All right, Trump's behavior, not only is it increasingly demented, like now he has the bruise he
has on his right hand is now on his left hand as well.
The cancals are larger than ever.
The dementia is off the charts.
But also, you see that as the dementia kicks in, so do his true intentions of being a dictator.
He cannot hold it back.
And so Kylie popped this up.
This is over the Christmas holiday.
a day. President Trump suggested that television broadcast licenses should be revoked if networks
or late night programs consistently present negative coverage of his presidency. And Joe on Twitter
responds, this is authoritarianism at its final form. And here is the lie social post in question.
Stephen Colbert is a pathetic train wreck with no talent or anything else necessary for
show business success now after being terminated by CBS but left out to dry he has
actually gotten worse along with his non-existent ratings Stephen is running on
hatred and fumes a dead man walking CBS should quote put him to sleep now it is
the humanitarian thing to do he goes on and on even more depraved stuff saying
that the New York Times needs to be quote unquote dealt with and so this is an
opportunity right here that
Democrats really need to pounce on how anti-democratic and anti-constitution the MAGA party is.
He has started this attack on the press 10 years ago.
But prior to Trump, this is where Fox News was born because facts have a liberal bias.
And during the Reagan administration, this is when a lot of the anti-press happened.
And remember who brought down a Republican president, the press.
the press did. And so this is one of the very last institutions that Trump is hell-bent
on taking down. And we could all sit here and we could record 95,000 podcasts. Trump is great.
Trump has a large penis. Trump is a great cosmetic supplier. Oh God, the bruises on his hand.
I actually think they look good. It will never satisfy him. This man is a malignant narcissist.
He is broken, but the shit that he's saying here with an assist from a Supreme Court that refuses
to hold him accountable, he keeps and continues to do these things and these attacks on the
press because his buddies are now buying up the press. And pretty soon, we're going to go the way
of North Korea. Well, look no further than the 60 Minutes episode about Sikot. Barry Weiss pulled
that because she did not want the American people to see what was happening under this administration.
He always is so thin-skinned about late-night talk show hosts.
It's unbelievable how he cannot take any criticism.
And in my opinion, none of these people go far enough.
He tried to pull Jimmy Kimmel off the air.
The people spoke.
And I think that's where our power is to stand up, cancel our subscriptions to CB.
I mean, I canceled mine to Paramount because I was like, I don't want anything to do with this regime.
But, I mean, just what?
You cannot say you're pro-constitution and want to do the things that Donald Trump does.
It's not possible.
They cannot live together.
I think that a lot of the Republican Party has been rooted in this, the founders.
Yes.
All of this stuff for so long.
And they wanted to do this stuff, but they wanted it to be a more polite country club-style Republican that did it.
But Trump's just so crazy.
he'll just let it rip. But the press has always been a problem for the heritage foundations,
the federalist societies, because they want to create a government that is exactly what Donald
Trump is creating. I think they wanted to be more polite. They wanted to hoodwink us a little more,
but they're all chips in. And this is really, really important what MAGA is doing right now.
And for those of you that have MAGA people in your lives, this to me is not a political difference.
what I'm about to talk about. It's a moral difference. And I personally can't, if I know somebody
triple trumped, I have such a visceral reaction being around them right now because of stuff like this.
Pop this up. The Washington Post reports, rather than shuttling detainees around the country
to wherever detention space is available, ICE aims to speed up deportations by renovating industrial
warehouses to hold more than 80,000 immigrant detainees at a time according to a draft
solicitation. This is, these are not warehouses and people being detained. These are concentration
camps. When I hear people say to me, oh, we just disagree politically. I'm very quick to jump in and say,
no, our differences are not political. Our differences are moral. I morally have a problem
with concentrating non-violent people, human beings that don't have the right documentation
and separating them from their babies and their families and putting them somewhere
so that the freak shows that run the social media at the White House can make ASMR to beat off to.
You're for that.
Let me be crystal clear.
These are not political differences.
These are moral differences.
So Katie Miller, when people call you a white nationalist or people call your husband a Nazi,
if you are so offended by that, then explain why you are so forth sending 80,000 people to a warehouse.
And the facts are in on this.
And the majority of these people have zero, zero criminal record.
And notice that I called them people and not aliens or illegal.
And that's the fundamental difference.
These aren't political differences.
these are moral differences. These are ethical differences. And the MAGA party is the party of racism. It is the party of white supremacy. It is the party of pedophilia. It is the party of crime. And it is the party where you get people that make $50,000 a year, shit the bed all over Twitter because a billionaire might have to pay 5% more in taxes. Yeah, it's stunning. And I look at all the money that Christy Noem and
the Department of Homeland Security have been allocated for the purpose of rounding people up.
They are not interested in immigration reform. They are interested in cruelty because they have
fired judges. They have reduced the administrative court staff and ability to have immigration
hearings by a huge fraction while all the money is going to cruelty, to this kind of thing.
Was it Gipmo, Alligator, Alcatraz?
They like it.
They like the shackles.
They like the thought of all these people being put in a Seacott-esque place on American soil.
And it's disgusting.
Okay.
So how is it that we are able to be here in this situation?
Because we can ask fifth graders about the separation of powers, the three branches of government that check each other so that we can't get a dictator.
that denies people due process, et cetera.
Well, how does this happen is a man named John Roberts?
And oftentimes we like to think about Clarence Thomas and Sam Alito as being incredibly
corrupt.
And they are very corrupt.
John Roberts is more insidious.
He's the type of country club Republican that gets away with this shit.
To me, the John Roberts of the world, I know a lot of people like this.
If you grow up in rich white circles, you know a lot of John Roberts.
they're more polite. They're a little bit more quiet about their depravity than, you know,
Alito with the flags and Claris Thomas is why funding and colluding to form January 6th.
And I want to put up this headline. There's some great reporting coming out of Mother Jones.
Chief Justice John Roberts has led the Supreme Court for 20 years now. In that time, his Republican
appointed majority has completely transformed America and its politics with many of its most destructive
opinions written by Roberts himself. And I want to read to you guys some excerpts that are pretty
devastating. One of the quotes is, this is now a Maga Court and Roberts is at the helm.
The court has rolled back voting rights and greenlit gerrymandering at particular cost to
non-white voters. It has allowed unlimited money to warp our politics and empowered the
wealthiest elites at the expense of most Americans, a distortion that is referred to.
in growing inequality. The court ended affirmative action in higher education. It ended the right to an abortion. It made it harder for the government to issue the kinds of rules and regulations that safeguard our health and environment. It's so aggressively expanded gun rights that virtually every American is now essentially entitled to a machine gun. It's consistently weakened labor unions and consumer rights.
The court has eviscerated the separation of church and state by inviting religious activities and opinions into public schools.
And after significant wins for LGBT rights over Robert's objection, the court has pivoted and begun to attack them and transgender people in particular.
It's made public corruption great again.
And then there's the court's most obsessive drive to increase presidential power, culminating in last year,
year's immunity decision written by Roberts in which the court granted the president's sweeping
new powers in general immunity from criminal prosecution, upsetting the separation of powers in our
system of government. The decision was the most radical one in a series of holdings where
leading up to the 2024 election, the court repeatedly stepped in to help Trump escape accountability
for alleged crimes and aid his return to power. Finally, in recent months, the court has unleashed Trump
to act illegally by halting lower court injunctions decisions, which have never resulted in illegal
deportations to South Sudan, racial profiling by ICE, and the partial dismantling of multiple
federal agencies, to name a few, in the face of district courts reigning in Trump, the justices
decided to strip lower court judges of their power to issue nationwide relief.
So this is stunning. The lower courts are upholding the rule of law.
And John Roberts and the other conservatives on this court are moving the law out of the way
to completely dismantle American democracy. And you have to ask, why? Why are they doing that?
And it's because for these elites, the people having power is a threat to them.
The United States government, hypothetically, in its vision by the founders, was set up for the people to have power, the people collectively to have more power than the elites.
Well, this is a super big threat to the elites.
So what happened after FDR's reign in the Warren court, which expanded rights, which expanded equality, the federal,
society began machinating over time to groom these men and women in the case of the
handmade, Amy Coney-Barrant, to come in and rip up the Constitution like this.
This is a long-term gain.
These men were not selected because they're great objective legal minds.
They were selected and groomed by the Federalist Society because,
they are so corrupt because they are so malleable because they're bought and paid for by very dark
shadowy billionaires that as a side hustle collect Nazi memorabilia. These are very dark people
that run the levers and pull the levers of the Supreme Court. And now they have a majority
that Mitch McConnell helped implement. And this John Roberts was appointed.
by George W. Bush, and you may remember that George W. Bush did not win the election against Al Gore, but his daddy's Supreme Court picks saw that he got it. So you have a minority court. This is a minority appointed court, taking away the power of the American people. That's where it's supposed to live.
So you have these dark Nazi-esque-style billionaires that started this 20 years ago.
And then you also have these dark technocrats like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel that have also decided that they don't like democracy, that they don't think democracy behooves people anymore.
And this is a really bad alliance with this old, old, dark money and then this new money.
But what they fear more than anything is the power being with the people.
They want to set up a permanent elite ruling class.
And the Supreme Court is allowing every single bit of this to happen.
Yeah.
And what's interesting to me as an attorney is when you study Supreme Court decisions historically,
it's all based on the president and they tie it.
Conservative votes typically tie it back to the Constitution.
You can bear arms because it says so.
the Constitution and what this court has done, it has ignored the Constitution on everything they've
decided, even, which I know this hasn't been a decision yet, but Amy Coney Barrett goes on Fox News
and she's like, well, you know, I'm not sure about a third term. They are willing to sit there
and say, we support the Constitution, we protect the Constitution. Well, every decision they make
in this administration undermines the Constitution and the precedent that the court has said
the entirety of the United States.
And there is no other scenario other than they are in on it.
They want fascism because these decisions are wholly contrary to everything preceding
courts have done.
You cannot look at this and say, well, they're trying to make an informed legal decision.
Horshit.
They're in on it.
They, like you said, want the elites to win because they want more power for themselves.
They're willing to take away their own power as the third branch of government to give it over to someone to ensure that the American citizen doesn't have it.
It's disgusting.
Yeah.
And it's just important to note that John Roberts and that immunity ruling, he was the author of it.
And then you may remember when Trump passed him, I think it was at the state of the union or something.
And he said, thanks a lot.
I'll never forget it.
And he shook John Roberts hand.
John Roberts moved accountability, the rule of law, all of this stuff out of the way because
Trump is an elite and he is morally depraved. The Leonard Leo's, the Peter Thiel's, all of these
people want complete white nationalist power. I mean, Clarence Thomas is a particular case study
that we can deal with if we ever defeat fascism, the internalized racism. But it's, it's
It's wild. And like Pump said, they have done nothing with precedent. And so this is a huge, a huge problem, the court. And if Democrats ever get power again, they need to deal with it. And Joe Biden should have dealt with it when he, during his four years, he should have dealt with the fact that Alito and Thomas were both ruling on cases where people under their roof clearly have a conflict of interest. They should have.
have not ruled on these cases. All right, that's all we have for this episode. Like, subscribe,
we'll be back later with more news.
