You know what I love more than anything on the planet is conviction. And it seems to be a rarity
these days. People that just can change their opinion or talk the talk, but not walk the walk.
And I'm going to tell you who has just ironclad conviction, and it is the country of Canada. They have swung completely left and Donald Trump just
delivered a liberal government to Canada. Their number one voting item that they voted on was to
strengthen their country to fight Donald Trump. And how sad is that? They were our biggest ally.
All of this for nothing. Listen to this Canadian woman.
Thinking who I voted for would be the best
to take care of Trump because Trump is, I'm sorry to say, an ass and he shouldn't even be
president of the United States. But because he is, we need a strong person so that we could stand
strong. I mean, I completely agree with her. And I think that this is the character trait that is
lacking in American culture. People will talk the talk. They never walk the walk. You have got to
stand for democracy unapologetically and without fear. And there are so many people in this country
that don't, that are trying to both sides it. And we create this toxic environment.
Well, what's happening now?
The world is all aligning.
Our former allies that believe in democracy, free speech, has these people believing that everybody thinks Trump is a strong man, that everybody loves his policies.
But if you get out of that, you realize that Kamala Harris was right.
Donald Trump is a laughingstock across the world.
We saw it at the Pope's funeral.
We see Canada electing a liberal over a conservative who was picked to win a year ago because Trump is so toxic.
And that's an absolute message that has got to penetrate. So what is Trump doing, you know, as he's melting
down every pillar of the United States of America? Here he is on the White House lawn.
And just think about this. You're the president of the United States and you give a shit about
petty things like this. Play this video.
In the first quarter of the big game, which I was there, I watched in person.
I was there along with Taylor Swift.
How did that work out?
Okay.
So you guys know we chip Munker's voice so that it's more palatable for you all.
But here is, imagine you're the president of the United States and you're like jealous of one of the most popular, successful pop stars in the world.
Like it's just, it's this childlike crap.
It's this Old Testament, the way the Old Testament God is described, petty, vengeful, jealous, all of those things. He is like the manifestation of the Old Testament God,
which is why I think so many of these crazy brainwashed right wing Christians are so in on
him because it's like an identical person. Old Testament God and Trump is the same petty,
jealous, unevolved, unenlightened individual. Cruel too. Here's the thing about Trump. He is so petty.
He sees polls on Fox News. He attacks Rupert Murdoch. He sees that Taylor Swift endorses
Kamala Harris and makes a comment about J.D. Vance. He's so petty. And you know why he's so
petty? Because he is intellectually compromised. He is not smart and he is worried about one thing and one thing
only, his narcissism. Full stop. And I just want to give a shout out to the brave Philadelphia
Eagle football players that did not show up. There were about 10 of them. Of course, one of the most
famous was the quarterback, Jalen Hurts, but there were about 10 that didn't go. And that's
the conviction that it takes to beat fascism and to beat these authoritarian plays. All right,
now let's shift back to Canada and talk about the Trump effect and how the Trump effect
is affecting the globe. Put this up. The liberals went from a 20-point deficit in January to a win tonight because Canadians are furious at Donald Trump.
That's not American provincialism.
It's palpable on the ground here in Canada and what every expert I spoke with told me.
And this isn't just happening in Canada.
It's happening in Mexico.
It's happening all over Europe. It's happening in Mexico. It's happening all over Europe.
It's happening in Australia.
It's happening in Asian countries.
There was right before this election, all the news was, oh, there's a rightward shift globally.
Well, one of the most famous countries in the world, we just went rightward and the world is seeing it and they don't like the results.
They realize, oh, it's not fun to play patty cake with fascists.
It's not fun to dismantle expertise.
It's not fun to deny people due process.
We end up being like, you know, Saudi Arabia or Iran.
And people don't like that.
Once you have freedom, you don't want it taken away.
And the world is responding accordingly. Next up, we have Mark Carney on American
isolationism and how it is a failure connecting it to Brexit.
What lessons of Brexit will you apply?
Well, I think the lessons of Brexit are beginning to be applied to the United States.
When you break off or substantially rupture trade relationships with your major trading
partners, Canada included, the most important trading partner of the United States, you
end up with slower growth, higher inflation, higher interest rates, volatility, weaker
currency, a weaker economy. And we're in the early stages of that in the
United States. Okay. So, you know, I think it's super important for American citizens that care
about their rights, that care about the rights of their neighbors, that care about due process,
that care about the constitution and the rule of law to make sure the news that you get is factual, to make sure that you're
trafficking in facts. And if you happen to be curious about how there is still a 30% approval
rating for Trump, I have the app for you. Every single morning, Pumps and I are not journalists,
but we have to cover a lot of the work that very brave journalists do. And our number one source
of news
to prep for these episodes is Ground News.
Pumps, tell them your favorite parts of Ground News.
Okay, I love Ground News because they consolidate
all the news, they tell you who's reporting it,
right, left, center.
They also tell you, is it factual?
Who owns the company that's presenting it?
Was it recycled?
Who's reporting it?
It's very important to know where
your news is coming from. It is. You know, on top of all of that, it's really fascinating to see
a news story and if the right wing is overly covering it and the left wing isn't and vice
versa. And then what stories just right down the center the media outlets are reporting.
I'm telling you guys, this is a game changer and it's a part of fighting and standing up for democracy. And we have a deal for you. You can join us by going to

Pumps, what did you think about the prime minister of Canada as it pertains to American isolationism?
I have long thought that Brexit and what's going on with Trump were similar.
So I was glad to hear him say that. And you look at Britain now, they are so, the population
regrets that decision. And hopefully we won't get as far as Britain did leaving completely.
But Trump is absolutely isolating America. And he's going to make it worse,
not only for Americans, but globally. But the biggest sufferers are going to be Americans.
And I was glad to see him point that out. I think that we're going to go further than the UK did.
I think that this is far worse because even over there, they don't have just a blanket
two-party system. And this is an inherent problem in united state politics trump
won by a little over one percentage point and the difference in what kamala harris proposed
and campaigned on and what he campaigned on are so dramatically different and there's no mitigating
force in there anywhere so the pendulum has just swung to this crazy fascist we're going to put up
mug shots in the white house lawn we're going to have car commercials We're going to put up mugshots in the White House lawn. We're going
to have car commercials. We're going to have a pay-to-play system. We're going to defund all
of this stuff. It is insanity. At least they have more guardrails there. We have none,
absolutely none. So I think we're going to go, we're going to suffer far, far, far more than the UK could have ever dreamed of suffering.
Because at least they still agreed to be allies with the EU militarily.
And they agreed to defend each other and defend democracy.
But the one thing that they have in common, the Brexit and what's happening in the United States of America,
is this anti-immigration sentiment. And this is something that as the world gets more and more globalized, we're going to have
to learn how to deal with. Human beings by nature are very tribal. We lean into tribalism. And you
see that leaning into tribalism happened in the UK. And you see here that Trump stoked that to
get the rubes all wound
up, that these immigrants are coming to take your job. Immigrants didn't take anybody's job.
Most Americans are too lazy to do those jobs. These trans people are coming to take your money.
Trans people haven't taken any money. These trans people are going to abuse your kids.
Trans people don't abuse kids. Drag queens don't abuse kids. From where I see it in the United
States of America, the majority of that stuff happens in church, church camps, the Catholic church, et cetera.
And that's all widely documented. All right. Next up, we have just a debilitating graph
on MAGA policies. Put this up. So you have job approval. He's at 39. The economy since Trump took office, only 21% of the population thinks it's better.
Prices for things you want or need, 62% of the American public say it's going up.
Likelihood of Trump's policies causing a recession, 72% of the population thinks that is what
is going to happen.
And I want to tell you guys before this race,
we on this very podcast said, if you want to see what MAGA super majorities do, look at red states.
We live in Oklahoma, MAGA super majority, 49th in education, 50th in healthcare. I can go on
and on and on. We are a bottom five to bottom 10 state, as is all of the buckle of the
Bible belt. The Bible swings, the Bible deep South states are, and they have Republican super
majorities. And every single year they convince their public to vote against their best interest.
Our governor talks constantly about we need to run Oklahoma like a business.
Meanwhile, he's running Oklahoma into the ground.
One of the biggest myths,
aside from this trickle-down economics bullshit
that has been disproven,
is that somehow government and business are the same.
They're completely polar opposite.
And so we have to do a very big job educating the public about what the purpose
of government is. Those plane crashes you saw in Washington, D.C. at Reagan National,
it's the government's job to make sure that doesn't happen. Now they're not going to be
checking for salmonella and chicken. We're going to have sick sick people we got measles because we have a bunch of dipshits
that spread misinformation and disinformation so that immigrants like elon musk can be welfare
queens in the united states of america and they get all of these working class people
to vote for it it's utterly insane all right subscribe to our channel. We are trying to reach 1 million subs and we are getting closer and closer and we'll see you all later.
