Starting point is 00:00:04 All right. I think everyone knows that Elon Musk is a thin-skinned, wildly insecure person who's constantly projecting what he's up to. Like he actually tweeted the other day, if somebody doesn't want a fraud investigation, they're clearly guilty of fraud. And it's like, hello, you're the guy who spent $300 million to get chubby fingers elected, little hands elected, so that you can go shut down fraud investigations into your companies. But sometimes he tries to poke the bear with people. And he's so outmatched, personality-wise, intellectually, and intelligence-wise. So he's been going after the CEO of Ryanair. And Ryanair is a European budget airline. And I found this clip of the Ryanair guy just giving it right back to Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Of course, Elon Musk is on Twitter throwing feces as a trillionary. does with all of the resources he has. He's chronically online. And this Ryanair CEO is not having it. Play the clip. Musk apparently took great umbrage and resorted to insulting me on X the weekend, calling me an idiot. I think yesterday he also rounded on me and called me a, I think a retarded twat. All I would say to Elon Musk is he would have to join the back of a very, very very very long queue of people who already think I'm a retarded twat including my four teenage children but we do want to thank him we've had I think over I think for three or four million hits on this seat sale our IT team launch yesterday which is the big idiot seed sale there's a hundred
Starting point is 00:01:48 thousand seats available for sale at just 1699 which just goes to show that Europe leads the world in low airfares there's no airfares like this in north America And we're later on this morning going around to the ex offices in Cumberland House to present or to give Elon Musk a free. Imagine, imagine having CEOs like this in the United States, you guys, to all of the Americans out there. And we spend so much money making these guys billionaires that this guy is so proud to offer budget flights. And that he's so proud to take on Elon Musk. really great way in a way that shows thick skin. It shows courage. It shows that he's a good, decent man. And Elon Musk, of course, he's going crazy about this. And now he's like,
Starting point is 00:02:41 I want to buy Ryan Air for $35 billion. Well, the European Union, you can't, they won't allow a foreign investor to own domestic airlines there, as he goes on to the video to say. So this is a classic Elon Musk move. He gets completely outplayed and he would never understand what this guy's saying. This guy is clearly wealthy, clearly successful and clearly takes a lot of pride on bringing a product to working class people that they can fly on his airplanes for 1699. So I just thought that that was fantastic. Moving along, this is a time where we can sit here and do, Trump, resistance rage all the time. And there's a lot of content there.
Starting point is 00:03:31 But we have to dig into what is beneath this, what is causing this. And as you can see from the first video, you have an American billionaire pitching a fit because this guy won't bend the knee to him and then calls him out online. And these American billionaires are so entitled and they've really broken our country. And so here is just a stunning graph. of the Trump regime and its capitulation to billionaires and they're plummeting of science. Absolute plummeting.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Look at this. Max Kozlov tweets, this is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. So as you can see, it's up, up up. Trump comes in for those of you that are listening and it is a complete downward cliff of just,
Starting point is 00:04:26 They have completely dismantled all of this because these billionaires around Trump, they want to control all of this. They want to control everything privately. So they've dismantled all of any scientific innovation, any scientific discovery by the federal workforce. And this is just really outrageous to me. In this country, the rich consistently get richer. the poor get poor, but most importantly, America gets more and more in debt. And the fiscal conservatives that are all for the billionaire class, all for the millionaires, no regulations on capitalism, it's me, me, me, we can't be, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:10 bothered by working class people and them wanting health care or wanting a livable wage because that would affect our businesses. All of that comes at a price, a really, really short-sighted price that our generations beyond us are going to have to pay for. And Kylie, put up the tweet first. So this is Trump's first year in two headlines. The first headline is U.S. billionaires get $1.5 trillion richer in one year under Trump. Another headline, same day, is Trump added $2.25 trillion to the national debt in his first year back in charge, watchdog says.
Starting point is 00:05:50 So this is where it takes me and my brain back to what Bernie. Sanders was saying in 2016 and the seeds that he was planning. What we're doing with this unregulated capitalism that is rigged for the very few, it has to be paid for at some point. And this national debt that is okayed and rubber stamped by the Republican politicians that campaign on fiscal conservatism and they use that as kind of an emotional blackmail with white voters, kind of upper middle class voters, to say, we have to conduct business and we're fiscally conservative. These liberals are so insane. They want to spin, spin, spin, and the opposite is true.
Starting point is 00:06:39 The Republican Party allows all of these businesses to not pay taxes while working class Americans are paying it. And here's the bad part about all of this. If Elon Musk had to pay more in taxes or Jeff Bezos had to pay more or any Mark Zuckerberg, name a billionaire in the United States, their lives would not change. Their lives just would not change. That's how wealthy they are. And yet we always give deference to these people's needs as though they should be prioritized
Starting point is 00:07:14 over everybody else's because they have more money in their bank. And it's really a travesty and a cancer in this country. And so many people that I know buy into this narrative. I'm fiscally conservative, but socially liberal. The thing is fiscal conservatism is a lie. It is a lie. The Republican Party has been telling people for decades. And what it does is it provides a permission structure for people to just
Starting point is 00:07:43 be overtly greedy and unpatriotic and not care about who pays for something down the road. Because this trillion dollars that they, the richest people in the United States, in just 12 months, that's obscene. And then this fiscal conservative and all these people all over the United States, country club Republicans that claim they're fiscally conservative, you had $2.2 trillion dollars to the deficit in a year. It's so incredibly obscene that our country is so in debt and makes so much money, but we placate these billionaires into thinking they're entitled to whatever they want in the country. Whatever you want you can have. But the working class people, we're going to call you lazy. We're going to call you parasites. When we all know clearly off of those
Starting point is 00:08:37 stats, the parasites are the billionaires. And then we have a government of the billionaires by the billionaires for the billionaires that have been brought to you by the Supreme Court of the United States of America via Citizens United. And I want you to put this up, Kylie. Here's a graph. Billionaire spending in presidential elections before and after citizens united. The ruling was in 2010. And so as you can see, 2012, for those of you listening, was $231,000, $682,000, $21.2 billion, this last cycle, $2.24, $2.6 billion, $2.6 billion spent on presidential elections. And I'm going to say something here that I think America needs to reconcile with. Our presidential elections or any elections are too long. We are always in a permanent
Starting point is 00:09:34 state of campaigning. And I do not think. that these politicians should raise that much money. That is so incredibly obscene. But, Kelly, if you put the graph back up, if you look at that final graph, 2.6 billion, it more than doubled from the last election cycle, billions of dollars. Who is benefiting from this? Who got a trillion dollars richer? The top 30 richest people in the United States of America, that's who. And so the Citizens United ruling has been, if we were to fast forward 20 or 30 years from now, that's going to be one of the things that people identify that really broke this country. And that was long before Trump descended on that escalator, us constantly valuing corporations over human beings,
Starting point is 00:10:22 the needs and desires of corporations over human beings. our minimum wage is an international laughing stock. Our national debt is a laughing stock. Donald Trump is completely decimating all of the pillars of our economy right now. And our former allies are all going to seek partnerships with China, who is more stable, not so dramatic, doesn't have a dementia-ridden nut job narcissist who will not shut the F up about the no Nobel Peace Prize, they're making long-term investments, and we are no longer that. And so all of these people in America, and I've known so many of them from living in Oklahoma, that sell out morally and they sell out people they love morally so that they can vote for
Starting point is 00:11:14 this lie that Republicans are fiscally conservative, which is a proven lie, Republican presidency after Republican presidency. But they choose not to see the truth because it's a allows them a permission structure to be greedy and racist. And it's really a stunning indictment on the American population. And as we get out of this, we have to realize there is a part in all of this stuff with Trump that has come from the American people and corporations that have fed into this. And in order for us to fix it, to live in a stable world, we have to be intellectually honest with ourselves, with our loved ones and with our politicians,
Starting point is 00:11:58 that we cannot be a society that values money over human beings. And I can't tell you how many people I personally know that do that. And when I have a conversation with them, like they'll just say, well, no, I just, I think the liberals, you know, it's just tax and spend or I'm just a fiscal conservative. And I say, oh, okay, so you value the profit over human beings. They always go, well, well, no. But that's exactly what their vote is.
Starting point is 00:12:27 And this is an argument that the Democrats can use to brand Republicans as the party that cares more about money than human beings. And look no further than what's been elected here. This, that notion of caring about money more than human beings is on steroids in the Trump regime. And then lastly, this is something I thought we could analyze together. This, I believe is from the Atlantic, which I'm kind of on the, I'm not a big Atlantic fan. I don't think they're doing that grade of journalism, but that's just me. But pop this up, Kylie. This is an excerpt from the article.
Starting point is 00:13:03 They say, since Trump's return to power, I have had a recurring conversation with diplomats, Democrats, and certain Republicans. They have all repeatedly told me a version of the same thing. During Trump's first term, they believe that his election was an aberration and out-of-character mistake that would soon be corrected. But one year into a second term, they now think, that Joe Biden's 2020 victory was the aberration, and that Trump's reelection is not a fever dream,
Starting point is 00:13:31 but rather a reflection of the country at this moment. And I have to say, I think this is true for some people that are beholden to corporations, but this is not true for all of us that go to these No Kings marches, millions of people. This is not true for the people in this community. That is such a piece of people
Starting point is 00:13:53 That is such appeasement. And the fact that the author of that said he's spoken to Democrats who say that, that this is where the American public is now, that kind of death kneel and capitulation and acceptance to the moral depravity tells you how change the Democratic Party is to and how full of shit they are when they tell us they care. And it also explains why we don't see a resistance from leadership despite the electorate begging for it. Because in many ways, they are bought and paid for just like Donald Trump is.
Starting point is 00:14:33 They're all prostitutes. And it's incredible to me. It's absolutely incredible how quickly these people change once they're in office, which brings us to we have to have term limits. And I don't think that these politicians should be able to trade stocks. If you look at the age of a lot of the serving senators on average, we need new young blood. This country has serviced boomers and even Gen X, my generation, very well. Millennials in Gen Z are struggling.
Starting point is 00:15:08 They see an incompetent government, insane president of the United States, a dysfunctional media system, wages that are abysmal, a Supreme Court that's out to lunch, a Congress that has no balls whatsoever, a Republican Party that's just overtly racist, overtly greedy, and a Democratic Party who's every bit as greedy, but tries to shroud it and cloak it and we're not as bad as they are. And we believe in democracy. And I think, I just think that there's a huge awakening happening. And what that article says, that just we cannot let that. We cannot let that. that be true? Because in that article, they are out there saying, these are the voices that matter. The diplomats, party leaders, and industry titans, that is such a small percentage of the American population, such a small percentage. There are literally hundreds of millions of us, over, you know, 340 million people in the country that absolutely do not believe that and are not that flaky and that just absolute no courage or conviction about what we stand for. And so if that's true, if that's where the Democrats are, number one, it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:16:32 It makes perfect sense that's where the corporations are, as we saw by the donations. It makes perfect sense that's where the Republicans are. But the Democrats, this is going to be a time in this midterm elections, when people are corporate Democrats, it has to be disqualifying. It absolutely has to be disqualifying. We have to take the power back from these corporations and demand rights for workers, livable wages for workers, health care, and start blaming the people who are truly the parasites, who truly are taking your jobs. And it's the billionaires.
Starting point is 00:17:09 It's never been the immigrants. It's never been the black people. It's never been the trans people. It's not the gay people. It is the greedy-ass corporate class. And there's not very many of them. And they rile us up, getting mad at each other so that they can add to the national debt while they travel around on their multiple private planes and their yachts. It is obscene beyond anything imaginable, the reckless capitalism that has been unleashed in this country.
