Starting point is 00:00:04 Yo, yo, thought warriors. What is up? Our Learning is on. It's I. Van Lately Jr. And it's me, Rachel and Lindsay. If you're on YouTube, up, oh. Like, share and subscribe to the Higher Learning YouTube.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Big YouTube. Push. Yep, yep. Push. Remember Tisha Campbell's song, Push? Push. You got to. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:34 See, you. You didn't think I'd know that. See, every once in a while you try to test me on my black cultural. Don't make your face. Absolutely do. First of all, let me. I get it right more times than not. It's very true.
Starting point is 00:00:49 I'll say this. If there's one thing that me and Charlemagne de God agree on, if there's one thing, we agree on a lot of things, we disagree on a lot of things. But if there's one thing, me and Charlemagne de God agree on, is that Tisha Campbell is underrated. I think she's underrated because she was, I mean, I don't think we speak of her in the same way now, but she was big.
Starting point is 00:01:20 I don't think that we give the proper reverence to Tisha Campbell. She's great. Think about how long a Tisha Campbell has been around. Have we talked about this? I feel like we've talked about this on the podcast before. We go all the way back from Little Shop of Horace. That's right. School days.
Starting point is 00:01:46 She and Tashina were on that together. They've been kicking it forever. Yeah. Tisha Campbell has truck and pop. House party. She had the singing career. Then she had my wife and my kids. My wife and kids just kept going.
Starting point is 00:02:02 So actually put an extra mind there. My wife and kids. Oh, I did. And then think about it. Like Tisha Campbell, that's a fantastic. a career. But we don't give the respect if I was a billionaire, if I was like, let's say I was Jeff Bezos. If I was Jeff Bezos, I'm serious.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Like if I was a black Jeff Bezos, like I had 200 billion, right? I just wake up one morning and go, fuck it. Three million Fatia Campbell, for no reason. My God. I feel like you've done that before where you've given somebody millions, which I'm not quite sure why. But if Fatia's getting three, what am I getting? you get nothing okay
Starting point is 00:02:40 even though according to certain publications it could probably come in handy right now huge huge
Starting point is 00:02:53 hey hey I want to let everybody know something all my friends in the industry I'm not a source oh are people cover to you
Starting point is 00:03:06 well you are You could talk. I'm not a source. Okay, you can't source me. If there's one thing that'll never happen will never happen is I won't be sourced. I won't be sourced. I don't think about that. I need to think about people coming to you for info because I haven't said anything.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Do you know what the reality is? From my time at TMZ, I look down on sources. like publications who use the source or people who are the source. People who are sources, I always kind of looked at them in a way. It's like there's nothing wrong with being a source. But after I've gotten information from a source,
Starting point is 00:03:55 it's always kind of like, this motherfucker. Yeah, you can't trust them. I appreciate you. Click. You're a source. You're a source. It's like it was almost like the relationship
Starting point is 00:04:05 between a detective and a CI. You appreciate the CI. But you're CIA. I won't be shocked. If you were doing that to me. It didn't even cross my mind. You know why? Because I'm not worried about you being a source.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I'm not worried about you saying anything. You and I will talk when we talk. If you're asking me to maybe corroborate something, meaning, look, not with Rachel. but hey van this happened blah blah blah blah blah maybe maybe i'll be like i could have been there could have happened but i won't be sourced you're not gonna and this is even if you had something on tm z and you want to call me i'm not doing it i won't allow myself to be sourced good for you good for you and also thank you
Starting point is 00:05:05 what? I mean that you're not going to be a source in whatever they're asking in regards to me. Oh, yeah. I feel like a thank you was warranted. Yeah, not really, though. I mean, what would you expect? It would be, that's one of those things. People suck.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Man, people suck. I don't expect a lot from people. So take the thank you. Yeah. I've been thinking about the song that Drake could come back with. No, no, no, no. I made one up There is no song
Starting point is 00:05:39 There is one Is the song that Drake could come back with It just got to have Aggression You know And it's got to be very simple And well I'm taking it
Starting point is 00:05:53 You have like some lines or something Or a title Simple aggression Yeah Okay So who is Drake You want me to answer this? Yeah who is Drake
Starting point is 00:06:06 He's a Canadian artist. Drake is Drake. That's who Drake is. He's Drake. Okay. Who are some of these guys that are dissing Drake, according to Drake?
Starting point is 00:06:22 I'm not saying this, but according to Drake, who are they? I don't know. Whose Drake say they are? Bitches. Oh. So the song is very simple. Bitch, I'm Drake. Oh, I thought it was Drake's bitches.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Okay. Okay. Bitch, I'm Drake. That's the song. This is how it goes. Bitch, I'm Drake. Bitch, I'm Drake. Bitch, I'm Drake. Bitch, bitch. Bitch, I'm Drake. Bitch, bitch. Bitch, I'm Drake. Bitch, bitch. Bitch I'm Drake. Bitch. Bitch, bitch. I'm Drake. Bitch. I'm Drake. Bitch. I'm Drake. Bitch. Bitch. I'm Drake. Bitch. I'm Drake. Bitch, bitch. That's the whole song. YouTube channel for nothing else but to see how band delivered that song. All right, man.
Starting point is 00:07:19 You want Drake's career to be over is what you're really saying. It's not true. You're clearly not a Drake fan. You clearly don't want to see him. I love Drake. You want to put the Nell in the coffin even further. You're going to hammer that in with that song. You know what's crazy? Bubba bitch I'm Drake. That's dope. And somebody put the beat to that. Let me tell you something. You know what's crazy is, so I've been going back through everybody's catalogs. That's involved with this?
Starting point is 00:07:50 Yeah. Just period. I love listening to Drake. I love experiencing Kendrick Lamar. I like that. One's better than the other. I'm thinking about all the memories I have with Drake records. A fantastic catalog of music, ridiculous music.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I love experiencing Kendrick Lamar. The records take me somewhere different. But I really have a relationship that's pretty strong with both guys. People act like they don't like Drake. Drake's music is off the chain. Now, for the last X amount of years, I've been up and down on his music. Maybe I outgrew it. But in the time that I was listening to Drake,
Starting point is 00:08:37 they got many different Drake records that I absolutely love. Whole Drake projects are fantastic. Drake's music feels different. So I will agree with you. I listen to both. I think that there's a way to talk about what's happening and not have to say, I don't like Drake or I don't like Kendrick. I mean, we've said it on this podcast. It doesn't discredit anything that Drake has done in the past, but Kendrick won this.
Starting point is 00:09:00 This is done. It's over. The crown goes to Kendrick in regards to this beef. But, you know, Drake is still going to put out music that people consume. People are still going to like Drake. I don't think that people are automatically going to hate it. him after this or you should be forced to pick who you like and who you don't just because kentrick clamor went on a ran about hitting drake doesn't mean that we necessarily have to but
Starting point is 00:09:23 i do like kendrick better well said rach um mother's day today we're recording on mother's day we are um did you have a good mother's day did you talk to pretty hair i did talk to pretty hair I face time with her a couple of times. I talked to my sister because today is my sister's birthday and my youngest nephew's birthday, I mean my youngest nephew's birthday and obviously Mother's Day for my sister. So they were going over there to my parents' house to do a little Mother's Day gathering.
Starting point is 00:09:55 So yeah, you know, I talked to them. It was great. I wish I was there. It's one of those. What about you? Talked to my mom. Earlier spoke to her. They're going to hang out with Ebony.
Starting point is 00:10:08 I love my sister, Ebony. She's just a fantastic person. You should want to meet her. She's the type of person you should want to meet. She's equal, fantastic person and degenerate, which is great. She sounds like a lot of fun. Her birthday is coming up, and I got to figure out which type of strap on I'm going to get her. Is she a Gemini?
Starting point is 00:10:33 Do Gemini's use strapples? No, her birthday's coming up. I just want to know she's a tourist or a Gemini. I love how you just, you went past a strap on thing. You know me so well now. Oh, get her a two-way. A two-way, like the one that goes both ways. I don't think that's a strap-on, though.
Starting point is 00:10:50 I think if it goes both ways, it's a double-sided belt. She probably has used one of those before. She's a freak. Yeah, she's a Gemini, June 8th. And boy, is she the classic Gemini? Well, even the way you just described her, you were like, she's a degenerate, and then you said she was something positive, he said. She's the greatest person that will also cut your fucking ears off and show them to you, dripping in blood.
Starting point is 00:11:17 I will say this, Mother's Day, huge day in the BBI. Gigantic day. In the BBI? Yeah. Why? Y'amma's all white. And I've seen them all. And they've been posted.
Starting point is 00:11:37 And I want to let you know. I've seen your mamas. I've seen your white mamas. Your mamas are white. Your dad is white. But in regards to the BBI, what's your point in saying that? I think people,
Starting point is 00:11:59 like the people you have cases on would absolutely acknowledge that their mothers are white. So what's the choice? The only choice in saying it is this. The choice in saying it is that that's the prerequisite to BBI investigative status is you must be biracial. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:22 So there are some of you who I didn't realize probably should have had case files open on you. But now I know where some of your angst comes from. I don't want to let you know that case files will be open. But also it's a day of celebration. Because it's a day to see how many people that are biracial are so super down, ridiculously down. They haven't let the angst get to them. They haven't let the, I'm in one world, out in the other world, quadrued Obama is a mulatto. They haven't let it get to them.
Starting point is 00:13:06 So shout out to them. Magnifying Glass, pat on the back. Those are the two. You know how there's a crest? This is the BBI crest. The BBI crest is a magnifying glass and a pat on the back. Because that's what you get. Even if you get the scrutiny or you get good job, good for you.
Starting point is 00:13:27 I love how invested you are in the BBI. I mean, I, you know, shout out to Jake. Jake. That's his real name. I know you like to call him something different who celebrated. He had his 40th birthday party. which you didn't show up to. Typical van.
Starting point is 00:13:44 I had the bubble guts. Yes, as you texted the group chat with that. But you were missed. Anyways, it was a lovely time celebrating Jake. And, of course, eventually the conversation led to the BBI, which we opened up a case. We, I'm not in it, but Tracy opened up a case. I'm not in it.
Starting point is 00:14:03 I'm not in it. Tracy opened up a case against her own friend. Y'all, nobody could be trusted. her own friend, Wayne. I don't even know if I'm supposed to say that, but Wade got a case. I heard about it.
Starting point is 00:14:20 First of all, I want to say something to Tracy and Jake. What a fantastic couple. Jake is a great guy. Happy Mother's Day to Tracy. Happy BBI inspection day to Tracy. Tracy's great. So smart.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Jake is so fun to hang around. where I talked to him a little bit last night. I said my bottle of Jack Daniels. Great people. But yeah, Trace is always on the lookout because she don't take no shit. She really doesn't. All right. Let's get into the show.

What?
Starting point is 00:16:37 I was leaving Spotify, and I guess USC's commencement had just happened. I'm not sure where it happened, but there were kids in the area that were wearing their USC stuff. Maybe I went out to breakfast or something like that. Maybe they went to Earth Cafe. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. And I saw the kid had his, his sash off and graduating, but he also. had free Palestine
Starting point is 00:17:09 on it as well. A lot of kids that I saw were also voicing their concerns over the ongoing massacre in Palestine and the U.S. is proximity to what's going on. I've seen this at graduations
Starting point is 00:17:27 all over the place. Have you seen this as well? I have. I have. I've seen the protest. Yeah. I have a protest. And when you graduate, That is for most people a once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication, but also a rare moment of expression before you go off into the real world, particularly in college but also in high school as well. A moment to express yourself before you move off into the rat race and you have to get a little bit more cynical about things. It's almost like sometimes college graduation, high school graduation as well, is you saying goodbye to your dreaming vision of the world.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Because now the world's going to start tinkering with you and really putting you to the test to stand behind what it is that you believe in. Rachel challenged that. You're looking. Well, you said college makes you what with your dream? vision of the world? Like, instead it tinkers with it? I feel like college is a place that having a college degree is very important for you to learn the ins and outs of whatever discipline you plan to go into.
Starting point is 00:18:51 They teach you stuff. Obviously, that's very important. I think college is actually more important for the social aspect of it. Because college is more competitive than high school. It costs money. It's almost like, you know how they have preschool for elementary school for school? Yes.
Starting point is 00:19:16 College in a way is like preschool for your life. You're getting job training for this stuff. You're having interpersonal relationships for the first time for most kids. Economics is a factor in this. You're schmoozing. You're doing all of this stuff. It's like mini career training a little bit. And then you go get your on-the-job training when you get to where you are.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Most people have a lot of their first experiences with a more adult world when they get to college. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think it depends how you come in. But for the most part, I think that that's the goal of college. And it, you know, for me, I'll speak for me, I came from a very sheltered. upbringing and then to go to college and have all this responsibility and this independence
Starting point is 00:20:10 and I could explore and I was in charge of myself and I don't really have to answer to anybody in that way. Yes, that was, I don't know why you're bucking your eyes right now. Because that's what I'm saying and you agree. Yeah, I agree. But it was something you said about tinkering like with your dreams. It made me think whatever you said, I feel like the sentiment I got was that like it it was like negative about stepping into the world maybe I just heard you wrong that's why no no no no you're right you you know you you took it right
Starting point is 00:20:42 when you get into the world what normally starts to happen to you is you start having to negotiate your values now I will give credit to the youth the youth is that there's less of that now that I see
Starting point is 00:20:58 um partly because there is so much more communication that more standards are set. In 1995, everybody goes off into their cubbyholes. They have families. They do all of this stuff. Conversations are had over coffee and over dinner or whatever you can leave. Nowadays, social media and our different forms of connectivity
Starting point is 00:21:27 keep issues elevated to a point to where they become, litmus tests on you as a person. And I think that that's sort of new. It's always been kind of the underbelly of things for the good in the back. So I think there are things now that stick with people a little bit more into their 30s and to their 40s and stuff like that. But, you know, what invariably happened after the 60s was that the hippies cut their hair and they went to work.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah. You know, some of the Panthers went into government, the ones that survived. that they didn't kill. So it changes, right? You change. You get older. You become less, you become a little bit more conservative almost by default. That's why the ones that stay where they are, you have to give them a lot of credit for that, the ones that stay consistent to their youthful ideals. That's why I love watching the youth and what they do. All of that, just to get to the fact that one of the ways that students express themselves at a graduation was they walked out on Jerry Seinfeld. I wanted to know what you thought about
Starting point is 00:22:31 this. Jerry Seinfeld was speaking at Duke University. And it was, you know, obviously, their commencement. Duke is a very, very good school, prestigious school. Outside of the audience, but very prestigious. They're the best school. One of the best students there that were waving Palestinian flags. And they introduced Jerry Seinfeld. And a lot of the students walked out, a sizable amount of the students walked out. Give me the audience. Jerry is also serving as our commencement speaker today.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Our commencement speaker, aside from the fact that we're perhaps all wondering whether he's wearing a puffy shirt on the- I promise to be interesting. Because I saw this weaponized. Did you see it bouncing around the Twitter sphere? I think I read about it more than I saw what people were saying, the discourse on Twitter. When you read about it, what did you say? What did it say? To myself, I thought, huh, this is really symbolic because as you touched on graduation already, you know, you're culminating all the things that you learned over the last four or five, maybe longer than that years. College teaches you to think independently. It teaches you to challenge the status quo. It teaches you to observe things that are going on in the world and, you know, decide how you want to interact with those things, how you want to stand for them or against them. I mean, I've put through things. like that when I was in college. So to see a moment that, you know, really takes in everything that
Starting point is 00:24:28 you've learned over these years and you use that moment and you use your voice to stand up for something, I thought symbolically, and to do this at a graduation, I thought it was kind of cool to see. That was just me. You know, is it disruptive? Sure. Protesting is meant to be disrupted. it's meant for you to focus on the message and the intent and to get you to understand what it is they're fighting for or against. So yeah, it was all those things, but I thought the way that it was done, it was a peaceful protest. And it was to me saying we're not going to, we once again are going to bring to light the issues that we're fighting for and we're also, and I didn't know this since I started reading this,
Starting point is 00:25:11 I didn't realize Jerry Seinfeld had been so outspoken more than he has in the past, because he's kind of been apolitical about the war. And his wife has donated money to pro-Israel protest. I didn't know that until I was reading it. So I'm assuming these students were also, and I didn't get that initially at the time, protesting the fact that Jerry Seinfeld was getting, I think he was getting a doctorate degree
Starting point is 00:25:35 and was the commencement speaker at the same time. So I'm usually, yeah, that's what I thought I said. You hit the nail on the head. like anything else this is being volleyballed around some of what you saw on Twitter from people was that this was the latest in an act of blatant anti-Semitism as students walked out on a Jewish commencement speaker who was getting an doctorate therefore connecting Jerry Seinfeld's Jewishness to the reason why the kids there young adults were protesting first of all I want to say, I think Jerry Seinfeld is a nice guy. Funny, always gotten a lot of
Starting point is 00:26:30 entertainment from Jerry Seinfeld. And let me tell you why I have to say that. And I'm being serious about that because a lot of people are going to wonder why you say that. I just think about one moment that Jerry Seinfeld had. It was on this comedians round tape that they had. And it was Jerry Seinfeld, Ricky Trevese. Maybe we'll even put it in. Jerry Seinfeld, Ricky Jervase, Chris Rock, Louis C. K. I don't think I'm leaving anybody out.
Starting point is 00:27:02 And Louis C.K. begins to say that he says nigger on stage and he's saying the N-word. He's in front of Chris Rock. And Chris Rock is right there and Louis C.K. goes
Starting point is 00:27:18 Chris Rock says Louis C.K. He says, you have all of the qualities that people associate with black people. All the negative qualities that people associate with black people, Louis K. You have them in the Louis K. said, so what you're saying is
Starting point is 00:27:34 I'm a nigger. He says it like that. And Chris Rock, a little bit uncomfortable, you can see it, but goes with the flow. Yeah, you're the niggers of all the niggers that I know. And then Rock, a little bit of a nervous laugh, but he goes with it. Jervais and
Starting point is 00:27:53 Louis K all started to laugh. And then, Richard Jerva's goes, oh my God, the nigger still's been broken. So he starts to say, Nick. All right, then they volleyball it back for a second. And Jerry Seinfeld is disgusting. Never met Jerry Seinfeld. Don't know Jerry Seinfeld. Jerry Seinfeld is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:28:14 He's going, no. I don't think that that's funny. I don't think any of that's funny. He goes, I haven't found the humor in the word, and nor do I seek the humor in the world. And I thought, I was like, oh, shit. Okay. It's just part of me that I can't forget that in a moment where everybody else was going along with the nigger shit, that Jerry Seinfeld just went, nah, not me.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Sure. So Jerry Seinfeld, I believe, is a nice guy, at least in that sense. But I did. I was very dismayed to see people intentionally mislead other. to say that the protest was in any way anti-Semitic. Right. It's about politics like anything else. Jerry Seinfeld has been ardent and strident in his support for Israel.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Jerry Seinfeld has gone down and visited it with the IDF. Jerry Seinfeld has talked about his Zionism and his connection to politically to Israel and why that's important to him. That is what they're protesting. then they're protesting that. That's the thing they don't like. That's the thing that bothers them. That's the thing that they are up in arms about.
Starting point is 00:29:40 That's fair. Yeah. That's fair. So for everyone that's looking to once again conflate anti-Semitism with anti-Zionism, I think people like that continue to prove that they are bad faith actors and that they're not interested in any sort of intellectual discussion that is about geopolitical geopolitics history, the human condition, or how we move forward better as a world community.
Starting point is 00:30:18 And like we talked about before, keeping power to check. Now, I will say this, it's important that we keep an eye on anti-Muslim sentiment that's going on because it's becoming emboldened. I'm seeing a lot of things that are happening to Muslims and brown people that are mistaken for being Muslims, not get covered with nearabouts, nearabouts the same intensity that any hint of anti-Semitism is being covered. It's also important that we keep an eye on anti-Semitism and that we keep having talks that are brave and bold and uncompromising. so that we are able to distinguish the difference and the nuances in all of these things. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Talked about on the last podcast, we have to continue going. This was not an anti-Semitic protest. This was a protest of politics and someone who has connected themselves with a certain type of politics that people call, that people don't agree. I thought it was very important to recognize that at the topic show. It was, it's interesting to me, though, as I watch these students' protest, graduation graduations and graduation ceremonies and we see what and we see what they obviously did have been doing before on on campuses as well but as schools ending it makes me wonder if the protests will as well or will it carry out in other ways I mean obviously protests aren't
Starting point is 00:31:52 just happening on campuses but we've seen so much attention surrounding it we've seen because of what's happened starting in Columbia, we've seen that go widespread across campuses around the country. And now the school is ending and campuses are gone, I'm just wondering if some of the momentum will as well. It just made me think of that. I was like, well, these people are moving on. They're graduating. People are going home. They're getting jobs, internships, whatever may be. And I wonder, well, because it's been bringing a lot of attention. And it's, I don't know if it's, if the effect has been putting pressure on these administrations where they're actually doing something, but we're all talking about it.
Starting point is 00:32:34 And I just hope the momentum continues. That was also a thought I had as I was watching. Yeah, I get it. There's something that I think about when I think about the fact that school was ending as well. I think about the retribution that some of these kids might face. In jobs? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:56 The next salvo in this, at least on the home front, And as we talk, we should make sure to keep our eye on the ball and Rafa and a bombing campaign that's begun in a ground campaign that's due to get kicked off every day now and rising tensions between the United States government and Israel. The question about whether or not we're going to supply special types of munitions that might be used in the government. ground invasion Rafa. I encourage everyone to go watch the latest
Starting point is 00:33:35 episode of Al Jazeera up front. That's with Mark Ramon Hill. It's a very lively discussion. You guys should go
Starting point is 00:33:45 check it out. I don't want to give a synopsis of it. It's very, very good having to do with Rafa and the way
Starting point is 00:33:51 and it's always very respectful as well between him and his counterpart on there I forgot the woman's name, but I've seen her in another debate as well. She was in her debate with, Chink from the Young Turks, Dennis Praker, and a really sharp comedian.
Starting point is 00:34:13 I watched the debate with them as well. And so I saw her again. I was like, oh, I'll watch that. She's stalking the mark. It was very eye-opening discussion between them. It's only about 16 minutes. It's not a lot of heavy lifting right there. A little higher running homework for everyone.
Starting point is 00:34:26 But it got at some of the cognitive dissonance. that exists, I think, for people that can't see the scale of what's happening over there. But it was done very civilly. There were disagreements and they didn't seem to be animus. And I think that's a great case study in the way that we should be talking about. But as I was saying, the next album in this is actually going to be about trying to make sure that we are upon every single case of retribution in the in the in the private sector jobs positions clerkships internships all of those things that that uh that you're talking about right there
Starting point is 00:35:16 some of these some very important people captains of industry have threatened to not hire people or to fire them or to pressure them in any way. So that's going to be very important to pay attention to. And we've seen people lose their jobs. We've covered that on or internships. I can't remember what it was. We've covered it here on podcasts.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Yeah. No, you're right. And then at some point, mending our communities, it's going to be important as well. Absolutely. That's all. This episode is brought to you by WeatherTech.

Starting point is 00:36:46 Order now at order. Dot sweetgreen.com. What's your opinion of Hannibal Lecter? First time you ever saw. Tell me your first. Tell me your first experience with Hannibal Lecter. Lech. Are you ready for this?
Starting point is 00:37:02 Yeah, give it up. Never seen Silence of the Lambs. So you've never seen any Hannibal Lecter related material? I mean, I know what he looks like. I know Jody Foster's in the movie. I know he eats people. Yeah. I know it is Anthony Hopkins.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Yes. I know that there's some sort of mask with like... With a mask on him because he is dangerous. so he couldn't. Right, right. He's in jail. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's all I know. Okay. I mean, that's all. I mean, if you've never seen Silence of the Lambs, it is, but it's not just Silence of the Lambs. Anthony Hopkins plays him, I think, in three movies. What? Three months. That's true. No, I mean, I'm just, I have, I don't know this. I've never heard of this.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Yeah, he plays, Anthony Hopkins plays Hannibal Lecter. in Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal Oh, okay, I remember hearing about that All right, all right. And then in a movie called Red Dragon. Oh, so he doesn't die, is what you're telling you.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Well, these movies are at different time periods. Okay, but I meant he doesn't die in Silence of the Lams. He doesn't die in Silence of the Lams. No, he doesn't. Interesting thing about Red Dragon, would you like some trivia? Let's go. Red, Red,
Starting point is 00:38:27 Dragon is a remake of a movie called Manhunterner, which was directed by Michael Mann in the 80s. This movie also featured Dr. Hannibal Lecter, but not played by Anthony Hopkins. Brian Cox of Succession played Dr. Hannibal Lecter in Manhunter, which is a fantastic movie. Like legitimately fantastic.
Starting point is 00:39:06 William Peterson plays the same role in Manhunter that Edward Norton played in Red Dragon, especially remake of the same movie. Manhunter, fantastic film. So, anything obvious, it's not the only guy that I've played Hannibal Lecter. I think he got played on television, too, by much younger. I think anyway.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Hannibal Lecter is a serial killer who eats people. You're right. Sort of a moral compass. He tries to only eat rude people, but he'll eat who he has to fucking eat. Oh, really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:37 He only eats rude people. Like, he says he tries to only eat the rude. Trump loves Hannibal Lecter. Play the audio. Silence of the Lamb. Has anyone ever seen the silence of the left? The late great Hannibal Lecter. He's a wonderful man.
Starting point is 00:39:53 He oftentimes would have a friend for dinner. Remember the last scene? Excuse me, I'm about to have a friend for dinner. Is this poor doctor? I'm about to have a friend for dinner. But Hannibal Lector, congratulations. The late-grade Hannibal Lekker, we have people that are being released into our country
Starting point is 00:40:11 that we don't want in our country. First of all, I'm sure you like this. Listen, don't do that. Don't start. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I did not like it. Hold on. Hold on. You guys. Rachel is Maga.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Like, Rachel, look at her. Rachel, I knew you were going to do this. Rachel, vagina. Rachel. Wait. Trump is funny. I'm sorry. He is. He is. You don't have a sense of humor if you can't laugh at it,
Starting point is 00:40:51 but I can also separate that from the monster, from the Hannibal Lecter he really is. He's funny. Come on, you laughed at that, right? It came out of nowhere, man. It came out of nowhere. Why? So my thing about it is this.
Starting point is 00:41:08 We have so many conversations about Joe Biden and his energy, his mental acuity, all those things. Yes. Trump's brain is fucking rotting. Are you fucking kidding me? The first iteration of Donald Trump, the first edition from the 2016 early days, seems like
Starting point is 00:41:32 fucking ages ago now. Yeah, that guy stumbled over some words and said crazy shit. Okay, cool. Trump is losing it. What the fuck is he talking about? Who is he talking to? Like he's like very nice guy, Hannibal Lecter,
Starting point is 00:41:51 and it continues to go on. He's describing Hannibal Lecter as if he's an actual person, by the way. He continues to say the late great Hannibal Lecter. He died. Which, to your point, Hannibal Lecter never died in any of these films, at least not that I remember.
Starting point is 00:42:09 He doesn't die in Hannibal. He didn't die in Silence of the Lambs. He doesn't die in Red Dragon. Red Dragon actually takes place before Silence of the Lambs. I was going to happen. So it's like, what I saw this I'm not even
Starting point is 00:42:27 I'm like what the fuck but that's and this is what not drives me crazy but just baffles me there were 80,000 to 100,000 people who attended this rally
Starting point is 00:42:43 this MAGA rally and they're cheering him on are they not paying attention to what he's saying? Are these videos not circulating and trickled down are trickling down to the masses or do people just not care? Are they voting on party lines and they're ignoring the fact that Trump's going to be there and they're hoping that he builds an administration around him that makes the decisions that they want?
Starting point is 00:43:04 I just don't understand how you can continue. You can so, to your point, point out Joe Biden tripping or falling or, you know, having a pause or stumbling, getting the names of somebody wrong or whatever it is. do all of that. Joe is old. But for some reason, Trump always gets a pass, even in our own community, which he has particularly attacked. I just don't understand. I think the concerning thing is that people were listening to that and 100,000 people were cheering him on, even more so. And he just seems to be picking up steam. It's like the man cannot be stopped. I think he's actually losing state. Do you? Because I'm reading today
Starting point is 00:43:52 about the rise in black men supporting him. I'm so tired. I'm so tired of him. I know I know that's, I know it's hard. Like, I hear sometimes I hear it's not. But then it's like it's been on the rise since 2016. The percentages continue to go up. And then, you know, you had somebody a prominent. I don't know really how much his opinion really matters. Come out. Lawrence Taylor, come out and say that he was endorsing. You know what the real problem is? What? The real problem is.
Starting point is 00:44:19 is. And look, Lawrence Taylor tackled a lot of fucking quarterbacks. Lawrence Taylor tackled a lot of quarterbacks. He was on a quarterback
Starting point is 00:44:30 like a pack of wild dogs. Remember that? But who gives a fuck? Like, I know. Do you know what the only thing
Starting point is 00:44:43 that's not the only thing that's sad about Lawrence Taylor endorsing Donald Trump is? there's something sad about is that now we have to remind people who Lawrence Taylor is. And they are being reminded.
Starting point is 00:44:59 So that's the sad thing. The sad thing is that the community is so forgiving and you had a drug problem and we don't want to crucify you for it and you did all kinds of crazy shit and that is what it is. And last week if Lawrence Taylor walked into a room,
Starting point is 00:45:15 everybody would have been like, LT, LT, LT, what's up, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it probably would have been slightly inappropriate to do it then, I guess, whatever. But now because of this, people are going to have to remind people who Lawrence Taylor is and some of the things that Lawrence Taylor has been through in his life. Does that mean that he can't have an opinion where he likes Donald, where he likes Donald Trump? No, it doesn't mean that at all. But what it does mean is we get to say, we don't fucking care what Lawrence Taylor has to say. What it means is that we get to say the political opinions of Lawrence Taylor
Starting point is 00:45:57 can get thrown in the Lou Wayne Kodak Blackbin of we don't fucking care. Wow. Politically, we don't care. Hey, we love what you've done. You sack the quarterback. You rap. You do your shit. We love
Starting point is 00:46:14 all of that. We love all of that. Wayne actually looked at a little bit different because Wayne was definitely a quick poor quote. Sharii Godge say, like, but... That's what
Starting point is 00:46:23 saying. Wayne is more influence or keep going. But at least Wayne hasn't kept it going. Sure.
Starting point is 00:46:30 You haven't seen Wayne and Mar-a-Lago and all of that stuff. Wayne did some shit to kind of be the case. It's like,
Starting point is 00:46:36 it fucking sucks, but it's more savvy on Trump's part that it is bad on Wayne's part. And yes, guys, I am being a homer
Starting point is 00:46:42 right now because Dwayne Carter is from Louisiana. I apologize to you guys. But, what, Lawrence Taylor has to say about Donald Trump. Put Lawrence Taylor's
Starting point is 00:46:53 audio in right here. I just want to say a Democrat and I've always been a Democrat until I met this man right here. I'll tell you he will not have to worry about nobody
Starting point is 00:47:20 in my family ever vote for a Democrat again. Don't you just love that guy? Yeah, it's fine. It's fine. Let me ask you this Let me ask you this
Starting point is 00:47:42 Who would you care about? So we don't care that Lawrence Taylor We don't care that Lawrence Taylor Has endorsed Donald Trump Doesn't move me one fucking Iota What black man would I care about? What black man or woman If they went magma
Starting point is 00:47:58 Would you freak out? You? Okay The judge Oh wow Can you imagine? Yeah, it would be so crazy. The judge went back.
Starting point is 00:48:10 Side note, Jake had a great idea at the birthday party that as you all bring BBI cases that the judge should preside with these cases. I couldn't. I hadn't heard of better Jake's than a BBI. That's just right. There are a lot of black men. I mean, Bacari Sellers coming on this podcast. Oh, okay. Don't use, don't use somebody like that.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Think about someone that is in the same space. in the same space of a Lawrence Taylor. Okay. In the same thing. Like a big deal celebrity type of legend type. Not like a political. If LeBron came out because of the influence that he has, oh, you're making a face.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Has he? He hasn't. He's the furthest thing from Maga, but I don't know that I would care. It's not what he would do to me. It's the influence. So maybe you want to know who would make me mad. You don't want to know who I think.
Starting point is 00:49:04 All right, all right, all right. How about a black public figure? Can't be a politician. Who would actually make me... Singer, actor, like somebody, they would really be able to parade out there to get us.
Starting point is 00:49:23 I got one answer that if they got this guy, it would be open. For you? Yeah. Who? Jordan. If Maga some way got to Georgia.
Starting point is 00:49:39 It would be a fucking disaster. That's their last infinity stone. The last nigger infinity stone for Maga will be Jordan. It would be Jordan fucking tennis shoe MAGA. It would be Jordan at Mar-a-Lago, Jordan and Trump playing golf. It would be Jordan and Trump being pals. and that would be
Starting point is 00:50:08 Jordan would be too much Jordan would be the one that would be Lawrence Taylor doesn't fucking matter so these fucking rappers don't fucking matter nobody cares who little pump is going to vote for but see somebody like a fucking Jordan a Jordan would be crazy
Starting point is 00:50:26 I still think LeBron would too you think that okay here's a question for the audience question for the audience what would be more devastating if LeBron went MAGA or if Jordan went MAG we're going to put this on our
Starting point is 00:50:42 Lawrence Taylor went MAGA nobody fucking cares but if it was Jordan or LeBron what would be more devastating if they went back? I'm saying it's Jordan I'm saying it's LeBron
Starting point is 00:51:00 because it would have it would have. Yeah. It's got to be somebody who's been outspoken, because Jordan doesn't really speak, doesn't speak out of it. It's got to be somebody to me who's been outspoken. It's like, if Kendrick came out
Starting point is 00:51:14 and said he was madden, it's like, who are you? It would be so anti-Kindrake. Like, to me, that, and I think people would follow what he did. Think about it. Let me tell you something right now. Boy, if Kendrick put Donald Trump in a not like us video,
Starting point is 00:51:36 the great Kendrick Lamar no but look the reason why I think Jordan would hit hard is because like Jordan had been political Jordan would be like hey I never wanted to get into politics but there was somebody who got me off the couch
Starting point is 00:52:02 that's a good point this great man Donald Trump that's a good point and one of these this is somebody said Drake was madden or Drake went to a Trump rally or something you see this I did not see that but I could see Drake
Starting point is 00:52:17 I could see Drake being like I'm just curious to see what it's like I could see him I could easily see him doing that like guys I don't support it but I just wanted to see what it's like to 10 and I wanted to talk to the people
Starting point is 00:52:31 maybe I just made that up well I wouldn't get that right maybe I just make that up maybe I just made that up by the way I'm not saying that Drake is Mag I'm just saying that, you know, maybe I just, I saw something about a Trump rally
Starting point is 00:52:47 was in one of these situations or somebody was talking about something. Maybe they were just playing this music. This episode is brought to you by Spectrum Business. It's not a joke. It's not a gag.
Starting point is 00:54:40 It's not a bit. Glenn Davis is my father's brother's son. I don't know how you guys counted up where you're from, but that's a first cousin. Now, if you put a picture of me next to Glenn Davis right now, I promise you you'll see you. I'll see you. Okay, you'll see.
Starting point is 00:55:07 That's a first cousin right there. All right. he's been sentenced to 40 months in prison. It was determined that he defrauded the NBA's health care plan when it's 38 since the three years of supervised release in addition to the 40-month prison term. In November 2020, he was found guilty of health care fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to make false statements
Starting point is 00:55:33 and conspiracy to commit health care and wire fraud. This was along with several other NBA players. that they say defrauded the NBA's insurance plan for players. Their family members were $5,000. Over the years, Davis allegedly, I guess, been adjudicated now, submitted a grand total of $132,000 with the claims and then said that he had received $27,000 to do that work in 2019.
Starting point is 00:56:07 The authorities determined that he was actually. actually in Las Vegas and later to the parents that they were some day. Terrence Williams and Will Biden were also convicted in the case. Those guys are also ex-Gd-A players. Terrence Williams
Starting point is 00:56:21 received a 10-year prison sentence. Yeah, they said he was the rainleader. Will Biden received an 18-month prison sentence. I want to say this. There's no way I can be objective about this. I'm not going to
Starting point is 00:56:42 try to be objective about this. I've spoken to Glenn this weekend and Glenn desperately wants the opportunity to tell his story. And he believes that he has been wronged by the NBA and by the government.
Starting point is 00:57:04 I love my cousin. Got a lot of love for him and I want the best for him. So whatever I can do to help him in this situation, I will. And that's the deal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:26 People are talking about a double standard that exists between him and Brett Farr, and what's going on. Of course there's a double standard. Of course there's a double standard. There's certainly a double standard. Glenn is accused of, and these other brothers are accused, now convicted of defrauding an insurance.
Starting point is 00:57:56 insurance plan. Brett Farve was accused, and we know that he did, defrauding a fund directly for the poor disenfranchised economically people of Mississippi. And Brett Farve has been protected in every way, in every way, at every stop by the powers that be in Mississippi and, in my opinion, the media as well. Whereas Flynn has been lampooned, excoriated to me, made fun of. Now look, he makes it easy.
Starting point is 00:58:44 He likes to have a good time, even after this conviction came down, his sentencing came down. He was joking about it. But there's clearly a double standard here. But, I mean, going into anything with the criminal justice is. We have to know that there's going to be a double standard. But I am going to do everything to provide my family with the opportunity to tell their story.
Starting point is 00:59:12 So that's how that goes. Yeah. I mean, if he feels he was wrongly convicted, he should have the opportunity to tell his story. The only thing I will say to that, and I can say anything, a lot because your family, the whole double standard thing, I will say that it's absolutely unfair that he is being accused of this. and yes found guilty but you know he's maintaining his innocence been accused of this and he's going to go to jail for this many years and somebody who did something as despicable and disgusting to the less fortunate is getting nothing and i agree with you on the media thing the only pushback i would say about the double standard is is if this was in the same jurisdiction like ones and you know they're both both being a glen's case is federal threats it's federal issue and the people who have been charged, convicted, or pled guilty, whatever, Mississippi, state and federal,
Starting point is 01:00:08 it's two different jurisdictions. So it's hard to say, like, if they were both in the Southern District of New York, like Glenn's case, and one got one and one the other, I'd be like, yeah, that's a double standard. That's so unfair. But it's hard to say that when it's two totally different states, different people deciding to prosecute the case.
Starting point is 01:00:26 So it's a little tough to say it that way. But it is absolutely unfair. it's let me put you like this yeah you're right the devil's standard is largely cosmetic in appearance um you're right and i just know that when you're one of your family members gets in trouble i'll make sure that i keep it real as well i'll make sure that i also yeah exactly when something happens i'll make sure that i go yeah well just to let you know this is the deal I'll be consistent as well, Rachel. I can't wait.
Starting point is 01:01:03 As a matter of fact, I might set one of your family members up. Go for it. I'll tell you which ones are more susceptible to it. They are all. It's a bunch of niggas. I can get them all. I could set one of your family members up so easily. As this is higher learning, I wanted to be clear that they are not in the same jurisdiction.
Starting point is 01:01:22 They are not the same people who are deciding what they're charged with and not. It's not the same. That's all I was pointing out. But it's so unfair. It's so unfair. Just can't wait. Can't wait. You tell a judge and pretty hair, they better be up to date on all their taxes.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Oh, that's the person who didn't pay them for like eight years. I'm good now. It was so funny. It was so funny when the tax thing came down on me. I told you this, right? Like when I didn't pay taxes for like seven years. And then I thought they were going to come back and be like, ah, you owe like $35,000. these nipples bust my
Starting point is 01:02:01 motherfucking head. I remember in that moment I just laughed. I was just like man, it's so quaint the way I try to ruin my life. I really try. You can't get out of your own way. Well, glad you're back. No, I don't know. I'm zeroed out.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Boom. You can call me Mr. I-R-S. E-S-S. Oh, before we get, before we move on, I want to give, I want to tell people a show that they should be watching. Rachel, have you watched interview with the vampire? There's a show about that?
Starting point is 01:02:36 Yeah. Is it based off the movie? Yeah, well, it's based off the Anne Rice novels, yeah. But, I mean, the movie is not. Yeah. What station, or at me station? I'm dating myself. Where can you watch it? Wait, wait, turn it down.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Rachel, Rachel, adjust that antenna so we can catch Channel 3. I'm telling you, turn it down so we can catch Channel 3. I know it come on Channel 3, right? Come on Channel 3. It's on AMC. Okay. Yeah. And this time, Louis, the vampire that falls in love with the stat, is a nigger.
Starting point is 01:03:22 Black. Black. It's black. I might watch it. It's good. The first episode, I watched it, watching it in there with Tevica. It was. as intense as I've ever seen.
Starting point is 01:03:33 I was freaking out. Scared? It's just intense, man. It's a lot of intense shit happening. A lot of what the fuck? Very intense. Look at it. Weca wika.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Takes place in New Orleans. Everybody's all horned up, sexed up. And they got weird family members doing crazy stuff. I'm hooked on the show. I love a good vampire show. I love vampires. I don't think of. The only vampire stuff I've ever watched is Twilight.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Ever. yeah what else is out there Dracula well the vampire stuff is out there this is so funny to me wait wait that's so hilarious that's funny man hold on for a second like just real quick
Starting point is 01:04:25 we're not going to do this hold on but look we're not going to do the same bit that we do all the time is that Rachel haven't seen shit we're not going to do that because it's tired. But I'll say this. That's funny. That's funny to me.
Starting point is 01:04:39 You go like, on the vampire stuff, I see this Twilight. That's it. Because there's a shit ton of vampire stuff. Right? And you go, what else is out there? As if Twilight is the only vampire shit that has come out. Do you realize that vampires
Starting point is 01:04:58 had like a cultural resurgence in like the last 15 years? Everybody was vamping it up. Vamping all over. Name you one other thing I would be familiar with. The Vampire Diaries? The show. That's a show.
Starting point is 01:05:12 It's a huge deal. I don't know anything about it. I don't know who's on it. True blood. I know you know that. True blood. I was going to say blue blood, but I didn't want to get it wrong.
Starting point is 01:05:21 Thank God I did. True blood. Vampires. Lots of different vampire shit's been coming out. They vamp it up. Okay. This interview with the vampire. Blade is about to drop.
Starting point is 01:05:33 Okay, they're vamping around the town. Hot young vamps. Bamping it up. This is good, though. It's too much. Almost too much. I want to talk to you about this teacher. You see this with the braids?
Starting point is 01:05:53 So if you guys don't know, there's a teacher who went viral because he was letting some students unbraid his hair. Okay. And this guy's name is Jack Lee, JAQ. That's what he goes by on TikTok. When he posted a video, he's a black science teacher. He uses TikTok to show his interactions with his students. The video went viral of him letting female students unbrain his hair. We're going to play a little bit of the video for you right now because you haven't seen it.
Starting point is 01:06:27 A picture right there, you see him right there. And he's letting the ladies, the young ladies there, little young girls. unbrained his hair. And everybody went inappropriate, inappropriate, in a probe, before we even get to what happened to this guy, did you think the video was inappropriate? Yes. Tell me why.
Starting point is 01:06:44 And I'm sure people are like, oh, of course Rachel does. She's such a prude. First off, it bothered me that everybody had a rat tail comb because it meant that he came prepared to ask the girls to break his hair. Like, it wasn't like a spontaneous thing, like, hey, I'm going to be late
Starting point is 01:07:02 because he says in the video, he had an appointment. after. Hey, I'm going to be late. And someone who's like, oh, I'll take your hair out. Oh, well, I'll take your hair out. Whatever. He came with the, he provided the rat tail combs. He had to, right? Everybody had one. There were like four girls working on his head.
Starting point is 01:07:19 Remember that Mario song, Braided My Hair? Yeah. Loved it. Mm-hmm. There's a sexual undertone to the song. Because there's an intimacy about braiding, unbraiding hair. You're close. You're like, you're like,
Starting point is 01:07:37 Your bodies have to pretty much be touching. You can smell each other. There is a close. You're looking at me. There's a closeness about this act. And to have four young girls surrounding you and doing this, I just to me goes a little bit too far. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:08:00 It does. And it does. Man, you're making a face like you disagree with me. but it's an intimate moment. The reason Mario could turn it into a sexual song is because of the intimacy that is attached to it. Go back, listen to the lyrics. Okay, this is what I'll say about that.
Starting point is 01:08:25 The braid your hair song is, braid my hair song is very intimate because of the person who's braiding the hair, right? You know what I mean? Like if Mario was paying $25 dollars to somebody up the street to break his hair, it wouldn't be all sensuous and sexual then. It wouldn't be none of that then.
Starting point is 01:08:48 The reason he could turn it into something sensuals because the act can be sensual. If he was asking her to open up a jar or if he was asking her to go sharpen her, like pass out these papers, I don't know. You can't turn it into the same thing. So let me tell you something. I don't try to do that. Don't try to do that. Wait, wait, wait, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:09:07 I got a story. I got a story. It's so funny that you say that. Is I'm at my homeboy's house in time. And we all in that chilling. And I open up a jar. Making the suck. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:09:34 Everybody's chilling. I don't have a girl with me. Okay. But my home boy has his girl. there with him. It's like, you said go over to this girl's house and everybody would chill. The jar of olives. And I
Starting point is 01:09:51 opened up the jar of olives because his girl asked me to. She couldn't open them. She gave me the jar I opened it. He got mad. Right there heard from everywhere. He got mad. I never forget it.
Starting point is 01:10:07 We diss this nigga forever. He got mad. He got pissed off. He's like, I'll open that for you. Don't ask another man to open ship for you. She should have probably asked you, but I don't think you should have got that upset. I mean, not you, or man, but I don't think you should have that upset.
Starting point is 01:10:22 Why? What's going on? I just think that the male ego is fragile in that sense. If I was in a room full of men and my man's next to me and I don't ask my man to open up something for me, of course he's going to feel a certain way. Like, why you didn't ask me?
Starting point is 01:10:40 Your man is wayfish. And he looks like he can't get the, job done. But there's 265 pounds of big black buck. Here for all of your for all of your jar opening
Starting point is 01:10:54 needs. I'm a buck. That's what I am. I'm a big black buck. So you don't have a problem with this man, what he did. So I'll tell you why. You will let your daughter unbraid his
Starting point is 01:11:10 hair. So I'll tell you why. First of all, It's something that probably shouldn't be done. I don't think it's essentially. I think that's what I was having a problem. It's probably something that shouldn't be done, right? I don't think he meant it to be that way at all. I do think he was totally innocent, but it lends, it appears that way.
Starting point is 01:11:29 But do you know. But do you know why this went as far as it did to me? Why? Because he's handsome. The fact that he's a good-looking, younger teacher makes it look as if
Starting point is 01:11:52 either those young girls were crushing on him or that he was into something untoward. Even one of the mothers came out maybe this is true. I saw the video but it could be bullshit. It could have been somebody just doing the skin. One of the mothers came out
Starting point is 01:12:12 and said, why didn't you ask me to braid your hair? I would have brage your hair. I would have braids your hair. fix your dinner, blah, blah, blah, blah, right? I think the optics of it were young, handsome, with it, young teacher.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Maybe some of these girls have a little of questions on him or something, and maybe he's indulging that by letting them braid his hair. That's how it would have looked to people. I think that this is something, now just to let you guys know how the story turned out, this guy apparently lost his job.
Starting point is 01:12:46 and on a 10th he came back and read letters that students and others wrote him said they'll miss him and alluding to the notion that he was fired he cried in the video right so it looks like he lost his job because the hairbraiding thing went so viral and everybody pounced upon this and made into a big deal
Starting point is 01:13:11 okay this man lost his job I do not think this man should have lost his job Even if the judgment was poor, there is somebody from central casting that we understand to have inappropriate relationships with students. There's a 33-year-old blonde woman. If she is teaching your son somewhere, make sure that you put a camera in the classroom.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Because if a 33-year-old blonde woman is teaching your son, she might end up instructing him in more than just geometry. Every time I see teacher guilty of having inappropriate relationships with the student, it's 33-year-old blonde lady who's doing this every single time. Am I making this up? Am I the only person that sees this? 33-year-old blonde lady who's doing this every time I see it. I don't see brothers involved in this stuff that much.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Maybe it's not publicizing as much. I'm just saying in this situation, I think this was probably overblown on social media and it cost this man his job. Is hair braiding sensual? No. I used to get my hair braided by a lady named Tanya. Rest and peace of Tanya.
Starting point is 01:14:38 She was amazing at braiding hair. there was absolutely nothing central about it. As my eyes watered and my tears, tears came down my face. I'm definitely tempted to hate it. But so I don't think there's anything sensual about it. You're talking about a woman. I'm assuming this woman, that's what she did. She would braid people's hair on the side.
Starting point is 01:15:01 That's different. This man is a teacher. And I do not think this man should have lost his job. I absolutely don't. I do think that what happens is these teachers try to be too cool. And then the administration isn't down with how, like, lacks or comfortable these teachers like him get with these students. It's easy for it to happen. I used to be a substitute teacher, especially when you're a younger teacher and you're teaching.
Starting point is 01:15:33 I was 22 and I would be in high schools. They were. They were. And I had to go back to elementary. I had to go to elementary. Yeah, it was too much. Because it was too much. I would get phone numbers left on my desk.
Starting point is 01:15:47 I would just, it was, it was so, I get in trouble because I was out of uniform, but because they didn't know I was a teacher. I had to leave. It was a year. I know I went down to elementary. But my point is, is sometimes these teachers try to do, I love teachers. I work with a foundation that is all about uplifting the teacher profession. I love to see teachers enjoy what.
Starting point is 01:16:06 they do, be passionate and step outside the box and really, you know, do what they need to do to encourage their students to achieve their best. We all have, we have a saying with the foundation. It only takes one. We all have that teacher that made a huge difference or teachers in our lives. But sometimes they go too far in trying to be too down with their students. And I think this was an example of it going too far. I do not think this man's intentions were bad. I don't think he's any type of, he doesn't seem to be an inappropriate guy. But this was too much. It's too much.
Starting point is 01:16:40 And I'm sorry, I don't care what you say. If you are not a hair braider, if you are not a hair braider, if you are, this is not what you do on the side, there's a, like, there have been dudes that I've been like, you want me to braid your hair? I don't know how to braid hair. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You want to place your hair? So this, this hair braiding kink is a racial thing.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Everybody has a king. No, it's a thing. It's not a kink. Some people like to watch ass jobs. The other people like have like a hair braiding kink. Like you know what I mean? It's like is Kevin Moore makes films, tan lines, stuff like that. It's some people like that type of thing.
Starting point is 01:17:20 And then some people have like a hair braiding kink. I bet there's a website for a hairbreading king. Let me see. Rachel, because I never knew. Help. It's not a king. Let me see. I'm just saying
Starting point is 01:17:36 Hair braiding. Listen to the song. Chris, we got Chris we got Chris subbing in for Ashley today helping us out. Take us out to Mario Braid my hair. No,
Starting point is 01:17:48 no, no, that's not what we're getting out to. You're getting out to something different. Oh, you, no, I forgot about that. Yeah. By the way, when you, when I put a hair braiding kink in,
Starting point is 01:18:01 it's, it goes to, Braiding kinky hair It's not a thing It's not a kink I'm just saying It's like it can be a flirtatious moments
Starting point is 01:18:18 You know There are hair braiding porn videos On porn humphs Of course It's weird All right man I don't want to lose you Come back
Starting point is 01:18:31 Come back Come back There's this woman on this woman on Oh no. Stop. Okay, so look, this is real quick. This is this woman on Reddit and she posted
Starting point is 01:18:45 She said, my guy wants me to braid my hair for sex. So it's a recent development, but my BF told me that he wants wants me to braid my hair and two braids the next time we have sex. Any other guys into this? What do you think he likes about it? And then, wow, it's an innocence thing.
Starting point is 01:19:02 You're cute and youthful and pure with braids. He can pull on when it gets nasty. every guy likes the contrast of innocence with a not so innocent context where Nihai socks too they go together well Signed Bobby Drake Graham No I'm just joking It was a joke It was a joke
Starting point is 01:19:21 It's a joke that's actually That's not a funny joke Because those allegations are true It's just a joke Okay I don't know what's true or not But I'm assuming that that's not true It's a joke
Starting point is 01:19:34 It's a joke Oh, let me see. Look, ask him to do it for you. I do it for my sister sometimes. It's freaking. All right, look. You guys, we're all going to leave to a song. A lot of people have said that the song of the summer
Starting point is 01:20:01 is not like us, Kendrick Lamar, which seems like it's going to debut at number one. The song is the most played rap song of the year thus far. That's not the song of the song. I don't know who this artist is. I wasn't able to find it. But I heard the song of the summer. It's an anthem.
Starting point is 01:20:32 It's an anthem of inclusivity. It's an anthem that celebrates different communities. And it's also part of the resurgence of both. Black country hip hop. Okay. And I'll be honest with you. This song is not super new,
Starting point is 01:21:04 but I'm just hearing. I saw something that said the song came out like five months ago. Oh, okay. So it is still recent. I thought you could say that. Okay. The song, I think it's by somebody
Starting point is 01:21:22 called Sunky Angel. Okay. Sunky Angel, I think, is the name of the song. It's the name of the person. I'm actually not sure, the name of the woman. But the name of the song, I don't even want to tell you the name of the song. Just give us the audio. Yo, Tiddy's at the top.
Starting point is 01:22:41 Dig at the bottom. Rachel, what you think? I think it's transparent. No questions need to be asked. The song is said. I'm letting you know up front what's going down. So that won't be a fucking problem.
Starting point is 01:22:56 I like the transparency of it. I asked the round about the song about whether or not the song was transphobic. You asked who? A bunch of people. Oh. Because, you know, the song is catchy as shit. And I want to make sure I wasn't
Starting point is 01:23:13 celebrating the wrong thing. I just think I love... I think in the lyrics, she says she's trans. Yeah, she's true. Yeah. But I'm sure a trans person make something transphobic. Sure.
Starting point is 01:23:25 So, I don't know. I celebrate that shit. Okay? I celebrate that song. It is catchy. It is catchy as shit. I put that in the, some of the greatest
Starting point is 01:23:38 LGBTQ specific music that I've heard. And what I mean that, I mean, obviously... I don't know about that now. Well, this is what I mean. When I'm talking about specific music, obviously, they're fantastic. artists from the community and all walks of life.
Starting point is 01:23:55 But I'm talking about that song as it goes along with what what in the butt. Who sings that? What what in the butt? I forgot about that song. What what what in the butt? Classic. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:24:21 Hold on for a second. What what in the butt. What in the butt was crazy, man. It is, um, Samuel. Yeah, but didn't, wait, didn't he have other songs? Yeah, Samwell doing his thing. I'm on Samuel. There are other, there are other songs that I feel like there's another song that
Starting point is 01:24:49 Samuel has. Samuel, Samuel doing this thing, man. Samuel, what, what in the butt is, was crazy. How many views do you think it has? I'm looking at it. I see it already. 75 million. What, what in the butt is crazy, man?
Starting point is 01:25:08 That was an era. Samwell walked so Lil Nas X could vibe. Yeah. So when we're talking about songs, here's a picture of Samwell with Johnny Depp. Samoa out here doing this thing, man. So when I think about songs that are specifically, that's the hierarchy right there.
Starting point is 01:25:29 That's what I'm talking about. you know, because titty's at the top and dick at the bottle. I said, watch, watch, in the butt. You want to do it in my butt. In my butt. You want to do it in my butt. In my butt.
Starting point is 01:25:41 You want to do it in my butt. In my butt. Let's do it in the butt. Okay. The video. You got to watch the video. You got to watch the video. You can sit it.
Starting point is 01:25:55 You can see it in the song. You know what? I like it. No, like, direct, straightforward. This is who I am. This is what I want. I'm not mad at any of this. Why would you be mad?
Starting point is 01:26:08 It's the same. Oh, well, you know some people get crazy. Well, some people are mad, but it's like, it's my neck, my back. It's throat baby. It's all of this stuff. Samwell is talking about in the butt. Yeah. Sochi Angel is talking about, tithes at the top and dick at the bottom.
Starting point is 01:26:23 Stop being, people are talking about. They talk about what they do. Right? They're talking about what they do. The only time people are upset about it is what they're, It's not hero. Get the fucking shit. It's like the teases at the top and dick at the bottom.
Starting point is 01:26:38 We got to go. Take us out with a little teases at the top and dick at the bottom, like we said before. Take things out of the top and dick at the bottom. I'm Van Lathen, Jr. I'm Rachel and Lindsay. Bye, guys.
