Starting point is 00:00:00 As we've been reporting repeatedly, there are fissures in MAGA. Trump's policies, because he has zero conviction or loyalty to anyone but himself, he continues to piss on the people that support him. And now he is saying groceries is a new word he just came up with. And what's affordability? Who cares? Like, he's so out of touch with real people, everyday people that have mortgages and car payments. So Laura Ingram has been all over the news this week because she really hit hard against Trump. I've read so many articles that said Laura Ingram really went after Trump on Fox News. Okay, well, this is an example of how she went
Starting point is 00:00:47 after him. Housing costs are still out of reach. And another thing that your administration is trying to tackle many Americans, the average age of first time home buyers are now up to age 40, which is sad the country you and I grew up. I inherited that. Look, you have to understand. Right, but let me get to the question, though, because your housing director has proposed something that has enraged your MAGA friends,
Starting point is 00:01:10 which is this 50-year mortgage idea. So a significant MAGA backlash, calling it a giveaway to the banks and simply prolonging the time it would take for Americans to own a home outright. Is that really a good idea? It's not even a big deal. I mean, you know, even from 40 to 50,
Starting point is 00:01:28 years. And what it means is you pay, you pay something less from 30 that some people had a 40 and then that. Nobody had a 40. All it means is you pay less per month. You pay it over a longer period of time. It's not like a big factor. It might help a little bit. But the problem was that Biden did this. He increased the interest rates. And I have a lousy Fed person who's going to be gone in a few months. Is it unbelievable? Okay. That's plenty. Twice. She said no, it's 30 years. She's like, no, no, no. It's 40. People have 40s. Biden did this. I mean, This is the guy in charge of the U.S. economy. And we wonder why it's going to hell in a handbasket.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Might I remind everyone, he bankrupts casinos? I mean, we are going the way of his casinos. I think that this is a real window into how he does business. Yeah. Immediate gratification, damn the consequences. And for him, it's not a big deal. So what? I mean, it's a little bit cheaper now.
Starting point is 00:02:24 He never thinks about making anything whole. He doesn't understand that for the average working family, that owning a home and getting a 30-year mortgage and then maybe some months, like, hey, we can chip a couple hundred in this month to get at the principal, that it's kind of a big life goal, that it's kind of their asset. And then they leave it to their children as it's matured. He doesn't understand that because he only sees what's in front of him. He only sees the shiny object. And right now, the banking industry was able to go in front of him to say, oh, my God, you're so great. Countries on fire.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Hottest thing ever. It was dead last year. You, Oval Office, fab, love the presidential walk of fame. FYI, got a fix for you. You could be an even greater president. Do 50-year mortgage. And it's going to make people's payments dollars. It's no big deal.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And he's like, oh, yeah, that's great. Let's do it. He, that's the extent of his depth. That's it. That's the way he's conducted as businesses. He's lied about his financial statements. Making whole is not a part of his body. Like he would never think like a normal person would.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Like our goal is to pay off these debts so that we can make ourselves whole. He doesn't have that inside him. And then MAG is also mad about something else. They're mad that the Chinese are coming into U.S. universities. So Mag is mad about this too. Here we go. Black colleges and universities would all be out of business that you would have a system of colleges and universities. So we're dependent on China to keep our university system going? But I think it's good to have, I actually think it's good to have outside countries. Look, I want to be able to get along with the world.
Starting point is 00:04:17 They're not the French. They're the Chinese. They spy on us. They steal our intellectual property. Do you think the French are better? Yeah. Really? I don't know. I'll tell you, I'm not so sure. We've had a lot of problems with the French where we get taxed very unfairly. Is it just the casual racism by Lori Ingram there? Is that just that's okay on Fox? I guess they talked about killing homeless people, but just the casual racism like that. It's just, these are just such unsurious people and they have such serious and kinks. He has such a serious job that affects the quality of life and the treatment of others. And she has such a huge audience and doesn't care about humanity. She doesn't care about all the working class people that go and consume her hate. It's just so sad that so many people have lost loved ones to that fucked up channel. And that Rupert Murdoch and all of his kids continue to get tax loopholes.
Starting point is 00:05:17 It's such, it's really, really sad and disgusting, that whole thing. That whole interview makes me sick, pumps. It's sickening. And she's getting like, she's the one that push back on him. Like that is pushback on Fox News. It's so gross. The racism? No, just correcting him because they usually let him run wild. But the racism, Laura Ingram is a female in a primetime slot on the news. And she platforms people that are anti-womened. I mean. And she's unmarried with children. With children. And she goes right down the line with these people. So I don't. get it. I do not understand it. Okay. And then how many years have we been hearing about Trump's new health insurance policy? I mean, 10. Okay, tee it up. Just talking about recently, I'm talking about for years they've been going up. And he said premiums will go down. Everything will be wonderful. It's horrible health insurance at a very high price. And what I want, and probably what
Starting point is 00:06:17 you're alluding to is the fact that I want, instead of going to the insurance companies, I want the money to go into an account for people with the people buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody's going to be happy. They're going to feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out and negotiate their own health insurance. And they can use it only for that reason. That's subdued only for that purpose. And if we did that, that would be so exciting. Call it Trump care. Call it whatever you want to call it. But anything but Obamacare. Obama care is a disaster just like he was. was as a president.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Everything goes back to Obama for this man. I think you're right. I think it's penis envy. And I'm like, bitch, we have health savings accounts. Like, what you're proposing makes no sense other than what already exists, a health savings account, which is a supplement. But here's the thing. As long as you call it Trump care, he doesn't give a shit, as long as it's not Obamacare.
Starting point is 00:07:15 That's why he's mad, I think. Well, and Trump and, and, Trump. the people surrounding him, don't have to worry about their health care. But at one point, J.D. Vance had to. J.D. Vance grew up with a mother that was an opiate addict, and I had a great impact on him. And they were beneficiaries of food stamps, aka SNAP. And it's amazing to me, because I remember when Obama ran against John McCain, and he spoke about health care, and he spoke about his mother, and that she was sitting getting cancer treatment, with file cabinets like little bins, going through all of the loopholes of the insurance,
Starting point is 00:07:57 trying to figure out if she could get the care that she needed, the chemo that she needed, how much it would cover. It left an impression on him that while she's trying to get better slash dying, she had to navigate through this horrific health care and the inhumanity of that and the injustice of that. And Kinks has never had to experience that. Howard Nuttlick is never had to experience that. Stephen Miller has never had to experience that. But to my thesis that capitulating to Trump makes you a worse person, J.D. Vance knows exactly what it's like to be poor and addicted or, you know, things didn't fall your way. And he turns his back on all of those people because Peter Thiel made him a millionaire. And he goes and sells.
Starting point is 00:08:51 working class people that he grew up around down the river. And Obamacare is far from perfect, but just a personal story that I can share with you all of how much Obamacare affected my family. So my husband was an opiate addict. And the first time he went to treatment, it was really expensive and insurance didn't cover it. And we put it on a credit card and it took me forever to be able to pay that off. We were young and broke and we had a baby. And then he relapsed. And a lot of people that are drug addicts relapse. And it was so painful. It was one of the most painful things I've ever been through. But when he relapsed, Obamacare had come through. And Obamacare mandated that insurance companies had to pay for drug rehab because it was a disease. It was a medical
Starting point is 00:09:37 condition. And so my husband was able to go back and we paid, you know, the minimum versus tens of thousands of dollars. And he was able to get inpatient care that he desperately needed to treat his opioid addiction and because of that he's sober now and my kids have a dad and so many people died because of addiction still die especially because of the opioid addiction and there are things that that people like jd vance just forgets about and he becomes a worse person but you always have to remember where you were at your most vulnerable and remember that people are in that state right now. As I'm sitting here telling you, a success story from this, there are people sitting in America right now who loves somebody who's addicted to drugs,
Starting point is 00:10:28 who wants to get them help, who doesn't want them to die, or they've relapsed and they need to go detox. And J.D. Vance forgot about that. An addiction is not a Republican problem. It's not a democratic problem. It's a human problem. That's just one example of how Obamacare affected our lives and so that my children have a sober dad. And that's a big deal because a lot of people died because their families couldn't afford to send them to treatment. So I just think you have these people in charge of the country that do not have any idea what working class people go through. And all they do is sit and nitpick and browbeat people that are in poverty or people that have addictions or people that are sick and it's really disgusting and if that's who you
Starting point is 00:11:20 are as an american if you vote for people that do that we're just different i mean you're just not like us i mean you know to quote kendrick lamar i mean i'm just i don't get that like j d vans is such a horrific person because he knows he's he's suffered he's seen it and he comes out of it and then he just knifes the people that are still suffering because he thinks he's better. And it's just so gross. It's so gross. And health care, you know, as Democrats, we want to protect people's health care. And they're saying, oh, no, it's for, you know, illegal immigrants. You can't go to the hospital, all this stuff. It's about health care. People now will have to pay double and triple their health care because Chuck Schumer and his buddies caved like a cheap suit. And,
Starting point is 00:12:12 And people will not be able to have health care. And their only option will be emergency care. And guess who doesn't care? The billionaires on Trump's cabinet and Donald Trump, of course, himself. So that's just the uplifting story of the day. But my whole point in that is MAGA, they will gut you every time. So if you're supporting them and you're raw MAGA, they will gut you. Just give them long enough.
