Did you lock the front door?
Check.
Close the garage door?
Yep.
Installed window sensors, smoke sensors, and HD cameras with night vision?
No.

There you are, pushing your newborn baby in a stroller through the park. The first time out of the
house in weeks. You have your Starbucks, venty, because, you know, sleep deprivation. You meet your
best friend, she asks you how it's going, you immediately begin to laugh, then cry, then laugh
cry, that's totally normal, right? She smiles, you hug, there's no one else you'd rather
share this with. You know, three and a half hour sleep is more than enough. Starbucks, it's
never just coffee.
Theathe the Dragon Empire, our heroes have traveled through the blood kelp forest and journeyed to
the border of the storm wall, this great ritual that has been conjured to protect Coral Song
and the wreck of the glory of Paladrax. In doing so, Xanthius stumbled onto a theory,
an idea of potentially disrupting this powerful ritual by attacking two of its sort of node
points, these thunderstorm columns, choosing either.
to destroy them, or perhaps for the magic users in the party
to try and disrupt them with their own power.
However, to do this, they will need to try and destroy
two of them simultaneously, which means they have split the party.
Split the fronds.
The fronds have been parted.
That's right.
And so they have travelled in different ways.
We have Xanthias, Daisy and Gruffeth in one team.
Team Kielsham.
Ophelia, Rowan and Yuga, the Caparin, Turtle Man.
Thunestruck.
In the other team.
The other team.
So good.
Perfect.
With that.
He says through a grimace.
This is so great.
I mean, I do like the ACDC voice.
I do like that.
You been Thundersdry.
Good.
That was good.
I do like the ACDC voice.
But yes, we have split the party and we have rolled initiative as action.
As actions have been taken, we are launching into the fray
to begin this dual-time split screen and combat.
2.5 remix.
This is like in a video game when it's suddenly like one player's doing one thing,
the other thing, you're in a cult game.
It's like split fiction.
Like the split screen thing from Lost Odyssey.
Yeah, great game.
Time crisis, the prison one.
Yeah, time crisis or dead space.
A way out.
A way out.
The prison one.
Yeah, so that's where we're at.
The prison game.
Prison game, where you no longer in the prison,
you have to be gone.
You have to find something.
With that, we are jumping straight in.
Daisy is up in the initiative first.
Katie's not here, so I will do my best to control Daisy.
I will generally try and do basic moves
unless you tell her to do something specifically.
They're all right.
So she will swim.
It's half movement, don't forget.
I'm going to remind you guys, you are at half speed.
I'm wondering if to suggest that she holds her action to move up and attack after we've done...
So she can only move once with that, because remember you have to move as you hold an action,
you hold the action not the movement.
Well, you've done the control water.
No, I haven't.
Oh, I thought that was like the opening.
She can only get to there with one move anyway, and she needs to be within 30 feet to attack.
so she could go at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25.
She can get to there with a bonus action to dash.
That would leave her 5, 10, 15, 20.
Still just out of range, but she will move up to...
Is it disadvantage to throw further or?
There is no cover to really get.
It would be at disadvantage.
With underwater, there is a limit on the range.
Like it is, because you're already at disadvantage anyway
for, like, throwing stuff.
The hand crossbow can literally only shoot 30 feet
and then it loses power.
The other thing, sorry, so did Graf do the control water?
No, that's going to be, that's going to be, yeah,
because you got, and that's, you rolled initiative.
Sorry, I thought that was the star.
I gave the bardic because it was more of like a doing the big speech thing,
but it's going to, because it's also only a bone section.
You go ahead, do it.
So that is going to be Daisy.
She will hold her action to attack once she can.
Because I would say that once the cube is created,
she's not shooting through water.
Yeah.
So actually throwing the knife or shooting would be easier at that point.
Sure, sure, sure, sure.
So I will hold Daisy's action.
Try and remember that for me.
Unfortunately, even though you guys were with advantage...
No.
Over on the other side, the Surge Binder over here,
who hasn't noticed that you guys are approaching yet,
but it is their initiative and is going to...
So this is Thundershocks, Surge Binder.
I'm not going to remember your team names.
This is Battle Drone.
Thunderstruck.
Thunderstruck.
Sorry.
You'll kill shock.
You said Thunder Shock, which is...
I think if they were at the bottom of the screen
in Comic Sans animated, we'd remember the tips.
I wouldn't, because I'm not looking at that.
As a learning aid, yeah.
I'm going to say that because we were on a shit of, like,
and as I said, there's a little bit of cover for you guys.
You guys have a chance to maybe try and approach stealthily.
So this hasn't detected you yet.
So I'm just going to have them not doing a thing, but maybe...
Can I decalper's corner?
I will allow it, even though it will ruin my awesome map aesthetics.
Pass it here, actually, let me put it at the back.
In the back corner.
Well, I'll put it like in the middle back here.
Rowan just terraformed.
So, I won't have the MacChap because there is still a chance
for you guys to approach stealthily and you've not taken any direct action yet.
Which brings us back over to, I'm going to say,
Gruff and Rowan are tied.
So we'll go with Gruthurst as team leader privilege.
You would split the teams.
Trots making faces.
Well, because Gruff is the leader of the whole quest,
is the team leader for the whole quest.
So Gruff.
I'd refer to you.
So this is, and you can do it from 300 feet,
where this is the control water, right?
So action to cast control water.
Yes, so I would like,
I kind of had this idea that Serran being an ice diver
shoots through the water, obviously this is just thematic,
she'll shoot through the water in a straight line,
to where the bad guys are
and where she swims,
the water starts to churn and part
where she went.
Hell yeah.
Is it a hundred foot cube?
It says, until the spell ends,
you control any water inside an area you choose
that is a cube up to 100 feet on a side.
On a side?
Yeah, and then specifically for part water,
you part water in the area and create a trench.
The trench extends across the spell's area
and the separated water
forms a wall to either side.
The trench remains until the spell ends,
or you choose a different effect.
Okay.
So what I'm going to say,
just for the ease of the battle map,
because 100 feet is from the back of the battle map
to about 15 feet in front of you.
So all of that is now land.
Oh my God.
So the two creatures kind of fall a little bit.
They were only hovering about six feet or so,
so I'm not going to have them like fall prone or take any damage.
But they look visibly confused.
The only section of water that still exists
is almost like a funnel, like a spout,
around the pillar itself
and ejecting into the storm wall
is this magically divine-touched water of Ojania.
That has not been affected by the spell.
And so it's still channeling the lightning up into the storm wall,
but the entire space around it is now open air.
And you've seen these creatures,
they can breathe air at least for some time.
You're not sure if it's indefinitely.
but so they're confused and they immediately turn around
and see this threat coming towards them.
But that's your action gruff,
you still have movement in a bonus action.
I just love the idea of Sarah.
And is that concentration?
Yeah, concentration.
All righty, so that's good to know.
I just love the idea of Serent just like shooting out.
Yeah, the water parts.
Like Moses.
That Moses it is.
Yeah, 100 foot cube is crazy as well.
I'm going to activate my...
There's 100 foot on a side,
but I'm going to assume it's basically like a trench
wide enough to cover this entire area.
You can control up to that as well,
so you can not do the flow.
So I can change the effect,
I can change it to the other effects that I have as well.
You can do like well thoughts and stuff.
Yeah, it doesn't have to be.
But in this case, I'm gonna make it, yeah,
because I want my friends to have.
Why not? Max it out.
It's so much easier for Daisy to fight, right?
Like if she gets her full range and stuff.
Damn, so huge.
Also, we don't have to go far to make use of it as well.
I will activate my armor of Oak and Thorns.
Bonus action.
And I will move up.
Oh, 5, 10, 15, 20.
So you would move half movement, so it'd be 10, 20, 25, and now you're on land, right?
So once you kind of fall out of this parted wave of, you know, curtain of water.
So you can go 30 and then have you got 35?
You come diagonally towards me, just a little bit of very, oh, does that just put me in a line with Daisy though?
It has?
Can I not be in a line with Daisy?
You want to go this way?
Okay.
So you are now out in the open air,
and you've moved forward.
Move and action bonus action.
So you are done, gruff.
Dap me.
If you can water breathe, but you're in air.
Do you die?
No.
No, you get double oxygen.
Double oxygen.
Rowan.
Rowan is going to stealth, I think.
Okay.
So keep in mind, you're going to be moving at half speed
because you're swimming.
If you stealth, you're going to be halving that again.
So you will go like 10 feet.
You can dash, yeah, but you would still be moving at half speed.
So, and I will need a stealth roll from you.
Ophelia, what's your plan?
Well, my plan was to use this net,
and then I was just going to charge straight at the big brute
and try to, you know, overwhelm him.
Okay.
Then I had veracity, so that I was going to use that opportunity to then strike.
Right.
Yes.
What was your plan?
I'll wait for you, then.
I'll move my smallest amount.
Just so, actually, I can see big guy, right?
Yeah.
Hold my action until Ophelia attacks them if they're able to.
With stealth or not with stealth?
Not with stealth now.
Okay.
So you begin swimming, so you can go 5, 10, 15.
Your movement's 30 feet, right?
Yes.
Yep.
So you kind of get to there.
You swimming, because you're creating like, you know,
pulses and currents in the water, you're kind of splash around.
Like, I'm going to roll to see if this guardian beast detects you.
You see it spin around as it locks its beady crab-like eyes on your own.
You points its giant claw in your direction.
Reflexively casts dissonant whispers on them.
Okay.
So wisdom save 15.
Wisdom save 15?
16, I'm afraid.
Still half damage.
Half damage, I believe.
I did it at
third level.
It's my final third level slot.
Actually, no. Yes.
So that is 5D6.
Okay.
Halfed.
Four.
Oh, nice.
19 halves.
Eight.
Nine.
Correct.
You've got these dice.
Nine seconds.
So you reach out into this creature's mind
and something
connects there and you try and throw these images of horror and fear and into it,
but it's such an alien mind, it doesn't seem to quite find the same purchase.
It certainly recoils as if wounded by something,
but does not seem to be an abject terror, as you might expect.
I'm feeling you might want to net them now.
Okay.
So you've moved, Rowan, you've used your action, bonus action?
Um, no.
All righty, in that case, it is another, uh,
Ty, but I'm going to go with the person who I think has a high-dex,
which is Ophelia.
Yeah, so Ophelia is going to begin of raging,
and while she does so, she's going to draw veracity outwards
and pounce forward with her half movement as her rage.
So what's your normal movement?
50, so it's half my movement forward.
So 5, 10, 15, 20, 25.
Get you about here, unfortunately.
So you are about 5, 10, 15, you're about 15, 20 feet away from the creature.
Cool.
And then I'm going to move 10 feet, no.
Let's just go right into its range.
So you're going to dash as an action?
Well, that's my bonus action.
I can move half my movement as I rage.
Oh, you can move half your movement as you rage.
That's a cool thing.
Is that like a new feature?
That's a new feature, yeah.
Oh, that's very cool.
So then you can use the rest of your movement to just get into melee.
So you just like open combat just like immediately in their face now.
That's so good.
Especially when your movement's base 50 and you get to move 25 when you rage.
So first, basically you move 75.
Ah, so when you moved half, so you move half speed when you rage,
but it would be halved again because you're underwater.
So you would have only gone, I'd say 15, I'll round it up.
So you would have gone, uh, 510, 15, 15.
But it's still like 25.
510, 15, 20, 25.
Yes, it'll get into LA.
It makes it.
Yeah.
Even like swimming just like,
boosh, psh, oh.
I figure she's getting closer with this net.
She realizes that the brute is way bigger.
And also you can see that like these thick, you know, muscular shirt,
like there is thick muscular, this creature is strong.
So she's just gonna.
This little weighted net, uh, it's designed for like normal people sized,
not super strong things.
Yeah, so she's gonna strike with veracity.
And I'm just gonna do normal attack to start with, no redless.
21 to hit, no 50, yes, 21 to hit.
21 will hit.
And I've got Bardick, so that's, is that a D8 on top?
It doesn't add to damage.
It's just your attack.
You add it to ability checks, saving throws, or skill checks.
You have to be a certain type of bard to add it to damage rolls.
Okay, cool.
No problem, all.
First hit is six, seven, eight with my rage, total damage.
Eight points of damage.
That gives me a blood point to start with.
Like, bloid.
Yeah.
And then...
Yeah, you strike into the creature managing to find a sort of gap
in between its crab-like plates.
You can use it to answer.
your attack roll. Yes. Sweet. All right. But now I've got Vex for this next one.
So you have advantage. On the next strike. 1320 to hit for the next one. It's. Beautiful.
Another D8. And I'm going to add the six from my bloint. So that's 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 16 damage on the second strike.
16 points of damage. So you see with these two powerful thrust, it embeds into the creature. And you can see that you've
cause some damage to this thing in between its armor plating.
But it roars back, the water kind of bubbling in front of it as it does.
Cool.
It is enraged as well.
Nice.
All right.
End of turn?
Yeah, I'm just going to say.
In that case, then it's Xanthius.
Nice.
I, with this new wall, only 15 feet in front of me, I have 30 feet of movement.
I will just kick forward to...
So it'd be 10, 20.
So it's the same as graph, 25, you'll.
you're now out so you can be just behind gruff.
I will breach the wall,
and the moment I break through into the air,
I will launch a fireball at these two creatures.
And the pillar as well.
And the pillar.
Right.
Yes, no, wait.
I do it glowing with mage rage as well.
Inate source rain.
So I have two uses of that.
I'll use one now.
So yeah, I burst out of the wall.
and throw a fireball,
which means they need to make a death saving throw.
Nope.
No, they make dexterity saving throw.
Dexterity saves.
For the giant big guard, that is gonna be a 17.
17, I believe, will beat it anyway.
Meet it, beat it.
The other, the Stormbinder though, that's only an eight.
Only an eight, great.
So full damage to him, half damage to the big creature.
The pillar will automatically fail the dexterity saving throw.
but it is resistant to fire damage.
Oh, it is resistant, okay, even out of water.
The pillar, the stone pillar, yes.
Oh, of course, yeah, yeah.
But the Stormbiter is going to take the full damage.
They're going to take max damage as well.
8D6, not max damage, all right, that's 10, 12, 14,
18, 21, 29 fire damage.
points of damage, so that would be 14-halfed.
Yes.
Yeah, you watch as this bead of orange light
kind of flies out of Xanthius's hands
detonates literally around the storm binder.
These creatures, like so unused to fire,
perhaps never even experienced it in their lives,
quickly sort of padding at their carcasses
with their claw like appendages,
not really sure what to do in this scenario.
Nice.
Yeah, like this is just completely,
completely engulfed.
Did Daisy hold attacks as well?
Yeah, I was about to say, Daisy held action.
Yes, that's right, held an action.
So I will have her attack.
She won't get sneak attack on this, unfortunately,
because she does not have any allies.
Every little helps.
There's a surprise.
So that is going to hit.
No, because I'm not going to say it was like full on.
No, yeah, yeah.
It's kind of slightly different.
So that's the 21, she still hits.
Hell yeah.
Four.
Just six points of damage, unfortunately.
On which one so?
Which one would you like her to have attacked?
Spell, big guy.
Big guy?
Okay.
Stormbinder.
The big guy is the hulking guard.
The big lad.
So yeah, the radio blade does sink into it,
but does not seem to have a full effect
as Stacy is not able to strike its vulnerable points.
Nice, what an opening.
What an opening?
Fantastic, you done?
That was your bonus section, yeah.
That was pretty much a full turn.
Rowan is sticking to himself, man.
Team Thunderstruck.
Okay.
We must be ace in this right now.
In battle two, this big lad.
You mean team kill shock?
Five, ten, fifteen, fifteen, two.
Oh, here he comes.
I was going for Daisy.
30.
Uh, yeah, he stomps up, you know, surging forward.
With one giant claw, he's going to go for Daisy.
But then he is going to, with a jet, like kind of almost fires it out of
this mouth, like super pressurized water
from its internal system,
he's going to shoot a blast of water at Gruff.
So against Daisy,
that is going to be a 25 to hit.
Oh, God, okay.
She takes 11 points of damage,
but is also grappled by the claw
and is now restrained by the claw.
Okay, Dan.
Does Daisy have the Dex evade damage thing?
I could half the damage for her, yes.
I could half it by, so she would only take five.
She will still take the grappled condition.
Sure, yeah, yeah.
But I might as well use her reaction to use uncanny dodge.
Yeah.
And then Gruffeth, a jet of water.
That is a 26.
Nice are very hot today.
Does not yet.
It does.
That is eight points of bludgeoning damage.
I will need a concentration check.
10.
Yeah, it's wisdom, isn't it?
Constitution.
Constitution saving throw.
I will get it.
Four plus four.
Eight.
You watch as the control water, the water from all the sides fills back in.
You got the fireball off.
We did get the fireball.
That's a massive opening.
I would say that you have enough time to kind of brace yourselves as the water so you don't take any damage or anything like that.
But unfortunately, the water just fills back into the space as these creatures seem to become.
reorientated as they do so.
And it does manage to hold tight to Daisy.
I'm not done with it, unfortunately.
As a bonus action, I'm going to use Hardin!
Let's go Hardin!
As his armour seems to grow thick,
like it seems to very rapidly grow
and covers up some of those protected joints,
increasing their AC.
It's like a freaking forest, in it?
Cocoon, ass.
Yeah, cacuna ass, exactly.
I don't know why I thought cacuna first.
That's weird. Yuga.
It says a lot.
It does.
Yuga is going to swimmer who does have a swim speeds.
Yuga!
Yuga!
10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, is actually going to swim up.
I believe, was the plan for Yuga to start trying to disrupt the ritual,
or do you want him to help fight?
I...
Team leader Rowan?
Yes.
What is Yuga doing?
I don't know.
What do you want him to do?
Fight.
End, we're going to end these two.
Okay, we'll end these two.
Okay, okay, okay, in that case.
Because they're not disrupting the stone.
He will swim off to the side instead,
and with his sort of very rudimentary,
it's made from like driftwood and pieces of like, you know,
underwater materials.
He fires this crossbow.
Nice.
Natural, natural 20.
Oh my God.
Best of us.
So that is going to be 8, 9, 10, plus another 8.
8, like, max, that literally max damage,
18 damage to the big guy.
So that's going to be...
Fucking hell Team Thunderstruck.
Which is so good.
Just nail it.
Which bloodies the giant creature.
Wait, does enough damage to knock it into bloody.
It did already take a lot of damage from Ophelia and Rowan.
So the crossbow belt thuds into like an enjoin
and you see this dark blue blood begin to spill out.
As a, that's his action.
He only gets the one attack.
He's more of a sort of support kind of character.
You guys haven't been hit yet, have you?
So he will, that's it.
That's all he's going to do is just fire his crossbow.
And then reload.
The best.
Then it is, the best.
Everybody else's go.
For simplicity, I'm going to have the...
Hello?
Hello?
Are we okay?
We're discussing tactics.
I know, but it's just, I'm trying to concentrate on this cross talk.
Sorry.
No, it's fine, but I just needed a minute.
The giant guard is...
So anyway.
Other battle, I hate you, is going to attack.
He's going to do the same thing.
He's going to try and grab Ophelia with his giant claw.
He's going to water jet at Yuga, and then he's going to use hardness as bonus action.
So, Ophelia, that's not so good.
That is a 15 to it.
No, Sarin.
All right.
So with your...
Thanks for the...
your carapus, your armoured scarab,
the claw does not find purchase,
and then poor Yuga.
Ooh, might be okay, and 14.
As a reaction, he will go into his shell.
Oh, nice.
Does mean he's not going to be able to act next turn.
So he basically goes in his little shell,
the water jet kind of bounces off his shell,
and he spins, but it's going to take him a minute to come back.
That's awesome.
So he is dazed, but it does not hit him.
Then he will use Hardin for 3AC as well.
Three AC as well.
C.
C.
Cricy.
Right, then the Storm Binders.
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty-five, thirty-five.
In fact, actually, I'll just go here on this corner.
This guy is going to swim around, staying behind his friend.
but they are going to use lightning lash
and they're going to make two lightning lash attacks.
Five, two, 15, 20, 25, 30.
Gruff is sadly just in range.
One against Daisy, one against Gruff.
Against Daisy's only 11 as this kind of whip of lightning
that arcs through the water.
Would it be with advantage?
Because she's grappled.
Oh, she's restrained.
It would be with advantage.
Thank you.
That was still bad.
so it still misses.
Perhaps too afraid of injuring its friend,
it does not strike, but then against Gruff,
that is 21.
Oh.
It does hit.
I think you're a liar.
But Kim says it doesn't hit.
But I think it does hit.
I think Kim's a liar.
I loaded up my half find a character.
Fair, that's four good.
For our, coming one shot.
I had 600 A.C.
This is gonna be for 16 lightning damage
and you cannot take reactions until the
end of your nest.
Oh, range shocking grass.
On the other side,
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, that Yuga is just out of range.
So it's gonna try and lightning lash Ophelia twice.
Nice.
First one is gonna miss, that's only an eight.
Cool.
You are not grappled, so I don't get it.
And the next one is a 14.
Hell yeah.
So both times you managed to kind of,
you know, nimbly avoid to the sides
as this whip of lightning kind of cracks around you.
around you.
Nimble.
Keep going.
Just keep going.
Don't go.
I'm going to. Go.
I'm not going to move forward.
I'm not going to do it.
Daisy.
Nimble.
You.
Oh my God.
You damaged the pillar on your side of battle.
Yeah, but I did it in like a respectful way.
So you see that sections of the pillar were broken away by the force of the fireball.
Yeah.
But now, as the water has rushed back in
as Gruff lost concentration on the spell,
some of that water seems to take on a form.
Fuck off, don't it.
As a...
Behind me.
This sort of creature of living water
is gonna rush towards you and Gruffeth.
I need you both to make strength saving through.
I'm so good at those.
I'm so good at strength.
You want to roll it together?
You guys would be fine then.
Oh dear.
Oh, my, fuck.
10.
Four.
It doesn't do any damage to you, but it sort of flows through you.
No, it doesn't.
Creating a vortex, 510, 15, 20.
Don't move me.
No, don't move me.
Actually, don't move me.
As it rushes through you.
I'm serious, don't move me.
I've got a thing.
Oh, okay.
I have a thing as well.
Okay.
Oh, you have advantage, don't you,
because of Armour of Oak and Thorn?
Yeah, to being push-pull-prone.
Okay, great, then give me another problem of the same through?
No.
Okay, what's by yours?
When an attack spell or other effect can cause you to be push-pulled or not prone,
I can expend one charged run to remain where I am.
Oh, do you have a charged run?
Yeah, I do.
5, 10, 15, 20, 20.
All right, so you Zanthias, with your runes,
managed to kind of force this power out of you that holds you in place
as this living water seems to try and rush you forward.
Gruff, unfortunately, you are taken with the surge,
even with your armor of oaken thorpe, and thought,
perhaps because there is nothing living for it to grab onto just yet,
you are surged forward towards the enemy, unfortunately,
as, yeah, the living water is hampering your efforts.
So that's a full thing now.
That wasn't just a one time of it.
Didn't do any damage.
Oh.
But it does seem to remain as a creature.
Right, right, right, right.
Then we jump back up to the very tip top with Daisy.
Daisy has been grappled.
Would you like Daisy to try and escape
or would you like her to attack?
She would be at disadvantage, but she can attack.
Escape, I think.
So, I'll be a full action to escape, right?
It would be a full action.
And a strength save?
I would allow her to use acrobatics to try.
It's pretty acrobatic-y.
It would be a full action.
But then she could bonus action attack,
which would have sneak attack.
Right?
Sure.
I think it's an offhand attack.
It is, but I think that the wording on the ability
is you have to attack first,
and then as a bonus action, you can make a second attack.
I see, I see.
Well, I think she would try to.
It's not just normal dual wielding,
it's like a special thing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think she would, she tried to break out, right?
Yeah, she tried her.
Um, okay.
Get out.
Snap.
After you attack with the blade on your turn,
you can make a melee arranged attack
with a second blade as a bonus action.
So she has to attack to get that bonus section.
Get it out.
See, I see, I see.
Yeah, I think she would break.
She could like swim away as a bonus section
or like disengage and stuff like that.
Disengage for bonus, yeah.
So you'd like her to try and escape?
Yes.
She succeeds.
Hell yeah.
So she will then disengage and she will swim 15 feet.
Remember it's half movement.
No, you were going to do that.
Five, ten, 15.
She will swim away.
Okay.
But again, half movement, so limited.
And now is bonus action disengage.
Yes, so she has...
Bonus action disengage, so she is fine.
Nice.
Good shit.
Then we go to Gryffeth.
Sorry, no, it is the Stormbinder on this side.
My idea was actually, they had already gone,
and I'd forgotten, because I'm running two combat simultaneously.
So their attacks against you wouldn't have mattered anyway,
because they'd already attacked.
So now they would have moved.
I would just say that I'll use the same old, so they miss you twice.
Cool, no worry.
Then we're up to date with it.
No problem.
And it's also to speed it up.
Gruff.
Hmm.
I am contemplating.
Can I?
Hmm.
I might just attack.
Just regular, smegular?
The wriggly one.
The wriggly one?
Yeah, because I'm just very aware that, I don't know.
I would say that the storm binder did seem badly wounded by that fireball.
Like, you can see that armor that Carapace is quite.
quite scorched, they are bloodied.
Can I cycle around to the Storm Binder
without creating an offer of attack?
Yes, so if you would want to make a melee attack.
Yes, you can in fact actually.
So the water elemental doesn't.
It's not an elemental.
You don't know what it is.
It doesn't attack, it didn't do anything, no.
Okay, cool, whang it.
10 plus 18 to hit.
Against the surge binder will,
normally hit, however, I am going to have the Guardian Hulk.
You see it kind of reaches out an arm
and grows a shield of Kiten in its hand
and it protects its power.
It's gonna spend four points of its AC
to give that AC to its other friend.
So it kind of grows the shield,
which breaks away as soon as you strike it,
but that causes the attack to miss, I'm afraid.
Cool, I have two attacks.
You do have two attacks, though.
No, five plus eight.
Thirteen to hit.
It's not enough, I'm afraid.
Oh, I would have bonus action cost shololet as well.
Yeah, that's fine.
No problem.
Unfortunately, it does protect.
And it seems that these creatures are meant to work in tandem
as you see it kind of reached out on armor
grows this thing to protect.
So that guy now has lower AC because of it.
You do see that its armor seems to have grown thinner
and it has sacrificed its own defense
to protect its mates.
Very good.
Big mistake here.
Big mistake here.
I'm excited my trap.
So Gruff, that is your turn.
We then go to Rowan.
Rowan is going to look at Stormbinder.
Mm-hmm.
The Stormbinder.
And is going to attack its mind.
Okay.
Could you give me a wisdom saving throw, please?
One wisdom save throw, coming right on up.
That is a 13.
Yes.
I polymorph it.
Okay.
Into one of those sylphanes.
Those what?
The silenil, silly.
The silmaria.
Oh, Silma?
They're not a creep, they're not a beast.
It has to be like an animal.
Chicken.
I mean, yeah.
Just because, like, you know, it's a different.
Silma have like a whole different stat block, basically.
We can say that visually it's a silma, but it has the stats.
It's an underwater chicken.
It has a stats of a chicken, but it looks like a silmet.
Yeah.
Can I actually be a baby seal?
Yeah.
You turn into a baby seal.
This baby seal is marked by the six.
Ophelia, don't touch the seal.
I mean, it's adorable, I wouldn't anyway.
That's the intention.
So cute.
Except for pets.
It sort of just looks angrily,
looking at itself, trying to figure out what's happened.
I look to Yuga, who's to my right,
and I look deeply into his turtle eyes
and give the thumbs up.
thumbs up and a connection of green energy
connects between our thumbs as he gains bardic instruction.
Amazing, love it.
Perfect, bardic inspiration for Yuga.
We then go to Ophelia.
Yeah, Phelia's just gonna wail on the big guy once more.
Okay.
First strike with veracity.
This isn't gonna be with reckless or anything.
11, math, 18 to hit.
18 just barely hits it because it used Harden.
Okay.
Harden.
Oh, I didn't.
So, and I use a bloint.
So that's.
I fucked up primal strike again.
I thought that it was only when I was in one shape,
so I could have rolled a D8.
That's to the damage, not to the attack roll.
But I didn't even damage it, did I?
Yeah.
So it's fine.
What are we looking at?
14 damage on the first strike.
14 damage.
Looking pretty badly hurt.
Sorry, Team Leader Gruff.
And then I'm gonna use.
Yeah, Vex.
I've got Vex, I'm also gonna use Rowan's Bardick
for this next strike.
Oh, okay.
Make sure it lands.
18, I mean 18 plus six plus seven.
So that's probably gonna hit.
Yes.
Also get to do the following.
They make a constitution save?
Yeah, and you get to add some lightning damage
which should be halved.
Thunder, right?
Okay, cool.
Thunder damage.
So, is the same for.
That is gonna be 15.
15, is it?
That beats it.
Beets it.
It's no effect, I believe.
Yeah.
Cool, no problem, oh.
So just normal damage from Ophelia.
We're gonna have a bloint.
So that's all my bloints used up.
Rockin.
What did roll of D20? What are you doing?
Mental.
What I say, bloint.
That's what I said.
Uh...
9, 10, 11, 12 damage on the second strike.
strike. It is looking really, really rough. That's these two strikes, even with its hardened
carapace, the Veracity's tip is breaking through and being a piercing weapon is perfectly suited
to, you know, thrusting through the water and retaining all of its power. Yeah.
Nice, nice. Fantastic. That's it. I might skirt around the rocks just to go behind it a little
bit, but other than that. Sure. Yeah, you can swim over it as well, don't forget. So you can
like, boom. Yeah. As long as you don't get more than spiked away. Yeah. Um, fantastic.
All right, end of turn.
That is end of turn, thank you.
Okay, Xanthius.
Howdy Charms?
Let's go, Xanthia.
Seeing the...
You're the four-armed nerd.
He's more than bloodied, right?
Yeah, the Stormbinder, which is the one with four-arms,
is bloodied and is quite injured.
The large creature has shed most of its carapace.
It has taken some injuries, but it doesn't look too bad.
but it has shed some of its carapids,
which is in the process of regrowing.
So it looks more...
Did you get it?
No, it's here.
Okay, I'm going to cast something different,
and it'll be very obviously not my favorite spell.
I'm going to do Chromatic Orb.
Okay.
Second level.
So boosted damage, if I do hit with this.
Okay.
It will be, I think, 48 of damage.
I'm going to cast this immediately on the Storm Surger.
Okay.
No?
That's the one that...
That is not the one that's got the lower AC.
No, but...
I just wanted to check.
I went to make sure that you weren't confused of my description of which one had the lower AC.
I'm never confused.
Okay. All right, go for it.
Was it a reaction for that guy to use a shield?
Ah, it was, yes.
Okay, so he can't do it again.
He has not had his turn yet, so no.
So I'm going to hit the Storm Zone.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yes.
And it's gonna be an at 20 as well.
It was not. It was a 20.
23.
23 hits?
Hell yeah, so that is 4D8 of damage.
Where are all of your D8s?
One.
I struggle with this too, but I swear I have the same amount as everyone else.
I'll just do two and then double up.
Right, 4D8.
And if any, everybody would match.
Oh, this is also going to be, let's go with, I can't do psychic.
Oh, God, my brain.
Not fire, not acid, not cold, not lightning, not poison, not thunder.
Not you.
No, not Hermione, you.
Wait, I can't do any of these.
These are all off.
Acid or poison.
Acid or poison.
Which one was it?
I'm going to go poison.
You're going to go poison damage?
Okay.
Yep.
So that's an 8.1 for 9.
Roll than 8 in a 1, so just remember that if there's any doubles.
No doubles.
Damn it, it doesn't change.
Why would I even cast this at a higher level?
because you get more likely.
Yeah, I know.
So nine plus what we've got now?
20.
20, total.
And they take the full damage as well
because they're not resistant to poison
even though everyone's laughing at me for 15 poison.
Just re-gave me the best face.
Well, actually,
actually, Tom Hesel is right.
They were resistant to acid previously.
You have not tried poison damage yet.
We take our faces back.
The only creatures that do have poison resistance,
I think, are the knights,
are the knights you have the poison shield.
That's a great dance.
But you had not tried.
These are also new enemies, but no.
So they are resistant to exit, but not poison.
Hey, I'm a team player.
The orb.
And then I hate myself.
The orb flies out.
It strikes the creature, covering it in this dark reddish kind of liquid
that seems to seep into its wounds from the fireball.
As you watch it convulse and spasm as it is killed.
Wow.
We're in the lead.
Tom Hazel, you're the best of us.
Thank you, I know.
I am not Mattoe, though.
Anything else, Tom, on your turn, move on.
Oh, yeah, there's a whole other than the rest of this nightmare.
There's stuff you can go.
I think I'm gonna stay where I am,
because I feel happy here.
This is my safe space.
Bonus action, I'm gonna just,
that's it, that's it.
I'm just gonna say, that's it.
That's it.
Okay, all right.
I'm done.
In that case, on your,
wait, Jesus.
Sorry, no.
He's getting cerebral.
I have, I had advantage on the attack roll
because of my innate sorcery.
It wasn't at 20, it was exactly the same.
Okay, carry on.
That's good to know.
The guard on your side, Gruff and Xantheus,
is going to, first thing it's gonna do is use Hardin.
Hardin.
Pardon me.
Nice.
Fuck you.
I only gets one AC back.
I hate that one so much.
rough, it is gonna attempt to claw you.
Natural 20.
Oh shit.
Oh my God.
It simply does not hit.
Simply does, I'm afraid to tell you.
That is gonna be
16 plus 26 slashing damage and you are grappled
whilst you are grappled, you're also restrained.
Then Xanthius, it is as is angry you for killing its friend.
It's gonna shoot its water jet at you.
Good luck.
Natural 20 at day.
Oh my God.
The fucking joke, the old Dagger Heart D20, baby.
Two nought 20s in a row, I'll take that, thank you very much.
Oh, boy, howdy.
I mean, are you guys that surprised at this point, 10 years in?
No, no, no, no.
I'll switch to the other D20.
I'll switch to the old glittany.
No, no, no, keep going.
You sure?
Keep it.
Keep it.
It's free.
It's just dice, right?
Just dice.
Just dice.
Well, that's going to be 20 points of bludgeoning damage to Xantheus, as you are.
as you are hit by this concussive force of water,
like a mantis shrimp, it shoots this super, super forced water at you.
Yeah.
And I make a noise that sounds like I've just folded in it myself.
As it strikes you, but that is its turn, bonus action,
doesn't need to move.
In fact, actually, it will move a little bit.
No, actually, no, it won't move, it's fine.
It won't move, it will just hold gruff in its hands.
Oh, beautiful.
So that's the guardian on that side.
Yuga, what'd you like Yuga to do?
Shoot the big monster?
Shoot the big monster.
Yeah, not the seal.
No, not the seal, big monster, please.
Attack big guy?
Yeah, shoot the poison arrow for his heart, heart.
Oh, that's still gonna be 18 to hit.
That hits.
Which does hit, because, yeah, meat's it just barely hits it.
He does max damage.
He does not do max damage, I'm afraid.
He does do nine points of damage, though.
That's pretty good, pretty good.
which is actually it's already really weakened.
Is this enough?
Oh, not quite.
You can see that this creature,
one of its eyes bursts as the crossbow bolt
strikes it in the eye,
and kind of stumbles around a little bit.
Thunderstruck to Kill Shock.
This is Kill Shock, yep.
We are close to Downing the Great Hulk.
Over?
Good job, can confirm we've just,
we've killed the four-armed one.
What?
Over already?
And the other one is looking pretty weak,
but it is currently.
Not this!
Sorry, sorry.
Back in a sec.
The guard, the guarding Hulk on the other side now,
it is going to Hardin, bonus action.
Classic.
Hardin.
Another Hardin.
So we'll bring it to,
currently.
And then I think it is going to,
Afili, you're a real problem for it, that's the problem.
It is going to, oh, actually, this is perfect.
I don't think this creature, it sees the seal.
It doesn't know what this baby, it's like,
why is this baby seal here?
It doesn't know that it's its friend.
So you watch as it brings its whole body in
and then all of it grows extra,
like the armor gets thicker and thicker more plates,
and then it violently erupts as it uses pressurized water in its body
to break and split the carapace,
causing it to explode outwards.
That's dope.
You and the seal both need to make dexterity saving throws.
Sick.
I want to have that move.
Vantir.
Seal fails.
Is this a self-discopter or is it?
Unnatural 20 for me.
Unnatural 20.
So that is going to be half damage.
Sick.
And you don't take the extra effect as well.
This is bludgeoning.
Like, so how much?
So that's going to be another.
That's going to be six.
This is slashing.
So you will hark it anyway.
So, in fact, actually.
Smashing.
Smashing.
Did you say Uma-Masume?
It was, yes.
You did, yeah, okay.
We'll get all the SFO in.
We have to do...
Marozensky!
Special week!
Hollow Night Silk Song.
Nine, twelve, twelve,
seventeen...
Graph has bought a six trailer.
Eighteen.
What?
Nineteen, so it would be nine,
halved again to only four, slashing damage.
Nice.
The seal will take one point of damage
and then take 18 points of damage as it's normal self.
Damn.
As it is shredded by this armor as well.
As yeah, it just explodes.
Oh, and I should have said that did cost me a fate to use as well.
That's an awesome move.
It's explosive armor, explosive character.
Did it do to?
It did 19 damage total.
So I took one HP off for a baby seal
and then I dealt 18 damage to it.
Dope. Yeah. Perfect.
Which is great timing.
It's already had its go.
The one on the other side is dead,
which leads us to...
2-2-2-2.
The living water
is going to now surge up to Daisy.
Okay.
I'm gonna have Daisy, unfortunately,
we'll have to make a strength saving throw.
We'll get yarted.
Well, this one's gonna do something different this time.
Oh.
Minus one for a five.
You watch as the living water swoops in,
engulfs Daisy inside,
and literally is gonna carry her away.
Oh, oh.
Oh, oh.
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty, five.
So there's water under water that has just captured it.
Is this SpongeBob?
I don't know what it means.
but it seems to just engulf her
and surges her away from the rest of the team
and is holding on it.
It's like a grapple, effectively.
Katie said not to let Daisy die.
She didn't say anything about becoming a secret.
Just being stolen.
Well, you guys haven't damaged the pillar
or interrupted the ritual yet, so nothing happens over here.
So we go to Daisy.
Daisy is not grappled, grappled,
so she can break free easily enough.
but she's just pulled away from it, basically.
She does find that swimming through is even harder,
so it's either go around it or go through it.
So 5, 10, 15, 20.
I don't know, 15, and then she can dash.
5, 10, 15.
It doesn't do opportunity.
It's just a thing.
It doesn't seem to do opportunity attacks, say.
She will point her hand crossbow out
because this is the only weapon that she can use underwater,
and we'll try and take a shot at the Guardian.
I don't think that's going to hit, though.
Even with the lesser 80?
AC's gone up a little bit.
That would be a 15, which is just under
because it's replenished some of its armor.
So you watch as the armored bolt ping
off the back of its carapace, which has just grown back.
So that is going to be Daisy's full turn.
We then go to, on this side,
the Stormbinder.
Thank you.
Storm binder.
Storm binder is going to,
it will use its lightning lash
once on Ophelia and then as its other action
it will cast a spell.
And you know it, Tom, you love it.
It's going to cast cure wounds on his friend.
Okay, I didn't realize we were dealing with cheetahs.
He is going to use a second level cure wounds as well.
He did.
I didn't know.
could heal in that way.
I know.
17, 18, 15, 20, fucking,
fucking stupid.
We'll heal 20 HP to his howl.
Oh man.
And then he makes one attack, yes, Ophelia.
They should have 2014 rules if they can heal.
No, why not, why, it's the same magic?
Because I don't like it, is why.
Yeah, exactly, too bad.
So you do see that creature that was so close to death
has just been healed.
Maybe a couple of strong blows from Ophelia
or another great crossbow shot from Yuga
will potentially take it out.
Nice.
But it is at least somewhat replenished,
although its AC has gone down
since it exploded its carapace.
That is the Storm Binders go.
We then go to Gruff.
Kill it.
You are currently grappled.
Yeah.
A restrained.
I can't decide what to do.
I'm cropping this grade.
Thank you, Groff's voice.
I'm so cute.
He now, my name is grow.
Hey, oh.
Oh, you're, oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Trimorrow.
I'm from Trimorrow.
Santhius.
I'm okay, Groff, guys.
I'm totally funny.
What have you done?
Kill me.
Kill me.
Oh my God, I want to be a night so bad.
Bad.
I'm gonna look at it.
Just wanna get knighted.
I'm gonna look at it.
I'm gonna look at it's right in the butt.
Rob's for this episode.
There is gonna be just a viewer spike in downward.
Just down.
What's Groff doing?
You gonna skip your turn?
No, I am doing...
It sucked.
Yeah, he hates it.
He hates it.
It's like me trying to watch
Hat Films interview Andy Stokes.
Could have just stopped a half film.
No.
There's a lot of Hat Films content I enjoy.
Not that fucking video, though.
No, no.
Good times.
Good times.
If I do a can't trip, a spell attack,
is that still at disadvantage?
What is it, a spell attack?
Is still at disadvantage, I'm afraid.
Any attack role you make is at disadvantage.
If it's a saving throw for them,
then it isn't affected.
Is it the same for touch range spells?
Yes.
Any attack roll?
Oh.
I was thinking of...
I think it's the idea that you're kind of being,
like, thrown around, and it's,
hard to gain control.
Also like one of your arms might be pinned up
so it's hard to like cast the spell.
If I'm moon being this fucker, I'm gonna moon being myself, aren't I?
He's a large creature, so no.
I'm gonna moon being this fucker.
Constitution 16, please.
Constitution 16.
Pretty good at those.
Oh, not so good there though.
That's only a six.
Oh, sweet.
All to do.
I'm doing it at level triz.
You should really tell me that before you cast the spell,
everybody, by the way.
Sorry, level trez.
Just in case I chose to do something about it.
I was always going to do it at level three.
That's fine, but just please do try and say
what level spell you're casting attached before you do it.
That's a one.
For fuck say, five, six, seven, eight.
Eight, radiance damage.
Eight points of radiant damage,
but Moonbeam is in place.
Troll, what is that face?
Kim, your token for Moonbeam is on the other side.
For podcast listeners,
Trot had an absolute grump of a face on.
I can't believe you rolled that shit.
It was shit.
Absolute dog shit.
We need to improve our rolling skill.
Yeah, guys, come on.
You should be more like me.
Yeah, honestly.
I'll give you some lessons.
I'll give you some tips.
Gras for anything else on your turn?
You're going to roll the dice.
That was your action.
You can't move.
You've got some...
Action.
I'm in a daunting roll because why the fuck not?
Sure.
I like to imagine as he's squeezing me, I'm like...
Ah!
Where's them safe for?
15.
Okay.
15 wisdom, dead on 15, I'm afraid meets it, beats it.
Bastard.
Does he just like tremor a little bit?
No.
Sorry.
He's too blinded by the radiant column of light
that's currently burning his eyes.
Good.
With after gruff, we go to Rowan.
Rowan is going to starry wisp.
Chunky lad.
The big lad.
Yeah.
All righty.
So spell attack.
18.
18, no, 17, sorry.
It does hit because he used up all of his armor
and his attack.
Diplodocus.
Very little effect against Ophelia as well.
Nice.
13 points.
13 points of damage.
That's a fucking cantrip, bro.
I mean, cantrip's get good as you level up.
You can see, again, doesn't quite take it
to the point where it was before it was on the edge of death,
but you do deal, you know, this radiant bolt of energy,
flies out of rowing out of your geometric pans,
and strikes into it, causing it to kind of shudder
and pull itself back, but it's still standing.
Ophelia!
You got this!
I'm trying!
I'm trying!
Bardic inspiration.
My final one.
Ophelia?
Yeah, Ophelia will take up the mantle of inspiration
the drone has given me.
Okay, place upon the mantle.
Place upon my mantle.
You've got fate as well?
I have got fate, but we've got a D8.
We haven't used any of it yet.
We haven't used any fate now.
Yeah.
I'm going to strike at the big creature
while pointing at the other one and saying, you're next.
Vibes.
Oh, 19 plus 6 plus 70, hit.
Hits.
Oh my God.
Did you use the...
I don't know what hitting is.
I used the...
You used Bardick here.
Wizzie.
Constitution's same throw, right?
Whizzy.
I'll look.
I think it is.
I think it's con.
Yeah.
15 to boot.
Yeah.
I do beat it.
Alright.
So, there's no difference.
All righty.
So damage.
58.
So that's 8, 9, 10 points of damage on the first strike.
The first strike is enough with its already weak and say,
even the healing from its friend.
You plunge Veracity into its weakened carapus
as you see the creature go limp and begins to float
to bobbing up and down in the water as it has been.
Night it.
Nice.
They're going to pivot around.
Strike.
Strike into the storm binder.
This is Team Thunderstruck.
Big Hulk down.
Big Hulk down.
Big Hulk down.
Good job.
Oh, by the way, we struck the pillar
and it created a water creature.
I thought we weren't doing that yet.
We were as a fireball.
Ah, yeah.
Just the nine points of damage on that one.
Nine points of damage.
I am going to use the Stormbinder's reaction
to use its, I guess, well,
it's hellish rebuke, but instead of fine damage,
it does cold damage.
Nice.
This would be like rebuke of the deep, we'll call it.
Can I get a dexterity saving throw from you, please?
Advantage do I have on this one?
Yes, it's a deck saving through and you see it coming.
Cool, 17, 18, not an unnatural 20 on that one.
Unnatural 20, so half damage.
This is at higher level.
We are going to be, that is 16, 26.
Ooh.
Get me out.
Well, I rolled very well on those damages.
So 34 halved, 7-2, 17 cold damage to Euphelia.
as yeah this kind of surge of dark water tries to...
You're on this side of the table now.
But you see that you have bloodied the storm binder with that below.
Anything else on your turn?
That is good. I'm just going to stay in his melee range and piss him off.
Xanthius.
Hello, is this a thug weakened, bloodied, nasty.
The big guard on your side.
Yobbit too.
Oh no.
He's not really being hit that much.
He is in the moonbeam.
It's true, it's true, it's true, it's true, it's true.
He resisted the fireball, so he took half damage from that as well.
Okay, I will do a sorceress best on this guy, a cantrip,
which I have advantage on because of my Raj Raj, oh, a 2, a 19, 27 to hit.
Hit.
2D8, and if I roll a D8, then I roll another D8.
I did not D8 on my D8, but I did get seven.
on my D-8.
Seven points of damage.
Seven of poison.
Poison.
Poison damage, yeah.
That seems to strike the creature
and has full effect.
As the sorceress burst
kind of infects its wounds,
it seems to convulse violently,
but it's still standing,
is not bloodied either.
Shit, yeah.
I will also do a bonus action.
Deal myself.
Arcane vigor.
Arcane vigor.
Yes, because you can trick,
so you can arcane vigor.
Roll one or two.
of my unexpended, so it's 2D6 healing, eight.
Perfect.
Eight healing.
All done?
Huge.
And I will still just stay here, because either way, he's going to be gozen on me.
Actually, I might as well cycle forward a little bit, so half of 30 movement, I guess, 15, three tiles.
Just straightforward, or do you want to go to diagonal?
Just a diagonal, sorry, so I can try and sort of cycle closer to this pillar when the time is renewed.
Well, it is, in fact, that guarding, hulking guard, guardian Hulk, sorry, beast.
It's ton.
Gruff, unfortunately, because you are currently being grappled,
you take its damage automatically.
Oh, fuck.
So that's gonna be,
12 more points of slashing damage,
as you are crushed by its gripping claw.
Then it will make a, first of all, it will harden.
Of course, plus two AC.
Lovely.
Then it will water jet at Xanthius.
You are something of a threat right now.
That is a 21.
Fuck!
I ruled a 17, 21 of my concentration.
Yeah, and you are fine.
Man, this water jet hits me right in the mouth.
Oh, I need to do your moonbeam damage as well.
That is seven points of water jet that strikes you.
How much, sorry?
Seven.
Oh, okay, I think it's 17.
And then I make another constitution as we go for the moon beam.
That's only a 14.
Fail.
9, 10, 16.
16 points.
It is now bloodied.
However, because it has you grappled, it's gonna move with you.
And it's gonna be a right sod.
Oh, it's gonna...
Hello!
It's going right up to me.
Yeah.
Yes.
And that is going to be its turn.
Hi, Graf.
Yeah.
Hello. Hi.
Yeah.
You want to get out of this?
Yes, please.
Okay.
And then the living water is just gonna come up to Daisy.
Gonna grab her, yeah, with a minus one.
It drags her back again.
Oh, wow.
This keeps taking it to the far edge of the map.
It's just like, oh my gosh.
And then pulls her and drags her back in this vortex,
preventing her from getting close.
It's like when you slide forward and backwards in the bath a lot
and then it starts to...
Oh!
You stop doing that!
It's literally using like the pull of the tired
and not insurging.
Oh, wow.
I did that.
That's my favorite thing to do.
You guys also have like cups in the bath as well?
Yeah, yeah.
Did you do the thing where you...
Oh yeah, yeah.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Squit the water.
Try and be a bullet shrimp.
It's not close enough, unfortunately.
Can we use so actually...
so actually double a double like move she can do she can do another 15 feet but
then that's her full turn 5 15 15 20 25 so but she can't attack now because she's
yeah yeah yeah I mean this thing looks like it can move far enough yeah yeah
without without any support it's gonna keep grabbing her it looks like every little help
yeah sure sure uh gruff no sorry the storm binder on the other side
uh is going to yeah it's just kind of lightning lightening
Flash Ophelia twice.
Yeah, stay for it.
10 to hit.
No hit.
Can't hit you.
That's a little bit better.
22.
Yeah, I'll do it.
Woo!
Finally.
That is gonna be 17 points of lightning damage.
You cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn.
No way.
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five.
No problem.
It's running away.
Well yeah, because Ophelia can't take opportunity attacks.
We'll see him in a bit.
a bit.
Yeah, sure.
He'll be on our side soon.
Daisy will be on your side soon.
Then we go to Gruff.
Gruff.
So when it comes to moving a moonbeam,
it doesn't necessarily say you have to do a certain line
or anything. It just seems you can move it up to 60 foot.
Yes, I believe it tastes.
So I can't see the map very well.
How much, it's could not.
You could if you sat up and looked.
It's probably, no, because there's a big plant in the way.
It's a front.
It's like 10 feet to me.
No, I was more thinking, is it, is it, it's with
It's outside of 60 foot to graze the water elemental
and then go back to big blades.
So it teleports to a spot, it does its thing,
and then next turn you'd have to move it again, I believe.
I don't think you can move it up to 60 feet like,
move 30 feet and then move 30 feet again.
You can teleport it to a spot.
It just says you move it.
It doesn't say anything about lines or anything.
Give me a second.
Anything, it just says.
Well, let Papa read it.
You can take a magic action on later turns
to move this cylinder up to 60 foot.
It doesn't say it has to be a line.
I think it's 60 feet from itself.
Like, it takes a move, actually.
I don't think I can move 60 feet.
You can hit the...
To move the cylinder up to 60 feet.
But I need to move it that way and then move it back.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, you can move it and then, like, move it.
But I think you have to move it.
Like, it has to move in physical space.
So you have to draw a line.
So I was trying to figure out if I have 60 foot of movement
to move it up to the elemental and back to...
Yeah, no, it's like 50 to get to...
Five, so that would be, hang on.
So, five, ten,
15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40.
Yeah, so I can't move it back.
You won't be able to move it back, no.
But you can clip that.
And also don't forget, it doesn't take damage
until the start of its turn.
No, as soon as it goes in the area.
It says.
When the cylinder appears, each-
A creature also makes this save
when the spell's area moves into its space
and when it enters the spells area
or it ends its turn there.
That's where I was getting it.
No, or it ends its turn there.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
So that's why, because I was thinking, like,
oh, and a creature makes this save only once per turn,
so it can't take double damage from it.
Okay, well, in that case, this...
Hold on, no, no, no, no.
I don't want to do that.
Okay.
No, what I was asking was, do I have 60 foot of movement
to go and then go back to the crab?
Which you don't.
Which I don't.
I think you do it the other way.
You can go crab and then the elemental.
Yeah?
Yeah, I think so, because it's like five feet to get the crab,
and then you just do the rest to get to the elemental,
and that will hit both of them.
What he said.
Okay.
And then you'll crit both as well.
And then they'll die.
All right, so crab.
I know how this ends.
Fails.
It's scripted anyway.
Seven plus eight is 15, 16, 17.
17 points.
Still alive.
This is burned by the moonbeam.
You don't need to roll that.
When it strikes this creature,
you watch as the living water,
as the moonbeam touches it, it breaks apart.
Oh.
from one big creature.
Oh, two small.
Oh, god damn.
I made it worse.
We're going to slimes.
But then does the second one take?
No, because I'm going to say that it would appear
on the outside of the regime.
You have really blocked its path, though.
I mean, it has to do a weird movement
to get back to late Daisy or whatever.
So that's good.
Not really. It can go round.
No, I think, I'm trying to do everything I can here.
You don't do the first bit.
You did good.
But you, that was your action.
You do have an extra like five feet as well.
Do I?
Five feet, yeah, I mean you do technically.
So just bonk it a little bit more.
I was gonna bonk it a little bit more.
Okay, yeah, destroys the two small ones.
Guess what?
Man, it's just that easy.
Team Kill Shock.
Oh, there's not four?
Okay, I was there only four to come out.
I'm doing cool, yeah, thing.
Find out, won't we?
What is that, Kill Shots?
I'm not sure about it.
That was your magic action.
Kill Shock.
That's my magic action.
Bonus action, I don't really have a great deal going on.
Great hand gesture.
I, bonus action, no, I can't really do much.
Okay, all right.
I'm just going to, fine.
Rowan can't actually see the surge binder,
so what he's going to do is dash up to the Thunderstone.
Okay, where would you like to go?
Five and five.
It's kind of like diagonal up.
So you could dash what like to get up like on the actual kind
of rocky outcropping.
The rocky outcropping itself.
Yeah, I love it.
Yeah, easily, you swim out there.
Action, move, you're now up there.
So you're just a little, a little butt.
A little bit, a little cheeky boat.
Anything else?
Ophelia.
This guy, get away, he's gonna swim up after him.
10, 15, 20, 25.
Your movement is so insane.
So good, double strike.
Even half speed, I can't get away.
Even half speed.
Harbs, man.
Shiver me timbers, that is a...
YAR!
11 on the first strike.
Ooh, does not strike.
I'm going to spend a fate on this next one
just to make sure I land it.
Okay, love that.
Oh, fuck me sideways.
Oh, no.
Oh, no, even with the fate point that's not in there.
Oh, my downfall.
That is...
That's a real shape.
That's a real shame for me, isn't it?
It's a real shame.
Yeah, it's a real shame.
Nothing I can do about that one, I'm afraid, sir.
Nothing you can do about it.
Nothing doing.
Nothing doing.
All right, in that case, we go to Xantheis.
Hi there, this guy walked right into my shocking grasp range.
Idiot. That does lightning damage.
I don't want to do that.
You thought you were so pleased with yourself when you're like, he-he-ha-ha.
All right, speaking of swaggering up, I'm going to do my usual moonwalk away from an opportunity attack.
Oh, thank you very much.
I don't mind if I do it.
Moonbeam!
No.
23.
You don't...
That hits.
With its other claw,
that is
14 points of slashing damage
and you are grappled and restrained.
He has two claws to grapple with?
He's got two claws.
He just grabs you both.
Hold you both there.
But Agamox only had one grappling claw.
This guy's better than Agamox.
Well, Agamox also had an enormous serrated great sword
that was awful.
Got that.
This goes better than Agamox.
Sure.
Angagabox.
Why not shocking grasp him?
Because he's resistant to lightning damage.
Yeah.
Are you okay?
No, yeah, I'm doing fine.
Okay.
Yeah, I feel great.
So you can't move away.
As you go to move, you become ensnared in this creature's claw.
Which means...
You are speed of zero.
You're restrained, grappled.
Disadvantage on stuff.
Dispunched on Sacks.
I'll Misty Step.
Okay.
No.
Where would you like to go?
I'll just go 10 feet back.
Further back.
Just 10 feet back?
15 back.
I'm not towards the pillar.
No, 15 towards the pillar, yeah.
We're all helping each other here.
5.10, 15, 25, 30.
And then...
Spin around, and I will...
I'll do a sorceress first on this guy,
which is an action to do.
I'd love that.
I have advantage.
17 on the first one.
13 on the next one, that's a million damage, a million hit,
million to hit, a million.
25, it's like 25 hits.
Yeah, I need to know because he does increase his AC,
so yes, 25 hits.
Well, not to 25 he doesn't,
but if it'd been 17, you might have missed.
Poison damage, doesn't increase.
Five poison damage.
Five points of poison damage.
That's right.
Wow, wee.
But the result of a pretty concise and professional turn.
Very professional turn, thank you, Tom.
Done?
Um.
Don't ask him there.
Okay.
Grofuf.
On the Hulking Guards' turn,
you're going to take 9.14 more points of slashing damage.
He is going to swim away.
5, 10, 15.
The boy!
And then he's going to shoot a water jet at Zanthius.
Why not Daisy?
18 on my concentration.
Because Daisy's not really done anything to him recently.
She's just here.
That is going to be a...
20 to hit Zanthius.
Fuck a do-l-doo, yeah, man, like you.
Nine points of bludgeoning damage.
It's right, shoots out of his mouth, by the way.
Timbers, actually.
Oh, sorry, shoots out of his mouth.
Shisholmy tibbers.
Or fuck me side, would it?
Oh, that one, yeah.
Does not any damage to you, that is,
they're all pirate themed.
His turn.
How is fuck me side face pirate theme?
What episode is pirate boat?
It's a mermaid to do it, right?
Yeah.
Yuga will come up.
Wow.
Wow.
You sort that through.
Wow.
Uh, Yuga will simply come up and assist Rowan with whatever he does next.
He will give you the help action.
Oh, nice.
Because I'm assuming you look like you're about to try and do something with the pillar,
so he's going to give you the help action.
No.
Okay, great.
I'm sure.
I push his head down.
Okay.
Get away.
Recoil.
In your shell.
No, I will receive the help action in the foot.
You can't do that to a turtle.
No.
That's rude.
All is well.
All is well.
That was above table.
That was for humor and hygiene.
Sure, sure, sure.
Yeah.
I will receive the help action, please.
Okay, thank you, there you go.
You've got the help action.
You have advantage on your next ability check
or attack right?
There you go.
It's not actually.
At the beginning of the turn.
Thank you for cutting back.
A bit of hijinks for you all.
The, on the other side,
as you have damaged the thing,
you begin to see around.
Oh, fuck.
It spawns another one.
Yeah.
Just keep spawning them.
Keep spawning.
Yep.
What a bitch.
Daisy just looks when he's like, not again.
Not like this, not like this.
Ah, okay.
It is, however, the daisies go.
She's going to get the fuck away from this.
Run, 10, 15.
5.10, 15.
And is now close enough to shoot with the crossbow.
Yes. Here it is.
Come on.
This is it.
Let's go.
Public roll.
Nine plus.
That's good, right?
9, 18.
She's got a million to hit.
I forgot to harden him last turn.
He's only at 1718, it is.
I'm an idiot.
Idiot.
You're an idiot sandwich.
What are you?
My in time time.
Shit was to throw him off.
So he didn't do hardened.
Confusion.
You did.
That is exactly what happened.
It's going to go on another level.
You got to play at D&D.
You got to play at D&D.
Fuck, you're like the Professor X of D&D.
22 points with the Sneaker
Damage.
Oh, thank God.
Is enough.
Thank God!
To slay this boosh.
This is a team kill shot here.
Both of them are down,
but we still have this water elemental.
We're ready to engage on the pillar thing.
Water elemental.
What?
What water elemental?
The one that we told you about last time.
Oh yeah.
Yeah, I did tell you about that.
He wasn't listening.
Yep.
Why would I?
You never say anything of importance.
Fucking hell.
What was that on the line?
That was some.
God, toxic interference.
Might have been sovereign.
Right, with that, that is Daisy's full turn.
This one guy is still alive.
Let's go one guy.
And hates you so much.
Lightning Lash.
Hate all your want.
21.
Oh my God.
Yeah, that'll do it.
It's not only a cantrip, it's fine.
More than a gandrip.
14 points of lightning damage.
Yeah.
Second lightning lash.
Die.
Nah.
19.
She hit me to beat it.
Oh, piss.
10 points of lightning damage.
Oh no, what shame.
Are you still up?
Yeah.
Damn it!
As he's just like with his lightning lashes just trying to like double wield.
You're wielding them now trying to kill you, but you're still standing in his face.
He hates you.
Yeah.
Um.
Riffin.
There was a three.
There was a three-person time delay on that.
I love Star Trek.
Followed by Rowan.
Live long and beat with the force.
Okay.
On to the thing, the water element tool.
It destroys it, splits it.
And then mop up, whatever.
And then you just move it again.
And then I'm going to...
Well, actually, this is important.
Where do you want to leave the moon beam?
So in front of it like that.
Like that.
And then I'm going to be like on the...
Coms, we're ready to...
Graf, I'd like you to reconsider that.
Right, okay.
I'd move it slightly.
Thank you.
It's blocking my path to the...
We're ready to stop this pillar when you are.
Yep, yeah, any minute now.
We'll be ready soon.
Yep, just hold...
Six seconds.
We can wait six seconds.
Well, you've got a second phone.
Right.
I'm also doing my stop.
Rough, you're done?
Sell, sell.
Can I move? Just a little bit.
Post it all the way up.
Shell, shit.
Yeah, just about there.
Fucking hell.
Okay.
Rowan.
Rowan is going to aim the crossbow and feed his head.
Strength.
No, you would like to receive a boost from Yuga
so that he can look over the top of the rocks
and shoot.
You can swim upwards.
No, but I want to use the hell.
Oh, okay.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
To get the advantage.
Sure, sure, sure.
Yeah.
What kind of crossbow is it?
It's a crossbowy crossbow.
Light crossbow.
Light crossbow.
Yeah, then you do have the range.
80.
Yeah, no problem.
So I line it up, I'm waiting for a feel as kind of move,
and then I take the shot.
Loop, you swim up.
Swim.
Swim.
Swim.
I'm going to use fate, and I've got the help action.
Nice.
So you get advantage and an extra D6.
So I don't want to miss this shot.
No.
Check this out, kill shot.
Kill it dead, yeah.
You miss him, I don't really.
It's bloody, but.
17.
17, will hit, do it hit?
I didn't have my plus four.
He's not that wounded, but it does hit, so raw damage.
Check this out.
1D8.
Yeah, but...
Two.
How's that? Kill him plus anything?
No.
Just takes off a little bit of carapace off of his face.
Nothing personnel, kid.
Do I get an all-for-arm shrug?
Yeah.
All four-arm shrug.
The worst.
The worst.
Anything else in your turn, Rowan?
No.
Okay.
Affiliate.
Yeah, I'm just gonna try and kill this guy dead.
Uh...
I feel like you could have probably just left it to Ophelia, Rowan.
I'm gonna just fade on this one again.
Oh, perfect.
Uh, 13, 14, 15.
22 to hit.
22 will hit.
Nice, right.
D8 plus 5, standard damage.
That is a 1, so that is a 6, 7, 8 damage.
for that one.
Eight points of damage.
Injured, very badly hurt, but not quite dead yet.
Right, I'm going to advantage on this next one.
Natural fucking 20 ball.
Hell yeah!
You may roll it if you wish, but this guy is fucking dead.
Just see how dead it will be.
How dead will it be?
So, max damage, so that's a D8, plus another D8,
that's 10, plus 5, 15, 17.
17, but he is very dead.
Yes!
Teams have struck!
Easily.
Perfect is second place.
Okay, we are ready to strike the second...
The stone binder is dead.
Okay, okay, okay, any other movement?
I'm going to move back towards a pillar.
Okay.
Sell. 15.
So self.
25, literally gets you to the base of it.
Would you like to have swam up as well?
So you can be...
I could swim up a little bit, yeah, to some level with it.
Swab.
Swab. Swarm.
Swarm.
Swarm.
Maybe this episode should end.
Maybe this should be released.
All right, Aphelia, you swim up,
which brings us to Xanthius.
Hi there, I would like to...
Over to the pillar, please,
and I'll start making some...
Perfect, so as an action, as a magic action,
you can make an arcana.
For you, I think it would be archana,
because your magic is arcane of origin.
You can spend a spell.
slot. You gain a bonus to the alkanah check equal to one plus the level of the spell slot you expend.
Okay, I will not spend it for now considering we are the first to touch it and it's already
damaged because I don't want to break it too early. I just want to get a test feel to how rough
this will actually be. So I have a plus four to my arcana and I roll a 10. So 14. 14 is not enough.
Here. You try to interfere with this ritual and something like that.
lashes back, can you make a Constitution saving for a place?
Oh, okay, Constitution.
Oh, great, saves.
15.
Just barely succeeds.
You take half damage.
You take one point of thunder damage,
but four points of lightning damage for five total.
As you are blasted by some reverberating force
from this stone as you try and interfere with it,
you are unsuccessful.
This is team killed, John.
Just so you know, if you try to interfere with the ritual,
you will get blasted.
Sorry, Dad, what was that?
Sorry, I just got hit by the, I got hit by the pillow, I'm sorry.
Oh my God.
Sell.
All right, Zanthius is anything else on your turn?
That's, I'll just, yeah, do that for now.
Alright.
Could have let me hit it with a moment.
Sorry?
You could have liked me hit the moon wing.
On Yuga's turn,
Yuga will love.
Yuga will look at you, Rowan.
Yuga will look at Rowan
and say to you, do you want me to try and disrupt the ritual?
I think.
Yes.
Okay.
He will expend a first level spell slot,
so he gets a plus two to his already.
Oh, don't fail.
He gets a plus eight for his nature,
so he's a plus ten.
27, he succeeds.
Holy shit.
Well, he is a plus eight to his nature check.
Yeah.
So you can see, Yuga begins to weave this druidic ritual
that is breaking away some of the enchantment
of this Thunderstone column and is having some success.
That is one success.
However, as Yuga does so,
something begins to swirl as some living water appears
and tries to grab Yuga.
No, it's a cock.
But, Yuga, that is a 19 on a strength saving throw
as it tries to engulf him and drag him away,
away from the column,
but Yuga like reaches out and grabs onto a thing
as he's being pulled, but he manages to stay put.
Nice one, you know.
You go best.
Which brings us to the top of running around with Daisy.
Ralph, what do I do?
All right, no idea.
Are we destroying it with force?
Yes.
Yes?
I'm going to hit it with Moonbeam on my...
Just, oh, fucking, I don't know.
What do I have to answer everything?
I think we have her just hold where she is.
Okay, yeah.
Done.
In that case, we go to...
Did she have any heels?
Gruff.
Oh, my apologies at the very end of the turn.
Oh, for fuck, see.
So you might want to change what Daisy does
as this, another living water.
to spawns on Zanthius, Daisy and Gruff's side of the battle.
She'll swim away.
10, 15.
As if she has the frightened condition.
Do you want her to move any more?
Do you want her to do anything else?
Or just move away.
Can she throw a dagger at the thing?
She could have, yeah.
Yeah. She would have had to use a hand crossbow.
Can she do that beforehand?
Yes.
Go on split this thing.
That is a hit.
It hits.
It splits into two smaller creatures.
These ones probably aren't nearly as bad to drag you away.
And then move her away.
And then move her away.
510, 15, 510, 15.
All right, Daisy moves away towards the pillar.
We then go to Gruff.
Can I move the moon beam onto the pillar without touching Xanthius?
You can.
It cannot fail its saving throw because it is an object.
However, it is resistant to radiant damage,
or it will take half damage.
To roll your damage, please.
7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14.
14, half to 7.
Nice.
So we can be 21 damage.
You can see that the rock formation is breaking slowly,
but the moonbeam does not seem to be having a great effect against it.
I will swim in the direction of Daisy as well.
Okay.
5, 10, 15, 20.
All right, graph, you swim in front of Daisy protectively.
Got my turn.
All right, perfect.
So we then go to Rowan.
Help Yuga, just go straight for a thing.
What do?
Go for Yuga, oh no, go for the thing.
I'll go to help Yuga.
Yuga is fine, he succeeded to saving throw.
Just so you guys know, he's holding on,
he's still in position, he wasn't dragged away.
He doesn't really, he's not being grappled
or anything like that.
He doesn't necessarily need help unless you want to deal
with the thing that is trying to pull him away.
It's far better at nature.
Yeah.
Than me.
I can run defense because I can't do any damage to the rock anyway.
Okay.
I'm just gonna give it a go.
You want to work?
Do a check?
And do a magic action.
All right.
I think for Rowan, your magic is very much more primal.
A lot of your magic comes from stones and earth and things like that.
But I would also make a case that you could choose to do arcane if you would like.
So you can choose arcane or nature.
They're both plus one.
Okay. Would you like to spend a spell slot to get a bonus?
Yes.
Excellent.
I said like that.
What level spells, what would you like to expend?
Fourth level.
So you're going to plus five to this, so you'll get plus six total.
No fate to add, though, unfortunately.
No fate to add.
Oh, thank you for a blessing from Zantis.
That's my really good ice.
Oh, he's correct.
Can you make, uh, you and Yuga need to make a constitution saving fair?
And actually, Aphelia, you are next to the pillar as well.
Constitution Stone throws all around, please.
Oh, Christ.
Yuga succeeds.
Oh shit.
Not one.
You fail.
14.
14. That is a failure as well.
Only Yuga succeeds.
So, that is going to be 10 points of thunder damage and two points of lightning damage.
So 12 or 6 to Yuga.
I'm going to use stone's endurance.
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
I should also say that for,
unless you can reduce this to zero, Zanthias.
Oh, you do?
And I'm Rowan.
Oh, Rowan.
So you reduce it to zero?
It's because you're in Zanthius's seat.
You reduce it to zero?
Yes.
All right, then this next effect won't affect you either.
Ophelia, you are dazed until the end of your next turn,
which means you can only move action or bonus action.
Not all three.
You get one of those choices.
As you are blasted.
and shocked, you are unable to fully get.
He's fine, he succeeded.
Uga, I think you're probably better at disrupting the stone than me.
Can you do something about this?
And he points to the water trying to yank him away.
Let's swap places.
I say with hand gestures.
Okay.
That is going to be Rowan's turn, Ophelia.
So you have a move, an action, or a bonus action.
Right, okay.
So then in that case, if I can only do an action,
let me see if we've got any ranged space.
I can throw at this guy.
Cool, I'm going to cast as a cantrip,
Cole, toll the dead at the whirling water skirmish guy.
Yeah, whatever spell, you don't need to roll damage
or anything because it is destroyed very easily.
But as it does, it splits and leaves two versions,
two smaller versions of itself.
Team Thunderstruck.
Team Killshock here, just a reminder,
If you hit the water things, they split into two.
I was just gonna tell you that.
Oh, really?
Oh, my God.
We've experienced that, I should have told you about it already,
sorry.
End of Sanofi, because that is all you can do.
You are no longer dazed.
Cool.
We go to Xanthias.
What, you're thinking about it.
That's kind of fucked up, you know.
I'm really sorry, I'm really sorry.
There's a lot of going on right now.
Zanthias!
I'm doing it.
You're about to hear a very loud noise.
In your mind?
I'm gonna scream when I fail this again.
I should have done it.
When you damaged the pillar with the moon,
there would have been a sort of explosion of lightning and thunder.
We'll just say that Xanthius avoided it, you didn't take any damage,
but just as I reckon that whenever the pillar seems to take damage,
it also seems to with energy.
I can't save if you want.
If you don't mind, it would be, this would actually be a deck saving through
because it's actually avoiding the physical blast bit.
Oh, in that case, I just avoided it.
Uh, you roll bad?
I didn't roll too good, I got a 10.
A 10 is not enough.
I'll take the damage.
That is going to be six damage, split,
between thunder and lightning.
Nice, that means I have sticks honor points.
No. For taking.
But you are my special boy.
You get a gold star.
Okay, that's not what it sounded like earlier.
Motherfucker.
I am going to back up from this
to try and avoid additional damage
from this additional pylon.
You said it.
And I'm going to do a,
I'll just do a sorceress burst on it.
Okay.
Do I have a gauge of how damaged it is,
how close we are to destroying it?
Is it bloodied, cracked?
It's not bloody, it's not cracked, let's say.
Okay.
It is quite sturdy in resilience,
this huge chunks of this very sturdy, you know,
coral that they've been using as like weapons and armor.
It does have an AC if you're attacking it.
Yeah, I've got, um, beat its heart as well as dodging.
I do have advantage.
Um, 14 plus a million, 14 plus eight.
Um, uh, but it's probably resistant to everything I can do.
to rock so poison doesn't work.
Ice, maybe, fire, no, lightning, no.
Acid, what do I write down?
With acid, no?
I'll try, I'll do that, what?
Poison worked on the creatures.
Oh yeah.
Yeah, it's immune to poison.
I wrote that one down.
I'll do acid.
Okay, give you damage.
This is a 2D8 sorceress burst,
so same deal as always, if I roll eight,
I do not, I got seven.
I took them all from you.
You took them all from me.
Seven, acid.
Seven, acid.
Well, like, there is some good,
Yes, acid works perfectly.
It does full damage against this thing.
As it begins to melt away sections of the coral,
it is full damage.
I'm pretty good at this elementalist bullshit.
You're pretty good.
All those years of JRP's, they've trained you well.
JRP's trained you well.
Acid good against rock.
Acid good against rock.
Right, and Xantheus done?
Dealing, damage is undead.
You would see as the acid splashes the coral,
there is another pulse of lightning and thunder,
you are just on the outskirts of it.
Looks like it's about 10 foot range around, yeah.
Nice.
So you are just on the outskirts of it.
Okay.
Perfect.
If you're done, Xenthius.
That's me.
All right.
Yuga is going to attempt a nature skill role.
He will spend another first level spell slot to give him an extra plus two for a total plus 10.
Just barely.
Five plus 10 is 15, which is the DC.
Amazing.
He succeeds.
Two successes.
Yuga will look at you, Rowan, and with one hand kind of gesture and convey a message,
I think I am nearly finished.
One more, one more, and I think I will be done.
This is Team Thundersruct to Team Kill Shock.
No, I move. Yeah.
Sorry.
They're dead. They're all dead.
I'm sorry, we were discussing tactics.
What's going on?
We think Yuga is close to destroying this stone.
Maybe one more go.
Hold off. Hold off.
I'm not sure I can.
I think if I delay too long, I will lose progress.
You can't hold off!
Gruff, we need to go quickly.
We need to destroy this thing fast.
and Daisy.
Okay.
Speaking of,
so it's actually
the Living Waters' turn.
The Living Water.
Five, ten,
15, 20, 25, 30.
Oh, they can't get to us.
15, 20, 25, 30.
But these ones can.
Oh, no.
One's going to go for Yuga.
One's going to go to Rowan.
Can I get strength saving throws from you both, please?
Check this out.
You can, fucking, this guy's a legend.
He's only got a plus one,
and he just keeps doing it.
It's always the MPCs.
What is wrong?
We know who to recruit.
It's my dice rolling is the problem.
The four.
Oh, I'm afraid, Rowan, you are grabbed.
Off he goes.
Oh, they are just as strong as the big one.
The DC is lower for this, but yeah, they are unfortunately.
Still able to go as fast, but they are weaker.
Yes.
But Yuga holds on.
as he's able to do it,
but the other ones are unable to reach you guys.
So we go to Daisy.
Daisy will swim over this rock.
So piercing, it wasn't invulnerable to piercing.
No, it was...
Resistance.
It was resistant.
So I mean, it shoots it.
Yeah.
Hits, cool, no problem.
Great. But it is resistant.
Yep.
Max damage though.
That's gonna be 11, so it takes another five.
Okay, okay, okay.
Where's my pickax?
I would say it looks cracked.
Oh, good.
At this point.
Yeah, a pickax would be great, actually.
If you had a pickax, I would say that that would be,
even though it's piercing, it would do full damage.
If you had one.
I don't have one.
That is going to be Daisy's turn.
Unfortunately.
Do you have three dollars?
Gruffeth.
The radio effect only does it on its turn.
So it doesn't, because it's a rock.
It doesn't have a turn.
I'd say we'll just do it on your turn.
886.
Do some math.
Wow, 20.
22, but it is half, so it's 11.
8.6.
22.
So half's to 11, so it does 11 points of radian damage.
Very nice.
Very nice.
But you still have an action, that's just, it's going to trigger on your turn, basically.
So you still have your action and everything else.
Do I have movement, 60 foot movement to sweep the moon beam over the boys, over the watery boys?
You could, you wouldn't be able to get the moon beam back on the pillar.
No, I can move it on my next turn, right?
and then it would hit it again.
Yeah, yeah.
So I shall do that.
All right, yeah.
It destroys them both.
You, that's up, sure.
Right.
Good shit.
Is that your action?
That's my action.
Hey, you drop this.
Okay.
Cran.
We then go to Rowan.
You've been swummed away.
Yes, I'm just going to get out Stone Razor
and just swing it around me.
You disperse the living water.
It is immediately destroyed.
Excellent, and then I'll use my 15 feet of movement to start working my way back.
Swimming back towards the group.
Any bonus action you'd like to do?
No, I've spent all my barics.
All right, no more bardics to spend, Aphelia.
Yeah, Aphelia's going to enter her rage again
and then use her half movement to disperse this water with veracity.
Yeah.
Yeah, just give me the attack roll just for the sake that you roll bad.
12 plus seven.
Dispers the water.
And then, can I use my remaining movement
to move up next to Yuga?
Mm-hmm.
And I'll just stay here next to him
just to protect him for now.
Okay, sure, yep.
So what I'd say is, like,
if you're kind of anticipating it,
you can give advantage on his save
against being pulled away
of those things to come back.
All right, perfect.
After Ophilius, Zanthius.
Hello, I'm going to do the same again.
A, you know what it's called,
sorcerer's burst.
Okay.
Um, just as a reminder, Yuga will go next.
Um, so if he is successful, you will only have one more turn to try and destroy it.
So then it could potentially fall on me to, to the, play the game.
Final bow, final blast.
19 on this one.
It's, uh, I mean next time I'm going to get through its hardness more than anything.
Yeah, so I don't really have anything else.
Acid once again. Uh, okay, good damage, but it doesn't boost.
It's a shame.
13.
13.
It's looking pretty rough.
Okay.
Pretty rough.
We're very close.
Kill shock here.
We're very close.
All right.
Let's end this team Thunderstruck.
Yuga.
You go.
I state, you go.
26.
With that.
26.
26.
16 plus 10.
Did he use any spell slot?
Yeah, he used a level one spell slot.
It was time to give himself an extra plus two.
But he already had a plus eight.
So he's very good at it.
Very weak.
It's a good job.
He didn't get hit by those monsters
because he only has 25 HP.
So he could have easily been taken out.
But you did a good job of protecting him
and keeping the...
It's a little busy.
You see as Yuga weaves these final little bits
of druidic magic,
the spell around this pillar of coral breaks.
And suddenly the surging waters and lightning
which are kind of almost being drawn
from it up into the storm wall dissipates.
dissipates and the current in this area goes still for a moment.
As you watch as the storm wall begins to crack and break and pieces of it slow down,
but it already begins to be sort of almost pulling itself towards an area within
sort of three, four hundred feet, like almost like it's trying to reconnect to the network there.
You need to break your stone now.
Okay, okay, we're on it.
The Thunderstone, it's broken.
Spodgum.
Sponterstone.
It's broken.
It's broken.
I'm just gonna spawn these in.
I don't think they're gonna have time to do anything.
Oh, this one can't.
But on the other side, another living water will emerge
to try and disrupt your efforts.
Oh.
But it is Daisy. It just spawns.
It doesn't get to attack.
Oh, good.
Daisy.
That was nice. Mars attacks. Impression.
Four plus nine is not enough.
The little arrow just breaks off the stone.
I can't do anything.
Help.
gruff.
I don't have any spells or anything else.
Just to shift the moon beam.
Yeah, you can shift the move over this node as well.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, destroys it, yeah.
So just give me the radiant damage.
Mop up that guy.
Half it.
Nine, eight, one.
17.
18. 18.
18.
Yeah, 18.
Yeah, 18.
So nine.
It's pretty good.
That is right.
But it's not.
It's not going to break, yeah.
No.
It is very bad, but you can see it's only this small,
like pieces of it have been broken away,
burnt away, melted away,
but there's still enough of a core of this pillar.
You can see that like the lightning is beginning to fade and crack up,
but there's still enough there to keep this thing in power.
Xanthius.
Technically to be Ophelia, but there's nothing really for you to do now.
So we're just going to jump to Xanthius.
Turn around.
Do an evil grin and say,
all part of the plan, and teleport away.
No, I, uh...
Holy shit.
Now?
What a reveal.
Tom and I have been working on this for a year, actually.
We planned for this encounter to be the time.
Specifically this one.
You guys are fucked.
I have to hit this thing.
I'm going to do a...
I'll do a third level chromatic orb.
Okay.
Because I need it done.
Done, baby.
I get advantage on the attack.
I have a plus eight to hit.
It's AC?
I would say it was AC is 15.
15.
There's no fake.
Oh, good, I am gonna hit it.
Let's see if I crit though, I don't.
24, 24, yes.
One, two, three, four, five, D8 damage.
Oh, can I do acid with this?
Can I do acid?
Yes, I can.
Yes, boy.
B'am, two threes.
It's gonna chain.
So nothing.
To Daisy.
So six,
13.
13, 16, one more.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, 24, 24 damage.
24 damage.
Poggers?
24, is it Poggers?
Well over.
Oh, well done.
You needed 14, 14 damage from that,
which is, I was like, the sorceress burst,
I was like, that's a risk.
If I didn't upcast it to, I think,
if I did third level, I wouldn't have destroyed it.
I think I had to do exactly that.
Oh, good.
So you watch, as Xanthius, you conjure this ball of flowing acid, highly concentrated,
you launch it forwards, just as on the other side, you're all beginning to panic because
it's been, you know, several heartbeats.
You see the stormble almost like a finger of energy going down to try and reconnect to this
point.
And then in the distance, you see a flare of light as another piece of the wall suddenly breaks
as the pillar is fully melted.
it disrupts the spell
as you watch the entire storm wall
suddenly goes still
and all the sand begins to drift back down
as the energy flow is almost like
is sent up to the waves above
and back up into the sky
as all this energy all this wind and lightning
launches upwards
as the barrier of the storm wall
completely falls
and you have broken this
ritual.
Kiltzok here!
That's my boy, oh!
We did it!
The Stormall!
We did it!
He's broken!
He did it!
He did it!
And with that, we will bring today's episode to a close.
Well done.
Yes!
Well done.
Just as the thing, how low were people looking on hit points?
Were we looking all right?
14!
14, that's all right.
476.
Yeah, didn't even take bunch damage, yeah.
40.
41.
So like a little bit of damage
but not too bad.
Not too bad, not too bad.
None of them got away.
Some very good tactics, very good plans.
We're kind of tapped out for Coral Song though.
That's what spells off wise.
I've burned a few.
I'm all right.
You'll be all right.
What I'll have to see.
How are you lined out.
But with that, the way is now clear.
The gates are open.
The gates are open.
You can make your way to the wreck of the glory of Paladrax
to come face to face with Coral Song and her great pet.
But who knows what treasures may lie within the wreck,
for this is an ancient imperial warship of an age by gone.
But also, this evil champion of Ojania will fall by your hands.
Or perhaps you will die trying.
We'll find out next time on High Rollers.
In two weeks.
In two weeks.
See you later, everybody.
Bye-bye.
Bye-bye.
