Welcome back to Althea the Dragon Empire. Our heroes are visiting the seaside town of Wavemeat in the Bronze Dragon province of the Suncrest Isles. After enjoying the sunny beach and local festivities at the Lavender Garden gaming halls, the party are about to set off on Gruffeth of Tremorro's latest nightly quest.

The Knight of the Loyal Hounds, Sir Joran Harper, aka The Barnacle Knight, has tasked Gruff with seeking out and slaying two powerful champions of the evil Embered Goddess of the Deep Sea, Ojanja. These champions and their minions have been killing and tormenting locals in the Isles, but they will need to be tracked down and slain. However, the night before the group leaves on such a quest, Sister Ophelia of the House of Blood sort out a drunken reveler, offering them gold in exchange for letting her feed on their blood.

Losing herself in the euphoric feeling, Ophelia has sort of come out of such a state, having nearly killed the young man, who is now unconscious in her hotel room and leaving behind a very, very bloody chair and pools of blood. And I believe that that is where we'll pick things off this week. You are in the lavish suite that you were paid for

by your friend Caliphras whilst you are remaining here, the Radiance Hotel here in Wavemeet. And these very opulent hotel rooms, grand luxury satin sheets, windows that look out onto the glittering city of Wavemeet, but slumped in a rather plush, velvet-cushioned armchair is an unconscious reveler. The young man, who I don't even know if you learnt their name.

No, or gender. No, well they're a man. They're a man, okay. They're a man, I can tell you that they are male, but you never learnt their name. And they are unconscious, very clear bite marks on the side of their neck. Blood completely staining their clothing, like their shirt,

and it has gone all over the chair. It is on the floor below the chair. It could have been worse. It could have completely coated this room, and this man could very much be dead. They are breathing, but it's shallow, unconscious, weak breathing, Sister Ophelia, and that is where we awaken.

you can just see their neck rising and falling, their chest filling in, attracting. This is fun. Okay, so I think Ophelia is gonna try and make the best of this situation. So I think what she's going to do first of all is her blood red makeup jar. She's going to basically smash it

and just like smear it everywhere as if she's like she's tripped maybe and like fallen over and she smashed her makeup on the ground and be like, whoopsie doopsie. That's why there's red everywhere. Accidents happen, oh no. That's the first stage of the plan. We've added to the red. Added to the red.

And then Ophelia is going to write a little note to this person with, I think she's gonna tuck like 50 gold into this note and just close it, put it on the pillow next to this fellow and the note shall read as followed.
