Congress has given Trump everything he wants all the time. There are senators that fight and senators that don't fight. Same with House of Representatives. But one person that continues to fight both for Epstein and accountability for ICE is Robert Garcia. And here's the thing, you guys, ice has to be abolished. It is rotten to its core. And the fact that we have given this administration two more weeks to clean up their act and they said, oh, we're going to pull back, they're not going to pull back because that's

not who they are. They're diabolical. So yesterday on the House floor, this was Robert Garcia, and I respect this because there are so few fighters. People, every single one of them has to be held accountable for the crimes, for the terror, and for the murders that are happening

to our own people in this country. We're taking action today because the stakes could not be higher. We mourn both of these two Americans today, and we find that these shootings cannot be justified here's the thing nobody but Fox News and the right is even trying to justify these shootings you look at the polling and it's overwhelming people saw this with their eyes but why are there not more Robert Garcia's like I I can't wrap my head around it the the six people he showed should all be in fucking prison because they like it they're saying go on

without a warrant you have total immunity ice can do whatever the fuck they want they have masks on because they don't want people to know who they are in their own communities because they know how shitty they're acting. Completely agree. I think the situation that everybody needs to understand that there's a difference between progressive Democrats like Robert Garcia and corporate Democrats. And there are a lot more Robert Garcia's because there's so many Congress people. I hear Roe Kana. I hear AOC. I hear others really, really, really fighting. The problem is our leader in the House. Hacquem Jeffries is. is a corporate Democrat. He has corporations first, American people second. And until we fix that, we are going to have a very disjointed resistance. And for those of you that don't like criticism of the Democratic Party, I want to remind you if you're in an organization where you shun

criticism, that is a symptom of being an occult. Constructive criticism and critical thinking and open-mindedness is required, demanded at this moment and not having it and not being clear-eyed and rigorously honest leaves us all vulnerable. And I refuse to be a vote blue no matter who fluff podcaster that doesn't tell you all the truth. The reason that it feels like for pumps that Robert Garcia's message is happening on an island all into its own is because the minority leader of the house, Hakeem Jeffries, is a corporate dim. He refuses to whip the votes. He refuses to address his A-PAC money. He refuses to address other corporate donations.

He is a corporate first Democrat. And so you find that a lot of things he says you like. A lot of things he says you're like, oh, yeah, I really, I believe in the same things he believes in. But you have to follow the money. And behind Hakeem Jeffries are corporations. And so you must understand this, you guys. That's where the crossover is in the through line between corporate Dems and MAGA. They're united in preventing progressive Democrats.

Elizabeth Warren, Zaron Mamdani, AOC. Why? Because Wall Street and corporations don't like them because it means consumer safety protections. It means taxes. And they feel like they're above board on all of that. I completely agree. And I'm so glad you're saying the message now because, It has not been said for so long because it was so murky for so long.

So I learned from that. And I think other Democrats are also learning from that. Something else that happened yesterday is Robert Garcia read the text messages of a woman that was shot by ICE, later prosecuted criminally by the Department of Justice, but had to dismiss the case because they were lying. He read the text messages to her of the ICE agents that shot her. and it was chilling and it is terrifying. It's disgusting, shameful, and it gets worse. Ms. Martinez, these are images of texts sent by the agent who shot you.

And they're actually disturbing to read, but I think it's important for the public to see this. The agent linked an article about your shooting and texted, read it. Five shots, seven holes. I fired five rounds, and she had seven. holes put that in your book boys oh well it is what it is shit happens okay i just want to say if you can hear that and see that these these ice agents are texting each other that and don't think abolishing ice is the only way to go i don't know what it's going to take i don't know what it's going to take i really don't because that is they're shooting humans for sport for sport it's yeah

And I think, again, this goes back to the message that we have to really get out in the primaries, that corporate Dems are always going to placate to the prison industrial complex, then for profits, then they are standing up for people. That's why Hakeem Jeffries is not whipping the vote. And so it's just so important in order to truly defeat fascism, number one, save democracy. But then after that, how do we install an FDR-style Democratic Party? Party. How do we do that? It is not possible with corporate Democrats. Time and time again, they've always disappointed me. I didn't know what it was, but now I do know what it is.

And it's incredibly important that we understand this and that we lift up the voices like Robert Garcia and other people in Congress, the Progressive Caucus, for example, they are really trying to build a Democratic Party in the model of Bernie Sanders, Zoran Mamdani, AOC. And some Democrats might hear that and they may think, oh, the problem is we need to run to the center. The center is corporate politics. What you deem as radical is corporations paying taxes. Corporations not having more rights than human beings, a political party that values human beings over profit, a political party that hears Robert Garcia give black and white evidence and says,

I am an absolute hell no vote on this. I don't give a shit. If I lose my next race, I will not vote for more people to be tortured and executed by my district's taxpayer dollars. That's exactly right. Okay. And I just want to point out that Fox News and Jesse Waters, They cover everything this administration does. They are, I mean, Jesse Waters is a sexist, misogynist, racist, homophobic pig. He grosses me out so bad. So Robert Garcia puts the evidence up before Congress today. And Jesse Waters has to go on Fox News and denigrate them because what if some of the Fox Newsers were watching C-SPAN today?

Listen to what he said. I just was horrified, but not relatively. nowhere Congressman Garcia was born. Peru. Where's his dad? We don't know. Mommy brought him over here when he was five. He was illegal for a few years. That's a lie.

Someone gave him a green card. Garcia marries a guy and somehow gets elected to represent Long Beach, California. Okay, here's the thing. In just those few seconds, he was able to be homophobic, racist, and anti-immigrant. Just, I mean, how many seconds was that? maybe 10. It's unbelievable. No, it's not unbelievable. It's exactly what they do at Fox News. And I can guarantee the people watching that, we're like, well, he's gay and he's brown. So obviously, he's sex and nobody should be held accountable. It's infuriating.

This is why this channel is why the Republican Party still strongly stands behind Donald Trump. These people are racist to their core and intellectually lacy. So Fox News every day serves up a permission structure. So what they're saying here is, yes, Robert Garcia is talking about horrible things that the government did. But Robert Garcia is not a real American. He was born in Peru. His mother was illegal. He was illegal.

All of that, I think is false. But who cares? But they do. They care. And so I know some Fox people in my life. adjacently and what is said on Fox News is just the appetizer to what they say once they turn it off and they take it all the way to dessert. There is a desire in these people that have everything. The system has been rigged for them, 401ks are flush, houses are paid off, live in a white

cookie cutter neighborhood, and they wake up, oppressed and angry. And that's something I don't know how to fix. The Republican Party doesn't want to fix that. They want to enable it even more and more. And so Fox News is a propaganda channel through and through, but more than anything, I mean, they are complicit in fascism, in state-sponsored murder, and Jesse Waters, that old queen. I mean, this is a guy who sits there and talks about Stephen Miller being a sexual matador.

This is a man who spends an obscene amount of time talking about masculinity and homosexuality and bathrooms. And I just think if you look behind what's going on with Jesse Waters, me thinks that lady doth protest too much is what I think. Not to mention he sachets around like he could be on RuPaul's drag race. Okay. One final thing in my argument that ICE must be abolished. I didn't realize this was happening until I saw this on the Senate floor. Here we have what's been called death cards. Pop this up, Kylie.

Cards, I hold one up here, have a history of being used by white supremacist groups to intimidate people of color. Isis running around and putting those on people's like the seats of their cars or on their cars, but they're leaving these death cards. that are white supremacy coded around to intimidate people. And again, I ask you, what's it going to take that we can't fix this? We've got Enrico Torio or Taro, you know, the head of the oathkeepers or proud boys. Does your white supremacy group? That's who's in these groups. You can't fix that.

You can't train it. There's nothing you can do except scratch it and start over. There was a group of people. when Obama was president, that I think it was an Oregon or somewhere, and they were like, they had this whole standoff with the federal government, like, don't take our guns and there's this crazy thing. Now all of these people are willfully cheering for a hyper-militarized federal government. These people believe in nothing except for their racism. And it's super important we understand that. Don't tread on me people. The people that did the big standoff with

Obama, I think it's 2014 or 2015, they desperately fought about this big militarized federal government. This is horrible. We can't have it. Inter-Trump, big militarized federal government. It's awesome. We're here for it. These people believe in nothing except hatred, racism, and white supremacy and black people have been trying to tell us this for decades. They have been screaming, waving their arms, saying, hey, look at what's happening in our communities. And the problem is the people who watch Fox News say good. Good. I'm glad you're putting those cards there. Good. I'm glad you're over-policing the black communities. And that's just the cancer that's in this country and there's just a big distinction in what we believe as progressives and what they believe.

And the difference between me and them is even as much as I hate all of these fascists, I cannot stand Stephen Miller. I cannot stand Hegg Seth, Christie, Noem. If we ever get power again and there were trials against them, I still oppose the death penalty. Right. you know like I still don't think that that's a good outcome and I'm sure someone you're like well I would you know I just there's just a there's fundamentally a moral difference but bizarrely you guys I found this time and time again throughout my entire life being the only

atheist in the room and so many spaces growing up and in my adult life in very religious Oklahoma I found myself talking to completely morally bankrupt people more than you could ever imagine and they were always the most religious The most religious people I've ever met in the Bible Belt, not you people that are Episcopalian or Methodist, that don't try to cram your religion down people's throat. I'm talking about the Bible Belt Republicans in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, they are mean. They are mean to their core. These people bask in cruelty.

It's murder for sport, torturing people for sport. These are the same people and the same lineage as we head into Black History Month that posed for photos under a black person hanging from a tree with smiles on their faces. And these people still exist among us. And they probably see these old photos and smile at them. And it's a very serious thing. And this is the fight of our life. I completely agree. And it's very well said because it's true.

If you talk to an evangelical Christian about what's going on, as long as it's black and brown people that I have spoken with, they're fine with it. And that it's just something we all have to understand collectively that the racism is driving this MAGA party in so many ways. All right, please like. I want to say one more thing really quick that I think is super important. They also consider white people like us that are not loyal to the regime, race, trade. and even white men are not safe in this regime. Look no further than Mike Pence, white, Christian, Republican, called his wife, mother,

for God's sakes. They wanted to hang him. They wanted to hang him, you know? So nobody is safe in this regime. So even for the rich, white, racist, you're not even safe. No one is safe in this regime. All right. Like, so,
