All right, welcome to IHIP News.
Let's talk about Jeffrey Epstein.
Let's talk about the president's proximity to Jeffrey Epstein.
Let's talk about little Moses Mike Grinder Johnson, whose number one goal as Speaker of the House
seems to be to protect sexual predators.
And here we have none other than our fierce fighter, Congressman Robert Garcia, Congressman
what's going on. We know that last week you released a bunch of information. I want you to tell us
about this information. And then I just want to browbeat Moses Mike Johnson and his abdication of power
and his protection of these pedophiles at the heart of this criminal case. Absolutely. Look,
we are obviously at an important point in this investigation.
We know that for Munch now, there's been a subpoena in place that the Oversight Committee put on all of the Epstein files.
And Donald Trump has been leading a White House cover-up to protect powerful men who, in some cases, as we know, were abusing and raping children.
So we should be very clear about what we're talking about here.
And these girls who are now women who are survivors of that abuse, all they want is the truth.
they want justice, and they want the men that did the horrors to them to be held accountable.
And that is our job as we move forward on this investigation and really the EFSI case.
Now, all that we've seen so far, whether it's been us, the Oversight Committee putting out the
birthday notebook that Donald Trump obviously drew, which was quite disturbing, whether it was
the emails that we saw a couple weeks ago, where they're talking about Donald Trump knowing
about the girls, whether it was the images that we put out just,
last week, pretty disturbing images of the Epstein estate and the home that we, a lot of these
images we've never seen before. That has all been because we have been pushing and getting these
documents and images, not from the Department of Justice, by the way, not from Pam Bondi,
who's supposed to be getting us documents, but we've been scrapping and fighting to get these
documents from other sources, the Epstein estate, talking to survivors, getting information from
from whistleblowers. And so that is going to continue. But at this moment, the Speaker of the House,
Mike Johnson, Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, and Donald Trump, the president, are all it appears
coordinating this cover-up to ensure that we don't get these files and that we don't hold these
powerful, in some cases, billionaires and wealthy men and maybe possibly foreign nations
accountable for the enormous amount of money that went into the sex trafficking ring and a good
justice for all these girls and survivors.
You put out a statement last week that you've received financial documents directly from
the financial institutions, and you were going to release those in time. How soon do you think
you'll be releasing that? And what does, what do those records show you to this point?
So here's what we know, and then I'll share with you a little about the records. What we know
is the survivors, the one thing they will all share.
And I've talked to 20, 25 of them, whether in groups or individually one-on-one in conversations.
The one thing they've all said is to follow the money.
They're all very aware that all of these powerful interests and men were essentially paying Jeffrey Epstein enormous amounts of money through these banks.
We also know there was apparently money laundry that was also happening.
of possible real estate transactions, all sorts of different criminal actions were happening
as part of kind of Jeffrey Epstein's broader network of crimes.
And so we know that these banks transferred enormous amounts of money to Epstein and his associates
and Galane Maxwell.
And so getting these records and understanding what were these shell companies that may
have been set up?
Who was actually sending the money?
Where was the money going?
is at the center of this investigation and the future.
And truly, if we're going to get and find out who did what,
it's going to be in these financial records.
And so we just received some documents from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
Now, to be clear, we have requested documents from over 20 banks.
Republicans have refused to join us in subpoena
and putting out subpoenas for these other 20 banks.
They have agreed to these two banks.
with the banks have sent us have been very limited in scope. So we've sent us some documents.
We expect to receive much more from these two banks in the near future, ideally, and hopefully
from all 20 of the banks. And so we hope that as soon as we go over and do this review,
it's very complex information. We have specialty folks that understand financing and finance
investigations involved right now. We want to put that out to the public as well. And so definitely
stay tuned on that. How much of this do you think you'll be able to get
out before the midterms.
You know, obviously, if you had a majority,
y'all can really go guns blazing with this thing.
But between now and 2026 November,
what is your estimation of how much of this that you can get released?
Because to me, the midterms in this are somewhat tied together.
This is the one thing that MAGA-based supporters were kind of all chips in
on this Jeffrey Epstein thing.
It's where MAGA really starts shedding support, and not only for justice and transparency
and exposing this criminal network does it need to be, but also at the heart of our democracy
in getting you guys the majority in the House to be able to stop the nonstop crimes that
are committed every day by this president, his cabinet, and then his little pipsqueat co-conspirator
Mike Johnson. It's just, okay, that's one question. Another thing, what's all this shit about
all the Republicans resigning? Like 20. Yeah. Give us the tea on all that. Yeah, I'll tell you what I'm
hearing. One is, as far as what we'll be able to get out, what I've told people is, you know,
when I got the lead position on the oversight committee, folks said, here, you're not going to be
able to get anything out. And since then, we have forced disclosure on birthday books, on emails,
on photos, on videos, on survivor stories,
and we've partnered with folks that have pushed to get information out.
And so I think we have in a few months, I think, forced some disclosure.
But it's going to take that much like fight and I think grit
and just clawing out more information over the next few months
because I'm not expecting that the White House,
regardless of what they decide to put out by the date of the Transparency Act
that we put out on the Epstein files,
I don't think they're going to be sending us information that's going to be essentially put in place accountability for all of Donald Trump's billionaire friends and Jeffrey Epstein's network.
I don't think that's going to happen.
I do think they're going to put something out, but it's likely most of that will be public information already.
And so we've got to ensure that once we next year, once we're in that cycle that we remind those MAGA voters that Donald Trump betrayed his base, that Republicans and Mike Johnson, members of Congress, are betraying the.
own constituents by not actually doing anything to get disclosure and transparency in the files.
And we're going to continue to push. You're absolutely right. People on the ground, when I go
back home, yes, they ask you about health care, but they're also asking me about the EPSC files.
And one thing that people need to understand is there are millions and millions of young
girls and women that are watching what their government is doing right now and asking themselves
if something happens to me, is my government going to turn their backs and not go after the
predators that rape me or harm me or abused me. And so this is more than just about justice for
these survivors. It is about ensuring that the millions of women and girls across this country
know that their government is going to turn their backs on them. As it relates to these Republicans
that are resigning, I mean, look, I am also hearing, or I'm in D.C. right now, people first,
don't like the speaker. They think he's ineffective, which he is. He's, you know, he's backstabbed
a lot of his members of his own conference, which he has. And they see the writing on the wall.
They don't have power.
Everything's controlled out of the White House.
Mike Johnson does whatever he wants.
And I think they're seeing the writing on the wall that the American public is churning on them.
And they're finally realizing that what they're doing is it has nothing to do with affordability.
Prices for groceries are up.
Prices for homes are up.
Everything is going up.
Nothing's actually coming down.
The terrorists are still causing havoc.
And so Republicans are jumping ship.
And we welcome them.
Keep resigning.
The more, the better.
Do it now.
do it today no i agree i completely agree and i think that uh mike johnson will go down in history
if i were to make a list of the most worthless americans right now and i mean this sincerely
it sounds funny but i mean it sincerely number one would be mike johnson we have we can ask the
six graders about the three branches of government and the sixth graders would all say
that moses mike has all this power and he abdicates it all the time to
this president. And the grossest part about this man is he goes into MAGA culture in red states
and he lies to these people and he uses their faith against them. And he Christian signals while
he accuses us of virtue signaling. And he lies to these people just like all of these MAGA politicians
do. They lie. Trickle down economics was a lie. Fiscal conservatism is a lie. Law and order and we're
being the crime president. All of that is a lie. And they do it by Christian signaling to get the
votes. And these people get dicked over by the Moses Mike Johnson's of the world. And they have for
decades, long before Trump. And I just think right now, Congressman, we have an opportunity
as a Democratic Party to not be a corporate party, to be a complete party of the people,
not be holding to any packs, to any corporations. And you saw it happen in New York City. You saw
a young fellow take on the entire billionaire donor class and he kicked their fucking asses by
double digits. And he's amazing, by the way, he's amazing. Amazing. He amazing. And I just think
right now that contrast of these do nothing compulsive lying Republicans that Christian signal and they're
just hypocrites, they're fake Christians who have lied to all of these people,
people up against us right now who are fighting for victims of sexual abuse. I moved to New York,
so now you can hear the sounds of New York. But that contrast, that split screen that the Democratic
party has, number one, for us to get back to our roots because we've lost our way in the midst
of Citizen United and corporate donations. A lot of people in our party, myself included, I voted
for corporate Dems in the past. I got kind of jaded by that. What do you think?
think our midterm mantra should be you have a really great position now and i'm so happy that you
do it makes me happy to see you fighting there what do you think is now a part one of the party leaders
our mantra should be into the midterms look it has to be about fighting for working people it has to be
about fighting so that you can afford to put food on the table for your family that you have dignity
at your job and that we are as a country remembering that what this country really is about
and what government should be about is about helping people. It has to be about help. It's not
about helping or enriching those at the top. And I think as we go into these midterms, I want to go back
to something that you mentioned about Zoron. Early on in the process for that election, I think
it was a moment for the party to understand that you have this really not just all-star talent,
but somebody who more effectively than I think anyone on the left, on our side, has actually
communicated what affordability and fighting for working class people is all about.
And we should take that model as best we can and bring Zoran in to help replicate that
across the country.
Because he understands that working class people just want honesty and they want somebody
to fight for them.
And I think we need more of that in our party.
And I think that example should lead us into 2026.
And I think, by the way, that you're seeing campaigns.
What happened in New Jersey, what happened in Virginia,
what happened in California, my home state with redistricting,
is people understand and the party, I really believe,
has turned a corner in understanding that working class people abandoned us
because they viewed us as a party of the elite class.
That has to end.
That's got to be the message is we've got to fight like hell for working class people.
Pops. Real quickly on back to the Epstein financial records, it's my understanding based on things that I've read that Scott Bessett at the Department of Treasury holds a treasure trove of documents and financial records about Epstein and that he has declined to turn that over. Is that true? And can you subpoena those records directly from the Department of Treasury?
The Department of Treasury, there are numerous financial records that we want to get a hold of, many of which are, we believe, at the Treasury Department.
And yes, the problem with the subpoena is when we need Republicans to join us or force subpoena votes, which we've done in the past, to get these documents because the majority chooses to do nothing.
Every time we ask for a subpoena, they turn their back or they delay it or they make it limited in scope.
And so that's the other piece about getting the majority back is we are going to have all.
of these guys and in some cases ladies in front of us answering our questions the banks won't be able
to go anywhere the cabinet secretaries won't be able to go anywhere they're going to have to give us
and honor these subpoenas and so yes that is actually right and know this as well they're about we believe
there's over a thousand FBI and other agents across the government that have worked to put these
epstein files together and so we have heard from whistleblowers and others and we understand what's like
and possibly in these files. If the DOJ thinks are not going to give us the full files
or are going to try to redact things that we believe to be in there, we're going to raise
bloody hell. Because at the end of the day, the truth is going to come out whether Pan
Boni of Donald Trump wanted to or not. Okay, Congressman, final question. I believe this is my
opinion, and I think it's kind of objectively true, that this administration commits crimes
and corruption every single day. And autocrats historically, when they get power, their number one goal
is to consolidate it and keep it and cling on to it for dear life. These midterms are what they
fear the most, accountability. And I believe, even with all of the cheating and the gerrymandering
and the assist from the corrupt Supreme Court, I still think it's going to be a blue tsunami.
me. I think that I agree with you. If we take a look at what Zoron did, took on the billionaire class,
he had over 100,000 volunteers. And if we take that 50 state strategy and the Democrats have got to go
back to a 50 state strategy and never abandon red states again, I think it will be a big blue wave.
I'm terrified that these guys will not seed power. I'm really, really don't even think it's hyperbursed.
to ask, like, let's say that there is a blue wave and he's got military and he's crazy
as all get out. He's got all these Fox News narcissists that work in his cabinet that are complete
dipshit. I mean, how realistic is it to be terrified that if y'all win, they're not going to let you
get power of the house? Look, I think it's very realistic to believe that Donald Trump will do whatever it
takes to stay in power. I've been saying that from day one. That is not something that we should
think is far-fetched. I mean, he's laying the groundwork. And he's even, you know, he's talked
about, whenever he says something like, oh, well, you know, Ukraine had to postpone their elections
because they were in a war. That should signal something to us. When he's putting massed agents
from ICE and other agencies across American cities deploying the National Guard, that should be,
That is more than just the horrific actions of what he's doing around deportation.
He knows that what he's doing with ICE and he's building himself his own police force
that answers to him across the country because I believe that he knows that there are probably
enough good, honest generals and leaders in our military that aren't going to allow him to do what
he wants if he tries to stay in power.
But building his own national police state, which he continues to do and fund at historic levels, we've got to keep an eye on it.
And he's testing the ground every single day out in American cities.
And so all of that is important, which is why that blue tsunami and winning as many seats as possible is important.
That's why we shouldn't give up on the Senate.
We should try to win every damn Senate seat that we can win the House, stop his agenda, and we've got to.
got to like I've told everybody I finally feel a little hope like we can save our fucking
country but that means we've got to win that we've got to win congress and we've got to win
the presidency and we've got to be leisure focused on winning the presidency rolling back all
of his hate his division his executive orders and getting our country finally back on track
and then holding all of these guys accountable i cannot wait yes i can't wait for that
care of oversight when we win the majority to bring in stephen miller on day yes you know to bring in
christie noem to bring in tom holman to bring in all these folks that have caused real harm to this
country they should know that all of the crimes that they're committing they're going to be held
accountable yeah you know the thing that we have to realize is that now they are normalizing
murder for sport with that second boat strike and cruelty for sport and covering up for pedal
pedophiles for sport. This is what they do for enjoyment. And it is, I don't think, very popular.
I think this administration constantly tries to admit we're such tough guys. We're so alpha.
Look at, you know, look at us. Meanwhile, I think they're just wildly insecure, emotionally stunted
individuals that are playing out their broken inner child issues on a national stage.
And I think accountability is where the Biden administration failed us.
And I think as Democrats, we need to be very clear-eyed about what a fumble that was that these guys are such dipshits and we couldn't beat them is really more of an indictment on the Democrats than it is on them.
And I hope moving forward for the midterms and for the presidency, we are clear-eyed.
We will admit our mistakes.
We will take a look at all packed money and swear it off and look at the people who are winning and what message is winning because there's nothing better on the planet than kicking Republicans' asses.
And it's going to feel so good to beat these motherfuckers next year.
I mean, it is going to feel so good and we need to do it.
And I just, pumps and I just really appreciate you so much, Congressman.
And it's just in a sea of fuckery on the internet when we get to see you.
speak and this is just a real small thing but in complete sentences and make sense and not
compulsively lie is so refreshing and that should just be the bare minimum you know the split
screen of you against you know a Scott Besson as pumps pointed out or you know J.D. Vans or
say by the way what and both of us gay Scott Scott Besson yeah yeah exactly yeah yeah that's
just something that's so weird I don't know how it's bizarre to me too.
It's like, these folks are just, the folks that are in the Republican Party that are LGBTQ and out,
because there's, you know, obviously there's some they're not out, is insane to me, insane.
Harm in your own community, but.
Same with the women.
Same with the women that go in gender wash.
And then you have the vice president, pastor, on 60 minutes talking about doing away with the 19th Amendment.
Yeah.
Hegss.
And he's, no, Heggsets.
Yeah, Heg says pastor.
Sorry.
Thank you, Pumps.
It's wild to me that these people go into this group thinking they're the magic homo or they're the magic woman or they're the magic Indian and Cash Patel's defense.
And it's like, listen up, buttercups.
We grew up in a red state, these white Christian nationalists, these men, these rich fat cap men, they're using you right now.
They will turn the knives on you so fast it'll make your head spin.
There's nothing magic about you at all.
They will fuck you over just like they fucked everyone else over.
You'll just get fucked over last.
That's what's in store for you.
Anyway, all right, sorry for the language.
You know, there's sometimes no other, no better way to talk about these fuckers than using the F bomb.
Congressman, thank you so much.
Thank you.
