Welcome to IHIP News. Today we have a potpourri of heading into Trump's America. First and foremost, Jack Smith's report just dropped. And of course, it reveals what everybody knows is that he would have been convicted for his attempted coup and for hoarding classified documents. This is what makes me so angry. And I'm only about halfway through reading the full report that we wasted so much time. President-elect Trump could be and should be incarcerated had Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith immediately, because Jack Smith was quick. He did a really good job of moving this case quickly, but he was two years too late to the start. And it just, it's infuriating. Well, and the Supreme Court, who, when they want to, can move at light speed, sat on a lot of this. And then, of course, you have the federal judge, Aileen Cannon, who meddled with it as best she could.

I think it's just so disheartening that so many people surrounding Trump have zero conviction. That has been my takeaway from everything about Trumpism is people that do not have conviction that can say one thing to somebody and then turn around and their actions are completely different. That to me is now a disqualifying thing to be a friend, to be an acquaintance, and definitely to be a politician. Have some conviction. It's not that hard. Do and say what you believe and do it forever. We're sitting right here in a red state that is a MAGA hellscape. And we do not relent. And we get on these mics every single day and say exactly how we feel and question all of this, these abuses of power. Well, not only is it a lack of conviction, it's just straight up lying. The Supreme Court justices

that were appointed during Trump's administration, they lied. It's not a matter of conviction. They flat ass lied. And then you have Merrick Garland, who was so worried about appearing political that he fucked the whole country. And it's just, it's infuriating. What amazes me is it's so easy to box MAGA into low IQ, low information in a cult. But then as you see educated people in positions of power, you realize that it's not just the dumb people. It's not just the low information voters. It is the highly educated, power hungry, without ethics or morals. Or conviction. Or conviction. It's conviction. When you lie,

that is because you don't have conviction to tell the truth about how you really feel. All of those Supreme Court justices, when they were called in front of Congress, should have said, yeah, I want to overturn Roe v. Wade because I believe that abortion is immoral. But they don't. They have no conviction whatsoever. And, you know, we had Eric Swalwell on an episode that dropped this morning, and he said Marjorie Taylor Greene, she's that crazy all the time. She has conviction in her crazy. And it's just the moral duplicity of people that is the most grotesque in my personal life. And then when you get into the political spectrum, it is ubiquitous and unrelenting, especially when it comes to MAGA. A person

on the left that has conviction is Bernie Sanders. Always. He has beaten that drum about economic socialism and economic populism for the longest time to try to help the least fortunate and just to help working class people be able to unionize and get larger wages. All of MAGA, every single ounce of it at the top is about consolidating wealth and the accumulation of wealth in the 1%. But then you have all of these fleabags that clamor on. And I want to play for you. And when I talk about these flea bags, I'm talking

about a lot of these Christian nationalists. I want to play for you. This is in a huge mega church and here is a Christian nationalist pastor named Jack Hibbs. Karen Bass should be removed from office today. She should be thankful that John Adams or Samuel Adams, George Washington or John Hancock are not in power right now because she would be arrested for dereliction of duty, which costs people their lives, and she would be hung, which cost people their lives. And she would be hung according to our colonial fathers.

So MAGA allows for this type of space. You have the consolidation of wealth at the top, the people that you say that are highly educated, that know exactly what they're doing and have zero conviction when it comes to always being consistent in their language. They manipulate everything so that they can consolidate power. These people right here have oxygen and there's a place in the MAGA tent for them. He just said that a black female mayor would be arrested and hung. And he's saying that in a MAGA church that is not taxed. And nobody in MAGA has the balls to call this out. It is grotesque.

It is disgusting. And the racism that exists in white Christians, and we live all around it, is a cancer. Black people feel it every single day, but until white people start talking about it as well, it will continue to get this type of oxygen. And it's so immoral and disgusting. The first thing I thought was, tax that motherfucker. He should be taxed. He is engaging in political speech and conduct. Okay. And then MAGA also allows space for anti-science. And I spoke a lot about earlier about Marjorie Taylor Greene having conviction. And she goes on X all the time.

And she gets community notice nonstop. But she doesn't relent. She believes that the Democrats control the weather and she tweets it and puts it on X and goes 24 seven. She goes hard in the paint. So in response to the California fires, we have the far right preacher wanting to hang the mayor and arrest her and then hang her. And then we have Marjorie Taylor Greene, who gets on X and says, why don't they use geoengineering like cloud seeding to bring rain down in the wildfires in California? They know how to do it.

She is detached from reality. I mean, she is truly detached from reality. I mean, she is truly detached from reality. She believes that you can control the weather. She's just so dumb. It's unbelievable that she's a representative in Congress. It really is. fascinating to me that so many people embrace lies and conspiracy theories and this notion that they are smarter than the experts like Marjorie Taylor Greene here. She probably read some wonky, crazy article, wacky, crazy article that said that Democrats were controlling the weather.

Now, this is she's a religious nut, right? She is a full blown religious nut. So in her worldview, God would control the weather. But then in her crazy logic, she trumps God and says the Democrats are more powerful than God. And they just live in this chaotic, crazy world where they believe all of these crazy things all at one time. God is, you know, the ruler, the leader, the controller of everything, but also the Democrats

could fix and put out the fires. It's insanity. And she is so embarrassing. I picture like in an alternate universe that I would be watching the news. And then you would see a Marjorie Taylor Greene, but she would be a leader in a different country that education wasn't embraced. And then I realized, oh, we don't embrace education anymore. And this is the lens that Europeans, Australians, and other countries are looking at the United States. We're the dumbasses.

Oh, there's no question. And I think, like, if she is this crazy and uneducated, well, I'm not going to say she's uneducated because I think she's educated. She's just detached from reality, a conspiracy theorist. Who are the people that voted for her? Like if you think she's bad, imagine her constituents. That's what I think. Like there's a whole sect that is her constituency that is just completely detached from reality that sits around and talks about Jewish space lasers and Democrats controlling the weather, and they believe it. But I think where I really realized that people, we were in a post-fact world, A, when Kellyanne Conway said alternate facts,

that's when it was like, oh God, they're going to go there. But then all this, you know, the Facebook hospitals around COVID, I'm not going to put it in. I'm not going to take the vaccine, despite what the science says. I'm going to die on my convictions. Like that's when I really realized people don't want to know the facts. They either don't know, don't care or don't want to know. WMD lie. Absolutely. I mean, I absolutely knew right then and there, like this is such bullshit. And I think people that are probably 10 years older than me knew it when Reagan started all of the trickle down economic bullshit. And so it, this didn't just happen with Trumpism. All of, there was a setting, a landscape that was drafted a long time ago and probably starting with the 1950s when they started putting religion back into government. And they have played this long game with this. And religious people fall prey to racism very easily because it's kind of cooked in the books as we referenced by that mega church pastor.

And look at Marjorie Taylor Greene. I mean, she just believes crazy shit. But then again, if you believe in a talking snake and you think that Jonah lived in a whale for three days and a virgin birth and you believe all these magical things, it's not that big of a jump then to then just start adding on crazy shit all the time. And so I don't know what the path is long-term out of this, but I do think a lot of everything that's going on right now, the one little glimmer of hope that I have is we see the Jack Smith report and so many of these people, these tech bros that are going all chips in, here's a million dollars for your inauguration. They're being very short-sighted and they're playing the short game because that's going to be on the record for them forever. And the American public, once Trump is in

office and he starts doing crazy shit and saying crazy shit, he's not going to be that popular, especially with what he's talking about right now. It's not going to lower the price of eggs. Yeah, he's probably going to satisfy all of the racists because he's going to create some sleekly produced video of him, you know, deporting people. And the people that like that, that where the cruelty is the point for them, they're going to love it. They're going to think it's great. But past Trumpism, all of these people that are going to kiss the ring, there's a record of it forever, and it's not going to be us. No, but here's the thing. By the time they're being judged for that, don't they have so much power in the oligarchy and so much money, they don't give a shit? Will

there be a day of reckoning for them after they've consolidated all this power, and so much money, they don't give a shit? Will there be a day of reckoning for them after they've consolidated all this power, spent all this money, taken all of the money that is up for grabs under the Trump administration? Do you think they'll care? I think at some point there is a reckoning with, you know, look at the French Revolution. I mean, there's at some point, this is not sustainable. It is, you know, Trump's not a spring chicken. Vladimir Putin's not a spring chicken. Elon Musk is rumored to be a massive drug addict. And I just, I think at some point, the truth always perseveres. It might not be our lifetime, but all of these people are in the permanent record, kissing the ring. Their companies are going to probably be so compromised at some point.

And recorded history will prove how dangerous all of this bullshit is and how they ruined a perfectly good country that was trying to progress and reconcile our racist roots, income inequality. And there's one consistent through line that always threw the grenade right in it. And it was the Republican Party. Always. They have never given a shit about working people. They just absolutely lie. There is no such thing as truth in MAGA. There just isn't. All right.
