The MAGA surrogates are hitting the campaign trails, and let's just say there's not much excitement within the cold for anybody other than their dear leader. Here is a photo of J.D. Vance's crowd at his rally in Texas. Pop this up. The crowd at J.D. Vance's rally in Tyler, Texas, minutes out from the start of the program, there are a dozen people there, and I'm not, for those of you listening, I'm saying there may be 20. 15 tops. And this is, of course, the rally where he accused James Tallerico of being gay. And me think the lady doth protest too much to quote Shakespeare there. And then here is a video of little Moses Mike Grindr Johnson's crowd size in Texas. Let's play the clip. Okay.

For those of you listening, tens of people. I mean, I would say 30 tops. are rolling out for the Speaker of the House as he sits there. And in my opinion, is making the case for the Democrats. Every time Little Moses gets on television, he talks about it's going to be nonstop investigations. They're probably going to impeach President Trump. I'm like, you keep going, good boy. The Lord is working through you, little Mike.

Josh. Well, and keep in mind, this is in Texas. This isn't, you know, in some place. Real Texas. Yeah, real Texas. where they're not popular, so they're not pulling in many people at all in these areas. And it's pretty dire. I mean, the videos look pretty dire.

But I don't want us to get somewhat complacent about crowd size because we've been down that path before. We think that the Democrats look good across the country. We think they look good in Texas. But it's very important that everybody. I'm glad you brought that up because the polling is tightening everybody. pop this up. This is a Marist poll that came across my feed this morning. A Texas poll, Marist has an A ranking in polling, okay? It shows James Tallerico up by only two points. It shows Greg Abbott, aka Governor Hot Wheels, up by four points. And then on a generic ballot,

it shows the Republicans at plus five. And I want to show you guys this, because this reminds me a lot of 2024. Republicans, shitty crowd sizes, Kamala, bumper to bumper, full of people, all the enthusiasm, celebs. I mean, big celebrations, you know, so excited about this candidate, so excited to beat Trump again. And the polls were tightening behind the scenes. And they're doing that right now. And I think the big explanation for this is there are a lot of people that live in the United States that, You know the cultists because they make it abundantly aware. They're avatar on social media is the fight, fight, fight, assassination photo.

But there are a lot of secret Trump voters among us. There are people who know better, who would not say in polite spaces, yeah, I voted for Trump three times because they know how depraved he is. But these are the most duplicitous people in the electorate, the ones that know better, but then when they get in that ballot box, It is like a moth to a flame to vote for the recreational cruelty. And we're seeing that start to pop up two to three weeks before the midterms. And I tell you all this, because this is so important that we not take one thing for granted.

Because it's not that these guys aren't popular where they were in rural America. It's that people know it's embarrassing to support them, but they do it anyway. Josh. Yeah. And a lot of these Republicans will vote simply based on party affiliation because of how that's intertwined with religion. And you talk about this a lot, as opposed to the candidate, whether or not that, because you can't look at a person like Ken Paxton and think that he's a good candidate, that he's a moral, a good person, that he would be a good leader. You can't. It's impossible unless you're just brain dead or stupid, which many have them are.

But you couldn't do that. So why then would you vote? Why does he have 45% and Teller Rico, 47%. They do it because it's so tribal for them that they have to identify with this Republican party. It doesn't matter how morally bankrupt this son of a bitch is. It doesn't matter how corrupt this person is. I identify as a Republican. I love Jesus.

My religion's important. All of this stuff helps them justify voting the way they've voted. the way they vote. Otherwise, it's unexplainable. I couldn't explain it. I couldn't articulate it. I have a hard time here in Oklahoma when people ask why they're so unhappy and they can't identify with the fact that everything here is Republican. And if you're unhappy, it's the Republicans' fault. They can't understand these basic things. I don't know about you guys, but I love fall. I love when the air gets crisp. So the most informative chart I've ever assembled, this is from like Shia, Jane, regarding the midterms, isn't a map. It's a comparison of Trump's net approval and the average gas price. And for those of you listening, you see immediately, when gas prices go up, you see an exact mirror in the opposite directions of Trump's disapproval number going down. I'm sorry, his approval number going down, et cetera. So the reason I share this with you is some of the biggest news that the Republicans are failing to act upon is that Donald Trump agreed to buy fuel, diesel fuel and natural gas and oil from Russia. After Russia invaded Ukraine and started attacking Ukraine and started a war with Ukraine, we passed a law that we could not buy this from them. So this was in our government.

Donald Trump is abundantly aware of that graph. The people surrounding him are abundantly aware of that graph. He is trying right now to get diesel fuel and gas and natural gas. The price is to go down because then his approval goes up. And when elections are on the margins, that makes a huge, huge difference. And I share this with you all because all of us are obviously locked in. We're all political junkies. We're all really, really engaged.

A lot of Americans simply aren't. and they look at, I used to pay $25 to fill up my car and now I'm paying $50. Are you kidding me? I want this motherfucker out of here. And that's the way their thought their voting goes. And Republicans know this. I bring this up because this is just a small little, you know, quick fix that he's going to do before the election. And when you take the electorate to Texas, you have Governor Hot Wheels there and you have a bunch of Republican sycophants to

where if it is a two-point win by Tala Rico, imagine Josh, him calling Abbott or, you know, the Attorney General or Secretary of State there and saying, you know, we need to throw out about 80,000 ballots here. And they're like, we got you, bro. Yeah, well, we know that's coming next, right? I mean, we know that. It happened in Atlanta, in Georgia with the officials there.

So we know that's coming. So make no mistake. And we also know there's going to be law enforcement agents at the police. when people try to vote. So we can just expect that. You know, this issue with his voters and his approval rating and so forth, and you showed the graph that showed that his gas prices went up, his approval went down. But think about this.

It's not enough that his involvement in the Epstein files. It's not enough. All these things he does on a day-to-day basis don't dip that number. You know, all the corruption, just everything. Like, we could spend hours each day talking about this man and the corrupt things that he's doing, and it still wouldn't be enough time. But, like, none of that is a deal breaker for these dumb son of a bitches. But if they have to pay more at the pump, then it starts to be.

And that sort of typifies that sect of voters, that they don't care morally. All these Christian MAGA people that vote him, they don't care morally or religiously about these issues that affect mankind, that ICE are shooting innocent Americans in the streets. I don't give a shit about that. You know, a big deal. But man, if I have to pay more money at the gas pump, you know, that's going to bother me. And it's just like, who are the, you know, it's so disheartening. It just pisses me off.

It just makes me mad. I completely agree. And SCOTUS is taking up a case involving Elon Musk. Pop this up. The Associated Press is reporting the Supreme Court agrees to intervene and watch dogs. lawsuit seeking records about Elon Musk's Doge, citing with the Trump administration. Josh, unpack this for us. Well, this is going back to the Supreme Court, and it's brought by a watchdog agency against

Doge, and I think they're trying to determine whether or not Doge is subject to the FOIA Act, the Freedom of Information Act, so that they can get records about this. And I think this case has been up there once before, and the fact that the Supreme Court has accepted it, that they've granted a certiori on this to hear it is disturbing because it's never a good sign for us, that they're going to look at this. And I think we're going to see exactly where this takes us. And I'm not optimistic that they would rule against Donald Trump in any way, shape, or form. I think they've shown their intentions. This went up earlier. and now they're just asking the court to clarify, I think, some things.

And it's disturbing that Elon Musk, his involvement at Doge and what exactly is Doge? And how did he get access to everyone's private information and the things that went on? And if the Supreme Court comes back and says, I'm sorry, that's part of the executive branch, and you're not able to review or get these things and they protect Trump, that's just going to be another dagger in the corruption of the court that we've seen day in and day out. And that's what I would anticipate seeing. I don't have any optimism that they're going to provide any meaningful check against this. That's why we need to reform the Supreme Court.

And I think it's not only do they protect Trump. All of these people use Trump as a useful idiot, including the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is protecting private wealth. That's what they do. They protect corporations' rights. They take away rights from people. They take away the potential to have companies not put carcinogens in products that nobody can avoid. They're always going to side with corporations. And because Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, mind you, I think with, this is my opinion with Doge, he probably committed a shit ton of crimes. They're going to side with money. Because when it comes to repatriation, The Christian stuff is bullshit. They value money over human beings 12 times out of 10. And then we have the first lady who trotted out yesterday, and she is announcing a new AI competition for children. Let's play the clip.

We already have become so separated from each other because of these smartphones. We're all spending way more time on this, there's my cute dog, way more time on our smartphones than we are talking to each other. Our kids are spending more time on devices than they are playing with each other. And we're seeing the rot from that

because sociologists, psychologists, people who study our species, we need to be connected. Being connected with each other is as healing psychologically, as exercises for your body physically. This is very dystopian. This is very dangerous. And you have so many different people in the regime starting to prime until the psychological soil for everybody to think AI is the solution for everything. Kids need us to engage with them.

We need an administration right now that is trying to get us to pull away from our phones, to pull away from some of this technology. and lean into the human connectedness. But the regime is propped up by these multi-billionaires that are about to all become trillionaires who are using this technology to dismantle democracy and they want to remove all of the workforce and take your wages. This are the people that are coming for your jobs. Even teachers, they want little kids taught by AI.

It's insane. Josh. You know, I think I could communicate better with Claude, though, than I could with Melania. By far, like, I could punch something in and it would say something back. Like, if you showed that clip to a group of kids, like it looks like propaganda from the Kremlin. I mean, that's literally what it looks like. And this is the First Lady of the United States of America. As to the merits of it, I mean, I think you hit all of it pretty well. Like, I don't have a lot to offer on that. I heard her nonsense and just that bullshit. I do want to highlight a lot of the races for Senate and House around the country.

Debates have been happening this week. And this was one of my favorite clips. And we could just do episode after episode of all of these. You have Senator Collins debating Troy Jackson. There were some great moments there. My favorite was John Ossoff calling out Mike Collins. And this is the senatorial race in Georgia. And Mike Collins has a bunch of non-conciliation.

Nazis that work in his campaign is all I can say. I mean, just he is just surrounded by Nazis, which makes me think, you know, whatever. Okay, so here's John Ossoff calling him out. Play the clip. How weak a person do you have to be to be unable to stop someone under your own roof from disseminating neo-Nazi propaganda while you run for the Senate? The paper reported it's still going on to this day. How about this, Mike? We can show. shake hands on it. Will you commit tonight that for the remainder of this campaign, it's just three weeks, Mike, you won't allow any more neo-Nazi propaganda to be produced from your house. I like the framing of that question. It's almost like asking, hey, you won't hit your child anymore, will you? Like, that's the kind of question it is where it's loaded. Like, there's no way to answer it properly. I love that. I love Asoff. And what he's referencing there is it's his son-in-law. It's his son-in-law, married to his daughter, that's one of the persons in question. That's a neo-Nazi with white supremacy ties and so forth. So it's a legitimate question. I love how he asked the question because any kind of response puts you in a bad position. It's the famous thing, like, are you going to quit beating your kids? And if you say, yeah, so well, then you're fucked. So, okay.
