Starting point is 00:00:04 Please welcome to IHIP News Wajali. He is a fabulous political commentator, author of The Left Hook on Substack, and he is a dynamo. Please welcome him now. Okay, let's start with where we are in the confirmation of Acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche, who is supposed to be before the committee tomorrow. And let's just take a look at what this administration has reinflicted upon. on the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. This kills me. It makes me physically ill.
Starting point is 00:00:39 So play the clip, Kylie. Say he was condescending. Can you give us an exam? Yeah. I mean, he actually said the words, get to the point to us. We're survivors who have been waiting to meet with him for nine months, eight months.
Starting point is 00:00:49 We've been asking for meetings. And he very much said, can you get to the point already? Like, what are you getting at? Right. So to treat us with that sort of, there was no integrity. There was no understanding that he's dealing with the, largest sex trafficking ring that we've seen in the U.S. ever. Instead, it was like you have an
Starting point is 00:01:10 upstein problem, right? Wow. I mean, that is legitimately, what kind of human looks at victims of this massive sexual deviancy in trafficking and says get to the point? You know, I want us to really sit with this pumps for a second because I think it gets glossed over. The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump has been held liable for rape. He's been held liable for rape. He's been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual assault. He was the closest friend of Jeffrey Epstein. This is a man who used to party with Epstein.
Starting point is 00:01:45 This is a man who started a modeling agency. This is a man who owned and ran Miss Teen USA, and there were allegations of teenagers at the time who were not grown women who said that this creepy man, the President of the United States, used to go through their dressing rooms and look at them. This is a man right now who, through his personal attorney, Todd Blanche, who, like you said, is the acting attorney general, is part of the biggest
Starting point is 00:02:07 political cover-up in modern history. At least in England, there's some investigations. A few heads rolled. Lord Mandelson. There's no longer Prince Andrew. There's only Andrew. In France, there's some investigations. How many investigations are there of this transnational criminal pedophile syndicate in the United States of America? Zero. Who's mentioned more than any other person in the Epstein files? Donald Trump. Who promised their base? I and I alone will release the Epstein files and have accountability, Donald Trump, until it was revealed, whoopsie, he's in the files. And I also want to remind people, Angie, that there was a 13-year-old girl in the 80s, who's a credible survivor who said that in the 80s, she was assaulted not just by Epstein,
Starting point is 00:02:48 but by Donald Trump. The FBI interviewed her four times, and they originally scrubbed three of those interviews. So what we're witnessing right now in real time is a political cover-up by Todd Blanche and Republicans and the Trump administration of a transnational criminal pedophile syndicate. And the top of that syndicate is Donald Trump, a man held liable for rape. And pumps, if I may, what does it say about a country? I want to ask you this. What does it say about a country that we reelected, not you, not me, a rapist, a convicted criminal, a man who before he was elected, before 2016, we know that he partied with Donald Trump and chase young girls. What does it say about this country, Angie?
Starting point is 00:03:31 Nothing good. And what's so fascinating to me, having come from an evangelical background, is the people that are his ride or dies are the evangelical Christians. Mike Johnson. And then I say, oh, Mike Johnson has been covering up for sexual deviance from John. The guy that was going to be in his law school, name, you know, Mike Johnson was going to be the dean. He was molesting young boys or young men at the sex. Southern Baptist Convention. Then you have all of these women. Caroline Levitt, Pam Bondi, they wear
Starting point is 00:04:04 their cross. They love Jesus. Yet they will not stand up for victims of sexual assault and rape that are children. I mean, it's bad enough that they don't believe women, but the children. So what it tells me is that, number one, it is easier for people to believe what they want to believe, whether it's tethered to reality or not. And I go and I look at every sex cult or every cult, religious or otherwise, you always have some kind of sexual malfeasance. And people would rather just act like it doesn't happen. And so you have a real critical thinking problem and a real diluted problem.
Starting point is 00:04:46 I mean, I've never seen anything like it. Like Katie Britt, for example, she is rah-rah on the Trump train. She's raw-rah women need to have babies. Yet she sits in a kitchen and does, you know, the response to the state of the union with a full-time job in the Senate. None of it makes sense. I can't make it make sense. What are your thoughts on it? I think Donald Trump, I know people hate hearing this.
Starting point is 00:05:12 You know, when some Democrats said, even Joe Biden said this, I disagree with them. This is not who we are. This is exactly who we are. I've always said that there's always a statute of liberty welcoming immigrants and those who are marginalized. and there's always a Donald Trump with his hand up her skirt trying to grab her by the pussy. Donald Trump is about as American as apple pie and white supremacy. And I've always said to your point
Starting point is 00:05:35 that Donald Trump is the manifestation of this country's sins. And I think the country's sins are white supremacy, capitalism, and misogyny. We hate women. Look at Max Miller, who's a Republican right now. Did you hear the allegation of what he did to his wife, scalded water on his, on his, on his wife. Who does that? A monster. And he's still a Republican in good standing. And so the way
Starting point is 00:05:58 we treat these survivors, the way we completely ignore them, the way we completely sit there and like just say they're liars is a testament to how this country has treated women, the marginalized, people of color. And don't, I know people hate hearing this folks, but you cannot get a Donald Trump without America's unacknowledged sins of cruelty, greed, and misogyny. I know that's painful for people to hear. Angie. No, I think I think you're exactly right. Racism. Never dealt with racism. Nikki Haley, remember running for president. She's like, we're not a racist country. I'm like, bitch, where have you been? Yeah, she's like, you've been the beneficiary of being the model minority. And even then, she's so shameless that she acknowledged her father. Her father had racism, but she's like,
Starting point is 00:06:44 I'm willing to be the token just to get to power. And all the, like you said, all these people, these fake Christians, they've hijacked Jesus. They put duct tape on his mouth. They put put an AR-15 around them, and they've put them in the backseat and said, you shut your mouth, and we're going to use your as our mascot for capitalism, misogyny, power, and greed. That prosperity gospel. God wants you to be rich. Don't mind the rape and the pedophilia, but get that private jet. And you know, what is that Paula White say, the multimillionaire tele-evangelist, who's the spiritual advisor, Donald Trump, saying no to Donald Trump is like saying no to God.
Starting point is 00:07:20 And what's so unbelievably terrifying is people believe it. I mean, there are people sitting right now in rural Oklahoma that cannot afford their medicine that have to choose between child care, health care, you know, extras like, I don't know, something to eat. And they're sitting there. And to me, just as a person, maybe I'm just a selfish person. But if I am sacrificing and I do not have enough money to feed my kids, or by medicine, I'm not going to take kindly to this alleged billionaire president of the United States, putting up all this gold shit, you know, this new ballroom that he wants us to pay for,
Starting point is 00:08:02 the Qatari jet, all of these things. I'm thinking, why am I sacrificing for this man? But yet there's somebody right now that would say, I have to do this for Donald Trump. If you look at the polls, and I don't know if you've had them on before, but you should, the head of PRRI, Public Religious Research Institute, Robbie Jones, who grew up in a Baptist community and who's written about white evangelical Christians, their support for Trump, and he's talked about white supremacy and how it's completely tied to white evangelical Christianity, especially the Trumpers, right? He does polling after polling. And for the past 10 years, the polls repeatedly show that this is the base of Donald Trump and MAGA. No matter what Donald Trump does, rape,
Starting point is 00:08:44 fine. They're now four concentration camps. They want more. ice, the cruelty is the point. Regardless of what he does, Angie, 70 to 80% of this base, not all white Christians, folks, I'm trying to be fair, but I'm talking about that white evangelical Christian base of Trump. No matter what he does, 75% of them are unbreakable. You know them in Oklahoma. Oklahoma, we have shitty schools. We might not have health care. We're at the bottom of education, but we're going to put the 10 commandments in the public schools. That's what matters. and will die. We'll die for a white supremacy and will die for our cross because Donald Trump, he might be flawed, but this is a rationalization for those who don't know. He's nonetheless a flawed
Starting point is 00:09:25 instrument of God. They compare him to the Persian pagan King Cyrus. Yes, he might be a rapist, and he might even be a pedophile, but God works in mysterious ways. And God has chosen this flawed instrument to make America great, and let's be honest, Angie, white again. And that's what it is. When you look at Smithsonian. I mean, and there's a thousand examples that I could give you. But now he doesn't like history. So he's going to put something outside the Smithsonian that says, well, I really don't agree with these facts. I'm like, Justice Roberts is on the board of the Smithsonian. If there was, I mean, he loves the good races too as a parent from his opinions. So it's not like he is some left-wing progressive liberal. It's what you know what makes me the maddest about all of
Starting point is 00:10:14 this is that they're telling people little boys and little girls of color they have been discriminated against look at Rosa Parks look what she went through to get that but you're too fragile to learn about that we think you're too fragile we don't want you to hear about how deplorable these people were treated continuing systematically in the government start to finish because you're too fucking fragile. I can't believe they're not saying why so you don't trust me with the truth because you think I can't handle it and the reality is some of these people can't and I agree with you 100% the white evangelical community and racism you cannot pull them apart with a crowbar that is who they are as long as you hate who I hate we're cool and a lot of things
Starting point is 00:11:10 and you can justify any atrocity you can justify chattel slavery, you can justify lynchings, you can justify concentration camps, you can justify ice killing around people as long as you have the validation of God. If God justifies it, if God gives it a celestial stamp of approval, then you can't be a bad or immoral person. Oh no, you have the Christian seal. Your pastor says this is okay. And these are necessary, if you will, not necessarily sins, but this is some necessary injustices that one must do for the greater goal. The greater goal is to bring the kingdom of God on earth, right? And what I find so fascinating is these are the same people, because it's all connected,
Starting point is 00:11:56 folks. For those who don't know this world, let me tell you all, just lean in. The largest Zionist group in America doesn't belong to Jews. You know who it is? Christians United for Israel, a white evangelical group led by Pastor Hagee out of Texas. the largest Zionist group in America, the base of Netanyahu. They're perfectly fine with the genocide. They're perfectly fine with occupation. They're perfectly fine for apartheid. They don't love the Jews, but they love Israel. The question is why? Because they believe the only way for Jesus to come back
Starting point is 00:12:27 is that Jews need to control Jerusalem. It's a necessary precondition. So we'll just excuse the occupation and the mass starvation and the killing of kids and the occupation and the apartheid because we have to get to our end goal. And it's such a cynical understanding of God because I'm a Muslim. I know Jen is like how, how you're a smart man, how do you believe in God? But Muslims do it also, right? Like we think we can fake out God. Isn't it wild that you think that this omniscient, merciful creator is perfectly fine with you sanctioning a genocide and you're going to trick him to get to the end game, which is the return of Jesus? And if Jesus does return, is he going to be with, I don't know, the Palestinians, the poor people, the marginalized, or is it going to be with you in your
Starting point is 00:13:13 multi-million dollar jet? Paula White. You tell me, Angie. Well, here's the thing. I think that's why this Pope, this new American Pope, is such a problem and where they are, you know, Trump went on the attack. Now J.D. Vance is on the attack because he's preaching what Jesus said in the Bible. He's not preaching capitalism. He's not preaching, you know, white supremacy. And I have tons of disagreement with the Catholic Church. I'm not promoting Catholicism. But I'm saying that is why they're so mad at the Pope is because he's like, feed the poor, help the sick. Don't go into wars and kill Pete. I mean, so he's such a problem. I mean, doesn't it seem like it was 700 years ago that Trump picked a fight with the Pope? I mean, that's how crazy the shit happens around here.
Starting point is 00:14:01 And that's, I think that's why also J.D. Vance became Catholic. Peter Thiel probably said, I need you to become Catholic to take on the Pope. And now J.D. Vance is more Catholic than the Pope, right? Right. Yeah. And then Pope Francis was seen as the woke Pope. And now this Pope Leo is seen as the woke Pope. But I do think that's a really good point.
Starting point is 00:14:20 The fact that this Pope is an American Pope and has come out, and let's be honest, he's come out. And he's, through his own way, suddenly criticized this illegal war, criticized Israel's genocide, criticize Trump's treatment of immigrants. And now they're saying, you know what? maybe J.D. Vance is more Catholic than the Pope because they're so wedded to their white supremacy. So much so that you had pastors in the past couple of years openly lamenting that after the Sunday sermon, people come up to them and say, Pastor, that's a woke sermon. And he's like, that's Jesus's sermon on the Mount. And then they say, you know, I get them for two hours a week, my congregation.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Fox gets them for 24 hours every day. So it goes to show you that this is a Christianity and a Jesus that I did not encounter when I went to an all-boys Jesuit Catholic high school. I was taught by Jesuits. Our motto was meant for others, faith through service. We had to do 100 hours of community service. If Jesus were to come back, would he be more aligned with Palestinians, the undocumented immigrants, the workers, or the GOP? I want you all to ask yourselves that, oh, Christian evangelicals for Trump, right? Will he be sitting there with his AR-15, singing his country song?
Starting point is 00:15:34 and engaging that good old boy racism with this pickup truck? Or is he more aligned with the Palestinians and Bethlehem? No, I completely believe that. I think they've hijacked Christianity, the Old Testament, because they want to punish people. Like you said, they enjoy the cruelty. The white supremacy is just like cocaine to them.
Starting point is 00:15:55 It's just- The misogyny. The misogyny. That's what people don't realize is, I grew up with internalized misogyny, internalized sexism. I was raised in a world where, yeah, you can be a lawyer. You can go to law school.
Starting point is 00:16:07 But, you know, being married, that's your deal. And you just don't realize it's generationally. And I often think about these women that sit around and they watch Fox News and that they're letting somebody else tell them what their role is, what their values are. And it's so sad to me that we are still in 2026 letting men tell us what our place is and that we suck if we don't have kids. I have three kids. I love them. But I admire someone that is of childbearing age that says, you know what? It's not my thing. I don't want to do it because I didn't have that choice. It was, this is what you're supposed to do. Okay, real quick before I let you go. I have to. Also, can I just say misogyny? We miss it.
Starting point is 00:16:49 It is critical to understanding extremist movements. We talk about the racism. Yes. Misogyny is right there. Women have a proper place underneath men and now they're openly saying, openly now. This is pastor. Pastor, Pastor. Oh my God. We don't like the 19th Amendment. We don't think women should have the right to vote. Women's places in the house and they already overturned Roe v. Wade. What do you think they're going to do if they get full power? Did you read that article that the next step is to put women out of sports and put them into fitness?
Starting point is 00:17:20 So it's not that we care about transgender women in sports. No. We just don't want any women, biological or trans in sports because women, and the quote was fucking fitness. I put the fuck in. Are you kidding me? Look, look hot, work out, raise the kids, cook meat. Suck my dick. Yeah, yeah, make sure, and pump out white babies.
Starting point is 00:17:47 This is key. Pump out as many white babies. That's why Elon Musk is obsessed with the birth rate because white people aren't having enough babies. These savages like wodge are coming. So your job is to be a white baby factory and just pump out as many as you can. But by the way, don't worry about. paid paternal care or paid family care or affordable health care or child care.
Starting point is 00:18:06 No, you don't need any of that. You'll figure that shit out on your own. But you pump out as many white babies as you can. And this is your path towards heaven. White women. Good luck. Yeah. I completely agree with everything you just said.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Okay. So we're hearing back and forth on the Hill. Todd Blanche's nomination is in trouble. They don't know if he's going to be confirmed. I'm like, there's not a Republican, whether they've lost their primary or not, i.e. Bill Cassidy, that has the. to come out and say, I'm not going to do what Trump wants to do.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I mean, hopefully it happens. I would love for it to happen, but I don't believe any of them are big enough men and alpha males enough to go against dear leader. What are your thoughts? I just had a fantastic hour-long conversation with our friend Katie Fang, who's done the lawsuit against Todd Blanche enforcing him to comply with Congress's Epstein Transparency Act. So this is the win. To your point, I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:19:02 These Republicans are reeks, their remoros on the anus of Donald Trump. They're going to do anything he wants them to do, right? Like, for example, John Clayton will talk about it. They went and made him the Director of National Intelligence. So this is just a delay tactic. But the fact that it was delayed is a win. The fact that Judge Sullivan is on Todd Blanche's ass is a win. The fact that this is in the news is a win.
Starting point is 00:19:25 The fact that we keep this story in the news, they're on the back foot because they're stuck, because this is the biggest political cover-up in modern history. You promised your base you would release the Epstein files. Congress passed the Epstein Transparency Act. Todd Blanche as acting Attorney General, how come you're not passing these files? How many files are there? What are you hiding?
Starting point is 00:19:45 So this is part of the strategy that we know, you know and I know, in a perfect world, of course he would never, ever, ever be the Attorney General. But now you build up a record instead through a thousand cuts, These people have to defend being part of a political cover-up. And the more it's delayed, the more the judge demands more from Todd Blanche, the more this is in the news. I know it sounds whack.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I know people are pissed off, but that's going to be the win for us, Angie. Well, I mean, we'll take what we can get at this point because we're getting so few wins. But I do think that you make an interesting point about, you know, death by 1,000 paper cuts. There are so many battles that we're fighting. And it's like even the Epstein's. survivors go to the back of the news cycle, which I agree with you. It is the biggest sexual political scandal in the history of our nation, maybe in any nation, because it's, you know, transatlantic. But do you think, let's say they said, nope, Todd Blanche, no. How much money would
Starting point is 00:20:47 you put on the bet on Cal Shee that says the next AG that Donald Trump appoints, he's going to release the whole Epstein files. He's going to be completely transparent. It's never going to fucking happen. They would rather burn the world down than release the Epstein Files because it exposes the transnational pedophile criminal syndicate. It's not just Donald Trump. It's billionaires. It's philanthropists. It's world leaders. It's financial institutions. Do you think they're going to let this come out? But just because they'd rather burn the world down doesn't mean it's not up to us to attack them, right? From every angle, you keep exposing it. There's a thread here. financial threat, billionaire thread, academic thread, modeling agency thread. And it all in a way
Starting point is 00:21:35 goes back to the same few players who, by the way, have escaped justice and accountability. So the more and more we do that, the more and more we expose it. And the more and more of the people who defend it or rationalize it or cover it up, eventually, this is the main thing, Angie, you can't run away from this. It's too many people know. Too many people know. So I know people think, ah, we're going to lock them up and throw away the key. There's, I just want you to reorient what accountability looks like. We get them death by a thousand cuts because we're all looking for the haymaker, which the survivors deserve, but we're going up against literally the Epstein class. And I believe, like you said, they, well, like I said, and I think we agree, they'd burn
Starting point is 00:22:15 the world down to get this information out. Yeah, they're never going to release it. Never, ever, ever. And I'm no friend of Merrick Garland. He could have done it too. Like, I'm not, nobody gets a pass. useless, useless. Fucking useless. All right, Wash, thank you so much for coming on. You're so much fun. I love having you on. Please come back.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Anytime. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
