All right, Donald Trump's approval rating has finally hit below 30. It's coming in at 29%, but here's my thing. We've got to do better than this. We've got to get that down to the teens would be average. We've got to get that to single digits. This is unacceptable. Pop this up. Trump overall job approval at 29%. Trump approval on handling the economy at 26%. Josh, Is this finally going to be the Republican administration that shows the American public that Republicans are terrible with business and Republicans are terrible with managing the economy? You know, the base, the MAGA base, they don't really care if you protect pedophiles. They don't really care if you erode people's civil liberties. They don't care about any of that.

But if you start getting into their pocketbook, if you start causing them to lose money, then what do you know? It seems like there might be a little bit of a ripple in the MAGA crack facade of base supporters. And it seems like, based on what I've seen, that there's been a dip in approval amongst Republicans, I think. It's falling from 52 to 41% in one poll. And even MAGA identified support dropped from 72 to 61%. So what you're seeing is these people that are hardcore MAGA, seeing some of them peel off because it's hitting them financially. Unfortunately, they wouldn't peel off for any sort of moral reason. It just took the fact that, hey, this is costing me money now, and I can't do it anymore, despite the fact that I will morally bend the knee to you on every single issue. That's the sickening part to me, the disgusting part. It's absolutely disgusting, but it's a part of our culture. We have valued money over human beings. And the Republicans, Democrats have done that to an extent, of course. And I pick that up a bit there, but not nearly as bad as the Republican Party has. The Republican Party's mantra is money is the absolute. It is the end-all, be-all of everything. And my hope here is that the Democrats stop listening to these Democratic strategists that are marching us, this death march to the center. And they claim and they start messaging, Republicans are terrible.

terrible with the economy. Terrible. In my lifetime, every single Republican president has tanked the economy. Every single ensuing Democratic president has recovered the economy and built the economy. And the Democrats need to own this. They need to message this. They need to own. We are better at business. We are better at the economy. And then this is some really sad stuff. ICE continues to shoot people. And a new video shows. an Austin man after being shot by ice. Play the clip. Oh my god. Okay, for those of you that we're listening, it's a video of a man who is on his knees in handcuffs with a bullet wound in his back and his hands cuffed behind him. His name is Raphael Garcia Perez. He's a Venezuelan immigrant who is in the country

legally on a work permit. He was delivering food for DoorDash when ICE shot him. If this doesn't send chills down every person's spine based on what our government's doing here. And if you watch this video, if you've read or followed this story, you know that Mr. Perez, he drives for DoorDash. He's in this country legally. He is shot while sitting in his car. are from behind. He has a bullet lodged in his back, right near his spine below his neck. And of course, ICE claimed that there was a foot chase involved in this, and what do you know? A civilian took video of what happened. There's no foot chase. This is terrifying. These agents, they're rogue thugs. This is domestic terrorism is what this is. They are murdering people.

They're a lawless agency. The thought that this happens in day-to-day America, and what we think of as a democracy is a farce. We're losing the title of having a democracy. When you can execute, basically shoot, murder your own citizens without any oversight and any investigation as to why it happened. That is frightening. Frightening. And if Democrats don't seize on this, I remember back, in January, when this bill first came up to fund ICE initially, we had seven Democrats

that voted in favor of that. And then it went to reconciliation and ultimately passed that way, and it was a straight party vote. But we had seven Democrats last January, if we can't get in front of this in a very unapologetic way and say these people, these agents are domestic terrorist, plain and simple, with a badge, terrorist with a badge. And I think the Democratic positioning needs to be we will defund and dismantle ice and we will also prosecute ICE. These are crimes. They need to be held accountable. We cannot Merrick Garland this situation. Rafael Perez's attorney spoke out about his current condition. Play the clip. Wilbur is doing terribly. He was in the hospital for only four hours yesterday.

And he reported today that the doctors didn't talk to him about his condition, that every time there was an update about how he was doing, the doctors and the ICE agents would go out into the hallway. And he was in immense pain and was transferred into ICE custody without pain medication with a bullet lodged in his back. He reported to me this morning that he was bleeding, that he was not on pain medication. And I just heard through Congressman Castro's office who had a staffer visit him that he has lost movement on the entire left side of his

body. Josh. So this story goes from awful to worse, believe it or not. The reason why this man is presumably paralyzed on one side of his body is because he got approximately three or four hours of medical care for being shot in his back near his spine. Then they took him immediately into ICE custody where he should have been receiving medical treatment, but he didn't. So now he's paralyzed. And guess what, too? Ice has an administrative policy that they don't have to wear body cams. Otherwise, you could just ask these cops, hey, let's get your body cam footage. Let's see what happened. Well, guess what? These domestic terrorists, these ICE agents with a badge, they get to go terrorize people,

shoot people, murder people. They don't have any body cam. And another thing about this. Guess who investigates these shootings? Ice. They investigate them and or another federal agency under the thumb of Donald Trump or Mark Wayne Mullen or whoever. So there's no investigation. That's what makes people mad. That's what tells you we no longer live in a democracy. The things that you see here, people talking about how democracy is slipping away, it's gone. It's gone. Watch things like that and realize who, who, who, is going to check that agency, who's going to do anything? No one. It's gone until we take action. And we can get that back in November. There was an interview with Alex Preti's parents, the

man who was murdered by ICE. And it's really heartbreaking because normally we as Americans are hardwired that if there's injustice, there will be an investigation. That's the, you know, the policy. there's been no investigation. The people who murdered these people or attempted to murder these people or who have killed other people, they just get transferred. They do, the Catholic Church this thing. They know this person is, should not have a firearm. They know this person is psychologically imbalanced in a hot head. And they know that this person probably broke the law and they just transfer them to another place, much like the Catholic Church did, with pedophile priests. It's corruption from top to bottom. And then we have, on top of all of this, all of these things, Josh,

really merged together. And one guardrail that we have always had in the United States is the press. If you think about what took down Richard Nixon, it was the press and a Republican Party that had a set of balls that wasn't soft submissive trad wives like the current Republican Party is. And so they have been the MAGA billionaires, feel aggrieved, even though, you know, the system has been completely set up for them. And they have been capturing and buying up all of the media. And the Paramount, Paramount has reached a deal, pop this up. Breaking, Paramount reached a settlement with the states that sued over its... It's Warner Brothers buyout clearing a path for the merger, an AP source says.

Josh, it's my understanding that these AGs had a judge that was ruling in their favor as they went along, and it looked like they could win this and that they have now capitulated. That's true. And they had a very favorable ruling up front. I mean, they had the law on their side, and everyone's kind of scratching their head thinking, why are these states now settling that? I mean, this is just the good part of it. And unfortunately, for me, if you're just looking at it like we are from the sidelines, it seems like this is another example of a Democrat who's in a position of authority to fight on behalf of the American people, or in this case, his constituents in the state of California,

and try to keep the Trump administration from monopolizing the market. And what do they do in this situation? in a lawsuit that has merit that's supported where you've received favorable rulings in front of a favorable judge, what do you do? You bend the knee out of nowhere. You've been the knee. Why? Because I'm going to presume it's because these people have other aspirations. I'm going to presume this attorney general wants to be governor. And he feels like by doing this, he's going to be able to line his pockets from these people that have this kind of money. And let's not forget this. And this is just a theory of mine. But Gavin Newsom is technically being investigated by the Department of

Justice as we speak. And that's what Donald Trump does. He weaponizes that department to say, and I can imagine something like this happening saying, hey, if you get everybody to lay down on this merger, I'll call the dogs off of you with DOJ in their investigation. He does shit like that every single day. That's like a prime. tactic of his. And that's why having the DOJ is that kind of a weapon and using it in that way, which no president has done before, is so powerful. Because even if Gavin Newsom is 100% innocent, you get a bone thrown at you like that to where you can cut a deal. You know what a long investigation looks like. So there's that theory of it too. And it makes no sense why it,

stage of the proceeding, they would just cut a deal. They didn't gain that much from it at all, and the law was on their side. So it's disappointing to say the least. And here's some analysis on the Paramount merger. Pop this up, Kylie. Today, billionaires have yet again bribed, which is kind of what you were saying, Josh, censored and bullied their way to the top. As a result, a billionaire media conglomerate closely allied with the president will soon own one of its closest rivals, including some of the nation's most critical news outlets. Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund will co-own these outlets to Saudi Arabia who funded 9-11 layoffs will follow. People from L.A. to Atlanta will lose their jobs. Small businesses will lose their contracts. Your

cable bill and movie ticket will be even more expensive. Descent against money and power will be even harder to find. And I want to read that final sentence again. Descent against money and power will be even harder to find. And Mark Ruffalo has put his neck out there. He's a man that of conviction that believes in universal human rights, that believes in this industry, that believes in the power of the journalism and documentary films. And these billionaires don't want these stories told. And here's what Mark Ruffalo had to say. Pop this up. Gavin Newsom hands huge win to Trump and his billionaire cronies. So Josh, sticking with this theme that the DOJ is investigating Gavin Newsom and Gavin Newsom potentially could be, you know, a 2028 candidate. But more than that,

in the immediate need, because we know that MAGA always thinks short-term impulsivity, I think you might be right. And of course, this is just analysis. We don't know this, but it does seem that you're a criminal defense lawyer. You know how these things work. You lay down and we'll call off the docks. Well, you look at it. And that's Donald Trump's number one leverage tactic. So he's now got these agencies that have an vast, enormous amount of power. Like, you can't imagine what it's like to have FBI agents or the Department of Justice investigating you. I mean, it's an enormous amount of pressure. And I think he's had, Gavin Newsom has had several staffers, one at least that's pled guilty to various things. So I'm sure it's not beneath Donald Trump to do this.

We know that he does it every day. Sometimes he does it on true social. You know, I mean, he doesn't run from this stuff. This isn't some secret. And I'm not, you know, some rocket scientists for figuring this out. Like it would make perfect sense that if he had something on Newsom, like he tries to get on everybody else, that he would say, hey, I'll back off this thing in exchange for, let's this deal go through. because why do all these people just capitulate and bend the knee out of nowhere when they don't have to unless they have to or unless they decide they have to.

And this attorney general, he's got aspirations to run for governor, I think. And so what does he want to do line his pockets with a lot of campaign contributions from these large corporations that are at play here, right? It makes perfect sense to me because I can't understand it otherwise. I think even the Attorney General said at his press conference that this deal never should have gone through. However, we're going to agree to let it go through. Right. I mean, it's illogical.

There's some other motivation, like most things in politics that you and I try to dissect, there's always some other motivation that's a layer or two away that we don't know about that's really driving the force. And 10 times out of 10, that force is money. And the betrayal from Democrats in these situations is much bigger for me than the betrayal from Trump in these dipships. I expect Donald Trump and all of the people surrounding him to wake up every single morning and say, what are the worst decisions we can make today? And then make those decisions. And then the next day outdo themselves. But these Democrats who lie and say that we've got to get money out of politics. and Donald Trump is a fascist and the billionaires have too much power and we need to tax the

billionaires and then serve up and assist. And again, I want you all to remember these billionaires are not earning money the way you earn money. This is exploitation. This is backhand deals for them to capture, they want to capture all of the American media. And I want to remind you, these billionaires are far more dangerous than Donald Trump. They're younger, they're richer, and they intend to exploit as much as they possibly can. It's not enough what they already have. They're going to create AI robots to take even more wages and more jobs and then tell you it's the immigrants and all of these things, which, by the way, all of these billionaires have exploited immigrant labor more than anyone. So, all right, that's some pretty uplifting stuff. Make sure we do,

have us. We do have us, you guys. We do have these primary votes in November. And we have to send a message to MAGA, which they're starting to get right now, 29% approval rating, L-O-L. But we need to send a message to these billionaires that we hate them. We hate your guts. We think you're liars, cheaters, exploiters, thieves, and morally bankrupt dipshits that sit around and act like victims all day, every day. We're on to you and we're going to send you a message.
