Welcome, welcome to IHIP News, where we share our opinion about the news that is important
to us as we keep beating the drum towards November 5th.
It's important to continue to point out the craven, depraved America that MAGA, that Donald
Trump and all of his followers want.
And I want to play this clip for you from the architect of Trump's deportation plan on 60 Minutes.
We have seen one estimate that says it would cost $88 billion to deport a million people a year.
I don't know if that's accurate or not.
Is that what American taxpayers should expect?
What price do you put on national security?
Is it worth it?
Is there a way to carry out mass deportation without separating families?
Of course there is.
Families can be deported together.
All right.
So there you have it.
Here's where you're going to have immigrants that have a child that
is an American citizen. And this child only knows, being an American, only knows English.
And this has been their only home. And they're going to deport them all together. And you heard
the sociopathy in his voice, the lack of compassion. So, listener, this is who Trump is surrounding
himself with. The Stephen Millers and this sociopath, Kevin Roberts, Project 2025,
loony tune, wackadoodle religious people like Moses Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House.
These are the worst people that America has to offer that are organized and plan on mass roundups.
And I have to tell you, when they find out that it's $88 billion to deport them, I don't know that they're going to do that.
Here's the thing.
They have no plan.
If they had had any sort of a plan, they would have looked at the numbers.
But instead, he goes to, oh, well, what's your price of national security? What the fuck are
you talking about? I think you're missing my point here. They're going to round them up,
pumps, and concentrate them. Right. And then they're going to say, we don't want to spend
all that money to return them. And we look back to the 1930s at what they did. They are mimicking everything that the Nazis did.
You think they're just going to leave them indefinitely in these internment camps?
I mean, you know what happened in World War II.
Yeah.
And so I just think when you look at the language and how they have used the Nazi playbook and
the propaganda from the jump, from the moment he came down that escalator, and all he's
done since then is anybody that provided a guardrail, he has shed.
And then he has even more sociopaths surrounding him.
I don't think it's hyperbolic to say at this point that they would have zero intentions of flying people
back or deporting them out of here at the cost of $100 billion annually. And I just, I think that
that's the quiet part that we all know that they drum when you hear Stephen Miller talk about
America's for Americans only. Donald Trump says these people are animals and they're vermin. They have bad genes. This is
eerily, eerily, eerily familiar. Well, that's more terrifying than what I was even thinking. I mean,
that is, it's hard to argue that point. Okay. And the next clip up here, I want to make the point
as to why Trump likes the poorly
educated so much.
Listen to this breakdown of the polling.
This is the Democratic margin among white college grads.
Look, Hillary Clinton won by five points.
Then Joe Biden won by nine.
Look at this margin that Kamala Harris is pulling up in the polls right now among white
college grads.
It's an 18 point margin, double the margin that Joe Biden had just four years ago.
I went back through the record books.
This would be the largest win
for a Democratic presidential candidate
among white college grads in recorded history.
That is all the way back since the early 1950s.
You could probably go back even further.
But the bottom line is that Kamala Harris
amongst this group is doing ridiculously, ridiculously well and is one of the main reasons that she has been able to counter Donald Trump's rising support among voters without a college degree. are educated and know about the dangers of fascism and know about what happened with
fascism across Europe in the 1930s.
And people that are students of this that aren't black and white thinkers know how dangerous
this rhetoric is.
And they see the playbook that MAGA has been playing. And they see
the sycophants that Donald Trump has surrounded himself with, like that first clip we heard.
The guy's a total sociopath. That would be a Trump advisor. That was Trump's advisor when
they separated the kids from the parents. That guy signed the order. That guy advised Trump. And so they want
to do away with the Department of Education so that they can continue to push these ideas
through these sociopathic, evil, fascist ideas. What's interesting is now they're banning books.
The Republicans are banning books to a large degree.
They want to change how history is written so white people don't feel bad.
And it's all in an effort to dumb down people so that they do not have the perspective from
what has happened before.
They will allow them to propel principles that hurt people, classes of people. It is
shocking, but it's like a straight line. People are dumb. They don't know history,
so we won't teach them. We'll keep them dependent on us for information. Therefore,
we can do whatever we want. Yes, I agree. All right. Now I want to jump to a clip switching gears here.
Michelle Obama over the last few days has been on the campaign trail with Kamala Harris. And
I love this Michelle Obama. Yes. She is so smart. And this is the fear of every MAGA person is an
educated, successful black woman.
That's right.
And so let's hear from her.
So I hope you'll forgive me if I'm a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to
ignore Donald Trump's gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn. I hope that you'll forgive me if I'm a little angry that we are indifferent
to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon,
a known slumlord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse.
All of this while we pick apart Kamala's answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do, y'all.
And this is so true.
So true.
Donald Trump and MAGA surround themselves in safe spaces all the time.
Everything that they do, every accusation
is a confession. Donald Trump can't go on MSNBC and do an interview. He doesn't want to go speak
to a group of all Americans. He has literally been on tour since 2016 on this crazy, narcissistic, ego-feeding tour where everybody just cheers all of his crazy shit.
And during his Nazi rally the other night, he was the most boring speaker out of all of them.
Right.
You know, you can tell that this man is completely diminished, wildly uninteresting, and really not that talented of a speaker or politician because he's declined
so much. But now he's surrounded by all of these crazy people. Kamala Harris goes out,
knocks it out of the ballpark, left, right and center. And they get so like when I watched Fox
News the other night, they're like, Kamala blew the campaign on The View, on her interview on The View. And I'm like, what reality do these people live in? Well, I think the reality is they
don't live in reality. They create their own reality. And Donald Trump has been able to
browbeat and bully people into submission because he is so mean and so hateful. And these people are like lambs to the slaughter.
His followers are the people that he will hurt the most.
Full stop.
It is unbelievable when I hear people say, well, I don't know enough about Kamala's policy.
Donald Trump has no policies other than a Trump tariff to tax people that buy goods
and subjugate women.
That's his policy.
Round up migrants.
It's just, it is unbelievable, the double standard.
It's not surprising because women have to work twice as hard and black women have to
work 10 times harder than that to be on the same playing field.
I just want to push back on one thing. The uneducated white people that support him will get hurt, but not nearly as bad
as poor, trans, black, Latino, immigrant communities, members of the LGBTQ plus community.
Those people are always at the bottom. Nobody advocates for them except for people on the left. And they
still feel passed over and they still feel like nobody gives a shit about them. And his policies
will hurt them more than any other administration ever has and will turn the clock back on them.
And all of the progress that they've made in such a damaging, dangerous way that it's
unconscionable to even think about.
And they're actively planning it and salivating over the thought of it.
And that's really abhorrent.
It's really abhorrent that we live in this country that's so full of ideas and expression
and freedom and industry and artistry and all of these cool things.
And then in this is born, where you can run for public office, that you can run
with these crazy ideas and get this tens of millions of people that follow you and think
all of it's a great idea because they were born into a system of racism
and it's in their DNA and they don't have the critical thinking skills or the moral compass
to get on the other side of it because they genuinely believe that they are more human
and they are more superior than minorities. And that's just, that is horrifically sad, but it's an age old story
of humanity. All right. I want to leave you with this clip of Kamala Harris, um, responding to,
let me start that part over. I want to leave you with this clip of that horrible racist comedian
at the Nazi rally and then split screen with Kamala Harris. They're both
talking about Puerto Rico. You know, there's a lot going on. Like, I don't know if you guys know
this, but there's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now.
Yeah. I think it's called Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is home to some of the most talented,
innovative and ambitious people in our nation. And Puerto Ricans deserve a president who sees and invests in that strength.
I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed
a caring and a competent leader.
He abandoned the island, tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes, and offered nothing more
than paper towels and insults. And now Donald Trump promises to be even more extreme, talking
about using the military against his political enemies and being a dictator on day one. Puerto
Ricans deserve better. As president, I will always fight for you and your families.
And together, we can turn the page and chart a new and a joyful way forward.
So that got the attention of a lot of famous Puerto Ricans.
And you have Jennifer Lopez.
What's his name, Kelly?
Bad Bunny.
Bad Bunny.
The rapper.
And Ricky Martin.
Ricky Martin.
And enough is enough.
Enough is enough.
I believe that diversity has enriched this country and makes everybody's lives better.
When you look at urban areas where you see big, strong, democratic strongholds voting wise, it's because these
people live with people from other races and their life is better because of it.
Their life is richer because of it.
They're more tolerant.
They're more empathetic.
Then you get out into the suburbs and then you've got these crazy white people that are
scared to death of anybody that might have an accent or a different color skin of theirs and are just deluded,
uncritical thinkers.
Then you get out to rural areas and it gets even worse.
And so these urban areas are the economic heartbeat of America.
This is where the rural areas, the income is produced to
support rural areas. And I just think as a country, we have a huge push to educate the
bands outside of these cities as to how fabulous diversity is. It's really sad that they don't
appreciate diversity because I agree with you. Diversity is what It's really sad that they don't appreciate diversity, because I agree with you.
Diversity is what makes everything better. And I look at this election and I think to myself,
this is about us. Who are we? Are we going to be accepting and want equality? Are we going to
become a fascist, white supremacist, Christian nationalist nation? And I'm terrified to find out the answer,
quite frankly. I think in many ways, we have to state we have been a white supremacist country.
And to not acknowledge that is painful to a lot of African American communities,
because they've been raised in this system where they are the last.
And it's just since the 1960s that we've had the civil rights movement. And so there is just still
this reckoning with that. And until white people start acknowledging that America was built on the backs of slaves, white people got paid for that.
They got that affirmative action.
Black people did all the work and they didn't get paid for that.
And that went on for centuries.
And the way white people, and you and I both know these people, speak about black people in white-only
groups is still very present today.
And it is abhorrent and it must be called out.
And until white people are actively anti-racist at every turn, this fascism and this racism
gets oxygen and it grows and it grows and it grows and it
grows. I agree. All right. We'll see you guys later.
