I mean, they are out having to defend safe, red states, very safe, like Trump plus 20 districts. It is a bloodbath. But, you know, Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:00:44 loves to cheat. He loves it. He, you know, bankrupts casinos, cheats on his taxes, cheats on his wife, started an insurrection that tried to kill his vice president, cheater, loser, cheater. So Time Magazine interviewed him. And Trump was asked in the interview, if he will invoke the Insurrection Act ahead of the midterms. Pop this up. Time, would you rule out declaring a state of emergency in the lead-up to the midterms unless there's widespread violence in the streets? Trump, I don't rule anything out or in.
Starting point is 00:01:18 We'll see. You mean the Insurrection Act? Time says, yeah. Trump says, no, I've never used it. I could use it. A lot of people think I should use it sometimes. that's always such a tell with him. Everybody says and a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Josh, what do you think if he tried to use this? What do you think the Supreme Court would do? Well, number one, what is he going to use it for? I mean, do we know? Is there an articulated reason that he would invoke the Insurrection Act? I think that's why he didn't last time is because there's no legitimate basis for it. You know, what would the Supreme Court do? I mean, you know, I hate to be put in that position.
Starting point is 00:02:00 of having any faith that they would try to restore some sense of order to this country, some sense of decency to this democracy or what's left of this democracy. So I don't know. You know, I think Clarence Thomas's wife, wasn't she a one-sixter? Yeah, planner, an organizer. Yeah. So, I mean, I don't have a lot of faith over there. Could we maybe get six of them in our favor?
Starting point is 00:02:24 Maybe just to keep the country going to just from sheer tyranny. and destruction. I mean, I would think, but shit, I don't know. These guys are so crazy that maybe that's what they want. Maybe everybody wants this thing just to blow up. Because, I mean, that's where the tension in this thing is headed, right? Because there is a blue tsunami coming.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Everybody knows it. Even on the Republican side, they know it. You have Kim Paxton talking about, you know, Trump comes here and my poll number, you know, get away, get away, get away. And so it's coming. the question is, what are they going to do? Are they going to accept their loss, accept their ass kicking, or are they going to cheat, like you suggested? Is Donald Trump going to cheat?
Starting point is 00:03:05 Is he going to be a whiner, a baby? Of course he is. And fight and cheat. And that's what I suspect they're going to do. So we need to be ready. All right. So this is just turned out, the clip I'm about to play for you, this is turned out to be a Wednesday in America. We used to have presidents on both sides, Republican and Democratic.
Starting point is 00:03:27 that used words about war and nuclear destruction very scarcely. Donald Trump, it's just a Wednesday. And then tonight on True Social, there could be a bunch of shit about it that he and the bunny boiler cookup. But let's play the clip. It is incredible. The job they've done. Now I have to make a decision. They'll leave a very fair deal. They won't exist any longer. Thank you very much. Here's what scares me about this. this is about the seventh time that he has threatened nuclear holocaust on Iran and Trump oftentimes starts broadcasting what he's thinking about doing and I think he's dying to do something crazy
Starting point is 00:04:11 like this I do I think he's done he knows he can do it he knows he has the power to do it and I think he's kind of in his fuck it era and I think you've got benjamin net and yahoo over here that's just chomping at the bit for him to do something like this. And shame on that Republicans, shame on Mike Johnson for sending Congress home when they were going to impeach Pete Hegeseth. Shame on these people for putting everybody in the hands of this unhinged madman who threatens nuclear war once or twice a week. And how does this happen? How you couldn't write a script up to where every other responsible person who's supposed to create some check on this president, on this man, has wholly failed their responsibilities and their duties.
Starting point is 00:05:02 I mean, how many men can be complicit? How many members of Congress, of Senate? How many people that are corrupt can you confirm over and over based on his word? How many, you just see this cycle over and over the Supreme Court, all of it together. And it just reminds you just reminds you me of what that lawyer said, one of Trump's former lawyers said that the Constitution just simply wasn't created with someone as depraved as Donald Trump in mind. It just wasn't. And he's right. He's he's truthful about that. Well, let's shift gears a bit here. And we can't forget all of the people that this government, this regime, is murdering. And one of whom we all saw, unfortunately, live on television. Renee Good, pop this up.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. While others follow the noise, we follow the money. Learn more at Bloomberg.com. Just in, Renee Good's partner and family have filed two lawsuits stemming from her death, one aimed at ICE agent who shot her and, several senior Trump administration officials, the other aimed at the federal government itself. Kylie, pop up the next slide.
Starting point is 00:06:26 And in this lawsuit, the plaintiffs name Jonathan Ross, Stephen Miller, Christy Noem, Corey Lewandowski, Tom Homan, Todd Lyons, Greg Bevino, and John Doe federal agents, they named them individually. as well. Josh, unpack this for the layman. Tell us what's going on with this lawsuit. So there are two different lawsuits that were filed. The first one was brought by the estate of Renee Good, which is her brother. And it's Gangor v. United States. And I believe her partner, Becca Good, has also filed several claims. And it's an action against the federal government for various torts that they allege were committed upon Renee's murder on that particular day. So the suits brought underneath the wrongful death statute in the state of Minnesota.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Under the Federal Tort Claims Act, individuals can sue federal agents who commit torts against them using the Minnesota state law. She alleges assault and battery, false imprisonment. I believe Becca Good also claims various tourists in the lawsuit. And it's, you read this throughout the lawsuit. You know, there's been no investigation about this case. In the family, you can just read the suffering that they're having to go through, that they didn't even have the decency to order someone to investigate this case.
Starting point is 00:08:06 So that's the first lawsuit. Let me try to unpack the second lawsuit. it's about 150 pages, but it was brought under, as you mentioned, it named seven individuals and they're sued in their individual capacity. And it's again brought by Renee Goods Estate, her brother, who was appointed trustee of her estate. And it's brought, ironically, under the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act. And they allege a conspiracy in this case. And the conspiracy is against Bross, who was the shooter, who killed Renee Good, murdered her, Stephen Miller, Christy Noem, Corey Lewandowski, Tom Homan, Todd Lyons, and Greg Bovino.
Starting point is 00:08:47 And it claims that the surge that they talk about was built on a bunch of debunked stories about Somali fraud, including a viral YouTube video to target Somali and Latino Minnesotans. And so it's a conspiracy, basically, alleging that these individuals, conspired together to deny a group of equal rights under their law, and those, that group would be the Somalis and the Latinos that are citizens of Minnesota. And so, and it goes in depth further. It alleges against each one individually. It says that it alleges Miller ran daily calls. He set arrest quotas, and he ordered agents to force confrontations with people watching and protesting. And it says that Christy Noem set the policies that let agents wear mask and hide their license plates,
Starting point is 00:09:40 says that Lyons was warned in writing about racial profiling a month before the shooting, and he did nothing. It says that Greg Bovino came to Minnesota, came to Minneapolis after a Chicago judge found he had been lying about his use of force. And according to the lawsuit, fewer than 3% of the people arrested were Somali. the family is seeking punitive damages in a jury trial and in their individual capacities. You can seek punitive damages, unlike under the Federal Tort Claims Act. And they list that the lawsuit goes in great detail and list an enormous amount of statistics. For example, it says that according to the complaint, the arrest data showed that of the 3,500 people that were arrested in this surge, in this matter in Minnesota during the months of December and January,
Starting point is 00:10:37 that only 106 were Somali and only two were deported to Somalia. Just think about that. It also says that Lewandowski, as a private co-conspirator, alleges that he ran operations past the legal time limit on his temporary federal role. And if you remember, he always had this weird title. You know, what did he do? an assistant or something because he was banging christie no exactly but these these lawsuits are somewhat complex this this lawsuit that we were just talking about it's 150 pages
Starting point is 00:11:12 i mean it's it's thick uh but it's jump in and ask a couple of questions for the layman thank you for explaining all of that to us um so now that they're named individually do they have to get private attorneys or since they are government employees will the united states government provide an attorney for them? I think either or. I think either that. And then as it pertains to Stephen Miller and all of the others listed, but let's just say hypothetically here, Stephen Miller.
Starting point is 00:11:45 So he's going to be called in for subpoenas and all of these depositions and things like that. Assuming they can prove the allegations set forth in the complaint and it moves forward. And trying to sue the federal government is very difficult. It is. You have a lot of barriers and a lot of hurdles that you have to meet, and the law is somewhat complex to do that. But assuming that this thing proceeded forward, that it didn't get kicked out on a motion for summary judgment, or if it wasn't dismissed based on a 12b-6 motion, then at some point in time, he would be deposed, that there would be a discovery phase of this proceeding, and all the parties would be subject to having their depositions taken, having to respond to written discovery,
Starting point is 00:12:28 interrogatories, requests for admissions, things like that. So yes, they're all going to have to get lawyers. Some may be within the government, some may be private counsel. Yeah, I would imagine those depositions once you get to like Kristyneum and Corey Lewandowski, you know, because they were, they're having an affair. Christine Nome's husband, Big Titty Brian. I mean, I don't want to make light because Renee Good, we all saw her murdered and the what he, the officer called her a fucking
Starting point is 00:12:58 bitch. A sweet, you know, good Samaritan doctor tried to offer her life-saving assistance as she lie there on the freezing cold. And ice wouldn't let them. These people are monsters, they're animals, they're murderers. But, you know, go ahead. Well, the painful part of this, and, and again, I said this earlier, but the family, can you imagine someone in your family executed, you know, just murdered? By your government. By your government. And then they make you out to be a terrorist. And then they decide that there should be no investigation of this. It doesn't even warrant an investigation in the loss that you would feel by this country that we live in. I mean, you feel that when you read this lawsuit, how barbaric, how evil this government is.
Starting point is 00:13:44 And you hope that these lawyers can bring some justice to this family because the government's not going to give it to them. It's not. And that's the sad part to me for all of these people that are victims of the government. and I see it, you know, on a day-in-day-out basis in court, too. It's tragic. It's so tragic. It is such a, I mean, we're living in this moment in living history, and we watched these murders, our government murder people and then call the murder victims who were trying
Starting point is 00:14:17 to help immigrants, you know, who are doing like the kindest thing that you can do monitoring to make sure these people weren't abused. And they use their white privilege to, to, you know, get in the way and say, hey, don't, you know, don't mess with these people. But this is the Mike Pence lesson. The thing about these MAGA people, they're so depraved. Their first preference in people they like to bully are, of course, brown-skinned people and gay people. But white people are on the chopping block, too. And I hope if there's any lesson in these horrific murders for the white community that elected Donald Trump, you know, Donald Trump wouldn't be president twice
Starting point is 00:14:53 without white people. I mean, that's, that's his base. that this is a wake-up call that, you know, Renee Goetz mother voted for Donald Trump and her daughter's dead because of Donald Trump. And there's a lot of people that are dead because of Donald Trump or because Donald Trump appointed Elon Musk to be the head of Doge. And, you know, there's the Latinos for Trump, the lady who did the salsa dancing in Miami. I will vote for Donald Trump. Then all our relatives start getting deported. Nobody is safe under this regime. And so this is, thank you for breaking that down.
Starting point is 00:15:27 We need to keep an eye on this. But make sure you like and subscribe to our channel. Josh is going to keep an eye on all of this. I imagine that after the midterms, there's going to be a lot of legal, hopefully, investigations into all of these people. And I just want to say, as far as ICE goes, I want them removed, abolished, and prosecuted. I want all of the people listed in this lawsuit civilly. I want them all prosecuted criminally. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:54 That's all we have. We'll be back later with more news.
