taking supplements, making you're better, getting closure,
then I would humbly recommend other podcasts.

Welcome to Decoding Women's Health.
I'm Dr. Elizabeth Pointer, chair of Women's Health and Gynecology at the Atria Health Institute in New York City.
I'll be talking to top researchers and clinicians and bringing vital information about midlife women's health directly to you.
A hundred percent of women go through menopause.
Even if it's natural, why should we suffer through it?

In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author,
Patra Mathers and her husband Michael, mailed letters to dozens of friends and family members
to let them know they had died by suicide.
Dear honies, this is goodbye.
By the time you get this letter, both Petra and I will be dead.
Next stop, Wonderland.
Why did they do it?
And what did it do to the people they left behind?

Hey, it's Bobby Bones. Join me and former NFL quarterback Matt Castle every Wednesday on our podcast.
Lots to say with me Bobby Bones and Matt Castle.
You're in training camp and the rookie quarterback has one good throwing session in front of the media.
Suddenly everybody online says he should start over you week one.
How do you handle this?
You just go back out to practice the next day and wait for him to mess up.
Listen to lots to say with Bobby Bones and Matt.
Castle on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I am, I'm just so grateful that you're here.
Thank you.
You're so funny.
I've seen you in so many things.
Carmi Central show was great.
Thank you.
Very sad what happened to Comedy Central, but nothing to do with.
It was my fault.
With it.
No, no, no, no.
It was a little implied.
No, no, no.
The timing was a little suss.
Then my show happened at the very end of their tenure.
So networks have things going on in their lives that we can never know.
We never know the struggle that a network is going through.
Yeah.
And so when a network takes its own life.
We cannot say like that was my fault.
That was me.
Well, I should have seen the signs.
No, no, no.
I could have been.
Especially in a network like that that's always laughing.
But you know, that's that.
Those are the ones.
That's how it happens.
Why would you ever think to say, hey.
Hey, comedy center, are you okay?
Are you okay?
Because you seem fine.
You seem great.
I'm not very good at reading the writing on the wall either.
I should have known when the snacks started getting removed from set.
I was like, oh, that's an interesting new take on like the hungry artist of it all,
which I do identify as.
Yeah.
And to put the snacks in a pit,
why, to like take the snacks and put them in a just a pit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
and say one of you's coming out fed, you know?
So it was for you, so you think it was to, oh, I see.
I didn't understand how that made sense just from a budgeting perspective or even just like
it was like some kind of coping mechanism.
Yeah.
But you seem to think that it was a trap for you.
Survival of the fittest.
It was to draw you and maybe one other.
But you play all the characters.
You play every single character.
Well, that's why I was such a mind.
You know, because I had to battle
versions of myself internally.
It's identity.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I came out a better person.
It's all.
Comedy single did not.
But I came out a better person.
Comedy Central did not.
Yeah.
Comedy Central did not.
But I love you Comedy Central, wherever you may be.
To come here at this moment, like to give your time.
Yeah.
To do this show at this moment is just incredibly gratitude for,
me. Yeah. I'm by myself. Oh, yeah. Speak on that. And for you to actually invite me to
do that, yeah. Is the most gratitude I've ever been. Well, you know, I've learned from my mistakes
with the aforementioned network and now I'm just here to listen and be present. That is.
It's so good because I want to talk the whole time.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This is a visual medium, correct?
I want to talk the entire time.
Through my facial expressions, you will be able to tell what story I'm trying to tell.
And Richie, you can turn his camera on.
If you want to turn his camera on, I think that would be great.
Oh, yeah, please.
We don't usually do that, but I think for this one, I think his can be on.
The story of the show right now.
It's so interesting.
Yeah.
So we have a, we've ads on the show.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We all have to.
One for the meal, one for the real, yeah.
Adverts.
Mm-hmm.
And this network does something called dynamic insertion.
Historically, we've done more called host reads.
Okay.
Where we get a little piece of paper and we look at the paper.
If we talk about the paper.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like Jiffy Loeb, if you need, you know, like if you're feeling a little.
And you say like, I went in there, didn't even have a car.
They just worked me up.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
And I was in and out of there in 90 seconds.
Complete.
Completely mathered.
In oil.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
And now, here they do something called dynamic insertion.
Mm-hmm.
which is where they take dynamite, real dynamite.
Oh, okay.
And they sort of blow it up next to the hard drive where the episode is,
and that puts big holes in the episode.
And they put the ad in the hole.
I see.
And that's the insertion part.
You see, okay, kind of like the pit where the snacks were.
It's just like that pit.
Yes, it's exactly like that pit.
connected those two thought beautiful.
I did connect those.
You landed that plane.
It was me that connected those ideas.
You're right.
Incredibly.
Wow.
And it adds for like, join this country's army, join this.
Oh, of course.
Countries like Royal Guard, whatever.
Yeah.
My lifelong dream to join a Royal Guard.
Royal Guard.
But just be the guy that's like standing there while people try to break me, you know?
Yes.
Like, they're like, lo, lo, lo, lo, you know?
laugh.
Yeah.
Because that will break easily.
Yes.
Which I find more entertaining
that the guys to just stand there.
You go viral.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Again.
The snickering guard.
Yeah.
The sheepish giggly guard.
Yeah.
The giggly guard.
Yeah.
The queen, no, now the king's giggly guard.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This is, we mostly do it for,
I mean, like, you know, the ads that we get are mostly for the sultan.
Ah, his royal highness.
The Sultan needs, obviously, to be guarded.
Not just physically, but emotionally.
Yes, there's a lot of that.
Who can he speak to when, you know, you're at the top of that hill?
Yes, yes.
And I do have it in my back pocket many nonspecific accents that make people feel.
Non-specific would be great because people come in here and do really specific ones.
That's very 90s.
And I'm glad that's over with.
The generic ones.
It's our time now.
Oh, my God.
Whoa.
We can't hear you.
We can't hear you, Sean.
But he did do a shush.
He did do a shushy.
Be quiet.
Here, let's put our headphones on.
What you got there, Sean?
Hey, bud.
Oh, we still can't hear him.
We can't hear him.
Oh, that's better.
We can hear.
Oh, there you go.
Okay, something went on.
I guys.
It's Sean.
Hey, Sean.
I've got to be kind of quiet because I'm on a plane.
How's the show going?
How's the episode going?
It's going well.
We haven't really gotten into the premise yet.
Okay, great.
And I don't even know if I know what that is.
Do you want to run it by me and I'll see if I have any ideas for it?
Do you want to be here for that or do you want to,
do you want to wait until you're gone to do the premise or like, what do you think?
Yeah, any notes right out of the time?
I'd love to just hear the preface.
We were talking about I-Hard.
I was talking about how they dynamically insert ads in our show now.
And something that happened this past week as Kevin went like into the back end.
And then he checked our stats for the for the episode.
And Kevin saw that they had changed the number of ads that they dynamically insert.
into each
into each of a hole
that they make
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let me stop you, hey,
can I stop you?
Yeah, yeah.
I love this premise.
This feels really funny.
This is not organic.
This is not actually the premise,
but if you want to go.
I had just said,
no,
I had just said I wanted to hear the premise
see if it sounded funny.
This sounds really funny to me.
Yeah.
I don't think this can be the premise.
Oh, okay, okay.
But if you want to be here for this,
look at, look at that.
Oh, my goodness.
It looks so beautiful there.
Beautiful.
Who are you sitting next to?
Yeah, introduce them.
Just a lovely couple.
I don't know if they want to talk to this show, you know.
We'll tell them that Arturo Castro's here.
Maybe they know some of my work?
From Matchbox?
Yeah, yeah.
Let me do.
I'm a little shy, but let me just do this.
And you're Turro Castro fans?
Whoa.
Is that the pilot coming in behind?
Oh, my God.
I've never seen it.
You got any tour Castro fans?
Oh, wow.
They're not, they put them to say.
So respectfully.
They're not taking the bait.
And I think what's going on is I'm in a shy row.
It's also an exit row, so I may get interrupted to ask if I'm, like, physically able to help.
I have a question.
Were they asleep before you said Arturo Castro or was a mere mentioned of my name enough?
Because, like, one lady looks fully passed out on her seat.
She looks like she might be in trouble.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Um, no, it was the name itself.
Yeah.
Prior to that, she had been pretty lively just to, you know, be transparent about this.
I mean, to get to be up in the sky.
It's my last name, guys.
A lot of people still.
She may have fainted.
Yeah.
Still associated with Fidel.
Because it's a steamy.
And I get it.
And that makes people faint.
That makes people faint.
His testosterone was such that, and his mark on history.
They swoon.
Yeah.
By the way, Arturo, and the cigar smoke.
And the cigar smoke.
So yeah, he was hazardous for health all around.
They're smelling that.
Every time you say Castro three times.
Smell is the sense most closely related to memory.
And I think that like just hearing that name, it really just evokes a lot.
Evokes a lot.
It makes them go to bed.
Brave of you.
Thank you for keeping my family name alive that way, brother.
You know, he was a misunderstood man.
Very misunderstood.
But boy, were you a fan?
Oh, no, you were.
Yeah.
Oh, I thought somebody was a fan.
Somebody was coming back to say that they were not a fan.
Specifically.
Wow.
Interesting day.
He did ask if there were any fans there.
Again, I do feel that this is communism related.
Just someone coming back from 10 rows up.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Excuse me.
Couldn't help but here back here.
Some of the stuff plays with me.
Some of it doesn't.
And then leaves.
That was nice of them to give such a.
To have tried so much of it.
They seem really cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And they didn't say what stuff.
played or
they didn't say
what they liked
or what they liked?
Yeah, what they liked.
This could be an
early stuff.
Oh.
That played
He liked his early stuff.
I see.
Yeah.
Broad City maybe.
Would you call that early?
I mean like,
I mean,
that's,
well,
it doesn't get much
of us.
It doesn't get much
earlier than that.
Right.
Right.
You know.
I mean,
unless you saw
when I was a host of,
uh,
that's why they call it B.C.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Before Castro.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, you see.
So, yeah, when I was a, I was like the, no, I was like the Carson Daily of Guatemala.
So I had a, I used to host a TRL type show in Guatemala.
So that was, that was definitely BC.
And very useful for putting people to sleep because it's on at so far past bedtime.
It was a 4 a.m.er.
It was a 4 a.m. and it was live.
So not a lot of people were requesting music.
They were making other requests.
Like, how do I get down?
You know, I'm too high up.
And I'm like, I don't, what is it?
Oh, is that, can you take me higher by creed?
Is that what you're looking for?
And they're like, literally the opposite of that.
Can you get me not changing me lower?
Can you take me lower?
I don't even know what Creed saying that, but at the time, you know, it was Spanish.
It was Spanish.
At the time it was Spanish.
So I'm like, my point is you about higher.
And I'm like, who is?
You know, I wasn't very good at picking the songs, but I helped a lot of people, I think.
BC.
So thank that person for liking my early work of Guatemala on TRL.
They're gone.
I mean, I'm not going to go find them now.
And they're not.
They came to find you.
I'm in the window.
And once in the woman's past like swooned still.
So you can't.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Well.
Yep.
Yep.
Still there.
Really.
Yeah, it's public.
Like, you're in a public place on a plane.
You should expect to be on a video podcast.
I know I always come camera ready whenever I travel.
It's like, it's the law.
You can put strangers on a plane on a video podcast, and they have to be on it.
There's like this fine print.
A lot of other videos start this way.
So many.
Yeah.
So many.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Kevin goes into the
But the premise
Kevin goes into the back end
He sees that they have changed the number of ads to 19 per hole
Yeah
And he thinks that maybe that's a mistake or something
That's like more than we've normally done
And so he takes it down to 14
Let's experiment with like 14 ads
Yeah yeah
Per each hole in the episode
Yeah yeah
And he gets
That's an email.
And there's a lot of holes in the episode, Arturo.
We talked about that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We talked about that.
I was forewarned.
Yeah, how they use real dynamite and they blow so many big holes in the episode.
And that was one just now, yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Oh, no, that wasn't one.
Just I thought I felt that.
It's usually, it's not in a pause, usually that they put the hole.
Oh, they're just mid-sentence.
They just pick the perfect moment in the middle of a word to put a big hole in there.
If we have a momentum going at all, that's right.
That's where we're in.
So he gets an email immediately after he changed his number from 19 to 14.
And it just says seven days.
And it's in an ancient font.
Papyrus, papyrus?
It's even more ancient than papyrus.
Oh, old times Roman.
It's in English.
Because Kevin can read it, he could barely read that.
So it's probably not Old Times Roman.
But it was Curry or old.
Because Times New Roman would be too new.
I understand.
Wow.
So seven days.
What I did Arturo is I took your joke and I changed it a little bit.
Oh, I couldn't hear you because I remember my deaf side.
But tell me again.
You had said Times Old Roman and I said, oh, I can think of a, I can think of a, I can think of
We're new in it and I can make it old.
Oh, you take.
And then A's almost required to support my version.
Oh, I'm sorry I missed that the first time.
It's newer.
It's fresher.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
What a great, like, yes, Andy, we're doing here.
No, no, no, no.
This is how we build the show.
The rapport.
So we reach out to, or Kevin reaches out to Jack O'Brien, who's like our boss here.
And it was like, hey, I just got this email that said like seven days.
like what is that about and Jackson responds like oh I've never I don't know what you're
talking about I've never seen an email like that before and his email is also in that same
I think he like maybe forgot to change it back so it's like I do think it probably was the email is
coming from inside the house I think it probably was from him but the I mean the upshot of it is we have
seven more days now two more days actually because like Kevin kind of
It takes a long time to like pass stuff through to us.
To live or to have the podcast?
To be alive.
Ah, okay.
Yes.
Well, not to live, really.
To be alive.
I wouldn't say we're living.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, to exist.
But we are alive.
Oh, that would explain the flight.
Are you going to settle your affairs with your family?
Yeah.
That would not explain the flight.
That is not the premise.
I just want to make clear.
Okay.
Okay.
The prep, like.
Yeah, I was curious.
I don't want to jump the gun like last time.
premise is no no no this is not even close to the premise
whoa we're nowhere near it
and so you know we say to jack
like hey like what can we do like is there anything
yeah yeah yeah and he implied that if we invent a new monster
for Halloween that maybe we could figure something out
the drink
not the drink
I am loving the specificity
which would be easy
he said not the drink yeah
yeah oh not the drink like
that'd be too easy
because you'd be like
just a new flavor
maybe bang
that's his business
a bang monster collab
you know
that's another energy
oh yes yes
Monster bang
yeah monster bang
monster bang
Monster horchata
Monster chata
Monster chata
Monster chata
It's giving Nick Wagger a song idea.
Yeah.
See, this is the type of song I should have played it for.
I'm not familiar with his new work.
It's fine.
That's fine.
Not familiar with his new work.
He doesn't have any.
Oh, okay.
Well.
He did, he found something and he stuck with it.
Oh, good.
You know what I mean?
But it's old.
It's very old.
And do you think Monster Chata would be up his alley?
It has no use for it at this point.
Oh, okay.
I understand.
He does what he does.
But Jacko Lantern does.
So Jacko Lantern does have, he, and that's very interesting, it's a very interesting clue that I did not realize that he has actually kind of like a Halloween creature himself.
Why else would he want?
Did he want an announcement?
A monster bang.
No, what was it?
So there's a power outage at the terminal and they're unable to pull the jet bridge.
So they're going to let us know how long the delay will be, but we've made deep plane.
Again, it's hard not to feel responsible for this, much like with the aforementioned comedy center thing.
Prior to me shouting Castro on the plane, it was working really well.
It seemed like you were about to taxi off.
And then if it's me reading the signs, pulling the power.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The terminal swoon.
They were pulling the bridge in and out, like.
And then somebody heard the name of my ancestor, Didell, and everything.
I would like to apologize to you and to your fellow passengers.
If you could put me on speaker, I would like to do it directly to them.
What are they saying that?
Are they trying to contribute to the show?
Well, now is more of an automation.
So I didn't think you guys would want to hear that.
But I guess it's being drowned out.
AT&T is providing free Wi-Fi for Advantage member.
I'm not an advantage member.
Maybe you could help me with that.
Maybe Jack Bryan can help me with that.
I mean, listen, I know a guy who can help you with AT&T stuff.
You do?
Oh, yeah.
Mr. Castro himself, I happen to be...
It's you?
Yes, sir.
Actually, if you do get on the Wi-Fi, the first face you will see is mine.
They're asking if I can help when he's an emergency.
Anyway, I am a hard to speak about this.
You're not having questions of obesity.
Otherwise, just hate to you for the access.
I don't know.
See what I'm going to.
Oh, wow.
This is the most dramatic plane.
I am willing to help you on.
Thank you.
Right?
How are you willing to help?
They bought it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Thank goodness.
Yeah, great.
Yeah, you're not willing to help.
I can tell right now.
Yeah, you're going to pretend to be a...
But what are they going to do?
You said you were.
You clearly were not.
I've just realized how big of an honor system this shit is.
They're just like, hey, you guys good?
And they're like, yeah.
Like, who says actually?
I've never seen one person go, actually, I wouldn't trust me with anything related.
Can I tell you something?
Yeah.
Artero?
Yeah.
They did, that did happen on the way in.
There was a woman who was in an exit row.
And she did not understand.
She did not understand the question, and they had to re-ask, like, three times.
And then they finally pulled it to the side, and I heard them go, like, we're just going to put her in a different seat.
Whoa.
Never before have I heard that.
Yeah, wow.
Here we go.
I'm sure they called ahead and being like, hey, this has never happened.
What do I do with this lady?
You know, like, three people had to come.
Like, I don't know, this is the first time somebody said, no.
They had to unseat them.
They had checked her in.
They had to unseat her.
Wow.
Wow.
And her husband who did answer.
Have you guys ever been on a plane with something really wacky happens before?
Have you guys ever besides that?
Never?
Well, I'm always on, so I'm being funny.
I am.
Yeah.
Thank you.
And I've been on planes with him.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel that.
Yeah, I would love to travel with you guys if that's ever an opportunity.
Yes.
Like, do you want to go to Vancouver?
We're probably find a role for you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do love, I do love that rainy, rainy Canadian city very much.
I shot a movie called Tehran there.
Tehran, Toronto, T-Rond, yes.
Yeah, Tehran there.
T-Rex's his brother.
Yeah, T-Rex his uncle.
T-Rond.
And I spent like four months there, and I got to tell you.
Canadians, not a lot of people know this.
Really nice people.
You could tell that that was Vancouver because of the glowing bikes.
That they were riding those like kind of Canadian glowing bikes around.
And wearing those little like Canadian helmets.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And speaking like, you know, Canadian like, he's doing it.
You can hear Sean doing it.
He's only been there a few weeks.
And you can hear him talking of that sort of like Tehran style robotic way.
Yeah.
It is catchy, isn't it?
Do you think, is it, okay, I'm trying to, like, synthesize this.
We can get, like, multiple bites of the apple.
We need to make a new monster for Halloween.
He needs a role for his show.
Which, you know.
How about the T-Ron T-Rex?
No.
I'm gonna pass.
Okay, well, let's.
It's only the first idea.
It was the first one for me, too.
That was her first draft.
I know we're already not doing it.
to pass on my end as well.
So that's two passes.
Okay, okay.
Okay.
Well, first drafts.
You know, it's first draft.
Yes.
I thought we're a blue sky.
But let's get rid of the ideas we don't like right away.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I thought we were blue sky in this.
I did too.
I did too.
But that was actually something that we had just said.
That so to me, like, blue sky is like,
we need to come up with something that we have,
that we did just say a second ago.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
We have...
So, Arturo, if I went right now,
how about the second-ago monitor?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, how about the just say a second-ago monster?
You'd probably be like, no, you're not really helping, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I'm Cameron Dicker, the kicker from the Los Angeles Chargers,
most accurate kicker in NFL history,
but I was raised on the soccer pitches of Shanghai.
And I'm here with Timmy Tillman, LAFC star,
grew up in the academies of Germany
and now under the bright lights of Major League Soccer.
So, we know a little something about kicking balls.
Maybe you're new to the game,
or you're ready to take your passion to the next level.
Each week we'll tackle things like,
who's winning the Premier League this year?
Playing like a number 10.
Do you know what that means?
Then we go over to France,
League one.
League on?
He knows more.
He's better than me.
What do you think is harder?
Scoring a penalty kick or scoring a field goal?
He's in the NFL and I'm like, just a big fact.
I do enough.
That's crazy.
Join us each week for a quick chat with your soccer-loving bros about the best sport in the world.
Soccer.
Just don't tell my coaches I said that.

On Big Lives, we take a single cultural icon.
People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Richard Pryor.
And we pull apart the story behind the image.
And we do this by digging through the BBC's vast archive.
We're talking iconic moments in broadcast history.
I'm not just a boxer. I'm educating.
I can talk all week on millions of subjects.
And forgotten interviews that change how we see these giants of our culture.
Well, if changing the system from the ground up is revolutionary, then I'm revolutionary.
We're here for the messy, the best of the.
Brilliant, the human version of our heroes.
I mean, when I go on stage, I like to dress as slutty as possible
because it makes me dance better for some reason.
I'm Emmanuel Jochi.
I'm Kai Wright.
And this is Big Lives.

Is there anything that, like, hasn't, I was trying to think, like, skin stuff, right?
We did.
Hairy.
There's so many guys that have, like, hairy skin.
did scaly already.
Is there a new kind of skin?
Like
I was thinking like cobble stones
or something. Exama boy. I was going to say rocks.
I was my hand. Rocks.
Yeah.
Exima boy.
Has there been a Stonehenge
monster?
And is that the monster is
Stonehenge or like what is
Stonehenge? We finally know what
it is. It's a monster.
You've been wondering what it is. It's a monster.
The entire thing is a
monster will one part would be the arms one part would be the legs oh so it's a
dormant obviously the yeah other stuff well what sorry i'm english is not my first
language what's other stuff what do you mean by other stuff oh oh you got stuff just got
stuff just call a plane or sorry parts we don't always talk about um planes
you see i think it would be helpful for this session of like
blue skying it. If you just kind of yelled
it out. But cheeks. I see. Yeah, okay, so
I see the stones and butt cheeks. Nice. Thank you.
That's going to be a note for me.
You're going to pass. If I'm just
being honest, and it's not retaliatory in any way,
don't like a butt cheek
Stonehenge monster. You're going to pass on a
stonehenge monster where
one of the rocks is the butt sheet.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Because the logic would be like two of the rocks together would have to be.
There's just a lot.
I have more questions that I have answers.
Yes.
It's hard to picture.
Yeah.
It's hard to picture.
And we do have to draw it as well.
Yeah.
But no bad ideas and thank you for submission.
Thank you.
Wow, they're real chatty.
Kathy's over the intercom over there.
Yeah, hey, stay in your seats.
Stay in your seats.
Like, I think it's a.
is white.
Yeah, something about Miles.
I didn't get all that.
Did you get all that?
No.
Okay.
What's a new monster?
The newest monster we have,
we actually got a new monster a few years ago.
Incredible to be alive for this moment,
where we got a new monster.
His name is Slender Man.
Oh, yeah.
We got a brand new monster.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Who's famous.
Famous one.
And what's interesting about him is
he is just kind of like a guy,
and he wears a suit
that I
and he like
shoots people with a gun
and
like it's like taking the people that we know
from the world
and
changing them is interesting
we make them slender
yeah right
themes of body
image here
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
The body.
Survivalist in the wood.
A little heightest.
Yes.
It's a little heightest.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a little heightest, isn't it?
Like tall skinny people must have felt really.
Yes, they have to hide.
You look down to really short monster.
Yeah.
Tiny very small.
A short, a short wide monster.
Yes.
A stubby man.
Stubby man.
Stubby man.
Stubby man.
Yes.
Stubby man.
Who wears a bathing suit.
Hmm.
Hmm.
You don't like the bathing suit?
You see, the image it conjures up.
Okay.
Is very graphic.
Oh, it is?
I will say it is easy to picture.
It is easy to picture a short, stubby man in a bathing suit.
So I will give place.
Well, I assumed we were going for body positivity by even responding to slender man at all.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, I mean, I know you don't want to see what's inside the bathing suit.
I didn't say it disgusted me.
I said it was a graphic image.
And by graphic, I meant that just so I can visualize it.
What kind of bathing suit are you picturing?
A tiny, tiny bathing suit.
Oh, okay.
I was in a billabong, almost like board shorts, but with a mesh lining.
Long board shorts.
Long board shorts to the calf.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, that changes things dramatically.
You're picturing a little tiny one.
Tiniest, tiniest of, like,
like most sort of clingy material,
which, you know, it has nothing to do with this body type.
It just personally, I don't like the European type speedo tinniness
that I can see outlines of stuff.
So I apologize for bringing my own preconceptions to the concept.
Now they were talking board shorts, stub man, you know, is a man.
Stubby man is a man.
He wears a bathing suit.
It's not scary.
It's not very Halloween.
And it's also not a monster.
That's the only issue that I'm like kind of seeing with this now.
It is just kind of a little guy wearing a bathing suit.
Just got a good announcement over here.
What happened?
You're moving?
Oh, you said woo?
Yeah, well, because people started clapping because the pilot came on made a pretty good joke.
What was it?
he said hey
apparent
uh-oh
new announcement
this is
really high drama
and I'm really loving it
I didn't know
some you can hear
well so much
some you can hear it all
I had so I had
two things that
one is he said
so apparently somebody's going to run
to Home Depot and get a generator
so that we can get this
bridge working
then he went
no I'm just kidding
oh that's good
then he was
is they're figuring it out right now.
It should be about 20 minutes.
Then another announcement came on when I started to talk and she went,
for those of me with empty seats next to you, don't get too comfortable.
Wow.
What a thinly veil threat.
I was going to say, it's not very comfort.
I'm going to come sit with you.
I'm sitting with you.
Yeah.
I'm going to sit in every empty seat on the plane is what she's like.
Musical chairs.
She's going to play musical chairs with empty seats.
I also love that they like good cop, bad copped the entire plane.
You know, be like, here's a like little laugh moment.
And everybody else is like, but wait.
This is the effect he has.
Yeah.
I'm telling you, the plane becomes so wacky when he's on there.
It's so crazy when I'm on here.
He's got to get out of here with me.
Oh, I bet.
The moment you went, woo, I was like, that's a different plane experience.
What did they ask?
What podcast are you doing?
What podcast am I doing, yeah.
Yeah.
Tour of Castor.
Okay.
And what did they say that you said thank you to?
They said what podcast you didn't?
They asked who the guest was and then I got through most of the name and then they said,
never mind.
But we heard you say thank you.
I don't say thank you to never mind.
So maybe it wasn't the last name after all.
No, no.
Maybe it was the way you said thank you.
Well, actually.
Thank you.
You know, like I did see a little.
They did say as they were moving by normally I love the show.
So that's worth saying thank you too.
I see, I see, I see.
And then they came back.
And then you had a chance to tell her who it was on.
But not this one.
I see.
Oh, she's right there.
But you know what?
We saw this coming because she did say, if you have an MTC next to you, don't get too comfortable.
Is this the same person?
Is this the flight attendant?
I can't tell any of these people apart.
Can I be honest?
Yeah, let's be honest.
Kind of plain people, what you're saying.
When I'm on a plane, the old plane people.
It's just like these are plain people.
You may as well spell it PLA.
PLIN.
Plain.
That's a great joke.
Yeah, it's right there.
Yeah.
What else about the premise?
So monsters.
Oh, we're done.
Is there any in Matchbox?
This is a movie.
This is like, that's a big movie.
Man, I was having so much fun.
I forgot what we were here for.
John Dinner.
was in it, yes.
John Dinner.
Hey, very nice.
Very nice.
Spanish reference.
Thank you.
Well done.
Well done.
Yes, John Sena is in this movie.
There is a lot of action.
A lot of heart.
Can I say it?
A lot of heart.
Kevin Hart is in it as well?
Hyginks.
He, unfortunately, but not unfortunately because then I got his role.
My God.
I'm so sorry.
I really would have thought, would have heard that.
Yeah, yeah.
I thought I would have heard if Kevin Hart had passed.
It's a pretty big star.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
Yeah, they said, who can we get, if not Kevin Hart?
I raised my hand.
And the next thing I know, I'm in Budapest.
Oh, my God.
You really were there.
If you say it like that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I just want you to know.
Signal that they actually did.
Budapest, not Budapest, no.
Okay, it's not a pest that we're trying to get rid of.
It's a pesh.
Yeah, yeah.
No, no, no.
Seminole movie.
What am I watching a Leguizama movie?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm going to boo to pest.
Boot a pest.
That's right.
I'm getting some big coughs behind me.
Should I put a mask on?
I think he's just freeball it, dude.
Just double it.
Anyway, I mean, that's the new monster, isn't it?
The new monster.
This is the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.
I mean, is that the monster?
I mean, it's got us high.
in our homes like the last house.
It's exactly like the last house.
The last house.
And the quiet place.
It was very quiet place.
Cover your mouth.
Yeah, yeah.
Except at 8 p.m. when you should ban your pots or 7 p.m.
to make a lot of noise.
So it was very restrictive on when the noise was happening.
But confusing.
It's confusing time.
You know what?
Maybe stubby man is holding like a little hypodermic needle or something.
Or an aerosol, right?
To inject us.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Stubby man is giving us the vaccine.
Is that what you're saying?
And you're saying that he's giving an aerosolized vaccine?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, I thought that he's giving you COVID.
What I liked was that it could be either.
It could be either.
I like that it could be either.
Yeah.
Both camps can come see.
Both camps can come see.
I see.
I don't want this monster to be politically divisive.
I don't think that's going to help us.
You know what I'd heard that about you?
But like witnessing in person, what a great uniter you are is, wow.
To get the camps together, finally.
Not a lot of people can these days.
No, they cannot.
No, they cannot.
This man on the emergency row, he's got you in an emergency.
And if you don't know which camp to be.
I'm reaching across the aisle from the window seat.
Oh.
I'm like Sunderbant.
Oh, yeah.
Got that long arms.
I'm messing around.
People are like, people who, I don't know if you can see people are croaking up over here.
People are, yeah, there's definitely commotion.
He's winning the room back.
Ah, yeah.
Who's the movie about Matchbox?
Yeah.
It's about a car.
It's about the friends we made along the way.
Is it a car small?
Along the way to what?
Because usually we say that after like.
No, no, no.
Oh.
You start, that's the, how this movie starts.
It starts along the way.
You know how you start sometimes with the end in movies where you're like,
you're probably wondering how I got here, you know?
Yes, yes.
That's what we do.
And in the end, the power of friendship saved us.
And then the movie happens.
And then the movie happens?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The movie, the cars aren't small in this, but it's about a group of friends that used to play
with the small cars.
Okay.
that now go on this multi-country super spy adventure.
It's tag.
It's tag.
The movie tags?
That's what it is.
It's a semi-tag.
Well, I'm sure it takes notes from that.
Because that already is a movie.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I wouldn't mind having another one.
Adult group of friends used to play a game as a kid.
Now they're doing it in a much, you know, higher stake adult world.
I hadn't seen the similarities until this moment.
And you know, my friend.
directed tag and I didn't realize how much from him I took Jeff Tompick and I'm sorry if I
plagiarized anything Jeff but this movie uh maybe it's an amage to tag too yeah yeah
yeah Tomsick Tomsick hey Tomsick Florida man yeah anyone check out Florida man yeah well that was a
fucking trip holy smoke what do you know well Sam Richards did you watch it a little yeah
Sam Richardson was in an episode of
Florida Amanda. He's a very funny person and he's in matchbox as well.
Yeah, we know Sam too. You know.
Mm-hmm.
Breaking news. You know a lot of people. Sam's funny.
You know a lot of people. This is why we get you.
Hyping up Sam Richardson.
Like he needs it.
Finally, someone willing to go out on a limb and say Sam's funny.
I'm willing to put my career on the line and say Sam is really funny.
And John, he's really buff.
You know? Not a lot of people talk about his.
And so you are saying.
What I'm hearing is that Sam is not buff.
And that John is not funny.
I see where you're going.
Wow.
That's where you went.
Listen.
You went there.
I'm not controversial.
Yeah.
I thought, you know what?
The episode's actually becoming good.
Yeah, I thought, you know what?
We don't have enough of the plain content.
And I said, let's throw controversy out there.
And the cars are not small, you said?
not by the time we drive them
they get big
by the time you drive them
they become big are you small
in the movie
I it is a
you see we we thought
we were going to go what was that
mad damon film called
the Matt Damon film was called
shrinking private Ryan
yeah
yeah that's
that's it
I have
in criteria.
Honey, I shrunk the zoo owner.
I shrug the zoo owner.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I remember that one.
So this, you notice,
you change it just a little bit.
Just the tiniest bit.
And then the whole premise changes.
But the cars are not.
It's really,
I don't know if you guys play much,
when you were a kid, but it was really incredible.
I thought I did.
I thought I did, but now you're telling me they weren't small.
And that I wasn't small.
You've been big the whole time.
It's Mendelhoeffig.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bernstein Bears?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Luke, I am your father.
Ernst.
Mm-hmm.
Anyway, so we, as friends go on this adventure that,
Eventually we get to drive big versions of the cars that we used to play with as a kid, which were small.
So it's two different cars.
And did they let you honk the horn?
Oh, yeah.
That was a big part of my contract.
That you were allowed to honk the horn?
Sound department hates to see me coming.
I mean, seeing stuff in general.
I'm not embarrassing. Excuse me.
parents to amares observation that's different from the spelling one that everyone talks about okay
so the you know there's a ton of these books and the kids like go to school and so like you know there'll be a
new girl in school name like Susie McGrizzle or whatever yeah or like yeah like these will be the
names okay but the brother and sister bear are the names of the two
main bears and then like mama and papa bear and their name is sister bear like at school
but everyone else i mean somebody will be named like too tall or whatever so i guess it's still like
a label of sorts but everyone else really has like names and then their names are brother and sister
talk about main character syndrome totally totally their names their name is actually sister and
bear and there's other and then they have it there's so
many other bears in the book. What do you think the baby's name is? What do you think the baby's name is?
Probably Uncle Bear. Yeah. Yeah, Uncle Bear is honey. Its name is what? Honey. Honey. No way.
Mama, Papa, brother, sister, and the baby, honey. They named the baby what they like to eat?
Yeah. Whoa. And then there's one where brother talks about like how we got in trouble ones for
eating honey in bed and you're like you can't do this.
Mm.
Mm.
Mm.
Maybe that's a real monster.
Oh, that would be a good way to accomplish the premise.
If we could.
Let's see if we can.
You're saying the real monster is brother bear.
Brother bear for eating his brother.
Eating his brother.
Sister.
Sister.
sister sister the babies nice of you to assume that all babies are men yeah well i never read this book
circle back to maybe arturo be in the monster it's like the movie children are men yeah yeah yeah yeah
but that was like a sci-fi price yeah yeah yeah by quorone that all children are men so good
amazing the movie the movie is a cartooning future the movie is a cartoon
Toom?
Children or men?
This movie?
The children or men movie?
Yeah, well, there was an animation aspect to it.
Smashbox?
Smashbox?
Smashbox?
Yeah, no, it's a live action.
You get to see us all.
Yeah.
I wish I could see it.
I will be dead in two days.
If you don't find a monster name.
When does it come out?
October 9th on Apple TV.
You'll be dead by then?
Will you be dead by then?
I won't say October 9th.
Put me down when September 9th.
