This is the Home Tech Podcast for Friday, July 12th from Denver, Colorado. I'm Jason Griffin.
And from Sarasota, Florida, I'm Seth Johnson. Jason, what's going on?
Burning the midnight oil tonight here.
Technically, it's Wednesday.
Technically, it is. So we're on our normal day
yeah i appreciate you being flexible we're recording here on a on an off night i had some
plans come up tomorrow wednesday night and we typically record so just you and me tonight seth
i don't see anyone hanging out in the chat room it's midnight eastern as we record this. So I guess no real night owls like you in the audience.
No, I have a couple more hours yet.
I have a couple more hours to put in.
You're a beast.
Get some work done.
I am dead to the world by that time.
Yeah, I don't know.
I find that the later I stay up, the more solid sleep I get.
And then I wake up in the morning.
But if I go to sleep at like 9, I'm dead the next day i don't know how interesting that works yeah all right well
different strokes for different folks i suppose yep yep all right well what do you say we uh jump
into some home tech headlines let's do it so jason great news for us at the podcast huge news
huge news breaking here we got the scoop on home tech this week i've reading
german german home automation blogs ikea has renamed its ikea trod free smart home brand
to ikea home smart the brand renaming was sealed away inside of an app update and the ikea trod
free brand became known primarily for its low-cost smart lighting solutions.
Although the name Trodfree is no longer used as like the higher level brand, it remains the product name.
So when you go to IKEA, it'll still have the weird Trodfree name on it.
But overall, it's going to be called something much easier for us on the podcast to say.
For us Americans to pronounce.
To stumble over.
And yeah, it's going to be cut.
Well, you know, I'm still going to get it wrong.
I'm still going to call it IKEA smart home
instead of home smart, but you know, whatever, whatever.
At least I'll be mispronouncing American English at that point.
Yeah, that's right.
That's right.
And like you said, this came from a German website
is where we ended up finding this through a long and winding investigative journey that we won't itemize here.
It says, one thing is clear, the new brand name should be easier to write for the German user community in any case.
They don't mention American podcasters, but we appreciate it as well. And the big question in my mind is now, what becomes of Furtur and Kodrilj?
Kodrilji?
The smart blinds?
I don't know.
They'll call them IKEA.
Smart blinds?
Blind smarts.
Going by.
There you go.
One can hope.
One can hope.
Or one could just go learn how to, you know,
pronounce things correctly.
One could do that, yes. But, you you know america what are you gonna do that's right america what uh one cool thing is
is there is a uh the the symphonist sonos ikea collaboration speaker is now shipping uh in a few
ikea polish stores over in Poland.
And there's been a couple of people get their hands on them
and do some unboxing,
which we'll link to an unboxing video in the show notes.
But it's kind of a funny unboxing.
You know, they go through and they open up the box
and they pull up the instructions.
They're like, let's flip through the instructions.
And page one basically has the power hand,
the magic ikea hand
plugging the power cable into the back of the thing and then you flip it over the page two and
there's notes coming out of it it's just that easy step one turn it on step two enjoy it's
significantly fewer screws and things to lose uh there you go this this product so I think I'm going to have to get one of these because the little Symphonic
disc
bookshelf thing, I think that's
going to be fairly low cost. It's not going to be like
the fancy lamp that they have.
I have a full Sonos system in the
house. If this integrates
directly with Sonos and works out well, I can
just put something out here in the garage that's
low cost and I don't have to worry about it.
There you go. It'd be kind of nice to have yeah yeah all right cool well moving on here proof
emerged this week that google and amazon have truly buried the hatchet prime video is finally
available on chromecast devices the two tech giants ended their streaming video spat in april
paving the way for their services to become available on each other's hardware devices you'll be able to download the app from the google play store or by clicking on the app
icon in your tv's home screen prime videos availability on google's devices is just half
the story though the companies have also restored fire tv's access to youtube so great news the two-year struggle is over right whatever yeah started back in 2017
yeah these companies are weird and do they're gonna have these little small turf wars over the
next few years and this one i can't no one loses no one loses but the consumer exactly that yeah
exactly it's a bummer i can't see that i noticed that a fire tv
didn't have youtube because i've never owned a fire tv um so it's that's interesting um but it's
good to see that tells me that that you're not going to change i haven't heard i haven't heard
anything good about i i really have not heard anything good about a fire tv like literally
to a point that everyone that i've known
that has owned one has just swapped it out for something else uh either put a chromecast in or a
roku in in its place so i i i think it's good that amazon offers that device and and certainly since
they are one of the main you know streaming companies out there it's it's good that they
have their own and they can roll it around the uh my fire tv experience is at my in-laws place and i i enjoyed it but you have to you
have to know that like they put it in the room that we stay in and what they had in there before
was just like over the air and nothing else so the bar was set pretty low the bar is low right
fire tv is amazing when all you had before was you know
over the air in an unfamiliar right and it's it's one of those things that uh that like you can you
can live with for a couple of days right like yeah oh totally it was fine yeah it got the job done
exactly low cost camera manufacturer wise we talk about them a lot on the show is slow but surely
catching up to larger smart security camera makers.
Today, the Seattle-based startup has added an integral feature to its product lineup, people detection.
Using artificial intelligence software from neighboring company, oh great, Xnor.ai.
Xnor.
You got the fun one this week.
Xnor.
Xnor.
Xnor.
.ai, yeah, Xnor.ai, I, Xnor.ai.
I don't know.
Interesting.
Wyze says that it's now capable of identifying people through the video feed of its existing cameras,
which will gain the availability through an over-the-air firmware update.
Pretty nice.
Pretty nice.
Yeah, no, it's a nice upgrade.
The feature says it is available today.
So when the story was written, it's available now for the wise cam v2 and the wise cam pan which retail for the insanely low prices of twenty
dollars and thirty dollars respectively so good news for wise users and yet another compelling
feature coming from a company that i still cannot figure out one One more quick thing on Wyze.
I saw that Chow Main,
they sponsored our Home Tech Happy Hour last year.
They have released a Wyze Cam driver
for both the Wyze Cam V2 and Wyze Cam Pan.
But it takes a custom firmware update
that you have to do,
which I guess a lot of people do
to enable the RSTP
integration. So you put that firmware on and you use the Xiaomi drivers for, I think it was just
for Control 4, but somebody's out there integrating with these things too. So Robert and I were kind
of going back and forth and humorously in the hub talking about it. And he mentioned a pretty good
use case for this. He could say,
you know, for $20, I can put this in my garage and have a visual confirmation that my garage door is
shut. And that's a pretty good point. I didn't really think about.
Yeah, there you go. You know, another one, if your use case is there, it could be
on the support side. $20, $30, you pop one of these in the rack room.
And if you ever need to troubleshoot with the client,
you've got sort of eyes on the rack
and you can kind of walk them through.
I don't know, for 20, 30 bucks, it's like, yeah,
those sorts of possibilities really do start to open up.
Right, if it breaks, nobody really complains, right?
Yeah, exactly.
So I don't know, I'm just still scratching my head over them,
but they continue to develop and come out with new stuff. So, you know, great. It's definitely an interesting story, if nothing else. sort of weary now and tired of like all of the amazon price discount stories clogging up my blog
feeds at this point i'm like ready for prime day to be over uh come and gone but this one did yeah
exactly but this one did jump out because like they're doing all of these discounts now leading
up to prime day to well to generate awareness and to get people like you and me talking about it
like we are now but uh the Arlo units, you know, pretty
compelling outdoor camera option, wireless, at least in that consumer space, you know, pretty
compelling one, and massive price discounts on these. So the three pack, which is normally $580
full retail on Amazon is now available for only $317. So that's a very, very big discount here. Again, $580 down to $317.
And the two-camera system is also on sale for $298 down from $479. So definite fire sale prices
here. Makes you wonder if a new model is coming soon. Really hard to say, but yeah, really big
discount. So I don't know it's interesting i'm i'm
i'm considering pulling the trigger we'll see yeah well you got you got you have your options
open here um you got the arlo you've got you got the wise cam so yeah you've all pretty good pricing
right um one one thing uh you mentioned prime day it uh, Robert Spivak again, uh, chatting
in the hub to the, towards this afternoon here, I put this over in our chat channel
there.
Um, Walmart throwing down the gauntlet.
It's what I, I captioned it.
It's basically says it's a Walmart ad.
It says introducing free next day delivery, no membership required.
So you can go to walmart.com and get free next day delivery no membership required so you can go to walmart.com and get free next day delivery
uh on things that they have there i guess so interesting awesome yeah that's great no it's
great news i know walmart is one of the few companies out there that i've seen sort of
consistently giving amazon a little bit of a run for its money. I mean, everything being relative, of course.
Walmart is one of the few companies out there that has the scale and the size to really go do this sort of thing.
So that's great.
Great for consumers.
Another really good option.
Definitely will be checking that out.
Billionaires playing with money.
Yeah, exactly.
Monopoly money.
Right.
Guitar Center is hitting all the right notes as it continues to add top custom integration companies to its business solutions group.
The latest acquisition by the world's largest musical instrument retailer was Illinois-based AV integration firm Tunnel Vision year, TBTIO joins San Francisco Bay Area-based audio-visual design group, ABDG,
which is another CE Pro 100 firm
in the Guitar Center's
Business Solutions Group portfolio,
which now offers system design
and integration services
to commercial and residential customers
in the Midwest,
in addition to the West Coast.
Pretty interesting seeing this kind of slowly roll out.
Yeah.
From Guitar Center, I saw this headline float by earlier today,
and I thought, ah, commercial.
Not really us.
And then you said, no, no, no, no, residential.
Right, right.
Yeah, it is interesting, and CE Pro just put this story out this week,
and I thought we'd toss it in here and mention it really quickly because I think it is a pretty fascinating story to watch.
Somebody who sort of studies the business of professional home technology and is just interested in what other, especially large companies are coming into the space and what sort of interest they have. Yeah, commercial seemed
to be the focus of Guitar Center's strategy early on, but TVTI does appear to be really
more residential. The story talks about how they're very deep in the MDU space there in
their market in Illinois. So yeah, intriguing story and definitely not a, you know, sort of
unlikely bedfellows here, I guess I would say,
with Guitar Center getting into the space.
Be very curious to keep an eye on this story and see how it continues to develop.
Moving on from there, to celebrate the show's 30th anniversary,
Hulu has released an episode shuffle button for Seinfeld episodes.
I love Seinfeld, one of my favorite shows of all time.
When you go to the Seinfeld
page in Hulu's Apple TV app, you'll see a button called, quote, yada, yada, yada. Seinfeld fans
will appreciate the reference there. Hitting that will boot up a playlist with a random selection
of the show's 180 episodes. So kind of a fun story here. And um you know i haven't watched seinfeld in years but was definitely a
big part of of my life growing up we were big fans of seinfeld yeah yeah that's it's it's i i caught
most of the reruns i never watched it live but um this is this is kind of like what watching tv was
back then for me like you would you would get the reruns and they would never be in order so you
would that's right this is this is exactly like watching tv in the, you would get the reruns and they would never be in order. So you would, that's right. This is, this is exactly like watching TV in the nineties and catching
the reruns. So yeah. Right. Well, and it's funny because I think there's something to be said for
that, right? Like I, I read this story and that was one of the first thing that things that jumped
to my mind and digital trends, this story we read from here was from Engadget, but digital trends
also had a story about it. They talked about exactly what you're saying, where it's like
streaming actually needs more of this kind of thing. Because part of me, like I love the
convenience of streaming and I love being able to select whatever show I want, whenever I want.
But sometimes like now that we've cut the cord, like I just miss the ability on those rare
occasions where we watch TV these days, which isn't often, but to just turn it on.
Yeah.
And have that like random factor.
Oh God.
Just have like something come on and just have it play in the background. And with streaming,
everything is so purposeful and deliberate and you're always having to think about what you want to watch. And sometimes I just miss like being able to just turn it on and let things play
sort of randomly well i i can't watch uh i can't i have
to hand the remote over to my wife every time we go to netflix because what i'll do is i'll just
sit there and watch the previews and i'll just it'll be like 30 minutes later she's like are
you gonna pick something i'm like well yeah it's horrible it's it's a real thing it's a total first
first world problem like completely the the definition of a first world problem.
But yeah, I battle with that too.
I've found that I have to sort of decouple the process.
Like if I know I'm going to want to watch a show that night, like I be able to just put it on and not get stuck
spending 30 40 minutes like looking for a show out of thousands of options and then ending up
like watching nothing because i just spend all my time watching previews the whole time yep no that's
that's crazy that's me yeah this is a pretty good paradox of choice i just opened hulu and and
navigated through their horrible app to the Seinfeld page, like the directions say.
And it does have a yada, yada, yada.
Yada, yada, yada.
It's a parentheses shuffle, just in case you couldn't.
And it also has the shuffle icon next to it, which is kind of nice.
Oh, there you go.
It does work.
So that's pretty cool.
I'm going to go ahead and play and see what comes up.
Love it.
Oh, a commercial.
Great.
Thanks, Hulu.
All right.
Moving on. Wah, wah, wah. play and see what comes up love it oh a commercial great thanks hulu all right moving on not to be outdone uh at&t's warner media announced on tuesday uh that its new streaming service will
be called hbo max god i feel like we're returning to the branding of the late 90s and early 2000s and we're gonna have well
that and like there's now hbo max hbo go oh yeah hbo now which is not confusing hbo is now the new
amazon prime video got it yeah that's exactly as the name implies it includes a lot more than just
content from hbo hbo max will include shows and movies from Warner Brothers, New Line, DC Entertainment,
CNN, TNT, TBS,
TruTV, The CW, Turner Classic
Movies, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim,
Crunchyroll, Rooster
Teeth, Looney
Toons, and other...
I think he's just making stuff up now.
Looney Toons and other content providers.
It also includes exclusive rights to stream
all 236 episodes of the TV show Friends.
Yeah, yeah.
Big, big disappointment in my household when I told my wife, hey, Friends is leaving Netflix and it's going to some weird HBO Max app that we don't have.
You see, this was a sort of a point of contention in my early relationship with my wife.
Seinfeld's so much better than Friends.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, by far.
It's just not debatable, but my wife has a different opinion on that.
So we managed to make it through that early test of our relationship and still get married.
But it was a big deal.
Brutal.
This is a weird story though to me like hbo max i
weird in the sense of uh that at&t is so heavily branding on hbo like hbo max but it's not just
hbo it has all those other networks that you just read so i think kind of a confusing name um i guess a compelling looking offering but
um it's gonna be hard to stand out the streaming market is becoming so crowded with so many
different great options that it'll be really interesting to see how this one shakes out
in the in the competitive landscape yeah i mean i think this just comes from basically at&t but getting
would take like combined with warner media warner yeah so like this is this is at&t's like
overarching attempt to basically kill everything nice yeah no and i i mean i get all that it's just
hbo is so associated in my mind with HBO.
Like that's, you know, they- Why take that brand?
HBO is such a strong brand.
Yeah.
Exactly.
So interesting choice, but maybe they're just trying to leverage that brand awareness to drive this offering.
Yeah.
I mean, if they called it AT&T Max, no one would care or want-
Not so compelling.
That's right.
Not so compelling. that's right that's right i mean hbo was really
the big they were like really the first pioneer of like kind of cable miniseries television which
of course now is there's so many options with right with streaming content but you think back
to you know the early sort of sopranos and i know my wife was huge into
sex in the city and like oh yeah these were really sort of bleeding edge uh series when they came out
right so it's interesting right right well at&t has not said how much the new uh hbo max will cost
we're kind of waiting on that the it should beta later this year and be launched publicly in the spring of 2020.
We'll include up to 10,000 hours of content. Not bad.
Well, moving on here and speaking of streaming, one last story that we wanted to touch on this week and spend just a couple of minutes on is a great story from GQ. And this is, I guess, the British version of GQ. I didn't know there
was two, but GQ out of the UK here did a kind of an interesting, I would say non-flattering,
definitely write up on Apple's, you know, TV Plus, their TV offering that they're getting
ready to come out with. And it was a sort of an interview style.
It wasn't written in a true sort of interview way,
but it was clearly a conversation between the author and Eddie Q,
who is the Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services at Apple.
He's one of the top brass there, but as the story reports,
sort of under the radar for most people.
Most people aren't familiar with him by name.
He's been there since 1989.
He's the guy that wears the Hawaiian shirts at the keynote.
So if you're like, that guy is probably, like, he looks stoned.
Yeah, I mean, he's the cool guy.
And reportedly, according to the GQ story, has a reputation, deserved or not,
he denies it in the story story but for falling asleep at meetings
totally looks like that kind of guy totally looks like there might be something to your theory there
uh but anyways the story talks about really exactly what we were just saying which is like
how competitive the landscape is they talk about it it's a great read so we'll include a link to
it in the show notes hometech.fm slash 266 and they talk about apple. It's a great read, so we'll include a link to it in the show notes, hometech.fm slash 266.
And they talk about Apple's content budget of $2 billion, which, quote,
sounds like a lot until you consider the $15 billion Netflix will spend this year alone,
which begs the question, what will Apple TV be providing that no one else will?
What is unique? And the story goes on to talk about some of the sort of, I guess, incongruous nature of you think about Apple and you think really, what are they sort of known for from like a company culture perspective?
And it's a very tight level of control and almost micromanagement.
And they talk about the challenges with content production
and how you kind of have to be out there on the bleeding edge. In fact, this story mentions
Sopranos and early HBO shows and how a lot of those companies have really staked their claim
in the content space by pushing the envelope. And it talks about reports. Again, I don't know
if these are confirmed. It talks about a report from the New York Post that Cook and Q, Tim Cook and Eddie Q, were visiting sets in order to rein in shows that weren't, quote, towing the line. So just an interesting write-up and an interesting piece regarding kind of the alignment or potential misalignment between
apple's culture and what they're trying to do with regards to content production yeah we've
there's been a couple of those stories where uh they they've had certain types of shows or or
things that apple looked like they were going to bring on and then turn down because they didn't
meet whatever standards or guidelines like you you probably won't see a Soprano style show um on Apple TV plus anytime soon if not at all you know at all ever
uh you know the Sopranos kind of gets a bad rap like it's it's it's kind of like Game of Thrones
like everything was kind of well Game of Thrones Sopranos kind of like had all the sex and gore
like in the first couple seasons and kind of like leveled out after that and got all artsy and and uh the story put the story behind it rather so
like i think they all do that right they all kind of like get you in there with the the uh the blood
and the guts and the sex and then like then they just they make it all into a story run out of
things to write about and it either gets really boring or it gets so like extreme and out there that right you know
you lose interest that that's what the great shows do do well is stand that test of time
like game of thrones like you mentioned or well sopranos definitely is is one of those great
great shows i just like they they held up the story all the way through all the way to the end
very last scene so like it's it's it's definitely one of the best television shows that has ever been produced.
And I'm watching Seinfeld over here.
Here's another one.
But you can't put The Sopranos on random.
It's a linear show.
No, it's very serial.
But yeah, it's something to consider as you sort of ponder how Apple's going to try to stand out or what they're going to do differently.
By all accounts, they're going to take a little bit more of maybe a family-friendly approach.
Not to say that it's all going to be sort of cartoons and kids shows.
But like you said, you're just hearing enough data points come across that there's kind of this level of control and that's
really in apple's dna and i i can't profess to know anything about the world of of tv show
production or movie production but i have to imagine that there are some really big opinionated
personalities involved with producing the best shows out there?
And is Apple's culture incongruous with that becomes the question.
Right. What level of control are they going to cede to Apple?
You know, who's doing the producing and paying and all that stuff?
Like what level of control are they going to be willing to give up to be on the platform?
That's right and and there may
be plenty of opportunity out there for that type of of uh of platform to exist like some shows you
know on netflix like i i open it up sometimes and like you know uh stranger things is on and now
like i think that's the top marquee and you open it up now and my daughter's in the room and the
stranger things things starts playing and like she's looking at it and you can tell she's trying to like,
Oh, quick, turn that off and go to the kids. Yeah. Go to the kids side of Netflix, you know,
but like, there's definitely some things you wouldn't want, uh, you know, a two or three
year old to walk in and, and see that just kind of pops up on, on the previews on Netflix. So,
um, there may be a pretty good market for that kind of thing for Apple. Fair point.

Moving on here, pick of the week, Seth.
You've got a personal attachment to this story,
and it's definitely something I'm actually interested in picking up
for my own house as well yeah so speaking of apple and and the apple tv the product not the
streaming service that's not out yet uh the apple tv remote uh either you you hate it or you hate
it even worse like it's not a great remote like this is probably like a wet
bar of soap yeah it's probably the worst remote ever designed um so there's been a number of like
case companies that have come out little cases that you can put around it uh and i kind of i
i saw this one uh i can't remember where i saw it and i decided to check it out this little guy is
actually a really good case it's it's uh like a silly It's called the Elago R1 IntelliCase.
You can get them on Amazon for between $799 and I think $1199. It's kind of like that
silicone, soft silicone stuff that your kitchen utensils are made out of that wraps around the
case. You kind of slip the remote inside of it it but what it does more than anything is it gives you the feel of an actual remote like when you
pick it up you don't pick up the remote upside down you don't slip and drop it like it it's got
little a little place like that raises it off of the desk where you can actually put your fingers
around and underneath it to pick it up and hold it in your hand like a real object that is not meant to sit on a pedestal somewhere and be, you know, admired.
Something that you, you know, want to use like a remote.
It's impossible to use it upside down because it's actually weighted.
It has what turns out to be little magnets inside of it that you can actually stick it to like metal things so you don't lose it uh between the couch cushions uh i have a metal stand here on my desk that i
kind of like stick it on and it sits there and floats in the air and i can reach over and tap
on it and stuff but man what a great little find for like seven or eight let's see eight dollars
up to twelve dollars um yeah looks like the pricing range is based on color. At least I'm not sure if there
are other differences, but this looks like a nice little product. I'm getting on Amazon to buy one
right now. Yeah. I hope if you, if you use the Apple TV remote and I use it like on occasion,
I have a couple of different smart remotes hooked up to the system here. It's our default. Yeah.
And it's, it's the remote that we use really 90 99 of the time then you will love this thing like um get get whichever ever color you want but
i i can recommend i have the blue version i got i got a black one which i think is the black is
789 and the blue one for whatever reason is is uh gene indigo i guess they needed to have that
not blue but it's blue uh That one is $11.99.
I figured, you know, get two colors and see which one I liked best.
Oh, they have a red one too.
I'm kind of boring when it comes to color.
And I also happen to be really cheap.
So yeah, well, I mean, it is black.
Yeah, it's definitely worth it.
I wholeheartedly recommend this.
And it comes with a, I don't have mine attached, but it comes with a little strap thing.
So if you play, I guess, video games or something, I don't know, or have a careless child, or maybe you're careless yourself, you can actually strap this around your wrist and you won't lose it.
Cool.
Well, great find.
Constantly, my big complaints with the remote are, and we mentioned them both is
it's a very slick remote, I feel like. So it's just kind of hard to grip. And, and then I'm
constantly, there's nothing about it that makes it easy to tell if you're picking it up the right
way or upside down. Yeah. So I'm constantly sort of having to look down. I've gotten better
at that just with the feel of the, the material on the top and the bottom i can kind of tell if i have it the right way or not but
yeah from a day-to-day user experience perspective it's it's not a great remote it's i i don't find
it terrible i mean it it's not it's not something i um i i like can't stand to use but it's certainly
i'm looking forward to trying this case out.
Yeah, it serves its purpose.
And this makes the remote actually usable and actually turns it into a remote.
Apple should buy this company and they should ship every single remote with this little case.
You listening, Apple?
Yeah.
I mean, this is a brilliant little, the Siri remote part of it, like where you talk into it, I guess.
I do that a lot where I'm searching for something.
You hold down the button.
Yeah, that works perfectly.
It's got little holes for all that.
It's got a hole for the charger on the bottom, which works fine.
So, yeah, I cannot recommend this more to any fat-fingered individual out there who can't pick up the stupid remote.
This is really a really good product.
Nice.
Not even a sponsorship, by the way.
No, yeah.
This is just a glowing review.
Exactly.
Cool.
All right.

Newman.
Nice.
This is the one where they steal all those records from the uh the old man
i don't know if you remember that one it's oh yeah yeah yeah yes of course they're trying to
get him out of there i think i've seen every i'm pretty sure i've seen every episode at this point
this became like it was a show i grew up on in high school and whatnot and then it became
sort of later in my life after college, it became,
you know how like sometimes you have that show that you put on every night to like fall asleep
to? Yeah. Yeah. That was Seinfeld for me. Like it re-ran, there were reruns playing
at whatever time it was, 10 or 10 30 at night on a certain channel. And I would put them on and it
was like, that was, it became my, uh, my fall asleep show. And so I, I watched eight on, I've watched a ton of Seinfeld. I really enjoyed that show.
It's been a while since I watched it, but I may have to dig, dig back in.
So would they say 180, 180 Seinfeld episodes? Is that what they said? And then there was like 200.
That's what they said in the story. Yeah. I'm not, I presumably that's, that's all of them.
I'm actually not sure, but, uh, yeah, that's that's all of them i'm actually not sure but uh
yeah there's quite a few of them if you want to add to your repertoire
that friends has plenty of uh episode 236 don't get me started
yeah friends never did it for me it doesn't it doesn't do it for me now either like the the
comedy just it's it doesn't hold up to me.
I just didn't get into the characters, I guess.
Right, right.
All right, well, fun show, Seth.
Enjoyed it, and I will look forward to connecting with you again next week.
All right, Jason, have a great weekend.
All right, you too.
Take care. Take care.
Take care.
