I want to now focus on the Texas senatorial race. I'm happy that Tala Rico and Crockett are running against each other. Actually, I'm not. I think they're both such good politicians. I wish they could both be in office at the same time. So, but I do think it's an interesting race for us all to watch. It's not hungry kids. It's not working parents who work multiple jobs

to provide for their families. I agree with you that we need individual responsibility. And I don't want to create a culture of dependency. I want to hand up and not a handout. You know, I believe that you don't give Amanda Fish, you teach Amanda Fish. But if you're going to take your friend out on a boat for the day to teach him how to fish,

you want to make sure he had breakfast that morning. You want to make sure he's not sick, because that allows him to learn how to fish. Again, I was a public school teacher, so I saw how when kids showed up hungry, they couldn't learn that day. Even my brightest students, even my hardest working students,

couldn't succeed, couldn't pull themselves up by their bootstraps when they didn't have boots. That's what I'm trying to fix in this country. We don't want dependency, we want to reward hard work, and I think that should apply to those billionaires, not just working people. I thought he does, he just does a masterful job at this. And it's so interesting because I was raised in a family where, you know, welfare queens, you know, they're buying Coke with food stamps, like a real demonization of the poor.

And the reality is the welfare queens, just like he said, are the billionaires, are companies like Amazon that use all the roads, all the planes, all the trains, but yet they're not paying any taxes. is. And so I think it just says a lot about us that we're more worried about not feeding hungry kids than we are taking on the billionaire class. I mean, Trump, knowing the economy is in the shitter, won't release the numbers. He's bragging about tax cuts. And I'm like, the only people that are getting tax cuts are already rich. So it's just, it's going to take huge messaging like this, but I thought this was very well spoken and very plain language, and it hit right, it really hit right at me. Yes, and I think that this is that the way the questioner framed his question is the, as you just spoke to, the propaganda that has been propagandized in

largely Christian Republican circles where the demonization of the poor has been so, you effective as far as propaganda by the Republican Party. And that is intentional to keep our eyes off of the parasitic nature of the corporations. And so in many ways, Trump has done, he's accelerated a lot of things. And he's accelerated this incremental death meal that we were marching to giving all of these corporations power. He's accelerated it to where now everybody can see it. Everybody can see it clear as day because he's so, the Democrats and other Republican politicians were a little bit more, you know, head faked it a little bit. Oh, we do care about the working class and we're going to do this and they put some regulations on corporations, but really

not enough. And Trump is just completely ripped the Band-Aid off. And it's just full-blown. Whatever makes these corporations as much money as possible and whatever fucks over the consumer as much as possible. And just think about little simple things like air travel, right? The Biden administration had made it where you could get a refund. If you paid for a full ticket price and your flight was canceled or late, you get your money back. Trump within months immediately reversed it. And that just shows you his interests are only about helping billionaires. And the people, the CEOs of these companies make so much money. It's so disproportionate. And I have to say, as somebody who was raised in such a capitalism on steroid country,

when I first heard this statement like, billionaires shouldn't exist, I was kind of like, well, that didn't seem right. I mean, it's freedom. If they want to exist and they were able to make a bunch of money and they were smart enough to do that, well, then they should exist. That was my first instinct from somebody who's been propagandized in a capitalistic society for so long. But because my thoughts are not rigid and fixed, I really start.

started reading into it a lot to educate myself more and more because I heard it more and more. Billionaires shouldn't exist, blah, blah. So I educated myself about it. And in fact, it's right because in order to be a billionaire, you're an exploiter. You've exploited labor. And so if you think about like the CEO of Starbucks, this man makes millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars. And he is adamantly against baristas and workers at Starbucks unionizing. So he's exploiting them while he doesn't fly commercial. He doesn't have to worry about the airlines giving him his money back when they dick him over because he's not going to a commercial airline. He's not going through TSA. And he's exploiting these workers. And so the more I read about it,

the more I learned about it, the more I realized even somebody on the left side who's from a progressive a family can get propagandized into this insanity. And so this is why I'm so adamant about also focusing on the Democrats at this time. In my opinion, the Democrats could have an opportunity to go into rural counties and suburban places and red states. If they atoned, if they said, we're the new Dems, we agree with you, the corporate Dems were no different. You felt like you were picking the lesser of two evils when you went to vote, so you went and voted with the more comfortable one, the Republican. I totally get why you feel

that way because that's exactly what our party had turned into. The Republican Party's been lying to you for decades. Nothing ever trickled down. But then the Democrats start half lying to you. And I think the Democrats, just like David Hogg wanted to do, should launch it, were the new Dems-type atonement tour. And this is why. Look at this video. here. This is where Democrats are voting, have voted to confirm Trump judges that will not answer the question who won the 2020 election. We'll know who lost the 2020 election. We all saw what happened on January 6th. These are facts, but Trump's judicial nominees refused to state these facts to appease Trump. And 16 Senate

Democrats voted to confirm them anyway. lifetime appointment to a judge loyal only to Trump tell these Democratic senators stop supporting Trump's judges paid for we shouldn't have to tell Democrats not to vote for nut job Trump judges why is that even a commercial what the actual fuck is going on that they are voting for these morons? Can we have an opposition party or are they just so controlled? It's an inside job. The fix is fucking in. I don't think I've ever had more contempt for the Democratic Party than I do right now, and of which I am a member, because I look at the judicial nominations, the secretary nominations. This cabinet of Trump's is fucking bananas. I mean, they are so incompetent.

like Marco Rubio was 99 to zero. Like, are you fucking kidding me? Everything Trump puts in front of the United States House and Senate is going to be corrupt by nature. So don't sit there and tell me you're going to fight Trump when all you do is rubber stamp this shit. Same with the government shut down. Like we, we as a party had real momentum to make change. And it was Cave City. And now they've spit in the faces of all.

all those people that gave, well, you know, they said they'd talk about it. They were never going to talk about it because dear leader never wanted to talk about it. And I don't know if it's just naivete or they just don't give a shit or they still think, well, yeah, bipartisan politics. It has to be 100% hard line on everything in my humble opinion. Well, I just think you have the opposition has been controlled by the same corporations. This is controlled opposition. The people who are pulling the levers on the bot and paid for. for MAGA politicians that do the dirty work for corporations and for oligarchs also control

some of the opposition. And that's the problem. And that's why David Hogg wanted to go barnstorm through the DNC and say, we will continue to lose until we are a true opposition party. And so I want to now take a look at who should be the leader of the opposition party, who should be a household name, Chuck Schumer. Here's a video of him over the weekend. First, I'm going to say a few words about the terrible shooting in Sydney, Australia.

Okay? So, and first, of course, as I always say, no matter what, go bills. They beat the Patriots today. It's a big deal. Okay. He is terrible. He is absolutely 1,000 percent terrible. I used to say, number one, the most worthless politician in the United States of America is Moses, Mike

Grindr Johnson. And I am hereby changing the list because at least Moses Mike Grindr, Johnson, has worth to the criminals running the country. He has worth to the mafia crime boss that has dementia, swollen hands, piglet fingers running around the White House. He has worth to him. So at least there's one person that he has worth to. The most worthless American award right now goes to the Senate Minority Leader, Chuckles, Schumer. He is the most worthless man of our times and the selfishness and the narcissism to not step aside and realize this is serious. You know why? Because he's not a marginalized

person. So he doesn't he he he knows at the end of the day he and Trump are kind of asshole buddies. They're both New Yorkers. He knows Trump's aren't going to do anything to him personally and he fights accordingly. He fights like he knows this isn't ever really going to affect me. Someone are writing a strongly worded letter. He's probably doing some damage. But if we just sit back and play dumb and say go whatever was it. Go bill. Go bills. I mean, this guy is a disgrace of the highest order. He is the reason Democrats lost. He is the reason so many other Democrats follow such a puss boy path. This is a moment where we need a. politicians like Chuck Schumer to sit down and step aside. It's the most patriotic and brave thing you could

possibly do. But instead, he's always looking like a moron on TV. Every time I seem, I like him less and less, which is hard to do. You have always in browbeating the people around Trump, the people around Christy Gnome that said, oh yeah, throw in there that you killed your dog. That's great. People dig that. I question the people around Chuck Schumer. I mean, it's like, are you kidding? Nobody told him you don't start about a mass shooting with the NFL game. Like, who are the people surrounding these people? They need to go to like the whole kitten caboodle. Such a good point, Pumps. I mean, that that is such a good point. So to the people around Chuck Schumer, the people in his office, his coworkers, get him to step aside. This is serious. The Democrats could come and you could deliver

beyond a blue tsunami. You could install a generation of democratic progress if you would quit this corporate democratic bullshit and get rid of every compromised corporate Democrat and go into rural towns, go into suburban towns, go into cities, and atone. and say we left the working class voters and made you think that somebody who was a compulsive liar was a better option than us, and that's on us because we were halfway lying to. We acted like we cared a little bit about you, but we also cared for the people who want to fleece you at the same time. And until the Democrats do that, the pendulum is just going to go like this, back and forth,

back and forth, back and forth. And we could actually have an FDR-style generation. change and if you look historically at tax systems and when the most stabilizing economic growth happened it was during that period during FDR's reign and the Democratic Party is who I'm more focused on right now delivering a better option for us because if you're just MAGA light and you're like oh we're all for the corporations but if you're gay you can stay married and And listen, I don't want to be dismissive because as a person from a red state, I know how important if you're a young queer kid or a black single mother in Alabama and Oklahoma, what a difference a Democratic presidency can make in your life and prevent your horrifically selfish red state government from raining hellfire.

down on the poorest, the most minority people on the planet, because that's what Maga super majorities do and they do it in the name of Jesus. I understand that, but the centrist Democrats have left us so unsafe. And it's just time to get rid of them. Chuck Schumer, resign, resign, resign, resign. And if you won't resign, at least let somebody else be the Senate Minority Leader, somebody who's meaner than a rattlesnake with a heart of compassion. That's the combination that we need right now. All right, there are forces in the world that are trying to collude to create a new world order.

And one of these is Hungary, and it is a member of the United Nations. The president is Victor Orban. I can't remember if he's a president or prime ministers, but the leader, I forget what they call it. But he is completely in sync with Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. It's important to note that Hungary has been the host country of many CPAC conventions for a long time now, because they see Republican MAGA politicians, see an authoritarian state, that's corrupt, that doesn't really have free markets, that has more of an oligarchy, pay-to-play form of economy, they see that as where they want the United States of America.

The people of Hungary have had it, and they are out in the streets resisting. This is not getting any national attention. Play the video. You have millions and millions and millions of people in Budapest, marching because this form of government is wildly unpopular. And they are just a little bit ahead of the United States. They've had this rain for, I don't know how many years now, but Pumps and I were actually in Budapest, a year and a half, two years ago. And the book banning, you walk by bookstores, and they have covers on, you know, some title or something that they would deem inappropriate. And the thing is, you can change the government, however, you.

you want to, but a lot of things still remain. You don't un-gay people. You don't all of a sudden make people to be as religious as you want them to be. All of this anti-freedom movement just causes suffering. It absolutely does. And the people that we met in Budapest were very anti-Victor-Ban and his government. And I just look at this and I think Hungary is a relatively small country compared to the United States. And they have millions out protesting this government. And we have had two No Kings protests, you know, maybe 10 million total. We have a strong enough, large enough population that our voices and protesting matter.

Us getting out to vote matters because this government that we currently have and they have in Hungary is designed for a very few people. And we are a vast country of completely different resources, backgrounds, culture. The people are the power, not this government. But we have to show it. We have to care enough to get out and vote, protest, stand strong, resist peacefully, all those things. But it encourages me for Hungary that they're out doing this. I hope the United States will continue to follow suit.

I also just want, I think we need to start beating the drum because the midterms will be here before we know it. And the voter intimidation and suppression and masked ICE agents, it's going to be, Trump is going to get more and more unhinged and crazier about this. The people surrounding him are going to get more unhinged and crazier about this because they commit crimes every single day. So we have to start gearing up as a voting population to flood the people. polls. We have to start right now, every single listener or watcher of IHIP News and I've had a podcast, start talking to your friends about voting. Start talking to your family about voting, especially our younger listeners, Gen Z, the Zoomers, get your friends and go register and make

sure you're ready to vote and get ready with your phones for primary day, for voting, day because we have to go out so strong that even in the places where they're trying to gerrymander and cheat, that it is a complete repudiation on the evil, immoral, white supremacist, racist, homophobic, horrific. We value money over our country. We value money over human beings. We value money over our children's safety. That's what MAGA is. Maga is a party of pedophiles. Maga is a party of lawlessness. Maga is a party of anti-freedom and you need to say it all the time. Every chance you can get and we need to start gearing and gunning everybody up to go to the polls this November because they are going to try to intimidate us. They're going to tell us that it won't matter.

They're going to have tanks, all sorts of crap, but we still get to go vote. And the Supreme Court's going to try to do away with the Civil Rights Voting Act because they have absolutely not enforce laws that would keep us safe. They've moved the laws out of the way for this administration. And so we have to, when you see the, that's why I want to show you guys the video of Hungary, they have been living with what we've been living with for the last 11 months. They've had it now for years and they hate it.
