Starting point is 00:00:35 Welcome to at this moment, me, Jim Jeffries. I'm here with Amos Gil. Look, this is a bit of a hodgepodge of an episode. Amos's internet went in and out and in and out and in and out. And so, look, Jack has a tough job ahead of him. Maybe you can put it together. Maybe you can't. If you want to come and see me, September 11th, easy date to remember.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Windsor, Ontario, September 12, Thunder Bay, Ontario. And then people of Iceland, September 27th, I'm going to be in Iceland. I'm going to bring the wife out. Maybe we'll see some Northern Lights. What are you up to, Amos? You can come and see me, September 10, Tacoma, September 11 in Vancouver, September 12, Calgary, September 13, Washington, D.C. That is my return to North America. I can't wait to get back home.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Jim, this episode was all over the place. The internet was doing what it normally does. and I'm willing to put my hand up now and say it's just not good enough. And here we are. We're post episode. You said, didn't like that episode. Didn't like it. This wasn't my best work.
Starting point is 00:01:38 I got very upset about hair dryers. We also talked about the Sydney Swans. We're going to talk about a woman killing three of her children. It just wasn't light. I would say it lacked mirth. Yeah. I would say the most passionate I got was about the hair dries and not about the dying of children. So, you know, look, I'm not proud of myself.
Starting point is 00:01:57 You shouldn't be proud of yours. yourself, but everyone have a listen. Now, well, hold on. Actually, I've just thought of another light story we can start off. That will lead into the actual one. Did you see this thing about the tape brothers? Yeah, they've been locked up. That was ages ago.
Starting point is 00:02:09 No, no, no, no. So it came out in court that, because they're going after their assets as well as other stuff, that all those baguettis and Lamborghinis are all rented. Oh, I don't like that. Don't like that. That was the only reason I liked them was the Begardis. That's why, and that's why you signed up the Hustlers University. So you must feel played.
Starting point is 00:02:31 I was like, if I live like them, I'll have Bugatti, I'll have Lamborghini. If I hang out and I act like them, act like them, and I don't get shit. I saw an article that was talking about, like, renting a fancy car is the cheapest way to demonstrate wealth to morons. Like most young dudes, if it watches are one thing, but just renting cost per appearance, it's better to just rent a Ferrari for a, and shoot a bunch of videos sitting on top of it like why you still doing nine to five what are you a fucking moron and then you're going to start selling courses online but basically my my i forgot to tell you this on the podcast too bitcoin's back this week yeah which made a big difference in my world because your dad's because my dad's got everything in bitcoin for those who have followed along
Starting point is 00:03:25 that know my dad sold our family home and put it in bitcoin because he said that's the me only way to make it in this life. I'm rolling the dice. Oh, I thought he would have a son in show business who'd buy him a few things eventually. But, you know, he reckons Bitcoin. So Bitcoin's up and it's been down. And that has been like truly mentally at the bottom
Starting point is 00:03:45 I've ever seen him, cooked mentally. Now Bitcoin's rallying back. I go to see him the other day. He's just sitting there and he's just refreshing. Endlessly refreshing. And he goes, look at that. I made 30 grand last night without lifting a finger. hey and you're old man she's fucking clever what kind of an old dog can learn new tricks this crypto
Starting point is 00:04:06 I'm telling you and then just for a bit of fun if you when he lost the when he lost the hundred grand that went off it right he didn't ring you up and go I lost that during me sleep doing nothing doing nothing I got robbed overnight just sitting back laying in me bed having a wink and look at us he's thousands of dollars down right yeah but anyway because it was up i said to him you have to regulate your emotions you're treating this like you're punting on horses you know it's meant to be a long-term play you can't refresh all day every day right but because he was up i sat next to him but he goes when was your birthday i go yeah june 22 he goes i didn't get you a present did i he goes give me a bsb an account number
Starting point is 00:04:50 give you a couple hundred bucks to go and buy yourself something so i caught him do this do you do you do this too, if you've had a win on the stocks or something or your investments have gone up, that's the best time to catch you where you're willing to take people out for dinner, you'll give someone a present. But by the same token, the moment that I have a dip in my investments or I've lost a punt, if you're unlucky enough to come to me. I, if you get you on that day. I'm calling every friend I have who owes me anything. Do you ever do that way, all of a sudden you start to call in the debts of your friends? I've never called in debts of friends.
Starting point is 00:05:27 No, I've never called that in. So you've never had a day where your stocks or whatever have collapsed and then you go, right, JJ. I've never done that. I've never done that. I've never done that. That's a you thing. No, no, I'm a better person. Mate, I can't.
Starting point is 00:05:40 The amount of times that I've gone, just to let you know, remember when we were, remember we did that trip in New York and I picked up the $400 dinner, we are getting to the point where I've got to need that $200. Because. I will, I will say this. My wife knows when to ask me for money and when to not ask me for money. Like, oh, you just have to pay the nanny. And like, even if I'm not bothered by, I've got to whisper this.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Even if I'm not bothered about it, I always act like I'm super angry. So that she doesn't ask for as much money. Always go, I like, I do the George Costanza, ignored at work. Just so, oh, like that. Also, my ex will send me Zels just for school excursions and school outfits. and stuff like that. And yeah, I don't pay them right away. You have to send me three or four texts just to send the message,
Starting point is 00:06:32 just to send the message. If you want to have a fun time in your life, okay? Because I'm not in, I don't understand crypto, right? I'm not, I'm an old wog. I believe in gold, okay? So if you want to have a bit of fun, find your friend who's the biggest believer in Bitcoin and has money in it. Like my dad, it might be your dad, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:06:52 Ask them to explain to you what it is. So I had dinner with my nana, who's 95, and my dad, they're having salt and pepper squid. And I go, say, Dad, you must be happy. The Bitcoin's flying. XRP's up. Why is XRP so good? And he's talking to my nana. Well, XRP is, you know how when you're banking, there's the way your money has to go into the bank,
Starting point is 00:07:20 and then there's, what XRP does is it creates a system where. there's an exchange in a way where there's, it's fucking good, all right? And how do you spend it? It's fucking good. How do you spend it? Look, no, listen, go on Reddit. It all explains it in there. It's a contract where they can't shut it off. And you've got it at home, have you?
Starting point is 00:07:44 It's at home somewhere. No, it's on the internet. In the bank, it's in the bank, is it? No, it's the new kind of banking. You don't, listen, all I'm saying is, is, is this is going to, it's going to be worth a million dollars per coin. When? It could be in a few years.
Starting point is 00:08:03 After the World War, people will want XRP because it does contracts. And because I'm like this as well, do you ever think you understand something? And then when someone asks you to explain it, you realize you're a complete moron? I bought a few bitcoins just in case those people were right. I didn't invest a lot of money, but I put some money into a few bitcoins and just, just in case, just in case that these things do go to me. But at the end of it, at the end of my life, I will just give them to my kids and go in about around 2020, these things were as popular as all fuck. Yeah, that's what it is. It's like I invest in speculative mining stocks with my very small dollars.
Starting point is 00:08:47 And it is, I just wander around all day like, come on, come on lithium and chili. Well, was it, was it Kenya, was I telling you that the other day, has had a gold rush? Yeah, they have had a gold rush, yeah. And so people are heading out there. Yeah, all these people have come out there. And once again, it's the people selling the pans and the shovels who are making money. And there's just people out in the water with a dish thinking they're going to pick up a whole lot of gold. It's good.
Starting point is 00:09:10 It's prospecting, like in the old days. I haven't seen footage like this forever. Wouldn't you love to quit it all and go prospecting? There's something so old world about it. 20 years ago, I would have, right? 20 years. I saw an old bloke the other day. I was in Whole Foods and there was a guy at the counter and then, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:30 there was a nice looking younger girl in her 20s working at the checkout, right? And this old like went, if I was, you guys, if I was 30 years younger, because if I was 30 years younger, I'd ask you out. You've seen old blokes. That's their work around. That's that big move. Big move. If I was 30 years younger, I'd ask you out.
Starting point is 00:09:54 30 years younger, you'd still be 50, can't. You'd still be 50. You'd still be 50. Hey, I tell you what? So he left it, and then I looked there. I went, if I was 20 years younger, you'd still say no to me. I'd give you the hot tip. If you were 30 years younger is less creepy than if you were three years older.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Yeah, mildly. You reckon? Yeah, mildly. If you were just a few years older, oh, then I'd have a crack. They don't have a crack. If this cock still worked, not with it away, it does nothing, really. If I wasn't required to put my details on a register that the government makes me sign up for, I'd ask you out. Yeah, which is why I'm talking to you begin with.
Starting point is 00:10:43 You should know that I live down the road. Hello, David. Anyway, here's the podcast. At this moment Hello Amos Welcome to At this moment With me Jim Jeffries And Amos Gil
Starting point is 00:11:00 Is it obvious that I've got a fake background It's well it's obvious But it's more exciting The other microphone that works No one's going to worry about your fake background We know that you know That you're in Scotland No you're in Adelaide right now
Starting point is 00:11:13 You're in Adelaide right now And your memory is Genuinely appalling You're somewhere You're somewhere all the time You're always somewhere And I have to keep up with your dallie overseas and all that type of stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:26 So you're in Edinburgh, you're now in Adelaide, you're coming back to New York. I know what you're up to. I know what you're up to. My room is so appallingly messy. I've put this fake AI background or whatever the Riverside gives you. I like it. It's nice. It's like it's the sun setting or it's early in the morning, one or the two.
Starting point is 00:11:44 You've got the artwork of a cassette. What does it actually look like? What do you really look like? The effects weekend. I won't let me know. No, it's still the same thing. No, no, no, that's the world you live in now with your little vase on top of the bookshelf that it would never tip over in any type of situation.
Starting point is 00:12:02 There's no one, you know, you're not in LA when there's a little vase and a thin bookshelf like that. That would fall over all day. I'm basically coming to you from a Pinterest page. You're true that. You're still filming the movie? How is that going? Filming the movie, lots of sitting around, mate, in it, you know, with acting.
Starting point is 00:12:19 I had one line the other day, and I got there at 9 a.m. I delivered it at 11 p.m. I was in the background a lot. This was my line. What do you mean? All right. Now, hang on, hang on. Don't tell the audience what your motivation is with this line, right?
Starting point is 00:12:34 So say it how you said it, right? And now the audience can decide what your motivation is. All right. I remember this. What do you mean? Okay, so you're confused and you're asking someone what they mean because you want to know what they mean, right? But you're not angry, right? You weren't angry in this situation.
Starting point is 00:12:52 So here was the director's note. The director who is my best friend. Are you angry? He yelled at me like this. What are you doing it like that for? Your character doesn't like me and at this point in the movie does like me. So you've got to say it more like this. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:13:09 And that I said... I know, that's not the right read for anything. I said, I wouldn't say it like that. He goes, yeah, you would. I wrote the character. I go, but the character is called Amos. So you've based the character on me. And I go, so what you've done here is told me how to be me.
Starting point is 00:13:23 and then he goes, that's exactly right. Now, that's the energy we want. And then you went, what do you mean? What is that supposed to mean? And he goes, there you're finally acting. That's what he's been doing to me to get reactions shots. So I'll be sitting there. He goes, I need you to be a little bit pissed off here.
Starting point is 00:13:44 And I go like this, you know, because I'm a pretty mediocre actor. So I'm like, hmm. And then he would just go, I came to America and surpassed your career in six months. fuck off. And he's like, we've got it, we can move on. Oh, he's not right and he's not wrong. Wrong. Yeah, so it's all right, mate, I'm having a bit of fun with the crew over here.
Starting point is 00:14:09 But it's a lot of waiting around. You always hear that from people that do acting. It's a lot of waiting around. The whole movie industry is development, development, development. You have to cast it in two days, right? So they'll develop movie for a year. Then the most important thing in the movie is the casting. the most important thing that can happen, and they do that over a week, right?
Starting point is 00:14:27 They cast the movie, then you get on set and they talk about shots and angles and lightings and this and this, that, the other, and then the most important thing happens, the actors have to do the scene. And then one actor stuffs up a line and they get screamed at and cold, we're running out of daylight. And that's what acting is. You know, the biggest mistake I made is in one of the scenes, my character, I decided he downed a beer, and then went, did a little burp and goes, how long?
Starting point is 00:14:53 Is this story going to go? I've now had to scull a beard upwards of 18 times. That was a hacky scene already. You ever seen? Okay, so you ever see like those actors that they're in some mafia film and they're like twirling pasture and hey, I've got to tell you what we're all going to do? It's never a well-known actor. Well-known actors always take little tiny bite so they lift the fork up and then they
Starting point is 00:15:15 have a different thing. They never shubble. Because Brad Pitt always supposedly likes to be eating in scenes. Well, because your face looks animated and like, you know, you know, you're, you have a Face looks animated and like you're doing something like that, but he just takes a bite of a bit of a sandwich, but he probably starves throughout the rest of the day. Like,
Starting point is 00:15:29 you don't even want that player, that player's not good. You get me another player, right? Well, they're not even giving me fake beer, so I've just been getting absolutely legless. Right, right. Then by the end,
Starting point is 00:15:40 I'm like this. What do you mean? I like how it's just, it's called alcohol-free beer for all of us, alcoholic zeros, and you call it fake, fake beer. Fake beer.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Yeah, like when you have sex with a trans person, fake woman, not nose, uterus-free. Yeah, they don't count. That's what I keep telling my wife anyway. I want to talk about something. Well, let's talk quickly about Megan and Harry. Megan and Harry have a moving back to England, moving back to England. It's been a big announcement. I remember because I saw it on the news, there was like a, there was a big police chase
Starting point is 00:16:15 where five people died in a car accident and stuff. But the headline story above the five people dying in the car accident. BBC news was Megan is coming out. Not only are they moving back to Britain, but she is also in talks to have an acting role in the new season of the gentleman. No, she's out. What? She's been thrown out. What's happened there? I believe there's an acting job available? Yeah, she's been passed on. Really? Isn't that a slap in the ass? So why have they, why have they said no to Megan? Let's have a look. Intense backlash. Megan's been big,
Starting point is 00:16:54 Mega Markle has reportedly dropped from consideration to join Guy Ritchie's. Now my wife. Following intense backlash. My wife is a big Megan fan. She likes Megan and Harry. Most people don't like Megan and Harry. I'm a little bit indifferent to Megan and Harry, but what I do feel about Megan and Harry is this, is they go, they're going home because he's like,
Starting point is 00:17:12 I've always wanted to raise my kids, you know, in England. And it's been so sad that they can't sort of see the way that I grew up and the England that I love. Wait a minute, mate. Wasn't it like two years ago? It was hell, wasn't it? You're like, I can't move back to this country because of the safety of my wife and the media and how they treat my family.
Starting point is 00:17:33 It would be irresponsible for me to move back to England. A mushy peas that good, mate. Are they that good that you've gone? The grift is over. The grift of them trying to be Martha Stewart, their shitty podcast, the jams they were selling. They couldn't sell shit. They were living in Santa Barbara up the road from Ellen and from Oprah, and they lived in a nice house, and she was just, look, she was, this is how bad they were running out of money. She was a judge on Master Chef, right?
Starting point is 00:18:07 Not American Master Chef, not British Master Chef, but Australian Master Chef for an episode while I was over touring in Australia, and on this episode, we have Megan. And Megan's like this. Oh, geez, that is a good sticky toffee pudding. And I should know because my husband, she was giving it a bit of that. And then at one stage, she's just like, I'm enjoying this meal so much, I've got to call Harry. Because obviously in the contract, can you bring Harry? He won't come. We'll face-time him.
Starting point is 00:18:37 All right. We'll face-to me like this. Today's challenge is family-style cooking. And by that I mean, isolate everyone in your family and move to another country and reheat something. So she rang Harry and Harry's like, oh, that does look good. I wish I could eat it. Oh, brilliant. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:51 So anyway, so they've obviously run out of money. This whole idea of, oh, we need this much money for security. We need this much money for this. We need this much money for that. They do need security in Great Britain. This is without a doubt. They need full-time, 24-hour, three or four people working at their home, like proper security, right? They could be stalked.
Starting point is 00:19:13 They could be followed. They could be killed. Look, at the end of the day, he's still brother to the king and son to the country. and son to the current king. He's still a super important dude. But the country doesn't mean anything anymore. I'm sorry, but how important are you? Don't you get me started on England.
Starting point is 00:19:28 The wonderful place. People on the internet have been putting me in my place all week. So what happened is, right, they've come back to England. Now he's obviously gone to his day. Sorry, did the Brits realize that it's over? Anyway, carry on. Yeah, so obviously he goes to Dad and goes, oh, Daddy, and he goes, oh, I didn't know that you were going to call me.
Starting point is 00:19:46 And he goes, well, Daddy, I'm out of my. money and could you pay for security? I'm not paying for security while you're gallivanting around America. I just can't do it. I can't get it done. All right. Well, what if we come home? And then he's gone to Megan. He's gone, um, I can get a security, love. As long as, you know, we, we go back to England and she's on, fucking what? And he goes, well, I can't get any jobs and you don't seem to be getting any jobs. And we're going to say, they've gone, now we're missing. Then we're going to come back. Now, it's all very well and good while your dad's the king. but soon your dad who's the king is going to die and then your brother who you haven't spoken to in
Starting point is 00:20:22 fucking years now is going to be in charge that's going to be oh that's got to be because we saw how quickly Charles got rid of his brother right he I think they I honestly think these grifters recount everything they say and they desperately try and get back in oh 100% I believe that they go we won't be doing royal duties we'll just be living there We will see that woman walking around the AIDS wing of a hospital if they still exist, because that's what Diana did, right? I don't think there's still a wing anymore. That doesn't need a wing.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Probably more a foot. Anyway, so I see her walking around a hospital. There'll be Harry Cutner Ribbon out the front of an Azda. He'll be opening up one of them. They'll be all over the shop. In no time, they'll be back in the colonies. Oh. Saying we're terribly sorry about all that colonisation, but we're moving forward together.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Here's a prediction. Tour of Australia. in two years. Full tour. Oh, 100% mate. Full tour. Or the brother goes, you want back in.
Starting point is 00:21:25 You want back in, do you? Okay. Megan Markle does a national apology to indigenous peoples and says that the royal family is integrated and it's diverse now and that we can have a new colony. A new colony that is progressive and forward thinking. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:40 And the ABC laps it up. They won't be given the Australian, New Zealand, Canada to us anymore. They'll have to go. off to some other collie. Oh, yeah. Well, Fiji's all right. Fiji's all right, but they can't stay in the resorts. They've got to stay with the people.
Starting point is 00:21:52 By the way, speaking of the Commonwealth being over, what about the Commonwealth Games? What the fuck was that? Well, I was in Australia when that happened as well. That was just Australia pounding the shit out of all the other countries, just like humiliatingly so, where it was a little bit ridiculous, where other countries were just throwing people in swimming pools who hadn't finished swimming lessons anymore,
Starting point is 00:22:11 just splashing around at the end. But I just want to speak quickly about England's, my lovely wife just walked out, hello dear. Hi. Now, so on the podcast and Jack cut up a clip, right, cut up a clip, there was, there was some footage of me saying that, uh, the UK, Britain, I referred to Britain quickly as a country and that made people very angry. Even though I adjusted very quickly in the next sentence and said, oh, that's wrong. It's not a country. Um, I said that, uh, they don't have drives, right? I didn't think this is an outrageous statement or anything. Of course, some of them have dryers. I wouldn't say a sweeping statement and say
Starting point is 00:22:48 none of them have dries. This is a comedy podcast and we're just talking, we're not talking in absolutes, right? Then he put it up there and then I woke up to a barrage of fucking abuse from English people and I'm sitting in bed going, what the fuck? And they're all like this. I've been born and bred here. And everyone I know has a dryer. Right? Well, you haven't traveled to any other countries because you're fucking wrong because I was there going I was watching the thing on my phone and I was getting upset my wife's like what's wrong and I said oh the British people are upset because I said they didn't have dryers whereupon my wife who has lived in two places in England where I've always had a dryer. Mommy and daddy always had a dryer and I said wow I thought
Starting point is 00:23:32 maybe I'm wrong about this I'm going to have to Google this I'm going to have to check right because my experience, I lived in 12 different places in the UK, four places that I lived in an actual person, eight accommodations in Edinburgh, right, where they put you in someone else's flat, just like an Airbnb, and never once that I have a dryer. I always had these clothes, horses and wooden things you had to pull up to the kitchen roof and all the type of stuff and people putting underwear over radios. I never had a dryer in 12 locations I've been in. every single place that I've ever lived in America has had a dryer, whether it be an Airbnb or just something that I just stayed in briefly or a service department or whatever, always had a dryer, right?
Starting point is 00:24:14 So I Google it. How many dryers do you reckon? You've probably already read how angry I've got. In Britain, the drying percentage of people is between 50 and 56%. 50 is the high point. 50 is the minimum, right? Okay. In America, 90% of people have, and you're use dryers in their homes. Not these fucking washing dry machines, these all in one pieces of shit, an actual fucking dryer. So maybe they're not obese there. They've just shrunk their clothes. Carry on. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Now, in America, in America, I know, in America, sorry, it's 80% of people have dryers. In Britain, it's 50% of people have dryers, right? But in America, 15% of all people use laundromats. So they are taken out of the equation because they
Starting point is 00:25:04 are also using dryers even if they're rented. So New Yorkers, you mean. New Yorkers. And then, so that leaves 5% of this nation of 340 million people do not have dryers. Where in the UK, only 3% of people use laundromats. Leaving, let's be generous, leaving 40% of British people not owning, not using dryers. That's what I'm fucking talking about people. You don't have dryers, all right? 40% of you don't.
Starting point is 00:25:31 People who live in Zone 1 and zone 2 don't have fucking dryers. right if you have you know where your washing machine is if you live in a one bedroom apartment in zone one or zone two in London it's where the dishwasher should be that's where they fucking slap it just in the middle of your kitchen so you cook over here and you're washing your clothes over the other fucking side in a bloody 10 by 10 foot fucking room right yes you don't have fucking dry as you're lying cunts while i'm at it while i'm at it your toilets don't work at the crank system where you have to really rev the machine up and hope that it works like an old car that you had to out the front. They're fucking useless as well. So you've got shit toilets and none of you use
Starting point is 00:26:09 fucking dryers, facts. It's a scorching sports summer and you can make all your picks on prize picks. Women's basketball and baseball are heating up and every football pre-season game kicks off this month on prize picks. Starting point is 00:26:44 Have you seen Paige Bukas lighted up? Obviously, we like Caitlin Clark and we like, what's the other woman's name? Sophie Cunningham. The pointing. The pointing lady. Yes. Plus, we can add her points and assist to the same lineup. Then I'll add one more player and enjoy the night's games.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Plus, I can stack a game winner, spread a total from the W on top of my player picks to get even bigger payouts when I'm right. One lineup, one app, all the picks. Wow, download the app today and use the code ATM to get $150 instantly in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup. I'm going to tell you again, download the app today and use the code ATM to get $150 instantly in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup. Prize picks.
Starting point is 00:27:33 America's number one sports picks app. All right, so we've had to start recording on Zoom because Amos can't get his buddy computer to work. And now he can't have the fake background anymore. Now, it's like that scene on The Simpsons when a wall falls down and Lenny's sitting there just eating a tin of beans. He goes, don't tell people how I live. Please don't tell people how I live.
Starting point is 00:27:57 This is the Wizard of Oz. My beautiful backdrop has gone. And now you can see my, horrible duvet. You know, the only thing that remains is that there's a little pot of flowers at the exact same height in place where they were the last time. That's the only constant in your life. That's the bit in the matrix that always remains.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yes, I am a closed steamer. You're a closed steamer. You always look like shabby. I never look at you and go, oh, he looks really sharp. Sometimes when you're preppy, sometimes when you do your preppy outfits, when you want to look like a young Republican, you look very nice. Now, and you right now wearing a polo rugby jersey, that's what a young Australian Republican would do. That's very nice.
Starting point is 00:28:37 I like that. I've bought about five rugby. I'm so rugby shirt mad right now. I went to RM Williams and just unloaded. I have hit an age now. I bought heaps of ship from RM Williams and Rodden Gun. And that is I have officially ticked over to middle age. Well, there's a funny thing.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Quarter zips, rugby's. There's a funny thing that I believe. happens with music and clothing that as soon as your first child is born, you never change your style ever again and you've stopped listening to new music. That's the music, whatever music was happening there.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Because there's no music that goes like this. You've got kids. You're trying to raise them. You got kids trying to pay those bills. They're always like there's party. There's a murder on the dance floor. Everyone's fucking having. There's cats in the... Listen, cats
Starting point is 00:29:29 in the cradles are banged. Why isn't there more songs that's about the sun and I hate cats in the cradle because that that song doesn't it doesn't tell you he goes it doesn't goes when you come and hum son I don't know where but we'll get together at no stage that guy beat his wife leave his wife will not pay a fucking bill the guys are fucking working there's not that last fourth verse where he just goes he goes your mom didn't work another day I had to pay the bills because she wouldn't stay or whatever it doesn't do that I can't the song right now, but you understand what I'm saying. Oh, that isn't the real lyrics?
Starting point is 00:30:05 No, no, no. No stage is the song actually getting to the mum for not doing any work. It's all about the husband, never going to work too much. Yeah, your mom didn't have to work a single day. So you can see for obvious reasons I would think she would stay. Oh, God, I got a story to tell you. Anyway, so, yeah, you stop clothes, you stop music, you stop everything. But I do it.
Starting point is 00:30:34 I steam. I steam my fucking clothes. You haven't even have kids and you're already stuck. So this is what you're doing because you will be having kids, I believe, in the next two years, whether you like it or not. That's when you'll be having children in the next two years. Probably not with Annaika how things are going, but someone will have children with you, right?
Starting point is 00:30:49 My sperm doesn't, I told you the last time I did a test, they said that my sperm's alive, but my semen is too viscous. Wait a minute. What do you mean? last time he did a test. I've never come in a cup for a doctor, ever. Other people just to throw out my car window, because you don't want to get it on the upholstery.
Starting point is 00:31:10 This is a Mc Franklin bottle? Yeah. No, the end of the whole. But it is an out. Someone's got a big dick then. In an out cup, ironically. This is what I was thinking of the other day about the trans movement, right? And I'm a supporter.
Starting point is 00:31:24 You know, I'm a supporter. We're back. You know I'm a fan. Jack, we're back. Yeah, you know, I'm a fan. I'm a big fan. What they need is to really get at home, they don't need people playing sports or whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:35 They need someone who has a tremendous cock to go through the transition. Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee or John Hamm. You've seen the pictures of John Hamm where he's walking along, he's taking his cock for a walk, where basically you can see the silhouette of his dick in all trousers. He doesn't. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:51 If John Hamm goes, I've always thought of myself as a woman, and then he cuts his dick off, you'll go, he had a phenomenal cock. He must have really meant this. Yeah, and then they put it in formaldehyde and they put it in one of the libraries of Congress. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:32:05 The new statue for Missouri wants to get rid of Johnny Cash. Fuck me. Have I been getting grief over the Johnny Cash joke from over a year ago? And for the amount of times that I've said it on podcast, I got one bloke and he's quite sweet. And he's a big Johnny Cash enthusiast and he knows 1,600 Johnny Cash songs.
Starting point is 00:32:22 And so every day he sends me a Johnny Cash tune. Is it the one that goes, Exactly. Exactly. It's start, it's start. This is all you need to know. When I told the Johnny Cash joke, I go, you've never had a convertible drive up to the light and go, Dum-D-D-D-Dum-Bitt-Pum-Bit-Pum-Bit-pum-bitt-pum-bett-pum-bett-pum-bett-pum-bbbett-pum.
Starting point is 00:32:45 Like that, right? You've never had that happen. When I get off, if you hum a tune on stage that resembles another tune, you have to pay the money and all that type of stuff. Never had to pay for that. Because everybody agreed. It sounds. like Donny Cash, but no one could pick which song it was. It's just an impression of a train.
Starting point is 00:33:05 This guy, he's been sending me the songs. We're up to about day eight. See, I love Johnny Cash, so I have to accuse myself of this. You go on your own here. I'm a big cash fan. And I'm only a cash fan because of Joaquin Phoenix. I watched that movie as a kid, and I loved it. Do you know, Crow was meant to do that film, I believe?
Starting point is 00:33:21 That's what I heard. That's what I heard. That's what I heard. That's through the grape wine. No opinion on that. I love Russell, but Joaquin did a very good job. Russell would have done a good job. They later worked with each other too in Gladiator.
Starting point is 00:33:37 I wonder if it was around the same time. He worked with Gladiator before the bloody Johnny Cash. That was one of Wacken's first gigs. Anyway, we've really gone off the rails here for a little bit. What's the next subject matter you got? Oh, good. You'll straighten yourself up. You're the one who drives this show forward.
Starting point is 00:33:54 I just seem to get the Tiz. If I was actually, if you're just a straight TV house, you must be one of the hardest people to bring back on, because I wasn't the anchor of my own radio show. I understand how difficult it is now where I'm like, what are we doing? We're talking about John Ham's cock. Well, this is, okay, so if Tommy Lee from Motley crew cut his cock off, we've all seen that cock, right? You've seen that cock. I've seen that. Yeah, but you've seen it.
Starting point is 00:34:20 I met him once ages ago, and I wanted to ask him about it all. pull it out of that. But you've seen that clock. If he was to go at 60 something years of age or whatever he is now and just go, oh, I've always been a woman, cut that thing off, dig a hole. That would do so much for the trans movement. If I do it, that would do nothing for the trans movement. They go, that guy had nothing to lose.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Yes, they basically, they sanded it down a nub. Yeah, they stand it. They just poked it in like bubble wrap. All right. Here's the next topic. Lindsay Clancy, do you know what this is? I know a little bit about this, yes. I am just coming to terms of it right now.
Starting point is 00:35:04 So it's becoming a phenomenon. Lindsay Clancy is a mother who had postnatal and strangled her kids to death. Am I speaking out of turn here? Yes. This is correct? If my mother knew that was an option, this podcast wouldn't be happening right now. I'll read your story. If she knew you're allowed to kill your children and get sympathy,
Starting point is 00:35:21 my mother would have killed this long time ago. She would have done it on a deathbed. Lindsay Clancy's trial has gripped women and mothers across the country, but not for the reasons I expected, especially as a mother myself. This is a column from the USA today. The morbid interest in this case is obvious. Clancy is on trial for strangling her three children, five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson,
Starting point is 00:35:42 and eight-month-old Callan with exercise bans at their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts. So the 36-year-old mother has admitted to killing the kids. Probably the first time those things were used in a while. So the trial isn't about whether she did it, but her level of legal responsibility. Her defense attorney, Kevin Redington, has argued she's not guilty by reasons of insanity. Clancy suffered from undiagnosed bipolar disorder
Starting point is 00:36:05 and a psychotic brought about by postpartum psychosis. Now, if this was to actually go ahead, these are shocking scenes to me legitimately seeing these women dressed as pink out the front of the courthouse in support of a mother who has strangled her three children. I mean, where are we at now? Imagine saying that, yes,
Starting point is 00:36:24 you are not culpable because you had postpartum, so you could go on a spree of murdering your kids. We had that bloke, I believe it was near Colorado or something of that, and he put his two daughters into oil barrels, and he killed them because he wanted to run off with his mistress. I don't remember a group of men standing out the front going, yeah, he was tired of fucking his wife, but we've all been there.
Starting point is 00:36:46 We've all been there. So, you know, this is what happens when you live in a world where every, no one has any culpability, because we're all just brain chemicals. And so this notion of free will has been eroded away where it's like, well, no one actually, no one is actually responsible for their crimes. We are just, we are victims of the hormones
Starting point is 00:37:04 that sadly run through our body. And some of us have a disorder where we're flooded with mental illness because our hormones and synapses are all fucked up. So it wasn't, we didn't mean it. Well, yeah, everyone who commits murders has something fucking wrong with them. Exactly. Like Jeffrey Dahmer wasn't insane. They claimed he wasn't insane and he knew what he was doing.
Starting point is 00:37:25 He was eating these people afterwards, keeping him and having sex with the corpses afterwards. And we're just going like that. Completely normal fella who was just evil. This woman, oh, she was pushed to a little. But watching these women protest and support her, it's like, look, man, you can say mothers need help with postpartum. Yeah. When you strangle through, hey, I'll give you a strangling one kid. But by the time you strangle the first and move on to the next two,
Starting point is 00:37:52 Is that what we're, you know, Like if she had true postpartum depression, she could have killed two of the kids, she could have killed two of the kids and gone, I can take care of one. One I can do. It was just getting too unbearable with all three of them all the time. I can't believe this is a real.
Starting point is 00:38:08 This feels like something that a right-wing conspiracy theorists would come up with. These mothers, they love abortion so much. They're now campaigning to be able to kill the kids at five because they're in a bad mood. I've read that a lot. This is the left trying to make abortions go even further past birth. But that's what it feels like. I know, but I don't. I'm pro choice.
Starting point is 00:38:27 My choice is to strangle these little cunts with exercise bands because I'm feeling a bit down at the moment. You think it's all left-wing people who are doing this? Because postpartum depression goes across political borders. Yeah, but I've got a feeling that the women that are standing there and their, you know, pussy power pink shirts. Yes. Yes. You know, because they're all saying the mother was out of her mind. We can't throw her in prison for this.
Starting point is 00:38:51 There's women every. So we want a landmark decision now to, as precedent that if you've got postpartum, you're not responsible for killing your kids. And so you get to go to a mental home where they'll just fucking douse you in drugs, so you just numb all the time. That's all that woman ever wanted from the sounds of it. I've never been, so I'm reading a story right now. What does the husband feel about the whole thing?
Starting point is 00:39:13 Has anyone, has anyone cared to check on the dad or dads? I don't know what's the thing there. I'm reading lots of stories right now on the internet of, this divorce attorney says he's already had multiple male clients requesting to use their wife's public support of Lindsay Clancy in custody battles. So there's a bunch of people saying I have to divorce my partner because if she's going to support this, I don't want to have fucking kids with her. So let's do the robot race that happened.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I saw the robot race. We can't watch clips anymore because we're on Facebook. Everyone, everyone. Yeah, good work, Amos. Well done. So everyone's seen it. In China, they're having the world robot competitions, even though 95% of the companies are also Chinese. And they had a robot that was racing against two other robots.
Starting point is 00:40:01 And it beat Usain Bolt's record. We now have robots that can run faster than people. But we already did that with cars. Cars are way faster. They're way faster. And you know what they can do that robots can't do? Robots can't seem to break. They go through the 100 meters and they keep on running until they smash.
Starting point is 00:40:21 a wall and terrorise people. They did have to have, they put a soft barrier because they ran straight into the barrier. But there's no doubt you can look at it right now and see that they will be like arming those and the next ground invasion. Like the next ground invasion when that comes
Starting point is 00:40:37 will probably be those bots with flame throwers on them. The droids from a phantom menace. Yeah, those battle droids. Yeah, they're on its way. And also this is just each year, from last year to this year, year they could only have ones walking down the aisle and they weren't straight and they were
Starting point is 00:40:55 sort of stumbling around around around around now we've got ones that can bolt really quickly we're two of them boxing each other that was brilliant did you watch the ones boxing that's brilliant right where i reckon we're five years away from them being like really really really fucking good i'm not an early adopter of technology so i'm not going to buy like imagine if you sunk or your money into the model three thinking oh they won't get better than this and then you start fucking it. And then your mates bought one two years later that just looks like a woman. And you're like, ah, you're going to have to put this in a suitcase and throw it in a ravine in Sydney. Well, given we can't do that story, then let's finish.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Yeah, what was wrong with weeks? No, I wanted to play the, I wanted to play the video. It's fine. I just thought we'd get some clips out there to lighten the mood off the back of Strangle, Strangle, Stangle. We'll add a clip to the woman who killed her three children. It's going to be great. you're going to want a robot nanny in the future to protect your kids from your wife who's strung out on some pills from Pfizer. Other brands are available. Okay, so the last story, which is a bit of fun, is about Pablo Pledgekabar.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Have you heard about this fellow? I've heard vaguely about this. This is a fraternity cocaine ring. This is a fraternity from Penn State. 13 Penn State fraternity brothers have been charged with running a major cocaine trafficking ring with some pledges allegedly forced to cut and package the Coke as part of their indoctrination for the rush week.
Starting point is 00:42:28 So imagine you just got out of high school, you're joining a frat at Penn. And usually, because my brother-in-law joined a frat at USC two years ago, and he was in L.A. He came to, he's from Chicago. He came to L.A. We were living in L.A. at the time. He came over to our house once, basically with pneumonia, because in order to get into the fraternity,
Starting point is 00:42:49 he had to, with 20 other blokes, go to the beach off Malibu, completely naked for eight hours in the water. And dive down and gets these parcels of white bricks. So that was what his pledge was, was some kind of Marines type training in order to get in. But imagine you're a 17-year-old kid from, I don't know, somewhere you've come from. Indiana? What happens to the fat pledges? How many of the fat pledges? They can't stay out in the water that long.
Starting point is 00:43:20 What if you're fat and you're not a strong student? More buoyancy and insulation. It's far better, actually. Do you all think they're having a good time? Their heart is actually working really well right now. Trying to run blood throughout that entire body as they try to tread water. Yeah, they're warm. It's why women are better long distance as the men is because women are fatter than men,
Starting point is 00:43:38 which keeps them warmer and more buoyant. That's a fact. There's a sound bite. So, you know, hey ladies, you are good at some stuff. Makes them better at killing. So do you want to see the man who organized this? They're calling him Pablo. I can't because we can't play clips.
Starting point is 00:43:54 No, I can show you. Here he is. He's straight out of central casting. Look at him. Oh, my father made me go to university. I'm going to do some things. What's his name? All they've said is Pablo Pledge Cabar.
Starting point is 00:44:08 I'm sure I could find his real name. But he's running an entire. an entire racket at the university where he's using the young kids as cheap labor and then whipping the coke across the university. I've just got to say, how did that cunt get into the paternity to begin with? He looks like the kid out of Revenge of the Nerds. Also, I want to add this. I tried to show Revenge of the Nerds to my son the other day.
Starting point is 00:44:31 I thought I would find a comedy that I enjoyed from my childhood. You can only watch Revenge of the Nerds 2, 3 and 4. What's all that about? No streamers have Revenge of the word nerds won. Is it probably because they put a camera? camera in a girl's locker room and the guys are watching it. It's also probably because one of them put a Darth Vader mask on and raped the woman against her will.
Starting point is 00:44:50 That's another big. There's some bits at the end. And I wanted to shout to my 13 year old. Thank you. Thank you for giving me the answers I needed there. Yeah. We could probably end the podcast by saying, if you think the Sydney swans were bad for getting an extra spank, you should have seen nerds at college in the 1980s.
Starting point is 00:45:07 They were bugging women's locker rooms and having sex with masks, pretending to be someone else. And that was meant to be a light reveal. Like, it was actually someone else fucking her. It was a nerd, not a jock. He came in, yeah. Like, that was meant to be her boyfriend wearing a Darth Vader mask that sex.
Starting point is 00:45:25 She didn't notice that it was a different body, different cock, different everything. I'm just... You know what the truth is? We're currently living in revenge of the nerds. Are we? Like this is, yeah, all the nerds from Silicon Valley who dictate the entire planet right now,
Starting point is 00:45:39 Musk, Zuckerberg, fucking Sam Altman. This is Revenge of the Nerds as they totally turn our country into a techno-feudal oligarch hellscape. That's the movie. Good film. You don't need to watch Revenge of the Nerds. Watch the news.
Starting point is 00:45:56 We need Revenge of the Jocks. You remember in Revenge of the Nerds there was the African-American fellow who was gay, right? And so they had to have the big challenge. And because they knew engineering and stuff like that, they went, the next event is the javelin throw. but because he has such a limp wrist if we make the javelin out of rubber the way that he prances
Starting point is 00:46:17 and when he throws it it will go so much further than anyone else. We've calculated the limpness of the wrist next to the thing. What a wonderful movie. I was saying, you've got to check this film out. It's really funny,
Starting point is 00:46:32 but I think 13's too young for Revenge of the Nerds now. I thought it was going to be an easy watch and now I've remembered everything. I'm like, it seems to be a hateful Rapefest. If you're listening to this, things got weird and we've decided to have a new ending to the podcast. Jim, this is what's happening at this moment. I have to go now. I no longer have kids. Sorry, everyone. We don't have a Patreon either. So there's no way you'll ever hear that.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Maybe you'll sidle up to us into a bar and go, what were your real views on many of those news stories from the 25th of August? And if you give us $50, we'll tell it to you. Oh, we'll need it. But don't keep pressing for more. When we say one story, leave it at one story. Also, I want to add, every time I do a meet and greet where I take photos with people afterwards, I get slapped on the ass against my will. This is not once, this is not twice.
Starting point is 00:47:26 It happens from men and women. And the amount of times my cock has been grabbed in a meet and greet 15, 20 times, quite a lot. All right, well, that's what's going on at this moment. Jim, we might as well. I'm sure we'll put it at the top. Just saying that no one lost their crew. careers over it. Are we on the road? As we finish the podcast, I'm sure we would have done it
Starting point is 00:47:45 at the top, but it's worth, if anyone's listening this far to say, again, go to both our websites, Jim Jeffries.com. Windsor, go to me in Windsor, Ontario. Come and see me in Vancouver, Calgary, Tacoma and Washington, D.C. I miss America so much. I can't wait to be back with you, my loves. My sweet loves. And Canada, well, and I love you too, but not if you don't buy some tickets in fucking Calgary. It's starting to get pretty grim over there. I love Canada. No problems with me in Canada. Trump wants to make Canada. He said once they're made a state, things are going to be it better. So hopefully by next week. All right. See everybody.
