Hey guys, it's Dr. Susie G and welcome to another In Your Pants episode where we destigmatize
sexual stigmas and cultural taboos so that you can do a happy dance in your pants and
live a healthy and freeing life.
It's time to get in the know down below.
In today's episode, we're talking about prostate massage.
So to help me open up the conversation about all things butt play, I'm chatting with Forrest Andrews.
Forrest is the product and business development manager with Aneros.
Forrest's loyalty and commitment to the Aneros brand began 15 years ago when he was first introduced to their original device.
The results were life-changing for him, turning around a decades-old health condition while revealing a powerful new vitality.
For the next 14 years, he consulted with the company and was closely involved in the evolution
of all of their products.
Being one of the founding members of the Aneros Forum, he was responsible for much of the
original content on the Aneros website, where he mentored thousands of men in the use of
these products.
In 2016, he solidified his relationship with Aneros, coming on board full time.
Forrest, thank you so much for being on the show today.
it was actually a recent training program participant that introduced me to you guys
and to the Anero's Helix SYN product, actually. And ever since then, I fell in love with it.
Well, thank you very much. Thank you for having me.
Thank you. And I'm not sure if you know anything about some of the work that I do,
but I work with men who have symptoms of persistent pelvic pain and prostatitis,
which I think if I understand correctly, this was something you were struggling with prior
to learning about prostate massage tools? You betcha. Absolutely. I was one of the
lucky, actually not lucky at all, unlucky guys that got it when I was about 26 years old.
And we're talking chronic prostatitis, as I was soon to find out. And I had been through
just about everything that you can imagine. You know, I mean, back in those days, you know, it was
all of the heavy duty antibiotics. I mean, there was a period of time I was on one in particular
for over two years straight. And it really did nothing for me except give me an allergy to
sulfa. But it was really, you know, out of desperation. Quite frankly, it went on for
decades before I got any really serious relief from it. And it was when I started to look for
something that was alternative. And that's how I happened on to this product.
Okay, so that leads me into a segue question is, how did you find out about N-Eros?
Well, again, listen, because of the condition that I had, I was always looking for different
things.
I'd gone through all sorts of different nutritionals that were out there.
They'd been on a variety of different diets to try to affect some kind of a change.
And, you know, I had some results with some of those things.
The antibiotic thing didn't do much for me.
I, you know, I'll confess that, but, uh, I was looking for something else and, uh, I
found out about it, uh, uh, actually it was in a blog somewhere.
Somebody had written about it and that they had had, uh, great results from, from using
this product.
That's wonderful.
So for the listeners out there, what exactly is a Nero's and how did it originate?
Well, the Nero's is a hands-free prostate massager.
The device is inserted anally and is powered by one's own contractions.
It consists of two main parts.
There's a body, that's the part that goes inside, and one or two external arms that
allow the massager to pivot forward with your own contractions.
It's made of a non-porous medical grade plastic and it's anatomically designed so that it
gives a safe, focused prostate massage with very little effort.
Wonderful.
Wonderful. And is there, in your research, because I know you've had the prostatitis and
sadly, many men go through courses of antibiotics like you were talking about unnecessarily. In
your research, is there, or in the research that the company is doing, is there any evidence of
its effectiveness in treating pelvic complaints? Well, yes, indeed, there is. Actually, first,
the company has received thousands of anecdotal reports over the years from satisfied users like
like myself. But in addition to that, there was a study that was done at Columbia University,
and that was back in 2009. And this was published in the Open Urology and Nephrology Journal.
And it examined the use of arm massager and the treatment of BPH and chronic pelvic pain syndrome.
In the study, there were, I believe, 150, 154 men or something of that sort. And the researchers
found that 83% of them reported some degree of improvement with their BPH symptoms. And that was
out of that number, 51% reporting very good improvement to complete alleviation of symptoms.
In the case of chronic prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain syndrome,
88% of the men reported some degree of improvement, with 60% reporting good improvement
to complete alleviation of symptoms. So, as you can tell, this is an effective product for dealing
with those complaints. You know, I'm sure that you realize that at one time, prostate massage
was the gold standard for dealing with these complaints. There were no antibiotics, you know,
and this was the only way that it was really dealt with. And the advent of antibiotics,
you know, there were certainly, there was like probably 50, 60 years before there were any that
were useful in treating bacterial prostatitis. But even when that was the case, there were a lot of
men that were fine, like myself, again, that were finding, weren't finding relief from any of those
medications. So that's the kind of the fast forward into, you know, a day when allopathic
doctors as well as alternative medicine started looking back at prostate massage once again.
So the frequency, now I'm sure guys and others have probably reached out to you, like how often
should I be doing this? What's a beneficial amount? What did you guys use for the study?
and what have you found to be beneficial? For purposes of the study, I believe that it was
three times a week for sessions lasting in about, I believe that they were like a half an hour to
45 minute sessions with the product. In my own case, that's pretty much what I was in line with
and not that I even knew of any study, you know, back then there wasn't a study when I was doing
this was in the nineties when I first discovered the product, but that's pretty much what I
followed and uh it was again it was life-changing for me because i had had relief from nothing else
wonderful this is great and like i said i i had a pelvic floor a participant one of my programs
bring the helix sin and i was fascinated i was like oh my god i'm using this wand which are
great too for tender points but a hands-free device that can um you can do it standing you
can do in sitting, you can do it in all different positions to help relax your pelvic floor muscles
and pay attention. And it's feels really nice because it's made out of silicone. And I know
you have some, the Trident series that's, that's come out as well. But I mean, I was really
impressed by the quality of the product. So I'm not just saying that I don't get no kickbacks.
I'm just saying you guys, I had no kickbacks. This is, I was honestly just truly impressed
with the product. And that's why I reached out to you guys for a podcast interview.
you i thought it was great well yes indeed it's again it's uh one of the beauties of the device
as well is is that because you're using your own contractions there's no possibility of hurting
yourself and doing it right you know so it's really it's a safe it's focused but it's a safe
level of pressure that's brought to bear on the prostate so uh there's there's nothing that is
uncomfortable or painful about it at least a great segue into the next question as well so
some men have inquired to me about if there's any dangers of quote-unquote overstretching or
possibly tearing the anal sphincter. Have there been any side effects reported from using the
aneurysm system and what would you advise? Because they come in different sizes as well, correct?
Yes, they do. In terms of that type of side effect, in terms of stretching or tearing of
the sphincter, no, absolutely not. We've not had anything like that. The sizes are there for people
who have preference. There are some people, we have a class that is a much larger product
called the Progasm Series. And these are for people who already have experience with
anal devices. For those who do not, again, all of our products must be used with a good quality
lube. And so long as you're using copious amounts of it and that you sort of ease into the whole
practice with it, there's really no way that you're going to hurt yourself. Now, in terms of
side effect there is there's really only one major side effect that people have reported
and that is a very very powerful whole body orgasm that many men have experienced as a result of
having this i will tell you that i was one of the guys who had one of those as a matter of fact i
was one of the guys that that called in to report about this side no way yes the very first time
that I used this product, again, I mean, bear in mind, I wasn't going into it for the erotic,
it was for the therapeutic. So, but the very first time that I used it, I was confronted with the
most intense orgasm that I've ever had in my life. It was something that started in the pelvis
and radiated out over my entire body. It lasted for like almost a minute and a half. It was
just insane. And I called the company and this was, you know, back in the day, they were not
marketing it as an erotic product at that time. It was just a health product. And they had told
me that they had had, you know, one or two people that had also reported this kind of thing
happening. So again, this is a very profound side effect. There were so many people that started to
report in on this that the company realized that there was this whole other marketing possibility
for the device. So, it is also, you know, marketed as an erotic device as well.
And I'm glad that you brought that up. And that's fantastic. That's a side effect that I think
no one would really complain about.
No, I think that people can, they can live with that. Again, it is, this is a non-ejaculatory
orgasm, by the way. And one of the beauty about this kind of experience is because there is no
ejaculation, there is no refractory period. So when you have no, that's the time out that most
guys get, you know, where they have a loss of arousal after ejaculation. Because that does
not occur, you can have one orgasm after the other. So it's multiple orgasms. And yes, I
experienced that. It was really something. I mean, within six months, I no longer had symptoms of
prostatitis and i was having rocking orgasms the entire time nice yeah win-win for everyone that's
great precisely precisely did they do any investigation on that like what's the mechanisms
i mean i i'm not sure so i'm curious and to see if there was anything like what is stimulating this
type of orgasm with the use of the device well there there haven't been actually uh we're in
the process of trying to do some of that work right now there's a case study that is ongoing
And we're trying to document some of that. But in terms of what this kind of orgasm is all about, it's nothing new. I mean, it goes back millennia to the writings of the Eastern traditions of Tantra and the Tao.
and uh so it's you know this is something that that people have been have known about for a
very long time in western culture in our traditions it's something that is very new
and uh i would dare say it's something that our company has helped bring to the fore
yeah and you're doing a great job about it guys you should follow their instagram page lots of
great content uh yeah so um another question comes from actually the same participant that
brought my attention to the NRO's product is, does prostate massage or any type of anal play
or muscular release require the user to have a bowel movement and or use an enema or something
similar before using the device? Not strictly necessary. If one is fairly regular to start off
with, if you have a fair amount of fiber in your diet, you know when you have to go and when you
need to evacuate. So it's not something that you absolutely have to have. There are some men who
are kind of squeamish, shall we say, about anal play. And for that reason, some kind of an enema
is probably advised. I usually recommend if somebody wants to do that, you want to do the
least amount that you can to just kind of do a quick rinse. Anytime that you involve a large
amount of water, you're going to engage peristalsis and then you're committed to clean out your entire
colon. But again, it's not something that is strictly necessary if you know your system pretty
well. I mean, there's some men that have a bowel movement maybe once or twice a day, and then
that's about it. And they have it at particular times. And outside of that, there's really
nothing for them to be concerned with. Yeah. I just know some guys when I'm doing work
internally on men, they'll report symptoms of wanting to have a bowel movement because
sometimes that can stimulate it. I don't know if you've had the similar experience or with others
using the product. What should they do in that instance? Well, there are a couple of things that
can cause that. Sometimes, believe it or not, the lube can cause that. Glycerin-based lubes
are known for doing this. As a matter of fact, glycerin suppositories are a way that they get
people to go. Now, the amount of glycerin that is in the lubes is not as much, but with people
who are sensitive to it it will produce what we call the urge to purge so i love it yeah for those
folks uh there are plenty of other solutions for that for now there are water-based uh non-glycerin
containing lubricate lubricants that are out there also there's silicone there are oil-based
you know there are several different you know natural preparations that are out there too
using different kinds of you know plant botanicals and things like that so yeah there are a lot of
different ways that you can go with that. Great, great. I have to tell them too,
it's a different sensation that they're feeling. And sometimes that experience might be confusing,
especially with the nervous system and the brain, you know, as I say, shit goes out.
Sometimes it's a weird feeling. And so, they just get used to it. And after a while,
they will be able to denote the two feelings. Yes. Yeah. And above and beyond that,
The sensation of having the prostate massaged and stimulated is something that many men, it is consistent with the feeling of needing to urinate.
Again, the sphincter that controls the flow of urine is, you know, in the center of the prostate there.
So, when there is some massage, when there is some focus on it, sometimes men will, you know, they will have that sensation.
but it's in terms of you know the erotic aspect of it uh it's something that some men get it some
men uh get it immediately as i did others take time it's a completely different kind of
stimulation and it's something that some men have to become custom to right right you just
don't become a bodybuilder overnight right precisely you gotta work out and work at those
orgasms, guys. You got it. All right. So, my other question is, is it safe to use the
aneurysm massager while submerged in the bathtub? Yes, absolutely. For purposes of that, though,
you're going to probably want to use something that's oil-based. So, in other words, probably
go with a Vaseline or something of that sort because you still want some lubrication in the
anal sphincter. And if you're using a water-based lube, you know, it's going to be washed away,
you know in the water so it's going to need to be something that is as oil-based and something
that has a little bit of staying power to it but yeah absolutely you know it's it's crazy there are
the men that that enjoy our products uh in the bath while they're swimming they're guys that
that do what they call wearing it out you know they quite literally they will go and they will
insert the product and they'll put on their clothes and then and they walk around they keep
it in all day interesting it's kind of like vaginal beads or or i don't want to anal beads
but they have products similar to women that stimulate them they kind of have like an edging
effect like you're not you're getting stimulated but you're not orgasming right per se well some
of these men do orgasm right right so uh you know they have to to kind of watch that i mean it's
it's decidedly more on the fetish end of it, I would dare say, but some men do enjoy it. So yeah,
so there are a variety of different ways to enjoy the product. I should say as well, it's possible
to use our products right out of the box without any special knowledge. This special orgasm that
I'm speaking of, again, some men will get that, others will take time to acquire it. But there
is another way that it can be used, and that's just in traditional lovemaking. You can insert
with the aneurysm. And then basically whatever you are doing, if you're receiving oral from
your partner, if you're having intercourse, any movements that you make with your body
are translated into a gentle massage of the prostate at the same time. So it makes for just
really, really powerful ejaculatory orgasms. And how did you guys come up with the design?
I mean, what went into designing all the products that you guys made?
well it's it's actually it's quite an interesting process i mean that we call it it starts with
modeling and that's something that's done believe it or not the old-fashioned way by hand so the
designs are hand carved from casted materials until we get something that we like from there
it goes to an industrial draftsman and he scans it and he creates a computer or cad rendering as
we call them from that and the design is then further refined and that cad stage you know on
the computer making sure that it has the precise symmetry that we're looking for from there we
have prototypes made and they go out to our testing group and those lucky fellows they get
to check out all of our products that i mean back in the day i was one of the very few testers
actually i tested every one of the products since 2002 but these days i have a whole group that
helps me with that. And depending on what they report back on us, it may, you know, certain
things may need to be changed or not. But once we have something that everybody's happy with,
a prototype that everybody's happy with, the CAD goes off for tooling and they actually make molds
and that's how it's done. It goes to our manufacturer. Wow. Wow. And how many prototypes
do you guys work with? Well, it just depends in terms of bringing out something that is brand new.
uh usually there will probably be at least you know two or three prototypes for everything that
that we do and it's i've always found that to be kind of an exciting stage of all of it because
you really see the whole thing taking shape and every now and then you get something that is
is just dynamite the very first shot you know out of the barrel and it's great when that happens
but at the same time, it's also cool when you really work on something and you have to really
work at it to get it just right. So, we have a variety of different, as you had pointed out,
different sizes and different shapes. And the reason for that is that men have different
preferences. Some like things that have a little bit more girth to them. Some men like things that
are a little bit smaller. We even have one device that we make that is not a prostate massager,
it's more of an anal massager so it's just very minimally penetrative but you know it's all
different shapes and sizes for all different preferences that's awesome and the fact that
you're getting feedback from average joes who value these products and give you honest feedback
before putting it out into the world you know that's great yes yeah they really they have a
good time with it too and it's i i think that that gives them some sense of you know participating
and i think they enjoy trying something on the cutting edge of it so it's it's really i think
it's an exciting process for us all we really are enjoying it right right and like i said
you guys created a wonderful wonderful product line and i can't rave about it enough so um
speaking of so you i don't have a prostate i'm sure everyone knows that by now but a question
came again from the same participant who asked what's really required to clean up afterwards
because he writes, it seems a little messy when dealing with the massager after a session. And
this could sort of, quote, kill the moment of pleasure, especially with a partner. So any
recommendations on that? Well, again, if it is really messy, they may want to look at using an
enema before. I mean, that would be an indicator to me that they may want to clean up a little bit
before. I always, by the way, in addition to an enema, I usually tell everybody to start with a
nice shower or bath too. It's a great way to relax and great way to clean up externally at the same
time. Beyond that, you know, there are ways of sanitizing all of our devices. Most of our
products, actually, excuse me, the ones that are made of silicone are actually boilable. So you
can do that with it. Okay. The other products that are not, you can use alcohol with them.
Certainly, soap and water is the first line of cleaning.
And then from there, using alcohol.
And that usually does the trick.
You know, all of our products are made from non-porous materials.
So, there really shouldn't be any problem with, you know, them saving anything in terms
of, you know, debris or odor or anything of that sort.
Great.
I'm glad that you mentioned that.
I didn't know that about the product.
So, that's fantastic.
Definitely don't want a petri dish of bacteria in the product.
So, that's great.
Great.
And there are some new things that are out there as well.
As a matter of fact, there's a product that we're selling on our website that is a sanitizer that you can get that uses UV light.
And so there are some of these products that are out there now, and it's kind of a simple way of dealing with it.
Of course, you still have to wash it to begin with, but beyond that, it gives it kind of an extra level of disinfection.
Great. How do you compare the prostate massage using perhaps one's finger versus a device like Aneros? Have you tried both yourself?
I've tried everything. I kid you not. I have tried everything at this point. And look, in terms of if you're talking about using your own finger, you know, it's possible for you to discover your prostate that way. It's not easy. I should tell you that.
If you have long arms, it's a lot easier, but you can discover your prostate that way. Effectively massaging your own prostate, it's kind of difficult, you know, doing a reach around, so to speak, to make that happen, because it's, as you know, it's located in what would be the anterior wall of the rectum.
So you have to insert your finger and then, you know, move it upward, sort of curl upward in a kind of a come hither motion. That's tough to do on yourself. With respect to having someone else do it, yes, it's something that someone else can do effectively.
And look, the quality of having a partner and interacting with a partner, that's tremendous.
So I won't, you know, I'm not trying to take anything away from that.
But there is something that our product, you know, brings to the equation that is quite unique.
Because what it does is that it not only stimulates the prostate, it stimulates the anus, and it also stimulates the perineum.
Okay, that's an acupressure spot.
So, basically, when you contract, it presses against the perineum, it drives the massager forward, stimulating the anus, and it engages the prostate.
So, you get sensation, you know, in those three areas.
We have devices now, our new Trident series that we've just brought out.
They actually have two external arms.
So, it not only contacts the perineum, it also contacts a spot we call a K-spot or the kundalini spot, an area just below the tailbone.
so you're getting stimulation in all of those areas simultaneously and that's that's really
how this very powerful orgasm occurs you're getting stimulation in all of those areas and
it builds what we call a positive feedback loop that creates a sensation and that sensation leads
to arousal and that arousal generates this very powerful wave in the body that creates this
this whole body orgasm i'm not familiar with the kundalini spot and just briefly you can kind of
share with us what where did that term come about how did you discover it and yeah i'm very curious
again it's something that's known in tantric circles and daoist practices as well and the
inventor of our device the founder of our company it's something that he was aware of and so it's
something he had been experimenting with for a long time trying to to integrate it into the device
and it produces a sensation that that's really something that's quite unique in its own right
and very very very powerful so i'm very excited about again about the trident series and i think
that men alert would be a lot of men the newcomers to our products as well as some of the uh
experienced users that are really going to find a lot to like about this.
Great. And you probably have already answered this question and all the great things that
you've just said, but is there anything else that, you know, if somebody is looking at
purchasing a prostate massager, you know, what would make Anhero's different from
all the others that are on the market?
Well, the chief thing is, is that it is anatomically designed. You know, this was,
I didn't get into this, but it was made originally in conjunction with a urologist who at that time was using prostate massage in his own practice.
And he had discovered its effectiveness and he had felt like if men were able to do this in the privacy of their own home, that they would do it more often and therefore gain a greater benefit.
I should tell you that from the perspective of the founder and owner of our company, the health aspect of our device is integrated into everything that we do.
He believes that it has to be effective on that level as a massager, not only as a stimulator, but it must be an effective prostate massager as well.
so uh again there are a lot of people there are a lot of companies uh that have come out with
similar products and you know over uh the last several years most of them are from people that
you know used to make dildos and other types of products that are trying to get into this business
and uh so far there really hasn't been anything that is uh close to what we do i mean our products
are patented. And we believe, and I think that in terms of how they've been received,
they're the best products on the market. I mean, it's by far a fantastic product. And I'm so sad
I didn't know about this earlier. So that's okay, moving onward and forward. So this is awesome.
Boris, thank you so much. How can listeners connect with you and learn more about Aneuros?
Well, they can come to our website. First and foremost, that's the best way to do it. We have
There's a guide that's there for people who want to buy product. If they want to learn about the product, we have a learning center that's on there. We also have our users forum, and it is tremendous. It's a resource that is tens of thousands of men strong, and it reflects the knowledge of countless men who have had this multi-orgasmic experience and others who are trying to achieve it.
So, there's a lot to learn about there. It's very exciting. And, you know, this is a whole capacity that men have. I like to tell people, you know, 90% of the guys that are out there think that they know 100% about every, there is to know about generating an orgasm. And it's just not true. So, it is a great way for them to really discover something new and something really, really, really powerful too.
