Welcome to IHIP News.
Pumps, what you got?
Well, as we heard, Matt Gaetz, the despicable Matt Gaetz with the bad Botox and large forehead,
is now Trump's nominee for attorney general.
He's been under ethics inquiries.
He's been under DOJ inquiries.
And so I thought we'd take a look at one of the most Republican senators in the country who hails from our great state, Booster Box, Mark Wayne Mullins.
And this was some time ago what he said about Matt Gaetz.
You got to think about this guy.
This is a guy that didn't have that the media didn't give a time of day to after he
was accused of sleeping with an underage girl. There's a reason why no one in the conference
came and defended him because we had all seen the videos he was showing on the house floor that all
of us had walked away of the girls that he had slept with. He'd brag about how he would crush
ED medicine and chase it with an energy drink so he could go all night. This is obviously
before he got married. And so when that accusation came out, no one defended him. And then no one on
the media would give him a time of the day. All of a sudden, he found fame because he opposed
the Speaker of the House back in November. And he's always stayed there. And he was never going
to leave until he got this last moment of fame by saying by by going after a motion to vacate.
OK, so that is Trump's pick for attorney general parading around his sex videos, talking about his erectile dysfunction medicine, which this should not surprise us because you look at the president elect and his illustrious history with sexual abuse allegations.
So Mark Wayne Mullins again came out regarding Matt Gaetz as we now are talking about confirming
him for the attorney general position. The ethics committee was about to release the findings of
its investigation into allegations of misconduct by former Congressman Gates.
Of course, he abruptly resigned before that could happen.
A number of your colleagues, including members of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
have said they would like to see that report.
Should the House Ethics Committee release that report, Senator?
Absolutely. And I believe the Senate should have access to that.
Now, should it be released to the public or not? I guess that will be part of the negotiations, but that should be definitely part of our decision making. Once again, I go back to it in Article 2, Section 2 in the Constitution, the Senate has to advise and consent these individuals. And in that process, we're going to give Matt Gaetz the same chances we'll give all President Trump's nominees.
So we have Matt Gaetz, who is under an ethics investigation, who resigned from the U.S.
House of Representatives to preclude people from viewing his ethics report.
And do you know who his staunchest supporter in the House is to keep the ethics report private? Any guesses?
I'm sure it's Moses Mike.
Moses Mike, the guy who has the purity culture and Bible, and he's such a Christian and family values. He is his biggest proponent. And hypocrisy is gross. I mean, none of this is surprising. This is the country has told
these politicians that none of this is disqualifying. Trump ran that he was going to
turn the Justice Department into a department of retribution. The focus of the Trump administration is to focus on people who don't like transparency, who call out the president.
And they campaigned on this.
Right.
And they won on this.
So the only thing I'm going to say about Matt Gaetz is that he's kind of like a frat boy.
He's not super bright.
And so, you know, the problem once we get through Matt Gaetz is what's behind that.
Who's on the bench? Because if it's an evil, smart person, Matt Gaetz is disgusting as he is.
His incompetence and his narcissism will be some sort of a makeshift guardrail because behind that are really evil sociopaths that are chomping at the bit to get to the epicenter of the Trump
administration to carry out Putin's dreams of making America tear itself up from the inside
out. And he never has to spend a dime on it other than his little troll farm and paying off some
congressmen and senators and blackmailing the president. Right. And Trump's all in on all that.
What I also found interesting on Fox News this weekend was Trey Gowdy, who is a Republican, talking about Matt Gaetz.
Yeah, the overwhelming majority of his picks will sail through because they were grand slam picks.
But to Molly's point, you don't root out corruption at the Department of Justice by picking a corrupt person to lead it. So Matt Gaetz, either the report comes out and he's not going to be the attorney general
or the report doesn't come out and he's not going to be the attorney general.
My problem here is, of course, a corrupt president picks a corrupt attorney general.
The American public voted for a convicted felon. I mean,
then after January 6th, I mean, this is what the country voted for. So I'm not going to sit here
and pearl clutch because this is exactly what they said they were going to do. There's no
difference morally between Donald Trump and Matt Gaetz. I mean, they're, of course, they're friends.
They make each other feel normal in their dysfunction.
I think the larger problem here is you can see where Trump's focus is.
He doesn't really care about, you know, diplomacy.
He picks Marco Rubio.
He's like, he could give two shits about American diplomacy. His two most controversial
picks are the two most obsequious loyalists that he can possibly get. And that's the Fox News guy,
who's also accused of SA. And then we have Matt Gaetz. These are the two areas that he wants to really, really thwart and take a blowtorch to the United States
of America, the Department of Justice, he wants the Attorney General to be his own personal lawyer.
And he wants the Department of Defense to be his own personal Gestapo. Why is he so fixated on the
Department of Defense? Because two decorated generals, and actually more than that, came out and spoke and called
him out for what a weak leader he is, called him out for his anti-military rhetoric and
insults.
He doesn't understand why anybody would serve in the military.
He himself is dodged military service.
So he wants both of these things to be the most loyal lapdogs that he can have, that he can walk
around on a leash. And then he's going to be on Twitter and true social the remainder of the time.
All of these other appointments, he doesn't care. He gave Putin Tulsi Gabbard. Right. You know, which then, you know, to all of these
people that voted for Donald Trump, you want to go on vacation, you want to go to Mexico for spring
break with your kids. Once we have a Russian agent in charge of the department, what is it, DNI?
Yes. That he appointed her to. Other countries are not going to share information with us,
which is then going to affect your passport.
The trickle down from this,
and I know some people are going to say,
well, I can't ever afford and blah, blah, blah.
Well, everybody fits into all of this.
Everybody gets fucked in the Trump administration.
Everybody except for Trump and a few people surrounding him.
And this is what the majority of this country voted
for, which exasperates me. I'm exasperated also. Just kind of touching on the Pete Hedgeseth
appointment. As you mentioned, he has confidential agreements and confidential settlements for
sexual abuse and harassment allegations, which why would we be surprised? That's everybody in Trump's inner circle.
But I've also heard that fellow military servicemen have been calling him, and I quote,
an insider threat to the military.
And that has something to do with his tattoos and that they're associated with white supremacy. So again, we've got Christian
nationalists, white supremacists, sexual abusers. That's Trump's leadership team. That's who he
wanted. That's who he handpicked because they are built in his image. Well, right. And this is,
these are the people that went to his rallies. And this is, I mean, this is the last nine to
10 years that he's cultivated the worst impulses
of American culture.
And, you know, you hear people saying, what's happening to young men?
Well, these young men came of age during the Trump era, and they have watched all of the
adults around them make excuses for this immoral behavior.
They've seen their grandparents do it.
They've seen their parents do it. They've seen peers do it. And there used to be a time where somebody behaved like
Donald Trump and it was unacceptable, certainly unacceptable to be president. So it's no mystery
why all of these young boys are now all of a sudden sexist. Well, they've grown up in the Trump era with
10 years of sexism front and center. It's no wonder that they're growing up worshiping
capitalism because everybody around them and their support system that helped mold them has told them
money matters more than treating people with dignity and respect. These are the consequences
of this election. And this is what everybody voted for. Not everybody. You know, there are tens of millions of us that didn't.
But his incompetence has been on display since he came down that escalator. It's really for
New Yorkers been on display for decades. That's why he doesn't carry his own home state. And
this is really the demise. I mean, we are living in the demise of the
American empire and the people that are ruining it are Americans and Republicans. Republicans used
to be a party of integrity and tried to at least feign decorum and a desire for a strong relationships with allies. All of that is gone.
And we're all just sitting here watching it. And then you hear people on the left say,
we need to sit down and talk to MAGA. No, when they win, when they lose, when they lost in 2020,
they didn't say, we need to sit down and talk to the left. They didn't say that. They didn't want
to talk to us. They said, fuck you. Let's go storm the Capitol and take a shit in it. So, I mean,
we have to quit trying to talk to them because they are where they are. Look at red state policies.
They are complete shit shows. Look at all the sexual abuse in churches. It's a disaster. Look at all of the moral hypocrisy
from the Christian right, the Marjorie Taylor Greene's, the Moses Mike's. You think they're
moral leaders? Come on. I mean, just own it. Just say we're pieces of shit and this is what we want
to do. But I can't do all the feigning that Moses might go through to talk
about his faith.
Shut up.
He has a walking advertisement for people to run away from Christianity.
If this is your leader and he's the guy, then you need to run because he is absolutely
despicable at everything he says.
He is being hypocritical.
He does not have a moral or ethical center, despite saying that he is Moses.
This is a guy that's eaten up, eaten up with gay sex.
His wife invested time and had a center for a pray the gay away type thing.
This is a man who monitors his teen's porn and then turn the teen monitors his.
This is a guy who put an engagement ring on his daughter's finger.
And I mean, the religious right has zero credibility.
Americans that lend them credibility have zero credibility.
This is hypocrisy in action.
It is a horrible shit show. And I think that the left needs to constantly point out
what an abject failure like Oklahoma is. Every single county went red. Look at our rankings.
Look at what happens when you have MAGA Republican super majorities. Go drive on our streets. Potholes. It's a mess. Education,
mess. Rogue school superintendent banging Trump, you know, thumping Trump Bibles around
on video camera, praying for Donald Trump and putting that into schools. And we're all supposed
to sit here like this is normal. It's not normal, but I guess it is to half of America. And I'm just
at a loss. Same. Total loss. All right, we'll see you guys tomorrow. It's so entertaining to have the
fame. So good.
