The most corrupt president in history, convicted felon Donald Trump, continues to pour out more
racist flags. I mean, it strikes me as no surprise that his most recent appointee is a huge white
supremacist. Trump just appointed Paul Ingrassia to head the United States Office of Special Counsel.
Ingrassia has defended the Confederate flag and claimed Black Americans should pay reparations
to the descendants of slave owners.
And then here's his post about the Confederate flag.
In a proper country, any public building now flying the Ukraine flag would be forced to
replace it with the Confederate battle flag or face serious fines. Also, the Confederate flag is not hate
speech and anyone who claims otherwise is a brain dead lemmy who knows zilch about American
history. And he's 29 years old and this is the kind of crap that goes on in his head.
It is so appalling
in every way.
Well, this is a generation where Charlie Kirk and others started going after the youth,
and then they started building a right-wing media ecosystem. They're able to indoctrinate
people online
with, they probably have racist default settings
from their parents, particularly in the South,
if this guy is all about the Confederate flags.
But this mindset doesn't shock me that it exists
because I live in Oklahoma,
and I know that racism is very alive and well.
People on the coast don't quite understand it,
but what Trump is doing
by appointing these people, again, it is an authoritarian play. He is doing all of this
stuff out in the open. He knows that there is this trail to let people know this is the
direction we're going. I'm a dictator. I'm an autocrat, I'm an authoritarian. And all of this is by design to make black people and marginalized people feel helpless
and hopeless so that they don't organize and fight back.
Well, it's interesting that you said that about the youth because we see the new special
counsel with Andrew Tate, who is absolutely abhorrent, but kind of a legend in the masculine community.
And then this is what he said to Nikki Haley on Twitter.
Nikki Haley says, Benjamin asks a great question.
Why won't Trump debate me?
Maybe because he's afraid.
And Paul Ingrassia says, it's actually because you're an insufferable bitch. And I wanted to bring this up because I, in my opinion, the way the Trump administration
treats women as disposable and has made it very clear with the, with Donald Trump in
the white house, Pete Hegseth at the Department of Defense, we don't care if you're sexually
harassed.
We don't want women at the table.
Women should be at home. This is a patriarchy. Just like with the racism, this administration is against
women and it is clear as the nose of my face. Well, Trump calls women nasty and has for
a very long time. And this guy saying that to Nikki Haley and then so many Republican women going along with it and going along with this appointment,
it shows the enabling is across gender lines.
And you have so much internalized misogyny within the Republican movement in middle America
that you're exactly right.
They want to see women at home.
They don't want women in careers because I would even argue
women are not near as emotional as men. I agree. From what I have seen of this administration,
it's whining, complaining, titty baby, victim, Dan Buongino, whatever, however you say his name.
He was whining on Fox News the other day. Trump whines all the time. These men are so
insecure and so inherently emasculated by their fragile egos that they have to demean everyone
and everything around them to try to prove that they are in fact masculine. When all of their
behavior shows that this is just like him saying that to Nikki Haley is just so weak to me.
So like such low hanging fruit. Well, this whole administration, I mean, I could go on
and on and on about the internalized misogyny and my anger with women, but I'll save that
for another day. And speaking of you mentioned Charlie Kirk. Well, guess who was at the White
House with Donald Trump this week? Here we go. Charlie Kirk called Martin Luther King Jr. a bad guy and called anti-segregation legislation a
mistake. Trump hosted him at the White House yesterday. So that would have been on May
28th. And what I have to say about all that is the young men of this country are in a
free fall for this kind of thing. For this Paul and Gracia,
Andrew Tate, Charlie Kirk. And I think you're right. They're a slave to their insecurity.
And this MAGA movement feeds that. It feeds them that they're better, that white men,
white young men have been dealt a bad hand because women are accomplishing and achieving
at a rate higher than they are.
And it is gross. I am just appalled by all this. So this, it doesn't surprise me at all that Trump is surrounding himself with these people because he always has surrounded himself with these people.
And then when you're a convicted felon, it leaves the bottom veters left to come over and support you. But again, all of this is intentional. This is an intentional,
authoritarian, autocratic play. This is all by design that he is surrounding himself with these
people. And my issue is, I'm not shocked by any of this, none of this surprises me at all. This is
just another day in Trump's America. My issue is, where is the Democratic plan?
Why are we not coordinating an effort to call out these men for being the emasculated titty
babies that they are?
That is so shitty of Charlie Kirk to say that, so why don't we call him out?
There seems to never be any counterattack to any of this,
especially not from the Democrats. The fact that he's hanging out with all of these misfits,
these bottom feeders, these flea bags at his goddamn flea market that he's turned into the
Oval Office, and there's barely any response, there's barely any pushback. Again, all of that
is by design. He's flooding the zone with, look at all of these pieces of shit that I surround myself
by.
And then they're sitting there talking about tariff policy or some crazy tweet he did.
But this is intentional.
This is what authoritarians do.
And I am just, I'm not shocked by this.
I'm not surprised by this, especially living in Oklahoma, knowing that people, when that
gets right down
to it, that act like they're cool, act like they're hip, act like they're open-minded,
will triple Trump vote without even a second thought that they will do it.
They won't even feel any sense of betraying their gay friends, the women in their lives,
the minorities in their lives.
They do it with just complete impunity.
It doesn't surprise me one bit, but what surprises me is that there isn't a more targeted attack
on these men because it's a layup.
It's a layup to take down Charlie Kirk.
It's a layup to take down Ben Shapiro.
Ben Shapiro didn't even understand why women's vaginas got wet, and he set it on tape.
He set it on his podcast. It's a layup to take down
Donald Trump. It's a layup to take down JD Vance and they don't do it and that's what I don't
understand. I don't understand why the men that care about women, that care about the LGBTQ plus
community, that see society more in a collective light versus a patriarchal light.
I don't understand where the pushback is from this.
That's my problem with it.
I get that Trump's doing this.
It doesn't shock me.
It doesn't surprise me.
It doesn't really gross me out anymore.
I'm grossed out that there's not an equal response to it.
I agree with you on that because I think this would be the easiest thing on the planet. I mean, Trump is such an easy target. I mean, every single day from dawn
to dusk, you could call Trump out. I mean, start with Caroline Levitt who sits up there
and lies to the American people. Let's just focus on the men. Let's focus on the men.
That's the issue is the Democratic Party just spent $20 million on how to reach men. You know what
the men liked about Trump? He was a fighter. He stands up and he's rambling and all of
that, but he acts like a tough guy. He's a fake tough guy. And if the Democrats would
really stand up and fight, why is Pedro Pascal going so viral right now? Because he's standing
up for the most marginalized and he is an icon
for it. Why does Bernie Sanders go so viral? Because he stands up and he doesn't take shit
and he always stays on message. But there is this like just, I don't know, this real ambiguous
message from the Democratic Party and from Democratic leaders, that they are not just hammering these
titty babies that whine and cry. Pete Hegseth whines, cries victim. All of them, everybody in
the administration is in a perpetual victim. It would be a layup to take these fuckers down.
Yeah, and it makes me wonder, is it their ties to corporation that keep it from it? Lack of
conviction, lack of a good strategy on the party? I mean, I don't know, is it their ties to corporation that keep it from it? Lack of conviction?
Lack of a good strategy on the party?
I mean, I don't know, but it just seems like it would be the easiest thing in the world.
OK, and we've got a new Wired article that tells us about remigration.
Remigration, a far-right European plan to expel minorities and immigrants from Western
nations, may soon be a dedicated office following a Trump administration
reorganization of the State Department.
And it may already be happening in the U.S.
So that comes out and then boom, right on cue, little Marco.
The Office of Remigration will serve as the Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration
Hub for immigration issues and repatriation tracking, the document reads.
It will provide a policy platform for interagency coordination with DHS and other agencies on
removals, repatriations, and for interagency policy to advance the president's migration
agenda and on and on and on.
But I'm just like Marco Rubio's parents were immigrants. He is now running
the State Department at the behest of big balls, who Elon Musk appointed. And it is so World War II
dystopian to me to see that they're taking all these funds and all these efforts into getting
out immigrants from this country when we have actual real problems,
but they've convinced themselves that there really is this huge 20 open borders and all these migrants or murderers.
And I'm like, you're pardoning more criminals than you're locking up.
You're separating families. You're sending U.S. citizens that are children to other countries that need cancer treatment.
You are not
human. I just hate it. They ran on this, Pumps. They ran on the demonization and the dehumanization
of immigrants. They ran on this and they won. And they won because there is a huge anti-immigrant
backlash, not just in the United States, but in other countries
as well.
But what is interesting that is happening right now is as the world sees what's happening
in the United States, there has been a Trump bump nationally to the opposite effect.
All of these far right wing style candidates, since Trump's victory, are getting their asses
beat because it sounds fun and everybody gets stuck in some silo on the internet where they're
beaten up on people with brown skin.
But then when they see it on full display in the United States of America, you have
the decent people, the thinkers, the people with real morals, with real convictions, with
a real spine saying, no, we're not doing this.
So it surprises me zero that this is what they're doing. They campaigned on this.
You have tens of millions of Americans that like the cruelty of this. They like it. It is exciting
for them. Fox News shows the caravans. They show the little kids going to represent themselves in court.
All of these Maggacristians, they like it. There is a cruelty to this entire movement.
The world where the Maggacristians, the Christian nationalists, and these corrupt autocrats are
combining is a cancer in this country. And if the Democrats don't get their messaging together and quit pussyfooting around and
start attacking these people nonstop all day, every day in a unified front, they will continue
to keep moving the goalposts and moving the goalposts and moving the goalposts.
And I don't know if there will be a midterms and I'm not being hyperbolic.
Now, I wish you were being hyperbolic, but I've thought the same thing.
All right, that's what we have for today. Stick with us.
