Starting point is 00:00:04 All right, joining me today on IHIP News is Tara McGowan, my good friend and founder and publisher of Courier News, one of the fastest growing news networks in the country. Tara, welcome. Let's dive right into Jared and Ivanka. Do it. I'm so excited to be here in studio. Yes. Having me. If your dad were mentioned in a pedophile ring where a lot of the crimes took place on a private island and your dad was in it over a million times, just out of curiosity, would you get on camera and talk about? how you were going to develop your own private island with other people that are mentioned in the aforementioned pedophile sex ring private island thing aka the Epstein files no i would not um
Starting point is 00:00:50 if i mean when we look at everything avonka has forgiven accepted embraced like it it doesn't really shock the system that much because so much of the trump family and M.O. has been lean in, right? Say the quiet parts out loud. Do the corruption out in public? Like, I feel like this is just another kind of part of the game that they're playing, which is like, look at us. We can play by a totally different set of rules we do. And, wow, maybe they were inspired by the Epstein Island and how much they got away with there for so long that they're building their own bunker now on a beautiful island with all of the money that is being funneled to her husband through more corruption that is also very, very deeply intertwined with why we are in
Starting point is 00:01:41 this illegal war in Iran. Like it's just, you know, if she looks pretty and smiles and talks about it, like it's the next big adventure in her family's life, maybe no one will pay attention to the corruption. I know they're very flagrant about it. Well, the Albanians are madder than hornets about it and pop this up. Here we have a pro tester that says Ivanka, Sazon Island will not be your daddy. next Epstein Island and I feel like a lot of our media here is censored you don't really see this that much but the world hates the Trumps and she's getting trolled so hard on Instagram she has turned off the comments on this post in particular that what did it for her I didn't actually know that people are
Starting point is 00:02:25 trolling her like crazy and so she has turned off the comments yeah I mean it makes sense I mean I they don't strike me as people that have very skin, right? Like they create their own echo chamber. They move to their own islands. They live in their own circles and their own kind of false reality. And that's the only way I can imagine that she can get by. I mean, her dad was sexually harassing her on television when she was a minor. So like, just imagine how fucked up this woman is and how much she has decided to just embody the prototype of woman that her father has taught her through his actions, through his work. through his behavior and his bullshit is the epitome of a quote-unquote good woman.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Like she is playing the good wife, the good woman, the good daughter. I used to think that she would be the sort of next of kin-in-line, right, if they were going to create this monarchy of sorts. And I definitely think she's the smartest of the children and the savviest. But then she's really just kind of leaned into like really disgusting trad wife social light when she used to be a really big business entrepreneur. I mean, not a good one. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:38 That she was leveraging child slave labor to make clothing. She might still be probably. I don't know if she has a Walmart line. But I just think that she's playing a role very clearly and unapologetically. Okay. So speaking of the Epstein Island, a new report implicates the Bush DOJ in the Epstein plea deal. Pop this up. The Daily Beast is reporting a new report has implicated.
Starting point is 00:04:04 George W. Bush's Department of Justice in the case of convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. According to the new report from Julie K. Brown, who we all know is incredible journalist on this. Bush's DOJ was quietly guiding then U.S. attorney Alex Acosta. Through the case, while Epstein's lawyers stalled for more time, authorities knew of at least 40 victims, Tara, 40. He pled guilty to one count. of solicitation to a prostitute. So this was something back when this happened, before Epstein became the big story that it is now.
Starting point is 00:04:43 My husband's a criminal defense attorney, and he always, he deals with federal prosecutors all the time, and they're dicks, and they don't try cases unless they're going to win. They're good at what they do. Most of them are very, very, very educated, have turned down seven-figure jobs in New York to go work for the DOJ
Starting point is 00:05:01 because they genuinely believe in the rule of law. And when this case was quote unquote settled or pled, my husband was like, some, the fix is in somewhere. This Alex Acosta, something is going on here. So now this is the first reporting we have that this started under George W. Bush. What's your take on all that and what can you add? That's right. Well, you know at Courier, we have leaned really, really, really hard into covering the Epstein coverup because we are living through the coverup in real time. But we know that this has been a cover up that has crossed partisan life.
Starting point is 00:05:34 party lines, the DOJ has been involved. We've known this for a long time, but so much has been buried and intentionally covered up over time that that's why the call for the release of the files was so loud, was so bipartisan, was so imperative, was because so much has been hidden and continues to be hidden. And so Julie K. Brown has been doing amazing reporting on this forever, but it even goes to show it's a testament, right, that so much information was still not accessible until these files were released. And we built an incredible AI tool because the way that the DOJ has released the files has also made it intentionally difficult to piece together information, right?
Starting point is 00:06:11 They have redacted a number of the perpetrator's names while disclosing the victims and survivors unethically against what they said they would do and was in the Transparency Act. And so this is something that like Julie K. Brown's been on the speed for years and years. She still is breaking news on it because there's so much information that's now publicly available. So this isn't like they just uncovered something right on their own. accord necessarily this is stuff that's in the files the amount of information that is still in these files that literally just takes a lot of intentional reporting on of which legacy media is not doing right it's basically courier daily beast julie k brown that are breaking a lot of the news and a number of incredible independent creators that have really taken to the story in the files and so we know
Starting point is 00:06:54 that we like all everything that we know already is the tip of the iceberg so bill gates is testifying this week with the Oversight Committee. He has this news broke today too, that he has hired a former person from the Oversight Committee who just left not too long ago as his legal counsel to coach him and prepare him for his closed door testimony this week. So again, this is why the Epstein cover-up is not going to go away at all. It is something that crosses partisan and lines and it really is the, really like the central story that connects the dots of how Americans have been feeling for so long that there is a different set of rules for the most elite, rich and powerful. Obviously, Trump and MAGA have taken that to an extraordinarily new
Starting point is 00:07:39 abhorrent level. But this is, this cover up has been going on for so long because it really is the metaphor for what it means when you have an entrenched elite, powerful, wealthy class. And that was before, right? We had big tech and AI all over. arcs that are literally sitting on the dais right at the inauguration for Trump that are running this government behind the scenes, buying up legacy media to destroy it as Ellison is done with CBS and is about to do with CNN. All of this is interconnected. Yeah. And the Epstein coverup brings it all together in a way that is truly compelling, obsessively compelling for a lot of people. And they wanted to make people only pay attention to the most salacious or conspiracy-driven theories of it. So they
Starting point is 00:08:24 would write it off and people talking about it would be written off as crazy, they can no longer do that with these files being released by the Department of Justice and so many more still hidden. And now is the time to push for accountability. In New Mexico, where a women majority state legislature created an Epstein Truth Commission, the first in the country, because we know the federal government will not hold anyone accountable right now, they're going to do it on their own. They've already released a list of subpoenas of banks and law firms, and they're going to get to the individual level because we have to be able to turn the files into trials.
Starting point is 00:08:58 And so each one of these new breaking news stories is getting us a bit closer. So Rokana brilliantly labeled this group of men, the Epstein class, because they all seem to have something in common. They're in the Epstein files, close proximity to Trump, who is it, aside from Jeffrey Epstein, appears to be at the epicenter of the Epstein files. They're all rich. They're all very morally malleable. And how important do you think it is to pin the moral failures of Epstein in Democratic messaging in midterms and in 2028?
Starting point is 00:09:38 Because where I'm from in Oklahoma, the sanctimony and the preaching about, well, we are, we like Christian values. And we're for family values. And we support kids. We're real, we support these traditional families. It is a, it still carries such a big stick in red states and in fly over America. In my opinion, Donald Trump has proven, finally, and it's always been proven to all of us that pay attention, but the Republicans are pathological liars about wealth trickling down. But they're also pathological liars about being these family values Christian great dads. I mean, it's just such bullshit.
Starting point is 00:10:21 As you mentioned, Donald Trump sexually harassed his daughter on television when she was under age. How important is it for Democrats to go for the juggler and pin the MAGA family values Christian narrative as the pro-pedophilia party? I mean, it's mission critical, but I would say it expands beyond. Like, the Epstein class isn't just about Jeffrey Epstein, right? The cover up over Epstein and his insane network and pedophilia cabal, right, that is a part of it. It goes so far beyond that it isn't just about justice or accountability for the victims or survivors either. This is truly a reckoning moment and story about accountability and making sure that there are fair rules that everybody has to play by. That's why this justice and accountability is so important.
Starting point is 00:11:14 And the Epstein class is not just Republicans, as we know, or, or, billionaires and soon to be trillionaires who are who are who have been lobbying with for they've been lobbying against the release of the files they're trying to change the story right the the massey story is still a huge one the amount of money spent to defeat massy that is part of the cover up because he was speaking out and ensuring that this was not a partisan issue the other thing i would say is that the epstein class applies to every member of congress regardless of party who voted against releasing the files the argument that a lot of them give right which is that this is a distraction i mean i've heard it from people that i've talked about why are you guys leaning in so hard of it anyone who says it's a
Starting point is 00:11:57 distraction i want to know what are you protecting what are you scared of right how far will this bleed by that logic is the catholic church uh child rape cover up was that a distraction from god's mission in the catholic church right because that's their logic right exactly and and also furthermore if you're pro children, pro law and order, pro human beings, this would be some, do you think this is one of the biggest cover-ups of our lifetime globally? Oh, absolutely, without question. I mean, it blows Watergate out of the water. I mean, there's obviously certain things that have stayed covered up, I think, but done by our government, but it's never been actually directed so concretely by the president of the United States. The Department of Justice involved the CIA. And to your earlier point,
Starting point is 00:12:41 we were talking about the Ivanka story, this is the massive drive. story in countries all over the world every single day, ones that are pursuing justice, people are losing their jobs, they're losing their titles. TITALS. They are losing their place in society at the top because of this. And they are watching America and they are like, oh my God, you guys have not arrested one single person. Not one single person has been charged criminally. Okay. And here is J.D. Vance. He just face plants all the time. He's so bad at politics. He really is. I always called J.D. Vance, the country's top prostitute. And with the Amanda Ungaro's whisperings of Melania's former profession, that's a, I was going to say, hey, you're, but J.D.
Starting point is 00:13:26 higher than Melania on that chain, I don't know. I think he might still be higher, because he, I mean, Peter Till says jump, he says how high, but here he is talking about the midterms in Trump's accomplishments. Play the clip. Historically, even when the country's been doing very well, midterms are pretty bad for the country, for the party that's that's in power. But I think we have a great chance. Number one, because the president has delivered on so many of his core campaign promises. But number two, it's because the Democrats can't seem to nominate normal people to ask for the American people's vote.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Maybe normal people don't want to run as Democrats. That's the key. I want to- Normal people. Normal people. This is a guy who can't condemn a Nazi chat where people are hurling racist insults all over the place. his wife is of Indian descent, his kids are mixed race. He cannot defend his wife and children.
Starting point is 00:14:19 He'd rather side with Nazis and bigots, which goes to him being this giant prostitute, in my opinion. And for him to talk about normal people when the person that he works for wears a full face of makeup every single day, and now we've extended the makeup onto the backs of each hand, brags incessantly about taking cognitive exams. Lindsay Graham, the unmarried cat,
Starting point is 00:14:44 lady, Josh Holly, who can't kiss his wife, Moses, Mike Grinder Johnson, who's so obsessed with gay people, it's weird as shit. I mean, I could go on and on the fact that this man allegedly has a pension for sofas and wears eyeliner and he wants to lecture us about normal people. I mean, it's just about as rich as it gets. I mean, they are such freaks. They really, really are. I have freaks. I have to say, I have some gratitude for J.D. Vance's existing in the world and as vice president, because I have a little bit. of a witchy woo-woo side to me and like whatever energy he is bringing because he is not a good liar right like he's he can't lie the way that trump can lie and so many of these republicans can
Starting point is 00:15:25 lie right like he stumbles through it because he doesn't believe the bullshit but he's like trying so hard right like him and ruby are just trying so hard to please the king and like and yet you know from from meeting the pope and then the pope dying to dropping right the trophy like and even I think I read it in Axios this morning. There was a bit about this about how Trump is like starting to like be more vocal about like he doesn't have a shot at this. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Like it is true. Like he is there to like fumble it all. He's like kind of the court jester that's like, wait, he doesn't really fit with all of these like well, well, season liars. But it doesn't make him a good person. It makes him even worse. He's like the clown car of the worst clown car we've ever had. And I kind of like, you know, there's some comic relief in it in a way like where
Starting point is 00:16:11 We're finding it with the others, but like they actually are really like sick and twisted. And JD Vance might be as well. But it's just like he just feels like this earnest little boy that's like still looking for love and attention. And like looking up Trump's like pant leg for it and not finding it. It's just I don't know. I feel like it's useful. Yeah. And I think that it, you know, Trump presents him because the tech oligarchs purchased J.D.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Vance and installed him. And now it's obvious that Trump is rat thucking J.D. Vance. He goes, hey, you're going to be the fraud. are with the most fraudulent president ever. J.D. is going to do such a great job. He's going to wipe out the national deficit. I mean, just rat fuck extraordinary to J.D. Bans. Peter Till knows it. So he's packed his toys up and moved to Argentina. And so I think they know in many regards that their heir apparent to MAGA, Trump is rat fucked. And that's intentional by him. He is all about self-preservation
Starting point is 00:17:04 that I'm on rat fuck alert for Marco Rubio. He'll be next. They're going to wrap fuck Marco. But But here is Ted Cruz saying this is a great message for Democrats, in my opinion. Just watch this clip. I'm spending a lot of time supporting other candidates. Look, I think this midterm election is the most important midterm. We've ever seen that if the Democrats take the House, they will be nonstop impeachment and attacking President Trump every single day. And if they take the Senate, they'll do that.
Starting point is 00:17:37 And they'll also shut down every confirmation for every cabinet member, every judge. It is there. Let's go, Ted. Okay, stop there. Let me ask you this before you get into what he just said. How much money would it take for you to make out with Ted? Oh, Jesus Christ. 10 million?
Starting point is 00:17:53 No. Oh, good. You have to like days of our lives, all my children, full-blown soap opera, make-out. So I'm not really well with incentivized, but if like you said, like if we were not going to elect another misogynist man to a position of leadership in this country, I'd take one for the team. I would not. That is a patriot. I would not enjoy it. Okay. So you can tell his wife doesn't either. Well, no, she hates him, obviously. So what do you think of Ted? What do you think of this messaging
Starting point is 00:18:20 saying nonstop impeachment? Yeah. We're going to vote no. Don't you think the Democrats should clip that up and run that nads? Of course, because that's exactly. I mean, I wish more Democrats were saying that because it would rally the troops. I mean, that is, that is like we will seek accountability. We must seek accountability. And like, you know, I understand what he's saying. He's saying that's a distraction from getting things done for the American people. But I think the American people are now onto this, right? They know that they are just distracting and lying to protect themselves. And I think that's where we're in such an interesting place politically because people are so fed up. They're so, so, so fed up with the system and with the bullshitters on both sides of it, that they're
Starting point is 00:19:00 looking for system change in transformational leadership. And that is going to require bold vision, but also bold accountability. And we saw none of that in Biden's administration. None. Part of the reason we're here is because they decided to keep the peace. Let's not like, you know, let's not stir the pot. Let's move on for the American people and look where that got us. Yeah, right. It got us this.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Speaker of the House, little Moses, Mike Grinder Johnson. Here he is admitting what the Republicans want to do next year. Play the clip. And then we're going to lead up to what we have to do and address the largest spending items. The thing, the reason we're in trouble is because over 70, 4% of federal spending is on autopilot, mandatory spending. That's your entitlement programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and then things like Social Security.
Starting point is 00:19:48 They have to be adjusted and fixed. We have a plan to do that next year. And it's critical. Okay, all right, little grinder. All right, so here's my thing. I feel like these things leak about Republicans every election cycle. Okay? And then the big, beautiful bill has actually done a lot of these things.
Starting point is 00:20:06 So that means he wants to take it even further. Is this just such ambient noise in political cycles? Republicans are going to cut shit. And the Democrats are like, oh my God, rural America is going to freak out. Because I remember the signs like when Obamacare was going on of people being at these rallies, keep your hands off my Medicare. You know, we see this. I'm like, oh my God, he said that.
Starting point is 00:20:31 But how does that hit the electorate? Is it ambient noise? This is, I mean, I really don't find him to be even remotely intelligent. So I don't want to give him any credit on this point. No, he thinks the earth is 5,000 years. Yeah, yeah. And like, you know, he can't even like regulate himself to not, you know, look at porn. So he's created, right?
Starting point is 00:20:49 Oh, yeah. Like the porn monitor. I mean, he's a, he's a, that's normal. That's a incredibly weird person, incredibly, incredibly weird person. But also like, they have become so emboldened that the worry that I have about this because they have taken a lot of pain for the big beautiful bill, right? People on all sides are incredibly angry about the closure of rural. hospitals about the rising costs of health care.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Like they know they can't get around that. Now they've just added more onto it with rising gas prices, et cetera. Like they're really cornered themselves on this. So I don't know that they feel that they have any choice but to lean in further. And the concern that I have is about free and fair elections. Yes. Because to be this emboldened when this is an explicitly losing issue with voters at the polls goes to show.
Starting point is 00:21:34 And we're seeing this right in the aftermath of the L.A. mayoral race, Trump calling out saying that it's race. because Spencer Pratt didn't win by a landslide. Like they are teeing up all of these ways to suggest that the votes are not accurate, that the elections are being rigged by Democrats so they can just continue to push their agenda through. And I think that they are underestimating, as they did in Minneapolis, the backlash they will face from the American people.
Starting point is 00:22:04 It does worry me that some people aren't as clocked in on this. But there's no chance, like, that they can get away with winning elections in so many of their competitive districts and districts that were never competitive for Republicans that now are by saying that they're going to take away your Medicaid and Medicare. You're not. Like, taking anything away right now when people are struggling to make ends meet, they're furious about it. So that, that is my concern is that they're so emboldened with their agenda that has always been their agenda, but now they're just saying it outright because they're meddling with the elections in a way that. really concerns me. I completely agree and we keep watching that and I know you do too. Please go follow my friend Tara McGowan on social media and go follow Courier News. You will not regret it. She's at the cutting edge of independent media. Tara, thank you so much for joining me in studio.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Thank you so much, Jen.
