see more of these war machines in a convoy

coming along and coming towards you. Are they smiling? Are they defiling? We'll find out next time. Rock and roll! The defiler! Yes! That's awesome. I prefer to use defiler the smiler.

Yeah. As long as you help them they'll be friendly to you because they're not like true devils. So they don't really mind. I do fucking clunk and clunk and chuck are my favourite. I like pins and needles it Pins and Needles I like Mad Maggie

They're just two inmates that love Mad Maggie Fucking Mad Maggie's amazing as well She's a night hank who is basically like I'm a lovely old grandma but I'm also like from Mad Max she's Thunderdome.
