Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome, welcome to IHIP News, where we share our opinion about the news that is important to us. Pumps, what you got? Well, yesterday, President-elect Trump announced his new Department of Government Efficiency, aka DOJ. a.k.a. Doge. And in leadership for that position to run that department are Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. And so let's see just a few of the greatest hits of Elon Musk during the election. Is the only reason we can now send American astronauts into space. Come here. I'm not just MAGA. I'm dark, gothic MAGA.
Starting point is 00:00:49 We all saw his stomach, so I feel closer now because I've seen his stomach. First of all, my big question for you is Elon Musk started a super PAC, hundreds of millions of dollars to get Trump elected. He was dark MAGA, dark Gothic MAGA, as he likes to say. And now he has named this Department of Government Efficiency, which is a pet project of Elon Musk for his cryptocurrency, Doge cryptocurrency, but whatever. My question is, do you think it was a slight to Elon Musk after he's Dark Maga, he's jumping on stage, he's created the super PAC to be co-chairs of the organization with Vivek Ramaswamy? No.
Starting point is 00:01:44 You don't know because you're anticipating that like he's playing chess somehow. And we're talking about a breathtakingly incompetent person, which is the president elect who was running around talking about Hannibal Lecter slurring, you know, doing the dementia Bob dance with the dog killer, the governor from South Dakota. No, I don't think it was a slight. I, I, first of all, what is this department? Where's its office?
Starting point is 00:02:16 Where are the, where, how do they get its funding? What, why do we have people that have government contracts working in the government? I mean, this is embarrassing. The dark MAGA is embarrassing. Elon Musk, all you need to do is look at what he's done to Twitter. It is a complete dumpster fire. He has driven it into the ground. And now he wants to threaten advertisers. And these people are supposed to be free market capitalists,
Starting point is 00:02:52 threaten them that they must by law advertise with him. That's the antithesis of what all of these blowhard Republicans run around saying all the time. we've got a free markets, free markets. So, I mean, I don't I don't even know which way is up or down. But I mean, do I think Trump made some chess move? No, I don't think he's I don't think he's smart enough to do that. You don't think the narcissistic part of him took over and he wanted to give him a slight? Because also one thing when I was reading, which to answer your question, the Department of Government Efficiency is to curb government bureaucracy, which just kind of cracks me up coming from Elon Musk, who is the benefit of so much government bureaucracy because of rebates and things like that with the electric cars.
Starting point is 00:03:40 But I was surprised to learn that they don't have any enforcement power. It's recommendations. So between the time that Trump is sworn in through July of 26, so those 18 months roughly, he is supposed to give recommendations together with Vivek Ramaswamy on how to make the government more efficient. So there's no enforcement power in that department yet. And I've not heard anything on who's funding it. Where are they going to office? Is it going to be laptops out of off Twitter? I mean, I don't know. I just find it. I found it interesting that he co-chaired him with Vivek Ramaswamy, who's not a billionaire. And we know Trump loves a billionaire.
Starting point is 00:04:22 I just I think you're giving like too much credit that somehow he's giving Elon Musk a slide. I just I mean, when he doesn't like somebody, he's pretty pointed about it. You know, this is not somebody who can exercise self-control at will. You know what I mean? I mean, this is a guy who literally during 2016 to 2020 was the most powerful man in the world. And he had the biggest temper tantrum. And he invited all of his cult followers to come so they could take shits in the Capitol, beat up and kill cops. I mean, I just know, I mean, I think that the Elon Musk, Trump thing is going to backfire spectacularly because there's too many egos.
Starting point is 00:05:08 My personal theory on it is Trump wants to be as rich as Elon. Elon wants to be president. And so there's going to be some sort of internal thing going on there. And we had Michael Cohen on our podcast. Maybe it was at the DNC. I can't remember which one it was. But Michael Cohen had some pretty insightful things that he said that Trump will be like, wait a minute, you got all this money from government contracts.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Then that means I should own part of that. And that's how Trump thinks. He's going to start seeing that Elon Musk's wealth is somehow not genuine or real because of all these government contracts. That's what Michael Cohen said. I can't remember which episode of ours it was on, but I remember it stuck out to me that somehow Trump would fuck over Elon. Yeah, he's been saying about that for a while now.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And I might remind everyone he said Trump would not leave the Capitol or would not leave the White House if he wasn't reelected. And I think we all saw the coup that ensued. But yeah, I do remember him saying that. And I do think that Trump will have some kind of need, internal need to put Elon in its place. Maybe I'm just reading into tea leaves. Maybe I just want it to be true. That's entirely possible. Well, I just think all you can do is look at his history with people. Every single person, with the exception of a few complete nutballs that worked with him in his first administration, none of them even speak to him. They wouldn't even endorse him. A lot of them were at the DNC campaigning against him. The others crawled off in their holes and didn't want any
Starting point is 00:06:45 spotlight on them ever again. So I think it's pretty logical to deduce that there's going to be some uproar between the two. I mean, it's all high times when you're trying to seek power. Right. But once you get power, which they've got it, and, you know, Trump is going to want to enrich himself the same way that Vladimir Putin has enriched himself. That's why he admires them all so much. Right. Because it's just carte blanche.
Starting point is 00:07:09 You can do what you want. You can take all the money. You can dick over all the people. You can do all this stuff. So, yeah, I do think there's going to be. But Vivek Ramaswamy is a special case of like, what are you doing there? Right. Like at the end of the day, you and I know this because we grew up in upper middle class, upper class white circles. We know at the end of the
Starting point is 00:07:32 day in all white Republican rooms, we've been in them, what they say about people that have melanin in their skins, in their skin. We're not Christian. We know, we know what they're, we know what they say. I mean, he's a token for them right now. I know how these people think, you know, how these people think we're white women. We've been around men like this. Now they're all going to be consolidated together. And so I don't understand what all that stuff is. And I remember there was a clip with Vivek and maybe his wife. Yes. At some cafe in rural America when he was campaigning and it was during the primary. And he said, well, do you think that you could ever vote for me? And these two kind of redneck country folk, rural America, look at him and be like, well, no, probably not. And they're like, he said, why?
Starting point is 00:08:26 And he's like, the lady was like, well, you know, probably we're just more comfortable with a white person. And he just sat there and took it. I think it was his wife. Yeah. They just sit there and take the racism and then sign up for it again. So I don't think it's going to end well for either one of these two with Donald Trump. Here's what I think.
Starting point is 00:08:47 It's sad and as daunting as this sounds, the people surrounding him right now at this very moment are as good as it's going to get. OK, this is the best version of Trump 2.0 right now, just like in the beginning of 2016. They're going to start falling off. And then the clown car is going to ensue. And then everybody's going to be at four seasons total landscaping with hair dye dripping down their face. You know, I mean, we all know how this is going to end and it's going to be brutal. And it's going to be, you know, at this at this point, we could watch Trump before when Biden was in power and laugh. Right. This time, it's just going to be like, Jesus Christ. I mean,
Starting point is 00:09:32 it's just going to be brutal. But it's coming because the people this is as good as it's going to get right now. It's going to get worse. The clown car is it's going to happen. Susie Wiles, how long do you think she's going to make it? Oh, I would say eight to 10 months. What clown car is it's going to happen. Susie Wiles, how long do you think she's going to make it? Oh, I would say eight to 10 months. What do you give it? Yeah, I'd say 12 months or less. And she's gone because what will happen is they all know at nighttime. Trump is like a high school teenager and he likes to get on the phone and psycho dial his friends. And all of the crazy sycophants are going to know that the Steve Bannon's, the Kash Patel's, they're going to start calling him and they're going to
Starting point is 00:10:11 know, hey, Susie said such and such behind your back. Yeah. And they'll start sowing doubt. And they know exactly because he's so manipulatable that you just some superficial flattery, which he falls prey to very easily. And then a little bit of gossip and the craziest of the crazies are going to be in there. Yeah, I hadn't thought about that until just now. I mean, I envisioned that we'd have a huge turnover in the White House again with the cabinet and all that. But yeah, that's a very fine point to put on it. It's quite depressing.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Well, think about this. Don Jr. is spearheading the appointments and the nominees right now. And he said, I want to make sure that anybody that we nominate is not smarter than Donald Trump. I want to make sure that Donald Trump is the smartest man in the room. That was the goal. So when you think about how breathtaking that is and what a low bar that is, think about the people that made this first round. The bench team we're talking about that's lying in the wake is going to be the biggest shit show this country has ever seen. And I just hope we can get to two years and that people go, oh shit, I forgot. I did have Trump amnesia. I totally forgot because I was too busy on TikTok to pay attention to what the hell was going on. He is a nightmare. We've got
Starting point is 00:11:40 to vote blue up and down the ballot and that there is a huge resistance that comes in. And because it's the only guardrail hope we have is to kind of hold the line for two years. That's it. That's, that's the only buoy that I can see being thrown at us. Right. Long 24 months. Yep. All right, guys, we'll see you later.
