Good morning.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are up about four points.
They are leading in a lot of the battleground states, but we are still absolutely gobsmacked
that the race is still this close.
And shifting to her opponent, like most crazy people, he claims that God is directing him personally to save the United States of America.
Play the clip.
No, I think you think like if you believe in God, you believe in God more.
And somebody said, like, why?
And I'd like to think that God thinks that I'm going to straighten out our country.
Our country is so sick and it's so broken.
Our country is just broken.
And maybe that was the reason.
I don't know.
Okay.
It's no surprise to me that he is continuing to pander to Christian voters, evangelical Christian voters, who he does very
well with. But even there, I'm seeing that he's not polling as strongly as he used to
with evangelicals. Well, I think that his abortion, when he flip-flopped last week on abortion, that
he said the ban wasn't strong
enough in Florida, which is a six-week ban.
And then, of course, the riot went crazy.
So he flip-flopped back to he's going to support the six-week ban.
So Christians were taken aback.
And I see more and more people that are Christians coming out and saying he is not what we choose
in a leader.
He's not who we value.
His values are not our values.
But I think the majority of evangelical men are rah-rah Trump.
Oh, there's no question.
I mean, large, large, large majority.
I noticed that he uses the same tactics, the emotional blackmail that a lot of evangelical
mega church pastors do that, you know, if you
want to save America, then you have to vote for me. And it's the same kind of thing. If you want
to go to heaven, you have to do this. So there's a large portion of the electorate in the United
States of America that does not objectively think outside of a black and white worldview. I think this is the epicenter of Trump voters.
People that see the whole world is a very black and white thing.
They have a very limited worldview.
These people, their default setting is not critical thinking.
They question facts.
They argue with facts.
And I think this, surprisingly, in the United States of America, we have,
it seems like we have about 45% of the population that has this affliction, which is just
jaw dropping, but moving along in this same interview, podcast interview, Trump talks about
experts shooting experts that said that any other, that he should have been hit
suggesting that
God spared him with the bullet.
Let's play the clip.
You believe in God.
Has this further your belief, your commitment?
And obviously, God, in addition to that chart, saved your life.
He has a purpose for you.
Do you think about these things?
Well, I think you believe more because when you speak to experts like my sons who are shooting experts,
but when you speak to experts, they said there was no chance that he could have missed from that distance. As you can see, former president convicted felon Donald Trump
is claiming that Eric and Don Jr.
are the premier shooting experts in the United States of America.
And those two dipshits advised their father
that anybody could have made that shot and he should be dead.
Therefore, it was divine intervention.
And I want to remind everybody, he is a candidate for the third time of the United States of
America in charge of the world's largest military force on the planet. It's unbelievable
how inept and incompetent the Republican party has become and how much they have sold their souls for
this man. His children and himself are experts on nothing but grifting.
I mean, I would say they're in the expert category when it comes to grifting, but that's it.
I don't think they're experts on anything else.
And for him to be a candidate for the president of the free world, sustaining the world order, it's breathtaking.
It really is. It's, it's just the way he gets on these podcasts,
gets on true social and gets on the news calls into Fox and friends and the flight of ideas.
And this is what psychiatrists talk about that crazy people have. So if somebody goes to see
a psychiatrist and they're talking about Hannibal Lecter, crowd sizes, God talking to them,
et cetera, et cetera.
Pretty soon a diagnosis is going to be written into that person's file.
And I would say probably 50, 52% of Americans crack that case in 2016 pretty quickly. It was very easy to deduce that this was not a rational person.
And we can, I, this is the part about
Trump that really gets me. I get, I understand a singular crazy person. I understand that. I
understand mental illness and I have empathy from those that suffer from it. What bothers me
immensely is the millions of Americans that support him, vote for him, buy his gold sneakers,
buy the Bibles, buy the stakes, all the crap, the homoerotic, photoshopped, not even real cards,
the digital trading cards. We have a candidate for the president of the United States that has a trading card.
Are you kidding me? Could you imagine if Barack Obama had a trading card and sold gold sneakers?
The racism, the N-word would be flying. I don't even think they could contain themselves.
They would explode.
They would.
They would explode. I was reading an article by a focus group leader, and she was very clear.
The more people see Trump and what's going on on Truth Social, because it is so unhinged and it is a flight of ideas, as you say, more people would run from him completely unhinged.
Well, yeah, but he was that unhinged on Twitter.
And there seems to be a bit of Trump
amnesia with some voters. But also, I fear that something even more insidious is taking place.
And it is that the United States, we're such an instant gratification. We like train wrecks. We like to be entertained. We like the chaos. And we seem, there seems to be
this appetite to kind of have his crazy back end power. And I think that because America is so
ethnocentric, if you watch the American news, all you hear about is the United States. If you hear
about another country, it's about the
United States involvement with that country. It's not just some random story about some country.
We're in Europe right now. And if you watch the news, you hear global news. You hear about
America, the EU, Asia, et cetera. And I feel like Americans do not fundamentally understand what NATO is, what the allies that we have had and kept in place and protected since World War II.
I don't think they understand the dangers of fascism, of overt
nationalism. And they don't recognize that what Trump is doing specifically when you get into
project 2025, and they're talking about deporting millions and millions of immigrants and replacing,
um, a lot of federal workers with Trump loyalists. This is a play out of Hitler's
playbook. You identify a unifying enemy to hate. For Hitler, it was the Jewish people. For Project
2025 and Trump, it is immigrants. They're talking about rounding them up, overt nationalism,
getting rid of anybody who's objective in the
party. And I just think a lot of Americans do not understand history, don't critically think,
like to believe bullshit, like to be crazy, entertained all the time. And it's in the tens
of millions. And these same people, these same people want to absolve the Department of Education.
So I don't think there's any coincidence there. Oh, no. Dumbing down the electorate. Absolutely. These same people want to absolve the Department of Education.
So I don't think there's any coincidence there.
No, no.
Dumbing down the electorate, absolutely. In other legal news for Trump, I just have to point out that he has again, in his New York State case to avoid sentencing, he has attempted to take the case to federal court to stop the sentencing. And the federal court
yesterday came out loud and clear and said, even with the Supreme Court's ruling, he continues to
hold, as he did in July of 2023, that paying hush money to an adult film star does not constitute a duty of the president
of the United States. He quoted it. It was hilarious. So Trump, as of this moment,
will be sentenced September 18th, 2024. Set your watches.
Do you think he's going to get sentenced to jail time or do you think
that's probation? It's an interesting question because of the contempt citations that he's been
found guilty of because it was 34 counts. I don't think there's any question if he wasn't Donald
Trump, it would be prison. But I think it's likely he'll be sentenced to some prison time held reserved until after the election.
Yeah.
Or maybe house arrest at Mar-a-Lago, no phone, no passport, no plane.
That would be my guess.
I mean, I would like it to be under the jail.
No phone?
You think they could take his phone away from him?
Well, prisoners don't have phones in jail.
If he's under house arrest, have you heard of somebody saying you can't use a phone? Yeah, they can take everything. They can take everything from him? Well, they don't, prisoners don't have phones in jail. If he's under house arrest, have you heard of somebody saying you can't use a phone? They can take everything.
They can take everything from him. I mean, he would go even more insane than what he is,
but none of us would know about it, which would probably be the healthiest thing
for the country to have zero, zero Donald Trump updates, zero contact with the world, I think it would be beneficial because a lot of
other candidates have tried to be Trump like J.D. Vance. And it's just it's so cringe. And I'm not
saying Donald Trump isn't cringe. He is total cringe. But the ones like DeSantis that come out
and try to be Trump Jr., it doesn't resonate with their base. None of them resonate with me. We just think it's an incredibly dangerous psychological case study.
