Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome, welcome to IHIP News, where we share our opinion about the news that is important to us. J.D. Vance went on Joe Rogan, play the clip. And I think that, frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if me and Trump won just the normal gay guy vote. Because, again, they just wanted to be left the hell alone. And now you have all this crazy stuff on top of it. What is a normal gay guy? That's what they just wanted to be left the hell alone. And now you have all this crazy stuff on top of it. What is a normal gay guy? That's what I was going to ask you. What's a normal gay guy? Is it, I mean, I'm just, I'm just being hypothetical here. Is it JD Vance, Josh, Josh Hawley, Lindsey Graham, and Mike Johnson? Are those the crowds of people that
Starting point is 00:00:39 hang out together where it's like, oh yeah, Trump's going to get our vote. Wink, wink. I mean, I'm not trying to out people or not, but the rumors have always been there about, you know, thou doth protest too much. I mean, what the fuck is he talking about? I have no idea. He scares me more than Trump because Trump is such a disaster as a human. J.D. Vance hides behind a facade of somewhat charming and empathetic, which we all know is not true. But Trump's too big of a disaster.
Starting point is 00:01:09 He just all his crap's on the table. So J.D. Vance, to me, is far more nefarious. I don't think there's any question. That's why you have oligarchs like Peter Thiel. I don't know if he would be considered one of these, quote, unquote, normal gay guys. He might be since he bankrolls J.D. Vance. But then you have Elon Musk and all of these oligarchs that back J.D. Vance and he was handpicked by them. J.D. Vance is on the record left, right and center talking about what a disaster he thinks Donald Trump is.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And then somehow he goes to camp over with Peter Thiel and he gets bought and paid for by an oligarch. And then he rolls out as this huge maggot, which shows you how the oligarchs of this country are using Donald Trump as a Trojan horse. And then you have Jeff Bezos, who will not endorse via the Washington Post. He puts the kibosh on the editorial endorsement. And this was the paper that took down Richard Nixon. Right. This was a paper that was this bastion of journalism. And I'm just going to say this, and I haven't heard this said that much.
Starting point is 00:02:18 I think if it were a Gavin Newsom running against Donald Trump, I don't think they would have pulled that endorsement. I think there's a lot of inherent sexism and racism in doing that that really bothered me because this is the first time we have a woman of color at the top of the ticket. And it's the first time in its history that you don't endorse a candidate when the other candidate is talking about like rounding up people and putting them in camps and everybody that worked in this man's administration with him, national security experts, department secretary of defense, chief of staffs, all of them say,
Starting point is 00:03:00 we're not voting for him. He's a moron and he's dangerous and he's a fascist. And Jeff Bezos decides to sit that out. I think what I've read is they call it pre-surrender. When democracies turn into autocracies, the billionaires are the first to fall because they want to maintain the status quo for themselves. And so what I've heard Jeff Bezos move classified and the same with the L.A. Times owner is what they're calling pre-surrender so that if Trump were to win, they're on the good side of Trump versus because they know Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris isn't going to hold this against anybody. She's a patriot, a true politician that understands, you know, you might not agree with me, but I want to be the president for everyone. So these people are cowering to Donald Trump before the election. And that is how it goes when democracies turn into autocracies.
Starting point is 00:03:59 I just read that yesterday. I think that's probably exactly right. And I think that is so disgusting that you have all of this privilege and you were able to game the capitalist system and be wildly successful. And when it comes down to it where you get to show the world who you are, you're about keeping your wealth and consolidating your wealth and you don't stand up for anything. You know, Mark Cuban has been out campaigning vociferously for Kamala Harris. And Trump just has a complete meltdown on Twitter, you know, bashing Mark Cuban because he can't understand how somebody could be principled. But back to the J.D. Vance, Joe Rogan interview. Listen to this exchange on abortion. Like the concept in the zeitgeist is that abortion had always been, you know, Roe v. Wade, always been the law of the
Starting point is 00:04:58 land. And then all of a sudden that was taken away. And you have these religious men who are trying to dictate what women can and can't do with their bodies. Yeah. Yeah. No, look, I mean, again, I understand that. I understand the push back against that. But I think you can go like with so many other issues, you can go way too far about it. And it becomes trying to celebrate something that at the very best, if you grant, I think every argument of the pro-choice side, it is a neutral thing, not something to be celebrated. I think there's very few people that are celebrating that. So there, J.D. Vance, this is why he's a little bit more dangerous than Trump, because it's not that he's empathetic.
Starting point is 00:05:34 It's not that he comes across as compassionate. It's that he comes across more of a polished speaker. Everything that he just said was a total word salad. He is trying to find this neutral ground and not take a position on it because he knows he's seen the internal polling. They're tanking with women. And Joe Rogan was 100 percent right when you have these religious men that want to control abortion are religious fanatics. And these are the same people that deny science, that deny evolution. These are the same people that the second they have a heart attack, like our governor, he goes and gets a stent put in his heart. He believes in science then. He wants the full, everything that science has learned to be able to put a stent in his heart because he eats so much red meat and all this shit all the time. So he has no problem with a doctor treating him, but he has every problem with doctors
Starting point is 00:06:29 treating women. And why is that? Why do these religious men feel so punitive towards women? Because they've been told at a very young age, when you lust after a woman, you're a naughty little boy and you shouldn't beat off and you're going to go straight to hell. So they want to be cruel and punitive towards the women that make them feel less quote unquote Christlike. All of this leads back to this Iron Age bullshit that drives the right wing of the American political movement.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Some 2000 year old book drives their entire worldview. But when they want to get outside of that book and they need a surgery or some lifesaving treatment for them or their limp dick, they're, you know, all chips in on getting Viagra and all this shit. It's just disgusting. I hope that women come out and vote because here's my thing. If you want to pick what science you want, then don't go to the doctor at all. Go to the Facebook tents with all the Facebook doctors because you don't get to cherry pick when science works for you. I've had all these conversations with people living in the Bible Belt forever. This woman had a gay son and she said, oh, I'm just going to pray the gay away.
Starting point is 00:07:47 I'm going to pray the gay away. And I said, that's not going to work. Like your son was born that way and you need to accept it and love him and not bully him. I believe anything is possible through the power of Jesus Christ. I'm like, okay, let me ask you this. If your arm got cut off, would you pray for your arm to grow back? Well, no. Well, why wouldn't you do that?
Starting point is 00:08:09 If anything's possible through Christ, why wouldn't you pray for your arm to grow back? Because even she knew the limitations of science. And so these religious nuts, if you want to be a religious nut, I'll fight for your right to be a religious nut. You want to believe all this whacked out shit that, you know, cavemen are riding dinosaurs and all this crazy ass shit swing for the fences. I don't give a fuck. Keep it out of government and keep it out of the fucking hospitals and get the fuck out of women's uteruses. For God's sake, it's just maddening. It's infuriating because at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:08:45 it's power and it's control. And I heard Trump yesterday say that he was going to put RFK Jr. in charge of women's health. Motherfucker is a lawyer. He's not a doctor. Like I get so tired of people belittling science. People died in COVID because they wanted to believe the Facebook doctors. Now women are dying. Women are losing their right to have children because these men's ego are so fucking fragile. At the end of the day, it's fragile men's ego that they don't want to compete with the woman because they think they're better than, period. I hate them. It's also that these men have been psychologically damaged by their religion as it pertains to sex. They have been, on the one hand, their body tells them, oh, look at this
Starting point is 00:09:41 woman, look at her breasts, look at her ass. She looks great. And then the drum that's been beating their head since they were four or five, six years old, is that if you look at a woman and feel that that's lust and you're a bad boy and that's a sin and you're not incurring God's favor and you're letting Satan win and you're going to go straight to hell. So there's a deeper thing besides just control. I think that the core of it is they want to punish the object of their desire, where their moms and their preachers and their dads have told them, you're a naughty little boy.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Then secondly, when women are in positions of power, when you have a board, an administrative board where you have men and women, those boards do better. Look at what all men organizations do. The Catholic Church, the Boy Scouts, et cetera, et cetera. It's not good when you don't have women in positions on equal footing with men. Those are the countries and the corporations that thrive best and promote more equality and justice for everybody. So the psychological
Starting point is 00:10:45 takeaway from the war on women right now, I believe starts with religion and ends with envy, but there's a lot of Oedipus Freudian religious crap. But at the end of the day, the autopsy on all of MAGA, in my opinion, is going to be secularism. When we start turning our back on secularism, then you have the exact same thing that Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, we're no different than that. When you start allowing religion into politics, it is a very, very dangerous and precarious position that you put the country in. And now you've got Project 2025, but that's all they want to do.
Starting point is 00:11:31 And as we've said, they're ambitious and they're organized. And it all goes back to religion. It does. All right. We'll see you guys tomorrow.
