Welcome, welcome to the Weekend Read, aka Welch's Lemonade, and Don Lemon is live and right outside the Capitol. One could say a crime scene that happened on January 6th. Yeah, you're right. And a crime scene now because it's a crime that Congress is not in session, that they sent them home because they didn't want to vote on Pete Heggsett's impeachment. By the way, Jen, I kid you not. I am not, this is not hyperbole. I'm not making it up. I'm not boosting anything everywhere I go. Oh my God, I love Welch's Lemonade. It is my Friday treat. Most of them are young women, right?

I get some dudes to gays, but mostly like young women are like, I love the Welch's lemonade. So we're on to something here, I believe. And we're on, we're hip with the young kids? Yes, we are hip with the young kids. Oh, I would love it. Welcome. Welcome.

Yeah. Okay. Don, let's talk about this story. I know you're aware of it. Ed Shearan, MacLamore, etc. So Ed Shearan has lost 200,000 followers on Instagram. MacLamore then donated a million dollar salary from the tour to a pro-Palestinian cause. And then following the backlash, Ed Shearin and Robert Kraft, and Robert Kraft and Anne Shearin, or you may remember the two that tried to censor Maclemore's free speech.

Now, they have each donated $2 million to humanitarian aid. But what's so interesting about this is we came across this video of Colin Kaepernick chiming in. And I thought this was really poignant. And I think your take on it is going to be equally as poignant. Kylie, play the clip. I hope people appreciate and take away in this moment is what Robert Kraft and what they're saying by denying McElmore the opportunity to go out and perform with Ed Shearing is they are willing to collude. They are openly colluding. And when we filed the grievance, it was like, well, the owners wouldn't do that.

They, you know, everybody just wants to win within the NFL. And the realization is, no, they want to protect their interests. They want to protect their power. They want to protect their money. And they also want people to know that if you take an action that they don't agree with, they will come for you. And that was some of the warning coming out of the protest and some of the warning coming out of the grievance is that they will organize against you. Don, I thought that was really interesting.

He drew the parallel with what they did to him. They organized against him to silence his speech. And now Robert Kraft and NFL owners organized against McLemore. How much time you got, Jen, and I'm being serious, because I know a lot about this. I got all day, darling. All right, let me go. So I know Colin Kaepernick. I produce a documentary on Colin Kaepernick.

Last time I saw Colin Kaepernick was at a mutual friend's wedding, I think it was a year or a year and a half ago, maybe two years. And I know Robert Kraft, Robert Kraft and I are sometimes run in the same circles of sorts influential people in media. them. And when, if anybody knows about being silenced and people colluding against him, it is Colin Kaepernan. And so he has inside knowledge and he has personal experience with it. And so when the whole NFL kneeling thing was going on, I reached out to Bob Kraft and I said, Bob, you should just sit down and talk to Colin Kaepernick, because, you know, I think that you too, whatever. And I

tried to broker some sort of piece there or something, right? And it never happened with Bobcraft. Bobcraft did the same thing to Colin Kaepernick, or I should say same thing to McLemore that he did, or very similar to Colin Kaepernick. He is supposed to be a person, and if I saw him, I would say the same thing to him, who believes. he says he wants to broker peace he wants peace in Israel he's given this money to palest to Palestinian people could have done that a long time ago he's one of the richest men in the world right he's a billionaire he could have done that a long time ago but in that whatever he's he's saying that he stands for that's not

being realized now he is actually made the situation worse I believe for Jewish people, for the people of Israel, because he's brought attention, more attention to a subject that may have not been on the minds of many people. I like McLemore. I like Ed Shearhan. They haven't been on my playlists in a long time, but you'd better believe I am paying attention to it. And a whole lot of people who were not in those stadiums and those isolated incidents that McElmore said what he said. And now the entire world is finding out about it. at shiren's band is now saying they're not going to appear other major opening acts are saying they're not going to appear so basically shiren is um he's is he's it's a one-man band so to do it is a

one-man band um jen this is a tough subject to discuss as i said because i know people and it also involved you know religious ideology and people will say oh my god you're anti-semitic I'm the furthest thing from anti-Semitic and part of a black Jewish alliance. So it's not that. But sometimes your friends hold up a mirror to you and they tell you, hey, you need to pay attention to this. Perhaps you are too close to it to understand it and to see what is going on. And I believe, sadly, many of my Jewish brothers and sisters are too close to it. Because if you look at the polling, it'll show you how people feel about Israel, how people feel.

how people feel about Jewish people in this country. They face a lot of anti-Semitism. So I think that Bob Kraft may be, he may be perpetuating some of that by doing what he did. We don't believe in silencing people. Artists, Jen, forever since you and I have been alive. They have been speaking out on issues. They were anti-war. They didn't like Vietnam.

They spoke out on Iraq. And artists are allowed to do those things. And they're saying people weren't going to buy tickets or they were threatening to it. These are sold out concerts. The people had made up their minds. They were there to see McLemore and Ed Shearin. And so I don't understand their logic and saying, well, people were threatening to leave or whatever it was. The venue owners, the venue owners should understand people had already made up their minds.

And I want my Jewish brothers and sisters to understand that right now there is a toxicity around Israel. Whether they want to admit it or not, whether that is right or not, whether it is fair or not, it is what it is. And so stop shutting people out and trying to shut them down and claiming that any criticism of Israel and the Israeli government is anti-Semitism. It is not. I didn't hear anything that said on that stage that was anti-Semitic. Not one thing. And he apologized before for something, but I didn't see. He said, I'm not, I'm not disparaging the Jewish people or the Israeli people. I want peace for everybody.

And so I think they should be bringing people in instead of shutting them out. And I think Bob Kraft has made the situation worse, a situation worse in two ways that he is, the stricent effect, gain more attention. and he are not helping, he is not helping the Jewish people and Israeli people understand how many people in society see them now beyond anti-symese. No, I'm really glad you did because I think this is really important that we all talk about and we not be scared to talk about it and we not feel like, oh, if we step into this, we're going to be called that, blah, blah, blah. No, we have microphones and we should talk about these issues. It's our job to do it. And oftentimes politics and pop culture collide. So let's start with how these things age. Colin Kaepernick started taking a knee to draw attention to the fact that his black brothers and sisters are being over-policed and that there was a different policing system for him than there was for white people.

And this was before we all saw George Floyd suffocated on our cell phones. This was before that. So when I look back on all of that, Colin Kaepernick was right. He was on the side of justice. He was on the side of shining a light to help those that didn't make it out of the neighborhood that he grew up in. And he said, I made it here and I've made it. And I'm not going to just Michael Jordan it and say, I'm not going to talk about politics. I'm going to be involved here because I have that opportunity to do it.

And that type of conviction and that type of principle, I'm so down with that. And so now let's jump to McLemore. and how this is going to age and how it's already aging. There are over 20,000 kids that have been killed in Israel, I mean, in Palestine. Gaza, in Gaza. And these little kids, a lot of them, have been shot in the head and in the heart. A lot of them have had amputations done without anesthesia. And these are just really stomach-turning things.

And they need to be criticized. And that needs to be called out because we have to advocate for innocent children. And I always think I'm going to start calling this the Miss Rachel standard. You know, Zoran Mom Donnie when he ran for mayor, he centered everything on affordability? Miss Rachel centers everything on child safety. Kids having food, kids feeling safe, kids not getting shot, kids not getting arms and legs amputated. And she just centers that and she does it over and over. How is that going to age? It's going to age really well. We know that,

because that's the position history is never going to be kind to the oppressors but I always think it's assigned to when people try to control speech what are they trying to cover up and in both of these instances they tried to shut up Colin Kaepernick because he was flying too close to the sun he was about to he was shining a light on something that they knew was wrong and the same thing if somebody hears the phrase free Palestine and they get triggered by that That's about them. That's about their journey with where they are in life. It is with what we've seen and you've seen all the aerial footage of all of this stuff,

it's just something we should talk about. These people are marginalized. These people are exploited. These people are getting killed. And the killing still continues. The stuff that's going on in the West Bank is just awful. And I admire people that have conviction and stand on it when the easiest thing for him to have done, to have done would have been, I'm just going to stay out of politics and go collect my million

dollar check and just go on. But he couldn't put his head on the pillow at night if he did that. And I fuck with people like that. I think that is awesome and that's the type of person that I like. This has nothing to do with Jewish people and everything to do with criticizing Israel. And as an American, I want to say this, criticize my government, criticize my country, criticize the portion of the electorate that voted for this man because it is a cancer. Criticize every single bit of it and I will join with you because to me, that is true patriotism and that is a true exercise of if we believe in liberal democracy and we want to save liberal democracy, we are never on the side of the speech censors ever.

And nothing he said was offensive and he gets to say it. And now again, all of these NFL owners, it goes back to the word own that. they think they own people's thoughts. These billionaires have all this power that they can start silencing and closing people's mouths. And in closing, I just want to say this, to your point. College students, for as long as I've been alive, have done mass protests against wars. That's not new. It's about the same as college students smokes weed. It's that big of a newsflash. They believe in that. They're young. They are discovering their own opinions. That should be celebrated. And likewise, artists when they have a microphone get very involved in human rights and I I dig that I think

it's great because I truly love free speech very well articulated one thing as you know these billionaires these oligarchs he's very rich people they operate in a in a vacuum in a they're in a bubble and they often don't understand the language and the sentiment of the streets. And if you have your ear to the ground, you would understand what people are saying about what's happening in Gaza just because someone says, free Palestine does not mean they mean jail Israel. It's not what they're saying. People are worried about humanity, about treating people humanely. One thing I want to say is, you know, we're in a, and what people don't understand now is we're in the era of precision warfare, precision warfare, precision.

weaponry. If you can locate people and place beepers on them and blow them up, surely you can find a way not to injure or maim a child, an innocent child, and not kill people indiscriminately. And look, excuse me, October 7th was awful. Hamas is to blame for what happened, not the average Palestinian person. And no one has forgotten what Hamas did. It was horrible. It's horrific. Jewish people face anti-Semitism, and it has been on the rise.

But let's remember this. When I said about friends, when your friends hold up a mirror, sometimes, and some people, when your friends hold up a mirror, you criticize them, you call them anti-you or anti-this or anti-that. The biggest purveyor of anti-Semitism is right-leaning on the right, neo-Nazis, proud boys, people who are marching through the streets, domestic terror, which Cash Patel was just here on Capitol Hill testifying about, people who are hurting and killing Jewish people because of anti-Semitism. That's far worse than someone saying

free Palestine. So you're not criticizing your enemies and the biggest purveyor of blatant, brutal, violent anti-Semitism, but you're calling people who I guess they deemed to be on the left and young people, you're calling them anti-Semitic when all they're saying, is we want the people of Palestine and all over the world to be treated humanely. I don't understand it. I don't understand it. Well, it's, yeah, it's this is, you know, we have a fascist government, Israel has a fascist government. Benjamin Netanyahu, as you know, is reporting, they told him about October 7th. He funded October 7th. And as the camera lens draws more and more and more into focus. It appears that he, and this is just my opinion, he wanted that because they

want to raise Gaza. And that's before you even get to Smotrich and Ben-Gavir down the line and it just gets really, really dicey. But we also, as we talk about anti-Semitism, before we leave this subject, I do want to say Islamophobia is something that is just accepted and never called out in this country. And you see those attacks on Zoran Mamdani, you see those attacks on the squad, You see those attacks on Abdul al-Sayed. You see that attack on any Arab-American, Muslim-American. They are conflated with being jihadist. And they are, you know, Zorn Mamm, Doni was happy on 9-11.

He was nine, nine years old. And so I think the most important thing that we can do is value fighting against all bigotries equal. Homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, racism, racism, racism, racism, all of those things, sexism, all of those things, because none of us are free until all of us are free. And we have to practice a politics that is inclusive of everybody. Now, I want to, that was very good. We wanted to show our audience at Welch's Lemonade that we can be serious and talk about serious things. And that was serious and we mean every word of it. But it's time to get to- And we can have tough conversations. And we can have tough conversations, yeah.

Yeah, some peptide, but something, look, I'm not a plastic surgeon. I'm not a doctor, but I have eyes, and something is going on. I don't know what he got. Maybe it was a, what do you call the thing? Yeah. Okay, so let's stick with this track. Now, somebody who I think could use a facelift, if he could survive the surgery, would be brain dead Mitch McConnell returning to the Senate this week. Let's go ahead, just play a little clip for Don here. I'm sure you've seen this. Here we have a...

Senator McConnell that they are weekend at burning all over D.C. And both parties do this. Both parties have people that need to call it and that should have called it 10 or 15 years prior. And we mean no disrespect to any boomer that is in our show and that watches our show. But this is a real problem. This is just elder abuse. And here's the deal. I mean, hooked up to truth serum, if somebody said, do you think Mitch McConnell deserves to be abused?

I'd probably, yeah, I think so. But this is not good. This is insanity trotting this man around like this. Well, Jen, let me just say. Did I lose him? No. Okay. Restart that.

Oh, wait. No, I'm proving a point. I'm proving a point. Oh. I'm proving a point because I'm proving a point because how uncomfortable that is. That's not normal for someone to do that. It's not normal for people to freeze. And on my show, the first time that we saw him freeze,

it took about 15 seconds for someone behind him to even notice for John Thune to jump in. And then it happened again, and it took a long time. And he's like, I'm fine. And he couldn't say anything. So it is obvious that there is something he is incapacitated. It's obvious. And I'm here on Capitol Hill. and I've been asking people about it,

and they've been treading very lightly. Some people have been, you know, very candid about it. But at a certain point, as you said, you need to bow out. Yeah. And for, I spoke to Jody Ernst and she said, oh, I'm glad he's back and I did this. And I had some one said they had a conversation with him. I'm like, well, we haven't heard him speak.

I haven't, unless I've missed it. But when I look at that video, I realize that is how he's going to be remembered. is from that video. And also, did you see the vote video when he's voting?

Gene? Unbelievable. He voted and they kept saying everyone's like, say, I, I, and he gets to him

and he says, nay. Seriously, and then they have to tell, prompt him again, and then they said, I, and then finally he goes, I.

So he's not even with it enough to be able to vote. The other day I said it was elder abuse. I don't know if it's elder abuse. I think it's cruel that they're allowing it to happen, but he's a grown man. He's been doing this for decades. And he is going to be remembered for those last moments. Also for what he did to Merrick Garland, but for those last moments looking like that and trying, you know,

but something, the man is incapacitated. And I don't believe that he has the capacity to be able to. to serve well the people of Kentucky. And I want this MFER to be remembered for the Supreme Court that he assembled, that is killing women right now. These abortion bans all across the United States are killing women. Women are dying in the richest country in the world because of Mitch McConnell and the corrupt freak show Supreme Court justices that he appointed. That man has blood on his hands, his policies led to deaths, which brings me to a sentence.

Mitch McConnell is a killer. His policies kill people. And I just also want to point out, based on the video evidence we have seen and discussed about the vote, I think we can conclusively say that Lady Jennings lied his ass off about the 20-minute conversation that he had with that guy, two and a half months ago, you talked to that guy for 20 minutes, the lying of Scott Jennings has been exposed. And that MFER, Scott went out and took a victory lap after he appeared. And I'm like, I don't know if that was the best move because now we all know for sure you didn't talk to that.

They're using him. Yep. He's not a useful incapacitated person. And because they need the votes, they can find someone else to step in as a Republican and do it. Let's look at her great optics. I think it's cruel. Let's look at how great the optics are for us. Mitch McConnell, that's MAGA.

Donald Trump, falling asleep, droopy face. That's MAGA. These are your big guys? These are your big tough guys, MAGA? That's what you're going to go vote for? These guys? They both appear to be incapacitated. And so does Donald Trump.

He can't remember where he is most of the time. They had so much ire and so much to say about Joe Biden and whether Joe Biden was had cognitive, was in cognitive decline or whatever. Look, if we all are lucky enough to live long enough, we're all going to go into cognitive decline. But at a certain point, you have to realize that it's time to go and rest and have a seat. Donald Trump is an 80-year-old man. He's showing signs of how an 80-year-old man operates. He can't keep, you know, he can't distinguish between Nancy Pelosi and, um,

And, and Nikki Haley. You know, he can't, I think he wants to name all of those things, the Gulf of this and the golf of that. So, because he wants to remember what it is, because he doesn't, he can't remember the actual name of it. That's what he's supposed to be the Gulf of Mexico. It's just easier if it's a Gulf of America. You're right.

Because he did put, he put a sign outside the Oval Office, the Oval Office. Yeah. Like he needed to know that. Yeah. Along with that tacky gold shit so that he could think like he was. somewhere in Versailles or something. I don't know what's happened. Okay, so this is a really interesting story here. There is a Republican candidate, and this is in a Republican plus 15 district.

Republican plus 15. She should not have to make an ad like this unless they came to her with some polling that was abysmal. Play the clip. President, some of your immigration enforcement efforts have gone too far. In July, 50% of the 50,000 people that were detained had no criminal record. Be careful what your advisors are telling you about immigration policy. The same Hispanics who help you get to the White House in 2024 feel betrayed today. You can be for immigration when Lincoln was for slavery and Reagan was for communism.

I'm not talking about giving them amnesty. I'm talking about giving them a dignified life in this promised land. I am Maria Iovirus Salazar and I approve this message. plus 15 plus 15 that's not good jenn and look someone was giving me the stats this morning here in washington i think it was like 43 percent of women voted for white women voted for donald trump at 47 percent i believe of of Latinos voted for Donald trump and now they fucked around and they found out that it doesn't matter no matter how close they try to get to whiteness or power that they're not going to be they're not they don't deem them

as American and on equal footing. So what do they do? They deport them in the most inhumane, cruel ways. They drag them across the ice. They shoot them. And maybe some people who are not immigrants, who are not Latino, who are not immigrants or migrants from other countries.

It's just, it's awful, but they found out. And I think they're going to, they are going to find out, there are going to be a lot of people like her, Smith Salazar, coming up. in November of 26. A lot of folks like that. Your friend J.D. Vance or Donald Trump, people aren't going to want them to come and stomp for them and campaign for them. No way. The public sentiment is too awful.

What I thought was interesting about this commercial, aside from he had signs, mass deportations now at the Republican Convention and all that stuff, set that and put it aside, was the way she framed it. Mr. President, you need to talk to your advice. about your immigration policy. I remember the Republican Party being the buck stops with me, Mr. Personal Accountability Bootstrap kind of party, right? Even in that ad, the codependency and the toxicity of telling the president of the United States that the buck doesn't stop with him with his immigration policies,

that they're still providing cover for him and that is just, I wonder what the reasoning of that was. Is that because true social over the weekend, he might just really pummel her, so she was providing cover there? Just how they always are still somewhat bending the knee. He's in charge of his immigration policy. He's the fucking president of the United States. There's no advisor that he couldn't fire immediately if he didn't like what they were doing. What do you think about how she framed that?

I think it's weird. Why does she just say, Mr. President, your immigration policies, your deportation policies are cruel, instead of saying, you know, oh, my gosh, you need to talk to your advisors. He's the one that's advising. He's the one that told him, I want you to be harsh. I want you to get him out. He's the one that said to a crowd to be rough with people who are in the crowd, told police officers to be rough with people.

He told him to knock their heads off. Those are his policies. Well, speaking of him, and a really interesting story, it appears that Pete Hexeth has not invited. Trump to an event he's having at the Pentagon. And this is how I read into this. He's explicitly saying Trump is not invited to this event. Pop this up.

The Pentagon is asking commanders to nominate troops to Pete Hegg says state of the force address this September and says the service members must be waste to height requirements and exhibit impeccable grooming standards. I didn't know that Pete had it in him to troll the president like that. like that. He is the commander and chief of the military. I'm picking up what you're putting down now. I can't believe the disrespect from the Secretary of Defense

to the commander in chief to troll him like that. You must have height to waste ratio. We all know he's just as wide as he is tall. Impeccable grooming. You've seen the undended makeup, the diaper and all that shit. I did not

think that Pete could go that gangster. Jen, you are genius. Because I was like, wait, what is she talking about? Yeah, he's basically trolling the president. He's basically trolling Donald Trump. I do believe that Donald Trump is wider than he is tall. I do believe that. Come on.

What did he say he was? Did he say he was 185 pounds or something? Six, three, two, ten or something? Girl. Let's talk about, like, this is what's so fascinating for me. They're always into all the aesthetics. You know, like RFK, the Maha movement, Pete Heggseth, you know, he wants everybody up with gender-affirming care. And then Donald Trump has a neck vagina, literally a vagina hanging from his neck.

The weight gain in the last few months, have you seen that didonk, da-donk? I have, but his bodonky donk, his bodonka dunk. Yeah, but I mean, it's also been enhanced by a diaper. Do you think we have a colostomy bag? I don't know if it's a colossomy bag, but I do know I have a senior dog who has to wear a diaper. And you already, you know, and it's like, oh, time to change, right? Because it gets a little poofy. And so we know when we see the poof that something has happened, perhaps, in those pants.

But in all serious about Pete Hex, Seth, I brought this up, tongue in cheek about the president. But also to point out the hypocrisy of that, that he is out judging the way these career, military people that are seasoned and devoted and probably like their jobs. And they're getting picked or invited or disinvited. When the commander in chief is the biggest slob in the world, I can't think of a bigger slob. I mean, apparently he's all fluffed up and bedied McDonald's all the time. But this is nothing new for him.

If you've ever, if you knew how he ran his businesses, especially Trump Tower, he only wants good looking people. He likes, he's always, even when he was. on celebrity apprentice. I didn't watch it, but I look good friends with the people who put him there. He always liked he wanted good people to work around him and to have a certain aesthetic. And we know that's true. Look at who he hires. He hires television people. He has people who are telegenic, usually he hires people who are telegenic, especially in the first administration. Now, you know, I don't know so much about, about JD Vance and Pete Hakeseth. I mean, I don't find them

attractive at all in any way. But it's nothing new for him. And these people are out there putting their lives on the line. They could be the ultimate sacrifice. And you think you want them to have with and height proportionate weight? How about you stop putting them in harm's way? How about you stop sending them off to Iran and a war that there was no intelligence that said that it was imminently needed? Why don't you stop that rather than wondering if somebody's a little too fat or a little too thin or maybe even transgender. Like, worry about fixing your own house and getting our men and women in uniform out of danger. So you just brought up the transgender issue.

And the senatorial race in Texas, the Mag Christian government is having a very hard time dealing with James Telerico because James Tallerico centers his faith and tells the Texas electorate that his faith informs him. to stand up for people that are bullied and marginalized. And they have called him trans, gay, all sorts of things, and meaning it as a slur. But then at some point, like his girlfriend appeared and she's hot, and then they basically were like, oh, yeah, he's also a womanizer, so they can't pick Elaine with him.

But of course, J.D. Vance jumps into this on Twitter. Pop this up. So you see R&C Research tweets, James Tala Rico says his favorite drag queen is Alyssa Edwards. who has described himself as a drag performer that works with children. And then J.D. Vance reposts it with a rather queenie facial expression, if I say so myself. And then, of course, Stephen Miller has to chime into this too. They tag team it. Talafriko is deeply sick and disturbed individual.

Okay. Number one, if I'm J.D. Vance, I would sit this out. I would just really sit this out. You wrote in your book that you told your grandma you thought you were gay when you growing up. Maybe sit it out. And then Stephen Miller talking about deeply disturbed individuals, sit that out. I mean, I think even we could get massive bipartisan support that Stephen Miller is a deeply disturbed individual. Let me just go with first the trans and cross dresser or drag queen part. So I hope when we edit this together, you also put.

up the picture of J.D. Vance dressed in drag when he was in college. Do you remember that photograph? Yeah. So with J.D. Vand dressing, bad drag, J.D. Vance, let me just say this. So J.D. Vance once was maybe gay. And then he said, okay, I'm straight. Maybe he was trans, because he dressed up and he was a crossdress. So let's put it that way, a drag queen. And then now he's against drag queen. Okay. He was, I think, a product. Then he became Catholic. His name was a different name, and then he changed it. He hated Donald Trump. He called him Hitler, and then now he loves him.

J.D. Vance has no convictions, no morals. He is an empty suit. He is a McKinsey consultant's idea of what a politician should be. He, I believe he is every day, every time I look at him, I'm like, oh, I wonder what consultant firm created J.D. Vance in a lab because he never answers a question. And I can tell that it's consultant driven because every time you ask him a question that's hard or he doesn't want to answer, he says, well, I don't believe the question is not that. I believe the question is and then he answers something else. Consultants tell people to do that. So J.D. Vance doesn't know who he's an empty head, he's an empty suit, and he has no morals and no convictions. He has no business being the vice president of the United States, and he definitely should

not be the next president. That's all go with that one. That's enough for me, unless you get me teed up on something else. No, I think that is the perfect place to leave it. I'm so happy that you are boots on the ground in D.C. Thank you. And Jen, you know, I think this is the most important thing for me. is that like to get out and talk to people.

It's real polling, real people polling. Yeah. Well, I have to say something that I'm going to share with the Welch's Lemonade viewers. During the 2024 election, Don and I filmed together in New York. And he was really amping up his man on the streets, not just in New York, but all over the country, driving all around the country, doing it. And I was like, so I think Con was going to win. And he goes, grab my hand. And he said, she's not going to win.

I'm pulling. I'm on the streets. There's so much enthusiasm for him. It's just not showing up in the polls. I hate to say it. It makes me sick. It makes me sick to my stomach, but he's going to win. There's something out there that's happening.

And another person that I interviewed the same day, you know, the good liars, they do all of that man on the street stuff. And they told me the same thing. So people that are out in the streets doing what you're doing, I think really have a pulse on the electorate on where the people are. And so in that vein, let's leave our listeners with this question. I heard what you said in 2024. So I'm going to ask you this. How, who do you think is going to win the midterms based on your anecdotal, man on the street interviews, man and woman on the street interviews?

Democrats. So it's completely changed. It is completely changed. I don't put, Democrats, let me put a caveat there. I know you're asking me a very direct question. So I will answer and I will say Democrats. if it remains the way it is, if it remains fair. I don't put anything past this administration to try to influence it, to try to steal it, to try to suppress votes because they've already tried it.

The courts have even helped them with gutting the Voting Rights Act. Didn't help them with mail-in balloting. And so when I saw Jen, that ruling come in for mail-in balloting, I said, the party's over. The jig is up. If it remains the way it is now and remains fair, Democrats will win 2026. They'll take back the House, maybe even the Senate. Don, I love it. I really, really hope that happens.
