Starting point is 00:00:00 Uh, hold music. Not exactly what you want to hear when a pipe just burst in your basement is flooding. And your vinyl collection is getting soaked. We make Chevrolet vehicles, but what you do with them makes them so much more. You make them mobile offices, your kids' personal taxi, a concert shuttle, your hockey equipment
Starting point is 00:00:41 locker, your recording studio. We make a Chevrolet, but you make it a Chevy. Discover yours at Chevrolet.ca. Every single day we cover Donald Trump and his administration committing crimes. Every single day. He sits down in a safe space with Newsmax and gets. gives an interview where he suggests he's going to pardon himself and other members of his administration so that he can continue. He and his administration can continue to commit crimes on a day-in, day-out
Starting point is 00:01:11 basis. Kylie, play the clip. I'm allowed to do a pardon, a self-parton. I'm allowed to pardon. The only thing Biden did is he proved that, you know, the pardon is very powerful. I know that. They say it's the most powerful thing a president has, the power of pardon. I can tell you this. I don't want to see my people go through because these people are lunatics on the left. I don't want to see people that work for me go through years of nonsense, hire lawyers and everything else.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Right. Can you believe this bullshit? Joining me in studio this morning is Charlie Goldenson, also known on Instagram as Shay Chuck. We're covering for the ladies this morning. Charlie, what's your take on this? The main thing here I think that we've got to remember is Donald Trump is all.
Starting point is 00:01:57 about self-preservation, right? So of course he wants to pardon himself, whether he will do that or not. But remember, like, if he decides to run again, which we all know is illegal, but we all know he might try to do, so much of that reasoning is not just about enriching himself. It's about protecting him and his cronies from being thrown into fucking prison because he knows what they're doing is illegal. They all know what they're doing is illegal. You look at Kimberly Gilfoyle, right? These people are putting their illegal activities into writing. That's how concerned they are, and that's how knowledgeable they are of their own wrongdoing. And so, yes, he wants to pardon himself because he knows how guilty he is. The other thing I'd quickly say about this is this isn't just about partying himself.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Donald Trump has been turning pardons into campaign activities recently. He's been campaigning around the country, doing campaign events for other congressional and Senate candidates, and he's been going on stage, issuing pardons to people on those stages. Like the price is right. Exactly, like the price is right. And, you know, it's very similar to his, you know, bullshit $5,000 check promise that he's making if Republicans win. He's just using these things as campaign tools. He's trying to say, I'll give you money if we win. He's saying, I'll get you out of prison if we win. He's running out of option. So that's what I think about when I think about this asshole pardoning himself. And so, and I was trying to think to myself, okay, what could he possibly be pardoning himself for?
Starting point is 00:03:26 Number one, I'm not sure that you can pardon yourself. That's not proven. There's no case law to support that. It's never been done. And why has it never been done? Because we've never had a corrupt president like Donald Trump, like this son of a bitch. This is a whole other level. But let's talk about some of the things he may pardon himself for.
Starting point is 00:03:44 How about killing 200 people on a boat in the Caribbean and Pacific? That seems like a valid. valid reason for a pardon. How about the fact that you sell pardons, that people pay you money to get a pardon? That seems like bribery. That seems like a plausible reason for a pardon. Ricking his own tax case, where the IRS can't possibly come after him. Insider trading. And, you know, we hear all these things about the Trump organization and all the money he's getting from the Middle East. I mean, the layers of corruption, we could talk about for days. Yeah. And I'd add to that. in terms of layers of corruption, there's reporting from the House Judiciary Committee that
Starting point is 00:04:26 its cost victims, $1.7 billion from the Trump pardons. People have been owed $1.7 billion. That $1.7 billion have been wiped away because of Trump's pardons. That includes, of course, January 6ers. That includes fraudsters. That includes corporatist oligarchs who were taking advantage of taxpayers and consumers. And so, and then the other piece of this is a lot of the people that he's pardoning are donors and supporters of his, right? Which again, he should be thrown in jail for. So it's all cyclical. It's all the same shit. It's all a, it's all a game to make more money for him and his friends. Right. And his vice president, J.D. Vance, recently gave an interview. And he talked about certain things that it seemed like are more relevant to Trump. He talks about
Starting point is 00:05:15 whether or not selling access to the White House would be legal. Kylie, can you play that clip for us? The President is making a lot of money off of crypto. His own IRS has barred itself from looking into his tax returns. You have this recent issue with the ambassador to Greece, seeming to sell access to the White House. That's why people are concerned. And if there's nothing to hide, you say you've seen nothing.
Starting point is 00:05:40 First of all, somebody's selling access to the White House. That's disgusting and despicable when they should suffer. What I'm... Okay, everyone, how many times have you gone to a department store or to the drugstore and bought a lot of makeup that ends up just sitting in your drawer that you do not ever use? I have a drawer full of it. But this past weekend, I cleaned it all out because, as you know, I am a big proponent and user of Jones Road Beauty. Not exactly what you want to hear when a pipe just burst in your basement is flooding. And your vinyl collection is getting soaked. And your cat just floated by on a sofa cushion? That's why intact insurance answers 2 million claim calls per year within 20 seconds. It's their way of going the extra mile to help.
Starting point is 00:07:45 So instead of hearing this lovely track, over and over and over, you'll hear this in seconds. Hello, intact insurance. Now that's music to your ears. Okay. Now, is that not a little bit rich coming from anyone? Anyone in this administration saying that that's disgusting and despicable, they should suffer consequences. And before I get to you, Charlie, I want to give a couple examples of what we may be talking about when we say selling access to the White House. Let's think about Kimberly Gilfoyle.
Starting point is 00:08:15 She's basically grifting a guy for a hundred grand amex payment. And my favorite part of that is she wants it wired straight to amex. She doesn't even want it wired to her. It goes straight to amex. But don't put it in writing. Don't put it in writing. Call me on Signal. Then I don't know if you remember the meme coin dinner that Trump had in 2025,
Starting point is 00:08:32 where he said if you buy the coin, meet the president, that's the whole business model. He invites his biggest buyers to dinner with him. That sounds like selling access to the White House. The half-billion-dollar crypto deal, if you'll remember that. Days before his inauguration, interest tied to a top official at the UAE agreed to buy nearly half of the Trump's family crypto company for $500 million. Selling access, half a billion dollars, possibly. Then there's this mystery $2 billion. Reuters found an anonymous crypto wallet that took in about $2 billion of the Trump's family stable coin in two weeks, and nobody could say who owned it.
Starting point is 00:09:11 The list could go on and on. It goes as far as the ballroom. And this is a fun fact. The White Washington Post got the spreadsheet that $333 million in private donations came for the White House ballroom. But Watchdog Group tied over half of the corporate donors to more than $50 billion in federal contracts later. So you make the donation, you then get the federal contract. All of those are examples, in my opinion, of selling access. to the White House that according to J.D. Vance is disgusting and despicable.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Yeah. And I appreciate J.D. Vance saying that, of course, saying the thing that we all believe, but I'll also remind folks listening that J.D. Vance is a fucking liar and he's full of shit. Right. So let's think about J.D. Vance's history of lying. Right. He said that Haitian immigrants were eating cats and dogs. He said that he didn't believe in war and that we shouldn't go to war and then he helped send us to Iran. He told Americans that he thought Trump was an American Hitler and that Trump wasn't fit for office. And then he started to work for him. I don't know, as his fucking vice president. J.D. Vance is a bootlicker and he's a shill. And he will say anything and do anything to stay in a positive limelight from the general public and from his daddy, Donald
Starting point is 00:10:28 Trump. And so again, while I appreciate him saying this, I don't care what he says. He hates on South Asian immigrants while marrying an Indian woman. Like, we can't take what he says seriously. So there's two parts of this. Yes, Donald Trump should go to prison. Donald Trump is corrupt. Thank you, J.D. Vance for saying that. On the other hand, J.D. Vance is simply saying this to protect himself.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Because, again, all these people at their core are after self-preservation. And I'm always, what they're doing. I'm always amazed at these Christian magam in the level of corruption and how they give these interviews and with a stern face, they lie. ass off as if it's more natural for these guys to lie than it is to tell the truth. It comes with such ease that he could sit there and say this about selling access to the White House when that's all his administration and or cabinet members do and or influencers do on a day-in, day-out basis.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Yeah. Well, I mean, they're not even honest about their own religion, about their own faith, right? Talk about J.D. Vance. He's somebody who critiqued the Pope after the Pope told them that we shouldn't go after immigrants and we shouldn't be attacking or going to war, J.D. Vance figured, oh, here's the time to throw my faith away and attack the Pope here. So, again, even the things that they pride themselves on being their sole, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:45 components of their self-identity, identity, faith, religion, it's all bullshit. It's all fake. And they're just after power and money and influence. Well, let's pivot to one of my favorite MAGA piece of sheds. And I like to have this list that's ongoing. It's almost like these little Trump action figures that I can throw darts at, but my favorite piece of shit would be Matt Gates.
Starting point is 00:12:07 And he's been somewhat silent lately, but yesterday he made the news. Let's not forget the fact that Matt Gates was first selected to be the Attorney General of the United States of America. And this was after a federal investigation that he was involved in child, sex, trafficking. And of course, you might hear that and think, well, that seems odd. That doesn't seem like a logical pick. But then when you think about the Epstein files and Donald Trump and all of these people that are involved in that, it makes perfect sense that Donald Trump would have selected Matt Gates to be his attorney general because you would want a child sex trafficker to oversee an investigation of child sex trafficking involving the president and others so asked to suppress that and keep that from the American people, which is exactly what this administration is doing. Kylie, can you pop this up?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yesterday, a story popped about Matt Gates. Trump's initial pig for Attorney General has been hit with a new federal sex trafficking lawsuit. Two women alleged Gates participated in a scheme involving drugs, secret payments, and luxury trips. The complaint also alleges he paid $400 to a 17-year-old girl for sex. $400 to a 17-year-old girl for sex. This man was nominated to be the Attorney General of the United States, which is the top. law enforcement position in this country. That in and of itself is bad shit crazy, but in this administration makes perfect sense. Charlie? Yeah. I mean, we talk a lot about, of course,
Starting point is 00:13:38 about the Epstein files and about the Epstein class as we should. But I think that actually, like, it does a disservice because we have to remember it's not just Epstein. The Republican Party is the party of pedophilia generally, even if they don't have a connection to Epstein and Epstein Island, right? It's not just Matt Gates. If you all are following, Ken Paxson, who's running for Senate against James Tala Rico in Texas. He, of course, is famously led off a child sex offender and sent him to prison for just one day after a plea deal. These people do not care about protecting children. They do not care about protecting women. These are the same people. If you can see Matt Gates' insane face on this, these are the same people who fearmonger against trans people,
Starting point is 00:14:21 against gender affirming care while they are some of the people using the most gender affirming care it's not trans people who are a threat to our children it's these fuckers it's white republican christian men in powerful positions um who are going after our children who are the real threat to everybody that's right and it seems like the republicans have a monopoly of these piece of shit pedophiles because you couldn't drum up any any worse individuals in this country and put them in public office than some of the guys you see in the Trump administration with someone like Matt Gates or Donald Trump or I think that Howard Lutnik he involves in all these guys are just cut from the same cloth it's like work Kempaxson where do they come from exactly I think about this all the time I mean that's one of
Starting point is 00:15:06 the funniest things we've talked to us before of like there's I view the Trump administration there's like two layers happening there's the like insanity that you can kind of laugh at because it's so absurd like these what feels like comic book levels super villains where you're like, did somebody write these? Like, where do they come from? The problem with these people, though, and the insanity of them and the comedy is that it makes it easy to kind of forget about and ignore the layer undernet, which is like the legitimate fascism that they're all pushing simultaneously, right? I think about a lot about this with Trump and Stephen Miller, where we can joke about Stephen Miller's baldness and his weirdness and the fact that he looks like
Starting point is 00:15:46 a thumb and the fact that he's probably never had sex in his life besides the one per time that he got his wife pregnant. But the reality is behind the scenes, he's actually pushing a legitimate fascistic agenda. And so I think like the Matt Gates story and the pedophilia components of the Republican Party, it's just like it's that part. It's insane and it's hilarious and it's scary. It's also one of the most fucking crazy and scary things. Yeah. And it almost seems to me like to be a member of MAGA, the qualifier is that you have to have some relationship to child sexual abuse. Otherwise, you're not going to be, you're not going to fit in the party. So it's like if you're not a member of that group, then you don't belong, to speak.
Starting point is 00:16:24 I mean, that's just the way I feel about it. I mean, it's kind of like it almost feels like a gang or a mob where it's like, if you haven't done something wrong also, how can we trust you? How can we make sure you're one of us? There's not something that we can hold against you and blackmail you with, then how can we trust you? Exactly. And it's always these powerful white men. It's the same men that preach Christianity, MAGA, family values to the American people.
Starting point is 00:16:48 I want to pivot briefly to Representative Elon Omar, and there was an update, I believe, on her case and a story that popped yesterday about DOJ's previous investigation of her. The Washington Post reports that Trump officials scrutinized Representative Ilhan Omar in 2019. They didn't find citizenship issues. The earlier review of Omar's immigration records looked at many of the same issues being investigated now. And to me, that shows three things about the recent search of her residence. Number one, it was time perfectly to interfere with the election, to interfere with her campaign. She's up for election in this cycle. The second thing I think is it was red meat for her base, for Trump's base, as it relates to immigration issues.
Starting point is 00:17:40 And the third thing is it was just flat racism, trying to target a Muslim. woman. But the fact that DOJ has previously investigated this matter, and there's a memo to that effect where they concluded that they didn't have enough evidence to proceed forward. And so if you're her attorney, of course, what you're going to want to do is get that memo. You're going to want to show that there's no justifiable basis for this search. You're going to want to file a motion for selective and or vindictive prosecution. And all of the evidence is in the public domain. That's all you need are Trump's own statements, the way he's attacked her, to have this case dismissed, similar to what James Comey was going to do, Letitia James was going to do
Starting point is 00:18:20 when their cases were dismissed. What are your thoughts on this, Charlie? Yeah, I mean, I think it's a good point that we're bringing of the DOJ, because I think something that's not getting talked about here is what this means is it's now been multiple federal agencies they've used to go against it, right? Like, a lot of the reporting recently is just around the DHS, rated of her house, which of course, is the same agency that oversees ICE. But you mentioned the DOJ, which means that Trump and his administration are using every tool they can and every agency they can to try to make this happen, which is even scarier when you really think about it.
Starting point is 00:18:50 The other thing I'll just say here, too, is while I would never say anything bad about immigrants or illegal immigrants or whatever we want to call them, there is one person who was admitted to illegal immigration before who is absolutely impacting our elections, absolutely impacting our country. And that's Elon Musk. And if we remember, Elon Musk, of course, not only did he run Doge for the president of the United States, but it was just reported that he donated over $270 million since July, $270 million to Republican super PACs.
Starting point is 00:19:23 And it's interesting, I don't mean to interrupt you, but it's interesting that you bring up his name as it relates to this story. Yeah. Because we've got a clip from 2013 where Elon Musk and his brother give an interview, and it's interesting what they say in this interview. Kylie, could you play that, please? When they did fund us, they realized that. We were illegal immigrants.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Well, I'd say it's a great area. Yes, we were. I was illegal immigrants. Okay. So let's talk about that. Elon Musk comes here from South Africa. And he, I believe he comes on a student visa to go to Stanford. And then he never, guess what?
Starting point is 00:20:05 He never enrolls in Stanford. And this is in the mid-90s. And no one knows what he did between the mid-90s and when he applied or gained citizenship. in 2002. And here's the catch to this, though. So if you live in this country and you work during that period of time and you're here on a student visa and you're not going to school, then you're working illegally in this country. And that's a big deal when you're applying for citizenship. Then you're also here illegally. So all of this flies in the face of Representative Omar in the search of her house for what she put on an application and or her father put on an application in
Starting point is 00:20:42 2000. At the same time, the richest man in the world, who is a huge part of this administration with the military, with Doge, has the president's series involved in all aspects of it. This SpaceX thing was Starlink and Russia and Ukraine, all of it. He's in the house and he makes it admission that they, in fact, came here illegally. What are your thoughts on this? Yeah. I mean, not just the richest man in the world, the richest man in the history of the universe. Nobody's existed, who's accumulated as much wealth as he has. And, you know, when I mentioned before that clip about the fact that he's spending this much money in these midterm elections to help Republicans win, you know, I think a lot of people think about Elon Musk as a staunch Republican,
Starting point is 00:21:29 as somebody who uses this money to fight against immigrants and to fight against trans people, et cetera. And like, of course, that's true. But the reality is that Elon Musk is also somebody who benefits from socialism for the rich, right? Elon Musk over the years has made over $40 billion from government kickbacks, tax breaks, benefits, et cetera, for his companies like the companies you mentioned, Tesla, et cetera. So not only, of course, is he funding this stuff because he's a fascist supporter, but it's, again, it's self-preservation. He knows that if Republicans continue to win. If Trump continues to win, he will continue to get federal benefits for his companies. He will continue to milk the teat of the federal government while you, while I struggle
Starting point is 00:22:09 to afford groceries, struggle to get health care. And again, it's the same thing as always. It's self-preservation. And it's these people climbing up the ladder themselves and then kicking the ladder away so people can't climb up that. And it's always these, we always see these images of these rich white guys at the White House, Mark Zuckerberg, or Elon Musk, these guys. And the game is so rigged. The system is so rigged. And these guys control everything on social media, which in a big part of what they do is try to keep the nation divided because they profit off of the that division. When we fight, when Republicans and Democrats are at odds with each other, they make money. And that's the story. All of this is related to money. I want to pivot again to, and you
Starting point is 00:22:51 mentioned health care in your segment, but I want to talk about Robert Kennedy Jr., the Secretary of Health and Human Services. He gave an interview yesterday that I thought was very interesting. I want to get your opinion on this. Kylie, can you play that clip? Questions? Mr. Secretary, do you believe that five deaths, potentially six from measles in the state of Pennsylvania? We're also not going to talk about measles. He's not going to help official in the country.
Starting point is 00:23:16 He can answer that question. He's a cabinet secretary. Mr. Secretary. We've done better. We're having a global measles outbreak right now. It's all over the world. And the measles outbreak is occurring because so many people went unvaccinated during the COVID pandemic. And this is something that Anthony Fauci, in fact, predicted.
Starting point is 00:23:38 He said, we're going to kill more people from measles. I mean, let's stop it right, too. I mean, the craziness of this interview, the hypocrisy and the lies associated with him. So for 20 years, he was saying vaccines can cause autism. Now he blames the parents for skipping vaccines. He built the biggest anti-vaccine shop in the country, then act surprised by a vaccination gap. He wrote a book calling Fauci a fraud.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Now he cites him as a profit when he wants to shift blame. The vaccination rates keep falling after COVID during his loudest years. You could go on and on about this guy and just the hypocrisy and the lies that he continues to say. What's your take? Yeah. I mean, the same thing. It's just, it's so stupid. It's like hard to react to.
Starting point is 00:24:26 You know, this is somebody who said, quote, that the COVID vaccine was the deadliest vaccine ever made. That is anti-vax behavior. He is encouraging people not to get vaccinated. And then in 2025, if you remember, when he was already a cabinet member, he sat in a congressional hearing and said to Congress. He said, quote, people should not take their medical advice from me. This is the fucking guy who's supposed to be leading on this. And so again, it's like it goes back to the classic kind of like Republican thing of they think
Starting point is 00:24:59 they can say these things and get away with these things. then when a reporter is in their face or people start, I don't know, dying, they have to say, why are you mad at me? I didn't do that. I didn't say that. The other thing I'll add here is it's not just him, right? This administration when it comes to health is full of garbage. It's him and it's Dr. Oz, right? A TV personality who made millions of dollars shilling for non-scientific, non-tested supplements and diet pills. These are people who have cut the republicans have cut so much money that 12 million americans have now lost health care right food recalls are insane iceberg lettuce jalapenos we've all got diarrhea like we can't trust these
Starting point is 00:25:44 fuckers no right and so it's a joke yeah and you make a good point they get up there they lie the things they say they do it with such ease and and the deniability that they have about certain things i want to get to one more thing before we wrap up briefly uh joe rogan appears to have amnesia about their relationship and support for donald trump we We've got a short clip we want to play, Kylie. Stood for, some of it turned out to not be real. Like one of them was the no wars. Well, look, we're at a war with Iran, so that wasn't real.
Starting point is 00:26:13 The other thing was closing the border. That is real. But then with that, then you have the, you know, Tim Dillon had a great description of ice. He said former backyard carnival wrestlers who took like a seven-week course. That's enough, Kylie. We've heard enough. But, you know, it's just like these guys.
Starting point is 00:26:31 He's acting like he didn't know that Trump was going to do these things. How can he say that? He supported Donald Trump. Trump ran on mass deportations. That was his entire campaign slogan. And to hear someone like Joe Rogan, I mean, that guy's full of shit. Given that interview, saying to Michael Douglas, it's a better question. Why the fact is Michael Douglas on a show?
Starting point is 00:26:54 But Joe Rogan's saying that and denying that he, you know, nobody wants to own this shit after it happens. Joe Rogan included. You need to step up and own all this shit. You knew exactly what we were getting and you signed up for it. I'll give you the closing remarks. Yeah. I mean, my response to that is just like, no fucking shit, Joe Rogan. You know, I know if you remember it was over a year ago.
Starting point is 00:27:15 He had a similar rant after I started deporting everyone in our neighborhoods, right? And he said something where, oh, well, we didn't know that ice was going to go after our landscapers. And my response to that is, yes, we fucking did, dude. Everybody did. All you had to do was read the news. Look at the previous Trump administration. Look at history.
Starting point is 00:27:35 See what Trump and his administration, Stephen Miller, are telling you to your face. And this is one of my biggest problems with Joe Rogan is even let's believe him that he didn't know. Let's assume he actually didn't know this stuff. Well, then fuck you, man. You have an audience and millions and millions and millions of people. I don't care if you didn't ask for this responsibility. You have gained this responsibility to be knowledgeable, to inform your audience and
Starting point is 00:27:58 is honestly, and for you to not admit your own fault, to not admit your own responsibility in the rise of fascism and injecting a fascist into our government, then fuck you. I cannot take you seriously. I have no respect for you and you're like fake hot podcast, fake comedian bullshit. I agree 100%. That's all we have for IHIP News today.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Thanks for letting Charlie and I co-hosts. The girls are gone for the day. Please like, subscribe to the channel, do all the things you're supposed to do. We'll see you next time. Bye, guys. Hold music. Not exactly what you want to hear when a pipe just burst in your basement is flooding.
