The Epstein files have a very difficult time going away, and that's because some Americans actually care about crimes, exposing them and shedding light on the injustice.
Aaron Parnas with some bombshell reporting. Play the clip.
Donald Trump got hit with some bad news on his birthday morning as members of Congress say that they are pledging mass investigations of the president, his family, his businesses, and Epstein hearings on day one.
Congressman Robert Garcia confirmed to notice that should Democrats take power in the House of Representatives, they will launch a massive investigation to the president and his family and his businesses over corruption.
They will launch obscene hearings on day one.
Okay, this is incredibly important.
And this is all the reason that everybody has to turn out and vote in droves.
And they're even suggesting that even some states like my home state of Oklahoma, that voter registration among Democrats,
is at an all-time high, which is music to my ears. But let me tell you how bad a headwinds
a Democratic candidate would have in Oklahoma. Here is an actual commercial for a viable candidate
for governor. His name is Charles McCall. Play the clip.
Call and let me be perfectly clear. Cutting this banana does not make it an orange.
Charles McCall, pro-Trump, anti-woke. Gender is God-given. And there's only
only two of them.
Okay.
So that like that somebody's running and that's like, hey, vote for me.
It's just utterly insane that there isn't a Democratic Party in the state of Oklahoma because
that is utterly insane.
But there is a candidate, a Bernie Sanders backed candidate who is running for the district
that I used to live in in Oklahoma City.
And his name is Trey Martin.
He's a Democrat running for Congress in Oklahoma's fifth congressional district who is backed by
my guy, Bernie Sanders. Welcome, Trey. How are you? How are you? Thank you for having me.
I'm so happy to have you. I just want to review with our listener. Oklahoma's ranking. So if anybody in
Oklahoma is upset about the way Oklahoma is being run, the only party you can blame are Republicans.
They control the House, the Senate, their federal senators and Congress people, the governor,
the Supreme Court, all Republicans and have been for 20 plus years. This is what Republican policies
get you. 50th in education, 50th in women's health care and safety, 47th and overall health and
well-being, eighth highest poverty rate in the country. It sounds like that trickle-down stuff really is a
lie. And the highest rate of domestic violence in the country. Good old MAGA values on full
display. What do you have to say about that? The status of what Republicans have done to the state
of Oklahoma. Oh, it's just, it absolutely blows me away.
You know, and they keep trying to attack our public schools in different ways with the voucher programs and just just bringing us down further and further.
Man, I don't know why more people aren't frustrated and getting out to the polls and changing these things.
But I think this year is a big year for that.
And all the talking I've been doing around the district, everybody's really frustrated right now.
And so hopefully we can start to make a change.
There's a lot of great Democratic candidates running.
And we can flip this over, you know.
If you listen to Republican candidates in Oklahoma, they make it sound like there is an army of trans and gay people running around killing people in the state.
And I lived in the state for 50 years.
I never saw such a thing ever.
And in fact, most of the gay people or trans people that I knew had Maga Christian parents just by virtue of geography.
When you think about who talks about culture wars the most, in my mind, it's Republicans.
I've never seen anything like it.
And definitely, Oklahoma is completely weaponizing these culture wars because MAGA Republicans in Oklahoma have been unable to deliver materially to their constituents.
What's your take on that?
Yeah, no, I think you're absolutely right.
I think it's fear mongering.
It's a distraction tactic.
Yeah, no, I mean, our LGBTQ communities are not harming us in any way.
They're just, you know, a regular part of society.
And, yeah, they like to attack because there is a subset of Republicans that, you know,
maybe they're religious fanatics or something, whatever.
But, yeah, they'll definitely jump on that boat if somebody wants to complain about somebody
who's living different or not how they approve, you know.
And this is fascinating.
Trump is losing white working class voters on the economy.
Pop this up.
In 2018, white working class voters approved of Trump on the economy by plus 30.
Now they disapprove by as much as that margin in some polls.
And so as we see what Trump has done, some of these blue states are getting a dose.
But Trey, you and I that have lived in Oklahoma are,
are acutely aware of what Republican policies do.
Because I just mentioned to you the rankings.
You may remember Brad Henry when he was governor in the early 2000s.
We were ranked 14th to 17th in education because of Mary Fallon, Kevin Stitt,
and Republican leadership and supermajorities in our state.
We are now ranked 50th in education with these imaginary made-up lies that kids in Oklahoma
are taking a shit in a litter box, which is completely redact.
ridiculous and that they're teaching trans ideology in Oklahoma schools. And I'm like, if you've
ever been to Oklahoma? Like, it's so insane. As you've been hitting the campaign trail,
have you spoken to Republican voters? What's the temperature on the ground in such a red,
red state? You know, I've been really surprised about that with Republican voters. They're not,
The people I'm talking to on the ground that really matters that are really voting out here,
they're not talking about trans issues.
They're not talking about, you know, fear of LGBT people.
They're talking about the economy, like you said, and they're really frustrated with what's going on,
with how the Trump administration has just torn down so many things and jacked up our gas prices,
put us in war, jacked up the prices on everything, from, you know, your groceries to your daily necessities.
And they're not helping anything at all.
This big, beautiful bill, which is taking funding from, you know, health care and public schools and just everywhere they can.
They're just trying to really destroy what the American dream really is all about.
And people are starting to come around and people are starting to really realize that.
And I think that's why this is such a huge year and why we may really see that blue wave this time, you know.
So I remember during Trump 1.0, the midterms rolled around.
And my husband, Josh and I were in our bathroom in Oklahoma City, and they were showing all the results.
And there was the big map of the United States.
And there was this blue dot in 2018 in the district that we lived.
And I was like, Josh, look, look, because you never see that.
Like, it's always red.
And it was Kendra Horn.
And that's the district that you're running for.
And Kendra did a phenomenal job.
But after Kendra won, they gerrymandered it.
They fixed the district so that they captured a lot more rural area.
And let's show the map before when Kendra was able to win.
So, listener, there is Oklahoma County in the center,
and you can see how the county was,
it's in the center of Oklahoma City,
and then it went to the east.
And then they added, after Kendra won,
to get the state back to this woman named Stephanie Bice,
who currently holds this seat.
and they captured all of this rural area.
And Stephanie Bice, I've seen her standing behind Donald Trump,
which how a woman could go into the White House
and stand behind this man after all,
everything that he's done to women,
specifically in our state,
because you have a political party in our state
that gives rapists more rights than rape victims
with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
You have a governor, Governor Kevin Stitt,
who Oklahoma's ranked 50th,
in women's health care, he wants to make it worse.
We're already rock bottom.
So what does he do?
He bans Roe v. Wade.
And sadly, what's happening, Trey, is a lot of families in Oklahoma that church-going people,
Republican people, because that's the only option they've ever been presented.
They have an eptopic pregnancy or they have some sort of issue where the doctor is like,
normally I would have to do an emergency DNC.
And they're unable to do these things.
or somebody has been raped
and these women are unable to access
a private doctor's appointment
because of women just like Stephanie Bice
because of women in Oklahoma
who have betrayed other women in Oklahoma
and Stephanie Bice is a woman
who knows in that district
the women of Oklahoma City
are furious about her support
for Donald Trump
and yet she goes and slips off
and votes with him all the time.
What would you, if you win this seat,
if this blue wave comes and I mean,
Trey, I will be the happiest Oklahoma on the planet if your seat goes blue, truly.
What will you do to fight for women?
Oklahoma is ranked 50th in women's health care and safety.
Dead effing last.
And nobody is even talking about this.
Yeah, it's really crazy.
You know, I was just touring the YWCA the other day.
And I heard a really sad statistic that a woman was more like.
likely to be sexually assaulted in this state, then she has to graduate college.
And, you know, they're, I don't know, they're not enough words that can be said about it.
We've, like you were saying about, you know, them taking away abortion rights, it has
affected other areas, too, you know, even like IVF clinics were on the verge of shutting down
because they're, you know, they don't, they don't know if they're going to go to jail for doing
their job, right? And yeah, so I would do everything that could to, you know,
bring back women's rights to the entire nation, right? I don't, this, this law, how they pass this,
banning Rovers Wade, it's just done so much more harm. And, you know, I really hope that people
are starting to realize that too, you know, just, for one, just taking away that right is horrible,
but also what does it lead to? It leads to, you know, sometimes young women are self-performing
and hurting themselves. Sometimes, you know, people are having to travel out of state to have
something done. I've even heard of women getting sepsis because they can't have a, you know,
a inviable fetus removed. And yeah, so that's one of the things on top of my list.
Healthcare and women's health care is vitally important to this nation for sure.
And then let's talk about how hypocritical Oklahoma Republicans are. I mean, just in one hand,
they weaponize and they use their Bible and they use people's faith to say,
how am a good Christian guy vote for me?
Then they turn around and vote for the rich to get richer.
They abandon the marginalized.
They do everything that is the exact opposite of what the alleged Lord and Savior is promoting.
And here's a guy right here.
He's an Oklahoma congressional candidate.
Pop this up.
A Trump-backed congressional candidate has been caught sending a former Miss Oklahoma
USA a series of intimate text messages, prompting his wife to brand her a home-wrecking whore.
Jackson Laymeyer 34, the Tulsa Mega Church pastor, whom Donald Trump annoyed it a MAGA warrior last
month faces a torrent of his own text messages obtained by the Daily Mail ahead of Oklahoma's
first district Republican primary on Tuesday.
And this story surprises me zero.
because when I hear an Oklahoma politician say, I'm MAGA, I'm pro-family values,
faith, family freedom, I know immediately that they're a freak because everybody's for family.
The reason they say that they're pro-family is it's coded.
They want to say only certain types of families.
They want to be exclusionary in that language.
If you have to wake up and say, I'm against child sex crimes, I oppose family.
values. Nobody's going to do that. So the fact that they have to point it out all the time,
to me, it surprises me zero. And I am so sick as an Oklahoman is seeing these types of candidates
go in and enrich themselves and they just, they're such bullshit artists with all of this family
values stuff. And then you find out behind the scenes, he's doing a slap and tickle with Miss
Oklahoma, which I really don't give a shit about because I'm not a religious hypocrite. What I care
the most about is the hypocrisy. And it seems like there is a culture,
rot in Oklahoma of politicians just like this.
We heard of our governor commuting the Senate,
like letting a woman completely out of jail,
who practically killed another girl in a drunk driving incident.
There is just such a rot of corruption
with these MAGA Republicans in Oklahoma.
Yeah, it really is.
It's just like I said, it's complete bullshit.
They play this Christian card just to, you know,
there are a lot of Christians here that are real Christians
that are great people.
But these people, these politicians, these Republicans that claim to be, they couldn't be further from what a Christian really is.
You know, it seems like they hate the poor, they hate the sick, they hate immigrants.
And, you know, I don't know about you, but that's not in the Bible that I read when growing up.
You know, and then, you know, like Donald Trump to present himself as a Christian and, I mean, everything he does is completely, I'm becoming even a decent person, let alone a Christian.
And certainly I'm becoming of a president.
It's, I don't know how they keep getting away with using that line and still getting votes from the actual good Christians that are here in Oklahoma.
It's, uh, it, it's really sad and it's just, it's just manipulation straight out.
Because, Trey, I think we need Democrats to call them out.
After you when your primary, I want you to go full tilt on Stephanie Bice and call her out for being a hypocrite and pathological liar that she is.
It is so disgusting to go into these rural parts of district five.
and use people's faith and Christian signal to them and act and use this coded language and then
turn around and F these people over so bad their wages never go up their schools are now ranked
50th 50th for women eighth highest poverty rate in the nation and they have everything the
Republicans she Stephanie Bice has a mandate to deliver for Oklahomans and with people like that
it's just a race to the bottom all right let me ask
you some yes or no questions to wrap up rapid fire.
Abolish ICE, yes or no?
Yes.
Tax the rich.
Yes.
Cut off military aid to Israel, both offensive and defensive.
Yes.
Rejecting corporate PAC money.
Absolutely, yes.
I love it.
Okay, listen, Oklahoma, Trey Martin, what do you have to lose?
This guy believes in something.
He answered yes or no questions.
which is so refreshing because politicians can't tell our fellow Oklahomans that live in your district,
how they can help you, and where to go vote for you.
Yeah, so absolutely, you know, the primaries are tomorrow, which is June 16th.
And yeah, just get out to your polling places.
If you can, if you believe in what I'm saying, please volunteer with us.
We're doing phone banking all day tomorrow.
And just get out.
We have to change this state.
We have to change this country.
The Republicans are leading us down a horrible path, and it's not going to get any better unless we actually show up and vote.
And, you know, I just encourage everybody to do that.
Trey, thank you so much.
I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you for spending time with me.
And I really, really hope you win.
And when you win your primary, we're going to take out Stephanie by.
She's done nothing but damage, Oklahoma.
You hear me, Stephanie.
That's right.
We will take your ass out.
All right.
Thanks, Trey.
