As the absolute tragedy of what's going on in Texas, the death of children and others because they were not properly warned due to Trump's cuts to funding, Elon Musk and Trump have a stake and responsibility in this. We see the incompetence and the cruelty of the Trump administration. And first and foremost, when it comes to cruelty and incompetence and absolute just ugliness is Ted Cruz, who was able to vote against funding

that would have helped Texan. He was able to vote against that before his Grecian holiday. But he did race back. And let's see this. And Ted Cruz, he went right in there and he voted against that because Trump wanted him to and because Project 2025 demanded it. It's part

of the problem. And these deaths in Texas, we don't know that they would have still occurred in such mass numbers, but we do know that history shows us that accurate forecasts and prevention and alerting people and warning them, that helps save lives. But they don't wanna do that because it costs money. And of course, during the Biden administration, North Carolina floods, Florida floods, they had nonstop saying, FEMA's not gonna help you, Biden's doing this,

Biden's doing that. And he was going door to door to try to find ways to help people and provide for the needs of people. But that's not happening anymore because Christy Noem, who shot her dog, is in charge of FEMA now. And so they're no longer going door to door. And this is what we're getting from Texas regarding Kristi Noem's heading up the rescue efforts in Texas. Kibos, according to sources within FEMA, barely any staff have been deployed. Acting FEMA

Administrator David Richardson is nowhere to be found. If this is how they are going to do a major hurricane response, people are fucked. And then there's an article from the Hand Basket that says, FEMA response to deadly Texas floods delayed and deficient with no in charge. We would have hundreds of people on scene in FEMA jackets, registering people for assistance, regional coordination center fully activated, national at least partially activated, a current FEMA employee whose identity is to be protected for fear of reprisal, told the Handbasket. Setting up disaster recovery centers with federal partners. We've had our search and rescue there already. We would have mission assigned other agencies

like the US Army Corps to clear debris and establish power. But none of that is happening. None of that aid is being rendered. None of those people are being helped because the Trump administration is incompetent. Kristi Noem is incompetent. And. Kristi Noem is incompetent. And what Kristi Noem is doing, while this is going on,

is running around on Fox News, tooting her own horn, and posting pictures asking for crowdsource input on which should be her gubernatorial portrait for South Dakota governor. And here they are. Here are the choices. Official governor's portrait number one, it's got her on a horse looking off into the distance.

Now, mind you, people have died. Go to number two. Iceman is number three. It shows her with a darker hair, also looking off and posing on a horse with other horses in the background. And then Miss Blondie, where she's on a blonde horse, riding a horse, looking straight ahead

because she's such a fierce cowgirl. And I'm just like, is she that tone deaf? Is she that tone deaf that she doesn't realize that what she needs to be doing is activating the proper responses to help people in Texas? And then I remember she shot her family dog Cricket because he wasn't doing what she wanted. So naturally tone deaf is the least of her bad character defects and just the narcissism crowdsourcing input on which portrait you

should have. That just tells me, you think all of the portraits are so good, you want everybody to see them. I mean, it's fucking gross. And then we move on to what's going on in California with ICE. As we've reported many times, ICE has been deployed where they have created a situation and now they're going in to try to fix it for a show of strength. And we pontificate that at some point they want to declare martial law so that they can stop the midterm elections.

But you have plain clothes ICE agents and it's important to remember they are in plain clothes with masks, not identifying themselves. This is what was going on yesterday in California. She has studied authoritarianism her entire career. She says this is the autocratic playbook unfolding in my hometown. Trump is sending thousands of federal agents to storm empty LA parks, pure political theater, to stoke fear in cities that oppose him. A waste of taxpayer money and a deeply disturbing scene in any functioning democracy. And if you are listening, you will see that ICE agents

are coming in full tactical gear on horseback and on foot. And I presume they want to round up migrants now, not criminals, because they're not going after criminals, they're going after anybody with brown skin who may have an accent, because they are doing this because they're cruel and racist. And then they're sending them to, you know, alligator Alcatraz or El Salvador. They're not providing any due process to these people.

It's the abject cruelty that these MAGA triple-trumper's, that's what they like. They thought it was fine that Kristi Noem shot her dog. That was not disqualifying in their minds because they hate what Kristi Noem hates, which is black and brown people. These people have been so programmed and propagandized that they have made immigrants lower than

humans in their mind. They're willing to send human beings without due process, who are not criminals, tear them away from their families and send them to possibly get eaten by alligators or go to a concentration camp in El Salvador, and they're fucking selling merch. They're giddy about it because they like the cruelty, because they have made these people less than human in their mind. They are dehumanizing people.

And speaking of political theater, there is nothing that goes together like political theater, Christi Noem, and evangelical far-right Christianity. So the Department of Homeland Security posted this video directly on their social media. I'm gonna play it for you here. And I just want, look for the star of the video, which of course would be none other than Kristy Noe. Overs, I think about some times, many times.

We're seeing helicopters. It goes. Oh, here's Kristy. She's in the helicopter all dolled up with her full tactical theater. I said, here am I. Send me. So they're glamorizing going after humans as if they are less than human. And the Trump administration has spent and is spending more on ICE agents and detention centers than they are on providing affordable

housing for American citizens. This is not about policy. This is about hate. It's about cruelty. And Kristi Noem is the perfect person to oversee this because if she gets to dress in costume, she's all in. And killing a puppy, that's child's play for her. So when you see what is going on in the United States of America and you are not outraged

and you are not morally hurt by it, that tells me that you like the cruelty. You like the hypocrisy of being, oh, I'm such a big Christian. I want to feed the sick and help the poor. But really what you want to do is dehumanize people because you think you're better than them. And it is gross. And people's lives may have been spared if these pathetic MAGA Republicans had voted to fund protections for American citizens, but they don't because Project 2025 doesn't want them to. And then that way they can completely make the oligarchs more money and spend money on ICE agents and detention centers instead of helping the American people. That's all we have for now.
